I think, check their smoke alarm?

And when's the last time you checked yours?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Why of that?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
I checked the other day because the battery went low,
so it automatically checked itself.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Okay. Now, technically, according to the US Fire Administration, we're
supposed to check check them smoke detectors once a month,
replace the battery.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Once a year.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Hmmm, checking the smoke detector is correct, Which is scary
that one in five homeowners haven't done it in.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Over a year.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
But Mandy, I feel your pain on that whole beeping
smoke detector thing, because that is straight up annoying.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
It is bad, Yes, it is. It's like take it
out of the ceiling.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yes, no, that's what happens.

No, don't know.

You better go put it back here, don't put it
back in the ceiling because you just don't know.

Okay, change the battery and put it back in.

I did change the battery. I will give myself that.
