Speaker 1 (00:00):
For rank in Bedford. Thanks for holding, Frank, and welcome
all right.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Jeff, this just gave over the wire and pull over.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
The NK off.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
The pilot Josh Ellis flew into the plane was a
man who wanted to be a woman. This man participated
in the interview a day before the crash. In the interview,
he voiced his dislike for the determination of DEI policies.
Identified as Chief Warrant Officer c W two, John Ellis

(00:31):
served in the Virginia National Guard for fifteen years, the
traditional while serving as a pilot, because a fifty to
fifty is an inside job.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Well, you know, Frank, I saw that story earlier, and
I don't know if that's been corroborated yet, Frank. I
know a couple of bloggers have gone with it. I
know some podcasters have. But the way it's being the
way I'm reading it, this is how it's being described,
is that there's a rumor that this person was transgender.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
So I don't know, Frank.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
You may be right, please don't get me wrong, But
until I have more hard evidence, I can't. I can't
corroborate that. That's why I didn't mention it. So We'll
have to wait and see. Look, if it is the
it wasn't that pilot. Okay, So Sandy says, yeah, it

(01:27):
was a rumor that that person was not one of
the three crew members on board of the Blackhawk helicopter.
So that's why I said, I didn't want to run
with it because it wasn't corroborated. But look, Frank, let's
just say this. If they're trying to cover it up.
If there is a I'm not saying there is, but
if they're trying to cover it up, they're not going

(01:47):
to get away with it. It's going to come out.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Believe me.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Trump's gonna want the information to come out. Hag Seth
is going to want the information to come out. Sean Duffy,
the new Transportation Secretary, is going to want the information
to come out. So they won't be able if it
is true, they won't be able to cover it up.
But no, the reason why Frank I didn't mention it
was they kept saying, you know, that's the rumor, that's

(02:11):
the rumor, that's the rumor, And I'm like, I respect
this audience too much. Yeah, yeah, the pilot is still alive. No,
I understand this Joe Ellis is still alive, so it
appears to.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Have been a rumor. I'm just explaining my thinking.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
You know, four hours ago, right, it was a hot
it was hot on social media about four hours ago.
And I'm like, I don't want to ever pedal rumors
to this audience. I mean, I'll tell you if I'm speculating, right,
I'm saying, hey, look, you know, like we're in the
living room, here's what I think. But I don't want
to run with something and say it's true and we

(02:48):
don't know it's true. I would never do that to you.
Six one seven two six six sixty eight sixty eight
is the number Gordon in Vermont. Thanks for holding Gordon,
and welcome.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
Good morning, Jeff, Hi Gordon. You know, I can't help
thinking of some science fiction I read years ago that
this modern age seems to have used as a script.
Like one of them is a story by CM Cornbluth,
short story, same name, maybe the grandfather of the head

(03:22):
of MIT. But it was called The Marching Morons, and
it was exactly about this, where people were running stuff
that they were not competent to do, and just things
are crashing, coming part blown up, and I think that
what's happening, it's a kind of terrorism, really promoting people

(03:44):
are incompetent to do things that absolutely require competence and
just destroying this country from within by causing things to
just go wrong. And it's such a massive scale. And
that's you know, that's what it looks like to me.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Oh, I agree, Gordon, I completely agree. And just to
maybe throw another quick log on the fire, and I
want to get your take on this, Gordon. David in Brookline,
one of our previous callers, I thought, made a really
interesting point where he said, Jeff, have you noticed, especially
in the last couple of years. I don't know if
it's COVID, whatever it is, DEI woke, this woke virus

(04:25):
that's infecting so much of our society. But not just airplanes,
not just you know, transportation, but nothing or not nothing,
but so much doesn't seem to work as well anymore.
And David said, you know, you call customer service. And
I remember, Look, I got to tell you thirty years

(04:47):
ago when I first came to the United States as
a graduate student at Ohio University, I couldn't believe how
good the customer service was. It was incredible. Anything it
doesn't matter. You call, oh maybe a minute, thirty seconds,
You wait and then hi, can I help you?

Speaker 4 (05:05):
And with a big smile.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Now he's right, he wait forever.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Nobody cares.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Now I'm not just saying, you know, calling an eight
hundred number McDonald's a couple times. Now I've gone and
it's a good McDonald's. You're waiting and waiting, long lines, waiting, waiting,
you know, for the drive through, and you're like, I
don't have half an hour Like this used to never happen.

(05:33):
So what I'm saying is healthcare. I remember when I
first came. Oh my god, how quickly you got seen
and the quality service you received.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Now I go.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
To the doctor's office, I'm waiting three, four, even sometimes
five hours. And what they also do is they see you,
but they don't see you. In other words, they sit
you down and you're waiting, and then you're just waiting
in a chair inside the doctor's office, and the doctor's
in a different office, so it's almost like, well, let's
just get him out of the waiting room and then

(06:06):
stick them in and then you know, and he'll wait
there another half an hour. So I've noticed overall that
just the quality of things, the quality of service just
overall has gone down. Gordon, Am I imagining things or
do you agree or disagree?

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Absolutely, this is what I've been saying. I am now
officially old because I'm like seventy one now, which is
amazing to me. I don't think it's possible my hair
hasn't turned white. But I remember a lot of things
going back to the days when people competence was king.
You know, you had to be competent to do stuff,
And now it seems like the whole idea of diversity

(06:51):
is we must lower the standards too for some you know,
supposedly to be fair to people. But I think it's
being done on purpose to destroy this kind of because
you have incompetent people doing important, serious work. You know.
It's I don't know who sponsors it about our education system,
the Chinese, the Communists, all kinds of just bad actors

(07:12):
who hate America and they want to see it destroyed.
And this is how they do it by like termites.
You know, they can't just frontal attack. They just hollow
everything out until it collapses like a rock.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
No, Gordon, I love the analogy. I think it's a
brilliant analogy, and you're you know, you're talking at the
highest levels. I agree with you. I think it's education.
I think part of it is, you know, just our
horrible education system. Have you seen some of the people
that work drive through McDonald's. Now, okay, we're going to
go back, obviously to the jam phone lines, but first

(07:44):
joining us, now, Ash she always does at this time.

(09:52):
just super super quick. I don't want to take too
much time on this. But you know, Mike was chiming
in while we were off air. He goes, Jeff, you
got to see the win be's near my house. He goes,
it's I think it's the worst. I go really, so
apparently Mike tells me that, Mike, what do you get?
You get like the Super cheeseburger? Is that what you get, Mike?

(10:12):
The dollar cheeseburger? That's it, all right? So he gets
the dollar cheeseburger with the nuggets, a small fry, and
say a little drink. And he says, first of all,
he's got to wait half an hour just to get
to the takeout window. He goes, He goes, Jeff, legit
half an hour? And then what do they give me?

(10:33):
A number four and the number seven? And I'm like,
I didn't order all of this. They keep getting the
order wrong. Now I'm starting to see it. At my look,
it's a couple of times now, long wait twenty twenty five,
thirty minutes, and they're always getting the order wrong. So

(10:53):
that's just a little you know, just I don't know.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
Now.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Jack messaged me on messenger and he said, Jeff, have
you noticed ninety percent of the time you hire someone
to do the job, you always have to ask them
to come back because they didn't quite do it the
right way. Now, Grace hired someone to do a paint job.
Guess what horrible job?

Speaker 4 (11:18):
She couldn't believe it.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
She was it was horrible.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Come back, you know, you got to redo this. This
is horrible.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
And Jack was saying, Jeff, it's those phones, especially younger
people today, but just in general, they're always got their
face in front of that phone. And Jack believes, you know,
education system, the overall dumbing down of America. And I'm sorry,
but I agree with him. We're starting to live with
the consequences of this six one seven two six six

(11:47):
sixty eight sixty eight. That's why Trump is one thousand
percent correct. You've got to restore competence as king, competence, achievement, excellence, merit.
Those are the values that made America great. Those are
the values that are going to make us great again.

(12:08):
Bill in New Hampshire, thanks for holding Bill and welcome.

Speaker 7 (12:15):
Yeah, Jeff, first time calling here, but uh pilot for
the past ten years professional pilot.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
And also a welcome Bill, Thank you, Bill.

Speaker 7 (12:24):
Also a comment active flight instructor and I got caught
about half the show, so I haven't not sure if
you guys have talked about this quite yet. But if
you look at the jet that was ahead of.

Speaker 8 (12:33):
The American Eagle that crashed, right, yes, so they're coming
in for one runway run way one, it's a longer
runway at Washington's. Now, that jet out ahead of the
plane that crashed, was asked if he could do that
same side step maneuver over the runway three to three,
a shorter runway. He said he was unable. Now, this controller,

(12:55):
that was the controller's mistake all day. He has his
sequence completely messed up, completely mess up.

Speaker 7 (13:02):
Then he asks the poor American eagle behind him, who
ends up crashing obviously into the helicopter, and he gives
them the wins and he says, are you able to
accept runway three three?

Speaker 9 (13:13):
Now?

Speaker 7 (13:13):
If you see in the tape the American eagle that crash,
it's about twenty seconds before he finally responds, and he
says yes. Now he is doing that to help out
the controller and to cover for the controller's mistake. That
controller made a mistake his secrets. If you look at
the radar, which is all out there on YouTube now,
it's all messed up. So here he is doing him
a favor now that not only did that controller not

(13:35):
point out the traffic properly as you were discussing earlier,
to the helicopter, he also put that American eagle waight
into a helicopter cardor that has formed all the time,
you would expect helicopters to be that he knows he
has a helicopter coming and he still turns him into
that cardor it's just this criminal. It's absolutely criminal, Jeff.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Bill look as an experien and obviously you really know
what you're talking about as an experienced pilot. Now I
know you're not an air traffic controller. I understand, But
what is your theory on why that air traffic controller
made that fatal mistake?

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Is it DEI?

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Is it overwork and exhaustion and understaffed? Is it as
it's now coming out, he was doing, you know, doing
combining two jobs. They were supposed to have two people,
they only had one. He was monitoring both helicopter and
the plane traffic and he just he couldn't do it.
He just took his eye off the ball, or he

(14:38):
made a mistake. What do you think the culprit is
if you were to guess, Bill.

Speaker 7 (14:44):
Jeff, I'd say absolutely one hundred all of the above,
all of the above, all day. It's even if he
was the best controller in the world. I have my
doubts that that he's still with it an agency culture
where it affects everybody. It's a top down problem where
everyone's unforced overtime, everybody's overworked, everybody's under stuff, so we

(15:04):
all feel the effects. So I think DEI absolutely Bill.
Do I think some of the conspiracy theories that have
come out about this being intentional with the helicopter. Absolutely not.
The helicopter was one hundred feet high. That is a
screw up. It's a bad one. It's it's so he
gets an assist in the fault here. But the egregious
mistake is why would that controller make that airplane change

(15:28):
runways knowing he had a helicopter coming right up. It's
called helicopter car it at two and the maximum multitudes
short of feet. You can check me out on that one.
It's all the shots are online and he's he knows
he's there. He turns him wait into it. But the
egregious part is this was the control was mistaken. He's
sitting there playing ketchup, trying to get these guys to
sidestep so he can get better spacing. He's trying to

(15:51):
use that out of the runway because he's allowed them
to all get too close. I mean, this is just
this air drafts of control Era all day, every day.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Bill dynamite. Call Bill. This is your first time calling.

Speaker 9 (16:02):
Time calling Bill.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
Please don't be a stranger. Call again, my friend. What
a call?

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Bill again? Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.
Six one what I tell you, huh, best audience in
the business. Six one seven two six six sixty eight
sixty eight. John in New Hampshire, Thanks for holding John
and welcome.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Hey, Jeff, thank you for taking my call, my pleasure.
My original to say is that thank you guys. Three
weeks ago, as I called. Three weeks ago, I called in.
My brother was in the Pacific Poli saves during that fire.
Do you remember that call?

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Yes, I remember that call. John.

Speaker 10 (16:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
His house and twenty eight houses around him all survived.
He had his father in law house was burned to
the ground, but he had the He had a forethought
to take his heisman trophy and a few other things
and head to Arizona to a friend's place. So he
lost his house, but he got his someone's most valuable

(17:00):
thing and nobody died, so that worked out great.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Knock on wood, that's all that matters.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
Well. Saying that Secondly, you had a caller about the
transsexual that has not been confirmed. But my wife just
called and told me that she said she's around walking,
she's alive and fine. So she was not on that
that flight on the helicopter. But in regards John, that's.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
What that's what Sandy said in my ear as well,
that they're saying, you know, no, she didn't perish in
that flight, that she's you know, she's alive.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
You can see her.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
So and to be fair that people that first were
talking about it said it's a rumor, and they said, look,
there's a rumor that she was on the plane. And
and the moment I hear a rumor, I'm like, I'm
not going to go with it on the air. I mean,
I just I have too much respect for this audience.
But and John, please go ahead finish your last point.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Yeah, the DEI I could not agree more that we
head back to a meritocracy based society. They have destroyed
so much. And listen, you guys, you've been talking about
you can't get served to McDonald's.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Yeah, you're right, No, really, you can't even get served
at McDonald's. Like that's how badly it's infected. So much
of our country and our culture. Mel In Milton, thanks
for holding Mel, and welcome.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
Mel.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Okay, is it mirrored? Does Mel sound like he's like
doing making breakfast or something? Mike, who do you want
me to go to next? Carlos in you Bedford. Thanks
for holding Carlos, and welcome good made.

Speaker 9 (18:39):
And Jeff, I just want to say it's been months
from me for college and I'm always on the road
with the truck, but I just wanted to send out
my deep disconsolanc to see you in the family.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
Oh, thank you, I appreciate it. Thank you, Carlos.

Speaker 9 (18:50):
So it's been month, so the subject, so I dive
tracked the trailer Jeff. And you know I have to
have certain requirements, you know, dot physical cod and all that,
and you know I don't. If I don't off the
tip top shape for pretty much blood pressure and all that,
they'll they'll downgrade my license, you know, down to I
can lose my deal to physical COD. So I wanted

(19:11):
to say this is that you know, when you have
the thumbing down of society, these are the results of
what you get of people doing a job that takes
a lot of a lot of intelligence and the security
of keeping us all safe, you know, whether it's me
being on the road to tract the trailer, uh, you know,

(19:32):
a plane in the air. Obviously that what the results
of what just happened. So to have people thinking that
you could have the minimum amount of people or not
having the right amount of people inside a tower watching
watching over us, you know, it goes to show you
that as a society, we're breaking down, and and it

(19:56):
scans me to no end that this won't stop. And
you know, we're lucky that this tragedy didn't happen before.
So for Trump to come out and uh, you know,
have his deep as sympathies for these people, and then
having a liberal station that I listened to down in
in my area with the host talking about how he

(20:17):
didn't even have empty heat. This guy doesn't have any empathy.
It's really frightening to see these people going to just
keep digging on this man and we're not going to
get anywhere with this. Jeff, you know so well, I
don't know way regard me.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Let me ask you this because to me, you're the
equivalent of a pilot or an air traffic controller, because
you're handling a lot of goods. Uh, it's a big haul.
You've you've got multiple pieces, multiple parts. You've got to
be alert, you've got to be aware, you've got to
be smart, you've got to be able to multitask. And
it's a lot of pressure. It's a lot of pressure.

(20:53):
Could someone, you know, could someone do your job paralyzed,
seriously totally paralyzed, but someone do your job with no feet,
no hands? Could someone do your job with severe intellectual
disabilities or severe psychiatric problems. I'm just curious if they

(21:14):
were hiring attractor trailer drivers and saying we want these
kinds of people with these kinds of disabilities, what would happen?

Speaker 4 (21:23):
Carlos fill out?

Speaker 9 (21:28):
You know, when you go to the dentist, you get
although do you have this this you know asthma? You
have to I have to fill that out and be
truthful with it. So there's there's no way around it
where somebody like that would be able to drive a vehicle.
But Jeff, there are also these people are crazy they're
actually thinking about and it's the only way this could
work is out in the Midwest where you have open rows.

(21:49):
But for truck for drug for trucks, tractor trailers to
be No, no, non mean, okay, we just drive my computer.
I don't.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
I mean this crazy.

Speaker 9 (22:00):
It's craziness where we are. And Jeff, you said about
Wendy's and all you guys showing you about Jeff, I
have to literally go back to today for a wheel
alignment that I paid for two weeks ago that wasn't done.

Speaker 7 (22:13):
Probably he was.

Speaker 9 (22:14):
Done in ten minutes. By the time he brought it
in and brought it back out, he was done at
ten fifteen minutes. I'm like, how is this even possible? Jeff,
I used to work on vehicles. They tell you it
takes a least a half hour forty minutes to get
everything correct. It's the problem is that everybody's in a
rush to make the mighty dollar and to save a buck.
That is the problem, everybody going out for that dollar,

(22:35):
but also to save a buck and to cut any safety.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
Oh, you're a and sloppiness, you know.

Speaker 9 (22:41):
I agree with you, carl correct with no pride, with
no pride.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
No pride, exactly, no pride. I'm so with you, Carlos
Dine on my call. Please stay safe on the road,
my friend, and thank you very much. Six one seven
two six six, sixty eight, sixty eight. Okay, Arthur and Lunenburg,
thanks for holding Arthur go oh, I tell we wanted to,

(23:06):
you know, thank the Lord. It was clean whatever was
going on there, it was clean because you could hear
Arthur and I don't know if he's with his wife
or his partner or girlfriend or whatever. Tom in Plymouth, Tom,
I've got two minutes.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
The floor is yours.

Speaker 10 (23:27):
Go, Thanks a lot, Jeff, Hey, I get a I'm
looking at a pattern here of lack of budget so
you can't hire it to Department of Transportation, where's the
money going illegals? How much money I think they're spending
on illegals? And Department of Transportation. Now you go to

(23:48):
the hurricanes in North Carolina, they can't afford, you know,
to do any relief from FEMA. Where's the money going illegals?
Now you go to the fires in California, they don't
have any money because it's all going to the illegals. So,
in addition to the DEI and confidence, there's a lack
of a budget, so they can't staff. They can't staff

(24:11):
for two reasons. One, you can't find you know, these creeps.
They're looking forward DEI, until you don't have the money
because it's all going to illegals.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Oh, there's a great point. It's a budget. No, as
you're right, it's draining the budget. I mean it's draining
the budget of every department, every agency. And then they complain,
they go, well, we don't have enough money to fill
these slots. Well maybe if you didn't flood the country
with forty million illegals. I mean, I know it's twenty

(24:41):
under Biden, but overall we've got forty million illegal aliens.
I mean, Tom, who can sustain this? And this is
Trump's argument, He goes, We're going to go bankrupt. We're
going to go broke, like forget it. If we don't
deal this, If we don't deal with this, we can't
deal with anything else. At Tom, very very quickly, we

(25:02):
got about less than a minute. Are you afraid or
worried about flying? Now that you hear what the FAA
has been doing for the last four years?

Speaker 10 (25:13):
You know I'm not because I've flown my whole life everywhere.
But what bothers me is, like you were saying earlier,
I can't stand the inconvenience, in the lack of service.
It's just disgusting, you know. So I you know, I
just went down on New Jersey to a wedding. You know,
it's about a five hour ride. I drove it because
you know, if I went end to end and looked

(25:33):
at how long it would take, it would be probably
seven hours, you know, just waiting out well then waiting
at Newark. So I'm starting to drive, you know, you know,
up to like five six hours.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Tom, That's what I'm doing, and honestly, that's what many
Americans are doing. Tom, great way to end the show.
Thank you very much for that call.
