Speaker 1 (00:01):
We have got a lot to talk about on today's show,
including Donald Trump really paying off on the promises he
made to secure the southern border, with a litany of
actions being taken to make sure that the southern border
is secure and shut down. I'm gonna explain that to
you coming up in a moment. We also have what
I'm describing as Black Tuesday, the day where Donald Trump
(00:23):
said to a lot of government bureaucrats, you're fired, including
the heads of the TSA, the Coastguard as well. What's
behind it? That story for you as well coming up.
And finally, Donald Trump has decided to save you a
lot of money, signing an executive order suspending US foreign
eight assistants for ninety days. Now, with all that, let's
(00:45):
get back to what I mentioned at the very beginning.
Donald Trump is paying off on his promise to secure
the southern border. On January the twenty first, President Donald
Trump signed several executive orders aimed at strengthening border security. Now,
these were all because of promises that he made on
the campaign trail. Well, he is now keeping those promises
(01:06):
and turning them into a reality for each and every American.
So what has happened so far. I want you to
know the list so you understand because many in the
media are not wanting to talk about this at all.
The National Emergency Declaration has been signed by Donald Trump.
What does that mean. It declares a national emergency at
the US Mexico border that enables the deployment of federal
(01:30):
troops to assist in border enforcement. This is a very
important tool that the President is using right now to
shut down the southern border. He also made good on
another promise, the Remain in Mexico policy, reinstating the policy
that would require asylum seekers legal immigrants to wait in
(01:51):
Mexico during US immigration proceedings. That is a one to
eighty from what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did, which
would allow for each and every illegal immigrant that comes
across the southern border, even if they're turning themselves in
to those at the border they're supposed to be protecting it,
saying oh yeah, go free in America. Well, that policy
(02:12):
is no more. The Remain of Mexico policy is now
back into effect and being enforced at this hour. Now.
You may remember that Donald Trump became president back in
twenty sixteen. Many believe because of one major issue, one
major thing that kind of catapulted his campaign. It was
when he said We're gonna build a wall, a big,
(02:33):
beautiful wall, and he said at the time that Mexico
was gonna pay for it. Now, you can argue and
debate over that, but what we know now is that
the border wall construction will be resuming and will be finished.
That's right. Through an executive order, Donald Trump demanded the
resumption and the completion of the border wall along the
(02:55):
southern border as soon as humanly possible. Now, there's also
a big fight that is about to happen, and it
deals with birthright citizenship. And I want you to understand
the argument here. Yes, there is the fourteenth Amendment. Yes,
the fourteenth Amendment states very clearly that if you are
born in the United States of America, you are an
(03:17):
American citizen. The President wants to have a debate on
that issue. So that is why he has decided, and
he knows a legal challenge is coming that we are
going to have, as he described with the termination of
birthright citizenship, specifically if you are born in the US
to illegal immigrant parents. Now, this move is going to
(03:42):
face legal challenges. They know this at the White House.
I don't actually believe they expect they're going to win this.
But what they're trying to do is open a national
conversation about this loophole where many illegal immigrants, days before
they're about to give birth rush the southern border, have
a child in the US and they are an American citizen.
(04:04):
But what it also does it allows then for the
illegal immigrant parents to have a sponsor, a family member
who is an American citizenship to get them into the
US and to get them citizenship. This is a loophole
that Donald Trump wants to have some sort of fix on,
and now he's going to get that Grand debate. There's
(04:25):
also something else the Democrats use, and it was an app.
It was the most powerful app, many believe, in the
world because it gave access to the United States of
America for millions and millions of illegal immigrants. You may
have heard of this app before. It was the CBP
one app. Donald Trump has now moved to disable the
(04:48):
CBP one app, which allows migrants to schedule quote legal
entry appointments, resulting in cancelations now for hundreds of thousands
of applicants. Donald Trump saying we're not playing that game
any longer. And then, in the biggest move so far
in my opinion, is this, Donald Trump moved to designate
(05:13):
the Cartels as terrorists organizations. Not only has he classified
the Cartells as terrorist organizations, but he's also lumped into
this gang such as MS thirteen, as foreign terrorist organizations
as well. Now, what does this do well, it allows
for much more aggressive actions against these groups, including using
(05:36):
the US military. The question everybody has been asking now
is would we actually see the US military go into
what many are describing as a failed state, into Mexico
where the Cartels and MS thirteen gang members run the government,
and going after them and taking them out. It's too
soon to tell exactly what the President's going to do
(05:58):
and declare that they are terrorist organizations what that would
mean for moving against the Cartels outside of the United
States of America. What is obvious is the President right
now is looking for every tool at his disposal to
do whatever he can to protect and defend our borders
and American citizens. Now. The ICE director is also out
(06:22):
on TV talking a lot about what their plans are,
including deportation operations that have already begun in the US.
Tom Homan was on Fox News Channel and here's what
he said.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
President Trump signing a stack of executive orders yesterday, making
good in a major campaign promise tackling illegal immigration. Let's
bringing the new borders are to the president. Tom Humman
also the former acting ICE director. So, Tom, we were expecting,
based on your initial schedule, that today roundups of criminal
illegal aliens in the process of deporting them would begin.
(06:55):
It seems to have been put on hold for a
little while. When can we expect that to happen? Where
will it begin?
Speaker 3 (07:00):
No?
Speaker 4 (07:00):
I started, I started. Teams are out there as of today.
We gave them in direction to prioritize public safety threats
that we're looking for that we've been working on the
target list. There was some discussion about Chicago because the
Pacific Operational Plan was released, so we had to look
at and reevaluate does this raise after safety concerns? And
(07:22):
it does. But we've address that and teams are all
the effective today.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
So critics were saying, Okay, you're going to route up
people's at Buila, their grandmother and ship them back to
where they emigrated from. Who are the people that you're targeting.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
At least in this initial phase right, are the gays
public safety threats those who are in a country legal
that's been convict to arrested for a serious crime. But
let me be clear, it's not any public safety threats
that will be arrested because of sanctuary cities. We're not
allowed to get that public safety threat into jail, which
means we got to go to the neighborhood and find him,
and when we find him, he may be with others.
(07:57):
And unlike the last administration, we're not going to tall
officers not to arrest in the illegalanding. So if they
find others, they'll be arrested. So Sanctuary city is going
to get exactly what they don't want, more agents in
the neighborhood and more claud arrests.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
President Trump's oe number of executive orders, as we pointed
out on illegal immigration. Here's what he signed. He signed.
He declared a national border emergency, ended birthright citizenship, ended
catch and release, reinstated remain in Mexico, designated cartels as
foreign terrorist organizations, deployed active troops to the southern border,
and end the use of the CBP one app, which
(08:30):
many people were using to schedule interviews to claim asylum.
Here in the United States. So I want to take
a couple of those. But let's first of all go
with this idea of ending birthright citizenship. It's enshrined in
the fourteenth Amendment. How with an executive order can the
president change that?
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Well, first of all, President Trum's a game changer. One
of the executive orders we worked on, and these are
game change. This is going to give us some more
secure border in my lifetime. So great for him to
do that. Birthright citizenship is a major driver of bill. Look, AGray,
I know from you. I've done this over three decades.
When the first thing is they and doesn't they get
here is get birth to you as citizen childcause I think
that makes hi immune from our laws. Right, So even
(09:10):
if he goes to immigration court, loses his case, even
though he's in the country league he's convicted of a
crime and get to order removal. They think that the
fact have you assistant child make immune. We can't send
that message to the whole world that you can enter
our country legalis's crime. You commit another crime, and you
can even get removed by an immigration judge after expensive
due process. But if you have your citizen child, you're
(09:31):
off the hook. We can't send that matches. We'll never
fix the more.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
But the fourteenth Amendment does not differentiate between somebody who's
in this country legally or illegal.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
I'm not attorney, but I don't think the fourteen memine
tryings ads at all. We have just as many legal scholars,
constitutional scholars say, doesn't really say that. So what President
Trump is taking that action will let Supreme Court decide.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
I love how Tom Homan is making it clear we
want this debate. This was a very clear political decision
by Donald Trump for this debate to happen. There are
many legal scholars that say he's going to lose, but
it's obvious that the White House wants us to be
a grand debate, and that is exactly what they are
going to get all the way at the Supreme Court.
(10:12):
Donald Trump also has made it clear that he is
going to get the right people into his government to
help him on issues like securing the border. He's also
going to get rid of many of the woke people
that were appointed by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Well.
The mantra for Tuesday was you're fired the head of
the TSA and the Coastguard were fired on Trump's first
(10:36):
full day in office. Trump moved quickly to remake, as
he described it, the Department of Homeland Security, firing the
heads of the Transportation Security Administration and the Coastguard before
their terms were up, and eliminated all the members of
a key aviation security advisory group as well, calling the
system out bloated and not working with Donald Trump and
(11:00):
his vision for his administration. Now, the media, of course
they lost their mind. You should not be concerned because
this is exactly what should happen when you are elected.
You get to pick who you want to come in
and to actually lead under your leadership. And the last
thing you want and Donald Trump learned this the last time,
(11:22):
was having people that act like they're loyal to the
president and loyal to your mission, who really are just
flat out lying to you the entire time and undermining
and not doing what your job is. And if Donald
Trump's job is to get the right people pro conservatives
in these office places, well he's moving extremely fast to
(11:42):
make sure he learns from his mistakes. Back in twenty sixteen,
Donald Trump also ordered all federal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
employees placed on paid leave starting Wednesday by five o'clock.
That's right. The Trump administration directing the government agencies to
(12:03):
draw plans for firing workers in all DEI roles and
to close every single DEI office within the government agencies.
The memo issued Tuesday to heads of departments of the
US government and agencies. The US government set that deadline
of no later than five pm Wednesday to inform the
(12:25):
employees that they will be put on paid administrative leave
as the agencies prepare to close all DEI related offices
and programs and to remove all websites and social media
accounts for such offices. It also asks federal agencies to
submit a written plan by January the thirty first for
(12:45):
dismissing these employees now. President Trump signed that executive order Monday,
inning radical and wasteful quote unquote diversity, equity and inclusion
programs in the federal agencies, with DEI offices and programs
being ordered to shut down. New White House press singer
Terry Caroline Levitt said in a statement Tuesday night, this
(13:07):
is another win for Americans of all races, religions, and creeds.
This is another example of Donald Trump making a promise
and keeping it. President Trump campaigned on ending the DEI
of our federal government in returning America to a merit
based society where people are hired based on their skills,
she said, not for the color of their skin. Now,
(13:30):
it is not clear how many employees will be affected.
The White House did not immediately respond to request for
comment on that. But what the President made clear is
that this was an executive order that he knew the
American people wanted. Now, the left has become obsessed with DEI.
In fact, DEI has infiltrated virtually every aspect of our government,
(13:52):
including the Pentagon pete Headseth was asked about the DEI
policies and what it's doing to the readiness of our
military and is it helping or dividing troops. Here's what
he had to say to his confirmation hearing.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
I've written publicly that DII policy or distraction and have
military personnel walking on edgshells. Do you believe that emails
like that that are essentially threatening both serving officer and
a spouse and claiming that they'll lose their pension will
have a distraction and detract from the lethality.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Senator, you mentioned the forties and fifties, and your precisely right.
The military was a forerunner in courageous racial integration in
ways no other institutions were willing to do. I served
with men and women of all backgrounds because of the
courage of people do lay. It's most incredibly importantly, however,
the DEI policies of today are not the same as
(14:52):
what happened back then. They're dividing troops inside formations, causing
commanders to walk on eggshells, not put meritocracy first. That's
the indictment that's made by those serving right now. And
why we're having this conversation.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
I love the left here. They're obsessed with trying to say, well,
you just can't do this. And guess what, Donald Trump
is putting people into positions of power where they're saying,
I'm going back to a merit based system. This is
one of those subjects that you should be talking about
with your kids and your grandkids. This is one of
those moments where I truly believe that we must talk
(15:30):
to our kids about we shouldn't be hiring someone based
on the color of their skin or their sexual orientation.
And what the left has done is put our national
security at risk, our border security at risk, our government
agencies at risk because instead of picking the best and
the brightest for job regardless of their skin color, they
(15:54):
have our sexual orientation. What the Biden Airs administration said was,
you can't hire people based on if they're amazing at
a job. You must hire a group of people that
is in all forms of Kumbaiism, where you must have
a certain piece of the pie that is transgendered, a
certain piece that's gay, a certain piece is lesbian, a
(16:16):
certain piece that is Hispanic or African American, or gay
in African American, or transgendered in African American, or Asian
and transgendered or Asian and lesbian, Asian and gay that
they're obsession with having a pie that is forced to
be all of these things. Notice what they left out
(16:39):
merit based. A merit based system is incredibly important. A
merit based system is what we should be looking at,
especially at the FBI, at the DOJ, in hiring people
in our military. The last thing I want to know
(17:00):
is that someone was hired because of the color of
their skinned or their sexual orientation, or their gender that
they quote identify as. I want to know that when
we go to war. We have the best people, by
the way. I don't give a crap if that means
you're gay or straight, or black or white, or Asian
or Indian or Hispanic. I don't care. I want to
(17:22):
know we have the best people for the job. And
what the President is saying is that is exactly what
we're gonna do. We're not gonna have these kumbay A pies.
We're not gonna have people in the military leading the
military who are men dressed like women. That is something
that Joe Biden Kamala Harris actually did. We're not gonna
(17:43):
have people over health and human services that are dudes
dressed like chicks. We're not gonna have people that are
in charge of nuclear waste that are dudes dressed like
chicks who are stealing women's clothes at airports. That is
also something else that Joe Biden than Kamala Harris made
a priority and employed, because what they decided is that
(18:06):
the government hiring was all about DEI not about the
best people for the job. These same people, by the way,
that we're making these decisions are the same ones that
Joe Biden had to put on a list to pardon
because they're afraid that they were so about their jobs
and instead of actually doing their job for the American people,
(18:27):
they were breaking laws. You look at people like Fauci,
You look at people like Chuck Schumer and his staff
and how they weaponized the government to go after their
political enemies. You look at all of the people like
Mark Milly that were given a pardon for goodness sakes
because they were more obsessed with things like DEI than
(18:47):
they were serving the American people. This is what got
us into this mess. Now. I got to tell you,
the fact that Donald Trump is moving as fast as
he is on this is incredible and it's going to
have a massive impact on this country, I think for
years to come. I want to turn to something that
(19:08):
Donald Trump announced that is also another campaign promise kept.
Donald Trump said it is time for other countries to
pay their fair share, especially when it comes to foreign aid.
The countries for far too long have been taking advantage
of the United States of America organizations like the World
Health Organization, or the United Nations or NATO. The list
(19:29):
goes on and on. So what did President Trump do?
He signed an executive order suspending all US foreign assistance
programs for the next ninety days, pending what he describes
as a comprehensive review to ensure their alignment with his
administration's policy objectives. Now, the suspension affects a wide range
(19:51):
of global initiatives, including the humanitarian aid packages that we send,
economic development packages, and health programs. I believe the US
contributes approximately seventy point three billion annually in four and
aid supporting various international efforts. Donald Trump is saying, that's
(20:12):
too much money. And you and I the taxpayer, are
having to pay that seventy plus billion, and we don't
have it, which means we're borrowing it, and then we're
paying interest on it as well. Now, in conjunction with
the suspension, President Trump also announced the United States is
withdrawn from the WHO, known as the World Health Organization.
(20:34):
It is a process that will take effect in twelve months.
So everyone that's freaking out over this calmed down. This
could be used as major leverage over the next twelve
months to get a better deal. Why do we need
a better deal? Well, as President Trump put it, the
US is overwhelmingly the largest financial contributor to the World
(20:56):
Health Organization, accounting for about twenty percent of its overall funding.
This decision has raised many concerns in the White House
that we are just writing checks that no one else
in the world is willing to write. So what are
the faucies of the world saying right now, Well, they're
saying that this decision was raising quote major concerns among
(21:19):
global health experts, who are now warning that it could
undermine the international health initiatives, particularly in low income countries.
The President's response is clear, why are we paying twenty
percent of the who's contributions? Now, the Secretary of State,
Marco Rubio has been tasked with evaluating each foreign aid program.
(21:43):
So this will not be done at the Oval office level.
He's saying, Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, he needs to
dive into this. He needs to evaluate each four and
aid program and then Marco Rubio will determine its contributions
to America's safety, America's strength, and America's prosperity. That is
(22:04):
the criteria laid out by Donald Trump. Now, while the
suspension is comprehensive, funding appropriated by Congress and obligations to
long term aid recipients like Israel, Egypt and Jordan will
remain quote unquote unaffected. That is what the AP is
(22:25):
reporting at this hour. Now, these actions reflect quote a
significant shift in US foreign policy, emphasizing an America first approach,
which clearly the American people wanted. Now, Donald Trump's approach
and reevaluation of the nation's role in international assistance in
global health leadership could save the American taxpayer literally hundreds
(22:49):
of billions of dollars. That is exactly why he said,
this is an American first policy. We are not going
to be the piggy bank for the rest of the world.
He's also call other nations that aren't giving like we are, saying,
if you think these policies are so good and these
initiatives are so good, then you need to pay your
fair share. But America is not going to be an
(23:11):
idiot or a dummy any longer. And that's the best
part about all of this. Now, it's not just foreign
aid that has become a hot button issue. Speaker Mike
Johnson and the White House seem to be in lockstep
on another issue, and that is when it comes to
rebuilding California after the horrific wildfires. There's a lot of debate. Now,
(23:35):
how much should you, the American taxpayer be on the
hook to rebuild after human government mismanagement. Now, the people
in California gets decide to who they want to send
to Washingt, d C. Or who they want to be
their governor or their mayor, and they have the right
to be incompetent. But when they get it wrong, and
that incompetence costs people's lives and results in massive destruction
(24:00):
we're witnessing right now that was clearly avoidable. Should you
and I bail them out as well?
Speaker 3 (24:08):
Well?
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Speaker Johnson was asked about that on John Hannity's TV
show that they did live from the Capitol, and here
is what he said.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
Let's go to a specific example, our old friend gavenussem Okay,
a lot of Gavin fans here, I can tell her.
I actually feel sorry for the people in California that
we're making. You know, what do they lose thirteen thousand structures?
I mean, it's terrible, and they never practiced the science
of forestry. How do you have a fire hydrant that
(24:38):
has no water? How do you have a reservoir that
is empty? That is government to me at its worst. Right,
they didn't have control burns that didn't clear the kindling
the brush that was that you should be clearing out.
And but you go to California, they're a sanctuary state.
LA and San Francisco are sanctuary cities. Okay, Gavin is
(24:58):
doubling down on a fight Trump agenda. You know, Trump
proved California, right, and so are you saying that you
that California if they continue to aid and a bet
law breaking and harbor illegal immigrants, money from DC gets
cut off.
Speaker 7 (25:16):
Yeah, we're talking about conditions to this disaster. Look, they're
natural disasters, but there are man made disasters as well.
And they made terrible decisions. You know, they knew exactly
what they were doing. That reservoir outside of Pacific Palisades
one hundred and seventeen million gallons, it was empty for
a year. Why they were trying to save a smelt
fish or something. I mean, their policies are upside down.
(25:36):
They made decisions that made that disaster exponentially worse. And
this is what the American taxpayer is demanding of us
everywhere else in the country.
Speaker 6 (25:44):
But take a step further. Yeah, represent any representatives from
California here, anybody? Well, Okay, Hi, he's bashful. That's Caavin's
cousin in the back.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
No, I'm kidding. I'm teasing.
Speaker 6 (26:00):
Congressmen and women from California. Republicans will come and say,
if you do this to my state, I'll never win reelection.
Speaker 7 (26:07):
No, the Californias that are here are fiscal conservatives. They're
fiscally responsible. They know that we owe the taxpayer some
accountability for those funds, and so what we're talking about
is making sure that they follow common sense in California,
and if there's culpability for what happened, there really needs
to be conditions that follow that aid. It's not unprecedented,
by the way, after Katrina and my Styff there are
conditions placed upon the funds that happened after Hurricane Sandy
(26:30):
up in the Northeast. So there's a tradition of doing this,
and in California it certainly makes sense. So we're going
to come to consensus on with them.
Speaker 6 (26:36):
Would conditions be tied to defundismantle Nobelos.
Speaker 7 (26:41):
Look, I think all those issues have to be addressed.
When you're talking about disaster raid, you don't want to
leave the people you know who are really hurting without
something because of the terrible political choices of their leaders.
But we got to thread that needle the right way.
But I think that what we're talking about here is
restoring common sense, even in the state of California. Right
the mandate, we have, the responsibility you have, We're going
to do that very thing.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
I love the way that was described there. You can
be compassionate without us being suckers. Now the left, of course,
is going crazy. The minority leader in the House a
guy by the name of Representative Jeffries. He was asked
on Meet the Press on Sunday about disaster AID and
he went back to quote the history in America. Take
(27:22):
a listen, let me.
Speaker 8 (27:24):
Get your take on disaster aid. Leader Jeffries, you just
heard Speaker Johnson very clearly say that yes, there may
be strings attached, that yes, it's possible that they will
move to try to link it to an increase in
the debt limit. Would you vote yes if that were
to come before you, if that were the only way
you believe to get disaster relief to Californians.
Speaker 9 (27:47):
The California delegation in the House has been very clear
that they do not support conditioning disaster assistance to the
American people whose lives have been overturned as a result
of the historic wildfires in California. In the history of
this country, we have never conditioned disaster assistance to Americans
(28:12):
who are hurting. Why would we do it?
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Right now?
Speaker 9 (28:16):
Here's the answer in terms of why House Republicans are
proposing to do just that. House Republicans want to pass
massive tax breaks for billionaires and wealthy corporations to benefit
the wealthy, the well off, and the well connected, and
to stick the bill with working class Americans and those
(28:39):
in the middle class who they claim to want to support.
That is not an effort. That is not a scheme
that Democrats will support.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
I love how it calls this scheme. In other words,
Democrats believe, no matter how incompetent Democrats are or the
people that vote for them, and how expensive their incompetency become,
when it's a disaster, that you, the American taxpayer, should
shut up, borrow the money and write the damn check.
Whether it's a billion dollars, fifty billion, one hundred and
(29:10):
fifty or three hundred billion. They don't care. They want
you to write the check. And what Donald Trump is
saying and what Speaker Johnson is saying is no, that
is not what the people send us to Washington to do.
