Welcome to this hour of the DoctorBob Martin Show. I'm Doctor Bob.
I'm here to encourage you to becomeyour own best doctor most of the

(01:47):
in the hour. I want youto stay tuned for that. All this
is gonna be good. One ofmy heroes, one of my heroes in
life, is coming up. I'mgonna be having the honor of interviewing this
amazing human being. You will beamazed. So stay tuned. She has
a new book out and you willlove hearing her comments. But we begin
(02:09):
this hour telling you that we havea health poll question on the website.
Love to get your opinion of thisweek's health poll question. You know,
there's been a lot of talk aboutwhether someone should be president of the United
States past a certain age. Everybody'squestioning age now, specifically with President Joe
(02:31):
Biden's age and any other person who'sgetting up there in their age, and
our guest is going to sort ofblow that out of the water. But
nonetheless, now the age of aperson being the president of the United States
is coming into questions. So weasked this question on my website at doctor
bob dot com, spelling out theword doctor, doctor bob dot com.
(02:57):
Since seventeen percent of people aged seventyfive to eighty four and thirty two percent
of people aged eighty five or olderhave Alzheimer's dementia, the worst form of
dementia. Are you in favor ofsetting a maximum age to be president of
(03:17):
the United States? Yes? Orno? Should we set a maximum age
for presidency in the United States?Yes or no? Please vote on that
at doctor bob dot com spelling outthe word doctor doctor Bob dot com.
Will have the results on another show. Speaking of that. Of course,
now we hear all this stuff aboutthese doctors coming coming to the White House.
(03:40):
A neurologist who specializes in Parkinson's disease. Does President Joe Biden have Parkinson's
disease? You know what's going onhere? Well, Parkinson's experts predict that
President Biden's health over the next fouryears. They can predict it. In
fact, that Biden stration is beingforced to fend off uncomfortable questions about whether
(04:04):
the president has Parkinson's disease. Sincethis neurologist is what visited the White House
like eight or nine times specializing inParkinson's disease. The visitor logs reveal the
doctor that's what he does. Anumbrella Parkinson's disease is an umbrella condition for
(04:25):
brain disorders that cause slower movements, stiffness and tremors, and other symptoms.
This doctor visited the White House likeeight times over the last eight months or
the last past year. And neurologistsmds are finally speaking out about what the
(04:45):
next four years could look like ifPresident Biden does in fact indeed have the
condition, if he's successful in asecond term. They say the public should
know what they're signing up for invoting for current President Joe Biden. Doctor
Chris Winter is a neurologist in Virginiawho has treated hundreds of Parkinson's patients.
(05:13):
That's what he is saying. Andyou also have another doctor Albhi Caperria is
a neurologist based at the University ofNorth Carolina. Both of them did not
want to perform an online diagnosis andreiterated that they had not examined President Biden
in person. However, they didsay that these he has sort of symptoms
(05:42):
of a person who would have typicalParkinson's disease or parkinson syndrome. Now,
it is true, the other slowmovements, the stiffness, and there are
other signs. President has a laundrylist apparently of the hallmark the hallmark symptoms
of Parkinson's disease. Based on theseneurologists. I've seen it for years as
(06:06):
well. I've talked about it hereon the show. I've talked about all
the president's president's health conditions over theyears here on the show. So it's
not that I'm talking about one overthe other based on a political agenda that
I have. We do not havea political agenda on the show. We
are a political we don't. ButI have been free to comment on the
(06:27):
health of presidential candidates presidents themselves onthe show. But when you look at
his stiff gait and balance issues fallingfrequently, and his quiet voice where he
whispers, and his faint voice, and also mixing up words, and I
know a lot of people have well, he's always done. That's just Joe.
(06:48):
No, those are classic signs. When you put them all together,
it's never one sign is a constellationof signs. Now, in an attempt
to assure voters and Democrats that Presidentand is fit enough to win the election
and another four years in office. The President and his team have promised he
(07:09):
will rest more often and stop performinghis duties after eight PM. That is
their promise to Americans this. DoctorCaprina and doctor Winter state very candidly that
if the President does have Parkinson's,the symptoms cannot be relieved with rest.
So you can't relieve the symptoms ofParkinson's with just resting, It's not possible.
(07:32):
They said that within five to tenyears of a diagnosis, patients with
Parkinson's, their speech becomes increasingly softand slurred, which is what we notice
is going on with President Biden rightnow. Walking becomes harder while patients are
also struck with persistent tiredness. That'swhy he has to have the short schedule
(07:55):
apparently. But if patients are nottreated the White House claims Biden is not,
then they can deteriorate much more quickly. Over the last twelve months,
the doctors warned that the President wouldlikely continue to suffer from more of the
same symptoms that happen more frequently,So that's more falls more cognitive impairment,
(08:20):
which often comes with Parkinson's disease. One of the doctors said, I saw
him freeze at the June teenth. It's just more of that same reality.
That's doctor Winter's saying this. Andwithin three to four years. Doctor Winter's
warns he's a neurologist we're talking abouthere, warned he's a specialist in Parkinson's
(08:41):
disease. Warned that President Biden couldbe at risk of other complications with his
Parkinson's disease. They believe he hasis all the homeworks for it, even
though they're not confirming it. Andthese include long and wakeful nights where he
struggles to get sleep. He alreadyhas sleep apnea that's a problem, as
(09:05):
well as suffering from nightmares and hallucinationsthat make him increasingly fatigued and confused during
the day. It's also possible thathe declines to such a point. These
are the doctors stating this where heis not there much any more cognitively,
he's just losing his cognition, meaninghe would seem aloof distracted and struggle to
(09:31):
engage with aids and advisors. Parkinson'shas five different stages, with moderate at
Parkinson's disease considered to be stage twoor three when symptoms are noticeable. Doctor
Winter's, one of the neurologists Parkinson'sspecialists, doesn't use the staging system,
but believes President Biden definitely has moderateParkinson's, at least saying that it was
(09:58):
definitely impacting his daily living. Insevere Parkinson's, which he will probably progress
to at stage four, patients areunable to stand without assistance but need to
use a cane or a walker tostand up. And I mean it's just
I mean, so the diagnosis andthe outlook from these two experts that have
(10:24):
been looking at and analyzing the currentPresident of the United States, Joe Biden
in their assessments, even though theydon't want to try to diagnose somebody without
without actually examining them, they claimhe has all the hallmarks, every one
of them. You can check theboxes off, and you just can't hide
(10:45):
that anymore because that's not the wayit used to be in his life.
All Right, we have a veryspecial guest coming up. You will not
want to miss this. You aretuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show,
because I'm gonna stand by you.I will always stand by you, and
(11:11):
I welcome you or welcome you backto this hour of The Doctor Bob Martin
Show. We thank you so verymuch for tuning into the program today,
And if you're just tuning into theshow, I want to call your attention
to my website where I have anew poll question. I'd love to get
your opinion of it, and itgoes like this, Since seventeen percent of
people between the ages of seventy fiveand eighty four and thirty two percent of
(11:35):
people eighty five years of age andolder have Alzheimer's dementia, are you in
favor of a maximum age to bePresident of the United States? Yes?
Or no? Because, as manyof you know, people are calling into
question right now President Joe Biden's ageand the fact that he very likely he
(12:00):
has and I just talked about thisin the last segment, very likely has
Parkinson's disease. And he's had aneurologist visiting the White House who specializes in
that over the last year about eightor nine times. And I shared with
you comments from a couple of otherneurologists who have been viewing him over the
years with the slurring and the speechand the tripping and the gate problems,
(12:22):
and they're saying, Yep, hehas it, So we asked this question
to get your opinion. Should therebe a maximum age for a person to
be eligible to be president of theUnited States? Yes? Or no?
Now you can vote on that questionover on my personal website at doctor Bob
dot com doctor bob dot com andspell out the word doctor doct r Bob
(12:46):
dot com. Now. I amso excited, ladies and gentlemen, just
absolutely thrilled and honored to have aguest on the program. Who is my
hero in life, one of mygreat heroes. She just wrote a book
(13:07):
entitled The Well Lived Life, andI'll give you the subtitle in just a
moment here. Her name is doctorGladys McGary. She is an internationally recognized
mother of holistic medicine. I meanshe was talking about holistic medicine before anybody
even mentioned the words. Following acareer in family practice medicine for nearly eighty
(13:30):
years, she now has a lifeconsulting practice. She was the first medical
doctor to utilize acupuncture in the UnitedStates can you even imagine that? And
founded the Gladys Taylor McGary Foundation tobridge the gap between holistic and traditional medicine,
(13:50):
helping to expand the knowledge and applicationof holistic principles through scientific research and
education. Doctor McGarry also founded theAcademy of Parasychology in Medicine. She has
received numerous honors and awards, includingthe Humanities Award for Outstanding Service to Mankind,
(14:11):
the David Stackhouse Award for Pioneering Excellencein Homeopathy, the Lifetime Distinguished Service
Award at Muskingham College in Ohio, and was honored by the American Holistic Medical
Association as a pioneer of holistic medicine. Her most recent book, Get This
(14:33):
Now. Her most recent book isThe Well Lived Life at one hundred and
three years old. But I'm goingto say young, because she is young.
One hundred and three years young. This doctor has these six secrets to
health and happiness at any age she'sgoing to share with us, which became
(14:58):
a best seller this year. Shewrote the book last year, and of
course the subtitle of her book isa one hundred year old Doctor's six Secrets
to Health and Happiness at every age. And now she's one hundred and three
and we're so privileged and honored tohave her on the show. One of
(15:20):
my heroes, Doctor Gladys McGarry,Doctor McGarry, thank you so much for
joining us here on the program.Welcome and congratulations on your new book.
Thank you for inviting me. It'sall is a privilege. Is such an
amazing lady. Let's just jump rightinto this. One of your six secrets
(15:46):
to the well lived life in yourbook you talk about is to spend your
energy wildly. What does that meanto spend your energy wildly? Can you
explain that to our audience. Yes, don't try to save it, because
(16:06):
if you try to save it,you stop it from growing. And so
you in order to be able tomake the best of your energy, you
use it, and in using it, you spread it. You don't put
it in a box and put itin a bank. It does. It'll
(16:29):
die if you do if you tryto save it, but if you use
it, it continues to grow. And life and love have to work together
because they need each other to continueto be Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening
(16:49):
to the voice of doctor Gladys McGarry, who has two mds behind her name.
She is a conventionally trained medical doctorand she also has a medical degree
in homeopathy, so she has MDMDH. Now some people believe that they're
(17:11):
over the hill at age fifty. They're already. I hear people say this
all the time. Oh I'm old, now I'm fifty, I'm over the
hill folks. And some people themarker for them feeling old or talking themselves
into being old and elderly is aboutsixty five. Usually when somebody hits you
(17:33):
know, the age of what istypically retirement age sixty five. Oh many,
you know, in their minds, they start uttering those those words I'm
old, and they get old. We're talking here to a pioneer in holistic
medical care, doctor Gladys McGarry, who is thirty eight years past sixty five.
(17:56):
She's one hundred and three and bythe way, happy belated birthday,
because I know when you wrote thisbook you were one hundred and two years
young. Now you're one hundred andthree years young, which I mean,
people can't even imagine that. Infact, some of them will probably demand
to see your birth certificate because theywon't even they can't even relate to it
(18:17):
because they're already feeling like half deadand they're only like sixty two. Do
you find that to be the case, Gladys, where people just say are
you really a hundred and three yearsof age? Well, it's hard for
me to believe it, you know, because I don't know anybody else who
is. I mean, my friendsare all well, not gone, but
(18:41):
they're you know, they're not onthis dimension, so right. And I
have grandsons who when he got tobe five, he started crying at his
birthday party because he said he hadto leave his fours behind. Sad thing
for us to teach kid. Ohmy god, oh my gosh. All
(19:06):
right, ladies and gentle, we'reladies and John. We're talking about a
new book that ought to be partof your health library. If you want
to live long and be healthy andbe happy, you should have this book.

Eight hundred six zero six eighty eighttwenty two or my website doctor Bob
(22:25):
dot com spelling out the word doctordoctor Bob dot com. All right,
our special guest this hour is avery special lady. Her name is doctor
Gladys McGarry. She has two medicaldoctor degrees. She is the author of
six books. The latest book I'vegot in my hand right now. It
(22:48):
is entitled The Well Lived Life,A one hundred and three year old doctor
talking about six secrets to health andhappiness at any age. That's right,
I said, one hundred and threeyears of age. Our guest is one
hundred and three years of age, doctor Gladys mcairy. You've broken the record
(23:10):
here. I've had other centenarians onthe program. It's been a while,
but I don't think I've had anybodythat's a one hundred and three years of
age that can still walk, talk, chew gum and keep sentences together.
So congratulations on all of that, plus writing a book within the last year.
It's amazing. Well, you know, I had written the other six
(23:33):
books about medicine, about practicing ormedical field, but I couldn't quite get
the message across about what that wasall about. And this book is about
what the very essence of our lifeis about and what healingism and so it's
(23:57):
a different h reach to our wholeexistence. And you know, I'm legally
right now, I'm legally blind, but my eyesight is gone, but my
insight has gotten better. So let'snot give up, kids, Let's keep
(24:22):
going. Absolutely, that's what it'sall about. And the other question I
had you you were talking, wetalked about you know why it's important to
you know, spend all your energywildly living. You know, a life
wildly that you're recommending here can beinterpreted as like taking risks, which can
be frightening to some people. Theydon't want to do that. Has there
(24:42):
ever been a time when you feltfrightened or afraid? And how to deal
with those kinds of feelings of livingwildly? Well, you know, there
many times it's happened, but someI'm really hard when I've been married for
(25:04):
forty six years and my husband askedfor a divorce and it totally blindsided me
because we had done so much togetherand we had these six children and life
was so good, and I thoughteverything was fine. And then he asked
(25:25):
for a divorce. Well, Iwas completely knocked off of my base.
I just had no way to whereto go. I was coming home from
work and from my office and tomy empty home in Casa Grandie because the
(25:47):
only person there was my dog,and I was just I was in my
car and I was screaming and yellingat the world and telling the world what
I thought, how unfair it wasand what all was going on. I
was really really broken. I wasso broken. I was just terrible.
(26:11):
And finally I pulled over to theside of the road and I got out
of the car and I stood therewith the door open and looked into my
car, and I thought, doI want to live the rest of my
life like that? It's so ugly, it's mean, it's cruel. I
(26:33):
don't like it. And so Iwas standing there looking into the car where
I figured I'd been so vocal abouthow I was, how broken I was,
and all of a sudden, thevoice came down to me, this
(26:55):
is the day the Lord has made. Let us reach and be glad in
it. And there I was withmy name in front of me, and
I thought, oh, I,no, no, no, I can't
live like that. I'm going tochange. So I got back in the
(27:17):
car and I went home and Iexplained what I was going to do to
my dog. And then the nextmorning I went into town and changed my
license plate so that it read beglad, because I decided, all right,
(27:40):
every day now from here on,when I get into that car,
I'm going to have to see thatlicense plate, which tells me how I'm
going to continue so be glad. And not only will I have to do
it. But every when I'm intraffic, all the cars behind me will
(28:02):
see that, be glad. Soit's a message, important message that I
have to give to the world, and I need to do that. So
that's what I did. I changedmy way of thinking about where my life
was going to something that was differentfrom from such a terrible, terrible place
(28:33):
that I had pictured. M Well, God bless you for sharing that with
us, Doctor Gladys McGary. Ladiesand gentlemen, you're listening to the voice
of doctor Gladys McGarry, a medicaldoctor, a doctor of medical homeopathy.
The book she wrote is entitled TheWell Lived Life a one hundred and three
(28:55):
year old Doctor Her Six Secrets toHealth and Happiness at Any Age, which
by the way, became a bestseller just months ago. Now. You
can find out more about this onher website at Gladys McGary dot com,
Glattice McGary dot com. You canalso email something to them and they can
(29:18):
help you to join her Doctor Gladysbe glad Family subscribers and you'll receive her
Foundation for Living Medicine newsletter at Livingmdanineat gmail dot com. Livingmdanine at gmail
dot com. We'll be back withour special guest, doctor Gladys McGarry.
(29:40):
After this, stay tuned. You'retuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
So Orry m Bossom Number Simoncible, the one Never Single Days, A powerful
(30:26):
how apropos to wheel in that rejoinmusic that could be all about doctor Gladys
McGary MD's life, her new book, The Well Lived Life a one hundred
and three year old doctors six secretsto health and happiness at every single age.
We're talking with her right now. We're so glad to have her on
(30:48):
the program. I know a lotof people they think they're over the hill
at age sixty five. Well, she is thirty eight years past age sixty
five, at a tender age ofone hundred three years young, and here
she is wrote a book just lastyear. She can still talk. She
is doing so many things and hasdone so many things to help humanity.
(31:10):
And we're so privileged and honored tohave her on the show today. Doctor
Gladys McGary. Coming from a medicaldoctor, your secret obviously of love being
the most powerful form of medicine thatreally challenges your colleagues in conventional Western medicine,
allopathic medicine, their approach to healing. So tell us about the changes
(31:34):
that you have seen in the Westernmedicine approach to healing. Well, you
know, I went to medical schoolduring World War Two and everything was focused
towards killing and getting rid of Imean, that was that's where the future
(31:55):
led us at that time, andin medicine we pick that up and that's
what we're still working with. We'reidentifying diseases so that we can get rid
of them, and I don't thinkthat that's where we need to go.
We created the American Holistic Medical Associationbecause I thought there was a different and
(32:24):
a deeper message to what was beingdone. I felt like our job as
medical people was to help our patientsidentify and understand the disease and then work
with it and learn the lessons thatthat disease was trying to teach them.
(32:49):
So it was a matter of notgetting rid of the disease, but learning
what it was. That disease, like everything else that we experience in this
long is here to teach us.Well. Thank goodness for good well,
thank goodness for you doctor McGary. That myself and all my colleagues and so
(33:12):
many other people in the alternative functionalmedicine, alternative medicine, all these medicine
are standing on your shoulders with youpaving the weight for us. And it
sounds like you have the same philosophyas the father of medicine, Hippocrates that
said the greatest medicine of all isto teach people how not to need it,
which is really what you're saying. And I think that is so amazing.
(33:39):
Well, you know it really is, because if your whole focus is
in the dark aspect of getting ridand killing, life doesn't become very nice.
But if you can realize that you'rehere for a special reason. Each
(34:01):
one of us has a special placein this world just lifetime, and no
one else can fill that place. It's like a huge jigsaw puzzle and we're
one of the pieces. And youknow yourself, if you've made a thousand
(34:22):
piece jigsaw puzzle and you lose onepiece, you're the last piece. You
can't find it. You drive yourselfcrazy trying to find that. Lads,
well, where's that piece? Weare Each one is here for a purpose
and to fill a special place thatno one else can fill. Even twins
(34:45):
have their own space in this worldof ours. That's so true, and
I appreciate you defining, you know, your kind of definition of lung vity,
and that is that each and everyone of us need to find purpose
in our lives is so very important. And I know a lot of people
(35:06):
by now are probably saying, well, okay, doctor Bob, this is
all great, but I want toknow what doctor Gladys McGary eats, because
there's got to be some secret saucethat she's using to be able to reach
one hundred and three years of ageand she's still writing books. Well,
it's true, folks, and I'lljust give you a little bit here.
Correct me if I'm wrong. DoctorMcGary. You are a big consumer.
(35:29):
First thing in the morning, youhave prunes, and I look that up.
By the way, it says prunesdefinitely improve a person's longevity because of
all the high polyphenols and the vitaminsin there. And you also apparently have
and do this on a regular basis. You first thing in the morning have
a bowl of raisin brand. Isthat true? Yeah? You know everybody
(35:53):
can't eat the same thing. That'strue. That works for me, It
works for uh a couple of mykids, but I have uh still I
have the six kids that have grownup to be very important people in my
(36:16):
life and the life of the world. And they don't need the same things
I do. They what works forthem, that true works for you.
Yeah, it shows you are allof our individuality and how important that is.
Okay, doctor McGary, stand by, We're going to have one more
(36:36):
segment with you and we'll come backto our special guests, Doctor Gladys McGary.

All right, I just have acouple of quick questions left for us
here today, doctor McGary. Whatis your vision for the medical field in
order for it to be the bestsupport for our health and longevity. Well,
(38:37):
let me tell you what I toldmy oldest son. I mean,
he was just ready to start hismedical practice in Del Rio, Texas,
and he came through Phoenix. He'sjust got his training as an orthopedic surgeon,
and he said, Mom, I'mgoing into the world I'm gonna have
(39:00):
people's lives in my hands. Idon't know if I can handle that.
And I said to him, well, Carl, if you think you're the
one that does the healer healing, you have a right to be scared,
but you have to understand. Butsure, what you have learned as orthopedic
surgery is very very important to anybodywho's had something broken. We don't want
(39:25):
a butcher taking care of us.We want a good surgeon who knows what
he's doing to take care of us. However, when you've done your work
and continue to do your work,it's not you who's doing the healing.
It's the position within that patient whounderstands what you have said and what you're
(39:52):
doing because you're reaching to that patientposition within them with love. Yes,
love does the absolute healing. Thephysician that within that patient understands that takes
it, as does the healing theway you told them. How it so
(40:15):
