The Republicans Should End the Filibuster Now

I can't believe these words are about to leave my mouth.
But President Trump on this issue is one thousand percent correct.
I always was a big supporter of the filibuster. In fact,
I was a supporter of the filibuster until last week.
It's always been historically a huge check in balance on

the government in power, especially when Democrats control the White House,
the House, and the Senate. And so I've always believed
that needing to get to sixty votes for key vital
legislation is the ultimate check on an imperial president on socialism,

on destructive legislation. But President Trump now says that the
Democratic Party has become so radical, so extreme, frankly a communist,
far left party, that the moment they win back the
Senate fifty plus one, they will blow up the filibuster,

invoke what's called the nuclear option, end the filibuster and
pass everything fifty plus one, pack the Supreme Court fifty
plus one, end the electoral College fifty plus one at
mid Puerto Rico and Washington, DC estates, thereby giving the

Democrats almost a permanent majority in the Senate fifty plus one.
In other words, if Republicans do not end the filibuster,
themselves now and pass key legislation and reopen the government.
The Democrats eventually will and they will then destroy the country.

And I hate to say it, but I think the
filibuster now needs to go, and the reason is obvious
in the wake of Tuesday's election. Let's be clear, Let's
be honest with one another. The Democrats now are a
Marxist radical communist party. They elected Zoron Mamdani. He is

now the face of the party. AOC, Bernie Sanders, the
entire radical left is now in the ascendancy. And Bernie
and AOC and others have now said, when we take
back power, we're gonna nuke that filibuster and we're gonna
ram everything down the Republicans' throat. In other words, what

is John Thune waiting for. The Democrats now can't wait
to come back to office so they can end that
filibuster and transform America into a Marxist socialist state. They
elected someone who openly fantasizes about murdering Republicans and their children,

Jay Jones. Every Republican supported j Jones. This is the
kind of party you're now dealing with. This is an
extreme party, a revolutionary party. An insane party, a nihilistic party,
and it's now a question of who is willing to

take and seize the initiative first. If the Republicans wait
on the filibuster and eventually lose control of the Senate,
trust me when I tell you this, they will end
the filibuster. The Democrats will end it, and then the
country will be gone because the likes of Mamdani and

the likes of Elizabeth Warren, and the likes of Bernie Sanders,
and the likes of Alexandria Coccazio Cortes and Elano mar
and the rest of the Marxists now who run the
Democrats don't give a damn about the filibuster. They don't
want checks and balances. They want to shatter checks and

balances because their goal is to turn America into a
third world socialist hellhole. To the Republicans, listen to President Trump.
This is now a fight to the finish, and do
the Republicans have what it takes to deliver the knockout blow?
