Texas Democrats Surrender

The Texas Democrats bend the knee. They have now waived
a white flag of surrender. Governor Greg Abbott now came
out and said even if they continue to hold out
until next week when the special session of the Texas
Legislature ends, he will just start another special session, and

(00:22):
then another and then another. In other words, no matter
how long Texas Democrats flee the state of Texas to
protest the new redistricting map for US House members, members
in Congress Texas will eventually get a vote and it
will pass. The state Senate passed it yesterday, the redistricting

(00:47):
map that will now give Republicans five extra seats in
the House of Representatives, meaning that Democrats will lose five seats,
which will now help Republicans potentially keep their majority in
the US House of Representatives. Democrats now realize it's over. Furthermore,

Greg Abbott went to the State Supreme Court and now
is asking for the right yes to vacate the seats,
that is, to expel them from their seats from their
office for refusing to attend the Texas Legislature and not
have a quorum. He is going to win at the

(01:31):
State Supreme Court rather than lose their offices and vacate
their state house seats. These Texas Dems, over fifty of them,
have now written a letter saying no mass no more.
They're throwing in the towel. They're going to come back.
This is a humiliating defeat for the Dems. They never

(01:53):
had any leverage to begin with, and this is their
fundamental problem. They have been geremandering and redistricting state after
state after state, whether it's California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Maryland,
or Massachusetts. In fact, those states are all Jerry manderd out.

You can't squeeze any more seats for the Democrats because
they've already squeezed them dry. Texas, however, if they want,
can even get an extra five seats on top of
these five seats. And we're not even talking about other
red states like Missouri, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina. I could

go on and on. The Democrats have started a war
that they are now gonna lose, and Texas will be
their first defeat, but not their only defeat to the Republicans.
It's time to continue to play smash mouth football. You
now redistrict Ohio, Missouri, other red states, to the point

that Republicans will gain not five, but potentially twenty five
extra seats and prevent the Democrats from taking back power
in the midterm elections. The Democrats have overplayed their hand.
They have tried to use the US Census, gerrymandering, illegal aliens,

everything under the sun to try to retain or regain
control at all costs. But under Trump, it is a
new Republican party. It is a Republican party that fights
as hard and as dirty as the Democrats. And the
Democrats can't take it. They picked on the wrong man.

(03:48):
Trump is not to be bullied. The new Maga Trump
Republicans are a different breed of Republicans. We don't just
take it and take it and take it. We give
back as good as we get. Don't believe me. Ask
the Democrats in Texas. They just got their heads handed

to them. And this is only the beginning to the
Republicans winning, winning, winning. Don't stop now, keep going. The
Democrats are on the ropes.
