Restocking the Ranks: Border Patrol Applications Surge

Customs and Border Protection reports a forty four percent rise
in applications so far this year compared to last. Border
Patrol Chief Mike Banks tells Fox there's a good reason
why so many are joining the ranks.

We're allowed to actually do our job, which is go
out and enforce the law. Under this administration, they have
literally take the handcuffs off and allow us to force
the law instead of policies that were created to contradict
the law.

And so our morale has continued to rise, and the
morales just through the roof.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
And it's not just Border Patrol. The Coast Guard and
Secret Service both report huge increases in new applications and
