Good morning, Chilly and I are listening tell us this
crazy first date story.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
A number of years ago, I had a friend. We
were majoring in the same thing, so we were taking
a lot of classes together, and his name was darn
and I was in another relationship. He would tell me,
you know, lonely, he's looking for the for the right girl, this, that,
and the other. My two younger sisters came to visit me.
He was totally enamored by one of them in particular,

and wanted me to set them up on a date.
So that that weekend, when they came up to visit,
I set them up on a date. The next day,
you know, I'm talking to him, you know, and you
know she was just stuck on ourselves and just did
not hit it off. He had invited myself and some
other friends over to his place, just kind of a
college get together. You know. Eventually everybody left except for

he myself, and we're sitting there and he's still talking about,
you know, you know, how lonely he is. Next thing,
you know, one thing led to another and we're there
in each other's arms. You know we were seeing fireworks
with each other. It was this was it soulmate. Fast
forward to the day we just recently celebrated at the
end of October our fortieth wedding anniversary. Wow, you know,

it's been a.

Long time, but you know, I mean, you know, you
got you got the bumps from the road and everything,
but you know, still soulmates.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
The stars aligne, the stars ALIGNE.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
It sounds like you're stuck up, sister. Did you a
favor turned that guy off so he never went out
with her again and ended up going out.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
With you instead, And to this day he still says
he made the right choice.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Well, I would hope so after forty years, the better
think more than that he made the right choice, that's
for certain.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
