Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning, Cooner contry. Okay, my friends, I never in
my entire life thought that these words would be coming
out of my lips. But as I speak to you now,
the United States in Canada are involved in a tariff war,
and in particular the Canadians, led by that woke left

(00:25):
wing idiot forgive me, there's no other word to describe him,
Justin Trudeau has now decided to declare an all out
economic war and boycott against the United States, and if
things are not resolved and resolved quickly, this could be

(00:47):
one of the most damaging actions the Canadian government has
ever taken, and it is taking us down a very
dark road. This has shocked not just the United States,
not just Canada, but the entire world. So here is
now exactly what is taking place. As you know, President

(01:09):
Trump for a year campaigned on the fact that he
was going to impose a twenty five percent tariff on
Canada and Mexico unless they finally resolved the crisis at
both our southern and northern borders. In November, after he won,

(01:31):
he reiterated that unless we secure both our southern and
northern flank from the flow of fentanyl drugs and illegal immigration,
he will have no choice but to impose a twenty
five percent tariff. Now the Canadians I'm gonna take I'm

(01:53):
gonna get to Mexico in a second. The Canadians, led
by Justin Trudeau, have known about this for a year.
They were told in November it's coming. Finally. If you remember,
Justin Trudeau finally flew down tomorrow lago after Trump was
now president elect, and groveled begging him to not impose

(02:17):
the tariff, where he famously said to Trump, if you
impose a twenty five percent tariff, it will destroy and
ruin the Canadian economy, to which Trump responded, you mean
to tell me your country can't handle a twenty five
percent tariff, that your country is finished if we impose

(02:39):
a twenty five percent tariff. Trudeau said yes, and that's
when Trump from that point on has been trolling Justin Trudeau, saying,
if you can't handle a twenty five percent tariff, then
maybe you should become the fifty first state of the
United States. And he's been calling Justin Trudeau, you know,
the governor of can Canada. Well, on Saturday, Trump finally said, okay,

(03:08):
I warned you I warned you, and I warned you,
and on Saturday night he imposed a twenty five percent
across the board tariff on all Canadian imports into the
United States, as well as all Mexican imports into the

(03:29):
United States. This hits both Canada and Mexico, with an
additional ten percent tariff imposed on China on top of
the tariffs we already have on China that Trump imposed
in his first administration and kept by Biden. Now an
extra ten percent. I'll get to the Mexican and the

(03:54):
Chinese response, but the one that has stunned everybody is
the Canadian response. Justin Trudeau held a major press conference
in front of the entire international media in which he
declared punishing retaliatory tariffs on one hundred and fifty five

(04:16):
billion dollars. That's Canadian money on goods, one hundred and
seven billion in American American money across the board, and
in particular, Justin Trudeau said his strategy is to now
hit the Red States in America. Oranges and orange juice

(04:39):
from Florida, bourbon and whiskey from Kentucky, household appliances from
South Carolina, beef products from Texas, in other words, he
doesn't want to just hurt Trump. He doesn't want to
just hurt the United States. He wants to hurt conservative

(05:00):
Red States and Trump supporters in particular. And according to him,
he and his fellow Liberals now say they're going to
impose even more tariffs, that they now see this as
a declaration of economic war. And now the Liberal Party
in Canada is organizing boycotts across Canada of all US goods.

(05:28):
These are informal boycotts, but they're in British Columbia, in Ontario,
in Quebec. They are now taking down, literally off the
shelves American wine, American beer, American alcohol, American goods. They're
also urging all Liberal supporters in the United States in

(05:51):
Canada to not buy anything American nothing. Don't buy our sneakers,
don't buy our jeans, don't buy our clothes, don't buy
our products, don't buy our vegetables, don't buy a thing.
The Canadians say they have been attacked and they say

(06:14):
now they're going to respond in kind. Listen now to
Justin Trudeau lecture the United States, saying we are now
at economic war with you. Roll cut one, Mike.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Tonight I am announcing Canada will be responding to the
US trade action with twenty five percent tariffs against one
hundred and fifty five billion dollars worth of American goods.
This will include immediate tariffs on thirty billion dollars worth
of goods as of Tuesday, followed by further tariffs on

(06:59):
one hundred and twenty five billion dollars worth of American
products in twenty one day's time, to allow Canadian companies
and supply chains to seek to find alternatives.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
He's an idiot. I'm telling you, the guy's an idiot.
And look, don't even take my own word for it.
The CEO of Canada's second largest biggest company came out
with the statement, okay, shopify. It's the second largest company

(07:30):
in Canada, just behind the Royal Bank of behind the
World Bank of Canada. He came out, Toby Lucky, I
believe is how you pronounced his last name, Lutke. Just
listen to what he said. He went to AG He
went on X and said, Justin Trudeau is responsible for
this trade war. This trade war was so preventable. It's

(07:54):
not even funny. What is Donald Trump asking for? There
is nothing that Trump is asking for that the overwhelming
majority of Canadians, and that any sane Canadian wouldn't agree
to to stop drugs and fentanyl from pouring across the
northern border into the United States, to stop illegals pouring

(08:18):
from Canada into the United States. Now, yes, obviously, the
problem on the northern border is nowhere near the magnitude
as the problem on the southern border. There's no question
most of the fentanyl coming into our country is coming
in through the southern border through Mexico. Most of the
illegals pouring into our country are through the southern border

(08:42):
through Mexico. It's obvious, but the fact is some are
coming in through the Canadian border. Now, Justin Trudeau would
rather have invaders come into our country through his country.
Justin Trudeau would rather have cocaine and fentanyl and another illicit,

(09:07):
dangerous drugs continue to come into the United States. The
simple answer to this is We're gonna seal and secure
that border. This is what Trump can't believe. And instead
of solving the problem, instead of saying, you know what, yeah,
Trump is right, we do have fentanyl coming in, we

(09:31):
do have illegals that are abusing a candidate to come
into the United States, by the way, some of them terrorists. Okay,
but let that go. They refuse to lift a finger. Instead,
they send their foreign minister, Melanie Jolie is her name.
And now with these stupid charts, like we're in the

(09:52):
sixth grade and these diagrams and charts about how you know,
the problem at the Mexican border is much more serious
than the problem at the northern border. Why are you
picking on Canada, but we're trying to do something to
help stem the flow of the drugs and the people
coming in from the northern side. Just fix the problem, man,

(10:17):
Just secure the freaking northern border. It's not rocket science. Instead,
Justin Trudeau and his Liberal Party, dropping like a stone
in the polls, would rather use this issue of anti Americanism,

(10:41):
anti Trumpism, and even if it means a completely destructive,
devastating trade war, not so much from our end. We
can shrug off these tariffs, but the ones that are
really going to pay the price is going to be
Canadians and Canada Okay, just very quickly, so listen now
to Justin Trudeau. He has now again Canada's Prime minister. Now,

(11:07):
many of you are texting the cooner man saying, well,
didn't he resign Jeff, Yes, he's on his way out
the door. However, there's a leadership race for the Liberal
Party of Canada and that will be decided in March,
and whoever becomes the winner, who's ever the winner of
that leadership race, will then succeed and replace Justin Trudeau.

(11:28):
So I want you to think about this. You've got
a lame duck prime minister with about maybe five six
weeks left to go before he's out with, as I said,
a foot already out the door, and he's now leading
Canada's economic war and trade war against the United States,

(11:49):
the trade war that I'm telling you he's responsible for. Ultimately,
he could have prevented this. I mean, you want to
talk about mad This is madness now from the Canadian side.
These tariffs that Trump has imposed could trigger a major

(12:11):
recession both in Canada and in Mexico. But if they
continue to go down this road, it could lead to serious,
serious economic destruction and economic damage for the Canadian economy.
And there will be fallout here in the United States.
There's no question, nowhere near as bad as Canada. But

(12:34):
there will be serious fallout here. There's no doubt there.
Our second biggest trading partner, Mexico is our biggest, Canada
is our second biggest. So listen now to Justin Trudeau saying,
not only are we now responding with a retaliatory twenty
five percent tariff against one hundred and fifty five billion

(12:56):
dollars worth of American goods, not only we launch a boycott,
We're not gonna buy anything American. In fact, we're taking
stuff off the shelves. But we're gonna hit you where
it hurts you the most, especially in Red States. Roll
cut one. A mic.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Our response will also be far reaching and include everyday
items such as American beer, wine and bourbon, fruits and
fruit juices, including orange juice, along with vegetables, perfume, clothing,
and shoes. It'll include major consumer products like household appliances, furniture,

(13:41):
and sports equipment, and materials like lumber and plastics, along
with much much more.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Now again, Jeff, why this obsession would orange juice? You know,
like what Canadians have a thing about orange juice? No Florida.
He wants to hurt Florida. It's a deliberate it's a
big red state. It's a stronghold for Trump. Hurt Florida, Bourbon,
hurt Kentucky. You mentioned him, say, household appliances, most of
them are made in South Carolina. Hurt South In other words,

(14:12):
hurt red state after red state after red state. So
listen now to Trudeau. He now, in a condescending fashion,
all but threatens the United States, lecturing us saying, you
think we're gonna pay the price, You're gonna pay a price,

(14:34):
and you're gonna rue the day that you dare impose
twenty five percent tariffs on US roll cut two.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Mike, I want to speak directly to Americans, our closest
friends and neighbors. This is a choice that yes, will
harm Canadians, but beyond that it will have real consequence
is for you, the American people. As I have consistently said,

(15:06):
tariffs against against Canada will put your jobs at risk,
potentially shutting down American auto assembly plants and other manufacturing facilities.
They will raise costs for you, including food at the
grocery store and gas at the pump. They will impede
your access to an affordable supply of vital goods crucial

(15:30):
for US security, such as nickel, potash, uranium, steel, and aluminum.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
I mean, it's a not right threat. That's the way.
What he's saying is, if you're gonna have no uranium,
if you're gonna have no steel, you're gonna We're gonna
cripple your US military security. We are gonna damage you economically.
We're gonna shut down your auto plants if we can.
We're gonna do everything possible to lay siege to you,

(16:02):
supposedly our best friend and neighbor, all because you don't
want to secure your north I guess your southern border
up in Canada, I guess you know. But because you
don't want to secure the northern border, because what you
don't want to stop the fentanel from coming in. You
don't want to stop the illegals from coming in? What

(16:23):
they mean that much to you? This is unbelieved. This
is madness. I'm telling you, this is madness. Now let
me ask you. I want to set the table. What
do you make of Trump's decision to impose a twenty
five percent tariff across the board on Canada, on Mexico,

(16:44):
with an additional ten percent tariff on China. Do you
agree with President Trump's decision, and what do you make
Mexico is responding just like Canada, but it's the way
the Canadians come out so aggressively that as I think,
shocked not just everyone here in the United States, but

(17:07):
frankly around the world. And so my question now to you,
we are now essentially at economic war, or to be
more accurate, Canada has declared economic war on the United States.
What should America do? Trump now says that if Canada
goes through with these retaliatory tariffs, and they will, the

(17:30):
tariff is going to go up even higher. He said,
I'm telling you, if they do this, it's going to
go from twenty five to thirty five, and if you
keep going, it's going to hit fifty. In other words,
Trump is saying, I will not be intimidated, I will
not be bullied, I will not back down. So this

(17:51):
has the potential now to become an all out economic
and trade war with God forbid, no end in sight.
My prediction, I think Canada will eventually fold because yes,
they can hurt us, but we can destroy them. But
is this really worth it? Because Canada just won't secure

(18:14):
its northern border, six they won't secure our northern border
to be more accurate. Six one seven two six six
sixty eight sixty eight is the number. Okay, it's a
tariff war. Who do you blame and what do you
think will happen? Six one seven two six six sixty

(18:35):
eight sixty eight. Trump versus Trudeau? Who do you support?
Which side are you on? President Trump, now, as he's
been saying for a year now, finally said enough is enough.
This weekend imposed a twenty five percent across the board
tariff on all imports all goods coming in from both

(18:56):
Canada and Mexico, and at ten percent tariff, an extra
ten percent tariff on China. Canada's response is to declare
economic war on the United States. My advice to Justin Trudeau,
don't bring a hockey stick to a gunfight. It's not

(19:19):
going to turn out well for you. But that's me
Barbara in Maryland. Thanks for holding Barbara, and welcome.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
The morning, Jeff, and thanks for taking my call. Right
after bat I'd like to say this America, This United
States has been trading with Canada for zero terarriffs, and
we have been paying them tariffs all these years. Our
tarriffs are the retaliatory terriffs, and yes, Justin will lose.

(19:51):
He will lose this war. You can't. And you know
what he's saying is just because we want to stop
our border, close our border. Well, yes, we want to
close border. We're overrun with illegals and drugs and a
lot of other things coming across that border, and he's
not doing anything about it. But we haven't been charging them. Talis,
I didn't know that. I did not know that. So

(20:13):
he needs to shut the front door and take it.
That's it, because Trump is gonna do it. And the
thing that really upsets me about us conservatives, as soon
as the fake news starts sound in the alarm, which
they will be doing for the next four years, people
get used to it. Donald Trump knows what he's doing.

(20:37):
We voted him in because we thought he knew We
knew what he was doing. So let him do his job,
let him get it done, give him his cabinet and
let him roll and not criticize him all the way.
Let the fake news do it.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
We love him, Barbara. I agree. Look, I think these
TIFFs are long overdue. As I said on X last night,
You're completely right. Canada has been taking advent other countries,
but where I'm just focusing on Canada now. Canada has
been taking advantage of us now for many, many years,
and I'm gonna get to this later. You're not people

(21:11):
are not gonna believe the kind of tariffs that Canada
has been imposing on us for years. Two hundred a
two hundred and seventy percent tariff on milk as an
American milk as an example, two hundred and fifty percent
on American butter, two hundred and forty one percent on

(21:32):
American cheese. I can go on and on, so let
me get this straight. You can you know, Canada can
impose these massive tariffs to protect their dairy industry or
to protect you know, to protect their beef industry, or
to protect their lumber industry, or but Trump turns around

(21:53):
and says, no, this, this arrangement is not working out
like it used to. I'm not happy with this, and
all of a sudden, he's the bad guy for twenty
five percent when they've been doing two hundred and seventy percent.
So all the trade surpluses that Canada's had over the years,
and Barbara, as I pointed out on X, we subsidize

(22:15):
Canada's entire military. Canada is in NATO. They never meet
their military their minimum NATO requirement three percent GDP that
you got to spend on your military. So we protect Canada,
we defend Canada, we subsidize Canada. Hey, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
You know a.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Friendship is a two way street. This you know you
can they keep abusing us and taking advantage of us,
and finally now they're crying when we say enough is enough.
We're not going to be taken advantage of anymore. Final
word to you, Barbara, agree, disagree?

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Better?

Speaker 4 (22:56):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (22:57):
Dada is the message, that is the message, and thank
you because they have been taken advantage of us and
it's time for all of that to end. And not
only taking advantage of us, but allowing illegals and drugs
and also mess labs are right across that border, lots
of them in Canada because there's so much wilderness there,

(23:17):
so clean it up.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
Justin That's all I got to say.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Amen, thank you, amen, Amen, Let me ask all of you. Look,
you know where I stand on this issue. I'm with
Trump on this all the way, all the way, Okay,
all the way, but just to play devil's advocate. I
want to ask all of you, this is the Canadian argument,
and it's it's not just the government, the left wing government.

(23:42):
Many Canadians are making this argument that so much of
our illegal immigration comes through Mexico, very much less very
They say one percent comes in through Canada, that most
of the fentanyl and the drugs comes in through Mexico.
They go about one percent if less, comes in through Canada.

(24:05):
So their argument is, we understand you want to go
after Mexico. We understand why you want to go after
China because China, for example, makes the fentanyl that is
then shipped to the Mexican drug cartels who then send
it right up to southern border. But they're like, look,
it's infinitismally much smaller what's coming in from the northern
border than what's coming in from the southern border. So

(24:27):
why are you hitting us as hard as the Mexicans
and the Chinese? This is their argument. What say you?
I'm just curious six one seven two six six sixty
eight sixty eight. Dane in South Dakota. Thanks for holding Dane,
and welcome.

Speaker 5 (24:49):
And morning Jeff. Yes, so listen, you know, justin to
dope which he is should really take.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
The Dane, can you hold on one second? Something? Just
hopping with your phone? Uh? And literally you sound like,
you know, like a kidnapper where they use those voice
machines to sound like, you know, joshin trude though. You know,
so let me see if we can reconnect, Dane. Do
we have a better connection?

Speaker 6 (25:19):
Can you hear me?

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Now?

Speaker 6 (25:20):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Much better? You sound like a normal human being.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
Go ahead, Well you know you got the NSA always
listening on us. So but anyway, listen. Uh just in
true dope, a real true dope in a sense. Uh,
you know, the the pacifier that they took out of
his mouth, they call him binkies. I think, yes, here's
here's here's the thing. Really what should happen? Uh?

Speaker 4 (25:42):
You want to you want to?

Speaker 5 (25:43):
You want to go to war? Okay, I think one
hundred percent with President Trump. First of all, let's put
a not only a tariff on the goods coming in
from Canada. Let's put a tourists tariff every person goes
in traveling to uh Canada, a terraf every person coming out.

(26:05):
Really put the s cruise to him because he deserves it.
This guy is a is just he doesn't even know
what he's doing. He's so incompetent. It's just disgusting. And
also the truckers, the truckers are with America, the freedom
truckers who started in Canada. They should come alive again
along with the truckers here. I went all the way

(26:26):
across the country with the truckers when they went all
the way across the country to DC, and I saw
what they did to us in d DC, and they
need to band together and then show in Solidary and
say listen, we're not we're not shipping anything in there
and we're not shipping anything out that he has to
really play some chest here and and put the screws

(26:49):
to Justin Trudeau. This this is disgusting. Uh, well, we've
been to this Canadian people. The Canadian people are good people,
and I don't think the majority of them, just like
in California, there's really more. But see, they use the
same voting machines, crupt voting systems, and this is what happens.

(27:11):
You end up getting people like him through illegal voting
and voting illegal machines, and this is what happens. So
I think we need to correct it there.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Well, Dane Look, you're right on every point, every single point. Look,
the majority of Canadians can't stand him. That's why he
was forced out of office or he's going to be.
He's basically, you know, politically dead man walking. So they
hate him. The majority of Canadians don't want this economic
trade war. They love Americans, they love America. They consider

(27:42):
us to be their neighbors, their best friends, almost family, frankly,
so they don't want this. No, these are the radical
leftists in Trudeau's government. And remember Trudeau is a globalist,
just like Biden was a globalist, and he's taking he
Remember he's a member. Justin Trudeau is a member of
the World Economic Forum. So this is Klaus Schwab, this

(28:06):
is the new world order, and this is George Soros
and what they're telling him, just like they told Biden,
burn it all down. You're out, you're halfway. You know,
you're got one foot out the door. Like Biden. Look
at the dam. I know he did tremendous damage in
his four years, but the last couple months of his administration,
look at the damage and the havoc he inflicted. That's

(28:30):
what Justin Trudeau is now doing. Basically just burn it off,
scorched earth. Just you know what if I'm if I'm
gonna leave burn it all down, And so he wants
to undermine and sabotage Trump. That's his goal. And if
it means blowing up the Canadian economy and doing tremendous

(28:51):
economic damage to the United States and the process, who cares.
Because he's serving his globalist paymasters. Justin Trudeau is a
trader to Canada. He is in bed with the globalists.
That's why he wanted this economic war. That's why he's
unleashed this economic war. Thank you very much as always,

(29:13):
Dame for that call. Six one seven two six six
sixty eight, sixty eight is the number, okay, just very
very quick, so that this is how bad this could
end up for Canada in some ways, for the United States,
but especially for Canada if they continue now expanding and

(29:34):
intensifying this economic trade war that to me clearly was
launched by Justin Trudeau. The Canadian media is feverishly trying
to blame Trump and they've now turned him into the
second coming of Adolf Hitler. The propaganda that's coming now
from the Canadian media is beyond disgusting. You've got now fans,

(29:58):
hockey fans in Ottawa, in Calgary, in Montreal, in Toronto
booing the American national anthem, the Toronto Raptors, the basketball
team NBA team, there was a game and the fans
booing the American national anthem. And this is about hating Trump.

(30:20):
This is about blaming Trump. This is all about trying
to mask that pathetic government's failures and disastrous mismanagement and
trying now to pin it on Trump. It is so
bad for the Canadians if this tariff war continues. Nearly

(30:42):
half listen out of this. Nearly half of all Canadian
businesses now say that they will relocate their investment or
their production to America if this trade war continues for
several more months. Basically, the Canadian economy is going to implode.

(31:11):
It's going to be an economic disaster. And instead of saying,
holy mackerel, let's pull back from the brink, guys, it
doesn't cost us that much. Let's secure our border with
the United States. Let's make sure illegals don't cross into

(31:33):
the United States, especially in places like Vermont and Maine
and upstate New York, which is where a lot of
them are coming in. And let's cut off that fentanyl
trade cold, absolutely cold, No, justin Trudeau refuses to do anything. Now,

(31:54):
remember this fentanyl is coming in from communist China. Trudeau
is in bed with the communist Chinese. Is this the
reason why he won't allow them to come in? Sorry,
he keeps allowing the fentanel to come in and he
won't he won't secure that border because the Chinese have
told him not to. Whatever the reason is, These Canadians,

(32:21):
that Canadian leaders up there are going absolutely apoplectic, and
they have no one to blame but themselves. And if
they don't watch it, they're gonna see half of their industries,
half of their businesses, half of their major employers just
pick up and leave. They're playing Russian Roulette. And if

(32:47):
I were them, don't do it because you just may
blow your brains out. Agree, disagree six one seven two
six six sixty eight sixty eight. So let me put
this on the table. President Trump, in a post on
truth Social said this may actually cause Americans some pain.

(33:07):
He said, this trade war with Canada, with Mexico, with China,
this may lead to higher food prices, temporarily gas prices
at the pomp uh. He says, there will be some
short term economic pain, but in the long run it
will be worth it. Do you agree with President Trump

(33:28):
and are you willing to absorb in the short term
higher gas prices, higher food prices, higher electricity prices in
order to stop Canada, Mexico and China from taking advantage
of the United States six one seven two six six
sixty eight sixty eight Russ in Boston, thanks for holding

(33:54):
Russ and welcome.

Speaker 4 (33:57):
Dren is an idiot? Do is wake up a sleeping
economic giant? And I'll say that again, just like in
when When When when Japan bomb pro Habu and in
the the uh the then't the admiral said all maybe
all we've done is wake up is sleeping giant? Right, yeah, yes, yes,

(34:21):
very good, Jeff, Jeff, I wish I had your retentative memory.
That's all I can say, Buddy, I honest I admire
you for that and so many other reasons. Okay, now
we will ultimately win a trade war. But what gets
me is scumbags like Chuck Schuma is saying, well, now
pay more for pizza during the Super Bowl. Okay, that

(34:42):
you know it's gonna be our Trump's fault. I'm gonna
have to pay more. Okay, But what gets me again,
Jeff is gullible. Democrats believe this propaganda. And Jeff, you
know last Tuesday at six thirty you asked will people
see through propagand or about deporting criminals? Believe me, they

(35:03):
cannot see through propaganda. And I must say this well
that sincerity. I have liberal relatives, liberal friends, and liberal acquaintances.
And if I thought for one minute that I could
change their minds, then I wouldn't need a psychiatrist.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Russ. I want to ask you because obviously you're a
very intelligent, longtime observer of the political scene. Canadians are angry.
Many of them are furious. I don't just mean the government.
For example, my wonderful sister in law, she's a wonderful woman,
don't get me wrong, but you know, she watches the
CBC that basically Canada's version of the BBC. She's listening

(35:44):
to the Canadian media and she called up Grace yesterday
and she said, what are you guys doing to us? Grace,
what are you talking about? She said, these tariffs, it's
like an economic attack. That's what that's Lily, that's what
she said, what did we do to deserve this? And
so she saying Canadians feel hurt, they feel betrayed, they

(36:08):
don't know. I'm just this is what she's saying, what
did we do to deserve this? And so there's so
much anger and fury that's now being fomented by the media.
What do you say to the argument, Russ that Canadians say,
we've been your best friends, your closest allies, we go

(36:31):
back one hundred and fifty years together. We don't we
should not be treated like Mexico and China, that this is,
in their words, a punch in the face.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
What say you, Jeff, I don't care whether half a
ton that's coming in or one hundred tons of fentanyl
from the Canadian border. It has to be stopped, period. Okay,
so please don't tell me that you know, we're not
shipping as much as Mexico. That's a lame argument. But

(37:02):
always remember one thing. Trudeau is another Joe Biden. He's incompetent, okay,
but his party, you know, they control propaganda in Canada
just like it's controlled here, and there are a lot
of people that are just totally ignorant. But Jeff I
want to say this, when you turn around and say

(37:22):
companies are going to come back here. You know, I
have very close friends of mine. They live in Brampton,
which is just north of Toronto. There was a giant
Chrysler plant there, okay. And what really amazed me my
friends only live about maybe half a mile from it,
and on the main road. They built a beautiful burn

(37:44):
And what's interesting you cannot see behind the broom that
there's actually a factory there. And what a very clever
way to take commercial property in buffer it to a
residential area. So when you say that, I think that
Chrysler and many other companies that if they come down here,
Remember when they come down here, we will benefit by

(38:04):
it because the employee is going to be paying at
least thirty percent tax. They're going to be creating more jobs.
That's going to keep other people working, okay, and we
will benefit it by it. And the one thing really
that gets me, Jeff, you know, I don't mind crap
being made from China, okay, but the fact that we

(38:25):
share that technology with them is criminal. Between the scumbag
politicians and the scumback corporate greed bustards. Remember one thing,
greed is a cruel master. And I'm sick and tired
the greedy busters that will do anything they could care
less about this country. Okay, And you look at that

(38:46):
SLB Mark Cuban, Okay on shock tank. If you turn
around and you're not going to manufacture the United States,
he won't invest in you. And that's kind of a
scumbag that he is. With a lot of other scumbag Russ.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
I saw agree. Oh you're on fire today, Russ. Russ,
thank you very very much for that call.

Speaker 6 (39:06):
No.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
Look, look to me, China is obvious and never mind, Okay,
there's so many arguments we can make on China. You
know him as well as I do. Okay, But they're
stealing our intellectual property. They've been stealing our jobs. They've
been dumping their goods and products in the United States
for decades. They are helping to traffic fentanyl. They make

(39:28):
it in China and then they ship it to the
cartels who then send it through the southern border. So
and you know, and never mind what they did to
us during COVID. To me a ten percent tiraff that's
a slap on the wrist. Frankly, Okay, to what they
should be getting. So to me, China, that goes without saying, Mexico,

(39:49):
who are they kidding? How many jobs have they stolen
from us? And then the other thing that they're doing,
and this is what Trump's arguing, and he's completely right.
What they're doing now is the Mexican government is partnering
with the Chinese, the communist Chinese, and they're inviting Chinese
state communist companies to buy up Mexican companies and then

(40:15):
make the goods in Mexico but they're really Chinese goods
and backdoor them into the United States, avoiding the tariff.
And Trump is saying, no, that's not the purpose of
the free trade agreement. The purpose of the free trade
agreement was for Mexican goods to be sold in the
American market, not for Chinese goods through the back door.

(40:40):
And so we saying again, you keep taking advantage of
our generosity. Now, look, you've done very well under NAFTA,
and now this you know, the US, the Mexico US
Mexico Canada free Trade Deal. And you can't stop all
these illegals coming in you want them to come in.
You can't stop all this fentom from coming in. You

(41:00):
want him to come in. So if you're a narco
state and you're bowing to the communist Chinese and you're
bowing to the Mexican drug cartels, well I'm sorry. This
is not a suicide pact, and I'm gonna not just
secure the border. I'm gonna hit you guys with a
massive tariff. So you guys do your job on your end.

(41:23):
He's completely right on every score. He's completely right. Now.
As for Canadians, this thing could end today. Really, this thing,
this this doesn't have to cost you a penny. The
tariff just started Saturday night. All you gotta do is
have justin Trudeau say you know what, we're on it.

(41:45):
We're gonna end all the fentanyl labs. We're gonna crack
down on all these drug drug trafficking coming in across
your border. We're gonna end all illegal migration. We're gonna
secure that border on our side one hundred percent. Here's
the plan of action, here's the people in personnel. We're
gonna implement it. Donald, let's sit down and sign a deal.

(42:08):
This thing is over in twenty four hours. Instead, these
idiots are going on. I'm not kidding. He wants just
to be the fifty first state. The media up there
is inflaming Canadians so much they honestly think we're poised
to invade them. I swear to you you should see

(42:28):
the emails I'm getting from Canadians. You know, you Trump bastards,
you mega, you maga Nazis. We'll fight.

Speaker 7 (42:37):
I swear We'll fight you in the streets, will fight you.

Speaker 1 (42:42):
I'm like, you think we care enough to send the
US Marines to invade Canada? Are you guys all on
drugs up there? Relax? Hey, relax, it's a twenty five
percent tariff, and ask yourself why is Trump imposing at

(43:03):
twenty five percent tariff? Hmmm hmm. Could it be that
he has a reason for it. The way they're selling
it up there is that this was a unilateral attack,
economic attack by Trump for no reason, just that he's

(43:26):
a bully. That's what the that's what Trudeau is peddling,
that's what his government is peddling, and that's what the
media is parroting.

Speaker 7 (43:35):
Evil Trump. He just attacked us because he could, that's it.
He just he wants us under his thumb. I'm like,
oh my god, are you people stupid. Seriously, would it
kill you to read a newspaper? Would it kill you
to just go on the internet for five seconds and
read a statement from the White House? In fact, here

(43:57):
listen now to President Trump. So, oh, this is him
at Andrews Air Force Base. Now that Canada.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Has issued or imposed these retaliatory sweeping tariffs basically economic war,
will you retaliate and increase your tariffs from twenty five
to I don't know thirty five forty percent. Listen to
Trump's response, roll cut four, Mike, bring the parac.

Speaker 8 (44:32):
Against Canada, Well, it could happen. If they do anything,
we will. Canada has been very abusive of the United
States for many years.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
They don't allow our banks.

Speaker 8 (44:42):
And you know that Canada does not allow banks to
go in. If you think about it, that's pretty amazing.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
If we have a US.

Speaker 8 (44:49):
Bank, they don't allow them to go in. Canada has
been very tough on oil and energy.

Speaker 7 (44:54):
They don't allow.

Speaker 5 (44:55):
Our farm products in.

Speaker 8 (44:56):
Essentially, they don't allow a lot of things, and we
allow everything to come. And it's been a one way street.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
He's completely right, by the way, they have the toughest
banking regulations in the world. It's all Canadian banks they
do not allow to be fair. They don't allow any
other banks. It's not just American banks, you know, British banks,
German banks, European banks. Only Canadian banks now here, TD Bank, Toronto, Dominion.

(45:25):
I see them everywhere. Canadian banks can compete in the
American market, but why can't our banks compete in the
Canadian market? Now? He mentioned that the farm products, remember
I mentioned cheese, butter, milk, two hundred and seventy percent tariff,
two hundred and fifty percent tariff, two hundred and forty
percent tariff. That's why Trump says the tariffs are so

(45:48):
high and so massive and so punitive. He goes, essentially,
they're not allowing our farm products in. I mean, technically yes,
but they're such a massive Tariffy, who's gonna who's gonna
buy our milk at a two hundred and seventy percent
tariff It's impossible. What is it? Twenty five bucks a gallon?
So essentially they're so we don't even bother selling it.

(46:10):
They're like, what's the point They're gonna get it with
a two hundred and seventy percent tariff, but even bother
putting it on the truck. So this is why Trump
is saying, yeah, we're friends, but friendship is not a
one way straight, it's a two way street. Let me
play one more and then go right to the phone calls.
Six months. By the way, a couple lines are open

(46:30):
six one seven two six, six, sixty eight sixty eight.
Now this is really the key point. If you look
at all the trade surpluses that Canada's had with us,
if you look at how we subsidize their military, if
you look at how economically we allow them to constantly

(46:52):
take advantage of us for decades, we subsidize Canada roughly
to the tune of two hundred to two hundred and
fifty billion dollars a year. And Trump saying it's time
to end the Canadian gravy train. This mayle Leef gravy

(47:14):
train is got to come to an end. So, yes,
we want free trade, but we want fair trade, and
we want to see a relationship now that's based on equality, fairness,
and frankly, mutual respect. In other words, this old mafia

(47:36):
syndicate that Canada and Mexico have been running, where they
keep squeezing us and taking advantage of us. Those days
are over. We want a new arrangement, one that benefits
US and Canada and Mexico world cut for a Mike.

Speaker 8 (47:56):
We subsidize Canada by the tune of about two hun
undred billion dollars a year, and for what what.

Speaker 5 (48:03):
Do we get out of it? We don't get anything
out of it.

Speaker 8 (48:05):
I love the people of Canada. I disagree with the
leadership of Canada and something's gonna happen there.

Speaker 5 (48:13):
But if they want.

Speaker 1 (48:14):
To play the game, I don't mind. We can play
the game all they want. In other words, okay, he's
telling them, Look, I know you're gonna hurt us. These
tariffs are gonna hurt us, but they're gonna kill you.
We can absorb these blows. You can't. So you really
want to do this, You really want to go down

(48:35):
the road of economic suicide. And what it's gonna do.
This is my fear. It is going to tear this
relationship apart. This is what Justin Trudeau and those woke
leftists in Ottawa, O, hey, the capital of Canada. This
is what they don't understand. They're using it for domestic

(48:56):
purposes to inflame anti Americans. Sent them in thinking it's
going to help them in the election. But I'm telling
you this could do irreparable damage and the Canadian left
and the Trudeau regime is playing with fire. Six one
seven two six six sixty eight sixty eight agree, disagree.

(49:20):
Vance in South Boston. Thanks for holding Vance and welcome.

Speaker 6 (49:26):
Oh I am. I want to report some of the
kid that's very important regarding the China and the fentanyl situation.
I've sewn many people, the friends and family have died
of fetanyl. I found out last week that after the
Hurricane Helena in North Carolina, there was a major US
manufacturing plant that was that was ruined or they made

(49:47):
IVY bags for hospitals and you know, healthcare centers, surgery centers.
I did more research on it and I found out
so the company that was built that was manufacturing out
of North Carolina decided to get all their manufacturing in
from China. IVY bags coming from China. Think about that.

Speaker 1 (50:10):
That's what I mean. Look this is and Vince, look
you put your finger right on it. This is Trump's argument,
let's leave auside Canada Mexico just for a second. He
wants to end the supply chains from China. I mean,
you mentioned iv bags and you're completely right. We get
we get medicines from China, aspirin from China, Thailand all

(50:34):
from China. We're crazy, Like really, I'm sorry, we're crazy.
Why A The product is garbage and B as you
put it, you can't trust it. And Trump is saying, no,
bring it back home.
