Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Toby and Chilly. It's crazy. First day. Jim in DC,
Good morning, we're listening.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
This is a long time ago, probably about thirty years ago.
I was in South Florida. I was actually in the
Air Force and a friend of mine had set me
up with someone else in the Air Force and we
were all we lived in the dorms on base, and
so we went out to dinner. He took me to
a Mexican restaurant and I ordered extra sour cream and
extra guacamole. When I ordered it, he said, Wow, why

(00:26):
don't you just ductate that to your size?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
No, yeah, And I was mortified because I was like
barely twenty and so I was mortified. So the conversation
kind of died there. We ate our food and talked
a little bit, and then went back back to the
base and went our separate ways and never saw him again.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
He definitely needed a little lesson on what not to
say to a woman on a date.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Exactly did you ever go.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Back to the original person who set you guys up
and tell them what happened?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
So my friend Carol, we're still friends to this day
and we laugh about it all the time, Like anytime
we get together, if there is sour cream or guacamole
in the area, we always say, remember when, remember that guy,
that jerk, And she kind of didn't know him well.
He was a friend of a friend, so it was
just a whole removed situation, but we still laugh about it.
He was a really skinny guy, and I do a

(01:21):
big thighs, but they're muscular, and so I think he
was just well intimidated by my big thighs.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
That's not his place.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
No, on a first date to talk about the size
of anybody's thighs.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I know.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Tell me that dust tates the sour cream and guacamole
in to my thighs. And at twenty, that is mortifying
for a young lady.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
No, there's nothing okay about that.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
It doesn't matter if you're twenty, it doesn't matter if
you're forty, it doesn't matter if you're sixty. You don't
talk about somebody's body. You're right like that on a
first date, especially if you're on a date because you're
trying to I mean, you're trying to do date things.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
It was glorifying at the time.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
I'm guessing that he didn't try to reach out to
you in any way, shape or form.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Right, he probably got the message.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
No, Well, now you got to think about who you
want to take to something else.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
We love to send you to go see Mariah Carey,
Capital Win Arena, December first, thanks to our friends at
Live Nation.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Oh thank you. I think I'll take my friend Carol.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Set me up with that.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Really, she won't mind. You got extra gualk in sour cream.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
That's right exactly, and we'll have sour cream and gwalk
at the show round here.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Your crazy first dates can get your stuff When you
tell us your story at eight six, six, nine, two,
seven forty three sixty one, good or bad.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
It could mean tickets to go see Trans Siberian Orchestra,
Capital Win Arena, December twenty, third floor seats at.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
That call now, good story means you win.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
And remember just because you think it may not be
good doesn't mean it is, and you should tell it anyway.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
