you're welcome for that. I think it's great that they're

(03:13):
doing that, and we're happy to tell you about it.
Now we're going to get to your phone calls, your
open line conversation, phone calls on the topic of health.
So don't go anywhere, but I wanted to start out
this hour talking for health Steak. Four important reasons to
eat a common and inexpensive and.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Readily available fruit.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Most Americans don't get enough fruit or they're eating the
wrong kind of fruit, but you should be eating more apples.
They are excellent in delivery of all kinds of nutrients
that your body needs and at wants. Just one medium
sized apple has more than four grams of fiber in it.
That's about eighteen percent of women's and twelve percent of

(03:59):
men's day needs. Yet despite being an essential nutrient, these
nutrients and apples, the average American meats only fifty eight
percent of the daily recommended fiber intake.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
And I think that's exaggerated.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I don't think Americans get that much, but researchers are
saying that we're getting about fifty eight percent of the
fiber that we actually need, so we're big time deficient
in it. Fiber not only helps you feel fuller longer,
so you don't have the munchies, and you keep eating,
and then you keep gaining weight and you become obese,
and you have all these diseases including cancer and diabetes

(04:36):
and heart disease and strokes. It's also linked fiber is
to multiple health benefits, improving your digestion, improving your blood
sugar regulation, and enhancing your overall heart health. While apples
contain both insoluble and soluble fiber, they're known for pectin

(05:00):
that is an amazing nutrient. Pectin a soluble fiber that
forms a gel like substance in the digestive track. This
substance binds to cholesterol and sugars that are there, helping
to manage their levels in your bloodstream. Pectin in apples
also acts as a prebiotic, feeding beneficial bacteria in your

(05:22):
gut and supporting overall digestive health and gut health. So
to reap the full fiber benefits of apples, be sure
to eat the skin as well. Peeling it can reduce
the fiber content by a wopping fifty percent. But if

(05:43):
you're not willing to do that, I understand you can't
get a hold of organic fruit. As in apples, you
always want to get organic apples because the non organic
apples have been sprayed with pesticide. Who on Earth would
want to eat pesticides? And by the way, you can't

(06:03):
wash that off. They spray them early and often, and
that pesticide, many of them, different kinds of it, can
be incorporated as part of the apple. So always search
for organic one hundred percent USDA certified organic apples if
and where possible. They're packfull of disease fighting antioxidants. Apples

(06:23):
are too. Apples are rich in antioxidants, particularly something called quercetin.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
I talk about it here on the show all the time.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
It's a type of flavonoid that helps fight inflammation and
protects yourselves from damage caused by free radicals. These protected
properties have been linked to a lower risk of heart disease,
Alzheimer's disease, and even asthma. Quercetin is also largely studied
for its potential anti cancer properties, with research suggesting it
may prevent the spread of certain cancers, including lung cancer.

(06:52):
Prostate cancer, breast, cervical and colon cancers. So eat your apples,
but make sure you're getting as many apples as you
can in an organic source.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
And whatever you do.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Even apples, even apples even help with diabetes, help fight
against diabetes. They do because they're low in the glycemic
index scale.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
And one thing you don't want to do.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
You do not want to take in an apple that
has that appeal sticker on it. Just make sure when
you get an apple they're trying to fool you with
these new appeal ap e E l ap e E L.
If that sticker's on there, kick it to the curb.

(07:44):
That's not the one you want. There's some residual artificial
transfats that are in this appeal sticker apparently, that meaning
that these apples have been coated with something, and trans
fats are nothing you want because they're linked to heart disease.

(08:05):
Yet manufacturers are claiming it's derived from plants. A peel
is made from purified mono and disaccharide byproducts that comes
from processing hydrogenated canola oil and soybean oils. These omega
six inflammatory oils you want to stay completely away from.
So that is key staying away from that. I would

(08:29):
go with the organic ones whenever and wherever possible. All right,
let's go back to your phone calls. Next up is
william and Sparks, Nevada.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Yeah, William at Sparks, Nevada. As I can know, is
a coffee really a vassal dilator or a constrictor? I've
heard both ways, And also he is I'm sure where
there's a the hydrator know where it closes dehnitration caffeine.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
So thank you, all right, Williams, William and Sparks, Nevada,
thank you for your calling. Well, it just so happens
that caffeine is both. It can be a vaso constrictor
with its effect on the head in our head head
and blood vessel in neck area, but it can also
be a vasodilator as well. You may have known this,

(09:29):
and I've had this emergency occur, somebody having a severe
asthma attack and they had no means by which and
they were a long ways away from a hospital, and
we're able to take in caffeine in the form of
black coffee that somebody just happened to have, and it
at least gave them enough caffeine to vaso dilate their

(09:51):
lungs temporarily and it probably saved their life. So caffeine
is both a vaso constrictor it comes to the head,
and that's why some doctors will use caffeine on migraine headaches.
Migraine headache is a vasodilation, too much blood supply maybe
in one region of the head, and using caffeine will

(10:15):
constrict that in the head neck area where it's vasodilatory,
in the lungs and the rest of the body muscles too,
And that's why a lot of weightlifters will go in
before exercising, they'll load up with caffeine. They'll take one
of these energy drinks. So it's both. I don't personally

(10:36):
use caffeine because I don't think it's good for me.
That's your choice, though, other than that, which I may
get in some green tea once in a while which
has the theenene which tamps it down. Anyway, all right, William,
thank you for your phone call.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
We'll be right back. Stay tuned. I'm doctor Bob Martin. Welcome,
we k even now we do.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
Welcome.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
You're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show. Thank you
for that.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
If you are not aware of it yet, we have
a health poll question going on on my website at
doctor Bob dot com d O C t O R
bob dot com. There you will find a health poll
question based on some research going on in the Netherlands
that actually happened already, wherein they were trying to figure
out which political party or political persuasion had more compassion

(11:47):
were more compassionate conservative or liberal? Right wing or left wing?
They figured it out. I want to get your opinion,
which do you think and then we'll tell tell you
the results of that once we gather our polling data.
So which political persuasion do you believe is more compassionate?
Conservative or liberal? Vote on that at doctor Bob dot

(12:09):
com DOCTO r bob dot com. Now shortly here, I'm
going to get to the health alternative of the week
and then back to your phone calls and your health
related questions and comments. But I want to let you
also know that Jakunaga of America, the fine makers of
a wide variety of coyolic garlic supplements, are offering Doctor

(12:31):
Bob Martin show listeners free that's right, free nutritional supplements
samples and valuable coupons. So if you'd like to receive
free Chyolic supplements for either cardiovascular health, immune support, or

(12:51):
stress and fatigue relief, those are three separate forms of
supplements that they offer, just simply go to their website
at Chiolic k y O l i C dot com,
Forward slash Radio Kyolic ky O l i C dot com,
Forward slash Radio to request your free nutritional supplements and

(13:15):
your valuable coupons without any obligation whatsoever. And thank you
Wakanaga for that offer. All right, ladies and gentlemen, it
is now time for this week's installment of the Health
Alternative of the Week. All right, the health alternative is

(13:46):
all about building immune competence. It's an alternative to not
building immune competence. Because if you're if you continue to
get sick with colds and flus and sinus problems and
kneazing and coughing and wheezing and all these immune problems,
it's time for you to consider an alternative, i e.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Building immune competence.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
If you seem like you're getting sick all the time,
that means your immune system, if you have competence, will
respond quickly and efficiently. Researchers know that people who have
good immune competence stay healthier and live longer. A healthy
diet is very important to immune competence. Avoiding processed foods,

(14:34):
highly altered processed foods with lots of sugar in them,
and inflammatory oils and refined carbohydrates and artificial coloring agents
and flavors and preservatives.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Those are the.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Ones that'll douse a good functioning immune system. These ultraprocessed
foods can lead to immune dysfunction via increased oxidative stress,
which means sort of like rusting inside the body because
you're having to deal with all the toxicity, flammation, and
what is called intestinal dysbiosis, which means dysfunction abnormal intestinal function.

(15:08):
The health alternative of the week is building your immune
competence with whole foods. A whole food diet of organic
fresh fruits and vegetables, regeneratively raised organic meats, pasture raised dairy,
and organic whole grains, nuts, seeds, lagomes found at finer

(15:31):
health food stores and health grocery stores nationwide like natural
grocer's stores. These foods are rich in antioxidants, fiber, vitamins, minerals,
and healthy fats to nourish and build immune competence, helping
your body to respond quickly and effectively and jumping into
action when needed. Also eating a variety of fermented foods

(15:55):
to support a healthy gut because seventy to eighty percent
of immune cells reside in the gut.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
No surprise there, right well.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Stanford Universities Stanford School of Medicine found that fermented foods
like yogurt, cottage, cheese, kimchi, and other fermented vegetables, even kombucha,
reduced inflammation and improved immune responses, and even stronger effects
were seen with bigger servings.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
This doesn't mean.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
That you won't get sick at all ever, but a
healthy competent immune system is better able to handle an
infection or an invading virus or bacteria or something reducing
your symptoms severity and duration. So find a way to
build immune competence by changing it up with your diet

(16:51):
and to get those natural elements into your body. Find
a good store good grocery store to find those organic
goodies like Natural Grocery, and if you can't find one,
go to their website. Learn more about it at naturalgrocers
dot com Naturalgrocers dot Com. All right, let's go right
back to your telephone calls and questions. By the way,

(17:11):
ladies and gentlemen, when you hear people getting on the
air with their health question, know that it's it's really simple.
You simply dial our toll free number at eight hundred
six zero six eight eight two to two, and you
simply state your first name, only the city and state
you're calling in from your question or your comment. It's

(17:31):
that simple. Let's go back to the phones. Next up
is let's see who is that? Uh oh, yeah, Sunday.
I thought I was looking at the day of a
week and it's a person's name, A beautiful day Sunday,
Go right ahead.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Oh no, doctor Martin, I was coming to see if
if you know of anything that can be done. And
it's someone my husband was, Dad knows. I guess nerve
damage to his eye and much you just have to
deal with the loss of vision and also getting pressure

(18:08):
checks and medication drops. Furgot of his life. I know
that I see you. I think it's called that you
advertise on your program, is something that you just your
opinion from experience things that could possibly help him. I'm
not sure but my name is Sunday and it's Dallas, Texas,

(18:29):
and I've called and left a couple of messages, but
I can't. I don't always have to listen to this show,
but I thank God I need to find it this year,
a couple of months ago, so hopefully I will be
able to listen. I'm listening right now, so hopefully you
have an answer, of course, But thank.

Speaker 6 (18:45):
You, and I do.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
I really enjoy your show. Thank you, and God bless us.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Goodbye, all right, God bless you. Thank you for your
phone call, Sunday. Yes, there are things you can do
to help the I recover. You were on to one
of them that can see eye drops. That's a definite
must for this particular case. Can see eye drops really important.
And you can get a hold of those over at
wischoice Medicine dot com Wyschoice Medicine dot com, or you

(19:12):
can call them at eight hundred eight six one four
nine three six Sunday eight hundred eight six one four
nine three six. Meanwhile, at the health food store, what
I would do for your husband is start giving him
supplemental uh saffron extract.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
It comes in herbal capsules.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Saffron is showing some amazing benefit of in eye problems
like macular degeneration and retinal problems.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
Saffron extract.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
He needs to be taking alpha loopoic acid methylated be
complex and then a full regiment of antioxidants that are
all in one formula Vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D
three E zinc, ludian xiaxanthon, bill berry, and the all
in important ben photiamin, which is a fat soluble form

(20:05):
of vitamin B one.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
That is key.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
It's not gonna happen overnight because once you have nerve damage,
especially in the eye, it takes time for that to heal.
So with the combination of using the can s eye
drops and the saffron extract, the alphalopoic acid, the antioxidants

(20:32):
that I mentioned, benfotime, and bill berry, all of them
are good and they're found in health food stores nationwide,
so they're readily available. The canc eyedrops you'll have to
order straight away. They're not available in health food stores.
All right, Sunday, I thank you for phone call on
his behalf. We're gonna come back with the health outrage
of the week. I'm doctor Bob Martin. Everybody's got fay mistakes,

(21:03):
but everybody's got a choice to make.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Everybody needs to leave the faith. When are you taking your.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
Money?

Speaker 6 (21:13):
You info you're too into the Doctor Bob marts and
show it if you like what you're hearing, don't keep
it such a big secret.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
There are sick people waiting to get wealth through you. Vicariously,
you simply jot down the call liners of the radio
station you're listening to the frequency on the dial, whether
it's an a MRFM station, time of day, Pass that
on to as many people as you can, especially those
people you care about, or put it over your social
media platform announcing that people can listen to the Doctor

(21:50):
Bob Martins show on the station you're listening to, and
we appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
All right, Before we get to the health outrage.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Of the week, I want to remind you that your
oral cavity, your oral cavity, your mouth is a gateway
to health or illness. You got to take care of
your mouth because those teeth are implanted in your jaw
and in your mandible and your bones. Those teeth go

(22:22):
up inside there. You got your gums there, You got
a blood supply there. If any germs or other microbes
get up in there and start festering. They can make
their way to other parts of your body and undermine
your health. And I'm a stickler about teeth taking care
of my oral cavity because at one time I did
not appreciate any of that because my parents had full

(22:43):
dentures and they thought, well, I guess everybody has dentures,
let's just let them rot. I'm serious, they didn't. They
didn't know anything about this how important it is. So
I you know, I think it's great, and you should
see your dental hygienist and your dentist for regular checkups.
But you should be taking better care of yourself and
being your own best dentist most of the time.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
How do you do that.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
You make sure that you're using the dental defense system
called Spry Spry Spry toothpaste, Spry mouth rints, and Spry
gum and mints. That's what you do in order to
reduce your risk. All these big box toothpastes and mouthwashes

(23:25):
destroy the oral microbiome. They have all kinds of chemicals
that vade into your body that you don't need or want.
Whereas the spry dental Defense System, the one I use,
the when all my colleagues and family members use. Is
where it's at. If you want to have a clean
bill of health over at your dental practice now. Spry

(23:47):
comes in delicious flavors peppermint, cinnamon, and spearmint, and it works.
It's plant based and your gums, your teeth, your mouth
are gonna love it. And when you're in your hygienis,
notice there's less cavity activity, there's less plaque activity, and
there is less bad news to give to you.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
About uttering the words.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
You'll need a filling, You'll need a root canal, you
need something a crown.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
You're going to be happy about this.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
The Spry Dental Defense System creates an easy and inexpensive
way to make sure that you're getting the good oral
care you need. Spray Dental Defense is available at CBS,
right aid Pharmacies, Target vitamin shops, sprouts and you can
find more information about Spry over on their website at

(24:43):
Clear x l e a r dot com x L
e a r dot com. For more information about the
Spry Dental Defense System. You can also find out more
about their Clear nasal sprays over there. Well all right,
it is time now, ladies and gentlemen, for this week's

(25:04):
installment of the health Outrage of the Week.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
She's j.

Speaker 7 (25:13):
Come on each time for the health Outradge because it's
nothing bullet.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
It is outrageous. You may have read about this, but
it's important to bring up. It's buyer beware, it's cave
at emptor removing wrong organs and leaving scalpels inside patients bodies.
How deadly medical blunders are rising getting worse in America.

(25:41):
How outrageous is that doctors removed the wrong body part
or left medical equipment inside bodies of hundreds and hundreds
of patients last year.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
That's what the data is showing.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
A story about a seventy year old man in Alabama
who died when surgeons removed his liver instead of his
spleen shocked the nation.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Earlier this month.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
That's so weird because the spleen is on the opposite
side of the body as the liver. How would a
doctor be operating on the wrong side of the body
and taking out the liver instead of the spleen.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (26:21):
Now a report into these so called never events that
happen so often, accidents so egregious they should never happen.
Has laid bare how these cases have been on the
rise since twoenty nineteen. Overall, over one thousand, four hundred
Americans patients dealt with the outcomes of one of these

(26:42):
mistakes in twenty twenty three, roughly the equivalent of three
people per day. These types of medical errors are known
as never events because it should never have happened. Unfortunately,
they happen all too often. The most common mistakes include
hospital falls, when when someone was walking, lying in bed,

(27:06):
or using the restroom without being observed. Incorrect surgeries performed,
including surgeries which, as I just mentioned, were on the
wrong side, or the wrong implant was placed, the wrong
patient was operated on, the wrong procedure was performed, or
the wrong body part removed, and objects such as scalpels, sponges,

(27:30):
guide wires, scissors, and gauze, et cetera were left in
patient's bodies after surgeries were performed. Eighteen percent of all
of these events resulted in death. Fifty seven percent of
patients suffered from severe harm. This is health outrageous. These
included surgeries which the wrong implant was placed, the wrong

(27:56):
patient was operated on, the wrong procedure was performed or
the wrong body part was operated on. This adverse events
report comes from the Joint Commission, a US based private,
non for profit organization that reports on hospital and healthcare
data across the world. It has been releasing data on

(28:19):
these events since at least twenty thirteen. I don't know
where to start on this. You would think that these
never events should never happen, But as the bumper sticker says,
blank happens. Right.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
So that's the health outrage of the week.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Let's get right back to phone calls and your questions
on the topic of health in just a little bit.
I want to also remind you that coming up, we're
going to have for you the top ten rat infested
US cities. Now, I know that sounds a little creep,
being a little weird and a little yucky, but I

(29:04):
think it's important to know which cities are rat infested
because rats come to the surface looking for food, they do,
and they can get into all kinds of places that
you would otherwise believe they.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Can't they can.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
We'll have that coming up. Also, we're going to have
for you the product recall of the week. That's a
special feature, And don't forget there's a health poll question
over on my website. We're trying to get your opinion
of which political persuasion do you believe is more compassionate?
Conservative or liberal? All right, we're going to come back.

(29:42):
Stay with us.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
It's the Doctor Bob Martin Show. So you.

Speaker 7 (30:08):
Didn't I'm a bush of his number, Simoncible.

Speaker 8 (30:20):
The old one never single.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
Minds a power.

Speaker 5 (30:26):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
I'm so confident, mostoppable.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Today you're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
We thank you for that.

Speaker 3 (30:40):

Speaker 2 (31:34):
All right.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
Next up, we have for you this week's installment of
the product Recall of the Week.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Product Recall the Week.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Vanilla and buttermilk flavored waffles waffles in the news for
recall recalled across the entire Midwest have now been making
a risk classification by the US Food and Drug Administration.
Recalled waffles made in by the Utah based Kodiak Cakes

(32:09):
have recently been classified as a Class two recall.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
By the FDA.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
A total of well over seven thousand boxes of Kodiak
protein packed power waffles, buttermilk and vanilla products shipped to
Costco locations in the Midwest. We're voluntarily recalled due to
a potential presence of soft plastic films.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
Wow, I don't want to eat plastic.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Well, if you don't want to eat plastics, then don't
eat Kodiac Cakes their vanilla butter milk flavored waffles because
apparently they have issues with that. Take it back to
Costco or wherever you purchased it to get your money back,
but do not eat it or.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Just simply throw it away.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
So there you go. Product recall of the week. Next,
we go to the top ten list. Rats carrying a
host of diseases can it infect humans, including deadly infections
like leptospirosis, cantavirus, and rat bite fever. When they infest buildings,

(33:14):
they can also cause significant structural damage. These pernicious pass
rats are synonymous with city life, but some suburban areas
have bigger rat problems than others. Termin X, a nationwide
pest control company, looked into which of its three hundred
branches dispatched the most rodent control services in their ranking

(33:36):
of cities that require the most services in the most
or the ten most rat infested cities. Here they are,
starting with number ten, Atlanta, Georgia number nine one, lists
Dallas Fort Worth number eight, Boston seven on the list
of top ten rat infested cities, Houston, EXUS. Chicago is

(34:01):
number six. Five on the list of top ten rat
invested cities, Washington, d c. Then Philadelphia at four, Los
Angeles number three, San Francisco number two, the May area,
and the number one city that is the most rat
infested city in the United States. Can you guess what
it is? Number one on the list? Well, if you

(34:24):
said New York. You got it right, You nailed it.
Who would a guest?

Speaker 2 (34:30):
All right, let's go back to work with your telephone
calls and questions.

Speaker 7 (34:33):
Now.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Next up on the caller hotline phone number at eight
hundred six to zero six eight eight two to two,
eight hundred six to zero six eight eight.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Two to two is Bruce in Tipton, Iowa.

Speaker 9 (34:46):
Bruce in Tipton, Iowa. I'm specifically looking for ways to
lower tri calysseride. I'm not very concerned with the cholesterol
necessarily that the trike clysserides is more concerned with. Is
there something a product that you have, not that do

(35:07):
you have, but can offer or ways to lower the
dragon caplysride specifically? Thank you.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
All right, Bruce, thank you for your call. I know
where tipt In, Iowa is. I grew up very close
to there. I used to go pheasant hunting in Tipton,
Iowa when I was a lad. Well, Yes, you can
help lower treglysrides. Ideally, having a triglyceride range in your
blood test, Bruce should be around fifty to one hundred.
That's the sweet spot, fifty to one hundred after fasting

(35:37):
for at least eight to ten hours. That's what treglizer
account should be. Fifty to one hundred elevated treglizer accounts.
What they do indicate is heart disease possibility or diabetes.
So you can lower your treglysrides in your bloodstream by
avoiding fast acting carbohydrates like alcohol and fruit juice and

(36:00):
sugary drinks and candy and ice cream and white flour products.
Also you can foods that lower treglycerides are like berries
and apples and pears, beans, legumes, whole grains, all that.
But supplements. There are some excellent supplements Bruce in the

(36:20):
health food store that will lower treglycerides. One is kyola garlic.
Number two is el carnatine and amino acid very successful
at lowering treglyceride counts. Omega three oils either from salmon
or flax. Getting more fiber in your diet or taking
fiber supplements, and there's an irb called berberine can also

(36:43):
lower treglysrides. Make sure you understand too, if you're having
lipid problems, exercise very important as well, my friend. All right, Bruce,
thank you for every phone called. We're coming right back.
I'm doctor Bob Martin.

Speaker 2 (37:00):

podcast library, vote on this week's health poll question that's
sitting right there. All right, it's time now for the
health mystery of the week. Well, Man's best friend otherwise

(37:52):
known as a dog. Dogs are really man's best friend,
but pop's little baby puppies and little dogs. Their brains
can sync with ours when we gaze into their eyes.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
That's what a study is finding.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
As mysterious as it sounds, if you've ever felt like
your dog knows exactly what you're thinking, you might be right.
That's according to a new study which has revealed that
dogs' brains sink with ours when they gaze into our eyes.
Scientists from the Chinese Academy of Science. Is found that

(38:29):
neurons in parts of the brain associated with attention synchronized
more strongly as pairs of dogs and humans became more familiar.
It has been known that humans' brains sink up as
we interact, but this marks the first time the brain
synchrony has ever been observed across species. That is the

(38:52):
health mystery of the week. Let's see if we can
get another phone call in before the end of the hour.
