Robert Montoya of Texas Scorecards says this is a positive
action to get away from the DEI movement, and while
state law bands DEI practices, it stops short of the
actual classroom.

But it doesn't apply to academic instruction, and as we're seeing,
there's still a problem in terms of what's actually being
taught in these universities.
