Cash for Exit Trump's Deportation Plan

President Donald Trump proposed a new plan to pay illegal immigrants to self-deport from the United States. The plan aims to make the deportation process comfortable and incentivize illegal immigrants to leave voluntarily. Trump suggested providing stipends or money and plane tickets to those willing to self-deport. The administration hopes this approach will help reduce the number of illegal immigrants competing for jobs and housing in the U.S. Trump's immigration aide, Steven Miller, emphasized the need to remove the estimated 15 million illegal immigrants who entered during Joe Biden's presidency. The plan also includes reviving laws requiring migrants to register with the government, canceling visas, and empowering local law enforcement to arrest illegal immigrants.

An Angel Mother's Grief

A recount of the tragic story of Patty Morin, an "Angel Mom" whose daughter Rachel was brutally murdered by an illegal immigrant from El Salvador. Patty Morin shared the harrowing details of her daughter's death, describing the violent and gruesome nature of the crime. Rachel was a 37-year-old mother of five, and her murder left a profound impact on her family. The story highlights the emotional toll on families affected by crimes committed by illegal immigrants and underscores the importance of Trump's deportation plan in preventing such tragedies.

The EPA Fights Back

EPA Administrator Lee Zelden criticized the Biden administration's management of the $20 billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF), likening it to throwing gold bars off the Titanic. Zelden revealed that the EPA's annual budget is about $10 billion, but in 2024, the agency spent over $60 billion, much of it from the Inflation Reduction Act. He uncovered waste, fraud, and abuse in the allocation of funds, including a case where a Stacy Abrams-linked NGO received $2 billion despite having only $100 in 2023. Zelden emphasized the need for enhanced oversight and reallocation of funds to ensure the EPA fulfills its actual job instead of being a radical organization.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Oh, we're going to be a good deal.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
I think we have a I think we're going to
make a very good deal with Jenn. I think that
you will see we'll make a very good deal with Jed.

Speaker 4 (00:15):
You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.

Speaker 5 (00:19):
Welcome, It is the forty seven Morning Update with Ben
Ferguson on this very special good Friday. We have three
big stories for you this morning. And first up, Donald
Trump has developed a plan to pay illegal immigrants to
self deport I'll have those details for you in a
second up. Next, in a shocking move, major networks refuse

(00:41):
to take the White House briefing where angel mother Patty
Morin recounted the terrible tragedy of how an a legal killer,
decided to take her daughter's life. We are going to
have that story for you because they wouldn't er it.
And finally we're joined by the EPA Administrator Lee as
he talks about terminating Biden Harris twenty billion dollars in

(01:06):
wasteful spending and grants that he described as throwing gold
bars off the Titanic. It's the forty seven Morning Update
and it starts right now.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
Story number one.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Get ready to celebrate. Donald Trump has come out with
a new plan to pay illegal migrants to self deport
and it could save you hundreds of billions of dollars.
President Trump saying it's time to help illegal immigrants self
deport from the United States. Why well, this is happening
as Democrats have launched a massive resistance. The President making

(01:39):
it very clear, saying, quote, we're doing a self deportation program,
and we're going to make it comfortable for people, and
we're going to work with those people to come back
into our country legally, the good ones. That is what
Donald Trump said to the Spanish language division of Fox News.
Trump made it very clear he's deciding how the program

(02:00):
is going to work. It could be giving people stipends
or even giving people some money and a plane ticket,
and we're going to work, he says, with the illegal
immigrants who are willing to self deport. He also said this,
if they're good, if we want them back in, we're
going to work with them to get them back in
as quickly as we can. Now, this may be the

(02:22):
carrot that the President is dangling, saying, yeah, you believe,
and you self deport quickly, and this administration will remember
that when you try to come back. The idea of
paying illegal immigrants to leave isn't a bad idea and
principle is also part of what the President had to say, as.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
You probably know, we're doing a self deportation and we're
going to make it comfortable for people, and we're going
to work with those people to come back into our
country legally. Stephan good, Well, well, we're starting it. We
haven't started it right now. We're getting the murderers out.
We have our we have our our total aim. When
the very bad one says, you can imagine because you

(03:01):
have some great people that came in, but we have
some very bad ones. We had eleven thousand and eighty
eight murderers, half of them killed more than one person.
These are rough, bad people. We want them out and
that's mostly our focus. But what we want to do
is we're going to have a self deportation program, which
we haven't even announced yet. I guess I'm announcing it

(03:22):
to you. What Rachel here it is, the only thing
I haven't determined is what are we going to do.
We're gonna give them a stipend. We're going to give
them some money and a plane ticket, and then we're
going to work with them. If they're good, if we
want them back in, We're going to work with them
to get them back in as quickly as we can.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Now some of you may be asking, why would we
actually help people deport pay them to deport themselves. Well,
it's a numbers game, is what it basically comes down to.
Trump's top immigration aid Steven Miller, said the deputies are
working to do whatever they can to get the more
than fifteen million illegals who came in during Joe Biden's

(03:58):
presidency out of the country. He also said these fifteen
million illegals are competing for work in housing against roughly
three hundred and twenty million Americans. Christy Nome, the Secretary
of the Department of Homeland Security, estimates the overall legal
migrant population is now twenty one million strong. Trump officials

(04:19):
are reviving laws that require migrants to register with the government.
They're canceling visas and enabling border militarization. They are canceling
social security numbers, empowering states and local law enforcement agencies
to arrest illegal immigrants, and they're better coordinating the enforcement
of anti crime laws. Trump is also facing protests from

(04:43):
white collar supporters who are being pushed out of jobs
and careers by counter productive H one B visa program
for mixed killed foreign workers. At least one point five
million migrants hold white collar jobs legally and illegally throughout
the US economy. Well, now you may understand why the
President is advocating for this. Now he's saying, the faster

(05:04):
we can get illegal immigrants out, the better it is
for American workers and for our bottom line is taxpayers. Yes,
some are going to find this controversial, but when you
understand the magnitude of how many illegal immigrants are taking
away from Americans, you understand this may be the best
check taxpayers have ever written.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Next story number two.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
There was an extremely powerful moment inside the White House
Press briefing room that happened, and it was shameful to
witness CNN and MSNBC, for example, refuse to take the
Angel mom Patty Morin's story as she recounts the terrible
tragedy of how an illegal immigrant killed her beautiful daughter Rachel.

(05:47):
This story should have been a story that the media covered.
But what do they do. Many in the media decided
not to cover it at all because they didn't want you.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
To hear her story.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
We're going to play that story for you right now.
It is an important one, and I hope every one
of you will share this podcast wherever you can on
social media so that everyone can hear exactly what this
age your mom, Patty Morin of Maryland told to the
American people. As you describe it, it's the whole story
of her daughter and what happened.

Speaker 7 (06:19):
A lot of you don't know the whole story about
Rachel and about the crime that was committed against her.
Even us, her family, we didn't know all the details.
They kept most of it close to their chest, the
detectives because they didn't want to do anything to hurt

(06:41):
the case. They wanted to keep the integrity of the case,
so they kept everything close. I sat for the last
two weeks in her trial, and we saw layer upon
layer upon layer of evidence against the accused, an illegal
immigrant from Mouthsalva door, and the things that we thought, well,

(07:02):
maybe this might have happened. We didn't know. But when
we were at the trial, we got all the puzzle pieces,
and I want to share some of those things with you.
You know that Rachel's a thirty seven year old mother.
She has five children. We've walked the trail for the
last twenty five years that we've lived in Maryland. It's
a safe place for our family. It's where we go
to get a little bit of New England, because that's

(07:25):
where we're from, New England. When she went on that
trail that day, she was not planning on dying. She
wasn't planning on walking to her death. She was planning
on going to the grocery store with her girls afterwards.
Victor Martinez, he waited for her, He waited for her
to come closer. He saw her, He saw that there
was nobody around. He attacked her. He dragged her one

(07:50):
hundred and fifty feet, blood gushing from her head. It
left one hundred and fifty foot trail of her blood
to the culverts where he took He picked her up.
He threw her against the wall of the tunnel and
he raped her. But before he did that, he stopped
on the trail and rocks still stained with her blood.

(08:12):
He used them to hammer her head against those rocks.
They say twenty at least twenty times. They could count
the cuts in her head. They said that when they
did the autopsy, and I've seen the pictures. There's a
six inch square in the back of her head where
the skull is shattered the way that you would crush

(08:35):
an eggshell in pieces, three fords of her brain. Hemorrhaged,
her right and left side of her face, bashed in
her beautiful face, bashed in her head, bashed in, broken bones, fractures.
He takes and he drags her some more. He drags
her through the thorn bushes. She has all the scrapes

(08:58):
and cuts on her body. There wasn't one inch of
her body that didn't have some kind of injury, whether
it's bruising, broken bones, contusions, the scratches. She had a
fractured rib, fractured nose, fractured skull. And then he takes
her into the tunnel and he picks her up. He

(09:18):
throws her against the wall. Blood is gushing from her head.
Her hair is soaked in blood. And they showed us
pictures of her body against the wall, outlined the blood
outlined her body, and you could see where the blood
ran down around her as he was raping her. And
then he threw her down and raked her some more,

(09:39):
and then he strangled her because he didn't want her
to be able to live to tell the story. They
said that when they did the autopsy on her neck,
that one of the things they do is they open
up the neck and they look to see how far
the injury is, and they went all the way down
as far as an injury as possible, hemorrhaging in the muscles.

(10:00):
Of how strong and violent the group was around her.
These are the kind of people that have no compulsion,
like to them, this is nothing. And when he was
sitting in the courtroom, he actually looked like he thought
he was going to be set free. There was no

(10:22):
remorse on his face at all. This person took my
daughter so violently and so gruesomely and so graphically that
they sealed the pictures because I don't want my granddaughters
to see these pictures. These are the kind of criminals
President Trump wants to remove from our country. These are

(10:43):
the kind of criminals that we need to remove from
our country. We are American citizens. Why should we allow
people like this, violent criminals that have no conscience at
all to murder our mothers, our sisters, our daughters. What
I don't understand.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
I hope every one of you listening to Patty Morin's story,
and it's excruciating to listen to, We'll share it with
your family and your friends, because the reality is millions
of foreign men have come across the border illegally in
recent years as gotaways, as catch and releases. Under the
Biden administration, there is little, in fact zero concern for

(11:25):
media and activists about vetting back then of the people
coming into this country, including those on the terrorists watch list.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
And now all of a.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
Sudden, what are the Democrats doing. They're scrutinizing every person
that's being deported from this country, and they're standing up
for them instead of Patty Moren's daughter. I hope that
this story is a reminder to all of us of
exactly what Donald Trump is fighting for, and it's people

(11:52):
like Patty and her family instead of the MS thirteen
gang members that are being sent to El Salvador.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
And here is story number three.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
EPA administrator Lee Zelden sat down with me and senter
Ted Kruz for the podcast that we do together called
Verdict with Ted Cruz, and he has criticized the Biden
administration's management of the twenty billion dollar Greenhouse Gas Reduction
Fund known as gg RF, liking in it to throwing
gold bars off the Titanic. I want you to hear

(12:23):
from the EPA administrator, Leez Elden, in his own words
about the waste, fraud and abuse that he is uncovering
and stopping at the EPA.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
EPA's annual budget is about ten billion dollars. So far,
I've canceled twenty two billion dollars worth of grants.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
And how is that possible? One might ask.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Well, in twenty twenty four, the amount that EPA obligated
and spent was over sixty billion dollars. A lot of
money came through the Inflation Reduction Act when Democrats were
in charge of Congress, and a lot of that money
went through EPA. They created these green slush and in
one case, twenty billion dollars which they couldn't get out

(13:04):
on their own fast enough. They ended up parking at
an outside bank. Towards the end of the Biden administration
to give through eight pass through NGOs, many of them
were brand new. One is that Stacy Abrams linked NGO
that received two billion, even though they only received one
hundred dollars in twenty twenty three, and because of self dealing.

Speaker 6 (13:23):
Wait, hold on a second, they went from one hundred
dollars to two billion dollars.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
How crazy is that?

Speaker 2 (13:30):
And then on page seven of their grant agreement, the
Biden EPA gives them ninety days to complete a training
called how to develop a Budget.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Now, if you feel like this.

Speaker 6 (13:40):
Is you know, with two billion dollars, you don't need
much of a budget, just spend on whatever you want.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
Oh, I'll add another dynamic to it.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
On page one of the grant agreement, they have twenty
one days to start spending the money. So from day
zero they have twenty one days to start spending money.
They had ninety days to complete a training called how
to develop a budget.

Speaker 6 (13:59):
Look, this is insane. And you described what you found
as essentially twenty billion dollars in gold bars that were
being thrown off the Titanic. That that the Biden administration
they realized, Oh, no, Trump is coming in, let's just
throw this all out the window. I mean, is that
what you found.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
That's exactly what happened and what alerted Senate Republicans like
Senator Cruz. This was something that Senator Cruz and I
spoke about back in December when we met before my
confirmation hearing.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
There was this video that came out of a Biden.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
EPA political appointee, a Biden EPA political appointe, talking about
how they were tossing gold bars off the Titanic rushing
and get billions of dollars out the door before in inauguration.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
This was a Biden phrase that was It.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Was the Biden EPA political appointee.

Speaker 6 (14:46):
I thought that was being clever. They called it that
you gotta be kidding that.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Yes, and they were doing it with an eye towards
getting themselves jobs at the recipient NGO's. So this was
us fulfilling a commitment to figure out, we'll go find
the goal bars, a commitment to bring those goal bars
back into the treasury on behalf of the American taxpayer.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
Not only is Zelden taking the steps to terminate the grants,
citing concerns over the program's integrity, potential fraud, and misalignment
with the EPA's priority, but he also emphasized that the
agency will not tolerate the wasteful spending of your tax dollars.
And now they're aiming to reallocate funds with enhance oversight.
He also said that the President has empowered him to

(15:31):
make sure the EPA is doing what its actual job
is instead of being a radical organization that's been hijacked
by the left.
