It's over there, all right now. I thought we would
start out this hour first with last week's health poll
question results. But before I get to the results and
(03:17):
why I asked the question last week on the program,
I want to let you know that this radio show
is a political a political which means not political. So
if there if you have ever thought, just because I'm
talking about a politician, be it former President Donald Trump
(03:38):
or current Vice President Kamala Harris or current President Joe Biden,
if you hear me say something about them, reject that
I'm sending messages in some manner, be the overt or otherwise.
So we go to the health poll results from last weekend.
(04:04):
If you were with us last weekend, you know we
asked the question on the air and then on my website.
It was posted up, which political party or political persuasion
do you believe is more compassionate? Conservative or liberal? Now?
The reason that I asked that question is because there's
(04:24):
been a poll on that previously performed by a large
polling agency doing research on this very topic, and apparently
they came up with a result. The research was conducted
in the Netherlands and has suggested that the brains of
(04:46):
conservatives are different shape compared to let's say, left wingers.
Right wingers are different than left wingers when they perform
scans on the brain means of the participants in this study,
nine hundred gen Z adults, it showed right leaning voters
(05:09):
that would be conservative have larger areas of the brain
called the amygdala. The amygdala of the brain is connected
to many different emotions. Experts Today labeled the findings surprising,
(05:29):
but warned it was not precise enough to be able
to predict someone's stance simply from the scan. However, it
also builds on a landmark research originally commissioned by actor
Colin Firth back in twenty ten as part of his
role as the as a quest editor of BBC four's
(05:53):
Today program, that uncovered a strong correlation between increased grain
matter in the amigdala, the part of the brain that
the researchers in the Netherlands say that is related to
someone's political persuasion. This other person also found that there
(06:16):
was a difference in that part of the brain and
the political views associated with it. A Professor Petropolis, the
study author and an expert in psychology at the University
of Amsterdam, set and I quote, it was really a
surprise that we replicated the amygdala finding. He goes on
(06:38):
to say, quite honestly, we did not expect to replicate
any of these findings. The amygdala controls for the perception
and the understanding of threats and risks of uncertainty, so
it makes a lot of sense that individuals who are
more sensitive towards these issues have higher needs for security,
(07:00):
which is something that typically aligns with more conservative politics.
Interesting in the study, the researchers at the University of
Amsterdam and the American College of Greece assessed the scans
of nine hundred and twenty eight adults aged between nineteen
(07:22):
and twenty six who had a differing level of education.
Each was quizzed, so they did subjective polling. Here as
well as brain scans. Each was quizzed on where they
stand on social and economic issues including women's and LGBTQ
plus rights, income equality, and which political party they identify with.
(07:49):
The brain data was then paired against the questionnaire. So
they were looking at these brain scans and the size
of a particular area of the brain that's socilsociated with
the emotional area of the brain, and they they compared
it to the questionnaires that the poll and the researchers
(08:11):
presented to the participants in the study, and they found
self proclaimed right wingers or people who are a conservative
persuasion had a more pronounced amignala, an almond shaped set
of neurons located deep in the brain's medial temporal lobe
that processed emotions. They also discovered those aligned to the
(08:36):
left or the liberal persuasion had what is called a
thicker anterior singulate, an area associated with courage and decision making. Now,
Professor Propopolists said, and I quote, we see ideology as
(08:58):
a complex, multi dimensional product that includes different attitudes on
social and economic matters as well as identification with progressive
or conservative ideas. It's really not just about left or right.
So to answer the question directly, the question that we
(09:25):
asked last weekend, which political persuasion do you believe is
more compassionate? They infer by this particular study out of
the Netherlands that conservative people who are conservatives, let's say, Republicans,
are more compassionate. That's what they said. Those are their results. Now,
(09:51):
whether you believe it or not, that's up to you.
Please don't shoot the message on this because again a
political we also, as you know, because we started out
with this last week, asking you to give us an
answer on this same question virtually, which political persuasion do
(10:13):
you believe is more compassionate? Conservative or liberal? It was
on my website. It's still there, in fact, and you
can still vote, but it was there. We looked at
the results. We have the results of that poll. I
think you may be surprised to learn what those results are,
(10:34):
and I will present them to you after we take
this break, And the question is which political persuasion do
you believe is more compassionate? Conservative or liberal? We have
our polling data and we'll see if it matches up
to those that were performed in the leathers. Stay with us.
I'm doctor Bob Martin.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Just GIVEDI.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
And a happy and a very healthy welcome or welcome
back to this hour of the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
Thank you so very much for tuning into the program.
Now a little bit later in the hour where you
get to your phone calls and your questions on the
topic of health. People calling into our caller hotline phone
number are toll free nationwide caller hotline phone number and
(11:37):
asking questions or making health related comments. I wanted to
make sure you have that phone number should you need it,
should you have a health concern that you'd like to
get an answer for, I'm here for you, and I'll
do my best to answer your question. That number is
eight hundred six to zero six eight eight two to two.
Eight hundred six zero six eight eight two to two
(12:00):
were toll free nationwide one eight hundred six zero six
eighty eight twenty two. All right, before we get to
the results of the last week's health poll question asking
you and a lot of people went over to my
website at doctor Bob dot com and voted on this.
We asked which political persuasion, which political party, if you will,
(12:24):
do you believe is more compassionate, conservative or liberal? Now,
I just stated during the last segment there that according
to research out of the Netherlands, they suggested that conservative
people Republican people are more compassionate than democrat or liberal people.
(12:45):
That's their finding, and we have our results. But before
we get to that, I just want to remind you,
and this is a super news. It should be for
many of you, especially if you're having to stretch every
dollar a little further these days because of inflation. Everybody's
(13:06):
feeling it right, Well, you're not alone. As a listener
of the Doctor Bob Martin Show. We've got you covered
with an amazing offer of one of our sponsors who
apparently must have ordered way too many samples and need
to reduce their inventory of some amazing supplements. They're just
(13:27):
going to give them away with no obligation whatsoever. So
if you want to get some free nutritional supplement samples
and valuable coupons to help keep your costs down. And
I'm talking about nutritional supplements that can help your cardiovascular health,
(13:47):
help your immune health, supporting your immune system, and another
one that can help with stress and fatigue relief. It's
really simple. All you do is log onto the internet
and go to Kyolic ky O l I C dot
com Forward slash Radio, and you request the free samples
(14:09):
and coupons. So I guess there is a free lunch
after all. Kyolic ky O l I C dot com,
Forward slash Radio to request your free nutritional supplements and
valuable coupons for nutritional supplements. All right, that simple? All right,
(14:32):
good news there, all right. Here are the results of
the poll question that we asked last week, which political
party or persuasion do you believe is more compassionate? Conservative
or Liberal? You voted at doctor Bob dot com. And
here are the results of those people who went to
my site. Wow, ninety five percent of you said that
(14:57):
you believe that the political persuasion of conservative or Republican
are more compassionate, whereas five percent of you who went
to the site and voted said you believe liberal or
Democrat political persuasion are more compassionate. You got it right,
ninety five percent of you got it right. I was
(15:20):
amazed at that poll result. I thought it would be
closer than that. It's interesting, but again I want you
to know that it's not some political message going out here.
So you have to know that while we're on that topic,
let me also interject something interesting as it relates to politics.
(15:44):
But again, no political agenda going on here. Don't see
through my messaging here, and don't shoot the messenger. Please.
Have you ever wondered about people who are political contestants
or movie stars, which one, by looking at them, have
(16:04):
they had work done? I'm always looking at that. I
don't know why it is when I'm watching television or
the news, I can always tell when somebody's had work done.
What does that mean work done? It means somebody has
messed them up cosmetic with cosmetic surgeon, like a facelift.
I can tell always in their eyes or around their
(16:26):
their nasal area, in a nasal fold area, because they
look like the Joker alien basically. And so somebody asked
a plastic surgeon, a very famous, very renowned plastic surgeon,
to comment on whether Vice President Kamala Harris had any
(16:50):
cosmetic surgery done or any work done. And then also
he analyzed pictures from current President Joe Biden did he
have any cosmetic surgeries or work done? And also former
President Donald Trump what work did he have done if
he had any done at all? So we have those
(17:11):
results to share with you today. I find them kind
of interesting. You may be interested in this, maybe not.
But Vice President Kamala Harris will turn sixty years old
this month. But to many Americans, Vice President Kamala Harris
(17:31):
appears much younger, with many people shocked, and I was
initially shocked to learn she is the same age as
her gray running mate, Governor Tim Wats Did you know
that they're the same age and he looks like he
could almost be her father or at least an older brother. Well,
(17:55):
Capitol Hill is rife, as many of you know or
can imagine, with plastic surgery rumors from President Joe Biden,
to former President Donald Trump, to Nancy Pelosi to congressman
like Matt Gates. Gates, after reviewing dozens and dozens of
(18:16):
photos and doing research, this plastic surgeon, this cosmetic surgeon
looking at photos of Kamala Harris right through her two
decade career, top plastic surgeon doctor Gary lyn Cove has
given his verdict on the cosmetic adjustments he believes she
(18:40):
had Kama Harris, that is, doctor Linkove said, and I
quote for her age. She looks so youthful and it
doesn't seem like there was much work done. Vice President
Harris previously revealed her minimalist skincare routine in a candid
(19:01):
moment during the twenty nineteen presidential campaign when she was
President Joe Biden's running mate. In an interview, she talked
about and revealed that she uses a moisturizer and a
cleanser from a Swiss company. That's pretty much it, and
doctor lin Cove said her youthful appearance we're talking about
(19:25):
Kamala Harris now was likely also aided by strong facial structure,
which can help to hold skin in place and reduce sagging,
a common occurrence with aging, and since many women combat
getting fillers to make their faces look full and plump.
(19:47):
Doctor Linkoe also suggested she had likely had some micro
needling performed around her eyebrows, saying they appeared thicker than
in past photo. Micro Needly involves needles creating micropunctures in
the skin to stimulate the body's natural healing process. He
(20:11):
dismissed online speculations she had any lip fillers, saying her
thicker upper lip instead appeared to be due to the
use of makeup. He also he could find rather no
evidence of a facelift, nos job, a brow lift or
fillers in her face at the Vice President's face, and
(20:33):
he dismissed suggestions she was a botox user, saying fine
lines in her forehead have appeared to deepen over time.
So for current Vice President Harris, that basically cosmetic surgery free.
But what about Biden and what about Trump? The doctor
(20:55):
weighs in on that right after this stay with us,
I'm doctor Bob Marsen. Are you waiting on a line
next week? Are you waiting for the perfect night?
Speaker 4 (21:07):
Are you waiting to the time is night by?
Speaker 5 (21:13):
Don't you want to learn to deal with Don't you
want to take the wheeldest steer it?
Speaker 3 (21:19):
Don't you beat another man?
Speaker 6 (21:22):
Why?
Speaker 5 (21:23):
Wait?
Speaker 2 (21:25):
What are you in for?
Speaker 3 (21:27):
I welcome you back to the Doctor Bob Martin's Show
very much. Appreciate you tuning into the program and telling
everyone you know about this radio show. In fact, to
help other people find health, find health information that we
present here each week. A good way to refer your
loved ones, your friends, your co workers, your neighbors to
(21:50):
the program and simply jot down the call letters of
the radio station you're currently listening to. I would also
note whether it's an AM station, the frequency on the dial,
and the time of the day, and just send that
out to and provide that to as many people as
you care about and you believe would benefit by listening
(22:13):
in to this radio show. It's that simple. And we
appreciate that we're growing like weed. We're growing like really
out of control. And it's the subject matter. Really. People
are interested in health and taking charge of their health.
So many Americans are feeling hopelessly ill and never getting
any answers and one answers. And that's why this show
(22:33):
is booming. It's why this show has existed now going
on well more than twenty eight years in national syndication,
in large part thanks to you. Many of you have
been listening for a couple of decades or more, and
we appreciate that. We hope that you're not only being
educated on the topic of health, but also being entertained,
(22:53):
as in the topic we're discussing right now as to
whether political figures that you know I've had any work
done as in cosmetic surgery or other things to modify
the way they look. We'll get back to that conversation
you just heard about Vice President Kamala Harris looks like
(23:14):
she's pretty much all natural. And we'll be hearing about
President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump momentarily. But
first this. You probably have heard the expression by now superfruits.
These are fruits that have incredible natural medicinal value to
(23:34):
incorporate as part of your diet, because when you eat
superfruits and get the nutrients and the polyphenals and all
the other chemistry within them, your health benefits. Have you
heard of aronia berry? Aronia berries are considered the king
of superfruits because they're rich in nutrients and antioxidants. Aronia
berries contain phenolic compounds which naturally help the plant resist
(23:58):
disease and premature death. And so when you eat aronia
berries when they're ingested by humans, they have been shown
to provide anti inflammatory properties in humans and may help
prevent and treat a variety of illnesses. I'm talking about
everything from diabetes to cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, liver disease,
metabolic problems, even the Big Sea. It is worthy to
(24:20):
note also that scientific studies have proven and subsequently published
in peer review scientific journals, that two of aronia berries
two of the effects. Many of the health giving compounds
in there can also help to combat the flu, so
they're eating a ronia berry would be anti influenza, anti flu.
(24:42):
Now you can eat ronia berries and start off slow.
I was reminded by a caller recently, you might want
not want to start off eating a whole bowl of
those that be in the bathroom. A lot some people
that has an effect on them that way, and that's true,
A lot of fruits would do that. But there's also
a more cost effective way, a convenient way to get
(25:02):
the value of ronia berries by taking a nutritional supplement
called Erronia Berry Complex by Terry Naturally Vitamins. Stuff's amazing
Aronia berry extract AB forty is in this formula in
these supplements which delivers a concentrated and consistent source of
(25:22):
this amazing superfruit into your body. Additionally, the Ronia Barry
Complex by Terry Naturally Vitamins includes French grape seed Extract
VX one grape seed extract, an incredible effective botanical for
strong heart muscle function, arterial protection, and healthy blood pressure
levels and cholesterol balance. So look for Ronia berry complex
(25:48):
at Finer Health Food stores nationwide, or go to Terry
Naturally Vitamins dot com or call the company directly for
more information at eight sixty six five ninety eight five
four eight seven for Aronia Very Complex by Terry Naturally Vitamins.
All right, now, let's get back to the results or
(26:09):
what the results of the cosmetic surgeon who did the
assessment on whether or not Vice President Kamala Harris, President
Joe Biden, and former President Donald Trump had any cosmetic
procedures done in his opinion, by looking at hundreds and
hundreds of pictures and investigating this doctor Linove, a cosmetic
(26:34):
surgery pretty much has concluded that Vice President Kamala Harris
is all nature out pretty much, no facelifts, no fillers,
no botox. But what about our current president Joe Biden.
Oh boy, I don't have to even tell you what
I mean. You can probably imagine you've seen it. Over
(26:54):
the years. He's had a lot of work done, Joe Biden,
a lot of work. And that's in sharp contrast to
his vice president, President Biden. This surgeon is speculating that
has had a lot of face work done. In fact,
has had a face lift. And I know he has
(27:15):
because I can always tell by the eyes when you
have facelifts. Unless you really get lucky, your eyes are
totally miffed for the rest of your life. Now you
might be saying, okay, well, that's better than the wrinkles.
I'll look like, you know, a little stranger, a little
alien like. But as long as I don't have those
huge wrinkles alongside my eyes so that I don't feel
like i'm aging that, I'm okay with that. And I
(27:38):
guess Joe's okay with it too, President Biden, that is
now he also the good surgeon. Doctor Linkov also believes
not only did he have a facelift, but he had
a brow lift, and he also had fillers, and we
all know that he's had multiple hair transplants. I remember
(28:01):
the late Great Rush Limbaugh used to refer to President
Joe Biden as plugs for meaning he had hair plugs,
meaning transfer of hair from the back of the head
down low or the sides to the top of his head. Anyway, Okay,
(28:25):
so we moved from there. So he's had a lot
of work done. I can see that I don't have
to be a cosmetic surgeon. But what about former President
Donald Trump? According to doctor lin Cove. He says Donald
Trump also appeared to be young for his age. This
(28:45):
may have been aided by the cosmetic work he is
rumored to have undergone, though Former President Donald Trump denies
ever having any work done. Now, the good doctor said,
and I quote with Trump. Clearly his hair had some
work done, like micro grafting, hair transplants, but the rest
(29:08):
of his face hasn't. He hasn't had a facelift. He
is older now, but he definitely does not appear but
he definitely does appear to be youthful for his years.
So that's his assessment. Former President Donald Trump no cosmetic
(29:31):
procedures as in facelifts, et cetera. Joe Biden, President Joe Biden,
tons of work done, face, hair, you name it, he's
had it. And Vice President Kabala Harris not much, pretty
much allmaturrell as it relates to cosmetic procedures in the
face area. Now there you have it for whatever it's worth.
(29:55):
You're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
So I'm a bush of this number simon.
Speaker 5 (30:20):
The one never single.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
A I Hi, welcome you or welcome you back to
this hour The Doctor Bob Martinshall. Thank you so very
much for tuning into the program today. I almost forgot
to mention this hour. We have another health poll going
on on my website. Would love to get your opinion
of it, because your opinion matters to us. You can
(30:47):
go over to doctor bob dot com spelling out the
word doctor and voting on this health poll question, would
you give up your favorite snack to avoid the risk
of cancer? Yes or no? We're hearing now in the
news all these highly processed foods, with all these artificial
coloring agents, and these these weird fats and everything have
(31:11):
the potential long term to cause cancer and other diseases.
Think about your favorite snack, just for a moment, your
favorite snack in the world you absolutely enjoy and you
consume it on a regular basis. And then I'm gonna
ask you the question, would you give up your favorite
snack if you could avoid the risk of cancer? Yes
(31:36):
or no? On that you can please vote on my
website at doctor bob dot com spelling out the word doctor.
Doct o r bob dot com. All right, now, we're
gonna go to work with your telephone calls and questions here,
and it's very simple. You're gonna hear callers ask questions
about their health and I'm going to respond to that.
(31:58):
And when you hear that, it's it's that same for
you as well. You simply call our caller hotline phone
number and you'll hear me answer the phone. I'm going
to ask you to state your first name, the city
and state you're residing in, and then your question. It's
that simple, war your comment, keep it brief. Revityes appreciated
(32:21):
so and the number is eight hundred six zero six
eight eight two two eight hundred six zero six eighty
eight two two one eight hundred six zero six eighty
eight twenty two. Here we go. First up is Luetta
calling in from Maryon, Iowa.
Speaker 6 (32:39):
First of all, thank you so much for your show.
I have learned so much, so grateful there's somebody out
there showing us natural ways to get better. My name
is Luetta. I am from Marion, Iowa. And my question
is I have a friend who is diagnosed two years
ago with MS. What to do because nothing that pharmaceuticals
(33:04):
do help she just continues to get worse. So thank
you and thank you again for your hard work in
helping all of us to achieve better health.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
All right, Lueta, thank you so much for your call
in your very concomments. Yes, there's not a whole lot
can be done for MS in a medical setting. In fact,
if they're usually treated in a medical setting, they get
worse for these autoimmune diseases like MS, A demilinating spinal situation,
nerve demilating nerve condition. Well, first of all, we know
(33:36):
that most MS patients, because I've treated my fair share
of them, are deficient in vitamin D vitamin D. She
needs to be tested for vitamin D deficiency, simple inexpensive
blood tests, twenty five hydroxy vitamin D and then supplement
the vitamin D appropriately. Studies show that people who get
sunlight in certain areas of the world have less proneness
(33:59):
toward multiple sclerosis. In fact, they look at the northern
climates and they see more multiple sclerosis. So I'm betting
she has a big time vitamin D deficiency and needs it.
But let's get her tested. Also, I've seen because I've
treated MS patients, if she has breast implants. I had
one of my patients who had breast implants and she
(34:21):
mimicked symptoms of MS. I sent her over to MAO clinic,
they did an autoantibody test for these elements that are
in these breast implants, the gel that's in there, the silicone,
and sure enough she was positive and had to have
her breast implants removed and immediately her MS symptoms went away. Also,
(34:44):
people who have mercury fillings, dental fillings, those silver dental
fillings that can also cause MS like symptoms, in other words,
toxins in the body. So she needs to get to
a doctor who's completely aware of integrative meta functional medicine
who can test her for toxic metals mercury, aluminum, cadmium, nickel,
(35:06):
and other elements to help understand if she's full of that,
and then how to get them out of her body.
And there are ways to detoxify those chemicals out of
her body and those toxins. The other thing that we
have found with multiple sclerosis patients when we do comprehensive
digestive testing on them, many of them will also have
(35:29):
gut problems. They have what we call leaky gut or
hyper gut permeability where they've taken antibiotics sometime in their
life or they were on other medications that damage their
intestinal lining. Their brush border, and now they're getting whole
foods straight into the body, creating an immune type reaction,
(35:53):
toxins into the body because of the tiny little pinholes
that are poked into the gastro intessel track. With ibuprofile an, aspirin,
a leave and all the other drugs, antibiotics and many
many drugs destroy that barrier, that all important barrier, which
is where the immune system resides seventy percent of it.
There's also the possibility of somebody with MS or multiple
(36:15):
sclerosis they have gluten intolerance. Gluten is a protein peptide
that is in grains like wheat and rye and barley,
and she may have a problem with glyadin sensitivity or
gluten or seliac disease that needs to be tested for
as well. Somewhere along the line we're going to with
(36:38):
these autoimmune conditions MS and rheumatary arthritis go right down
the line. They have chronic infections going on. I would
also not eliminate the possibility of a root canal, a
dental root canal, chronic infection that needs to be looked
at by a biological dentist as well. All right, thank
you for calling lout on her behalf. I'm doctor Bob Martin.
(37:10):
All right, Doctor Bob Martin' back with you. Thank you
so very much for tuning into the program. And as
you heard, the last caller into the program, Lueta from Mary, Iowa,
called in to our Doctor Bob Martin's show caller hotline
and asked a question on behalf of somebody else that's
fantastic good for her. You may have friends or family
(37:32):
members or co workers in your life. Maybe your health
is excellent, and I'm glad of that. But if you've
got somebody in your life that's not doing so good

Speaker 5 (38:48):
My name's Rick. I'm from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Very good show.
I learned a lot from it. I currently been diagnosed.
They did a test. I have an environmental fungus in
my sinuses. In the process of that whole thing. They
want to do now a surgery to open the airwaves
(39:17):
in my sinuses a nos. And I'm just wondering. I
have been taking I was using the rescue at Clear
just recently, but you know, I think that affects something else.
I just want to know what your thoughts are as
far as having the surgery.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
All right, Thank you, Rick, and thank you for your
phone call. Rick. Stick with the Clear Rescue nasal spray.
If you've got this chronic problem, it's been there a
long time. It's not going to go way overnight. There
are biocytal agents in this spray capable of killing the
fungus and the mold that's in your sinuses. Most likely,
a surgery like this is usually disastrous. I do not
recommend it, but that's your choice. You must also stop
(40:01):
eating all sugar and all dairy products. No alcohol, chocolate,
desserts of any type, soda pop. These are all things
that will fuel the fungus and yeast infection. No smoking.
Make sure your air filters in your homer clean get
a HEP filter system in the house. As far as
supplementing internally, you need to take caprillic acid supplements, caprillic
(40:24):
acid supplements, coyola garlic. I would take two tablespoons of
age garlic extract coyolic three times a day. You need
doctor Ohiras probiotics. Use a reganol grape seed grapefruit seed
extract twenty drops in a glass of water three times
a day, and just be patient. Over time. Once you
(40:45):
kill the fungus and the mold and the zinus, things
are going to get better. My friend, I'm doctor Bob Martin,
