that we have a health poll question. We'd love to
get your opinion up today.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
It kind of goes like this.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
First, before I tell you what the health Bowl question is,
on my website at doctor Bob dot com, spell out
the word doctor always docto.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
R bob dot com.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Think about your favorite snack in the world, the one
thing that you absolutely enjoy snacking on. You crave it,
you can't wait to get it, you consume it on
a regular basis. And then imagine that you read something
that says that the ingredients in that favorite snack that

(02:33):
you have has the potential to increase or ratchet up
your risk of the big sea.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
And I do mean cancer. I think about that for
a moment. Is it worth it?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Are you willing to roll the dice? Here's the health
pole question on my site. It let it get your
opinion of it, and it goes like this, would you
give up your favorite snack to avoid the risk of cancer?

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Or no?

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Vote on that. Well, have the results on the next show.
Once we gather are pulling data, We're also going to
be getting to your phone calls and health related questions
on our Doctor Bob Martin's Show caller hotline this hour.
So definitely don't go anywhere because if you asked a
question on our caller hotline at eight hundred six zero

(03:26):
six eight eight two to two, you might hear your
question answered. And I don't want you to go anywhere
because you might miss the answer. All of that straight ahead. Now,
we're going to begin this hour with a topic that
I think a lot of you already know about because
you're being slammed. You're being bombarded, You're being overwhelmed with

(03:47):
commercials on television and other places encouraging the usage of
a drug class called GLP one GOLP one are drugs
that were initially earmarked to help people with high blood
sugar type two diabetes, and it's highly effective at lowering

(04:10):
blood sugar, no question about it, even though it I
mean it's you know, do you want to be on
it for life? Type two diabetes is totally reversible and
manageable without any drugs in most people. But some people
just can't get there. They refuse to exercise, fine their choice,
They refuse to not eat sugar and highly refined, fast

(04:32):
acting simple sugar foods, fine their choice, and they just
you know, lifestyles are those that are perpetuating high blood
sugar levels. So if they can take a pill to
make it all go away, that would be what they
prefer because they want to eat their pie and have
it too and not exercise day on the couch whatever

(04:53):
it may be. No judgment on that. I'm just telling
you how it goes. But what we are, what I'm
gonna present to you here is I'm gonna help you
to meet some people who are currently suing one of
the big makers of this GLP one drug, class O sampic.

(05:13):
It is ad nauseum one right after another they're commercials,
and if it isn't ozempic, it's wigo v H. The
only thing I got out of that commercial was that
beautiful blue chevell that guy was working on before he
moved down and started walking with the rest of the crowd.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
I want that car. I used to have one of
those Chevelles. But I digress.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
All right, So we're gonna talk about and I want
you to meet through me vicariously meeting the people who
are suing one of the biggest makers of this GOLP
one drug because it's not just being used for lowering
blood sugars, being used for weight loss, shutting down a
person's appetite, paralyzing the nerve that goes from the brain

(05:58):
to the stomach, saying you don't need to eat, stop please. Well,
thousands and thousands, tens of thousands of people are now
suing these companies that are making these GLP one drugs.
By the way, there's no GLP one in these drugs,
just so you know, and as I've talked about in

(06:19):
the past, these drugs are all about HeLa monster venomin venom.
That's where this stuff comes from. It's where it originated.
Thousands of Americans are suing the makers of ozembic, WeGo
v Munjournal and all the other flavors of these other
GLP one drugs, claiming they cause them life altering injuries.

(06:43):
And I've talked about this a lot in the past,
how these drugs have so many side effects, from intestinal blockage,
to pancreatitis, to neoplasms also known as tumors, to disneyness,
gall bladderstones, kidney damage, anxiety, diabetic andropay tachi cardi, a
suicide ID. I mean, the list goes on and on

(07:05):
with these class of drugs, but people are willing to
take them with the hope that they lose weight. And yes,
if you lose weight, you do reduce your risk of
all kinds of other diseases too, including high blood pressure
and heart disease and diabetes in some forms of cancer.
I get it, but is that the way you want
to go? Well, these people thought they wanted to go

(07:25):
that way, and now they're suing the very companies that
provided these drugs because these drugs they claim injured them.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Now these suits.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Are filed were filed against Novadic Nordics and Eli Lilly,
the two pharma giants that have raked in billions and
billions of dollars thanks to the blockbuster weight loss drugs
known as g l P one. Now you might be saying, well, gosh,

(07:58):
if they're being sued, wouldn't that be you know, wouldn't
they then pull the drug off the market If they're
being sued and their people are winning these suits or
they're going to be spending bookoo dollars on lawyers. These
companies don't care if they're sued. Here's how it works.

(08:20):
If you're making billions and billions of dollars and lawsuits come,
and you're only paying millions and millions of dollars into
those funds to give the sufferers, those people who've been
damaged compensation you win as a drug company. They'll do

(08:41):
that all day long. Give me billions. I'll spend millions
all day long. Well, here's I want to have you
meet some of these people. Ohio native and grandmother of seven,
Dana Fillmore can no longer eat solid foods and has
to blend her meals. Louisville's Jacqueline Barber threw up so

(09:06):
much she became dangerously malnourished. Tennessee oil rigged worker Bob Turtle.
Tuttle was forced to quit his job because the stomach
pain was unbearable, and Philadelphia born Debbie Kurtz believed she
would never make it out of the hospital alive. They

(09:29):
and many others argue in the suit against Lily, Eli,
Lilly and Novadisk, the pharmaceutical companies they failed to warn
its millions of eager customers about the real risk of
severe gastrointestinal injury, including stomach paralysis, gull bletter issues, colon removal,

(09:58):
and more, as well as making misleading statements about the
drugs' safety. Dana Fillmore, a fifty five year old diabetic,
was uncomfortable with the prospect of having to stick herself
with a needle every week when her doctor suggested she
try Ocembic to manage her type two diabetes. For about

(10:21):
two years, the medicine did what it was supposed to do,
what it was to proved to do, lower her blood
sugar levels, but in the last six months that she
was on it, the severe nausea kicked in. It gradually worsened,
and she had to burn through her vacation time to recuperate.
It got to the point where she became scared to

(10:43):
eat solid foods because a few bites would send her.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
To the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
She told her reporter, the solids foods are now really
difficult on me.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
My body just rejects him the rest of the story.
After this, I'm Doctor Bob Martin.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
Even if healing doesn't come.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Come nine God and trees. You God, you are good
forever faith.

Speaker 3 (11:24):

Martin's Show. The website, which is really the extension of

(12:08):

dot com.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Now, we also have a.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
Caller hotline phone number that I want you to have
for safe keeping. I hope you don't need it right now,
because you're healthy and you're happy, that's fantastic. But if
you're not, you can use this caller hotline to call
in your health question or make your health related comment
about something that I said, something you heard on the show,
or something you're curious about, or if you want to
call in on behalf of somebody else, you can that number.

(12:37):
Eight hundred six zero six eight eight two two eight
hundred six zero six eight two two one eight hundred
six zero six eighty eight twenty two. All right, now,
Before we took that last break, I was talking about
Dana Fillmore, fifty five year old diabetic who just got

(12:58):
tired of needling herself every week to check her blood sugar,
and her doctor suggested that she go on osembic because
it is a drug that lowers blood sugar.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
That's what it does.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
It's one of the drugs one of the potential indications
for taking these GLP one class of drugs.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
It lowers blood sugar.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
I wished he would have had a conversation with her
about exercise, diet, and lifestyle, which can totally reverse type
two diabetes in almost every single case, but she chose
to go along with a drug wielding doctor who suggested
he was taught to do that. That's what doctors do.
They prescribe drugs, and he prescribed the osembic. She took it,

(13:50):
and she's not doing so good. She was recently diagnosed
with gastroparesis, or paralysis of her stomach. It caused muscle
contractions in her stomach to become too weak to digest
food and pass it along to the intestines for absorption,
causing food to stay in the stomach for longer than

(14:14):
it should, and when the stomach does release the food,
rather than doing so gradually in a steady manner, the
stomach empties in larger, unprocessed bursts, causing chaotic and extreme diarrhea.
Mss Fillmore, who had to excuse herself mere minutes after

(14:36):
starting a meal, said, and I quote you never know
what will set you off close quote well, it is
even disrupted her thirty five minute commute on her job,
where she manages a team of technicians at a mechanical company, folks,
this is what happens to so many people on these

(14:58):
gop one drugs that they're making off schedule.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Now is on schedule for weight loss.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
And there are all kinds of different names for them, Ozembig,
weggav Munjuno, a whole bunch of them out there. You
may know somebody who's on them and need to alert
them to this. Here's what she goes on to say,
and I quote, halfway to work, I had to stop
into a restaurant or to a gas station. My stomach

(15:26):
doesn't give me long to really decide where I'm going
to go.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Close quote.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Her diet now consists mostly of protein shakes and jello.
It's the only meal plan that keeps her from running
to the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
And then you have.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
In Louisville, Kentucky, Jacqueline Barber. I'm by the way, ladies, John,
I'm presenting you some classic cases of people who are
suing these drug makers Ozembic and that make Ozembic and
weggav Eli, Lilly and Novo Nordis and all these other
companies that are making these drugs. They're making billions and

(16:06):
billions of dollars, and lots of people now are suing
them because of the adverse side effects, So of course
they're making billions. They'll have lawsuits and they'll settle for millions.
Who wouldn't take that deal get billions and only payback millions.
That's why drug companies laugh at these lawsuits. They win

(16:26):
all the time. So here is Louisville, Kentucky resident Jacqueline Barber,
another plaintiff in the case. The lawsuit case has also
been diagnosed with gastro paresis, a paralysis of her stomach
that threatened her life. She was prescribed o zembic for
her type two diabetes in twenty twenty one, but spent

(16:47):
every night for over a year sleeping on the couch
next to the garbage can to manage her uncontrollable vomiting.
The forty eight year old said, and I quote, to
lay on the couch and throw up NonStop. Can't hardly
make it to walk go anywhere. It's very depressing, depressing.
Close quote. Now, this person said she couldn't keep anything

(17:14):
down at all. She had to eat crackers and peanut butter,
and peanut butter cookies is the only thing she'd probably
keep down. She said, and I quote, I ended up
losing one hundred and forty pounds. I was down to
eighty seven pounds eighty seven pounds, couldn't walk or get around,

(17:36):
couldn't get off the couch. Nobody knew what was going on.
No one put the two things together that it was
this drug that my doctor suggested, this gop one drug
that took me out of commission. Ms Barbara had to
be placed on a feeding tube, and then she said,
my stomach was paralyzed. I couldn't tolerate anything. Meanwhile, here's

(18:02):
another male Tennessee native. Bob Tuttle, sixty years of age,
was sixty miles offshore on an oil rig in the
Gulf of Mexico when he had to be airlifted in
a helicopter to the emergency room after four days of
not being able to keep food down. He was diagnosed

(18:22):
with stomach paralysis within the week, tied to the taking
of one of these GLP one drugs, ozembic, that he
had been prescribed by his medical doctor. Mister Tuttle, a
safety and environmental advisor on the rig.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
The oil rig was healthy and.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Fit, a necessity for the job, which includes plenty of
stairs and running around the drug successfully managed his A
one C levels and kept his diabetes under control, but
gradually he began to lose weight without intending to. He
became increasingly fatigued and later severely nauseated. He got his

(19:01):
diagnosis just a few days after leaving the oil rig.
Gastro paresis a layman's term. It simply means inability of
the stomach to process solids or liquids that won ingests.
He says, and I quote, my stomach was processing some
of the liquids, but none of the solids during the

(19:21):
tests that they ran on me in the hospital.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Close quote.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
Novo and Lily have denied, of course, the allegations that
these drugs cause stomach paralysis. Well, of course they're gonna
deny it. Everybody denies it. A spokesman for the company
Novo nor disc said they are without merit these cases.
These people, well they didn't say this. I'm going to interject,

(19:49):
these people are hypochondriacs.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
They're making it up. They're trying to sue us.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
The risks that the drug company spokes versus said, the
risk of semi glutide, which is the drug the actor
reading ozembic are clearly stated on the label.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Sure they are, they added.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Novo Norvik's stands behind the safety and efficacy of all
golp one medicines when they are used as indicated and
when they are taken under the care of a licensed
health care professional. Ozembics FDA approved warning label mentions gastro
intestinal adverse reactions, and none of those list, by the way,

(20:27):
none of those lists Gastroparesis that all of these people
I'm just talking about. Nearly twenty two thousand adverse reactions
to ozembic have been recorded to the FDA's Voluntary Adverse
Events Reporting System. Gastro Intestinal conditions such as stomach paralysis
make up forty three percent of the reports. Ladies and gentlemen,

(20:50):
you're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show?

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Are you waiting for the right excuse? Are you waiting
for sign and choose? Why are you waiting?

Speaker 3 (21:07):
It's the time?

Speaker 5 (21:08):
Is money.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Special and FI? I'm confe.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
Fine type in.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
What are you info?

Speaker 3 (21:26):
You happen to be tuned into the Doctor Bob Marchin Show.
That I appreciate and I very much appreciate all of
our listeners telling other people about this radio show so
they too can have the opportunity to hear things that
they may not otherwise get the opportunity to hear about.
That's how we spread the word of good health and

(21:47):
happiness and becoming your own best doctor most of the
time by going out and gathering information and knowledge and
then putting it into action. Now, we'll get back to
my summation on the problem with all these people who
are suing the makers of these GLP one drugs that
basically paralyze the signaling from your brain to your stomach,

(22:11):
causing a long, long list of adverse side effects. We'll
get back to my summation of that momentarily, and then
your phone calls are coming up. Stand by first this, however,
let's talk about your oral health. It's often ignored or
it is minimized. It should not be, because your oral

(22:35):
health is important to your whole body. If you've got simmering,
low grade infections in your mouth, let's say, gum disease,
periodonal disease, you get cavities on a regular basis, you've
got bad breath, you've got fur and all kinds of
stuff on your tongue, white, thick, cheesy stuff.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
I mean, the oral cavity is the gateway to the
rest of the body.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
If it's not maintained, your health will circle the drain
it will. So take charge of it and use products
in your oral cavity that are healthful, that are not
full of chemicals that will damage your precious health. I
use what is called the Spry Dental Defense system. My

(23:22):
family uses the Spry Dental Defense System. Spry, by the way,
is spelled Spry. My healthcare colleagues that are bright and
wise use Spry as well to help avoid tooth decay, gingivitis,
periodontal disease, bad breath, Spry toothpaste, Spry mouthrints, Spry mints

(23:45):
and gum. Those are the things that we employ to
reduce our risk of dental drills and dental procedures in
the future. I don't want to face that stuff. It
is scary.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Now.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
You might say, well, what this stuff tastes like, Well,
it comes in peppermints, cinnamon, spearmints, delicious. We're talking about
Spry toothpaste, Spry mouth rints, and the gum and the mints.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
They work. They've got xyli.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
It's all a plant based ingredient in Spry. That's the
magic sauce that keeps the germs from adhering in your
mouth and tricks the germs that are causing all the
damage and destruction of your oral cavity. It tricks them
into believing that's good food. They eat it, and they
die and they leave your body. Your dentist and your
dental hygienis is going to be impressed when they look
in your mouth and say, whoa, this looks better. You've

(24:39):
been really good lately. We don't have to drill or fill.
Just tell them you've been using the Spry Dental Events system.
Easy to use, You'll love it. Your teeth and your
mouth will be squeaky clean. Spry Dental Events is available
at CBS, Right Aid, Target, Vitamin Shop, Sprouts, and other

(25:00):
fine health food stores nationwide, or you can go to
the website of the company Clear x l e ar
dot com and look for Spry s p r Y
Dential Defense System. These are the same people Clear that
make the Clear nasal sprays that I also use anytime
I travel. The Clear Rescue nasal spray with all the
important biocytal agents in it to keep germs from vading

(25:23):
deeper into your body via your nasal cavity.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
There.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
You have it all right now, then let's get back
to work with your telephone calls and your questions.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Next up, we say hello to Marlene in Sutherland, Oregon.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
My name is Marlene. I'm calling from Sutherland, Oregon and
I have been listening to you for roughly twenty years
and absolutely love your show. My question is you recommended
a mattress a while ago that you and your family use,
and I believe it was invented by a chiropractor, and

(26:05):
I just wanted to know if you could please let
me know the name of that mattress company. And I
again really appreciate your show and thank you so much
for all you do.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
Well, you're very welcome, Marlene, thank you for your phone call.

Speaker 3 (26:19):

rolodex excuse me, my rolodex here, so that I could
tell you about that, Yes, the mattress that I sleep on.
My wife and I, all of my family members and
many of my colleagues sleep on what is called a
Cairo slumber mattress. Cairo is spelled Cchiroo slumber mattress, Cairo

Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
I have had all the beds that you can every
mattress I think that's out there commercially. I've tried, and
I've investigated because dealing with thirty thousand patients and people
looking for advice on sleep, because we spend a third
of our life sleeping. If we're not getting good sleep,
nothing else matters. You must sleep well and your sleep surface,

(27:36):
your bed is key to that.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Why would you scrimp?

Speaker 3 (27:39):
Why would you sleep on a mattress it's twenty years old,
like you're sleeping in a hammock. It's all furrowed in
and you still sleeping on it. And so yes, it's
worth the investment. And these are actually very reasonable and
cost by the way, and they have this special technology
which keeps you cool on the mattress. So do check

Vaccination.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
I won't know there's anything to excite you.

Speaker 3 (29:07):
Well, Evelyn, it's your decision to get a RSV vaccination. Unfortunately,
there's a rare paralytic disease that people or doctors are
looking at researchers gon Beret's risk associated with that particular vaccine.
Some people who have received COVID shots are more susceptible

(29:28):
now to RSV respiratory sincitio virus. Most people get over
this virus. It's like a cold.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
Most people just treat it like a cold. But I
would do this.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
I would take vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, and
zinc to reduce your risk of getting it. Stay hydrated,
you know, and get plenty of sleep and maybe use
some of these clear nasal sprays to reduce your risk
as well.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Hope this helps. Thanks for your phone call, Evan. I'm
doctor Bob Martin.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
Now let's go to this.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Children who skip breakfast are more likely to be unhappy.
So if you have children in your life, if you
have grandchildren, pass this along to your children so that
they take note of this. Children who regularly skip breakfast
are more likely to be unhappy. That's what a study suggests.
Researchers found that the more often a child between the

(32:43):
ages of ten and seventeen eight breakfast, the more satisfied
they were with life and boy ten to seventeen, there's
a lot of challenges going through puberty and everything else there,
so it's up to us as parents and grandparents to
make sure their lives in terms of eating, is optimal.
They analyzed more than one hundred and fifty thousand young

(33:05):
people across forty two countries. The highest life satisfaction score
was identified in participants who had breakfast every day, and
the lowest in children who never had breakfast. Researchers believe
these there are several reasons for this, including how the

(33:25):
vitamins and nutrients in breakfast foods can help pupils concentrate
and learn in school. Among the countries studied, children who
ate breakfast every day in Portugal, for example, had the
highest level of satisfaction. In contrast, the lowest life satisfaction

(33:46):
scores were found in children from Romania who never ate breakfast.
Researchers from Anglia Ruskin University say their findings also indicate
potential socio economic factors.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
So the takeaway here.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Is if you have a child and they're getting ready
to go off to school, you make sure that they
eat breakfast. Motivate them, find out what healthy breakfast you
can feed them, and encourage them to eat and not
run off without eating breakfast, just to find somebody at
school with some junk food in their locker that they

(34:22):
can woof down, nothing but sugar and artificial everything. The child,
your child, your grandchild will be happier, they'll function better,
And that's what it's all about.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
All right, let's get right back to work.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
With your telephone calls and health related questions and comments
at eight hundred and six zero six eight eight two
two one eight hundred and six zero six eight eight
two two. Next up is Terry in Piazza, Iowa. Terry Piasa, Iowa.

Speaker 4 (34:52):
The question is about probiotics. First of all, are they
Is it good to take on? Because now there's so
many on them marketplace prebiotics, probiotics and what should I
be looking for in looking for one? Thank you for
all that you do. We appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Well. Thank you for that, Terry, Thank you for your
call too. Yes, probiotics so important. At one time we
did not understand how important the gastrointestinal track in the
bacteria within that track was to supporting good health and
good immune function. Now we know that that's where all

(35:32):
the action is. It's where all the research is looking.
So much research is looking into that area, how to
optimize it. Because if you can get the gastrointestinal track
in good working order, man, that person does so much better.
And we have such challenges in that area because of
drinking chlorinated water tap water out of the faucet, which

(35:53):
is not good. The antibiotics that are prescribed overly prescribed
in America, and all the other drugs not good, so
it damages this gastro intestinal track. And a lot of
these companies brag about how many millions and billions of
CFUs colony forming units they have for diversity. Forget about that.
What you need is a good probiotic that has probiotics,

(36:15):
probiotics and post biotic metabolites. The science is there to
back it up. And the one that I take, the
one that has the most science behind it. A doctor
who is a PhDe, doctor Ohhira, put together this amazing
probiotic called doctor Ohhira's Probiotics, No refrigeration required, easy to
travel with in your purse, in your pocket. That's why

(36:39):
I love traveling with it.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
It's the one that's kept me well and my family,
and it'll help you too.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
So when you go to the health food stores, ask
for doctor oh Hera's probiotics. And thank you Terry for
your phone call. You're tuned into the Doctor Bob margin Show.
