specific body sensations. Sensations in theheart were strongly linked to esthetic appreciation of
feelings of pleasure, which in turnled to the decline and feelings of awkwardness
and anxiety. Meanwhile, sensations inthe stomach, brought on by predictable chord

progressions, brought on feelings of calm, satisfaction, and nostalgia, and they
had over five hundred participants participating inthis what they call map, where they
felt music in their bodies while listeningto eight short notes. Each tune had
a mix of chord progressions with varyingdegrees of uncertainty and surprise, and participants

were also asked about how the chordsmade them feel emotionally, and analysis reveals
the tunes were more surprisingly were feltin the heart, while predictably the music
was felt in the stomach. Itis amazing and mysterious how music impacts human
beings, but it does and that'swhat matters. But it'll probably remain a
