Social security income recipients fall 20,000 since January

Since January, supplemental recipients have dropped twenty thousand.

What that indicates is that maybe more people are going
to work or there were also some changes made by
the Social Security Administration, and so some of that change
the eligibility criteria.

Economist doctor Van Skin says high cost of living has
made it tougher for recipients, and that snowballs into making
staying retired more difficult.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Even though inflation has quote unquote moderated some, it's still
close to three percent, and I think that we're going
to see more inflationary pressures.

He says, if Trump can rein in over spending, it
