Speaker 1 (00:00):
It won't help her. Yesterday, Kamala Harris comrade, Kamala did Oprah.
She went on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah Winfrey with
all of her celebrity star power. In fact, not only
was Oprah interviewing Kamala, she had on zoom calls numerous

(00:20):
Hollywood celebrities Ben Stiller, Meryl Streep, on and on it went,
who were also participating, cheering Kamala on every step of
the way. And as I said on the air, this
was not really an interview, even a softball interview. This

(00:40):
was a rally masquerading as an interview. Day cheered day. Clap,
they hollered. They were there to prop her up and
try to drag her over the finish line. On November fifth,
and even then, Kamala Harris still bombed. When a young

(01:02):
married couple on a zoom call asked her the most
basic question, cost of living is very high. What are
you going to do to lower the cost of food, groceries, gasoline,
basic necessities? Her answer, I kid you not was a
one minute pathetic word salad. She understands their pain. The

(01:28):
American dream, according to Kamala, is becoming elusive. We can't
give up on our aspirations. She wants to create an
opportunity society without defining what the hell that even means.
And then she just ended by saying, I will lower
your cost of living on all of your basic necessities.

(01:52):
But how no solutions were offered, no policies were offered,
nothing specific or concrete. It was all empty spin, cheap cliches,
cheap platitudes, joy vibe, good feelings, but never answering the

(02:15):
basic question. My friends, we are now just over forty
days away from the election, and she still can't answer
the most basic, simple question of all. Are you better
off now than you were three and a half years ago? Could?
Does Kamala even have any kind of a plan to

(02:36):
bring down the high inflation, the high cost of food, groceries, gas,
car insurance, utility bills, rent, mortgage that have skyrocketed under
her and Joe Biden? And the answer is obvious, She
has no plan because she caused the mess. And are

(02:59):
you better off now than you were three and a
half years ago? Of course you're not. We're all poor,
we're all paying more, and we're all falling behind. She
can do celebrity interview after celebrity interview. She can do
the Oprah Winfrey Show one hundred times until November fifth,

(03:22):
it's not gonna help her. She's now coming across as
an out of touch, dangerously detached elitist. They may love
her in Hollywood, they may love her in the media,
they may love her in the corporate boardrooms. But where
it matters in Middle America, on the ground, among voters,

(03:47):
especially the broad middle working class, it no work. They're
not buying what she's selling. Kamala Harris is going down.
Take it to the bank.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
