(00:52):
eight twenty two. That's eight hundred six zero six eighty
eight twenty two. It's the Doctor Bob Martin.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
And so it is my privilege and my honor to

chosen calling and talent, which is all about giving help

(01:23):
It's fabulous to participate in a radio show forum like
talk radio, the spoken word format where sick people tune
into this show to get healthy naturally, and will people
tune into this show to stay healthy. Welcome, Welcome everyone
to the Doctor Bob Martin Show. I'm doctor Bob encouraging
you to become your own best doctor most of the

(01:46):
time by learning about your own health and your own
wellness and participating in healthcare. It's what it's all about.
That way reduce sick care. We have a sick care
system that's pretty good in terms of dealing with emergency procedures,
nine to one to one am ambulances, acute trauma, cute abdomen,

(02:10):
broken bones, cuts, wounds, all of that, strokes, heart attacks.
We do that better probably the most countries. However, when
it comes to keeping people well so that stuff doesn't happen,
we fail over and over and over again compared to
other countries. In fact, American healthcare we pay most of

(02:33):
countries compared similar countries in terms of economics and populations,
we pay the most and get the worst outcomes. America
ranks dead last among ten advanced economies for health outcomes,
according to a new report from the Commonwealth Fund that

(02:55):
paints a grim portrait of a failing health system which
shouldn't really even be called a health system. It should
be called a sick system because it is sick. It's
on death row, it's on really sick for a long
period of time. The American healthcare system, we call it.
The report reveals that despite paying more for health care

(03:20):
than any other peer nation, Americans die the youngest live,
excuse me, live the sickest lives, and have the most
avoidable deaths. And I'm quoting here now one of the
lead researchers in this study from the Commonwealth Fund saying,

(03:43):
and I quote, the US stands out for its exceptionally
weak overall performance, especially in the context of spending more
on healthcare than any other nation in the study. This
edition's finding suggests the US needs to work on multiple
fronts simultaneous to make significant progress. Close quote. This is

(04:09):
the eighth study since two thousand and four that the
Commonwealth Fund had published analyzing seventy seventy health systems performances,
measuring focusing on five areas of healthcare system performance, access
to healthcare, the care process, administrative efficiency, equity and outcomes

(04:33):
and The countries included in this report are Australia, Canada, France,
the Netherlands, New Zealand, suite in Switzerland, the United Kingdom
and the United States. Painting the portrait of a failing
health system. Much like other reports, the American healthcare system

(04:57):
and the resulting outcomes leave much to be to des
The US continues to be in a class by itself
in the underperformance of its healthcare sector. The nine nations
examined are more alike than different with respect to their

(05:17):
higher and lower performance in various domains, but there is
one glaring exception, the US. In the US and Ladies
and Gentlemen, this underscore is the reason why you must
become your own best doctor most of the time and
not wait to break down before you decide to take

(05:39):
charge of your own personal health. It simply makes no
sense to solely rely on a doctor for your healthcare
answers because you're waiting until something breaks before you fix it.
I mean, we take better care of our cars than that.
We change the oil and we go in. We make

(06:01):
sure that the air and the tires are proper. We
make sure we do all that so that we don't
break down with our car and the boonies. It's expensive,
but yet we wait until our bodies break before we
do anything about it. That's what we're taught. Fix it
when it breaks. There's gold in them. With our ills well.
The ability to keep people healthy is critical. It's a

(06:21):
critical indicator of a nation's capacity to achieve equitable growth.
In fulfilling this fundamental obligation, the US continues to fail
time and time again. The American healthcare system, which functions
more like a sick care system, is also failing children's health,
whose outcomes are the key to the future. A paper

(06:43):
published in the JAMA Journal of the American Medical Association
Pediatrics suggests that American children and teens are dying at
a higher rate than sixteen other peer high income countries,
and infomortality rate alls so exceeds peer nations. Why is that, well,

(07:06):
you answer the question, it shouldn't be well, physician and scientists.
Doctor Robert Malone, MD said, and I quote clearly, the
United States healthcare system is failing to provide value for
money and is failing the citizens of the United States.
Close quote, adding that generally speaking, US citizens are glad

(07:28):
to pay more for longer, healthier lives, but in fact
we are paying the most of the ranked countries for
the worst overall outcomes. That's what a doctor doctor Robert Malone,
by the way, who is responsible for some of the
technology that went into the mRNA technology, which he now

(07:51):
wishes he wouldn't have. But nonetheless, the report highlights the
American that America is significantly falling behind its international peers
in terms of healthcare performance outcomes despite having the highest spending.
But it wasn't always this way. In the nineteen eighties,
the healthcare expenditures were comparable to Germany Sweden. However, since then,

(08:13):
the US has far outpaced other nations, spending more than
sixteen percent of our GDP on sickcare in twenty twenty two,
a figure predicted to exceed twenty percent by twenty thirty five.
Now you know long in the short of this, ladies
and gentlemen, is the call to action for you to

(08:37):
not wait until you get sick and wait for a
decision to be made on your behalf because you've broken down.
The key here is to become your own best doctor
by knowing that there's nothing more important in your life,
your home, your car, no inanimate object is more important
than your own health, because with your health you have

(08:59):
every thing you need, and without it, you have nothing.
I treated and knew so many very very wealthy people
that I had the opportunity to assist in caring for
them as a doctor. And I'm talking about people who
were extremely wealthy, and they came into my office all

(09:23):
broken down because they were chasing the green back dollar,
working too much, not getting what they needed food wise,
not getting reduced in their stress, not taking care of
themselves because they were after money. They were after bigger homes,
fancier cars, and material wealth. And when they broke down

(09:48):
and their health was in the tank, circling the drain,
they would have many of them giving up all of
their worldly goods to get their health back. Be one
of them. It is a really desperate place. I've seen
it in the eyes of so many people, and they
never believed it would happen to them. They were indestructible,

(10:13):
usually males, by the way, heads of companies, CEOs, presidents
of companies, thinking that nah, no problem, I got a
stomach ache, I'll take a pill. I've got an infection.
I'll do a Z pack, I'll take some steroids, I'll
take an injection. Oh yeah, as soon as I get sick,
my doctor will fix me right up. Put some band aids. Yeah,

(10:33):
band aids is exactly right. That's about all you'll get. Symptomatic,
classic allopathic approach rather than counseling and telling you, look,
you need to change your way so you're gonna die,
sir or ma'am, and here's how to do it. We
need more of that for sure. Ladies and gentlemen, stay tuned.
We're coming back with the health alternative of the week.

(10:55):
I'm doctor Bob Martin. Hi, welcome you back to this
hour of the Doctor Bob Martin showing it. If you're

(11:16):
just tuning into the program. I also want to let
you know we have a health poll question going on
on my website over at doctor Bob dot com. Spell
out the word doctor D O C T O R
Bob dot com. Vote on this health pole question. Please,
would you give up your favorite snack to avoid the
risk of the Big C cancer? Yes or no? Vote

(11:39):
on that and we'll have the results at a later date.
So we'll do that now. We're going to do something
a little bit different here before we go back to
phone calls and questions. At eight hundred six zero six
eight eight to two to two. That's our caller, doctor,
Bob Martin, Show caller, hotline phone or JOHNA Down. So

(12:00):
you have it always that way. If any time you
need me, I'm here for you. You can call that number.
You'll hear me answer the phone, ask you to give
your first name only, first name only, city and state
you're living in, and then your question or your health comment.
Eight hundred six hundred six to zero six eight eight
two two one. Eight hundred six zero six eighty eight

(12:25):
twenty two is the call in phone number. Now we're
gonna do something a little bit different. Normally we have
the Health Alternative of the Week first as the feature,
but today it's a little bit different because the health
outrage will better lead into the answer for the health

(12:48):
out outrage. In other words, the health outrage is going
to go first, then the health alternative of the week,
which satisfies the problem with the health outrage. If you're
confused already, stick around, I explain. Here we go the
health outrighted up the week. She's you don't believe it

(13:09):
come on Easter for the health outbridge because it's nothing,
but it is outrageous how these things get started. It's
like fire going on suddenly. The latest craze that's health
outrageous among sexually active people is to go out and

(13:30):
purchase baby oil for the workshop visa VI the bedroom.
Bottles of baby oil are flying off the shelves of
stores nationwide because of all all of what's been all
over the news. Consumers are thinking to themselves saying, WHOA,

(13:51):
it must be amazing to use baby oil in the
bedroom since a famous wrapper had purchased a thousand bottles
and had it on home, had it on hand in
his home when he was raided. Recently, you must have
heard about it. A warning has been issued about using

(14:14):
Johnson and Johnson's baby oil or other oils like it,
baby oils like it in the bedroom. After Sean Diddy
p didty Comb's sex trafficking scandal. You may have heard
about it on television, been all over the news. When
these things happen, people go, oh my gosh, look at that.

(14:38):
And they showed pictures inside his home of apparently there's
a thousand bottles of baby oil that was confiscated from
Ditty's home during the Department of Homeland Security raid. The
pictures were all over television and the internet, and of
course people look at that and they go, WHOA, what

(15:01):
does did he know that we need to know about
baby oil being in the bedroom? Well, I want to
tell you it's outrageous one that this has happened in
the first place, of course, but what happens when stuff
like this is aired and it just happens people go, oh, gosh,
I need to do this, which is outrageous. But I

(15:23):
want you to know something about mineral oil so that
you can stop in your tracks from doing that and
if you have it in your home, get rid of it.
Here's why. Exposure to mineral oils like baby oil is
strongly associated with an increased risk of skin cancer, particularly
if it's used in the scrotum area. And so, of course,

(15:46):
you know, consumers are seeing all this baby oil over
at Diddy's house, thinking, oh, I didn't know that, I'm
going to start using that stuff, and so they do,
and they're exposing their sensitive private areas to toxicity in
the form of this mineral oil. Mineral based oils are
chemical substances ladies and gentlemen, prepared from crude petroleum oil.

(16:12):
This is oil from inside the ground, the same stuff
that makes gasoline. Urologists are warning that using baby oil
during sex could lead to broken condoms, painful rashes, and
deadly infections. In fact, getting baby oil near the vaginal

(16:32):
area can increase the risk of a woman developing a
yeast infection. One study in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology,
for example, found that getting baby oil inside the vaginal
area helped the yeast and bacteria Canada Alba cans colonize

(16:53):
mineral oil. Not good. I have always worn people against
using baby oil. So it sounds so innocuous, it sounds
so fun, It sounds so normal to use baby oil
because it has a nice odor to it. I mean,
why would Johnson's or any of the other companies that
sell baby oil put anything in that bottle if it

(17:15):
was going on a baby's bottom. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm
telling you do not use baby oil. It is toxic.
Mineral oil, which is what baby oil is, contains a
variety of potential toxins, including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons phs's. Some
of these pahs's are known or potential carcinogens. Why on

(17:41):
earth would you put that on a baby's bottom when
changing the baby's diapers. Oh, I know you don't want
the baby to get schaffed. Well, there are options. There
are other healthier alternatives, which I'm going to tell you
about in this week's health Alternative of the weak session section,
which will be coming up shortly. However, these mineral oils,

(18:04):
which are coming from petroleum crude petroleum, they're refined mineral
oils that have these ingredients in them. In the United States,
it's common for mineral oil products to not be fully refined,
which can lead to these polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or phs contaminations.

(18:27):
And by the way, mineral oils can also contain heavy metals.
You don't want those in contact with your skin because
they absorb into your skin. They're not good, not good
for you. So the outrage is of course that people
are going crazy now and buying up all the mineral
oil because they saw it on television, they saw it

(18:48):
was in somebody else's home, and they know something that
you should know, and now you're using it. Don't do
it and stand by for the health alternative of the weak,
because I'll plug in the solution a better alternative than
some of these mineral oils that are toxic for your body.
All right, let's go back to your telephone calls and questions. Uh,

(19:10):
we're gonna go out of order here and we're gonna
go to next to Terry. Uh, Terry doesn't have a
city to go.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Terry p e r R y Okay, my health questioned
about my knees. I I can't find a remedy. I
got this stuff from Amazon that's supposed to help joints,

(19:39):
and and the only other remedy is uh sick smirt shot.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
I'm just coming on.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
And if there's any other thing you can think, thank you.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
All right, Terry, thank you for your call there. Yes,
you must build up your cartilage between your joints. Uh,
and some people have damaged that due to Toronto. One
thing you can do to help that is to take
something called Revive Revive Collagen. It's a collagen powdered supplement.
You just put it into a smoothier drink. Revive r
E v I ve E Collagen by bright Core. It's

(20:25):
a company that makes a collagen which is probably the
best collagen on the market. You can call the company
directly eight eight eight two two seven nine three three
eight eight eight eight two two seven nine three three eight.
Number two on the list of my choices would be
healthy knees and Joints of formulation by Terry Naturally Vitamins.

(20:45):
You can get that in finer health food stores. This
will help build up the cartilage within the joints. I'm
doctor Bob Martin. We'll be right back.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
Everybody's got fay mistakes, but everybody's got a choice to make.
Everybody needs to leave the faith when he's taking yours money.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
You info, well, you're tuned into the largest and longest
airing nationally syndicated radio health talk show in America, going
on twenty eight years in national syndication, in large part

(21:33):
thanks to you tuning into the program and telling other
people to do the very same thing. And we so
very much appreciate that the more people that were able
to have listened to the show, the more people were
able to help with their most precious possession, their health.
That's what this show is dedicated to. It's what it's
all about. I mean, before we get to this week's

(21:57):
health Alternative of the Week. We kind of did it
backwards this week for very good reason. The health outrage
was about baby oil and why not to use it?
Why not to get sucked into things you see on
TV just because somebody else is using it. We'll get
to the answer what to use instead of baby oil
that's healthier for you shortly in the health Alternative of

(22:22):
the Weak segment before I get to that, and then
we'll get back to phone calls and questions. But before
I get to that, I want to make sure that
you understand that you can excuse me, you can stretch
every single dollar these days, because inflation is eating up
the value of our dollars. You can stretch it out.
The good folks over at Kyolic are helping doctor Bob

(22:45):
Martin listeners by offering free nutritional supplement samples and coupons
to help keep your costs down. You simply go to
their website at Kyolic one I l C dot com,
Forward Slash Radio and request free nutritional supplements while supplies last.

(23:11):
I jump on this. They apparently purchase too many of
these samples and coupons and they're giving them away while
supplies last, so don't hesitate on this. They've got ones
that are for cardiovascular health, immune support, or stress and
fatigue relief. You simply go to Kyola kylic dot com

(23:35):
forward Slash Radio to get your free nutritional samples and
valuable coupons. All right now, in the previous segment, the
Health Outrage of the Week, you heard my dissertation, if
you will, on the fact that baby oil is not
good because it comes from petrochemicals. It has lots of

(23:57):
toxins in it. I am not a fan of it,
many other aren't. And you certainly don't want to use
it near your more sensitive privates, that's for sure, because
it can wreak havoc on that. And here, ladies and gentlemen,
we present the healthier alternative to the standard baby oil,
the health alternative of the week. All right, the health

(24:29):
Alternative of the Week plugs right into people throwing away
their baby oil from Johnson and Johnson or whatever company
you got it from, that petrochemical that you don't need
or want. Now that you know what's in it and
how it can bother your body, you need an alternative.
Here's the alternative soothing baby oil by a company by
the name of now now Now makes incredible baby products.

It's called soothing baby oil by a company by the
name of Now baby Oil, miner oil, cooking oil, and

with your telephone calls and questions at eight hundred six
zero six eight eight two to two. Next caller is
Kristin in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
This is Kristin from Hershey, Pennsylvania, and I just have
a question. I've been listening to you for a while
and I've wondered this. You say you're a chiropractic physician.
So if I find achiropractic physician, does that mean he's
an MD or just a chiro, not just a chiropractor?
But is he a chiropractor or an MD or both?

(28:51):
I don't know if my insurance will cover it, but
I've been having a condition for over ten years now,
and it was suggested that perhaps a chiropract physician could help.
It's a nerve damage problem. So okay, thank you. I'll
be listening.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
All right, Christin, thank you for your phone call. A
condition for over ten years and sounds like you've been
trying medical care for the condition, which it is definitely
not working. And I'm glad that somebody had the sense
to mention to you, Christian Kristin, you have this nerve

(29:32):
related condition. Maybe you need to know about other healing
arts that might be able to assist you in your
quest to recover from it. I'm glad you're making that connection, Kristin.
I'm going to tell you how you can find and
know more about what a chiropractic physician is all about.
When we come back from this break, stay with us.

(29:52):
You're tuned into The Doctor Bob Martin Show.

Speaker 6 (30:02):
So I'm a bush of number sigmon, the one never

(30:22):
single minds up.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Today add a healthy Welcome back to this hour the
Doctor Bob Martin Show. We have a health pole question
we'd love to get your opinion of, and it goes
like this, would you give up your favorite snack to
avoid the risk of developing cancer? Yes?

Speaker 4 (30:48):
Or no?

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Please vote at doctor Bob dot com. Spell out the
word doctor doctor Bob dot com. There you also find
lots of news from around the globe. That's where the
podcast library recordings of all past shows. You can follow
me on the social media platforms of Instagram, linked In,

(31:10):
and x It's all there, all right. Our last caller
into the program, Christen from Hershey, Pennsylvania, asked, she has
apparently some kind of a nerve related condition. She's had
for a long time, ten years, and she's obviously been
under somebody's care not getting well. Somebody mentioned she should

(31:32):
see a chiropractic physician. Wanted to know the difference between
a chiropractor and a chiropractic physician, and you know whether
or not that might be of some assistance to her.
So I want to answer that thoroughly because some people
are confused about this. First of all, a physician of
any sort is a doctor automatically, and when you use

(31:52):
the word physician, it typically means a doctor that practices
general healing, as opposed to let's say, a surgeon. The
word physician is really it's really an old word, coming
from both Greek and Latin roots from physic meaning natural
science and medicine. Of course, conventional medicine. Organized medicine would

(32:15):
like to monopolize the word physician to only include MD
and do O, do MD and DO only to limit
competition in the marketplace. But they cannot do that. In fact,
right now, I'm looking up at the wall here in
my office at one of my state licenses that I have,

(32:36):
and it clearly says chiropractic physician as far as training goes,
and most people are unaware of this, as far as
training goes between allopathic doctors and nature paths and chiropractic
physicians and so forth. When you compare the differences, there's

(32:57):
all kinds of different differences to different types of physicis Now.
Today's chiropractic physicians receive a broad and eclectic science based education.
In fact, it's quite comparable to that of medical practitioners.
Before acceptance to a five year or four year chiropractic

(33:18):
university or college, prospective chiropractic physicians must complete a minimum
of three to four years of undergraduate work with a
heavy emphasis on sciences. This focus of science, combined with
clinical training and application, continues throughout their entire educational experience,
emphasizing classroom and laboratory work in anatomy, physiology, public health, microbiology, pathology,

(33:47):
and biochemistry. Later chiropractic students, they focus on specializing subjects
including chiropractic philosophy and practice, along with clinical diagnosis and
adjusting methods. Since chiropractic physicians choose not to prescribe drugs
instead studying instead of them studying pharmacology and surgery, they

(34:09):
receive an even deeper training and anatomy, physiology, rehabilitation, nutrition, lifestyle, medicine, diagnosis,
X rays, physiotherapy, and a variety of other physical techniques
that aren't taught in any other healthcare field, and upon graduation,
chiropractic physicians must pass stringent national and state board examinations

(34:32):
prior to licensure. Additionally, three year postgraduate board certification programs
are available in the specialties of clinical nutrition, internal disorders, neurology, orthopedic,
sports medicine, pediatrics, and a whole long list of others.
Chiropractic enjoys one of the most enviable safety records of

(34:56):
any licensed and regulated healing art in existence today, so
disparaging the educational achievements, safety and efficacy of modern chiropractic
physicians is outdated. It's an outdated belief from another era
based on propaganda, bigotry, and ignorance. Basically, every licensed and

(35:17):
regulated healing art goes through changes as recent as the
nineteenth century. If you know anything about history of medicine,
as reason as the nineteenth century, conventional medicine utilized blood
letting and leeches and skin blistering as healing techniques. In fact,
conventional medicine killed our first president. They did with their care.

(35:42):
George Washington was blood let for an infection he had
basically had like either a cold or maybe pneumonia, and
so at his bedside, the medical doctors in his time,
they came in it just kept bleeding him out, thinking
that the poor spirits or the bad spirits will eventually

(36:05):
leave and he'll get better. Believe it or not, they're
occasionally still used in medicine today. Leeches are excellent at
promoting circulation and blood in an area, which can be
invaluable when a patient is experiencing clotting and venus congested
after a procedure, and blood letting is used as a
therapeutic philebotomy in a condition called hemochrontosis or iron storage disease.

(36:30):
So essentially the four primary healing arts today are MD physicians,
osteopathic physicians, chiropractic physicians, and nature petic physicians. It really
boils down to training, different approaches and different skill sets.
Example would be a conventional MD or do O typically

(36:51):
give you something for your headache, like to numb it.
The chiropractic physician seeks to find the cause of the headache.
We'll be right back, and I welcome you back to

(37:16):
the Doctor Bob Martin final segment of our show today.
Thank you so very much for tuning into the program.
We do something special in our last segment. It's called
the health Mystery of the week. While scientists find humans
age dramatically mysteriously in two burths at age forty four

(37:38):
and then again at age sixty us finding suggesting aging
is not a slow and steady process, and it could
explain spikes in health issues at certain ages. If you
have noticed a sudden accumulation of wrinkles, aches and pains,
or general sensation of having grown older almost overnight, there

(37:59):
may be a scientific explanation for the mystery. Research suggests
that rather than being a slow and steady process, aging
occurs in at least two accelerated bursts. The study, which
track thousands of different molecules in people between the ages
of twenty five and seventy five, detected two major waves

(38:21):
of age related changes at around age forty four and
then again at age sixty. The findings could explain why
spikes in certain health issues, including muscular skeletal problems and
cardiovascular disease, occur at certain ages. They say, we're not
just changing gradually over time. There are some really dramatic changes.

(38:46):
It turns out in mid forties is the time for
dramatic change, and then in your early sixties, and that's
no matter what So as mysterious as that sounds, that's
what the researchers are finding, and that's why qualified as
a health mystery of the week. All right, let's squeeze
another phone call in before the end of the hour.

(39:07):
Here is Mary in Bellevue, Iowa. Mary, Bellevue, Iowa. Can
you take ivermectine mectin if you're on a blood thinner
and warfront. Thank you, Okay, Mary, thank you for your
phone call. Yes, ivermectin should be a concern, and it

(39:28):
may be it may interact with these commonly prescribed these
other commonly prescribed medications. It's always a good idea when
you have questions like this is to check with a
pharmacist or the prescribing doctor. But if you're considering taking ivermectin,
people using blood thinners like Warfront or plavix or any

(39:49):
of the other blood thinning agents could interact with ivermectin,
it's my understanding, and have an increased risk of blood
plotting disorder. So the best thing, the best way to
make sure if you're taking any drugs and you question
whether or not there may be a problem by taking

(40:09):
a combination of drugs polypharmacy we call it. The very
best thing you can do is to check with a
pharmacist or your personal doctor. That would be the key. So, yes,
ivermectin is known to interact with blood tenning agents. That's
the answer. But I want you to check with a
pharmacist or your doctor. They're the experts in that arena.

(40:33):
And I do appreciate your phone call into the program today. Mary.
Good health to you all right, ladies and Jhnaen. We've
come to the end of the show. I want to
wish you a healthy day and a healthy week. You've
been tuned into The Doctor Bob Martin Show, be well
