10/15 – Regina and the Cross-Country Road Trip Date

Regina in D.C. went on a first date to a gentleman’s club and ended the night going on a cross country road trip. Listen to this Crazy First Date to find out where they went and if they ever saw each other again.

It's Toby and Chilli's Crazy firs Day.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Regina, good morning, So tell us this story. We can't
wait to hear it.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
So it starts when I'm in my early twenties.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
I was in Florida at the time and decided that
for my birthday I wanted to go to a gun
range for the first time.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
There are tons of them in Florida.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
I get there and I think the manager and I
were flirting a little bit and thought it was cute,
so he let me shoot a little longer for free
without charging me extra. He asked me if I wanted
to go hang out with him and his friends to
this club, and I explained to him, I don't really
like bars or clubs, but I don't mind going to
Chip club.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
So we wound up going to his Chip club. And
then he and I.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Were talking on the way home and he ran when
he said things about his car. He had this nice
like a red BMWM three. Was talking about him going
and driving places and asked me if I wanted to
go on a trip with him. Eventually, I'm like, sure,
why not go now? So we wound up driving from
like Orlando kissend Me Florida to Dallas, the thing in Texas.
So he had a BMW and he had a Proby
Davids Bikes and we drove on the motorcycle. So he

(00:55):
has this big touring bike and I'm a small old
lady and I asked him, I wondered, pacifico for me
to pick it up, because he does it with such ease.
So he stands there and he watches me kind of
muscle with or tussle with the bike.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Funny get it up. But the way I got it
up was letting it lean on my calf.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Mind you, he knows bikes, he knows cars, and he
watched him me do this and then the tot and
I wound up with a three third degree burn on
my leg.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
We wind up spending a couple of days there.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
But it was an adventurous thing and I think I
had fun and again making bad decisions when I was
in my early twenties.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
After that weekend, which was one non ending first date,
did you guys ever hang out again?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Or was that the end of it? We did hang
out again. We wounded up dating for about a year.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Dang, Can I ask you why you would agree on
a first date to go from a Strip Club to
Texas on a random road trip on a motorcycle. Because
I thought you were saying he had like an M three.
I'm like, okay, well at BMW, that's a nice shakedown.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
That is even that was pretty brave of her to
get into a sports car with the guy. But you
even ditched the sports car.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
I was in my early twenties making bad decision. Now
I know not to make Steved Joyce's.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
That was quite the first date, indeed, very crazy, so
crazy that you need to find a date or someone
to go see John Legend when he comes to town
December twenty first at the Hall at Live.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
