a forensic review of the laptop and we found that
there were more than half a dozen emails that were
likely used by Joe Biden. I thought that was a story,
but the answer that came back was, well, we need
to know what the content is of the emails, but

there was no way. So there were just there were
a lot of reasons. I was told not to do it,
not to pursue it, not.

told her multiple times that he wanted her to investigate
the hunter By laptop scandal, a directive that came directly
from red Stone, the controlling shareholder of CBS's parent Paramount Global,

George Cheeks said to me on multiple occasions that this
was a story of the highest priority for the network
and that it was a high priority for his boss,
Shari Redstone. So I took on the assignment and I

journalist said there was pushback inside the left wing network
over her probe to the laptop of the present son
and whether it's contents revealed corruption.

She just said the story authenticating and doing a deep
dive into the laptop was in fact ready before the midterms,
and they held the damn story and shelved it till
after the midterms because they didn't want it to come up.

issue in the midterms, and so they said, bury it,
just straight up bury it. We'll deal with it next year.

to trigger a vote on releasing the health ethics report
on Matt Gates, even though Matt Gates is no longer
in the House. Sean Casteen a Democrat from Illinois, says,

you will soon attempt to trigger a vote before all
House members on whether or not to release the Ethics
Committee report into President Act Donald Trump's Attorney general nominee,
former represented Matt Gates. This after the Health Ethics Committee
disagreed on whether or not to release the report on Wednesday,
Casten said he would use a privileged resolution to mandate

a four vote on its release. The vote would be
mandatory within two days of Caston introducing the bill, saying this,
given the reports that the Ethics Committee will not release
the Gates report today, I will shortly excuse me introduce
a privileged resolution to require a vote by the full

House of Representatives on its release.

if the committee did not agree to publish that report.

that is highly unusual for reports to be released after

way we do things in the House, Johnson told reporters
last week, and I think that would be a terrible
precedent to set. Politico highlighted gates resignation when pointing out
a critical difference quote unquote between a previous instance of
a member trying to force the release of an ethics
report regarding another sitting member via a privileged resolution, which

Caston's office at tention to do frame as quote unquote precedent.
Casson's office said, there is president for this move. They
go back to cite this. In nineteen ninety six, Representative
John Lewis, a Democrat from Georgia, introduced a privileged resolution
to force the Ethics Panel to release its report on

alleged misconduct by then Speaker new Gingrich. The House voted
then to kill Lewis's move on the floor, and the
committee was not forced to release its preliminary report. But
there's a critical difference between that and Lewis President and

does move forward with a privileged resolution, Republicans will have

the deep State couldn't figure out or find out who
they say actually released this like they couldn't do it.

was a lie, because there's very few things that would

unfortunately the use of the N word, the liberal use
of the N word, and I thought this was worthy
of a story, but I was told that it was

a forensic review of the laptop and we found that
there were more than half a dozen emails that were
likely used by Joe Biden. I thought that was a story,
but the answer that came back was, well, we need
to know what the content is of the emails, but
that was going to be a year's long process, so

there was no way. So there were just there were
a lot of reasons. I was told not to do it,
not to pursue it, not.

a reporter and a reporter's job. You've got a laptop

Catherine Herriage is posting on x revealing that the CEO
told her multiple times that he wanted her to investigate
the hunter By laptop scandal, a directive that came directly
from red Stone, the controlling shareholder of CBS's parent Paramount Global,
who pressed that if that it was a quote high priority.

George Cheeks said to me on multiple occasions that this
was a story of the highest priority for the network
and that it was a high priority for his boss,
Shari Redstone. So I took on the assignment and I
did it to the best of my ability, Cheeks told her.
It told her CBS wanted to have accountability on the
issue and to speak truth to power on both sides

of the aisle, which the investigative reporter welcomed. But the
journalist said there was pushback inside the left wing network
over her probe to the laptop of the present son
and whether it's contents revealed corruption.

and there were corners of support of support who understood
the value of investigating hunter Biden's story, but there were
some elements within CBS News that were just resistant to it.

not responding to requests for comment on this shocking news.
But earlier this month, Catherine also revealed in a recently
launched newsletter that her direct bosses, Washington Bureau chief Mark
Lima and CBS News President Matthews, pushed back on her reporting,
killing potential stories in the early days of the laptop scandal.

In her bombshell allegations. Catherine said she brought evidence to
them and CBS Evening News anchor Norah O'Donnell in early
October twenty twenty that the lap top contained material about
a quote million dollar retainer from a Chinese energy firm,
along with business techs and emails from the sun of

Democratic challenger Joe Biden. But her reporting never saw the
light of day. It was never aired. It was never aired.
You have to ask yourself the question why, in fact,
it quote an additional two years for CBS to broadcast
a forensic review of hunter Biden's laptop data. By that time,

the two people have been elevated to roles of CBS
News President. That's where Matthews landed. When we did the story,
we did it after the midterms. I argued against that
because it was really before the midterms, and my training
is that you should always do the story when it's
ready to go. You should not be dedicated to or

dictated by the political cycle. After the piece aired, Catherine
was pushed to continue reporting on what she had on
earthed from the forensic review, saying, for example, in the
text messages, there's unfortunately a lot of the use of the.

I want you to hear even more of what Catherine
had to say in this shocking, breaking news coming from
her about her time at CBS.

We eventually broadcast a story about the Hunter Biden laptop
after the midterm elections in twenty twenty two. We commissioned
a forensic review. I got a copy of the laptop data.
I have it here still. I went to a lot
of effort to get the cleanest copy of the laptop data,
the same data that was provided to the FBI, because

I didn't want to have any professional journalistic risk for
CBS News. I wanted this thing to be totally locked
down when we did the story. We did it after
the midterms. I argued again on that because it was
ready before the midterms, and my training is that you
should always do the story when it's ready to go.

Let's just pause there and think about what she just said.
She just said the story authenticating and doing a deep
dive into the laptop was in fact ready before the midterms,
and they held the damn story and shelved it till
after the midterms because they didn't want it to come up.

damning apparently that they didn't want it to become an
issue in the midterms, and so they said, bury it,
just straight up bury it. We'll deal with it next year.
We won't deal with it today. We will deal with

because that's when the American people can handle this and
it won't impact the election. So if you want to
know whose side CBS News was on, you don't have
to wonder.

There is a big fight that is happening right now
over Donald Trump's nominees. Democrat representatives are going to try
to trigger a vote on releasing the health ethics report
on Matt Gates, even though Matt Gates is no longer
in the House. Sean Casteen a Democrat from Illinois, says,

you will soon attempt to trigger a vote before all
House members on whether or not to release the Ethics
Committee report into President Act Donald Trump's Attorney general nominee,
former represented Matt Gates. This after the Health Ethics Committee
disagreed on whether or not to release the report on Wednesday,
Casten said he would use a privileged resolution to mandate

a four vote on its release. The vote would be
mandatory within two days of Caston introducing the bill, saying this,
given the reports that the Ethics Committee will not release
the Gates report today, I will shortly excuse me introduce
a privileged resolution to require a vote by the full

House of Representatives on its release.

Politico first noted that Caston was committed to this path
if the committee did not agree to publish that report.

They say, the key fact is that Gates has left
the House of Representatives, and as House Speaker Mike Johnson
has pointed out, it would be set a new precedent
that is highly unusual for reports to be released after
members resign. I'm going to strongly request that the Ethics
Committee not issue the report because that is not the

way we do things in the House, Johnson told reporters
last week, and I think that would be a terrible
precedent to set. Politico highlighted gates resignation when pointing out
a critical difference quote unquote between a previous instance of
a member trying to force the release of an ethics
report regarding another sitting member via a privileged resolution, which

Caston's office at tention to do frame as quote unquote precedent.
Casson's office said, there is president for this move. They
go back to cite this. In nineteen ninety six, Representative
John Lewis, a Democrat from Georgia, introduced a privileged resolution
to force the Ethics Panel to release its report on

alleged misconduct by then Speaker new Gingrich. The House voted
then to kill Lewis's move on the floor, and the
committee was not forced to release its preliminary report. But
there's a critical difference between that and Lewis President and
Gage situation. Gingrich was a sitting member of the House

and Gates has resigned. Therefore he is not. If Casson
does move forward with a privileged resolution, Republicans will have
the opportunity to kill it before it is voted on.
So the question now is, and I think there's a
very high probability, a very high chance that this could happen,
is that this report will be leaked to the press,

maybe in its entirety. Democrats don't care about the rules,
and there is some staffer that might have access to
this report that might do exactly what happened in the
Supreme Court. Remember when the Supreme Court and it was
leaked that Roe v. Wade was going to be overturned
the opinion. That was a day of shock at the

Supreme Court. And yet the people that were investigating it,
the deep State couldn't figure out or find out who
they say actually released this like they couldn't do it.
They literally couldn't figure it out. Now, I don't think
anybody believes that. I don't think that anybody actually thinks

investigating COVID the way we should investigate COVID or should
have investigated COVID, Maybe that's a better way of framing it,

that it was the United States government. He did not imply
it was the United States government. The pandemic started in

China in Wuhan. So this idea that America planned it

they say that he's claiming it was America that planet.

was a lie, because there's very few things that would
be on the list of what they said was true.

weren't allowed in because they had COVID. I don't think
it's crazy to remind people the entire world shut down.

whether you like it or not, COVID is the center
of the universe. Everything was revolving around it, and we
were getting no good answers, only lies. We were getting
not a single answer. Okay, not a single answer about
this that was truthful at that moment. Everything was a

Everything about the vaccines, basically from what we understand now,
was a lie.
