Lindsey is from Arlington with a crazy first date story
to tell. So what's up.

There was a guy who I knew from just classes.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
We didn't really have mutual overlaps, but we had been flirting,
you know, before and after our class, and one day
he asked me to go out on a date with him.
We went to a Italian restaurant off campus and he
starts getting really distracted and he keeps looking over at a.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Table near us, and then he tells me, you know,
this is.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Awkward, but that's my ex girl friend over there, and
we made eye contacts, and like, now I feel weird,
so I'm just going to go over and say hi.
I was just like, oh, of course, I totally understand.
He doesn't ever end up coming back over.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
To our table, He just leaves with her.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
I've been left with the bill and no way to
get home because he drove us there, so I had
to ask the manager if they could call me a cab.
But I wasn't expecting to have to take a cab,
so I didn't have any cash.

So then the cab.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Had to drive me all around looking for an atm
This date ended up costing me quite a lot, both
in terms of money and humiliation.

So at some point you go back to school, do
you confront him? Does he apologize?
Speaker 2 (01:25):
He never apologized.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
I just would throw him daggers at class. There was
no more flirting before and after class.

And that's exactly how you should have treated that person.
As a reformed serial person of that type, I can
say that most assuredly. It's the only way we understand.

Did you ever end up meeting it a guy that
didn't pull that over on you?

Yes, I ended up meeting my husband actually in Galway.

Ireland, and I'm hoping that he never ran into any
x's when you guys were out and about, because I
have a feeling next time your answer would be yes, yes,
I would mind if you went and.
