He then decided, I'm going to run this court like
a kangaroo court court. I am going to run it

and this goes back to the sentencing guideline that were
put out by this activist judge who gave money to
Joe Biden, by the DA who ran on vote for me,

over the country, from top positions in the DOJ for example,
to then take a demotion just so they could say
Donald Trump is a felon, all knowing good and well
that this will be overturned. There's no doubt about it.
This will be overturned by the appeals court. And people
are gonna say, well, then go to the Supreme Court.

Guess what, you can't. You have to work through the
system first. The president can't just go straight to the
Supreme Court. And there's the advantage for the left. They

that he basically said, here's a bunch of rules, but

Most bizarre moments I've had in a courtroom, and I
was just observing. The judge had just said that the
jury could not reach a decision and that we would
be dismissed for the day. Some reporters actually gathered their
stuff and was starting to leave, and then the judge
came and basically said, my mistake. We just got a

note saying there's a verdict. Throughout this time, you could
feel the building pressure in that courtroom. The one person
that didn't seem to register it was the former president.
He had been chatting with counsel. He didn't show any
emotion at all as this mantra of guilty verdicts was read,

and there was a great you know, I think that
this is one of those things that is really embodies
the entire Trump era. There were people who clearly were
thrilled by the result, and there were people that will
be very sad by it. I was saddened to watch it.
I disagree with this verdict. I think, as I've said before,

that this case was legally unfounded. When they were reading
those guilty verdicts, the one thing that we didn't know
is really what he was found guilty of, because if
you remember, the judge allowed the jury to find guilt
on any one of three secondary crimes.

Whether the jury found any one or those crimes, whether
they found all three of those crimes. I'm not too
sure we will know that. That's one of the many
issues that I think presents reversible problems in this case.
So what I would say is that this is a
historic moment. We all have to take a breath. But

for those upset by this verdict, remember this remains a
country committed to the rule of law, and this is
going to go up on appeal. I think it's going
to re be reversed in the state or federal systems.
But it's moments like this when you're on the other side,
when you disagree with a verdict that you have to
take a leap of faith in the rule of law.

It's what defines us. Many people feel that this case
really embodied the antithesis of that. But as a country
as a whole, we have a system in place to
review this. For Donald Trump, that's not going to happen
before the election in all likelihood by But let's keep
in mind that this is not the only court. It's

do They'll get to say between now an election day. Well,
Donald Trump was found guilty of thirty four counts of
falsifying business records.

That's normally a misdemeanor for which the statute of limitations
had already expired. The district Attorney Alvin Bragg prosecute the
cases of felony by asserting that the alleged falsification of

Trump has not been convicted of such a crime, by

the way, which you would need to make that argument,
But who cares? And the prosecutors did not specify in
fact what crime was committed, nor did it have to
prove the elements thereof The former president maintained throughout the
trial that this was a form of election interference. He's

that had been hand picked despite or because of as
many political conflicts, but regardless, Democrats got what they wanted.
There is almost no scenario in which a victory by
President Joe Biden would be seen as legitimate, in my opinion,

what price does he pay politically or does he not
pay politically as an appeals process, you know, plays out
and he now calls to the American people to deliver
their own verdicts in November.

by this, as we are all struck by it in

who knows the state courts and and knows the state law,
I know that this is riddled with reversible error. I
know that there was no basis to charge this crime,
this alleged crime, and a resurrect that misdemeanor's based upon

non unan as federal violations of the election law or
of the tax law. So I mean, you've got that,
but there's also a gut punch to the criminal justice
system in the United States. People realize we are no
longer safe anymore. And it's because of the progressive left
agenda of making sure that we don't keep people in jail.

And you know they're out there with thirty three arrest
but you know they're still assaulting people, are violently attacking
people down the street here. But now we've got one
of the most famous individuals in the world, the former
president of the United States, who can be taken down
by a George Sorow's funded prosecutor on a crime that

doesn't exist, where not one person put his finger anywhere
near that bookkeeping and now they're going to return a
verdict and say, oh, he's guilty. He's definitely guilty. This
is a jury pool made out of eighty five to
ninety percent of the people are anti Trump. Not anybody

is a felon. They will campaign off of this, They
will absolutely use this, and it is election interference. This
is an election interference trial. It was always an election
interference trial. And Alvin Bragg and the others involved have

in essence admitted that even before this came down, I
thought I would actually be more angry than I am
right now. The reason why I am not so angry
right now is because I know that this was a
rig sham event. From the very beginning, I knew this
was probably going to be the outcome of this sham event.

And when they changed the way they did the sentencing,
I knew it was going to be a sham event.
The Democrats got their goal. They can now brand Donald
Trump as a convicted felon. They don't care that this
is election interference, and to be honest with you, we

should know that they don't care. I go back to
what happened in twenty sixteen when the election interference took place,
when they said very clearly that Donald Trump was colluding
with the Russians. Even though Donald Trump was not colluding
with the Russians. They knew there was no Russian collusion.

They're the one that created the Steele Dalsia. They're the
ones that paid for it. They're the ones that financed it.
The Democratic Party and the Democratic Party right the Hillary
Clinton campaign, I should say, they financed the entire thing.
The FBI, by the way, knew it was a sham
and even labeled it as user generated.

It was a lie, It wasn't authentic, but they use
it anyway to try to overthrow the will of the
people and impeach a sitting president of the United States
of America for crimes that he had not committed. And
why did they do it this time? Because they got
so close last time, Except this time they were smarter
about it. They found an activist DA who was funded

by George Soros, and that DA ran off of locking
up Donald Trump. And then they found people to come
work in his office that took massive demotions in pay
and status from the Justice Department to come run this
sham court. And then they found the perfect judge a

judge who had given money to Joe Biden, who had
given money to Barack Obama, And what did he do?
He then decided, I'm going to run this court like
a kangaroo court court. I am going to run it
the way that Vladimir Putin runs the court. Yes, Vladimir Putin,
we have one in America now.

Joe Biden is going to celebrate this Alvin Bragg at
a press conference. I promise you, he is going to
celebrate this. This is all a celebration because their goal,
their entire goal, was to do this to the president,

and they got it. The appeal will not happen before
election day. Sentencing will be July eleventh, Remember when the
first debate is going to happen. They can brand Donald Trump,
which was their entire goal, as a convicted felon. Regardless
of what happens on appeal. There is no way that

any of these charges will stand up on appeal.

But the headline on CNN right now verdict count thirty
four guilty. Former President Donald J. Trump guilty convicted on
all counts. It says in the middle of the screen
at the bottom of the screen it says Donald Trump
guilty on all thirds four felony charges. And now the
Democratic Party has exactly what they want, and that is

that Donald Trump is a convicted felon at least from
now until election day. I want to say that again,
now until election day. That's all they needed, folks, that
was the only thing that was needed.

They needed it through election day.

And once they got what they wanted, which was a
he is guilty through election day, they can now run
their ads. Will this have an impact on the American people? Yes,
there are a lot of voters that don't pay very

he was convicted, so I guess I shouldn't vote for him.
It will have an impact, It will have a significant impact.

They know that this, and I'm sure they've done some
internal polling on this that if they could say that
Donald Trump is a felon between now and election day,
then what would happen? How would it change people's minds,
What would their thoughts be about the president? All of
this has been polled they know they're sitting on that

this will have some sort of impact, right, it will.
It will have some sort of impact on this trial.
It is going to or this, I should say on
this election. Now, the other question is what does the
other side do what a conservatives do. Here's what I
can tell you, and this is important. What I can

tell you is this. Donald Trump's website where you go
to give money to his campaign has crashed multiple times already.

In the last couple of hours.

And the reason why it is crashed is because Americans
are now saying enough, They're saying, I'm gonna get in
the game.

I tweeted out earlier.

I've never I don't usually advocate for big money to
go into campaigns and races. You need to give now
like you've never given before to Donald Trump for president,
because otherwise we are living in the Banana Republic. And
Joe Biden has weaponized our doj our FBI, the deep state,
and is using it now to take out his political opponents.

And it is real. He is America's Vladimir Putin.

Democrats want Donald Trump to die in prison.

we get to a point where Donald Trump could be
even put in this position? Tell you how we allowed

the radical extremists to take over this country? One of
the Fox anchors today asked the question of Donald Trump's attorney,
and this goes back to the sentencing guideline that were
put out by this activist judge who gave money to
Joe Biden, by the DA who ran on vote for me,
and I locked Donald Trump up by the team and

the staff he had around him that came from all
over the country, from top positions in the DOJ for example,
to then take a demotion just so they could say
Donald Trump is a felon, all knowing good and well
that this will be overturned. There's no doubt about it.
This will be overturned by the appeals court. And people
are gonna say, well, then go to the Supreme Court.

Guess what, you can't. You have to work through the
system first. The president can't just go straight to the
Supreme Court. And there's the advantage for the left. They
knew what they were doing. They knew what they were
doing from the very beginning. They understood it. We just
need to find him guilty and have him be a convict, right,

a felon through election day and then they can overturn it.
It doesn't matter. This is election interance. But the most
shocking part about what Judge Merchant did was the fact
that he basically said, here's a bunch of rules, but
I'm not going to give you the paper of those rules,
and you guys can come up with any way you
need to to get a guilty verdict against Donald Trump

in a jury pool that we knew was overwhelmingly against Donald.

Trump, and it worked flawlessly. In fact, you could make
up things that you think he did wrong. Take a
listen to again.

This is one of Trump's attorney being asked a question,
how do you defend a client if you don't know
what you're defending him against?

But the one underlying crime, so called crime that the
judge wants them to at least consider, is a tax
charge that wasn't really mentioned much, if at all, in
the trial itself.

Defend a client if you don't know what your defense against.

I actually love that you asked that question. The one
thing I just learned was that the judge had actually
suppressed the ability to bring in evidence of taxes or
what they did. And the fact that President Trump and
the Trump Organization did not take a tax deduction for this,
So show me where the crime is there.

It's crazy.

They were incredibly conservative, but this judge did not allow
that evidence in. He did, however, allow that to be
a jury instruction on it. So, yeah, it's so wrong. Honestly, David,
I've been watching and what's happening in there. I don't
know if the press could even captivate it. You get
everybody to understand how tragic it is. The rulings really
(15:44):
do deter the jurors from a knowing the facts, the
real facts, and also from President Trump getting a fair trial.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Well, it was never going to be a fair trial
for the president of the United States of America.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
That's the point here. This was rigged.

I will say it again. America has its own Vladimir Putin.
His name is Joe Biden. Joe Biden and his government
have turned America into a Banana republic, make no mistake
about it. What's even more shocking is the fact that

this just happened to a former sitting president of the
United States of America, Jonathan Turley, saying that listen carefully.

In the courtroom today. So you're fresh out of there,
can you give us any of the flavor because when
we thought that the court was going to break for
the day, it seems like President Trump and his team
seemed relaxed that he was smiling. Maybe they thought, Okay,
this jury is still struggling.

They're going to leave.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
Tonight not having made a decision. Then we get word
that verdict.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
Is coming in.
Speaker 5 (16:48):
What can you tell us about the mood inside the courthouse.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
It was one of the.
Speaker 6 (16:51):
Most bizarre moments I've had in a courtroom, and I
was just observing. The judge had just said that the
jury could not reach a decision and that we would
be dismissed for the day. Some reporters actually gathered their
stuff and was starting to leave, and then the judge
came and basically said, my mistake. We just got a
(17:13):
note saying there's a verdict. Throughout this time, you could
feel the building pressure in that courtroom. The one person
that didn't seem to register it was the former president.
He had been chatting with counsel. He didn't show any
emotion at all as this mantra of guilty verdicts was read,
(17:36):
and there was a great you know, I think that
this is one of those things that is really embodies
the entire Trump era. There were people who clearly were
thrilled by the result, and there were people that will
be very sad by it. I was saddened to watch it.
I disagree with this verdict. I think, as I've said before,
(17:56):
that this case was legally unfounded. When they were reading
those guilty verdicts, the one thing that we didn't know
is really what he was found guilty of, because if
you remember, the judge allowed the jury to find guilt
on any one of three secondary crimes.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
We weren't told.
Speaker 6 (18:21):
Whether the jury found any one or those crimes, whether
they found all three of those crimes. I'm not too
sure we will know that. That's one of the many
issues that I think presents reversible problems in this case.
So what I would say is that this is a
historic moment. We all have to take a breath. But
(18:42):
for those upset by this verdict, remember this remains a
country committed to the rule of law, and this is
going to go up on appeal. I think it's going
to re be reversed in the state or federal systems.
But it's moments like this when you're on the other side,
when you disagree with a verdict that you have to
take a leap of faith in the rule of law.
(19:03):
It's what defines us. Many people feel that this case
really embodied the antithesis of that. But as a country
as a whole, we have a system in place to
review this. For Donald Trump, that's not going to happen
before the election in all likelihood by But let's keep
in mind that this is not the only court. It's
(19:24):
just the first one.

Well and there all.

I like how he just said, let me remind you,
this is not all. This is the first court. He said,
I was sadden to watch it. You should be sad.
This is a.

Day in American history that will go down and I
will never forget this, a day where we have a
former sitting president of the United States of America being
convicted on trumped up charges, no pun intended by a
rogue and radical government. And now we are, I would argue,
no different than what they deal with in Russia right now.

Ar Vladimir Putin is a guy by the name of
Joe Biden, a man that can be corrupt on all levels,
a man that can take bribes from foreign countries, a
man that would bring in millions of dollars in bribery
from foreign countries. A man whose son and brother and
all of their family members. We're selling out America to

the highest bidder and the shadiest people, including Russian oligarchs.

President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, that
said the real verdict is going to be his words,

a conflicted judge who was corrupted. It's a rigged trial
and disgrace. They wouldn't give us a venue change.

is going to be no by the people. You want
to know how corrupt this judge is. It has been
planned for months and months and public knowledge that the

be sentenced July the eleventh, seven to eleven, four days
before the start of the Republican Convention. You can't make
this stuff up. Donald Trump will be sentenced in New York.
He'll have to be there July the eleventh, just four
days before the Republican Convention set to begin to Milwaukee, Wisconsin,

where the delegates will cast their votes for Trump as
a presidential nominee. And what will the Democrats get to
do They'll get to say between now an election day. Well,
Donald Trump was found guilty of thirty four counts of
falsifying business records.

He's a felon, by the way.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
That's normally a misdemeanor for which the statute of limitations
had already expired. The district Attorney Alvin Bragg prosecute the
cases of felony by asserting that the alleged falsification of
business records was done to cover up a federal crime.
Trump has not been convicted of such a crime, by
(24:15):
the way, which you would need to make that argument,
But who cares? And the prosecutors did not specify in
fact what crime was committed, nor did it have to
prove the elements thereof The former president maintained throughout the
trial that this was a form of election interference. He's
(24:37):
a political prisoner, a rigged trial in which a judge
that had been hand picked despite or because of as
many political conflicts, but regardless, Democrats got what they wanted.
There is almost no scenario in which a victory by
President Joe Biden would be seen as legitimate, in my opinion,
(25:02):
given the unprecedented trial and the potential jailing of his
political opponent. This is the Banana Republic. America has a putin.
His name is Joe Biden, and this is exactly what
you should expect from the radical socialist. I told you this,
(25:23):
and I've been saying it over and over again, and
now you will believe me if you didn't before. The
Democratic Party in America is dead. Okay, the Democratic Party
in America is dead. They are socialists, communists, and Marxist
masquer rating as Democrats. The Democratic Party that I knew,

that I grew up with, would have never allowed this
to happen because they actually cared somewhat about America.

Take a listen to what Judge Jennie said when she
initially reacted to the Trump verdict.

He talked about the fact that they're not going to
lose this. Ultimately, he says, We're going to keep fighting.
We know that an appeal will happen, he says, we
ultimately will win, and we'll have to see. Listen, if
he's still fighting that fight as president or as a
candidate who failed to rewin the White House after November,
that is yet to be seen. But in the meantime,
(26:25):
what price does he pay politically or does he not
pay politically as an appeals process, you know, plays out
and he now calls to the American people to deliver
their own verdicts in November.
Speaker 10 (26:35):
Well, I think that the American people will be struck
by this, as we are all struck by it in
different ways. I as a former prosecutor and a judge
who knows the state courts and and knows the state law,
I know that this is riddled with reversible error. I
know that there was no basis to charge this crime,
this alleged crime, and a resurrect that misdemeanor's based upon
(26:59):
non unan as federal violations of the election law or
of the tax law. So I mean, you've got that,
but there's also a gut punch to the criminal justice
system in the United States. People realize we are no
longer safe anymore. And it's because of the progressive left
agenda of making sure that we don't keep people in jail.
(27:22):
And you know they're out there with thirty three arrest
but you know they're still assaulting people, are violently attacking
people down the street here. But now we've got one
of the most famous individuals in the world, the former
president of the United States, who can be taken down
by a George Sorow's funded prosecutor on a crime that
(27:42):
doesn't exist, where not one person put his finger anywhere
near that bookkeeping and now they're going to return a
verdict and say, oh, he's guilty. He's definitely guilty. This
is a jury pool made out of eighty five to
ninety percent of the people are anti Trump. Not anybody
anti Trump. That's the jury pool.

We knew it.

We have a judge. It wasn't picked out of the
wheel or out of the drum, as all of us
judges are. And he was a judge who was selected
not just for the Trump organization, not just for.

This case, but.

Also for the another case that involves the who's the
guy who was the Bannon case as well. This is
an anti Trump judge, an anti Trump prosecutor. America is
going to respond to this. This is a gut punch.
We want to see politicians fight. We don't want to
see what they do in third world countries. To have

one side start indicting and jailing the other side. This
is not American, This is not who we are.

And to see this.

Happen before our eyes when we know that this is
not legitimate. When a defendant was not advised of the
crimes that he was charged with, they don't even know
what the crimes are until we get to the charge
of the jury. As at the prosecution and the judge,
with a wink and a nod, said, hey, i'll give
you that all accomplice testimony, even though we didn't charge
(29:09):
Donald Trump with eating and betting anyone else, I'll throw
it in as a matter of law, he's an accomplice.
And I'll throw in those federal election violations. So they'll
have to say, yeah, Donald Trump mustn't done it too,
and I'll throw in a hooker and a guy who's
a serial perjurer.

This is lunacy.

And I think that any red blooded American who sees
this is going to understand. This isn't what we do
to our political enemies. This is what they do in
kangaroo courts and third world countries. God help America. After
what I've seen in the last few weeks.
