Speaker 1 (00:01):
We're going to charge countries for doing business in our
country and taking our jobs, taking our wealth. Friend and foe,
and frankly friend has been oftentimes much worse than FAE.
Business is coming back to the United States. So this
is the beginning of Liberation Day in America.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Good Friday morning. Welcome, it is the forty seven Morning
Up Day with Ben Ferguson. And here are the three
big stories that you need to know about right now.
First up, at least Dephonics says, I'm staying in Congress
why to assure the Trump agenda to make America great again?
Continues the details on why this is such an important
decision coming up in a moment. Also, Donald Trump promised
(00:44):
that if you were anti American and here on a
visa from overseas on our college campuses, we're done with you.
Making good on that promise. Now more than three hundred
pro hamas terrorists protesters have gotten their visas revoked on
college camp and they say they're not done yet. I'll
have those details as well. And finally, the Trump administration
(01:06):
making it very clear after catching many of the domestic
terrorists going after Tesla dealerships. We won't negotiate plea deals
on any anti Tesla violence cases. It's the forty seven
Morning Update and it starts right now.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Story number one.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
I want to start with a very important story that
the media is absolutely lying to the American people about.
The story headline looks like it could be a scandal.
The White House is withdrawing representatives to phonics nomination as
the UN ambassador. Naturally, people think, oh my gosh, what
did she do wrong? What happened? Why is it that
(01:45):
they have stopped this, and what is the scandal behind it? Well,
let me explain it to you very clearly. There is
no scandal at all if you actually understand why they
decide to pull her name for that nomination. Now, let's
go back in time and I'm to walk you through this.
In November of twenty twenty four, President Donald Trump nominated
Representative Stefanic of New York to serve as the United
(02:07):
States Ambassador the UN. Now, if you actually know what
is going on, what I'm about to tell you is
actually not a big deal makes a lot of sense.
There is a reason why President Trump withdrew her nomination
on Thursday, emphasizing the critical need to maintain the Republican
Party's narrow majority in the House of Representatives, he stated, quote,
(02:31):
as we advanced our America First agenda, it is essential
that we maintain every Republican seat in Congress now at
the time, this is the numbers. Republicans are holding a
very slim majority two eighteen to two thirteen in the House.
There are four vacant seats right now, and Stephanic's departure
to assume the UN ambassador role would have well necessitated
(02:54):
Ay's special election of filler congressional seat. Here's the problem.
This is not a seat that is in a place
that you would guaranteed that a Republican would win. That
could easily jeopardize the GOP's ability to pass Donald Trump's
key legislation. House Speaker Mike Johnson, by the way, coming
out supporting the decision as well, highlighting Sephank's vital role
(03:15):
in advancing the party's legislative priorities now. Sephonik, who represented
New York's twenty first district since twenty fifteen, had previously
stepped down from her position as Chair of the House
Republican conference in anticipation of her ambassadorial appointment. Her continued
presence in Congress is seen as crucial for maintaining party
(03:38):
unity and ensuring the passage of significant initiatives on the
Republican agenda. So let's just step back and let you
totally understand this. There is nothing here except for Republicans
making the right decision. Let me also be clear that
I think that if Republicans gain in the House in
the midterms, there's a very good chance that Representative Elise
(03:58):
Stephonic could then go back can get a major job
in this administration. She would have been perfect to be
the US Ambassador United Nations. But it doesn't matter as
much if you lose control of the House and it
stalls Donald Trump's agenda of putting America First. We must
be unified to accomplish our mission, and elist Dephonic has
been a vital part of our efforts from the very beginning.
(04:20):
Trump also wrote, I've asked atleast as one of my
biggest allies to remain in Congress, quote unquote Donald Trump,
making it clear that he is a huge fan of
her work and is basically saying, I know you'd be
great at this other job. But right now I need
you in Congress, so there's no doubt that we get
the America First Agenda passed.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Now story number two, you can.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
File what I'm about to tell you under promises kept
after promises were made by Donald Trump during the campaign.
We now have more students that are being arrested by
ICE on college campuses. At the University of Alabama, a
doctoral student has been arrested by ICE. And also in
another headline from the Associated Press, they are now reporting
(05:08):
that a Turkish student at Tuffts University is the latest
Palestinian supporter swept up in a US crack down. Now
let's go to Alabama first. The University of Alabama says
one of its doctoral students has been arrested by Immigration
and Customs enforcement, adding to the growing list of foreign
students that have been targeted by law enforcement. Quote. The
(05:30):
University of Alabama recently learned that a doctoral student has
been detained off campus by federal immigration authorities. Federal privacy
laws limit what can be shared about the individual student,
the university said. The student, an Iranian national, was identified
by the Crimson White. Now that's the university's student newspaper,
who has a student visa, was detained this week, and
(05:52):
it's not clear what, if any charges he is facing.
The Hill reached out to the Department of Home in
Security for comment. Most of the foreign student, by the way,
the Trump administration's target have been involved in pro palaestin
in protests. In some way, the administration is seeking to
make use of a law They say the Secretary of
State can deport a non citizen who threatens the foreign
(06:13):
policy of the nation. Against these individuals, now, don't worry.
The lefties at the University of Alabama and the College
Democrats put out a statement saying, quote, our fears have
come to pass. Donald Trump and Tom Homan and Ice
have struck a cold, vicious dagger through the hearts of
au international community. Students at several high profile universities across
(06:38):
the country have also been detained amid the Trump administration's
crack down. Another example of that is what we're now
hearing from the Associated Press that a Turkish student at
Tufts University has been arrested. Now the Turkish student was
detained by federal officers as she walked along a street
in Boston suburb. It's the latest supporter of a palestin
in causes group that have been swept up, and the
(07:00):
Trump administration's cracked down on immigrants who have expressed their
political views. That's how the AP is reporting it. In reality,
that's not actually what they're doing. The Trump administration is
cracking down on immigrants who have student visas who are
actually threatening and going after others in the US. The
thirty year old, a doctoral student at Tufts University, was
(07:23):
swiftly moved out of Massachusetts, a demonstration of how US
Immigration and Customs enforcement is sending immigrants who are taken
into cussy to detention centers, are deporting them altogether before
a federal judge has a chance to weigh in on
their case and possibly halt the actions. That is how
the AP is sounding the alarm. The woman who was
attained Tuesday, shortly after she left her home in Somerville
(07:46):
had been moved to a nice detention center in Louisiana
by the time her lawyer went to court and a
judge ordered her to be kept in Massachusetts. US government
lawyers set in a court document Thursday, they said they
made her lawyers aware that she was being moved and
facilitated contact with her Wednesday night. A senior Department of
Home in Security spokesman said federal authorities detain the woman
(08:08):
after an investigation found that she had quote engaged in
activities in support of Hamas, a foreign terrorist organization that
relishes the killing of Americans. The department did not provide
evidence of that support. Of course, is how again the
AP is trying to make it look like Donald Trump
did something wrong. Now if you look at the facts here,
(08:29):
when the Department of Homeland Security in this case tells
you what happened, they say they are deporting a woman
that is engaged in activities in support of a terrorist
organization that relishes the killing of Americans Hamas. That right,
there should be enough to say, Okay, this is a
good decision for America. It's a good decision for the
(08:50):
safety of students on college campuses. And why on earth
would you want someone like this in America? As our guest.
The Secretary of State, by the way, Marco Rubio, said,
the Trump administration is revoked the visas of at least
three hundred people, including this woman. We do it every day,
quote unquote. We gave you a visa to come and
study and get a degree not to become a social activist,
(09:13):
to tear up our university campuses, Rubio said to reporters
during a stop in Ghana. So, Marrow, the story is this.
If you think Donald Trump and the State Department or
Tom Homan or Marco Ruby are going to stop deporting
students that are clearly hating America or supporting terrorist organizations,
so well you're wrong, because they're doing it quote every day.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
And lastly, story number three.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
If there is a theme that you could say relates
to Donald Trump and his White House and law enforcement
under him, it's pretty clear it's fafo. And with the
recent developments in the investigation of the attacks on Tesla properties,
well now they've led to a significant number of arrests,
highlighting law enforcement's commitment to addressing these terrorist incidents. In
(09:58):
Las Vegas, authorities of APPA pre hinted a thirty six
year old on charges including arson and possession of an
explosive device. The man was accused of attacking a Tesla
service center, fire bombing it and having firearms, resulting in
vehicle fires and property damage. And Texarcano, there was a
thirty three year old that was arrested for allegedly running
(10:20):
his all terrain vehicle into multiple park teslas. Tesla's Century
Mode captured footage of the incidents, aiding in his identification
and arrest. The man now faces charges of felony, criminal mischief,
and failure to identify. These arrests are demonstrate the effectiveness
of collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies and also the
(10:42):
role of technology with Tesla and ensuring public safety. Yes,
getting caught by the Tesla's cameras, you gotta admit is
pretty hilarious. Now, Pamboni is not laughing at all about
any of this. In fact, Pamboni went on Fox News
Channel to make it very clear if you're one of
these people involved in this domestic terrorism with Tesla, well
(11:02):
you're not getting a deal ever from us.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
What's happening with this Las Vegas Tesla criminal who he
was arrested and now federal charges have been filed against him.
This was something that was needed given everything we're seeing
happening to those dealerships and those cars across the country.
Speaker 5 (11:21):
That was remarkable police work, working with the state Police,
r FBI. They have been going non stop on this case.
This guy is in custody Laura. He is facing five
year minimum mandatory to twenty years in prison. And this
was great police work. This guy thought he got away
with it. So these people better look out. They better
cut it out because we are coming after you, and
(11:42):
at my direction, there will be no negotiating on these people.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Now.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
We are seeking twenty years in prison. They are setting
off bombs, the huge fires. Look what you're seeing, huge
massive fires in residential neighbors, going to get schlaging stations.
Someone is going to get killed, a citizen is going
to get killed. And these people, we are not doing
any plea negotiations on them now.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
The question obviously is will these crazy stop attacking Tesla cars.
The answer is probably no, because I'm assuming that many
of them believe that they're somehow gonna get away with it.
But what we do know is that this administration is
coming after you, and when they catch you, you're not
gonna get a plea deal. This is not the Biden
administration that goes easy on criminal activities.
