Speaker 1 (00:01):
So what are we going to be covering today. First up,
it is a big story big tech censorship. Well, now,
Facebook wants you to believe they're all for free speech
and democracy. This is also there is a group of
people that are trying to buy TikTok in this country
before it is quote unquote shut down.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
We're going to have that for you in a moment.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Also, then one of the most disturbing and disgusting moments
of the day, former President Jimmy Carter to lie in
state at the US Capital.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
And what is the media doing.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
The media is doing exactly what you would expect, using
Jimmy Carter's funeral to attack Donald Trump. We've got the
audio and I'm going to play it for you. Now,
let me set up for you the biggest subject, and
that is Facebook coming out saying that they are going
to get back to their roots of free speech and
(00:56):
freedom of speech and democracy and letting the people speak
because it's so important in America. I want to be
very clear about this. I think that Mark Zuckerberg, who
is the founder of Facebook, is just as evil as
he was a week ago, a month ago, or a
year ago. When it comes to coming after and silencing conservatives.
(01:18):
This is not a move and I do not want
you to be bamboozled. And you are going to see politicians,
by the way, that are willing to praise him now
for this move.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
And the reason why is because they're hoping that allow.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Them more reach on social media Facebook and what they
did and Instagram when they bought it. What they did,
so that you understand how powerful it was. Not only
did it shut down people's lives and their businesses and
silence them, and this was conservatives that this happened to, but.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
It was even bigger than that.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
They gave the FBI and the Department of Justice access
to virtually anything you were doing if they asked for
access to it. So they also were not just allowing
you to be spied on without your knowledge. And this
was with all big tech. We learned about this from
(02:17):
the hopefully incoming up BIA director Caspartel found out five
years after the fact that he was being spied on
by the FBI while he was working in the Trump
administration because Google had to disclose it to him five
years later. We exposed that on this show just a
few weeks ago to remind you about the corruption. But
(02:38):
this was also about making sure that conservatives did not
win elections. This is what happens in places like Russia
and in China. By the way, in China they don't
even allow TikTok. Just to put in perspective, and what
did they do. They made sure that right before the election,
and I have the data to prove it just with
(02:59):
my I account alone before this election in twenty twenty
four that before the election, conservatives and their reach were
completely silenced. I could post something before the election there
was great information for you guys, and the chances of
you seeing it were just nonexistent. I could post a
link to a podcast on the of the show right
(03:23):
before the election, when clearly people were running political content
and on some days it may only be seen by
a couple hundred people.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
This was well over a million followers.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
They weren't just tipping the scales, they were trying to
rig elections. Let me say that again. Not only was
Facebook and Instagram trying to tip the scales, and Google
and TikTok, they were trying to sway elections. They were
trying to fix elections. They also boosted content that came
(03:58):
from the left. So if they're was propaganda or COVID propaganda.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
What did they do? They boosted it.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
And if you put something up there that Fauci didn't like,
what did Anthony Founci do.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
This is a fact.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
He would send emails to Facebook to make sure that
certain accounts were shut off or silenced, our posts were
taken down. And then the most disturbing part of all
about free speech, and that is the part I want
you to really understand, is that Facebook to implement the
silencing of people just like you. And that's why I'm
(04:33):
saying today, do not get excited, because they're going to
do it again as soon as they can. This is
only a mood because Donald Trump and the Republicans are
in charge of the House to send it in the
White House, and they're hedging their bets. This is not authentic,
it is not real, and they will do this again.
They use what they called fact checkers. Now, let's go
(04:54):
through how fact checkers worked the left and Facebook. They
they hired, as they described it, fact checkers that would
fact check things that you would put up on social media.
And if you put up something they didn't like, they
could take it down. They could limit your reach, they
could shut down your account altogether. And that is exactly
(05:16):
what they did to harass conservatives just like me. They
went back years when I got on a list after
a liberal group called Media Matters came after me. Media
Matters went after conservatives that they were threatened by, that
had significant influence. And what they did was they started
writing a hit pieces on these conservatives.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
I was one of them.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
And then what happened was within hours of me criticizing
Facebook at a conservative political action conference known Seapack, I
was flying home and when I landed after doing that speech,
which clearly someone saw at Facebook, they started going back
years into posts and attacking the posts that I'd put up.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Now, why would they do that? Why would they spend time?
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Because that's when they can shut down your reach, which
also means they can shut down.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
The power you have with your audience.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
It was all about shutting down the power, and that's
what they did. So I had created a business out
of Facebook. I'd played on their platform. I'd help them
grow it. I'd given hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of
thousands of dollars, hundreds of thousands of dollars in free advertising,
(06:41):
maybe millions to Facebook promoting this platform for years, growing
my audience there, and then one day because I spoke
out against bias at Facebook, they then went in and
they started tagging all of these fact checks to then say, oh,
you've been warned, you've given you've spread missing information and
disinformation and this is a lie and you.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Could appeal it.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
It didn't matter. You could appeal it with facts. It
didn't matter because once you were in Facebook jail, you
never got your reach back. This is what communists do.
This is, by the way, what Facebook has been doing
for years. This has been happening for years, and now
(07:25):
all of a sudden, out of nowhere, they decide they're
going to put a friend of Donald Trump on the
board of.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Directors of Facebook.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
They've decided to put the guy who runs the UFC,
who's a very tight friend and an ally of Donald Trump,
on the board. Why did they do that? To playcate, Hey,
we need direct access to the big man. We want
everybody to get along. We don't want our business to
be hurt. What can we do, all right, Well, throw
that guy.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
On the board.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Then they start hiring conservatives that are lobbyists that had
significant power in DC to then quote be lobbyists for Meta,
for the owner or wright metas a company that has
Instagram and Facebook.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
And then they said, okay, see, we're.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Gonna make some changes like x has We're gonna get
rid out of nowhere because Donald Trump won the election.
We're gonna get rid of the quote fact checkers, and
we're gonna have change how we.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Do our community guidelines.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Now, is this going to be huge for people like
me and you when you're sharing conservative commentary or post
attacking the left, or exposing things like COVID and some
of the lies they are being given in theory?
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Am I excited about it?
Speaker 4 (08:38):
No?
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Because I know they can turn this on or off
whenever politically they need to. So let's play for you
what Zuckerberg says. He comes out, Trump wins, He realizes
he's in real trouble with his company because of what
they've done. He doesn't want there to be investigas. He
(09:01):
does not, okay, want there to be major government moves
against his company. So instead of dealing with that, they've
decided to preemptively do.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
What he's done, which is good news.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
We're going back to our roots, We're going back to
free speech.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
And I'm gonna say it again.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
No, they're not. They're not going back to their roots.
They're not going back to free speech. All they've understood
is the side of this, which is right now, this
is bad for business because Trump is in charge and
everyone that we've been silencing. We need to let out
of Facebook jail and Instagram jail and let them put
stuff up there on the internet because if we don't.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Then they're gonna come for us.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Okay, now, let's get some of their allies, throw them
on our board. Let's play the song and dance the
right way, and then we will live another day to
silence and censor conservatives down the road.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
That is the the only reason why Zuckerberg is doing
this move. It is not because he believes in free speech.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
How do we know this because we've witnessed him not
just silencing free speech, but giving access to the federal
government to spy on you and to ruin your business
and people's lives. I want you to understand, in advertising,
when I was running my business on Facebook and growing
(10:26):
the platform, growing their platform, we probably spent an advertising
well over a million dollars on the platform to grow
our business, and then in one day it all disappeared
and we never got it back. There are people that
I know that lives were ruined financially because they built
(10:48):
entire businesses being being conservatives in the movement and grew
to million, two million, three million, fifteen million followers.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
And what did Facebook do?
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Facebook said, we don't care that you spend money on
our platform. We don't care because we don't like what
you're saying. And so now we're going to silence you
for ever. Listen now to what Mark Zuckerberg said, and
I'm going to break in several times to tell you
where he is lying to you.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
Hey, everyone, I want to talk about something important today,
because it's time to get back to our roots around
free expression on Facebook and Instagram.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
That is a lie. They're not getting back to their roots.
Their roots are communism, their roots are socialism.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Their roots are are.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Trying to fix elections and silence half of the country,
actually the majority of the country that voted for Donald Trump.
If you had anything that had MAGA or Trump or
anything that was anti COVID vaccines or vaccines in general,
or anything they didn't like the government fauci the White House,
(11:55):
they could flag it, send it over and you would
be shut down. They're not getting back to their roots
of free expression, expression and free speech on Facebook and Instagram.
They're just realizing right now the deck is decked against
them for their abuse of power.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
I started building social media to give people a voice.
I gave a speech at Georgetown five years ago about
the importance of protecting free expression, and I still believe
this today. But a lot has happened over the last
several years. There's been widespread debate about potential harms from
online content. Governments and legacy media have pushed to censor
more and more.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
That is also a lie. Facebook has pushed to censor
more and more. Let me go back to the biggest
example that I can give you. The same guy who's
telling you they're getting back to the roots is the
same guy that made the decision to kick Donald J. Trump,
the President of the United States of America, off of Facebook.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Can we just sit here.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
For a moment and remind ourselves that the guy who's
telling you he's getting back to his roots is the
same guy. After January the sixth of twenty twenty one,
the company turned off the sitting president of the United
States of America's account and you want me to believe
(13:18):
that they're a free speech company getting back to their roots.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
They are still Kamis, folks.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
The only thing that changed is Trump didn't lose this election.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
He woned A lot of this is clearly political, but
there's also a lot of legitimately bad stuff out there. Drugs, terrorism,
child exploitation. These are things that we take very seriously
and I want to make sure that we handle responsibly.
So we built a lot of complex systems to moderate content.
But the problem with complex systems is they make mistakes.
(13:50):
Even if they accidentally censored just one percent of posts,
that's millions of people. And we've reached a point where
it's just too many mistakes and too much censorship.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
That so lie it's not too many mistakes and too
much censorship.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
You guys were doing everything that you're now saying is
evil literally twenty days ago, thirty days ago, forty days ago,
fifty days ago. And you've been doing it since you
made that speech at Georgetown, but you've only been doing
it towards conservatives. You've only been doing it towards people
(14:23):
like me and many of you that listened to this show.
They were not censoring Joe Biden. They were not censoring
ancient Anthony Fauci. These are the same scumbags that censored
in silenced anyone who tried to share the Hunter Biden
laptop story when it came out before the election in
(14:46):
two thy and sixteen. These people are communists, They've always
been communists, and this is not something to be impressed by.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
And I'm gonna say it again.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
You're gonna say a lot of conservatives come out and
they're gonna say this is a great step in the
right direction, and they're gonna they're gonna not want you
to remember anything that.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
I just told you. So let me just be clear.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Best case scenario, I am temporarily let out of jail
in big text world, and I do believe that this
is nothing more than temporarily being let out of jail.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
This is not real. It is temporary. Could it last
two years?
Speaker 1 (15:28):
And the Democrats gain control of the House to send
it and they go, all right, screw it, let's flip it. Absolutely,
are they lying to you right now? Then they tell
you that they that this is something that they believe in.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yes, they are lying to you. They do not believe
in this.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
They never have believed in this, and they never will
believe in free speech.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
They never ever will.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
And when Zuckerberg sits there says, what it's just too
much censorship, then why.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Were you doing it the day of the election.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
This year, the recent elections also feel like a cultural
tipping point towards once again prioritizing speech. So we're gonna
get back to our roots and focus on reducing mistakes,
simplifying our policies, and restoring free expression on our platforms.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
So they're admitting with these changes that we have targeted Americans.
We have targeted you, we have targeted what you've posted.
We've allowed the government to spy on you, to read
your messages, and to infiltrate the conservative community. And even
if you're not a conservative, if you're just saying something
(16:31):
that people on the left don't like, and this goes
back to COVID nineteen, you will have your account suspended
and shut down. And if you are the sitting president
of the United States of America who just lost an election,
will shut down your account as well.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
That is what they did to Donald J. Trump.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
All of this is a lie, all of this is
a ploy, all of this is political bs One of
this is real and it is all temporary, and if
people in Congress don't realize this, then they are idiots.
All right, I want to move to Jimmy Carter for
(17:12):
a second, and look, I would love, and I mean
this so sincerely, for there to be a moment to
just honor Jimmy Carter in general, and for it not
to be so political, Like I would love to come
on here and not have to remind you of how
big of a disaster Jimmy Carter was. And then some
(17:34):
of you that are pessimists are gonna be back with then, Ben,
why did you just say he was a disaster? Well,
I'm going to explain that it is because the media
is using the death of Jenny Carter to try to
score political points against Donald Trump. As he was big,
his body was being brought to Washington, d c.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
To Lane State in the rotunda.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
The media is trying to use this moment to attack Trump,
to demean Trump, to say, well, you know, Donald Trump
is just so different than Jimmy Carter was implying to
Jimmy Carter with some amazing statesman. Let me be clear,
Jimmy Carter not only wrecked the American economy and had
(18:17):
interest rates at twelve, fifteen, eighteen percent on homes for
goodness sakes while he was in office. But we also
had lines at the gas station, and we had hundreds
of Americans that were held hostage in Iran when they
went into our embassy and took them hostage. And all
of that happened under Jimmy Carter's time. Now again, I
(18:38):
would love to come on the show and just say,
you know, Jimmy Carter's lying in state and da da dah,
move on. But the media is like, all right, how
do we use the death of Jimmy Carter to then
attack Donald Trump? Yeah, these people are sick. Here is
proof of it. Take a listen to this on MSNBC.
Speaker 6 (18:54):
There is such a difference in the politics of today,
as difficult as it may have seemed at the time,
and it certainly was. Washington is never an easy place,
has never been an easy place, and Jimmy Carter learned
that the hard way. But I wonder what he would
make of the politics of today. And do you think
that there are echoes of the person he was that
(19:18):
can resonate still today with people going into political life.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
Well, obviously Donald Trump does not share Jimmy Carter's view
of the world of the responsibility that a government has
to deal with human suffering. But I think that this
past week's focus upon Jimmy Carter has helped to once
(19:45):
again focus upon the better angels of our nature and
how we can't forget those who would be left behind
unless there was a conscious effort made by our government,
by our people to focus upon that suffering, and not
just here, but all around the world. We're not just
(20:07):
four percent of the world where the moral and political
leader for the whole rest of the planet, and Jimmy
Cotter in his post presidency, tried to make sure that
the whole rest of the world heard that highest aspiration
lifted our gaze to the constellation of possibilities for ourselves,
(20:28):
for our country, and for the rest of the world.
And my hope is that this last week has helped
to inspire more people to dedicate their lives to that agenda.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
So, in other words, Donald Trump is a scumbag and
Donald Trump quote does not share Jimmy Carter's view of
the world. And one of the responsibilities that the government
has to deal with is human suffering, and Donald Trump
is going to make you suffer. Those are the words
on MSNBC Whyle they're supposed to be talking about Jimmy Carter.
(20:57):
And I also think it tells you just how bad
Jimmy Carter's legacy was, that this is how they're having
to deal with Jimmy Carter's death to use it to
say we don't have anything we can really stand on.
So let's just say, you know that Donald Trump sucks
and Jimmy Carter was an amazing man, an amazing statesman,
and he's going to be incredible, and that's what we're
(21:18):
gonna say about him. That's what we're going to remember
about him. And everything is better with a guy like
Jimmy Carter in office and a guy and a loser
like Donald.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Trump who is not in office.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Now, let me also just play for you Al Sharpton,
Al Sharpton on TV, and the casket is carrying Jimmy Carter.
It is arriving in that horse drawn wagon to the Capitol.
It's very symbolic. It's a cold day in DC. It's
a very important moment. And what does Al Sharpton tell
(21:51):
us about Jimmy Carter, Well, he tells us Jimmy Carter
is the real deal, not like Donald Trump, right, but
he was the real president.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
Jimmy Carter's post presidency can be tied to President Bill
Clinton's Clinton Foundation post presidency work can be connected.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
To George W.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Bush's Bush Foundation continuation of pepfar program he launched as president.
The president elect was a post president and for four years.
I'm not cognizant of anything in the spirit of the
Clinton Foundation, the Carter post presidency for the Bush Foundation.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
No.
Speaker 7 (22:32):
I think that he clearly saw his post presidency as
not the end of his making a contribution. You know,
there's a quote by Mark Twain the two most important
moments in life is to find when you were born
and then why you were born. And I think Jimmy
Carter figured out why he was born. He was born
(22:52):
to serve, and he never stopped serving. And he saw
I think politics as a tool to serve. The quote
from Ryan Holnebel about politics is to get justice in
a sinful world. I think he saw that where he's
very religious, and that was not something he just used
for a campaign. He taught Sunday school till he couldn't
(23:13):
teach it anymore. And the times I'd be around him.
He say, Reverend ale, I see I there was your activism.
How's your ministry? I said, what that is?
Speaker 2 (23:21):
President?
Speaker 7 (23:22):
He says, how's your prayer life? I mean, he really
believed in what he was doing, and you could feel it.
You know, sometimes you can feel people more than you
can hear them. He was the guy you could feel
was the real deal.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
I look, I'm all in favor of saying that some
guy is a great guy, but to use someone's death
to then score political points against Donald Trump, that is
just disgusting. Like talk about what he did, but when
you start doing it in a way that is all about, well,
(23:59):
Donaldnald Trump sucks and Jimmy Carter was amazing, and they're
just different and one was a statesman the other one wasn't.
And to try to use his death to score political
points is just one of those.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Moments where I just roll my eyes.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
And even as I'm doing this show right now, like
I'm seeing more and more clips that are going viral
on him, and they're all about trying to say Donald
Trump is no Jimmy Carter.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Let me just say I'm fine with that.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
I do not want another Jimmy Carter Jimmy Carter and
Joe Biden are going to go down in history is
two the two worst presidents in the modern political error.
I'm talking about that now for the reason and for
one reason only, because they're the ones that try to
(24:53):
politicize this moment. They could have just given him a
nice sendoff. They could have just given him a nice
they They didn't have to turn this into a Trump
bashing moment, which is exactly what they decided to do.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Even Kama Harris and.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Her tribute to President Carter, that what was one where
it was shot after shot that he's amazing and that
he's presidential, and that he was an elder statesman, and
it was all clearly a wink and a nod to
and Donald Trump's coming back into office.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
And this guy sucks. I love that he's a disruptor,
and I'm referring to Trump.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
I hate that the left and the media decided to
use the passing of Jimmy Carter where they could have
just done a great job talking about a guy that
had a legacy the same way I talked about in
the show. His presidency really wasn't great, but what he
did after he left the presidency actually think is pretty
incredible and and reimagining himself the way that he did
(25:58):
and his commitment to building homes and to a lot
of the other nonprofits that he worked on and did
great things for.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Like, you could have had that moment.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
And instead you said, now we're going to go for
hackery here, We're going to use his death member never
let a crisis go to waste, Like that's the Democrat's plan, right,
Never let a crisis go to waste. Never, never let
an opportunity for someone else's bad moment to go to
waste where you can't use it to attack your political opponent.
(26:31):
That's part of their thinking, that's part of their mindset,
that is part of what they believe.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
That is sad.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
But I also think they used this moment for another reason,
and that was to protect Joe Biden. I think the
timing of his death to be able to attack Trump
and to not have to look at the fact that
the new pulling is out that says that Joe Biden
will go down in history is one of the top
two worst presents in history. This is also a moment
(27:01):
for them to give political cover to Joe Biden. And
I don't think the American people, by the way, are
going to forget who Joe Biden is, that he sold
out the American people to the highest bidder, to the
most corrupt people in the world. I don't believe that
they're going to forget it. I believe the American people
will always remember who Joe Biden, the Biden crime family was,
(27:22):
and that is exactly why the Gallup poll came out
that said Americans to remember Joe Biden as the second
worst president in history.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
That's the takeaway.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
