Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, my friends, Holy Chamolei.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Republicans in massive disarray. Good morning Cooner country. All right,
my friends, as you know, the results are in from
the special elections that were held yesterday. Thank the Lord,
Republicans held the two seats they were supposed to win

(00:25):
in Florida, Mike Waltz's old seat and Matt Gates's old seat.
I'm happy they won those seats. They should have won
those seats. That's in red Florida Trump country. But when
it came to the Wisconsin State Supreme Court, the leftist
judge Susan Crawford prevailed. She won, and the conservative Brad

(00:49):
Schimmel lost. And this is going to have ramifications for
the twenty twenty six midterm elections. Now, when I say
Republicans in dis what is remarkable is that whether it's
the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal or
the Washington Post or CNN or Fox News, it doesn't matter.

(01:15):
The establishment corporate media is trying to portray this victory
by Crawford, by the left in Wisconsin as a defeat
for Elon Musk as if somehow and that's how they're
that's literally how they're painting it. Story after story in
a rebuke of Elon. In a defeat for Elon, despite

(01:40):
Elon having spent millions of dollars, the voters of Wisconsin
chose Susan Crawford over his preferred candidate, Brad Schimmel. And
I'm looking at this and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Whoa, who WHOA?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Notice how what they're immediately trying to do is paint
Elon in a bad light.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
He's a loser, his side lost.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
He's the one that's been bloodied by this or for
some reason, bear's responsibility for the defeat, when literally it's
the exact opposite. The only reason why this race was
even fairly close, and it wasn't even that close. She
won fifty five. They're still counting, but basically it's fifty

(02:26):
five to forty five with about two hundred thousand votes
left to be counted, so you know, basically it's a
forty five race. And the only reason why the conservative
judge Brad Schimmel got forty five percent was because of
the efforts by Elon Musk. The Democrats were organized on

(02:49):
this race from the beginning. They knew the implications of
the race and its consequences from the beginning. George Soro
saw it before everyone else saw it, and then he
coordinated with the national leadership with Hakim Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi,
Chuck Schumer, and they went all in and they built

(03:12):
up a huge ground game. They flooded the airwaves with ads,
They painted their opponent as a right wing extremist. They
did everything they usually do. They fearmongered, They got their
side all mobilized and ready to go. And by the
time Elon responded, and he was the only one who

(03:35):
really responded, the cake was baked. As they say, they
were fighting an uphill battle. And so what Elon did
was he turned this into a respectable fight when it
would have been an absolute landslide and route. And my
question is this, where was the RNC, Where were the

(03:59):
House and Senate Republicans? Where was the state Republican Party
in Wisconsin? In other words, the Republican Party again showed
itself to be feckless, ineffective, and frankly useless. And the
only man who stepped up to the plate was Elon Musk,

(04:22):
who happens to be a private citizen. And you're trying
to blame Elon. No, this is a problem, that is
a Republican problem. Republicans don't fight Democrats do. And they
demonstrated it again in this state Supreme Court race that

(04:44):
was easily winnable for Republicans and they kissed it away.
And now here's what's going to happen. The Democrats now
are cheering, they are coming for Trump's majority in the House.
They're liqu their chops. They got redistricting cases now lined
up in front of this now four to three liberal

(05:07):
state Supreme Court in Wisconsin, in which they're going to
jerry mander or redraw the congressional map. And it's going
to no longer be six Republican members of Congress to
two Democrat members of Congress. It's going to be four
Republicans four Democrats. Republicans are going to lose two seats

(05:28):
automatically in the twenty twenty six midterms and the Democrats
are going to win two. And that's practically the majority.
In other words, if everybody holds serve, if everything stays
status quo and Wisconsin just does the jerrymandering, Trump's majority

(05:50):
in the House, the Republican majority in the House is
in serious peril. And Hakim Jeffries, now who is already
telling people in private start calling.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Me, mister speaker.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Already already they're still counting the votes already. The Democrats
are now saying we're going to impeach Trump.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
We impeached him twice the last time.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
They say this time at least three times, one impeachment,
the second impeachment, and the third impeachment. And the only
man who fought was Elon Musk. Again, I don't want
to be a broken record about this, but the guy
who's a private citizen who apparently now is going to

(06:36):
be leaving Doge in about six months because Tesla's stock
is going down, his other businesses are stock is going down,
so he's got to focus on his companies and his
workers and his employees. So the guy that did everything
he could to try to stave off a disaster, he's

(06:59):
the guy I now the media is trying to pin
the blame on. Are you kidding me? And this, my friends,
goes to a deeper problem. It wasn't just a defeat
in Wisconsin yesterday in Congress. You have to hear this
to believe it, okay, because I'm telling you wouldn't believe it.

(07:23):
The Republicans had not one but two bills that they
were going to vote on. One was today and the
other one was tomorrow. And let me ask all of you,
what is the most important issue right now facing Trump
and his Republican majority. It is the efforts by the

(07:47):
Democrats and the radical left to subvert our republic and
subvert our democracy. That they have these district court judges
who have now usurped executive power and are now designating
themselves presidents of the United States. We are now they're

(08:10):
issuing nationwide injunctions, temporary restraining orders. They are blocking every
aspect of Trump's agenda. And so we need a bill
that was going to rein in this out of control,
these out of control activist federal judges. The Republicans had

(08:31):
a beautiful bill lined up that they were supposed to
vote on today that would then go to the Senate
that they could finally rein in restrain control.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
These rogue judges.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
And then what's the other big issue we talked about
it yesterday, rampant voter fraud. The same act was going
to be voted on Thursday, which would require every adult
in this country to provide proof of citizenship in order

(09:11):
to be registered to vote. In other words, and by
the way, it would force every state to purge the
voting roles of all illegal aliens and all non citizens.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Bang.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Bang.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
The Democrats can't steal elections anymore, and the judges can't
stop or block Trump anymore. And instead, what happened. They're
now not going to meet for the rest of the week.
This was yesterday, as I wrote on X I go,
It's only Tuesday, and now they're not going to meet

(09:50):
for the rest of the week. They've postponed the voting
on these two crucial bills at least until next week.
Where every second, every minute, every hour, every day counts.
Why because nine Republicans nine defected to the Democrats two

(10:17):
hundred plus Democrats in order to vote for proxy voting
that means voting remotely for members of Congress, not for
people in the private sector, just members of Congress who
happened to have a baby. And so if they've just

(10:40):
had a baby, six one seven two six, six sixty eight,
sixty eight is the number. Okay, many of you are
texting the Kooner Man emailing messaging Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Okay,
I understand what happened in Wisconsin. Last night with the
state Supreme Court election, the Republican lost, the Democrat one,

(11:02):
the far leftist and what the implications are. And yes,
Republicans again have shown themselves to be useless, feckless, and ineffective.
But what's going on in the House. In other words, Jeff,
there's procedural stuff going on that I don't quite you
know fully grasp.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
So look, let me lay it out.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
You'll take a few minutes, but you'll know exactly what
I'm talking about. Look, it's a it's a clown show.
It's it's an embarrassing clown show. What is now happening
in the House of Representatives. So here is exactly what
took place. There are two major bills that the House Republicans,
under pressure from Trump and under pressure frankly from MAGA

(11:46):
to deliver on one. They were going to vote on
it today, which they're not going to do because they're gone,
literally they've left the whole week now, they're not they're
not spending any time in Congress. They're all back, they're
back at home their home districts. They're they're basically taking
the week off. Okay, So, and I'll tell you why.

(12:08):
So they had one bill to vote on today, and
that was darryl Isa's bill that would rein in these
out of control, rogue activist judges, which Trump desperately needs.
He's got to get this thing through Congress and get
these judges off his back. The second bill, which is
something we've been asking for for years and now, in

(12:31):
the wake of Elon Musk's stunning, bombshell discovery that Joe
Biden has put the Biden regime put at least five
point five million illegal aliens and gave them Social Security
numbers and then registered them to vote, and many of

(12:53):
them did vote. We've got to pass the SAVE Act,
which it's essentially an election integrity bill, and the SAVE
Act requires every person to register every year you have
to prove US citizenship. So in order to register to vote,

(13:16):
you have to provide documentary proof of US citizenship, a passport,
a birth certificate, whatever it may be. And this would
and force states compel states to purge the voting roles
of all illegal aliens and all non citizens. So it would,

(13:39):
let's put it this way, dramatically reduce and decrease illegal
voting in the United States and voter fraud, which is
rampant in the United States. They were going to vote
on that on Thursday tomorrow. So why aren't they, Jeff, Jeff,

(14:00):
it's the problem. Well, Anna Paulina Luna a rising superstar
in the MAGA movement, and normally I like her, I
agree with her on ninety nine percent of the issues.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
But not on this one. She did what was.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Called I'm just going to give you the technical term,
a discharge petition. What's a discharge petition, Jeff? It is
a procedural tool that if you get a majority of
the members of the House, it doesn't matter both parties together,
it doesn't have to just be one party. Then you
can go around House leadership and they can no longer

(14:41):
then set the agenda. You can force a vote on
the bill that you want to be voted on.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
And so what Anna Paulina Luna.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Did because she just had her second child, she is
a mother, lia newborn mother who is saying it is
unfair for women members of Congress to not have at
least three months maternal leaf, and so to have three

(15:12):
months maternal leave, they should be allowed to do what's
called proxy voting. In other words, they're at home or
they're in their apartment or whatever, and they vote remotely,
using someone as a proxy to vote for them. In Congress,

(15:32):
a member of her staff whoever acting on behalf of
Anna Paulina Luna, and so her argument is we need
to have that three month buffer. Why so a mother
needs to spend time with her baby, bond with her baby,
constantly be with her baby. And about fourteen female members

(15:55):
of Congress have had children during their time in Congress. Well,
another one was Britney Peterson. She's a Democrat from Colorado,
and so she and Anna Paulina Luna co sponsored this
discharge petition, which would then say, if you're a father

(16:16):
or a mother of a newborn child, you get three
months paternity or maternity leave where you can get in,
you can do proxy voting, remote voting. They got over
two hundred Democrats to sign on, they got eleven Republicans
to sign on, They got their majority, and Annapolina Luna said,

(16:42):
I want the vote today, which was yesterday. Mike Johnson
opposes proxy voting. He thinks it's unconstitutional, he thinks it
sets a very bad precedent. It was done during COVID
by the Democrats. It was massively abused most of the

(17:03):
times they didn't even show up to Congress. It was
an absolute disaster. So he thinks it's bad practice, he
thinks it's unconstitutional.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
He was against it.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
He went against Luna and said no, I don't want
you to do the discharge petition. He then went to
block this attempt. Anna, Paulina Luna and the Democrats and
joined by nine other Republicans, said Okay, this is the
way you want to play it, no problem. The rules package,

(17:38):
which governs the way you're going to vote today and tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
They voted it down. They voted it.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Down to force a vote eventually on proxy voting for
members of Congress who just had a baby. And so
Johnson now says, and he came out yesterday saying, well,
we don't have agreement on anything. We can't move forward

(18:07):
on anything because they're trying to force a vote on
proxy voting before we can get to the Judges Bill
and the Save Act. And so the entire week now
listen to this. They're all going back home. Okay, A
couple lines are open if you want to jump on.
Let me just put a final exclamation point, because I

(18:30):
want to go to the blazing phone lines whatever you
think about whether members of Congress either women or men.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Because that's what this bill.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
You know, what's held up everything is this bill now
that they are trying to pass in Congress against the
wishes of the leadership. So this is being done by
two hundred plus Democrats and about ten or eleven Republicans.
Anna Paulina Luna is the one leading the charge on
the among the Republicans, rebels. Whatever you think about it,

(19:03):
it's about let's say a man and a member of Congress,
a male has a child or his wife has a child,
he can take three months and do proxy voting, in
other words, not show up in Congress and actually vote.
Anna Paulina Luna says she doesn't want to have to
go and vote for three months. She just had a baby,

(19:23):
her second child. Female members of Congress should not be
forced to go and vote and actually show up in
the well of the chamber. They should be given three
months home with their children, and if they have to vote,
vote via proxy, someone votes for them or they vote
via remote remote voting. Now, whatever you think of the issue, Jeff,

(19:48):
I think members of Congress should have three months and
they should be allowed to do proxy voting or it's
unconstitutional and it's a slippery slope and it's going to
lead to a lot of abuse down the road where
you can have people acting as proxies, but are they
you know, say someone like Dianne Feinstein who's mentally gone, gone,

(20:11):
completely mentally gone. But you can have a member of
the staff saying I'm the proxy and they start voting whatever,
imposing their will upon that of the Senator or the
member of Congress. Personally, I'm against proxy voting. I think
it's a horrible idea. I think it is unconstitutional. But
let that go. Wherever you stand on this issue, how

(20:36):
is it more important? And you're willing to go to
war over this issue now when literally President Trump's agenda
is on the line. So now we're not going to
vote on this all important bill to rein in this

(20:59):
out of contry role federal judiciary and these district court
judges who now have usurped power and are claiming basically
they are the facto presidents. So this bill, again, it
doesn't deal with women in the private sector or parents
in the private It's about members of Congress themselves. It's

(21:21):
a bill about themselves. Now we didn't elect you to
pass bills to make life easier for yourself.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
You work for us, We pay your salary.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
We demand performance, We demand that you do your job.
We elected President Trump and the Republican majority to implement
the agenda and the campaign promises that Trump ran and
won on. And now we're looking at an entire week gone.

(22:02):
As I said, this was yesterday was announced. Yeah, I go,
it's only Tuesday. You guys are already taken the week off.
And then, by the way, they've got two weeks set
aside off for vacation in April. Like the clock is ticking.

(22:22):
The midterms are going to be next year, like, come on,
do something, start passing bills. And then you've got the
Save Act, which would in many ways neoter voter fraud.
It would get rid of voter fraud across the country,
a critical issue. And well, now they're not going to

(22:43):
vote on that on Thursday. God knows when they're gonna
get on get to that issue because Britney Peterson the
Democrat and Anna Paulino Luna the Republican want a half
three months where they can be at home and do
proxy voting. Because they decided to have a baby having

(23:04):
babies as beautiful. Please, no one loves babies more than
Jeff trust me than Jeff Cooner. Nobody loves families more
than Jeff Cooner. But even if you support the issue,
now is not the time to you know, this is
not the hill to die on now. This is not
the time to wage a floor fight that then blows

(23:28):
up this procedural vote that would set up voting on
the judges today and the SAYAC tomorrow. This is a
circus clown show, That's what this is. It's a circus
clown show. And the one thing these Republicans and Democrats notice,

(23:51):
or the one thing they can get along with, is
take a break long weekends. By the way, no one
ever works on the weekends. You know how many weekends
I work through all the time. That's another reason why
everything is being slow rolled. Mike Johnson refuses to keep
Republicans in Washington to force Schumer and Akim Jeffries to

(24:15):
stay in Washington over Saturday and Sunday, so they they
work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
By Thursday night they're all gone and they're not back
until Tuesday morning.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Yesterday.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
They just work Tuesday forget Wednesday today and forget tomorrow.
This is selfish, this is shortsighted, this is petty.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
I'm sorry, this is stupid.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
With all due respect, even if you believe in the issue,
everything has its time and place, not now, not when
everything is on the line, because the Democrats now are
going to try to steal elections. We know that we've
got to stop voter fraud while we can, while we

(25:15):
have the opportunity.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
And we've got we've got to.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Control and and and and and and and and and
and restore the proper separation of powers. We've got to
rein in these out of control rogue activist judges because
they're picking Trump's entire presidency apart. They're blocking him, they're
paralyzing him right in front.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Of our eyes.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
And and they're now going on about proxy voting for
male members of Congress who've just had a baby.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
You can't make this up. I'm telling you, you can't
make it up. Six one seven.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
Two six six sixty eight sixty eight agree, disagree, Rick
in Nashville, Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
You're going to kick us off. Rick, thanks for holding
and welcome.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Unfortunately, this is a sign of the time so the Republicans,
the reality of this Wisconsin vote was is no matter
if the Republicans prevailed, that those two bills will never,
never would have survived to Senate vote. You know, we

(26:34):
don't have them. Are are Republican senators. There's no unity there.
You know, on any given day there's three or four
from the code the other direction that everybody knows that.
So this is going to what you're seeing now is
and I knew this was coming in a lot of
your callers, I'm sure will back me up on this.

(26:56):
This is going to be a twenty sixteen all over again.
The Democrats are going to impeach him from the word go.
There's going to be chaos. There's already chaos in the
Republican party. There's no unity. I mean, here's this, you
know this Pauline A Luna. You know, she sounded like

(27:17):
like a team player, but she's not, you know, instead
of that being focused on let's get this save Act.
Even though I think obviously, like I said, it's never
would have survived the Senate vote, but still it would
have showed party unity. She's worried about something that concerns her,
you know, her own situation The Democrats have one focus power.

(27:42):
That's all they care about, and that's how they vote.
And you're not. Donald Trump's hands are going to be tied.
What there's been one hundred's past.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Six seven two six six, sixty eight, sixty eight is
the number. I want to go right back to Rick
in Nashville. However, I would be remiss if I at
least didn't mention this. Look, Republicans in some ways had
a very good night. I mean to be fair, you know,
I always have to call it the way I see it.
They did win those two special elections in Florida, those

(28:13):
two House seats, Mike Waltz's old seat, Matt Gates's old seat,
So they've given themselves two extra votes, two extra seats
in the House majority. So they do have a little
bit more breathing room now than they did before. Yes,
they lost the States Supreme Court race against the leftists,

(28:35):
the left wing judge Susan Crawford, and that's we're going
to feel that over the next year and a half,
I guarantee it. However, voters in Wisconsin did approve a
voter ID law, which is going to make it much

(28:56):
harder to cheat in elections in Wisconsin, You're going to
have to show voter ID, You're going to have to
show identification photo ID if you plan to vote. So
there was, in that sense, a strong victory for Elon.
Elon was pushing this very hard and obviously a big

(29:18):
victory for Trump and for the Republicans. But I'm just
looking at the bigger picture, and they were late to
get involved on the state Supreme Court race. This was
a winnable race. They blew that. If it wasn't for Elon,
it would have been a disaster, a landslide. And now

(29:39):
you're looking at redistricting in the loss of two seats
in the House, which could make her be the difference
make or break Trump's presidency, especially after the midterms next year.
And then you've got all of this infighting and chaos
within the Republican Party to such an extent that now

(30:01):
two major votes had to be suspended and postponed. One
on reigning in the judges, the these out of control
activist judges. That vote was supposed to be today, forget
about it. It's going to be at least next week
if we're lucky. And then tomorrow was going to be
the big vote on the Save Act, which would restore

(30:21):
election integrity and make it the law of the land
that you have to pre show proof of citizenship documentary
proof in order to be eligible to vote, and that
every state would have to purge their voting roles of
non citizens and illegal aliens. To me, these are two

(30:44):
of the most important issues of our time. But we're
going to what sacrifice that.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Block that.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
To have a vote on proxy voting for members of
Congress who just had a baby three months proxy voting
so they can spend more time with their baby. And
by the way, I have to say this, and I'm
going to go to Rick, I promise. You know, Anna
Paulina Luna, who's leading the charge for the Republicans, she

(31:15):
was up on Capitol Hill. She had a babysitter, I mean,
the babysitter was with her as she's walking around doing
the hall you know, the rounds in Congress. And she voted,
and she gave a floor speech and she led this
you know, insurrection or what do you want to call
this revolt along with the Democrats together against Maga Mike,

(31:39):
you know little Mike, Mike Johnson and the Republican House leadership.
The baby is six inches away from her. It's not
even like the baby's back in Florida. So and that's
they're get paid for that. They have ext We pay
for this extra benefits. So if she wants to be

(32:02):
with her baby, she has money funds that go to
her office, so she can hire a babysitter, and the
babysitter can literally be beside her at work in Congress
holding the baby. And then if Anna Paulina Luna during
her lunch hour wants to hold her baby, or during
a break wants to hold her baby. So what I'm

(32:24):
saying is even yesterday she had a babysitter beside her.
I mean, look, I don't know what else to tell you, really,
I just I are you here to do the people's
business or are you here to make your life as
comfortable as possible? That's the question six one seven two

(32:45):
six six sixty eight sixty eight. And again, if you
think members of Congress should get three months maternity leave
or they want it also paternity leave so the wife
or girlfriend has a baby, then the male member of
Congress can take three months off and do remote voting.
Now is not the time. We've got much bigger fish

(33:08):
to fry. Agree, disagree, Okay, Rick in Nashville, you're saying, look, Jeff,
the Republicans are hopelessly disunited, They're hopelessly divided, and yesterday
it just showed again there are too many judases, too

(33:29):
many people who aren't team players, too many people who
just aren't serious enough about doing the people's will and
the people's business.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Rick, please pick up where you left off.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
Here. Okay, Jeff, you hit it right on the head
as usual. That's why. That's why you even though I
live in Nashville, I've I've been listening to you for years.
You are the voice of reality and the voice of
truth and clarity and in this country. But I think
you know that. Uh, you're exactly right. I appreciate it.

(34:06):
When you're going to run for office, federal office. Uh,
you know this is not She's not a council person
in some in her home city. She's she's representing, you know,
the people from the entire state of Florida. If you're
going to do the people's business, you've got to make
some sacrifices money, and one of them is, like you said,

(34:29):
you know you have a babysitter thousands millions of women
in this country have you know, have to go to
work by by necessity or by choice, and they make
it work because you know, they can't pass laws to
you know, to make their life situation the way they
want it. You have to conform to the city, you know,

(34:51):
to the work rules that you're you know, you're you're
you're in you have to live by. And that is
do the people work. When you're a House of representatives,
when you're a senator, when you're representing the country, you
can't think about your own situation. And that's the problem.

(35:12):
But getting back to the bigger issue, Donald Trump's got
what has passed what one hundred and fifty year plus
eos executive orders. You know, they're challenging if I'm not mistaken,
correct me if I'm wrong. They've challenged all of those,
I believe, and.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Every single executive order has now been blocked.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
Embolden the liberal judges that are getting that already have
cases and we'll get future cases, make future rulings. Today's
a very dismal day for the Republican Party. In my opinion,
I see it the only thing. I can just see
chaos on a grander scale than in twenty sixteen because

(36:01):
the vital is just over the top out there. We've
seen this with Tesla, with just the attacks on MAGA
people on you know, every low.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Well, it's war.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
I mean what you're you nailed it, Rick, Look, it's political, ideological,
legal war. That's what's happening now. And the Democrats have
said it. We have now we're declaring war on Donald Trump,
on the Republicans and on MAGA. And it's war. They've
declared war. And what are the Republicans doing. They're fighting

(36:38):
over proxy voting for members of Congress who just had
a baby. I'm telling you can't make this stuff up.
So that now Trump's going to have to get involved.
He will. I don't even need to say this, but
I'm just telling you Trump is going to get involved.
He's going to have to get involved, and pardon my expression,
he's gonna have to kick some ass and he's gonna

(37:01):
have to give Anna Paulino Luna call, which he will,
and he's gonna say knock this off, and he's gonna
tell Mike Johnson, what kind of a ship are you
running up there? Like a so well, I want to
wait to know it another week another ten days if
I'm lucky, this still and this is still got to
go to the Senate, and then it's got to go
to conference, and then you got to vote again on

(37:23):
it after conference in the House and in the Senate
before I can sign it. He goes, Guys, by the
time this thing is done, the midterms will be here already.
So you got to move. Speed is of the essence.
We've got to keep the initiative if we're gonna win
this thing. So look, the problem with Trump, and this

(37:46):
is why I feel very sorry for the man. He
has to do all he elon and JD I'm telling
you that's what it's come down to.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Now.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
They have to do all the fighting on their own.
And there are the only three that are fighting. No
one else is fighting. And I don't care how good
you are, I don't care how smart you are. You
have to have numbers, You have to have other people
who are willing to fight with you. And look, it's

(38:16):
now we're never We're entering now a very critical phase
now of Trump's presidency. The Republicans have to get their
act together. And my friends, Koonner country, I'm urging all
of you. We've got to put maximum pressure on Republicans
get these bills passed.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
Now.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
Now you want to do proxy voting for members of
Congress who just had a baby, you do it after. Okay,
you do it after we've passed the president's agenda.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
Not now agree, disagree.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
And let me just say one other quick thing, because
Rick and Nashville, I thought, put his finger on it said, look,
this is not a private sector job. With all due respect, Look,
I'm in the private sector. Okay, my wife's in the
private sector. Most of you are in the private sector.
This is not a private sector job where, hey, I

(39:14):
work really long hours, I work weekends, I work, you know,
I work and work and work. I want to be
able to see my child, especially when the child's in
newborn and I understand, especially with the mother and the baby,
they need time together. This goes without saying, okay, so

(39:34):
we're not talking about that. We're talking about members of
Congress and senators who have taken a notae not just
to defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States,
but what do they always say they're doing that. They
use two words a phrase all the time, quote unquote
public service. Have you noticed that they always say no, No,

(39:55):
I'm not a politician. No, I do public SERVI so
serve the public. I'm sorry, it's public service, it's not
private service. You're not in the private sector. So yes,

(40:16):
I'm sorry. You're gonna have to make certain sacrifices. And
if that means you have to show up and vote
even though you just had a baby a month ago,
well I'm sorry. Tell your babysitter who we pay for. Okay,
hold the baby, take care of the baby, love the baby,

(40:39):
feed the baby, walk with me, and I'm gonna go
to Congress and work and cast my vote.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
I don't think I'm asking for too much.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
But notice they enrich themselves, they line their pockets, they
enrich their families.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
How do they serve us?

Speaker 2 (41:03):
They've put us thirty seven trillion dollars in the hole.
How do they serve us? They've destroyed our standard of living?
How do they serve us? They've gotten us involved in
how many wars around the world, sacrifice how many of
our young men and women?

Speaker 1 (41:23):
How are they serving us?

Speaker 2 (41:25):
The Democrats, in particular, massive open borders flooded our country
with the illegals. How are they serving us? They just
get richer and richer and richer, their children get richer,
and their families richer and richer. If you've noticed, and

(41:46):
I've never heard of this, they work three days a
week with tons of vacation time thrown in. Now, I'm sorry,
you've got Monday off, You've got Friday off, We've got Saturday,
Sunday off. When it's Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. I want your
I mean I want your ass in Congress. Baby, no baby,

(42:11):
but I'm asking for this guy now six one seven
two six six sixty eight sixty eight agree, disagree, Larry
in lemonster, Thanks for holding Larry.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
And welcome.

Speaker 4 (42:27):
Good morning, Jeff. Who are we going to spend today?

Speaker 1 (42:34):
Larry?

Speaker 2 (42:35):
I'm getting a lot of texts from people, a lot
and messages on messengers saying, Jeff kooner Man two words
term limits.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
What's say you, Larry?

Speaker 4 (42:50):
Further, I want to make a law that if anyone
has a baby, they can't vote to put up any
bills for three months until they're homeone straight out?

Speaker 3 (43:00):
How about that?

Speaker 1 (43:08):
Larry?

Speaker 2 (43:10):
What do you make of all this? And are you
surprised that this is coming from of all people? Anna
Paulina Luna, who has been a staunch Trump supporter, a
Maga Republican. Really, I'm a rising MAGA superstar. People were
honestly talking about Senator Anna Paulina Luna, maybe even Cabinet secretary,

(43:33):
vice president, maybe even President Anna Paulina Luna.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
And this is the hill. Now she's willing to die on.
Are you shocked, Larry?

Speaker 4 (43:45):
Oh, just because I referred to I'm half joking with
that whole don't vote until your hormite because I'm going
to offend a lot of women. But after postpartum foremones,
they do a lot of crazy stuff. And you know,
I'm not saying we should really bar her from voting,
but yeah, this is ridiculous, chef, and she she's potentially

(44:11):
I don't think it's going to hurt her as far
as being a congresswoman, but it might stall her from
going any further or stifle however you want to call it.
You know, you're right. You're timing is horrible. Now you
said she has a babysitter. What's a husband do? Why
can't you watch the kids?

Speaker 3 (44:32):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Well, I think the husband works. I mean to be
you know, I mean to be fair. I mean, look,
she's and she is a hard worker in Congress. I
mean I want to give you know, really, Anna Pauline
A Lune as a worker. Uh, there's no question she's
a worker and Larry. To be fair, okay, to be
I mean it was funny. I mean, I get it
was funny. But to be fair, she's already had a

(44:52):
child before, a son. I believe the son's name is
Henry So. And she's been an advocate for this even
before she gave birth. She's been pushing for this now
for really several years, and she's worked tirelessly, months and
months getting this, you know, getting signatures on what's this
called this petition discharge, working with Democrats, working across the aisle.

(45:16):
So this is something that has been a cause that's
very dear to her heart. So I don't think it's
just you know, hey, she just had a baby and
it's you know, hormones or whatever. No, she's been doing
this for a long time. But my argument is, okay, fine,
I understand this issue is dear to you, okay, and

(45:37):
I'm willing to consider it on the merits, but not now,
and not at the cost of the President's agenda, not
at the cost of the Save Act, not at the
cost of putting these federal judges back in line and
finally putting them under some kind of control, and and

(46:00):
storing separation of powers and giving chance, giving the president
the chance to be president of the United States. I mean,
the stakes are so high, So to me, she's being selfish.
I mean, if you want my honest opinion, I think
she's not because she wants this bill, but because she
wants this bill now at this time, at this critical juncture.

(46:25):
That's my disappointment than her. What say you, Larry, Oh.

Speaker 4 (46:30):
I agree completely, And that's where I was going with this.
It's more of the stupidity and the timing thing. But
now I want to juxappose that. Unfortunately I have to
bring up Democrats and it shows them in.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
A better light.

Speaker 4 (46:46):
Do you remember I forget which time it was because
she's bounced in and out of that position, But do
you remember Nancy Pelosi with the gavel and the grandson
or a grandchild on her lap yep, showing that woman
empowerment can do it all. Then the devil herself Woo
with the stupid cross on her head, had her baby

(47:08):
testifying in front of converts, showing whether it's real or not.
I know it's stage, but showing the people the women
can do it all. They have the baby, they had
the career and stuff. Right, She's not a congress person
against her will. She wanted the job, she fought for

(47:32):
the job, and now she's acting like you know, it's
a detriment to her because she decided to have a child.
I'm not downing children, obviously, you know. I'm all for
having a family, but there's just you have to accept
sometimes you cannot do it all.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Well, Larry, just to reinforce your point, and you're dead on.
You're not one hundred as I like to say, you're
a thousand percent correct. Let me just to add to
what you're saying. I got emails last night. I mean,
Cooner Country is BS about this, okay bull crap about that.
They are angry and I don't blame them. They're upset.
I don't blame them. And one vet wrote me and said, Jeff,

(48:17):
I signed up to serve in the military. Well, my
wife and I had a baby. I didn't see the
first year of my child. Did not see him once,
my baby boy. Why because I was deployed in Afghanistan.
I didn't say, hey, hey, my wife just had a baby.
I want three months paternity to leave. I want to

(48:38):
be with my young baby, my newborn. It's important to bond,
it's important to be together. It's important to support my
wife to be there for my newborn.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
No, he goes.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
My child was one year old, or about about one
year old, the first time I ever laid eyes on
my beautiful boy. And he said, so, I'm so I
signed up for the military. Now, I wasn't making two
hundred thousand dollars a year. I'm not given a staff
of thirty people. They don't have all my flights paid for,

(49:11):
all my meals paid for, babysitters paid for, gold plated healthcare,
gold plated pension, gold plated dental care. I'm not getting
all of these incredible fringe benefits that members of Congress get.
Anna Paulina Luna, as I said, has a permanent babysitter

(49:33):
that we again I don't want keep repaying, but we
pay for this as part of her staff. So most
women they got to handle it on their owner, with
their spouse or with their partner. So you're right, you
signed up for the job. That's the job. Final word
to you.

Speaker 4 (49:50):
Larry, really quick Jeff, I know, we're gett's the clock.
There's several categories of leave in the military. One of
them is called convolescent. That's to take care of an
elderly parent or a sick you know, dying child or somebody.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
Larry, please hang on.
