Speaker 1 (00:00):
It now looks like Trump may have actually won Tuesday
Night's debate. And I'm not talking about scoring it in
terms of a style or who scored better points in
terms of what the voters think, which is ultimately what matters.
The New York Times No friend of Donald Trump, Reuter's

(00:22):
News Agency, Liberal Wire, a news service no friend of
Donald Trump. Both said that they had focused groups of
undecided voters, and both said that undecided independent voters, especially women,
single women with children, decisively said two to one that

(00:46):
Trump actually won the debate, and when pressed why, they
said yes. Stylistically, Kamala Harris won. She was smoother, she
was more polished, she was on message. She clearly got
under Trump's skin. She baited him repeatedly, and he took debate,
but on the issues that ultimately matter to them, the economy, inflation,

(01:10):
the price of food, groceries, gas, border immigration, crime, they
said Trump Trump spoke to their needs and addressed their concerns,
while Kamala Harris was vague, vacuous, all style, no substance.
And furthermore, the fact that the two moderators completely teamed

(01:36):
up with Kamala to make it into a three on
one pylon turned them off a they thought it was
unfair to Trump. But more importantly, if Kamala needs two
moderators to essentially be her running mates, if she can't
stand up to Donald Trump one on one in a debate,

(01:58):
then she's not fit to be president of the United States.
As one of them put it, if she can't go
toe to toe with Trump without getting support and help
from people around her, then how can she stand toe
to toe with Vladimir Putin or the Ayatolas an Iran
or Jijinping. So ABC's decision to go all in the

(02:22):
tank for Kamala, in fact, has now blown up in
their face. It was now not just a bad night
for ABC and David Muir and Lindsey Davis, it now
also was a bad night for Kamala Harris no wonder
she and her campaign are practically begging for a second debate.

(02:47):
They want a rematch because deep down they know Kamala
lost
