This teacher uses the NFL as a way to hold her students' interest in a number of different lessons!

This woman named Mary Crippen. She's a teacher and she's
also a huge Miami Dolphins fan. Don't hold it against him.
She figured out how to turn her student's love of
football into a full on learning experience and she calls
it NF Elementary. Isn't that cute?

At the start of the school year, each student in
Mary's Florida classroom drafts an NFL team and that team
becomes part of their learning journey all year long. What
they do is they write letters to the teams, They
track their stats for math lessons, use geography to map
out where their teams play, and NFL teams have actually
written back, some send care packages, teams swag, and it

was really exciting for the kids when NFL former player
Andrew Whitworth surprised the class before a Raven's Dolphin came
and the kids were just so excited. You can see
