Speaker 1 (00:01):
The world has gone insane on so many different levels,
and I'm going to deal with several of those in
today's show because they're important. One, this prisoner swap with
Russia is now just saying to anybody in the world,
grab Americans and you can get something for them. We

(00:21):
are negotiating with terrorists, and that is something we used
to never do, which kept Americans safe, but now this
administration is doing it. The last administration did it with
bo Bergdal when they traded actual terrorists for him when
he was a deserter, and the Obama administration, and it's
disgusting now to see just how weak America is on

(00:41):
the international stage, and that's going to put everyone's life
at risk. I'm going to deal with that. The second
issue that I also want to talk about is the
mastermind of nine to eleven, a man by the name
of kleet Schik Mohammad. He is the man that plan
and orchestrat nine eleven, but not just on eleven, many
other tarist texts where they there was brutal butchering of

(01:03):
innocent people, including the elderly, women and children. A man
who by the way, has no problem beheading people. He
has now been given a plea deal, a sweetheart deal,
so that the liberals can close down Guantanamo Bay. He
is not going to get the death pilding now. He

(01:24):
will live the rest of his life to whatever age
that is in a jail cell. And we have not
killed the man who planned nine to eleven. Now, he's
the mastermind of nine to eleven, came up and orchestrate
all of it, hired the people, and then also committed
horrific atrostes with his own hands directly as well. This

(01:47):
administration has now given him a sweetheart deal, better than
Hunter Biden got in court. It is vile. It is
a slap in the face to every family member who
lost a live one on nine to eleven, and after
nine to eleven fighting the Wan terror, every serviceman and
woman that was killed by al Qaeda members, it is

(02:08):
a slap in their face because he was very much
involved after nine to eleven as well. We're also going
to talk about that. And then when I say the
world's gone insane, let me just say what I'm witnessing
at the Olympics, And I'm going to talk specifically to
women tonight because women need to understand this. Women are

(02:32):
going to have to start standing up for other women
and women's sports because the Olympics have even been taken
over by men. We used to put men in prison
for beating women. Now we give them gold medals apparently
in our Olympic Games. Let me say that again. We
used to put men in prison for beating women. We

(02:53):
used to tell men, under no circumstances are you to
hit a woman. How we are given men gold medals
for literally beating the living you know what out of
women and celebrating them in the Olympics because of the
glad you know, LGBTQI A must accept everyone insanity. Algeria

(03:22):
man won her opening Olympic boxing match. He won, I
should say, and we make that very clear son as
she this is a dude won the opening Olympic boxing
match when Italy's Angella Carini quit the match after just
forty six seconds of having a man beat her. This

(03:49):
dude was, by the way, disqualified from the twenty twenty
three World Championships. Why because he was a dude. He
failed an un specified gender eligibility test. And then this
dude gets to go to the Olympics and gets to
go represent a country in the Olympics at the Paris

(04:13):
Olympics and is beating the living you know what out
of women. Now, this incredible woman from Italy refused to
shake the man's hand after the decision was announced, and
she cried in the ring before leaving. And I will
say this again, this delusion must end. This is disgusting.

(04:35):
It's the purest form of evil that is unfolding right
before our eyes in this country. It is in the world.
I should say that we're allowing men to take over
women's sports. Whenever some deranged man says I'm going to
identify as a woman, someone is going to die because

(05:00):
as a man is going to hurt a woman to
the point where they have a medical event that will
take their life. And boxing has got to be close
to the top of that list. This is the purest
form of evil. I think it's the devil. I think
it is sadistic. I think it's disgusting, and the fact

(05:20):
that we are celebrating men beating the living crap out
of women is one of the most delusional and I
think one of the purest forms of evil that we've
seen in sports that should have never happened. And women
have got to wake up and fight this. I'm gonna
have even more to say about that in a moment.

(05:42):
Let me also tell you about another fight that's happening
right now in this country, and that is a fight
for your dollars. There are a lot of liberal companies
out there that love knowing that you're paying them a
bill every month. Cell phone companies are at the top
of that list. It's a big bill for many Americans.
It's one of their top ones outside of their car
of living a house not right or rent. And they

(06:04):
take your money and they funnel it to liberal causes, candidates,
and radical organizations. That is why Patriot Mobile more than
ten years ago. Patriot Mobile was started when they found
out where Big Mobile was sending your money to hardcore
leftists extremist organizations, and they say, we're going to start
a company that actually supports conservative causes, and that's their mission,

(06:25):
and that's what they've done Patriot Mobile. They take about
five percent of your bill every month when you pay
it at no extra cost to you, and they give
it back to conservative organizations that stand up for our
First and our Second Amendment rights, that stand up for
the rights of unborn children, and that stand with our
military veterans, our first responders, and our wounded warriors. This

(06:49):
is why I want you to switch, and switching as evisy.
The other thing is technology has changed. Technology right now
is incredible. You're going to use the same towers you're
on right now, which means you get the same coverage
you're used to. You can switch by calling them. That's it,
that's all you gotta do. You'll keep your same cell
phone number, keep your same cell phone you have now,
or you can upgrade to a new phone if you
want to call them, use my name Ben. You're gonna

(07:11):
get free activation. And then every time you pay your bill,
every time you make a call, you know you're sitting
up for what you believe in nine seven to two
Patriot is their number nine seven to two Patriot or
nine to seven to two Patriot. That's nine seven to
two Patriot. Or online at patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson.
That's Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. Use that promo code ferguson.

(07:35):
You'll also get a free month of service patriotmobile dot
com slash ferguson. Now, let me just go back to
what I was saying very quickly about women. Women are
going to have to empower their daughters. Grandmothers are going
to have to empower their daughters to empower their daughters.

(07:56):
That this delusion must end. Logan Paul put it this way.
So this is the purest form of evil and folding
right before your eyes. A man was allowed to beat
up a woman on a global stage, crushing her life's
dream while fighting for her deceased father.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
This is a man.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
These are women that are being forced into the ring
with men to compete against biological men. And because we've
been silent for far too long, and by the way,
fathers are going to have to stand up for their daughters.
Women are going to maybe have to walk out and
make people lose money because you got to understand this

(08:36):
is about money. This is all about money. And advertisers
are advertising during the boxing where a man's beaten the
living crap out of a woman. And if you start
contacting those advertisers saying I'm done with you forever and
you mean it and it turns into boycotts, you're going
to do it. If they air men in women's sports
on TV and you email ESPN and you say to

(08:59):
the average during the broadcast of that track and field event.
We're done. If universities and the donors stand up to
these universities and say into the NCAA and say, hey,
you allow men to infiltrate women's NCAA sports, we are
done with you. But women are going to have to
organize like never before or this will continue to happen.

(09:24):
And for some reason, far too many women have been
far too kind about allowing men in women's locker rooms
and men to act like women and then beat women,
whether it's swimming, whether it's track and field, whether it's
the Olympics. I mean the idea that we're living in
a world now where the Olympic Games are allowing men

(09:45):
to beat women and then that is to be celebrated
as an Olympic sport. I want to be clear about this,
and I'm going to say this last thing. We outlaw
things like dog fighting and cock fighting for reason because
it's barbarican and humane. If you can go to prison
for fighting dogs, why don't men go to prison when

(10:10):
they beat up women? Why are we celebrating it as
a sport. It should be looked at the same way.
And if you don't believe me. I don't care. I
think you're an idiot if you don't stand up for
women and demand that men be kicked out of every
women's station. It's called women's sports for reason, it's called

(10:32):
women's boxing for reason, It's called the women's swimming Championship
for a reason. Stop letting men control that world. Like
I can't believe I'm more of a feminist than the
liberals are right now that it claimed to be feminists.
But moms and grandmothers and fathers are going to have
to take this to the next level because otherwise someone's
going to die. All right, I want to move now

(10:55):
to the second part that I said was just again
the world's gone insane. This time it's at the hands
of the Biden administration, who have now done a plea
deal to spare the life of not just a terrorist,
but the lead terrorists, the mastermind behind nine to eleven.
If you want to read a book about this individual,

(11:16):
and I would encourage you to do it so you
understand the history behind this man, there's a book by
Richard Mender called Mastermind. It is a book that was
written right after nine to eleven so that people understood
that Hey, Osama bin Lauden was the you know, the
famous sexy name to use to talk about al Qaeda.
But if you want to know who the butchers are,

(11:38):
it's not just Osama bin Laden. Khalid Sheik Muhammad is
a guy, and let me tell you what his charges were.
He was charged with first degree murder two thousand, nine
hundred and seventy seven counts because of the attacks on
nine to eleven. He was charged with attacking civilians. He

(12:00):
was charged with attacking civilian objects. He was charged with
intentionally causing serious bodily injury, murder, and violation of the
law of war. He was charged with destruction of property
and violation of the law of the law of war,
hijacking or hazarding a vessel or aircraft. He was in

(12:23):
charge with terrorism. He was then charge with providing material
support to terrorism. Khalid Sheik Muhammad, he was charged with
first degree murder. No doubt about it. He was responsible
for the two nine and seventy seven people that died.
But he was also actually responsible for even more than that.

(12:47):
He was an individual that was waterboarded. By the way,
I don't believe he was. I want to be clear
about this. I don't actually think he was tortured. The
Left said he, oh, he was tortured, and that's part
of the reason why they said that we need to
have a plea deal and he shouldn't face the death penalty.
The idea that this guy's been alive since we caught
him after nine to eleven is absurd because not only

(13:08):
was he a member of osamban Laden's terrorist organization Al Qaeda,
he also led al Qata's propaganda operations starting in nineteen
ninety nine until late two thousand and one. Khalidchech Muhammad
was captured on March first, two thousand and three in
a Pakistani city by a combined operation by the US

(13:31):
Central Intelligence Agency as well as Pakistan's Enter Services Intelligence
basically their same thing, their CIA, and after his capture,
Mohammed was extradited. Basically he was sent to the secret
CIA prison sites in Afghanistan, then Poland where he was

(13:51):
interrogated again. There's people to say he was tortured. I
believe it was torture of a guy that does what
he did on nine to eleven. I'm sorry, waterboarding is
nothing compared to what he did to the people on
nine to eleven. That had to decide if they were
going to burn to death or jump out of the
twin towers. The children and women and kids that were
on those flights that he took down knowing they were
going to die. By December of two thousand and six,

(14:14):
he had been transferred to military custody after we caught
him and went to Guantanamo Bay. In March of seven,
Muhammad confessed to mastermining, but we already knew this to
the September eleventh attacks. He also confessed to masterminding the

(14:35):
Richard Reid shoe bombing attempt to blow up an airliner.
He also confessed to the two thousand and two Bali
bombings in Indonesia, where countless people were killed. But let's
go back further in history. Khalid Sheik Muhammad also was
the mastermind of the nineteen ninety three World Trade Center bombing.

(15:00):
He was the man who was in charge of the
beheading of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter, and
various other attacks that he planned that were foiled. He
also was around for numerous other terrorist crimes. He was

(15:20):
charged in February eight with war crimes and murder by
a US military commission at Guantanama Bay for what I
just mentioned to you. Everyone knew the guy was going
to get the death penalty, except for the Liberals that
decided to save his life. In twenty twelve, a former
military prosecutor criticized the proceedings as unsupportable due to confessions

(15:43):
gained under what the weak Leaf called torture waterboarding. Waterboarding,
I'm sorry to a guy like le Chick Muhammad is
just a part of life. I will say that forever,
I've said it consistently, that is not torture. And before
I give you all the details, I want to take
a moment and I want to ask for your help.
The wor in Israel started on October the seventh. We

(16:05):
have seen death and destruction in the Holy Land for
more than forty years. The International Fellowship of Christians and
Jews has been on the ground in Israel and within
hours of the war starting, and every day since, they've
been feeding the hungry and protecting the vulnerable. You may
not realize, but Israel is literally under attack now on
a daily basis, with rockets coming in. Those that are

(16:29):
surrounding Israel are doing everything they can to take them out.
The attacks continue in the North and the South, but
there are resilient survivors who bravely share their stories. In
a series the Fellowship calls Faces of Iron Survivors like Danny.
His beloved daughter and her husband were burned alive on

(16:50):
October the seventh by Hamas Terras. Danny is a commander
of the volunteer fire and rescue group in his community,
despite fire equipment nearby, and he could do nothing as
his daughter's house burned and his daughter and her husband
lost their lives. Christians like you support Israel through the
International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. It's his support that

(17:12):
helps these survivors remain steadfast and strong. To hear more
stories like this one and show your support for Israel.
Please stand with me and visit support IFCJ dot org.
That's support IFCJ dot org, support IFCJ dot org. Now

(17:35):
you fast forward to where we are now, and you
say to yourself, how does Khaleg shik Muhammad, who did
all of these things, a man that had a manifesto,
a man that killed countless people around the world, a
man that killed children, killed women, killed the elderly, killed infants,

(17:59):
beheaded report, how does that man get a plea deal
to not go to prison. How does that guy get
a plea deal to spare his life? One simple reason.
The Biden administration wants to close Guantanamo Bay, and the

(18:22):
President as so now as he is his obsessed was
saying I closed it down. He thinks that's a feather
in his cap, the same way that he was obsessed
on the anniversary of nine to eleven of getting US
out of Afghanistan, saying I'm the guy that ended America's
longest war, even though that's turned into one of the
worst political decisions, national security decisions, and disasters on the

(18:43):
world stage. As everyone in the world now knows, they
can do whatever the hell they want because we have
a weak president. What, by the way, message does it
send to the world that the nine to eleven mastermind
KSM and two other terrorists awaiting trial strike a plea
deal so they can close the damn base. These two
other terrorists that were being held there will be spared

(19:03):
the death penonty under a deal with prosecutors. It was
revealed the announcement was a bitter pill quote unquote to
swallow for victim's families who have anxiously awaited the conclusion
of the case for nearly twenty four years, many of
whom felt death was the only appropriate punishment for the
perpetrators of these heinous attacks. A spokesman for the Office

(19:28):
of Military Commissions, which is prosecuting the case, confirmed it
had entered into a pre trial agreements with Kalichik Muhammad,
the accused principal architect of the al Qaeda attacks, and
two alleged co conspirators, all of whom have been held
at the US military prison in Guantonamo Bay, Cuba since
two thousand and three. Quote in exchange for the removal

(19:52):
of the death penony as a possible punishment, these three
accused have agreed to plead guilty to all the charges
charged offenses, including the murder of nine and seventy six
people listed in the chart sheet. This is a letter
signed by the real Admiral Aaron Rudd, a chief prosecutor

(20:12):
for the OMC, and sent to the victims' families that
were told that yes, they killed your kids, your parents,
your grandparents, whoever it was, but they're not going to
die for what they did. News of the death ponty
was no longer on the table for these suspects whose
actions clearly killed nearly three thousand people in the worst

(20:33):
hair attack and on US soil in American history, came
as more than just a gut punch to the victim's family,
but just pure rage. I'm very disappointed. We waited patiently
for a long time. I wanted the death pony. The
government has failed us, that is what Daniel d Alaia,
whose twin brother John was one of the twenty three

(20:55):
New York City Police officers they were killed in the
day of the attacks, he said to The New York Post.
Retired police officer Jim Smith, husband of Maria Smith, the
only female NYPD officer, who died on September eleventh, said
he felt like he had been kicked in the balls.

(21:16):
Quote the prosecution. The families have waited twenty three years
to have our day in court, to put on record
what these animals did to our loved ones. They took
that opportunity away from us, because remember, without a trial,
you don't get to go in there. You don't get
to see him, you don't get to talk, you don't
get to do anything. They just it all goes away.
You'll never see in court the person's d trial that

(21:37):
killed your family members. Retired cop Kathy Vigiana, wife of
an NYPD detective Joseph who was killed on nine to eleven, said,
I am angry and disappointed that enemy combatants who killed
thousand Americans in our homeland are now able to exploit
the US judicial system to their benefit, receiving support from

(21:59):
America and taxpayers for shelter, food, and health care for
the rest of their lives. They committed the worst crime
in the history of our country. They should receive the
highest penalty. I couldn't agree more. Another victims family members
said why do these deals get done? One simple reason.
Joe Biden wants to close down GITMO and these woosy

(22:23):
leftists who believe that men can become women didn't like
the fact that Khalid Sheik Muhammad got watered poured on
his face as he was leaning backwards. I want to
also just get in real quick to what center Ted
Cruz had to say. We were doing our podcasts earlier
on the closing of GITTMO, and I had a lot

(22:44):
of legal questions for him. One, if Trump is elected,
what happens too? Could you undo this plea deal? And
the legal aspects is in three What message is listending
to the American people who gave their life fighting these
terrorists and those who's lives were taken on nine to eleven.
It was important conversations. Also something we warned you about

(23:05):
a year ago on this show and on Verdict that
the show I co host was Senator Ted Cruz, and
we a year ago did a show about the real
possibility of a plea deal getting done to spare to
save the life of the nine to eleven mastermind, just
so that Joe Biden could close down Guantanamo Bay. Take
a listen, Senator, let's just talk about a year ago,

(23:30):
almost to the day, you and I did this show
warning after letters went to family members of the victims
of nine to eleven, that there was a possibility of
a plea deal with Khalid Chak Muhammad, the mastermind of
nine to eleven, that he his life would be spared
if he just said, Okay, fine, I'll plead guilty the charges. Now,

(23:52):
to be clear about who Khalid Chak Muhammad is. He's
not just the mastermind of nine to eleven. This is
a guy that has confessed to at least thirty one
horrific and barbarica attacks, including the nineteen ninety three bombing
of the World Trade Center. On top of that, he
was the guy that was there with the beheading of

(24:15):
the Wall Street Journal reporter General Pearl. He was the
mastermind behind the two thousand and two Bali bombings. And
he was a man that was in charge with a
plan to blow up the Panama Canal. He had active
plans to assassinate Jimmy Carter, and a plot to blow

(24:35):
up suspension bridges in New York City. Now, these are
just some of the things that he was working on.
He clearly knew how to kill people. He killed women, children,
he killed police officers, firemen, first responders, and he was
also accountable for killing American troops overseas after nine to eleven.

(24:56):
And this administration just spared his life. Why would they
make this deal except for the fact they say we
just want to close down GETMO.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Well, sadly, that's exactly it. It's all politics, all the time.
And a year ago, last August, we devoted an entire
podcast to focusing on the very real risk that this
was going to happen, that the Biden Harris White House,
this is what they wanted to have happened, and they
announced just this week that Khalid shake Muhammad they've they've
cut a plea deal with him and two other co conspirators,

(25:28):
Walid Mohammed, Sali Mubarik bin Atash where that's a mouthful,
and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi uh both both of whom,
along with with Khalid shak Mohammad, have been in Guantanamo
Bay since two thousand and three. And understand Joe Biden

(25:49):
and Kamala Harrison. By that, I mean really the left
wing radicals that surrounds them, because I don't know that
Joe Biden wants anything other than just to have his
jello at four pm. But the radicals that run this
White House and that are now trying to have a
coronation for Kamala Harris, they came in with the objective
they hate Gittmo. They want to shut it down, they
hate that it exists, and in order to shut it down,

(26:14):
this was the deal they wanted to cut. And understand,
look nine to eleven, A lot of our listeners are
young enough that you weren't alive on September eleventh. What
happened on September eleventh, two thousand and one, two nine
hundred and seventy six people were murdered. It remains the

(26:36):
most horrific terrorist attack in the history of our country.
And colleague Shaik Muhammad planned it and directed those executing it.
And for this administration to say the death penalty is
no longer a possibility, We're we're going to agree that

(26:56):
you can go, you can leave Gitmo, you can go
to an American prison, and you will not face capital punishment. Well,
let me quote retired police officer Jim Smith. He is
the husband of Moira Smith, who was the only female
NYPD officer who died in September eleventh. He said, when

(27:19):
he heard this news, he felt like he'd been kicked
in the balls. And here's his quote. The prosecution and
families have waited twenty three years to have our day
in court to put on the record what these animals
did to our loved ones. They took that opportunity away
from us. They committed the worst crime in the history

(27:39):
of our country. They should receive the highest penalty. Or
here's another quote. This is from retired cop Kathy Vigiana,
who's the wife of NYPD detective Joseph Vigiana, who was
also killed on September eleventh. Here's what she said, quote,
I'm angry and disappointed that enemy combatants who killed thousands

(28:00):
of Americans in our homeland are now able to exploit
the US judicial system to their benefit, receiving support from
American taxpayers for shelter, food, and healthcare for the rest
of their lives.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
You know, you get your head around this, and it's
all about a feather in the cap, and that's how
they look at it. The White House. They were obsessed
with getting US out of Afghanistan on the anniversary of
nine to eleven. It cost Americans lives at the airport
and countless people operators that risk their lives to save

(28:37):
American lives, translators and others who were beheaded and tortured
and killed after we left so abruptly, and they were
kill lists that were clearly put out for them. They
wanted to close quickly, not because it was the safest
way to do it, to draw down in Afghanistan, but
because it was a political moment that they wanted to

(28:58):
say on the anniversary of nine to eleven, I ended
America's longest war. That was the goal for Joe Biden,
that's what he did. And they've been obsessed with closing
Guantanamo Bay. And phase one of getting this deal done
was the obsession with the left that, oh, we waterboarded
Khalie Shike Muhammad. Yeah, the guy knew about a lot
of plans and a lot of terrorist attacks, and he

(29:18):
knew where we assumed asam Bin lad and other tarists were.
And they said, well, you should feel sorry for him.
That should never happened. He should get a plea deal.
And then they just said, we're just going to run
out the clock here. And then we gave him lawyers,
and we paid incredible amounts of money for his legal
defense team with our tax dollars, and then we gave
him incredible medical care and all sorts of other benefits.
And now we're gonna, as you mentioned, keep it live

(29:40):
the rest of his life. But I go back to
the victims here, and this is what pisces me off.
There are tens of thousands of family members that get
a damn letter in the mail, YEP form letter, a
form letter that just says, hey, the guy that killed
your family, I'm sorry your dad or your mom or
your grandmother had or your son, your daughter had to

(30:00):
choose between burning to death and the twins towers or
jumping out the window. The guy who planned that is
going to live now, because we want to just move
this off the books and we want to close down
Gitmo for another moment like we had in Afghanistan that,
by the way, turn out to be a disaster, and
they get a damn form letter.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
Well, listen, you're right that this White House, Joe Biden
and Kamala Harris, what characterizes every decision they make is
they put politics first. They put their radical partisan agenda
above the interest of Americans. Why do we have open borders.
We have open borders because they want to stay in power,
because they wanted to let eleven and a half million

(30:42):
illegal aliens in because they think they'll vote for Democrats
either now, some illegally now and the others in the
future when they greet the madnesty and give them voting rights.
So if in the meantime people have to die, that's
a perfectly acceptable risk from their perspective. Why did we
pull out of Afghanistan so incompetently in a way that
resulted in thirteen servicemen and women being murdered because, as

(31:03):
you just said, they wanted to announce we were out
of Afghanistan on the anniversary of nine to eleven. It's
all about the political announcement. And here this was about
appeasing the leftists who hate the fact that Guantanamo exists
at all. Look. The Police Benevolent Association president Patrick Hendry

(31:25):
says he was inundated with calls from officers families after
he learned of the plea deal, and he said it
was quote heartbreaking and infuriating. And here's what he said,
quote their loved one sacrifice is being disrespected and they
are being victimized all over again. These individuals masterminded an

(31:45):
attack on our nation that not only claimed two nine
hundred and seventy seven lives that day, but thousands more
in the years since. Their crime merits the ultimate punishment.
There should be no plea and absolutely no leniency. And
I'll tell you what the firefighters feel the same way.

(32:07):
The Uniform Firefighters Association President Andrew Ansbrot said that FDNISE
thousands of firefighters feel quote betrayed and disgusted. And here's
what he said, quote three hundred and forty three New
York City firefighters died on that day, and hundreds have

(32:31):
died since then. We're still losing three firefighters a month
to the effects of nine to eleven Ground Zero. We
feel betrayed and disgusted that they will not face the
ultimate justice of the death penalty. That these terrorists were
offered a plea deal which will allow them to live

(32:51):
under old age with contact with their families.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
I pause because I'm angry. And if you know anybody
that's lost a loved one, whether it's on nine to eleven,
and you and I have friends that lost loved ones
on nine to eleven, but we also and Heidi.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
And I lost to very good friends. We were very
good friends with Barbara Olson. She was married to Ted Olson,
who was the Solicitor General of the United States under
George W. Bush. We had been with Barbara not many
weeks before nine to eleven, and she was on the
plane that crashed into the Pentagon. She lost her life

(33:29):
on that day.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
I had dinner tonight with I mean, as you know,
I'm in Pinehurst, which is right next to Fort Bragger.
They renamed it being PC Fort Freedom or whatever they
call it now. With a couple of different guys that
signed up after nine to eleven, they're still in and
we were having dinner and this subject came up, and

(33:53):
it was sad to see their demeanor change because they
are enraged because their friends died. They lost their friends
fighting these terrorists. Their friends were killed by people that
were being trained and recruited by Khalie Cheik Muhammad. One

(34:14):
of the things that was brought up tonight at dinner
that made them so mad was they said, what people
forget is khale Cchik Muhammad was not just the master
nine to eleven. He was the master of the propaganda
to recruit radicals into al Qaeda, and those radicals were
the ones on the battlefield that were killing American soldiers.

(34:35):
So it's not just the people that died on nine
to eleven. There were countless others that signed up to
fight the terras after nine to eleven that were fighting
against people that had been recruited through propaganda and training
by Kalie Ceik Muhammad, who were then killed. By the way,
he was never charged directly for their murders, right, And

(34:58):
he said, so to be clear, now, you sent men
and women in uniform, American men and women uniform to
go kill these people, you die, and the guy who
mastermind the whole damn thing that started it all is
now going to live the rest of his life until
he naturally expires. And you think Americans are going to
want to sign up to fight for America, this is

(35:19):
what they know happens after the worst heirs attack on
American soil in American history.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
Well, and listen, the media wants America to forget about
nine to eleven, forget about the crazed theocratic lunatics who
sought to murder us, who want to destroy us. And
I will say, for those of us who are old
enough to have been alive, every one of us remembers
exactly where you were that morning. Where were you in

(35:48):
the morning of nine to eleven.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
I was in my college dorm room at Ole miss
and my phone, my cell phone rang and it was
a producer at Fox News because I was doing TV then,
and he just said, I'd turn on your TV and
hung up.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
It was the horror all across this country. Everyone life
just stopped for me. I was in DC. It was
the beginning of the Bush administration. I was working in
the Bush administration. I was the head of policy at
the Federal Trade Commission at the time. And that morning
I was walking out of our apartment, literally at the

(36:23):
front door, and my phone rang and it was Heidi,
and she had left earlier that morning. Heidi was working
at the White House. And Heidi called me and said,
turn on the television right now. So I stopped. I
went back to my apartment, turned it on and watched,
and we saw the twin towers the World Trade Centers,
and we saw smoke coming out of the top of

(36:44):
one of the two towers. And early on we didn't
know what it was. We didn't know if it was
initially just that The early speculation was it was some
horrible accident. Some pilot of a small plane had screwed
up up and crashed into a building. It was not
immediately apparent what had happened. And as everyone's watching one

(37:07):
of the towers with smoke coming out of it, the
whole world watched in horror as we saw a commercial jet,
a second commercial jet steer around and crash into the
second tower, and the instant that happened, everyone knew exactly
what this was. This was not a tragic accident. This

(37:28):
was a deliberate act of murder, a horrible act of terrorism,
and there was a level of confusion. There was a
level of just horror and disbelief. So Heidi at the time,
as I said, was working at the White House. Initially,
when the first plane hit, the Secret Service told the
folks of the White House just stay where you are,

(37:50):
keep working, and everyone's watching it, but everyone's staying there.
When the second plane hit, they ran through the hallways
and they literally told people get out now, run, do
not walk. Run, And so Heidie sprinted out. Her car
was parked in an underground parking garage, so she couldn't

(38:11):
get her car. They wouldn't let her get her car,
and so Heidie proceeded to take off her high heels
and walk home barefoot. We had an apartment in Arlington, Virginia,
actually just south of the Pentagon and shortly thereafter, so

(38:33):
there was a lot of confusion about what was happening.
I'm watching TV. I'm trying to get in touch with Heidi,
but cell phones were not working very well. There was
a period where it was being reported, i think on
ABC that a plane had hit the White House, which
obviously I'm having trouble getting Heidie, and so I'm very
freaked out that she's in harm's way. She ended up

(38:53):
walking across Memorial Bridge and walking home to our apartment,
just just carrying her high heels. And the plane that
had been reported that had hit the White House is
actually the one that struck the Pentagon. And as I mentioned,
Barbara Olson, our friend, was on it. And Barbara actually
picked up her cell phone on the plane and was

(39:15):
able to contact her husband Ted. She got Ted on
the phone and Ted was at the time, he was
the number three official at the Bush Department of Justice,
and he knew exactly what was happening. He knew his
wife was on that phone. And Barbara was a firebrand.
She was passionate, she was a fighter, she was conservative,
she was awesome. And Barbara said said to Ted, what

(39:38):
do I do? How do we stop them? And that
was the last conversation they had because moments later the
plane crashed in the Pentagon.
