with Ben Ferguson.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Good Tuesday morning, Ben Ferguson with you. It's nice to
have you on the forty seven Morning Update. Is we
have a special show for you this morning, celebrating the
first fifty days with fifty wins under President Donald Trump's leadership.
So many of you that listen to the show want
to know the facts about what the President's actually accomplishing.
This is one of those special shows that I hope
you will share everywhere on social media wherever you're listening
(00:45):
to this. Hit that little forward button, put it on X,
put on Facebook, Instagram, and make sure other people know
exactly what the president has done in its first fifty
days in office. So with that being said, let's start
with the big subject, and that is the border. President
Trump secured the border in an unprecedented fashion. We now
know that border crossings are now down well over ninety
(01:08):
five percent since President Trump took office. We also know
that the President signed a very important piece of legislation,
coming in at number two, signing the Lake and Riley
Act into law, protecting Americans and making sure that what
happened to Lake and Riley at the hands of an
illegal immigrant hopefully will never happen again in the United
(01:29):
States of America. Number three on the list. President Trump
also is deporting at legal immigrant killers, rapists, and drug
dealers in mass a campaign promise that he said was
going to happen, and it actually is. Number four on
the list. President Trump is taking on the fetnal crisis,
another promise that he made in something he talked about
(01:50):
in that joint session of Congress last week. Number five.
President Trump ended the Biden administration's abuse of the illegal
immigrant parole scheme, making sure that that loophole was closed instantly.
And number six, when it comes to the border, President
Trump resumed construction of the border wall, adding now to
the more than four hundred miles of border wall built
(02:12):
during his first term in office. So with that, let's
move to the economy and major wins for the president there.
President Trump's tariffs come in at number seven. They are
leveling the playing field for American workers. Yes, Democrats are
attacking the President saying well, others are fighting back, But
the President has made it very clear he understands and
(02:34):
knows that America has more leverage over China, Canada, and
Mexico than they have over US, and that is why
he is staying the course to make sure that American
workers are put first. Coming in at number eight, President
Trump has also secured billions of dollars in new US
based investments from major companies from all over the world,
(02:56):
including many Fortune five hundred companies in the United States
of America. Not only has he secured billions of dollars
in investments, but is also going to account for thousands
and thousands of high paying jobs for American citizens. And
at number nine, President Trump is bringing manufacturing back to
America as well, offering major incentives and working deals with
(03:19):
companies to bring back manufacturing jobs from everything from pipe
fitting all the way to building automobiles back into America
with incentives, this will also employ a significant number of
American citizens. At number ten, President Trump is also making
life more affordable for everyday Americans by making sure that
basic goods and services are competitive with other markets. At
(03:42):
number eleven, President Trump is also into the war on cryptocurrency,
which will also allow for many in America to flourish
using cryptocurrency to their advantage, with businesses and small businesses
coming in at number twelve, President Trump instructed the Secretary
of Treasury to stop production of the penny, which we
now have found out actually costs three point six y
(04:04):
nine cents to make every penny that is only worth
one cent. Yes, that is the definition of government abuse, waste,
and fraud. And that is exactly why the President said,
no more are we going to pay almost four cents
to make something that's only worth one cent. Only a
government would be stupid enough to do that, and the
President has stopped it. At number thirteen, President Trump has
(04:26):
also suspended the enforcement of invasive, burdensome reporting requirements that
have saddled so many small businesses with unnecessary red tape
and also that is costing them time, money, resources, and
having to employ usually extra people just to deal with
the paperwork. The President sad it's time to actually support
(04:47):
small businesses so they can be successful instead of failing
at record numbers under the Biden administration. So let's move
on to President Trump's America First policies. Number fourteen on
the list of the top fifty accomplishments in the first
fi days, President Trump secured the arrest of an international
terrorist that yet again making it clear to taris around
(05:07):
the world that we're not putting up with you and
we're coming after you as well. At number fifteen, President
Trump ended the weaponization of government against its citizens, making
it very clear that the bureaucrats and the deep state
are not going to use our federal government any longer
to attack law abiding citizens and weaponizing them to get
exactly what they want, instead putting the people first. And
(05:30):
number sixteen, President Trump also decided to reverse the lawfare
against American citizens, where so many people were afraid that
the federal government was going to come after them if
it didn't play by the liberal rule makers who were
in charge. At number seventeen, President Trump designated English as
the official language of the United States of America, something
that many beliefs shouldn't be controversial at all, but absolutely
(05:53):
has become controversial with the radical left and universities. Number eighteen,
President Trump is ding China's choke over the Panama Canal
as he seeks its rifle return to US ownership. At
number nineteen, President Trump rolled back the Biden era push
for mandate paper straws. I can't actually believe we're talking
(06:14):
about paper straws, but the fact that they had gotten
so widespread with mandates of the government, Donald Trump said,
no more. So let's turn to doge and exactly what
has happened under Elon Musk and Donald Trump's leadership. At
number twenty, President Trump is inning waste, fraud, and abuse
in government. He has made it clear that your tax
dollars should not be going to radical or extreme or
(06:35):
stupid programs, and saying it's time for us to cut
massive government spending. At twenty one, President Trump is also
reforming the federal bureaucracy to make sure that it's working
for the American people instead of against the American people.
At twenty two, President Trump cut bureaucratic red tape as
well to make sure that the government would be more
(06:56):
efficient and when there were changes that need to be made,
that they could be madeaid very quickly. Twenty three, President
Trump banned funding for UNRUPP, a United Nations agency that
employed hundreds of hamas and jihad operatives that had all
been exposed. In fact, the Biden Harris administration knew what
was happening, and they still kept sending your tax dollars.
(07:19):
At number twenty four, President Trump restored transparency to government
so that you can actually even see where your money
is going, whether it be USAID or other government programs,
especially when it comes to non governmental agencies that were
funneling money to family and friends of countless government employees
and elected officials. Let's now move to diplomacy and military.
(07:41):
Coming in at twenty five, President Trump rescued American citizens
held hostage abroad in multiple countries. At twenty six, President
Trump restored maximum pressure on Iran instead of sending them
billions of dollars in cash, was exactly what Joe Biden did.
He also has made it clear that Iran cannot get
a nuclear weapon and that we will work with Israel
(08:02):
to make sure that never happens. President Trump is also
pursuing world peace, as he's made it clear, coming in
at twenty seven, saying I'm a guy that wants to
end wars, not start them. Number twenty eight, President Trump
signed an executive order to reinstate with back pay US
service members who were discharged under the military's Biden eraic
(08:23):
COVID vaccine mandates. A major promise that will bring back
amazing men and women to our military with back pay.
A huge victory for so many that were persecuted when
they refused to take the vaccine. At number twenty nine,
President Trump brought military recruitment to its highest number in decades,
(08:43):
all because he was elected and there were so many
men and women that wanted to serve under President Donald Trump,
hitting record recruitment numbers. Now, let's move to energy, where
we come in. At number thirty in the achievement list,
President Trump unleashed American energy sag drill, baby drill and
making it clear that so many of the areas that
Joe Biden said we couldn't explore and he shut down
(09:06):
exploration or opened back up. At thirty one, President Trump
ended Biden's liquefied natural gas export ban that will bring
countless jobs back to the marketplace for American citizens. At
number thirty two, President Trump presented every one of the
Biden administration's job killing pro China anti American energy regulations
(09:30):
as well, and at number thirty three, President Trump terminated
the Biden era electric vehicle mandate. For everyone out there
that thinks Elon Musk, by the way, is some guy
that you shouldn't trust, just know he actually worked with
the President to terminate electric vehicle mandates. By the way,
that Tesla is, in fact an electric vehicle. Think about
(09:51):
putting Americans first when that's what you do for a living.
It's pretty impressive by Elon Musk. Now, let's turn to
another issue, the issue of women in families. At number
thirty four, President Trump signed an executive order to protect
children from chemical and surgical mutilation of children. Coming in
at thirty five, President Trump into the unfair practice of
(10:12):
forcing women to compete against men in sports, and at
thirty six, President Trump made it the official policy of
the US government that there are only two sexes. Coming
in at thirty seven, President Trump expanded access to in
vitro fertilization known as IVF, and is working with insurance
to make sure that more of it is actually covered
(10:34):
by insurance instead of being out of pocket extreme expenses
that unfortunately doesn't allow for many families to walk down
the road of IVF. Now, let's move to education. Coming
in at thirty eight, President Trump ended the indoctrination of
American students by getting rid of many of the radical
programs that had nothing to do with reading, writing, and arithmetic,
(10:54):
including DEI. The Present coming in at thirty nine, also
set it it's time to reform education and to have
real standards and allow for parents to be more involved
in their kids' classrooms instead of being referred to as
domestic terrorists, which is what the Biden administration did when
parents start showing up at school board meetings. And at
number forty, President Trump is ending anti semitism as well
(11:18):
on college campuses, pulling massive funding that we talked about
on yesterday's program from so many universities, including Columbia University
that was receiving four hundred million dollars from your tax dollars.
The question you should be asking yourself is why, and
that's exactly the question that the President is asking and
stopping much of that funding. Let's now move to law
(11:39):
and order. Coming in at forty one, President Trump raised
standards for law enforcement, making it very clear that we
are going to put law enforcement first, but also raising
the standards so that we have the best and the
brightest in law enforcement. At forty two, President Trump is
returning law in order to American citizens and cities, even
liberal cities, making sure they're applying the federal laws appropriately,
(12:02):
and if they're not, he's going to war with those
cities to make sure that the citizens are actually going
to be safe. At number forty three, President Trump cracked
down on so called sanctuary cities as well that protected
legal immigrants refuse to work with Ice, even going after
many of the mayors and elected officials. Another campaign promise,
now let's move to state and local issues coming in
(12:23):
At forty four, President Trump reformed the federal disaster response,
making sure that there aren't winners or losers picked in
this country when there's a natural disaster depending on where
you live and if you are more of a conservative
or liberal area. The President says, it doesn't matter if
you're in La with the wildfires, or in Tennessee, or
North Carolina or South Carolina dealing with our hurricane in Florida.
(12:44):
The response in the federal government should always be perfect
and give you everything you need, and they should never
deny you government aid because you're in a more conservative
part of the country. Number forty five, President Trump administer
also terminated approval for New York City's burden some congestion
(13:05):
pricing scheme that was going to force citizens to pay
even more money to drive to work. He said, that
is something I'm not going to allow, and many liberals,
even in New York State, said this was a great move.
At number forty six, President Trump forced Washington, DC to
clean up homeless encampments as he pursues policies to restore
(13:25):
pride in America's capital city that had gone well totally
woke and had been filled with countless encampments because of
Joe Biden's administration. Number forty seven, let's move to the
issue of wokeness in America and Donald Trump is trying
to kill it. President Trump ended diversity, equity, and inclusion
initiatives within all parts of our federal government. And at
(13:47):
forty eight, President Trump brought back hiring based on merit
instead of the color of someone's skin or sexual orientation. Now,
let's move to number forty nine. It may be one
of the most important ones for this country, especially if
you were a mother. President Trump established the Make America
Healthy Again Commission, which redirects the national focus to promoting
(14:11):
health rather than simply managing disease. He also has brought in,
as you know, RFK Junior to make sure that we
are actually protecting our kids from basic things like dies
in our food. And finally, coming in at number fifty
the top fifty things that Donald Trump has done in
the first fifty days, it deals with the issue of faith.
(14:33):
President Trump established the White House Official Office of Faith
to protect American's religious liberties. He made it clear he's
not just protecting one religion or putting one ahead of another.
He is saying it's time that we protect all faith
and he has an official office in the White House
that is doing exactly that. So that is a big
(14:55):
list of fifty wins in fifty days for the President
of the United States of America. I hope you will
take this episode specifically and share it everywhere you can
on social media.
