comfortable in Houston.

Houston is one of the least expensive of the top
ten major metro cities in the United States to live in,
But the thing is, we've been facing some rising housing costs.

Economist Thank Lewis as employers get away with paying lower
wages here because of the lower living costs, and even
at ninety thousand a year, adding in things like car
notes and rent fuels on affordability.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Then you throw it a student a loan, and that
three thousand dollars towards just the basic living expenses is
probably not going to be enough.
