It's Toby and Chilli's crazy first date.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Good morning, Mike in Springfield. You've got Toby and Chilly
in the morning, and I hear you have a crazy
first date story for us. What's up?
Speaker 3 (00:10):
It was twenty thirteen. My friend was getting married. I
was a groomsman, she was a bridesmaid. We met the
first time right after they had just gotten married, and
the reception was on a booze cruise in Annapolis. We
had some beverages and started making out on the dance
board and then physically like ran into her parents while
we're making out. And now we're married and have two kids.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Okay, so that wasn't even technically your first date.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
That was your first meet and hook up. First meet,
first date, first hook up, first everything.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Must have been one incredible booze cruise. Are you sure
it wasn't the booze that helped influence the decision making gear.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
It was maybe the booze, maybe the uniform, but it
all worked in my favor.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
And did the parents still bring up the fact that
y'all were acting some sort of way while you were
on this cruise together.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
I don't know if they remember, but there's a great
picture of the then bride and groom from their reception
and in the background and like the shadows you can
see us just really making out. So it's a great memory.
There's an even better picture of us as bridesmaid and groomsmen,
not looking too happy walking down the aisle, and then
superimpose that next to the picture of us as husband

and wife. We look much happier.
