and whether or not you should get one and the
dangers and the effectiveness of them all laid out last Hour.
Hope you listen to it, and what to do to
(03:14):
protect yourself from the flu. It was all there. If
you missed it, it'll be in the podcast library as
of this coming Wednesday at doctor Bob dot com. We
also had a special guest last Hour, Jane Janssen, nature
pathic practitioner're talking about how important your microbiome is the
gastro intestinal and gut health, and how if you keep
it healthy, how it will protect you from everything from
(03:37):
the big sea to the little sea, cancer to the
common cold and everything in between. You should hear that
one as well if you missed it all Right, now,
we're gonna talk about a topic here that's a little
bit ew, a little bit ah, that's so nasty, well,
but it's important to because it happens as many as
(03:59):
ninety one percent of the entire US population. Ladies I'm
joan picks their noses. Did you know that ninety one
percent people reach up there with their hand and pick
their noses from time to time. Many people do not
do it because they want to remove something that they feel.
(04:19):
There some dry mucus nasal mucus, namely boogers that can
build up or irritate the nose. If you have allergies
that clog your nasal passages, there's even more temptation to
pick your nose. Picking your nose is obviously unsightly. Nobody
(04:39):
wants to see it. And our mothers say, don't pick
your nose, don't put your fingers in your nose. Oh man,
in mind rail on me when I was young, try
to keep my fingers out of my nose. But she
couldn't do it. I kept going because there was problems
that nobody was helping me to fix. But did you know,
and this is the kicker here, the smoking gun of nosepickers.
(05:02):
It may increase your risk of Alzheimer's disease. Oh my gosh,
Alzheimer's disease. So if you are a nosepicker, you may
need to live real close to a real hospital that
deals with Alzheimer's disease, or if you were a nosepicker
(05:23):
on a regular basis, you need to make sure your
health insurance covers Alzheimer's disease because it puts you at
a greater risk. It's true, picking your nose is kind
of like nasty looking, especially when somebody's watching it. Scientists
have called for more research into the link between the
(05:45):
bad habit of one picking one's nose and Alzheimer's disease,
but the research has been done. The research that has
been done indicates a nose picking is a significant risk factor.
The theory is that germs are transferred from your filthy,
(06:07):
dirty fingers. That's what my mom used to say, your filthy,
dirty fingers. Why would you put them in your nose? Son? Well,
they're transferred from your fingers to your nose, where they
traveled from the nasal cavity into the brain and create inflammation.
There's the smoking gun from your finger to your brain
and everything in between. Over time, this inflammation damages brain cells,
(06:31):
leading to the symptoms associated with dementia. Can you imagine
that you put your finger in your nose and you
can't remember who you are, where you are. Why you
walked into a room. If you drive a car in
what city you're living in, you have full blown Alzheimer's disease.
Nose picking may also damage the lining of the nasal wall,
(06:54):
making it easier for microorganism standard the bloodstream and trigger
and infection and cause inflammation. This is how eight to
nine out of ten colds and flus and covid infections begin.
They begin in the nasal cavity, either through inhaling them
through the air. Because we know that masks do not
(07:15):
stop aerosolized viruses rolling through the air. And people who
are still putting those silly nosedapers on because they are
suffering from anxiety and fear from germs. They are now
microbially infected with a phobia, and they still wear the masks,
(07:39):
and God bless them. I'm not going to tell them
about the Cochrane study, the most foremost authority in science
medical science, Cochrane study that says masks flat out don't work.
Somebody is putting fear of God into those poor people
that are wearing in the nose diapers every time I
(08:02):
see them where I'm out and about whether it's in
an airport or a store, I just bless them and
hope that someday they can extricate themselves from all that
fear and unnecessarily suffocating in that wet, nasty mass they're wearing.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
Well.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
The calls for more research, I digressed. The calls for
more researcher research in this area were made in a
letter published in the American Journal of Medical Sciences were
now back on the subject of Alzheimer's disease and picking
your nose. They cited ten studies showing a potential association,
including one back by the National Institutes of Health NIH
(08:41):
from last year, which also warned people about the link
between picking one's nose and developing Alzheimer's down the road.
Writing in a letter, they said, and I quote, several
pathogens including nose, including those that invade the brain via
the nasal epithelium, they have been linked to Alzheimer's disease
and have been isolated during post mortem analysis. They go
(09:05):
on to say, in conclusion, these studies show that nose
picking booger picking is a significant risk factor and has
a part in the progression of Alzheimer's disease. Of course,
the drug companies don't want you to know this. They
don't want you to know. It might be as simple
as not picking your nose and not getting Alzheimer's. They
want to sell you a drug once it happens, right,
(09:26):
big Bucks, big bank, chit chain. So why aren't they
teaching this stuff. There's no money, folks in prevention. That's
why this show exists. Pathogens germs thought to cause the
amyloid plaques, including herpes virus, coronavirus, the bacteria behind pneumonia,
(09:47):
and the fungus Canada albacants. All of these pathogens can
end up in the brain via your picking of your nose.
These can travel along the olfactory nerve linking to the
nose and the brain to the olfactory bulb, a small
area the bottom of the brain link to smell and
cause add infection. They have called for a simple intervention
(10:08):
measures like regular hand washing. That's a good idea to
reduce the risk posed by nose pickers. Just because some
of them just can't keep those little bitty fingers out
of those nasal cavities. They just can't do it. They
can't resist it because of that behavior has been so
locked in. It's almost like in their DNA baked into
(10:31):
the cake. They've been picking their nose from day one.
They won't stop picking almost OHCD, but they should, but
at least washing their hands will at least reduce some
of the microbia load on their fingers. And then when
they do go into the nose with those little fingers,
they won't impart the germs all right. You can also
use clear nasal spray to clear this stuff out. Clear
(10:53):
Rescue nasal spray one of my favorites. You're tuned into
the Doctor Bob Martin Show, working Baker makes.
Speaker 5 (11:05):
That that will kill me.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Make I need you, man, because I can't wait much
longa I know I get to bet and a healthy
welcome or welcome back to this hour of the Doctor
Bob Martin's Show. Thank you so very much for tuning
into the program today. And if there's something that you
(11:28):
believe within this show that could potentially benefit those people
in your life that you care about, maybe your family members,
or your friends, or co workers, or your neighbors, the
best way to invite them into this show, to find
this radio show on their radio is to jot down
the call letters of the radio station you're listening to
(11:50):
right now. Listen to the breaks a lot of times,
the stations will give station I D where you learn
about their call letter. You'll learn whether they're an amor
FM station, and then the frequency on the dial and
the time of the day that this show is rolling.
And that way you can refer your family members of
(12:12):
those lovel ones to people you care about so they
can tune into the program and gain all this important
health related information they otherwise may not have, and that
would be good. It's the Doctor Bob Martin Show. And
then the extension of this show, of course, is my
personal website. You have access to that site free and
(12:33):
unfettered twenty four to seven. Over there at doctor Bob
dot com. You got to spell out the doctor word.
Though doctor Bob dot com, you'll find the social media
platforms where I provide content at Instagram and x and
LinkedIn all of there. Oh, by the way, did you
(12:55):
notice Mark Zuckerberg recently admitted that during the height and
in the beginning of the COVID pandemic that he was
pressured into blocking any counter information on Facebook about COVID.
He finally we knew this was the case. I knew
(13:18):
it was the case because we were all over this
from the very beginning of warning people about how these
experimental gene therapy shots they call them COVID vaccines. They
are not vaccines. They are something else altogether. But they
were able to call them vaccines so that it would
(13:40):
fake you out, trick you, deceive you into getting one
as though it was safe and effective, which it is not.
He finally admitted in the marketplace that they purposely blocked
people from alerting others to the fact that there may
be danger associated with this mRNA platform in delivering the
(14:05):
spike proteins. I was very vocal about that on the
radio and also even more vocal on Facebook. At one
time I had a huge following on Facebook. Thousands and
thousands of people were getting the right advice at the
right time. Starting in early twenty twenty, I put so
much time and energy into that because I felt compelled
(14:27):
to inform people what they may be at risk for
if they allow this to happen. And as a result
of that on Facebook, I noticed that thousands of people
were not getting my Facebook posts. They were shadow blocking
the information that I was trying to get out that
I knew full well was accurate, correct, and the truth,
(14:51):
and just people weren't getting it. And then suddenly after
a period of time, over time, Zuckerman and all his
little henchmen over their minions, they basically took my website
down on Facebook. He just like said, oh, well it's gone.
We think somebody may have hacked it. Well get it back.
(15:12):
You got an ip addris, find out who hacked and
get it back. And there it was crickets, lights out,
nobody home. Why because the pharmaceutical companies were sending big
checks over to Zuckerberg and all his men over there
at Facebook, and as a result of that, they were
protecting their advertisers by anybody who dissented against COVID shots
(15:38):
trying to give you the truth that they won or
were not properly tested and not safe, not safe, And
we have talked about that from the very very beginning. Well,
I will never go on Facebook. Maybe if somebody knocks
me out and drags me there, I might end up there,
(15:58):
but I have no desire to go there because of
the lack of ethics in that web portal. And that's
why we stay with Instagram X and LinkedIn and not Facebook.
I have people asking me all the time, why aren't
you on Facebook? Well, now you know that's the reason.
(16:20):
All right, let's get to work. Let's get back to

make it more susceptible to viruses. I recommend taking black
elderberry extract about a tablespoon of that. You can get
(20:05):
it at all health food stores. Black elderberry extract tablespoon
three times a day. And then topically you can use
something called arnica capsicum cream. Arnica capsicum cream to help

this You may have heard the phrase superfruits, as in
fruits that are better than regular fruits, because when you
ingest superfruits, which they're doing a lot of scientific studies
on today, they can benefit the human body so much.
(22:55):
Have you heard of this superfruit called ernia berry? Have
you heard of it? Well, you should know more about it.
You should also know more about ronia berry complex by
arry naturally vitamins. Aronia berries are considered the king of
superfruits and are rich in important nutrients and antioxidants. Aronia
(23:18):
berries contain phenolic compounds which naturally help plants resist disease
and premature death. Yeah, the plants throughout time immemorial have
figured out ways to evolve, so they have elements chemistries
within them to protect themselves from the insects and the
(23:39):
vermin so that when they come near them or try
to taste them, they don't like it and they get
away from them and don't eat them. Well, when we
eat the superfruits ronia berries, we get the benefits of
what are in there. When ronia berries are ingested by humans,
they have been shown to provide anti inflammatory properties and
(24:00):
may help to prevent or treat a variety of conditions,
including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, kidney disease, liver disease, and
metabolic disorders. In fact, it's worthy to note that scientific
studies have proven and subsequently published in peer reviewed scientific
journals that aronia berries, that super fruit I'm talking about here,
(24:24):
have many health giving compounds that were found to show
potential anti flu effects anti influenza activity. Now, you can
eat a bowl of organic ronia berries each day if
you can find them, or you can choose a more
(24:45):
convenient and cost effective way to benefit and consume ronia
berries by taking a nutritional supplement called Ernia Very Complex.
Jut that down Ernia Very Complex by a company by
the name of Terry Natural Vitamins. It contains Aronia berry
Extract AB forty, which delivers a concentrated and consistent source
(25:07):
of this amazing superfruit. Additionally, Aroniaberry Complex includes French grape
seed Extract VX one grape seed extract, an incredibly effective
botanical for strong heart, muscle function, arterial protection, healthy blood
pressure levels, and cholesterol balance. Look for a Ronia berry

complex at Finer health food stores nationwide, or go to
Terry Naturally Vitamins dot com Terry Naturally Vitamins dot Com,
or call their toll free number four Information at eight
sixty six five nine eight five four eight seven for
Aroniaberry Complex Terry Naturally Vitamins. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
(25:49):
let's get back to work with your telephone calls and questions.
Our number to get into the show, to ask your
question or to make your health comment. Eight hundred six
zero six eight eight two two one. Eight hundred six
zero six eight eight two two is our caller hotline,
and next up is Janey from Let's See Bien Oklahoma.
Speaker 5 (26:15):
My name is Janey, and I'm calling from by Anne, Oklahoma,
and I love your show. I have a what I
think is a in. What the chiropractor told me was
a duplicates contractor on my right hand. Just it's just starting,
(26:37):
but I know my father had it and he had
crippling of his fingers with this thing. I'm wondering what
else I can do besides I'm doing some acupuncture and
another chiropractors prescribed like collagens. Are there any other things
I can do for this? I appreciate your program very much.
(27:01):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
Well, thank you Jenny for your phone call into the program. Yes,
I've treated many, many cases of Dupertin's contracture, which ladies
and gentlemen. It's something that happens in the soft tissue
part of the hand, the ligament structure there tenants. They
tend to contract where your finger moves forward, forced forward
(27:25):
toward your palm of your hand, and that's a scarring tissue.
It's very tough condition. It's not easy, but there are
ways to help reduce the risk going forward and maybe
help it some of it come back. Janey, I recommend
what is called soft wave or shock wave therapy. It's
(27:45):
the same technology that's used to break up kidney stones
with a treatment called lithotripsy. When they have the big
stones that are in the kidneys or in the urinary track,
they try to make them into tiny little pieces of
sand and gravel so they can come out of there,
so they bombard them with sound waves lithotripsy. This is
(28:07):
is pretty much the same technology with modification, except you're
bombarding the build up of this scar tissue with the
hope that you can break it up and enough new
cells and stem cells can get in there and repair
the area correctly in that finger can set back into
its proper place again and not have that contracture. So
(28:29):
your chiropractic physician should know about this or know somebody
who can offer that in their office, because a lot
of chiropractical physicians use this in treatment of their patients
for a variety of conditions, including dupidense contracture. It's called
soft wave therapy some people not as shock wave therapy.
(28:50):
I like the fact that you're using acupuncture that helps.
I like the fact that you know about nutrients that
have antioxidant at activity associated with them, including turmeric. There's
also a systemic enzymes that you can use on something
(29:10):
like this using a combination of natokinase, serro peptase, broma
lane and other enzymes and other anti inflammatories that you
can use systemically to go in there to try to
as this is being broken up with the softwave or
the shockwave therapy, digest those elements and allow or encourage
(29:35):
new tissue to lay down new soft tissue where the
tissue was disrupted and cross linked in that area which
is disruptive to the normal flow of that function, and
you'll do better. So there you have it, Jenny, thank
you for your phone call. Good health to you, ladies
and gentlemen. Stay tuned, We're coming right back. You're tuned
into the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
Speaker 8 (30:00):
I'm a buzz of number. Simon Pencible have one single
(30:23):
minds up? I don't.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Today it's all about health, your health. It's the Doctor
Bob Martin Show. I'm doctor Bob here uh fielding your
phone calls and your health related questions, even taking health
related comments here on this radio show. And the way
that you access this radio show with your question your
(30:55):
comment is to dial our caller hotline phone number which
happened to be Please jot this down for safekeeping, pass
it to your sick loved ones and friends. Eight hundred
six zero six eight eight two two eight hundred six
zero six eighty two to one eight hundred six zero
(31:16):
six eighty eight twenty two. And of course, the extension
of the radio show is my website at doctor Bob
dot com, Doctor bob dot com, spell out doctor. There
you'll find all kinds of news from around the globe
that I pick out. You'll find it all interesting. The
social media platforms you can get me on and here,

Plus the news great stuff. We're in the middle of
a marathon, a healing marathon. We're answering questions of our listeners,
and we hope you can dial into our number, our
hotline number, and access that information and get on the
(32:01):
show to ask your question as well. I also want
to let you know that coming up next hour, I'm
going to be talking about how if you travel more often,
you will age less. I kid you not. Did you
know that travel may help you defend against premature aging.
It's true if you're looking in the mirror every once
(32:22):
in a while and you're going, oh my gosh, I
feel like I'm aging so fast. These days, well over
sixty percent of Americans travel domestically one or two times
per year, and this year, thirty percent of Americans plan
to travel internationally, with beaches being one of the most
(32:43):
popular destinations. Those Americans who have been spending money on
all those goopies, creams and lotions, high end lotions with
retinol in them, and other anti aging creams to help
defy premature aging may have spent their efforts better if
(33:04):
they had been traveling. At least that's what is according
to the latest scientific information from Edith Cowen University, reporting
that people who travel more age less. And I'll get
into the details of that next hour. So don't go anywhere,
all right, Let's get right back to work the telephone
calls and questions. Next up, we say hello to Marcy
(33:28):
in Elgin, Illinois.
Speaker 9 (33:30):
Good afternoon, doctor Bob. I am calling from Elgin, Illinois.
My name is Marcy, and we'll give you praise on
your radio program. Thank you so much. The question is
this for excessive mucus. Mucus that almost cannot be controlled
nasal mucus. Mucus in the mouth swallowing a great deal
(33:58):
of this and and actually when if you bend over,
it just actually dripping out of the mouth. If you
can discuss the mucus issue, Mucus is good, but the
question is this has to be controlled. So if you
(34:19):
would please address the sun your radio program, it would
be wonderful. Thank you very much, God bless you for
what you're doing. And what is my name is, once
again Marcy from Elgin, Illinois.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
Okay, thank you so much, Marcy, very sweet lady there,
ladies and gentlemen, appreciate you calling into the program from Elgin, Illinois. Yes,
you hit the nail on the head, Marcy. Mucus in
the human body is good. No, it's not good. It's
great because without it we die. Mucus the body makes
mucus from our epithelial cells in an effort to suffer
(35:00):
something that is harming us or potentially could harm us,
or is irritating us or creating inflammation within our nasal cavity,
our throat, or our eyes. That's what mucus does. Mucus
suffocates things that it doesn't like and it could harm
(35:22):
the body. But why does it keep happening. It should
just suffocate it and be done with it and wash
it out of the body. And your mucus stops like
turning off the figot on the faucet, but your faucet
keeps running, and that means that you're not resolving the infection.
That infection is probably systemic. It's probably deep in your
(35:47):
sinuses or your throat area, or your upper respiratory system somewhere.
It's not being resolved. And I don't care how much
mucinex anybody takes. That stuff is bad news in my opinion.
If you look at the side effects, not good. And
it's not that effective anyway, and it doesn't ever get
to the cause of the problem, which is a downtrodden
(36:09):
immune system. In order to help the immune system overcome this,
you got to get it running on all eight cylinders
if you will. And I don't know what to tell you.
I'd have to look at your blood test, I'd have
to look at your digestive tests. These are things that
can help us to understand where the breakdown is and
then recommend certain things to repair it. In the meantime,
I would suggest that you start using a nasal spray
(36:32):
because usually this is in the nasal cavity, and I
recommend something called Clear x L ear Rescue nasal spray.
There's different kinds of clear nasal sprays, but you want
the one that's got all the important biocytal agents in
it to try to kill that which may be burrowed
into your nasal cavity your sinus. Clear Rescue Nasal Spray

With your dry eyes, I suggest maybe more blinking, more water,
less caffeine and alcohol which dehydrates the body. Eat more
fresh fish if you can. That's great source of omega

if you really want to knock the dry eye syndrome out,
take something called lactoferrin. It's a supplement you can get
in health food stores. Lactoferrin or a ronia berry complex.
