(00:52):
eighty eight twenty two. That's eight hundred six zero six
eighty eight twenty two. It's the Doctor Bob Martin myself.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Ask not what your doctor can do for you, ask
what you can do for yourself. Welcome to this hour
of the Doctor Bob Martsin Show. I'm Doctor Bob, and
you really can be your own best doctor most of
the time, and I'll tell you how. Thank you so

(01:24):
very much for tuning into the program today. We have
a terrific show on tap for you today. Stick around
for the entirety of the program because your health, your
future is going to benefit by it greatly if you
become your own best doctor most of the time, and
it is easy to do and it is so necessary

(01:47):
in these troubling times that we are in. I recently
heard a audio tape of an interview that went on
or occurred on the Joe Rogan Experience Show where Joe
was interviewing a doctor by the name of doctor Ksey Means.

(02:10):
Doctor Casey Means, MD a Stanford trained physician, chief medical
officer and co founder of metabolic Health company Levels and
associate editor of the International Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention. Now.

(02:31):
Doctor carry Means, MD is on a mission to maximize
human potential and reverse the epidemic of preventable chronic diseases
by empowering individuals to take charge of their health basically
to understand what's going on in their lives, dietarily and

(02:56):
with their lifestyle choices, pretty much on the same level
that this rate program is dedicated to. I might add,
she is also the author of the number one New
York Times bestseller book entitled Good Energy, The Surprising Connection
between Metabolism and Limitless Health. Now, Ladies and gentlemen, as

(03:21):
I was listening to the interview, Joe Rogan was sitting
back just listening to this doctor. Doctor Casey means a female,
and he was just in awe of the facts and
figures that she was putting out, which I will share
with you today. And it's pretty scary stuff. But it's

(03:43):
necessary to hear this because in America our health is
in decline big time. And all you have to do
is just read anything and find out that we spend
the most on sick care mostly and we we get
the least when they compare other industrialized countries. And I

(04:06):
have stated this on this program many times. When they
compare let's say a dozen different countries and throw the
United States into that dozen, we rank on the very bottom,
spending the most, getting the least. Longevity is suffering. Our

(04:30):
health is suffering in general. We have chronic health problems
across the board, and we're doing little or nothing about it,
mostly because we don't have a true health care system.
We have a sick care management system predicated upon fixing
stuff after it's broken and not before, and that is

(04:52):
not sustainable. It cannot continue. And this is why I
continue to implore you to take charge of your own
health and not wait for your doctor to show up
like Santa Claus at the end when you break down
and then think there's going to be some heroic measure
that's going to bring you back and you're going to

(05:12):
be whole again and just as good as the day
you were born. Now, it doesn't happen that way. You
know this, but yet we continue on. Most people, however,
are unaware of how to get started, and hopefully this
show will add to your repertoire of knowledge and how
to get started on a path. First, you have to

(05:34):
realize there's a problem, and there's a big problem in
American conventional medicine system does nothing to address it. Oh yeah,
there's a there's a lot of lip service and a
lot of you know, promises, but never any delivery. We

(05:54):
don't improve our health. It just keeps getting worse. This
is and of course doctor Casey me MD from Stanford,
is a physician, is brave enough to come out and
talk about it, to lay it out there, and you'll
hear in this interview that's coming up this hour what
she has to say. Now, she talks very fast because
she's a highly intelligent person and almost sounding like she's

(06:20):
like before the interview odid on caffeine. But that's just
the way her brain operates. But if you listen very carefully,
what you're going to hear are some really dramatic facts
and figures that you should know about, not to scare you,
not to frighten you, but rather for you to get
a reality check and realize how very important it is

(06:45):
to be your own best doctor. Most of the time,
you can do this. It's doable with a little bit
of effort. Now, doctor Casey means MD talks about how
we are getting destroyed, and of course it's very recent,
at least in her mind, even though it's been going

(07:06):
on quite a while, but it's accelerating. She points that
out seventy four percent of Americans today are overweight or obese.
Seventy four percent. These stats are fact checked, they're real,
they occur, they're happening, getting worse all the time, and

(07:26):
there's absolutely nothing that mainstream, conventional AMA style medicine is
doing anything about it. Because it indicates when people get sick,
it's bank time. It's chiching time for the disease care
system that just manages it with either drugs or surgery
and does very little to prevent it planned ubsolescence for

(07:51):
human beings. That doesn't end well, folks. She also talks
about in this interview, and you will hear this coming up,
how young adult cancers are going up by seventy nine
percent over the last ten years. Think about that, people,
young people getting cancer an unprecedented level, seventy nine percent

(08:17):
up in the last ten years. She points out that
twenty five percent of men under the age of forty
not over under the age of forty now have a
rectile disfunction. What what I'm talking about a very school
very learned, very brilliant physician who is not afraid to

(08:41):
call it like it is. And boy do I get
props to Casey means MD. And when you hear what
she has to say, I think it's going to get
your attention. I hope it gets your attention. I hope it.
It's not designed to scare you. It's just the reality
check into hopefully to motivate you to confirm what you

(09:03):
probably already know there's something wrong with this system we
have and why we continue to see it spiral downward
and nobody's doing anything about it. So you have to
take charge of that. And it's not that hard, it's
not that difficult. It's it's pretty easy, actually, And of
course getting a copy of her book would be a
good start, or some of the other authors of books

(09:24):
we talk about here on this radio show. Now after
Casey Means in this interview with Joe Rogan, who goes
on to say, fifty percent now of American adults have
type two diabetes or pre diabetes. Fifty percent of all
American adults either have pre diabetes, which means they're on

(09:45):
their way they're on a fast track two diabetes type two,
or they already have it, they've already been diagnosed with it.
I mean, these were diseases folks were like one percent
of Americans in nineteen fifty one percent. Now we're at
fifty percent. What in the heck Alzheimer's disease going through

(10:09):
the roof, they're seeing young adults with dementias now they've
been on the increase. One in two Americans are expected
to have cancer in their lifetime now just unbelievable. The
rates of diseases across the board are just skyrocketing. Autoimmune diseases,

(10:34):
heart disease, and these are preventable diseases we have control
over there. This is not about your parents or your
genetics that plays a minuscule role in your health today
into the future. Stick around, we're gonna talk more about
this and play for you. Her interview with Joe Rogan.
I'm doctor Bob Martin.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Welcome control now week evenson, now we don't.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Do well, can't figured it out? By now you've entered
a healing zone. We're in special. People tune into this
radio health talk show each week to learn about the
latest news about health and wellness, but most importantly, how
to get healthy and how to stay healthy naturally. It's

(11:30):
within our ability to do. Welcome or welcome back to
the program. I'm doctor Bob Martin, the host of the show,
and this show is all about helping you to become
independently healthy as it was meant to be, as opposed
to dependently sick, which way too many Americans are today.

(11:50):
This is your opportunity, your chance to resurrect your good
health safely and naturally by seeking out the information you
need and then putting it into action. That's what this
show is about, putting it into action. You can be
your own best doctor most of the time if you
choose to be. Now, if you're just tuning. In the
first segment of the program, I talked about doctor Casey Means,

(12:14):
MD from Stanford University trained physician surgeon. She's finally speaking out,
as is many other brave providers about the mess we
are in in the sick care system we have in
the United States and how something needs to change really
fast in order to write this ship if you will,

(12:37):
related to health, because there are way too many people
getting sick, way too soon, in an unprecedented fashion manner.
It's unbelievable what's going on. I think some of you
are aware of it. You're doing something about it. You're
taking charge of your health. You're becoming your own best
doctor most of the time. Good for you. Don't wait
around and tell stuff breaks before you fix it. That's

(12:58):
very hard to manage, and it's expensive and your quality
of life not good. Now we're going to get to
that interview. I want to play for you an audio
interview of doctor Casey Means, MD. With Joe Rogan momentarily.
But I also want to remind you that there is

(13:19):
a free lunch out there. Well. A lot of people
say there's nothing free in life. You might be wrong
about that. You may have to redefine that one, especially
thanks to the good folks over at Waku Naga of America,
the makers of a wide variety of quality nutritional supplements,
offering Doctor Bob Martin listeners because somebody ordered way too

(13:43):
many of the nutritional supplement samples and now they are overstocked.
And they called me up a while back and said,
doctor Bob, do you think your listeners would like to
get some free nutritional supplements? I said, heck yes, can
you throw in some money saving coupon? They said, uh huh,
so we're off and running. Here if you would like

(14:04):
to receive free Kyolic supplements for either their cardiovascular health formula,
their immune support formula who doesn't need more immune support right,
or their stress and fatigue formula in these trying times.
If you want to get one or more of those samples,

(14:27):
all you have to do is go over to their website,
log on and ask for it. Here's their site Kyolic
dot com. Forward slash Radio that's ky Lic dot com
Forward Slash Radio to request your free nutritional supplements and

(14:49):
money saving coupons. No obligation whatsoever. By the way, you're
gonna be harangued or bugged by anybody or none of
that is. It's just they're getting rid of stock that
was over ordered and you're going to be the recipient
of it. So you're gonna have to change that up.
Nothing free in life, wrong wrong again. Go to Kyolic

(15:13):
Kyo l i C dot com forwards Last Radio to
request your free supplements. They'll ask you to verify that
you're a doctor Bob Martin Show listener to check the
box Doctor Bob Martin Show. That way they know you're
not some random landing on their site looking for free
chicken dinners and new cars. They'll give it to you

(15:34):
the nutritional supplements. That is all right. We are talking
about a change that's needed to be made. Doctor Casey
means MPD stand for trained physician is alerting people, and
other doctors are doing the same. But I found her
interview with Joe Rogan so informative, and I want you
to listen very carefully to what this renowned medical doctor

(15:58):
and author has to say, say, go.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
We are getting destroyed, and it's very recent and it's accelerating.
The stats speak for themselves, you know, you know this
very well. Seventy four percent of Americans are overweight or obese.
Fifty percent now of American adults have type two diabetes
or pre diabetes. These were diseases where there was one
percent of Americans in nineteen fifty head type diabetes. Now
it's fifty percent of Americans have pre diabetes or type

(16:23):
two diabetes. Alzheimer's dementia are going through the roof young
adult dementias have increased like three times since twenty twelve,
so early on at dementia's we're seeing, you know this.
One in two Americans are expected to have cancer in
their lifetime now one in two, and young adult cancers
are going up seventy nine percent in the last ten

(16:43):
years we've got. Of course, the autism's rates are absolutely astronomical.
One in thirty six children has autism now in the
United States. That was one in one fifty in the
year two thousand and in California where I live, it's
one in twenty two, one in twenty two with a
lifetime neurodevelopmental disorder. We've got in for tility going to
have one percent for year. Twenty five percent of men

(17:03):
now under forty have a rectile dysfunction, a quarner of
the country. You know, this is fundamentally a metabolic disease.
We've got seventy seven percent of young Americans can't serve
in the military because of obese, deear, drug abuse. We've
got we've got autoimmune diseases. Some studies are saying they're
going up thirteen percent per year. It's just it's it's

(17:24):
really unbelievable, and I could go through so many more diseases.
Of course, we've got heart disease, which is almost totally preventable,
as the leading cause of death the United States, killing
around eight hundred thousand people per year. And I think
what as I kind of just looked around and again,
these are just statistics. I started trying to put the
pieces together. Why is this happening? Why are these all

(17:47):
going up all at once? And that led me on
what is now a seven eight year journey, ultimately leaving
the surgical world, putting down my scalpel forever, because what
I realized is that when you go to the science
with a root cause perspective. You go back to cub
med with a slightly different perspective, not how do I
treat these diseases once they emerge? But why are they happening?
You see a very obvious, blaring answer, which is why

(18:09):
we had to write a book about it, which is
that it's all caused by metabolic dysfunction, a term that
I never learned in medical school. I learned about metabolic
syndrome and the different individual diseases that make it up.
But there is a problem. There is a fundamental breaking
of our core cellular biology that is caused by our
diet and the world we're living in the modern world

(18:30):
we're living in today that is crushing the very way
that the human body and our human cells can transmit
food energy to life energy, to cellular energy, and so
our bodies are essentially I mean fundamentally because metabolic health
is how we make energy in the body, the way
that our environment is now synergistic to use storing our

(18:53):
metabolic health. And the science is very clear about this.
It's basically like all of us are a little bit
dead while alive. That's what metabolic dysfunction is. It's less
energy in the body. We're underpowered, and that's very dark.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
You're listening there too, Doctor Casey means a medical doctor
trained at Stanford University. Just a brilliant lady. Author of
a new book. You might want to check into that
a New York Times bestseller entitled Good Energy, The Surprising
Connection between Metabolism and Limitless Health. And as she pointed

(19:30):
out her deficiency in her training as a medical physician,
it happens, folks. You know, we have such a concept,
an ill advised concept, that doctors are God's and that
they can cure us when we break down. Couldn't be
further from the truth. Doctors don't heal anything. You heal yourself,

(19:54):
but you cannot heal yourself if something's interfering with that
ability too yourself, she points out, and focuses on diet
and how the food system in the United States is
absolutely corrupt, that the giant food makers are doing everything
they can to make the food nutritionless, so that we

(20:16):
are hungry. We don't get the nutrients we eat, so
we need for our bodies to run efficiently so we
eat more of it. And those diseases that are food
born are now crop it up everywhere. I want to
add to her complaints. We don't exercise enough, we're too sedentary,
and we're under tons of stress. You add those up,

(20:39):
it's a recipe for disaster. We need to turn that around.
We'll discuss this further after the break. Stay with us.
You are tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show. Are

(21:00):
you waiting on a line? Next, Jake? Are you waiting
for the perfect night?

Speaker 3 (21:07):
How are you waiting to.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
The time is night by wah?

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Don't you want to learn to deal with Don't you
want to take the wheeldest stan?

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Don't you beat another man?

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Why? Wait?

Speaker 2 (21:25):
Why are you waiting? Fu Well? You're happen to be
tuned into the largest and longest airing radio health talk
show in America. And I want to tell you who's
responsible for that. That would be largely you. Because you
continue to tell other people about this radio show. They
start tuning in, and they tell other people, and we grow.

(21:49):
We all win with the knowledge and information that we
bring to the table here. That's what it's all about.
Helping you help yourself, becoming your own best doctor, most
of the time, taking responsibility for your health rather than
waiting until you break down and then hope that some
other human being can put you back together, like Humpty

(22:12):
Dumpty falling off the wall, and then hopefully somebody can
put them back together again. When you have a heart attack,
or you have cancer or diabetes or Alzheimer's, it's kind
of hard to come back from that chronic stuff because
usually those things have been simmering for decades, and that
breakdown does not turn around overnight. It's so much easier

(22:33):
to maintain it. Just like your automobile. If you don't
take care of your automobile, it's going to be an
expensive event when it breaks down, and you may be
stuck in the boonies too. On top of that, out
in the dark, nobody wants that. We'll get back to
the conversation regarding doctor Casey means Stanford physicians speaking out

(22:54):
now about how we have a major problem in the
United States with our healthcare, which is no surprise. If
you've been listening to this radio show for any amount
of time, you know this. She just confirming it, and
that's a good thing. Now, we're also going to a
little bit later in the hour get to your telephone
calls and questions on the topic. Of health. We do
have a caller hotline, the Doctor Bob March and Caller hotline.

(23:18):
You should have this number for safekeeping in case you
need it someday, in case you have a personal health
problem and you'd like help at someone else's expense. In
other words, free ninety nine. You can call this number
and ask a question. I'll be answering the phone. You'll
hear me ask you to give your first name, only

(23:40):
the city and state which you're calling from, and then
state your question. Or if you have a health related comment,
you can do that as well. We appreciate brevity in
your question or comment, making it fair for everyone else
trying to get onto the air. Here's that number for safekeeping. Now.
If you don't need it right now, excellent. But if

(24:02):
you've got somebody in your family I loved on, a
sick loved one, or a friend or a coworker neighbor,
they need it, pass it on to them. The phone
number to call into them and get a health question
on the air and answered by yours truly is eight
hundred six zero six eight eight two two. Eight hundred

(24:22):
six zero six eight eight two two gets you on
the air with your health question. I'm going to answer
for you at no expense one eight hundred six zero
six eight eight two to two. And of course, my
website where you can stay in touch with yours truly
always doctor bob dot com. You got to spell out
the word doctor there, d oct o, r Bob dot com.

(24:44):
That's where the podcast library lives, past shows. It's where
you can follow me on the social media platforms of Instagram,
x LinkedIn. A lot of news we post up there
from around the globe that I personally select, so if
you ever need health related news, it's all there too.
Now we're going to get back to that conversation that

(25:05):
we started with doctor Casey Means and her pointing out
the dilemma from a medical perspective that we need to
get turned around. But you know, healthcare started to turn
around in the United States when we started to pay
attention to hygiene. Hygiene and sanitation is where we win
the battle from the beginning. That's preventive hygiene, sanitation that's

(25:28):
probably saved more lives than any part of what we've
ever done. Clean up the streets, get the rats out,
chlorinated water, anything like that will help to reduce disease risk.
And also we encourage everybody that listens to this program
to have a hygienic oral cavity. Yes, the hygiene of

(25:51):
your body begins in your oral cavity, your mouth, other
people who refer to it as your pie hole, whatever
may be myself, my family, my colleagues, my wise healthcare colleagues.
We don't want tooth decay, we don't want gingivitis, we
don't want paradonal disease, we don't want bad breath, because

(26:12):
we know that it's more than just that. When you
have a hygienic problem in your oral cavity, it could
get into your heart, it can get into your brain.
Those infections can move through your bloodstream and affect other
areas that can affect your joints, your immune system, all
of that. And this is why we use a particular

(26:33):
and specific dental system to stop any hygienic problems associated
with the mouth, the oral cavity. It's called Spry Spry
Dental Defense System, Spry Dental Defense System, which is made
up of Spry toothpaste, Spry mouth rints, and if you

(26:55):
want to chew the Spry gum or the mint, you
can do that as well. Super for that is, nobody
wants to go to the dental provider. I mean, you
should go to your dental hygienist and your dentist periodically
for deep cleaning and examinations and all that, but you
never want to have a procedure done the drill. You
never want to have a root canal or an extraction

(27:15):
or a crown or anything filling. And that's why we
those of us who understand dental hygiene and what is
best to put in your oral cavity in terms of
toothpaste and mouthwash, we use Spry. Spry comes in delicious
flavors of peppermint, cinnamon, and spearmint. The secret sauce is
the xylotol that's in there, that it's plant based. Your

(27:36):
body makes a very very minuscule amount of it, but
you need more of it in order to protect yourself
from the germs that are happening in youural cavity and
also the carbohydrates that you're eating that eventually the germs
turn into damaging acids that eat your teeth away. This
can stop it cold without all the chemicals in those
regular tooth products on the market. Toity, I don't care

(27:59):
if it's mister Colgate or Theobrand or Remnat, it doesn't matter.
They all have chemicals that you don't need or want
in your body. Spray Dental Offense is available at CBS,
Right Aid, Target, vitamin shops, Sprouts Natural Groceries. You can
also find it on their website at Clear dot com,
x L e R dot com for spry s p

(28:21):
R Y the Dental Defense System. The stuff's amazing and
I wouldn't be without it for a single day. All right,
back to the conversation. You know, I remember interviewing an
individual by the name of Paul Stitt back in the
nineteen eighties. That sort of dates me, but that's okay.

(28:43):
I've been around for a little while and Paul Stitt
taught me some very important stuff. He's now passed me.
He's a food chemist and he worked for the some
of these food giants that are out there, Quaker Oats,
who else, tenecoh And he wrote a book called Fighting
the Food Giants. He eventually made a also put together

(29:07):
a bakery in Manitouwac, Wisconsin. Look up his book Fighting
the Food Giants, wherein he talked about how these food companies,
these big food conglomerates. All they do is sit there
in the boardroom trying to figure out how they can
move make food nutritionless, just calories only so that people

(29:27):
get hungry and eat more of their food. And when
he objected to that, they got rid of him. Then
he wrote a book, Fighting the Food Giants. You should
get it. Paul Stitt, STI T T. The book is
still available. Paul Stitt, the author Fighting the Food Giants.
It's amazing. When we come back, I want to talk
about the leaders of our country and those to be

(29:51):
perhaps that need to be setting better examples. I'm doctor
Bob Martin, so.

Speaker 5 (30:12):
I'm a bush of this number simcible they have when
never single minds up, I don't.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Today.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Well, you're happen to be tuned into the doctor Bob
Martin show. I'm doctor Bob here in the capacity of
helping you with your most precious possession, your health. With health,
you have everything. Health is wealth. Without it, you have nothing.
It doesn't matter how many material toys you have, how
much money you have in the bank, you're bankrupt if
you don't have health. We're trying to get you very

(30:56):
wealthy by pumping it up in terms of your knowledge
and information about health, so you can take charge of
your health and not lose your most precious possession or
have to scramble to try to deal with it in
a crisis manner. So much easier to maintain health than
it is to break fix it after it's already broken. Now,
I've been talking about doctor Casey Means, who was recently

(31:18):
on the Joe Rogan Show talking about the dilemma we have.
She is a medical doctor, Stanford trained physician, speaking out
about the system that is broken and how the medical
system is doing absolutely nothing to change it. That's how
we got here. You'd think that we would have a
healthcare system. We do not. We have a disease management
system that is predicated upon keeping people under the care

(31:41):
of drugs and surgery when necessary, not preventing it. We
do a lot of lip service and skirting around about it,
but we never really motivate anybody to stay healthy in
the first place. We just don't do it. It's not there.
There's too much gold in them thar ills. As we say,
and as I was speaking in the last segment, I

(32:03):
brought up a guest that I had interviewed a number
of times years and years ago a Paul Stitt. He
was a chemist. He worked for some giant chemistry companies
and food giants, and he was so fed up and
so frustrated and so appalled by these food giants that
in the boardrooms he used to sit in the boardrooms

(32:25):
and all they could do is to try to figure
out how to make the food less nutritious, so people
ate more of it because they didn't have their nutritional
needs met. So they kept eating and they ate more
of the food to get the nutrients that they were missing,
and all they did is get obese, added weight, and
became disease written. And he got fed up with it.

(32:46):
He was in the boardroom saying, look, no, we need
to put more nutrition in the food, not less of it,
more of it so that people feel satisfied and satiated
and they get what they need to repair their bodies.
And they said, nothing doing that. If we do that,
Paul will don't sell as many of our products. So
he left the company, left these big giant companies he

(33:06):
was consulting for and working for, wrote a book called
Fighting the Food Giants. Get a copy of that, Paul Stitt,
st T, I think you can get it on Amazon still,
and he taught me a lot. He opened my eyes
in a big way in the nineteen eighties and I've
been squawking ever since about it. Well, look, we as

(33:29):
people who are out here on the front fighting line,
should be doing everything we can to help people out
and steer them in the right direction so that they
can get well themselves and become their own best doctors.
But when you have figureheads and politicians in the out
there telling people and showing them the wrong stuff, it

(33:52):
has an effect not good. I mean, I've talked about
presidential candidates in the past and presidents who are in
the limelight of the public eye and doing things, and
people will emulate what they're doing because they think it's
cool or they think it's the right thing to do.
Let's just take a current president, Joe Biden. The guy's

(34:14):
an ice cream addict, and he's on a whole slew
of drugs, of medical drugs for all kinds of health
related problems. So he promotes the dairy industry in a
big way. And every once in a while, who cares,
you know, hes have some ice cream, but the guy's call,
he's pretty much eating eating it every single day. And
what's that tell people ice cream is good for you.

(34:35):
It's not, folks, It's not good for you unless it
is ice cream that comes from let's say, coconut or
some other source other than one that's laden full of
sugar and dairy and other junk in the system. That's
gonna muck up your body function. So there you have
an example. You have also former President Donald Trump. What's
he like? Diet Cox? He lives on him? What's he

(34:57):
I read an article he was drinking like twelve or
fifteen of diet Cox a day with the artificial sweeteners
in it that cause all kinds of excitotoxins to happen
in the brain, I mean. And then McDonald's he loves McDonald's.
He shows pictures of him on Air Force One eating McDonald's.
Come on, what's wrong with this? What kind of message

(35:18):
did that send out to the youth in America? And
then you've got Vice President Kamala Harris being interviewed talking
about what is your favorite food? Vice President Harris, Oh,
I like nacho cheese, Doritos, chocolate chip cookies. Yum. Come on, yeah,

(35:41):
once you can have that stuff. The flesh is weak.
Things happen once in a while, But you give the
impression to young people that that is what you live on,
that's what you take in, that's what sustains the health
of your body, which is the wrong stuff, the wrong messaging.
I could go on and on, I could go on
and on with that kind of idea and getting into

(36:06):
the eyes and the ears of young people growing up
and them looking at that going hmmm, Dorito's cheese nachos.
Do you ever read some of the side effects in
their monasodium glutamate, artificial everything. I mean, that couldn't sustain
a rat for very long if they ate it on
a regular basis, And a lot of people they ode
on those things. They don't know where to stop when

(36:27):
to stop. Once in a while, no big deal, But
that's not the message going out. Every time you see
President Joe Biden, he's got an ice cream cone licking
on it. And when you see dropping Dia Coker. But
McDonald's right on airplane, unbelievable. Not good messaging in my opinion.
We'll come back with a short telephone call as we

(36:50):
end the hour. They were going to go full bore
on calls next hour. Stay with us, it's the Doctor
Bob Martin Show, What's Wrong with Gin? What's wrong with Gin?

com spelling out the word doctor. All right, here we go.
First up is Mary in Lake Havasoux City, Arizona.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Hi, this is Marty and I am from Lake Havascoux City, Arizona.
My question is my husband is taking Gabma pitton for
the numbness in his hand, and I'm looking for an
alternative to that drug. Thank you so much, love your show.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
Thanks bye, thank you, Thank you very much. Marty. Sorry
for messing up your name there. Marty from Lake Havasu City, Arizona,
calling on behalf of her husband, which is really super
having tub with paristhesi or numbness in his hands, both
sides taking a medical drug Gaba penton, which is often
given for seizures epilepsy, but they use it also now

(39:12):
for neuropathy and numbness and tingling and all that sort
of stuff. It doesn't work. It has so many side
effects too, including suicidality, which means some people, not everybody.
It's a rare thing, but it happens, you take it,
you want to kill yourself, and there's so many side
effects and it doesn't work when you have numbness like that.

(39:33):
The first thing that your husband needs to do is
find out if the nerves to his hands coming through
his upper neck, lower neck, and upper back are being
impinged by spinal misalignment or what is called subluxation. He
should find a licensed chiropractic physician in Lake Havasu City
to examine him and possibly X ray him to find

(39:56):
out if the care is needed for his neck and back.
It's the number one cause of numbness in the hands
of any sort is spinal misalignment, and a chiropractic physician
is the doctor of choice. Now, it certainly can be diabetes.
Most diabetics, though with numbness and neuropathy, begin in the feet,
not in the hands. That's why I suspect this is
a spinal problem, not a sugar problem, and so they're

(40:19):
treating with gamma pedant, which does hardly anything for it.
I would suggest just to give the nerves some food,
take alphai poic acid, vitamin B one, ali diamin, methyl cobalaman,
and form of b twelve. Get started on those things,
just in case it's a neuropathic issue. Thank you for

(40:40):
your phone call, Marty. All right, I want you to
stay tuned. You are tuned into The Doctor Bob Martin Show.
