Speaker 1 (00:00):
Joe Biden has dropped out of the presidential race.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
It is official.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Not only has Biden dropped out of the race, but
in his first letter to the country about him dropping
out of the race, he did not endorse Kamala Harris.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Why.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Maybe he needed leverage to get what he needs to
protect himself and his faith for their corruption with immunity.
This is a shocking moment in presidential history. It is
a shocking moment in political history. It is a shocking
moment for a president to not endorse his vice president
(00:46):
and then have to redo the statement after maybe he
got the deal done that he needed to get done
to then endorse her who is not endorsing Kamala Harris
is also shocking, meaning I think there's a very good
chance this could be a bloodbath of a fight at
the convention the Obamas and Pelosi. Let me say this again,
(01:10):
Obama and Pelosi do not endorse Kamala Harris. This is
twenty twenty four chaos, and it is just the beginning. Now,
if you are a conservative, before you get too excited
about what I just told you, you need to understand
that the lead that Donald Trump has right now over
(01:31):
Joe Biden is meaningless and worthless.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Let me also.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Say this, the lead that he has right now doesn't
matter at all for whoever the next candidate is. Why,
because the media is about to coordinate someone who is
the greatest thing they've ever introduced to America. Now, I've
got a lot more to say about this in a moment,
but I want to tell you about my friends over
(01:56):
at Patriot Mobile. For ten years, Patriot Mobile has been
America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. And when I say only,
I mean it. Patriot Mobile is an incredible company that
takes five percent of your bill every month and they
give it back at no extra cost to you to
conservative causes candidates and organizations that support our first, our
(02:20):
Second Amendment rights, religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and
our military, our veterans, and our first responders. Now you
may hear that and say, well, Ben, that's great, we
love that, right, Yay? Why does that matter so much? Well,
if you're with Big Mobile, who you're probably with right now,
you've actually been giving massive donations to Plan parenthood, radical
(02:41):
causes candidates at the local, state, and national level. You
probably didn't even realize that your money was going to
places like Planned Parenthood. But now you know, and the
question is are you going to stand up for what
you believe in and stop giving your money to candidates
and to those organizations that you cannot stand. Well, that's
(03:02):
why I switch to Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile is easy
to switch now. It is easier now than it's ever been.
And when I say easy, I'm not kidding when I
say it is easy. It is incredibly easy to make
the switch right now to Patriot Mobile.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
You can do it over the phone.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
All you got to do is call them the number
nine to seven to two Patriot call them, use my
name Ben.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
You're gonna get free activation. Make the switch.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
You keep your same cell phone, same cell phone number,
and every time you make a call, you, every time
you send a text, every time you pay your bill,
you're standing up for what you believe in. Nine seven
to two Patriot get free activation when you use the
offer code Ben or online at patriotmobile dot com slash Ben.
That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash Ben. Now, what you
(03:50):
are witnessing and what you are about to witness is
going to anger many of you that are conservatives, because
the Democratic Party and media are going to give probably
a two billion dollar in kind donation and free advertising
to Kamala Harris or Michelle Obama or Gavin Newsom, or
(04:11):
whoever the hell the Democrats end up choosing. They are
going to tell you that they are the greatest thing ever.
I'm going to use this analogy for you so that
you understand how massive perspective can change things, a difference
that it can make. Imagine you're on the greatest cruise
ship in the world, and imagine that cruise ship hits
(04:34):
an iceberg. Imagine that cruise ship is going down, and
you look out and you see these little dinghy in
the water. You see a little fishing boat that looks
like total and utter crap. You see another boat coming
that's a tiny, little, beat up little vessel that has
terrible seating and a small engine. But you know, on
(04:58):
the ship that you're on right now, you're going to
die if you don't get off that ship and think
about how good those other ships look. That is basically
what we're dealing with in the Democratic Party right now.
Joe Biden was the Titanic and it hit an iceberg,
and it was going down, and all these little crappy
(05:21):
boats are coming in, and by golly, if you're on
the Titanic, that is the most beautiful ship you've ever seen.
There will be no scrutiny about those ships. There will
be no scrutiny about the past maintenance of those ships.
There will be no scrutiny over what type of ship
it is or if it even has the licenses papers
(05:42):
needed to.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Be on the ocean.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
There will be no scrutiny of any of the people
that are piloting these little dinghies or vessels or crappy boats.
Because whoever ends up getting the nomination, they are going
to become God to the media and to the Democratic Party.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
When your ship is sinking.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Let me talk about the money that's about to flow
in to whoever it is that gets this nomination.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
When you're on a Titanic.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
And you're rich and you're like, well, I'm not giving
you any more of my money because this ship is sinking. Right,
very much like the Biden campaign, another ship comes to
save the day and you're willing to pay whatever it
takes to get off of that sinking ship. That is
exactly what is going to happen with whoever gets the nomination.
(06:37):
It is going to be a coronation whoever the Democratic
Party picks, and I think the front runner is at
this moment, Kamala Harris. She is Princess Diana to the
Democratic Party. She is a hero and a savior. Because
perspective is everything. Perspective is everything. It's basically like an
(07:03):
abusive relationship, You're willing to put up with a lot
more as long as the person isn't trying to kill you.
If you've ever been in that situation, right, it's better
than the alternative. Joe Biden was worst case scenario for
the Democratic Party. And now Joe Biden has officially decided
(07:23):
that he is going to step aside. Now I didn't
say resigned from the White House, which is a question
we should all be asking, and.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
We're going to deal with that coming up in a moment.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
I'm also going to be joined by a dear friend
of mine, United States Centater Ted Cruz is going to
join us in a moment to chat about all of this.
But before we even get to that, I want you
to hear how ABC News announced it to their audience
that Joe Biden is stepping aside.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Good afternoon, I'm Rachel Scott at ABC headquarters here in
New York. We are coming on the air at this
hour with breaking news. President Biden has just announced that
he is ending his reelection bid. Just moments ago, the
President tweeted out, it has been the greatest honor of
my life to serve as your president.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Well, it has been my intention.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
To seek reelection. I believe it is in the best
interest of my party and the country for me to
stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties
as president for the remainder of my term. I will
speak to the nation later this week in more detail
about my decision. There are still so many questions yet
to be decided, and so little time before those questions
need to be figured out. So I want to go
(08:31):
right away to our chief Washington correspondent, John Carl John.
We are just one hundred days out from the November election.
Pressure was building on the President to step aside. Now
he is announcing that.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
He has Rachel.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
It's an extraordinary moment in American history. This is the
first time we have seen a sitting president bow out
of re election since Lyndon Van Johnson in nineteen sixty eight,
and it comes Unlike Johnson's move, which happened in January
of that year, it comes after he has already gone
(09:05):
through a primary process, after he has already effectively won
the Democratic nomination, which now raises the huge questions, as
you allude to, of what happens next. In his letter
announcing this extraordinary decision, he mentions his vice President Kamala Harris.
He says, I want to thank my Vice President Kamala
(09:26):
Harris for her extraordin for being an extraordinary partner. But
he makes no reference about what he will do in
terms of an endorsement. Will he endorse, will he not endorse,
will there be an open process, what happens next? He
says he will talk to the nation in the coming
days more about his decision. But now the Democrats have
(09:47):
to figure out what happens. Who replaces Joe Biden as
the Democratic candidates the president.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
You listen to how they talk about this, and they
are not only elated, but they are estatic for the future.
And they don't even care who the future is. They
don't know who it's going to be. I don't know
if it's going to be Kamala's. She's the front runner
(10:15):
that doesn't mean it's gonna happen, but it's going.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
To be an all out war.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Now, let's talk for just a second about Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris is now the greatest thing the Democratic Party's
ever seen, even though she's a woman that dropped out
of the presidents of race and everyone hated her and
she was pulling it like three percent. But when your
ship is sinking, to use that analogy again, you'll jump
on any lifeboat, any rubber dinghy, It doesn't matter what
(10:42):
it is, because that is your savior in that moment.
This is the best case scenario for Kamala Harris. Let
me also tell Kamala Harris was not like by the
Democratic Party either and the Democratic elite. But right now
she is the little lifeboat that showed up. It may
be ugly, it may have a bad rock record of
the engine going out, but you're still gonna get on
(11:03):
it because it looks like a life boat that's going
to save your life. The other problem is the media
is going to give an inkind donation of what is
the equivalent of billions of dollars in ad buys. Okay,
billions of dollars in AD bys to whoever gets the nomination,
(11:24):
and they're gonna tell you that it is an amazing
candidate whoever the Democrats pick, And for the next thirty days,
you also have to understand about the disadvantage of Trump
campaign has Trump and Trump and Jdie Vance?
Speaker 2 (11:39):
How do you campaign like? Who do you campaign against?
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Do you spend your time campaigning against you know, Michelle Obama?
Do you spend your time campaigning against Gavin Newsom? Do
you spend your time campaigning against Kamala Harris?
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Or do you spend your.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Time campaigning against the Democratic Party and Joe Biden's record
in general? Now, do I think that if it is
Kamala Harris, there's ways that we can beat her and
Trump can win. Yes, But I don't want you to
be over confident tonight because coming out of Milwaukee, guess what,
no one's talking about that now, are they? The timing
of this to announce this on Sunday, the day after
(12:17):
the convention and suck out all the oxygen out of
the room was a brilliant political move by the Democratic Party.
The polls don't matter. That bump you normally get out
of a convention doesn't matter. Hell, Donald Trump and the
assassination attempt has now old news a week after it happened.
(12:38):
That's how big and catastrophic this news story is. And
the Democrats are going to ride this way for thirty days.
This convention the Democrat's going to have is a thirty
day convention. Now every day it's going to be this story. Now,
let me also remind you of this. Kama Harris is human.
Kama Harris. Maybe she gets the nomination. Okay, maybe it's
(13:00):
really hers. Maybe she gets it and she's able to
be the easy choice that people call us behind. Let's
start with that idea. Can we beat a Kamala Harris?
I believe we can. Why because she said a lot
of really stupid things in the past. Remember, Kamala Harris
is not that much better than Joe Biden.
Speaker 5 (13:21):
Listen, is today and yesterday was today, yesterday, Tomorrow will
be today tomorrow. So live today, so the future today
will be as the past today as it is tomorrow today.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
That's Kamala Harris, folks, that is the Kamala Harris that
we will be running against. That is Kamala Harris giving
an actual speech that is not a joke. If you're
laughing right now. You should be laughing because that's the
vice president I to America. That's how bad of a
candidate she is when we go after her one on one.
(14:06):
I'm going to play that again and I want you
to try to follow along with Kamala Harris. This is
Kamala Harris at a public speech.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
Today was today, yesterday, Tomorrow will be today tomorrow. So
live today, so the future today will be as the
past today as it is tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
That's Kamala Harris.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
I'm playing that for you to remind you of exactly
who Kamala Harris actually is. Do I believe we can
beat Kamala Harris?
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yes? I do.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Do I believe that Donald Trump can beat her on
the debate stage, Yes I do.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Do I believe that we can still win this race?
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Yes, but do not get overconfident because it is a
dead heat right now.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
This is a dead heat. It is not going to change.
It is a dead heat.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
And there are other, by the way, very smart Democrats
that are looking at this.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Let me give you an example.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
And before I give you all the details, I want
to take a moment and I want to ask for
your help. The wor in Israel started on October the seventh.
We have seen death and destruction in the Holy Land
for more than forty years. The International Fellowship of Christians
and Jews has been on the ground in Israel and
within hours of the war starting, and every day since,
(15:30):
they've been feeding the hungry and protecting the vulnerable. You
may not realize, but Israel is literally under attack now
on a daily basis, with rockets coming in. Those that
are surrounding Israel are doing everything they can to take
them out. The attacks continue in the North and the South,
but there are resilient survivors who bravely share their stories
(15:53):
in a series the Fellowship calls Faces of Iron. Survivors
like Danny, beloved daughter and her husband were burned alive
on October the seventh by Hamas Terras. Danny is a
commander of the volunteer fire and rescue group in his community.
Despite fire equipment nearby, Danny could do nothing as his
(16:14):
daughter's house burned and his daughter and her husband lost
their lives. Christians like you support Israel through the International
Fellowship of Christians and Jews. It's his support that helps
these survivors remain steadfast and strong to hear more stories
like this one and show your support for Israel. Please
stand with me and visit support IFCJ dot org. That's
(16:38):
support IFCJ dot org. Support IFCJ dot org. All right,
Josh Sapiro, remember that name. I'm gonna say it again.
It's not Ben Shapiro, It's Josh Shapiro. He's a dad
to four kids, married to his high school sweetheart, and
the governor of Pennsylvania and a moderate, not a ba
(17:00):
AOC extremists.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
This is what he tweeted out earlier.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
The contrast in this race could not be clear, and
the road to victory in November runs right through Pennsylvania,
where this collective work began. I will do everything I
can to help elect Kamala Harris as the forty seventh
President of the United States of America. The governor then
put out a larger statement, saying, when our founders came
together in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, now let me just
(17:29):
hit pause and go if you want to know what
it sounds like to do a deal, this is what
a guy sounds like that may have just had a
deal with Kamala Harris to be picked as vice president
and not actually challenge her at the convention African American woman.
He's a really smart guy to run with her, a
guy that understands how it works in Washington, how.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
To get things done.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
A guy that a state you desperately need, because if
you win Pennsylvania, where he's very popular as the governor,
then there's a very good chance you're going to win
the presidential election if you're a Democrat. If you lose Pennsylvania,
the math doesn't make sense, and it would be virtually
impossible to win the presidency if you lose Pennsylvania. So
(18:10):
if you look at this statement from Shapiro, the governor,
he's saying, Hey, I'm going to support who you know,
Kamwa Harris is the forty seventh president at America. It
sounds like there may have already been a deal that's
been done. So let me read you a statement. When
our founders came together in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to
declare our independence and establish our democracy, they did so
(18:31):
with a clear understanding that we will only succeed if
we were united. In the two hundred and forty eight
years since, our country and our people have been tested,
but the American spirit has always triumphed despite our individual differences,
when our safety was threatened, when our values and freedoms
were attacked, when the stakes were high, Americans have found
(18:53):
ways to come together and unite behind common cause and
common purpose. That's the lesson of our founder, who gathered
in Pennsylvania two and a half centuries ago, and it's
the lessons our party must learn for now from now.
I've known Harris for nearly two decades. We've both been prosecutors.
(19:14):
We both stood up for the rule of law. That's
a lie.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
We both fought for the people and delivered results. That's
also live.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
Come my heris is a patriot worthy of our support,
and she will continue the work of generations of Americans
who came before us to protect our union, protect our democracy,
and advance real freedom. She has served the country honorably
as vice president, and she is ready to be president.
The best path forward for the Democratic Party is to
(19:41):
quickly unite behind Harris and refocus on winning the presidency.
The contrast to this rates could not be clearer, and
the road to victory November runs through Pennsylvania, where the
collective work began.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
I will do everything I can to help well.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Let Kamala Harris, the forty seventh President of the United States,
signed Governor Shapiro. If you want to know who I
think the front runner is right now to be the governor,
I should say to be the vice president, it is
Shapiro of Pennsylvania. I think it's very clear deals are
getting done right now. Like you wouldn't believe, Joe Biden
(20:22):
has dropped out of the presidential race. The part that
really makes me laugh is, of course Joe Biden did
this on National ice Cream Day.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
You couldn't make it more fitting than that. You do
it on.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
National ice Cream Day, Joe Biden, they ask her to
give me an ice cream cone.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
I'm out.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Maybe that's how they bribed him to do it. Maybe
that was Kamala's plan all along. Let me also just
remind you of Kamala Harris. Okay, this is a woman
that was the border czar.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
She is the.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Presumptive Democratic nominee. So when she goes on TV and
she talks about the border, here's what she says about
the border.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
We've been to the border. So this whole, this whole,
this whole thing about the border.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
We've been to the border. We've been to the border.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
You haven't been to the border, and I haven't been
to Europe. And I mean, don't I don't understand the
point that you're making.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
Or we've been to the border. It's amazing, I don't
understand the point you're making.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
Lester Holt. This is the woman she was the borders
are and she says, we've been to the border. Quote,
we've been to the border. And then Holt says you
you haven't been to the border. And then she says,
I haven't been to Europe either. What's your point? You
just said you went to the border, ma'am. You just
lied to the American people. You just told the American
(21:49):
people that you had been to the border when you
hadn't and Lester Holt says you haven't been to the border.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Now, this is a woman that.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Believes in open borders. This is a woman that cannot
do her job. This is a woman that is a
failure as much as he is a failure. Let me
also remind you what Vice President Harris had to say
about Ukraine and the foreign policy. So let's say you
just say that was her having a bad day. Okay,
let's go with that for a second.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
Ukraine is a country in Europe.
Speaker 6 (22:24):
It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is
a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
So basically that's wrong.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
You, So basically that's wrong. That's Vice President Harris on
her analysis of Hey, let me give you some great
analysis here.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
Ukraine is a country in Europe.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is
a bigger country. I'm quoting foratim. Russia is a powerful country.
Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
So basically that's wrong. Well, I am so glad.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
I am so glad that she clarified that for all
of us that country in Europe. Let me give you
a flashback, by the way, about border security, Kama Harris
raised her hand in favor of decriminalizing illegal border crossings
when she was on the debate stage.
Speaker 7 (23:27):
What was the question we had a very spirited debate
on this stage last night on the topic of decriminalization
of the border. If you'd be so kind, raise your
hand if you think.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
It should be a civil offense.
Speaker 7 (23:39):
Rather than a crime to cross the border without documentation.
Can we keep the hands up so we could see them.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Kama Harris her hand raised high in the air with
Joe Biden. So if you think that Kamala Harris is,
you know, and they're gonna I'm telling you, they're gonna
try to turn her into a mix between Mother Teresa
and Princess Die. If she gets it, they'll give her
two billion three billion in free advertising. This is going
(24:12):
to be a Hey, the ship you were on was sinking.
It was the Titanic, and I got a dinghy. That sucks,
but at least it's better than what you had before.
That's what this is going to be. I also believe
now that this is also an issue of the Democratic
Party just being so desperate.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
You're in the middle of the desert. You need water,
you need food.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
You'll take it from anyone, right, You'll take it from
the devil.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
And this is their devil.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
This is the deal they were willing to make with
the devil to get rid of Joe Biden. Nobody I
will say it again, likes Kamala Harris. She cannot keep
a staff, she cannot keep people in and around her
staff happy. They're quitting on her all the time. She
is a disaster. Her staff knows that she is a disaster.
(25:12):
And Kamala Harris is an individual that slid into this
position for one reason, and one reason only. Joe Biden
had a race problem. You may not remember that Joe
Biden had a major race problem. Joining me now to
talk about all of this is a dear friend of mine.
(25:33):
I co host a podcasts with him, Verdict with Ted Cruz.
Senator Ted Cruz joins me now, Senator, we were just
playing some clips of some of Kamala's most brilliant moments
in life. One of them you tweeted out was her
talking about the border and she's like, we've been to
the border.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
We've been to the border. No you haven't.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Well I haven't been to Europe either, but you know, haha,
laugh laugh. This is a person, however, that the Democratic
Party going to try to sell is the greatest thing
we've ever seen in a savior.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Your reaction to this news.
Speaker 6 (26:07):
Well, the Democrats are gathering around her, at least Joe
Biden is. The Clintons are, and I think she's going
to end up being their nominee. I think the only
person who could possibly push her aside as Michelle Obama,
and at least right now there appears to be no
effort on her part to do that.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Let's talk about how we got to this point.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
You predicted on our show, and if you haven't ever
listened to it, download at Verdict with Ted Cruz wherever
you get your podcasts ten months ago that Joe Biden
would not in fact be the nominee at the end
of the day.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
You believed it, then.
Speaker 6 (26:47):
Why, well, it was clear that his metal capacity had
diminished powerfully. It was clear every day it was getting worse,
and I didn't believe he was going to be able
to go to the distance. I also thought that Democrats
were getting more and more nervous, and the canary and
the coal mine was you started seeing the stakeholders of
(27:10):
the Democrat Party floating attacks on them, and in particular
the corporate media. Look the corporate media today, they are
functionally part of the Democrat Party. They are the left
wing of the Democrat Party. And so when you and
I on the podcast ten months ago laid out we
did the entire podcast where I predicted that Joe Biden
would withdraw from the ballot sometime around the Democrat convention
(27:35):
sometime this summer. We predicted that ten months ago, and
I got to say the reaction when we laid out
that predictions. The corporate media ridiculed you and me as
moon back conspiracy theorists. They said it was, you know,
tinfoil hat type stuff, and it played out exactly as
we predicted. I'll point out we made the prediction again
(27:58):
the night of the presidential debate between Trump and Biden,
and that night you and I did a podcast immediately
when the debate was over. We recorded the podcast and
I said that night, this I believe will go down
in history as the most consequential presidential debate in the
history of our country. Why and what I predicted the
(28:20):
night of the debate is this debate will remove Joe
Biden from the ballot. He will not be on the
ballot in November because his performance was so disastrously bad
that the Democrats and the corporate media, which is as
I said, completely interwoe it into the Democrat party were
freaking out. And that night I predicted within three weeks
(28:43):
they would drive Joe Biden off the ballot. Well, today
they've done.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
So let's talk about how this unfolded, and it was
pretty surreal. You first had this letter come out from
Joe Biden saying, hey, I'm gonna drop out of this
presential race and did not if you read that letter
endorse Kamala Harris correct. Then you had a statement come
(29:07):
out later on social media that he was endorsing Kamala Harris.
Why the delay there and was it because he needed
more guarantees before he would endorse.
Speaker 6 (29:17):
Well, look, as you know, you and I did an
entire emergency podcast today that is just out that does
a deep dive into this question. And so if you
want to go deep into this download Verdict with Ted Cruz,
you can. You can get it right now and get
those questions answered at real death. But listen, there was
a fairly short window. His first statement, he thanked Kamala Harris,
(29:40):
but he didn't endorse her. And what I believe happened
is that the powers that be in the Democrat Party
put enormous pressure on him, pounded the living daylights out
of him, and he quickly put out a tweet saying
I endorse her. I think it listened. The Democrat Party
is a command and control party. They follow orders, and
so what we saw happening and it began with the debate.
(30:04):
We saw one after another after another major player in
the Democrat Party come out against Joe Biden.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
So we saw.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
We saw Nancy Pelosi, we saw Chuck Schumer, we saw
Hakeem Jeffries, we saw senator after senator. We saw lots
of Republican congressman or Democrat congressman rather coming out against
Joe Biden. And understand, not a one of them did
it because they're worried that we should not have someone
who has dementia as the commander in chief. Not a
(30:35):
one of them was worried about someone who's senile and
can't tie his shoes having a finger on the nuclear button.
They were all okay with that. The reason they freaked
out is simple. The American people watched that debate and said,
holy cow, this guy is is not there.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
He's gone.
Speaker 6 (30:51):
And listen, any one of us who's had an elderly parent,
your grandparent, a relative, You've seen what the end of
life can be, and it can be sad, and Joe
Biden is well in the midst of it. And after
that debate, nobody could argue to the contrary. And so
the reason all the Democrats jump ship is they were
(31:12):
afraid they're going to lose.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
How the hell do you run against somebody you don't
know who is going to be the nominee between now
and the convention, because you can't run against Joe Biden anymore?
Speaker 2 (31:25):
How do you do it? What do you do?
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Do you run against Kama twenty percent of the time, you
run against News some ten percent time, you run against
Shapiro another five percent? What in the hell does the
Trump campaign do for the next thirty days.
Speaker 6 (31:37):
Well, let me first underscore just how historic this moment is.
This has never happened in the history of our country.
We have never had one of the two major party
nominees drop out anywhere close to this close to the election.
We're one hundred and six days away from the general election.
That the closest analog we have is the nineteen sixty
eight presidential election where lby Lynnon Vaine Johnson was the
(32:01):
incumbent president, the Democrat, and he opted not to run
for reelection. Joe Biden now joins him as the second
incumbent president to opt not to run for reelection. But
LBJ did so much much earlier in the cycle. There
was a full on primary. At the end of the day,
Hubert Humphrey the vice president one but one after only
a very contested race. Interestingly enough, in that cycle there
(32:25):
was someone named Robert F. Kennedy who was running who
tragically was shot and assassinated. We now have RFK Junior,
his son, running this cycle. So there are eerie parallels
in sixty eight as this year, the Democrat convention is
in Chicago. That convention was an absolute mess. It was chaotic,
there were angry left wing protesters outside, there were violent
(32:46):
clashes outside, and it contributed to a landslide victory of
Richard Dixon in that election, and the Republicans we may
well see history repeat itself once again. So what does
the Trump campaign do now? I would say about forty percent,
you run against Kamala Harris. I think Kamala Harris at
this point is very likely to be the Democrat nominee,
(33:09):
and so about forty percent you run against her. In
about sixty percent, you just run against the democrats failed agenda.
And understand, this policy record is not just Joe Biden's,
it's not just Kamala Harris's, but it is every Democrat
in the Senate, It's every Democrat in the House, All
of them have voted repeatedly in favor of trillions and
spending trillions in debt, printing money we don't have inflation
(33:32):
that is hammering working men and women. All of them
have voted repeatedly in favor of the open borders and
the invasion we have on our southern border. All of
them have voted in favor of releasing criminals from jail
and defunding the police and undermining law enforcement. And all
of them have voted in favor of this incredibly disastrous
(33:53):
foreign policy that includes undermining our friends and allies, including
especially the State of Israel, and all also appeasing and
showing weakness to our enemies. So in the Senate, every
Democrat senator has voted in favor of Biden and Harris's
disastrous policy of flowing over one hundred billion dollars to
(34:13):
the Ayatola Kambani and Iran. Iran, in turns, provides ninety
percent of the funding to AMAS and ninety percent of
the funding to Hesbala. So I think what you do
is forty percent Kamala sixty percent. Their record is a disaster.
It's hurt Americans across the board, and it doesn't matter
which widget you drop into the slot. They've got to
defend their record, and the record is a train wreck.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
Final question for you, and it's an important one. We
are winning in every poll against Biden. That's obviously why
Biden dropped out. I think this is going to be
a complete reset. You and I just spent time did
several podcasts from Milwaukee, and your concern, as you and
I talked about on the show, was we were over
confident coming out of there. Yes, I think this campaign
(34:58):
is completely The numbers we we have right now are
completely worthless.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
In thirty days.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
It's a whole, brand new campaign with all brand new
polling data.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
We have seen. Everything's happened to this point doesn't matter.
Speaker 6 (35:09):
Am I right or wrong? Look, that's exactly right. The
polls today do not matter. And the Democrats deliberately waited
to do this until after the Republican Convention. The convention
was the best Republican convention I've ever seen. We are
more unified than we have ever been. I assume Trump
will get a bounce out of it. Typically the historical
average is about four points, but this announcement is designed
(35:32):
to cut that off and I got to say, on
one level, I was encouraged how unified we were in Milwaukee,
but another level, it scared me because I'm worried. I
don't want Republicans to be overconfident. There was an air
of celebration in Milwaukee, and frankly, the time for celebrating
is after election day, not now. Now is the time
for hard work. We're going to have effectively a month
(35:54):
long Democrat convention where they're going to dominate the news
saying how great all their choices are. That is dangerous.
We need to rally behind Donald Trump to get reelected.
And I'll point out I'm running in a very tough
reelect in Texas where a month of relentless corporate media
pr for the Democrats is dangerous.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
So let me encourage folks.
Speaker 6 (36:14):
