become your own best doctor most of the time with
the proper information and knowledge that we impart here each

program today. We've got a special guest coming up a
little bit later in the show. I'm going to introduce

(01:50):
you to on a very important topic, so we'll stick
around for that, but we begin this hour with a
very troubling announcement regarding a common asthma drug that's been
on the market for oh my gosh, twenty six years.
That drug is called singular Air. You may have heard

(02:10):
of this. Nearly thirty four million people in the US
have asthma. That's about what one in ten people are
so approximately thirty million people, wow, and a lot of
children have asthma and are having trouble. This particular drug
has been out there for a long long time and

(02:31):
it's creating major problems as in helping to turn people
into suicidal thoughts and psychotic images and various other problems
they're having not only that this drug I'm talking about
here that was FDA approved that millions of people were
taking today still can cause not only people to turn

(02:56):
to suicide and think psychotically, but also it can cause
everything from diarrhea to agitation, to anxiety, hallucination, fever, cough, depression, insomnia, tremor,
can I go on, confusion, memory problems, sinu side is, leapwalking, heartburn,
and muscle spasms. Potentially all of those can be caused

(03:16):
by this particular drug that's been out there and was
stamped okay safe and approved by the FDA twenty six
years ago. And so if you or somebody you know
is using this drug singular, a medical drug approved by
the FDA in nineteen ninety eight, you need to know
about these things. Singular the asthma drug is also prescribed

(03:40):
to not only to adults, but also children. Government backed
research found that the brand name singular there's another name
for it, but everybody knows it is singular. It attaches
apparently to cells in the brain that control mood, decision making, attention,
impulse control, and even sleep. This research was prompted by

(04:05):
thousands of tragic stories reported by families whose children were
taking Singular Over the years, there have been at least
and this is always underreported, of course, there have been
at least eighty two suicides linked to the drug Singular
for asthma that have been reported to the FDA's Adverse

(04:29):
Events Tracking a Drug System, and there are That's the
tip of the iceberg, though, I mean, we have also
to be concerned about people taking this drug developing symptoms
of depression they didn't have before taking it, anxiety, agitation, nightmares,

(04:49):
and full psychoses. The FDA added a black box label
to the drug way after the drug went into the
marketplace and people we're consuming it. That's, of course the
strictest warning that indicates that a drug can lead to
death or serious injury. This happened in March of twenty twenty,

(05:12):
and the FDA was urging doctors to communicate these risks
to patients. Well, it would have been nice to know
about that before the drug even entered the marketplace. It
got a stamp of approval. What did I tell you
twenty six years ago, nineteen ninety eight. Well, officials at
the time also initiated an investigation into the drug by

(05:32):
independent researchers. The findings from this investigation were just presented
by representatives from the FDA's National Center for Toxicologal Toxicological
Research at the American College of Toxicologies annual meeting just
last week. Now. They confirmed that these earlier complaints show

(05:57):
that some patients there and it is linked to the
drug and these psychiatric conditions. And currently the New York
Attorney General estimates that twelve million people take this asthma
drug called Singular, and over one and a half million

(06:18):
children take the drug. Prescriptions of Singular have remained steady
since the warning was added, and the FDA set it
does not plan to update the drug label based on
data from the presentation, which has yet to be released publicly.
And the researchers still aren't sure how exactly the drug

(06:39):
affects brain cells and leads to these psychiatric problems suicidality, psychoses.
But Julia Mars Gallenger, a researcher at the Department of
Neurology at Stanford set and I quote, it's definitely doing
something that's concerning, I'll say. A twenty seventeen analysis from Kiplinger,

(07:06):
a business forecasting company, suggested that the drug Singular, made
by Merk they earned. Listen to this, you're ready for this.
They earned fifty billion with a b fifty billion dollars
in sales since the drug came out of the market.
So you know, even if it causes people to generate

(07:30):
suicide and have all these adverse side effects and they
get sued for it, I mean, if you're making fifty
billion dollars and you may and you lose maybe some
millions of dollars in lawsuits, it's a win for the
pharmaceutical companies, but of course it's a major loss for
those people who are at risk taking these kinds of

(07:50):
drugs that were FDA stamped safe and approved for consumers,
which is scary on its face. In the early advertising,
get this, In the early advertising of this drug for
asthma that you take, I think it's once or twice
a day. Later in the day, the company said the

(08:11):
side effects were benign, they were similar to a sugar pill,
while the label said the effect on the brain was minimal.
Of course they're gonna say that that they want to
sell the drug, and the FDA bought it hook line
and sinker. This is how things happen. And then we
find out that these FDA officers get these cushy jobs

(08:33):
in government or some pharmaceutical company later on, especially in
the pharmaceutical companies. But by twenty nineteen, thousands and thousands
of reports of psychiatric episodes, including dozens of suicides in
patients prescribed the drug singular for asthma, had piled up
on Internet forums and in the FDA's Adverse Events Reporting

(08:57):
System FARS. This drug is farce. I think, Oh, I'm
sure it's helped some people, but at what risk and
what of their alternatives could have been utilized had we
known about this before it ever made its way into
the marketplace where human beings could consume it and be
exposed to these adverse side effects. I mean, asthma's a really,

(09:19):
really risky disease, and you don't want to mess around
with it, that's for sure. That is a problem when
you're not breathing well. But there are ways to help
one with asthma without having to go to drug therapy,
that's for sure. In fact, that's the reason I became
a doctor, because I struggled early and often in childhood

(09:43):
with asthma. And yes, my parents did everything they could
to help me out by taking me to doctors and
having drugs thrown at me and inhalent drugs and drugs
tablets that I swallowed and all of that. And I
was basically strung out on pharmaceuticals. I think for the
first probably thirteen fourteen years of my life, couldn't do

(10:07):
things because I was so messed up on those drugs.
Sure they might have helped with the asthma attacks, but man,
it was like crippling. Beyond that, there's lots you can
do to help people with asthma. You can find out
why why they're having the asthma attacks. There's many ways
to naturally prevent them from happening. Cleaning up the environment

(10:29):
might help, as in making sure the cat is not
in the house with the cat hair and the cat
dander that's a problem. Making sure you're chasing down the
food intolerance as their food allergies. Making sure somebody's getting
plenty of nutrients like vitamin DC, zinc methylated be complex,

(10:50):
managing stress. There's lots of ways to deal with asthma
beyond drugs. All right, we're coming up with our special guest.
I'm doctor Bob Mark.

is toll free nationwide eight hundred six zero six eight

eight twenty two. And of course, the website where all

(12:24):
Things health exists, including news from around the globe and
the podcast library at all the all the social media
platforms that I'm associated with. It's over there at doctor
bob dot com spelling out the word doctor doct r
bob dot com. All right, we're going to turn our
attention now to what everybody knows to be the silent

(12:46):
killer that we hear about related to health. And of course,
the silent killer is also known as high blood pressure
or hypertension. Yes, it continues to ravage the health of
millions of Americans, leaving them at risk of unwanted health
concerns such as heart disease, strokes, and other problems, especially disability.

(13:10):
Stunning as it may sound to you, nearly half of
Americans ages twenty and above, or more than one hundred
and twenty two million people, have high blood pressure or
pre hypertension. That according to a twenty twenty three report
from the American Heart Association. And even if your numbers
are normal right now, they are likely to increase as

(13:33):
you age. More than seventy five percent of Americans age
sixty five years of age and older have high blood pressure,
whether they know it or not, and the medical system
here in the US offers treatment and advice for high
blood pressure primarily centered on the management of high blood
pressure hypertension, the management via pharmaceutical drugs now corese drugs

(13:57):
do treat high blood pressure, then have and will continue
to do so, and some people do benefit from them.
Of course, However, what if there were ways to help
your blood pressure drug free? What if there were lifestyles
you could employ to reduce your blood pressure safely and naturally.

(14:18):
Many Americans are seeking safe and effective options to help
lower their blood pressure without having to take or use
risky pharmaceutical drugs that carry a long long list of
potential adverse side effects. Therefore, we have recruited a special
guest to join us today to talk about this very topic.
His name is Larry Logsdon. Larry is a functional food

(14:41):
researcher in chemist specializing in the medicinal and health giving
properties of exotic fruits. Larry found a Tahiti Trader in
nineteen ninety eight. Tahiti Trader manufacturers and distributes No Need
juices throughout the US and international. And with that let

(15:01):
us welcome our special guest, Larry Logston to the Doctor
Bob Martin Show.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
Good day to you, Larry, Oh, good morning, doctor Bob.
How are you today doing well.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Thank you for carving out some time for us. This
is a very important time, I think this time of
the year because we're leading into the holiday season and
people are a little stressed. Even though they shouldn't be,
they are, and things happen and they've got a lot
of obligation. I think this is the time of year
where people get caught off guard with issues like blood

(15:34):
pressure and the potential advers side effects of it. So
let's begin with that, Larry. That's what we're going to
try to do to help our listeners today, get them
focusing on their blood pressure and what they can do
to help themselves safely and naturally be their own best
doctors most of the time. Why is it important, first, Larry,
to maintain healthy blood pressure?

Speaker 5 (15:59):
Well, the main so that our body doesn't get damaged
such as your eyes, your kidneys, your brain, cardiovascular system
and goes on and on and on. High blood pressure
is the silent killer for a reason. It really does.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Kill, without a doubt. It catches people off guard because
there's not like a thermostat or a gauge on your
wrist that says, okay, your blood pressure is in a
dangerous zone. You best chill out, you best back off
a little bit, or you're going to blow a cork
in your brain or your blood vessels somewhere. We don't

(16:35):
have that, and many people their first event with high
blood pressure, be it a stroker, heart attack, will be
the last event. And that's a tragedy in and of itself,
and we want to help stop that. That's why we
asked you to be on the show today to raise
the awareness and the consciousness of blood pressure and what
we can do about it because it can be helped

(16:56):
safely and naturally. Larry, what is considered for those people
and most people know this, but let's remind them what
is considered to be normal blood pressure? Somebody to look
when they go to their doctor's office or maybe they're
in the drug store getting their blood pressure checked. What
are they to look for?

Speaker 5 (17:17):
Well, doctor, the magic numbers seem to be one twenty
over eighty as like the magic spot to try and
target for.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
And anything lower than that would be just fine too.
One ten over seventy five or seventy. I mean, yes,
blood presure can get too low and then you can
have issues with that, but most people don't don't have
unless they're you know, they've got some unusual situation, or
they're an elite athlete, or they meditate deeply enough, but
that's usually having a lowered blood pressure usually helps them

(17:51):
to last longer, live longer, provided that it's not excessively low. Larry,
please discuss, Larry, what types of life style risks contribute
to having high blood pressure.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
I think the number one is lack of physical activity doctor.
I mean people are just sitting on their backsides watching
the boob tube and not being active, sitting around eating
salty foods, which is throwing off their balance of potassium
to sodium, which you know how badly that is, and
that contributes to obese, which is another really bad place

(18:30):
to be. And they sit around and pop beers and
other sorts of things, the alcoholic beverages, and go outside
and smoke cigarettes and other things that are bad for them.
And these are just a it's a prescription for death, folks.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Yeah, it is, without a doubt it. I tell people, please,
don't wound yourself with your fork and spoon. Make good
decisions on what you put in that pie hole. Make
sure you understand that there needs to be foods that
have good high nutrient value. And yeah, it's not gonna

(19:07):
hurt every once in a while to have some junk food.
Maybe some processed foods are highly processed foods. The problem, though, Larry,
is that we live in a society today that's mostly
ultra processed foods that have been devalued and are devoid
of those important nutrients you just mentioned that keep the

(19:27):
body in proper balance, because once we are assaulted with
these types of foods that don't carry the nutrition our
bodies need, it will eventually cause imbalance and the body
has to take steps to try to correct that, and
that's where the blood pressure starts to rise. It's sort

(19:48):
of like an idiot light that goes off inside as
I see it, Larry, wherein the body tries to attempt
to correct it. Unfortunately, it goes beyond that point of
correction and it can damage, like you said, the eyes,
the kidneys, the heart, the blood vessels before we even
know what the heck is going on. All right, I
want to have you hold that thought right there, Larry.

(20:09):
We're gonna take a break and come back. I've got
a lot of questions to ask you, and I want
to have people be prepared because Prior to the interview,
Larry provided for me to play to you a audio
clip of a lady who has been able to orchestrate
a safe and effective natural way to contain and control

(20:32):
her blood pressure even though she was on pharmaceutical drugs.
To begin with, the story is amazing and you must
hear this, and I think it's possible for most people
to do this, So stand by for that that's coming
up during our interview with Larry Logsdon on the topic
of blood pressure. You're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show.

(21:01):
Are you waiting on a line? Next take? Are you
waiting for the perfect night? Are you waiting to the time?
Is night by up?

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Don't you want to learn to deal with don't you
want to take the wheels stand?

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Don't you beat another man?

Speaker 6 (21:23):
Why?

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Why are you in? Hey? Help me and I'm happy.
Welcome or welcome back to this hour the Doctor Bob

(22:50):
Our special guest with us, we'll get to him shortly. Here,
Larry Logston's with us. We're talking about hypertension, high blood pressure.
Way too many people in the United States have it
and are damaged by it, not even realizing they have it.
We'll get back to that in a moment. I also
want to let you know that this is probably going
to be the last weekend where Wachanaga of America, the

get the free coupons Kyolic Kyolic dot Com Forward Slash Radio.

(24:17):
All right, back to our special Guessilari Logston, who is
a functional food research scientist with expertise in the medicinal
properties of exotic fruits. We're talking about high blood pressure hypertension.
Way too many Americans have it, and yet it is
a very easy in my opinion, because I proved it

(24:38):
within my own practice of over twenty some years, you
can actually take people who have high blood pressure, change
up their lifestyle and lower their blood pressure drug free. Yes,
it takes time, it takes some effort, but it can't
happen now. There are some patients that have ricalcitrin blood pressure.
They don't respond well to even the greatest of measures

(24:59):
that they try, and they may require medication, and of
course that can be life saving. We're not telling anybody
here to stop their blood pressure medication or discontinue it
without your doctor's guidance or without a pharmacist guidance. We're
simply saying to you that this is a problem that
many people can improve by modifying what they're doing in
their lifestyle. And Larry's bringing it today helping us understand it.

(25:22):
All right, Larry, most people know that high blood pressure
can cause heart attacks and strokes. But what other parts
of the human body suffer when somebody's blood pressure is
too high, too long.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
That's a long list, doctor Bob. First of all, most
people don't know it. I mean there are people around
us say, oh, I'm too young to worry about high
blood pressure. Don't worry about that. We're good, and they
power down two or three sodas a day, have a
few bags of chips, and eat the fast food, and
they drive through. These are the people that I really
having the problems. It's going it's going to nail you, folks.

(26:00):
It's going to get you a heart attack, it's going
to be a stroke. You're going to find yourself with
diabetes that come from all these factors that you're not
paying attention to, not to mention. You're gonna have kidney disease.
You'll find that your eyes just don't focus. You can't
figure out why you've got bloodshot eyes. The list goes
on and on and on. The important thing to know

(26:22):
is that this is the most important thing you can
do to improve your health, and it's cheap.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
M and Larry, What about stress? How does stress play
a role in a person's susceptibility to high blood pressure
or hypertension.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
Well, stress is a positive motivational force or constraining force
that holds you back, and it puts a lot of
pressure on the arteries and the blood vessels by constricting them.
So if you already have built up, you know, plaque,
and they're you're going to find that that's not good
because the plaque can break free and then it can

(26:59):
travel to places like to the brain or the heart
or the other organs and damage it big time. And
if not, put you out forever, all right?

Speaker 2 (27:08):
And are you larry in favor of everyone monitoring their
own blood pressure at home, because we hear stories about
people going into their doctor's offices and the minute they
hit that waiting room and they smell that alcohol in
the air and they, you know, they have those fears
come back that they had in childhood. Is that needle,

(27:29):
that dripping needle came near their rump and their blood
pressure goes through the moon And suddenly they check their
blood pressure. It's high, and so the doctor's, oh, we
got blood pressure. We better put you on a drug today,
and they're on it for the rest of their life.
Just with one experience we call it, you know, the
white coat syndrome. Do you believe or do you favor
everyone monitoring their blood pressure in an environment that they're

(27:52):
not stressed, they don't get a false positive and end
up with blood pressure drugs for the rest of their lives.

Speaker 5 (28:00):
Bob, the answer to that is ab so freaking lutely absolutely, folks.
This is something you really want to do at home.
Do it when you first rise in the morning, before
you have coffee or tea or or anything, really and
just sit down and put the cuff on and get
the readings. And you say, oh, that's not so bad.

(28:21):
It isn't bad because you're an ideal situation. When you
go into the doctor's office, stress sets in and it
is not a good picture and the doctor will might
take advantage of you.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Yeah, well not really. I mean the doctor will give
them the we'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
They really are trained to jump on that to try
to manage it as quickly as possible. I know that
I'm a big fan of I think everybody needs to
have a blood pressure unit in their home. I really
do it because it can save lives and they're cheap,
they're inexpensive. They're easy to operate, and that way, if

(28:55):
somebody sees a trend or something happening, they can report
it to the doctor, or they can make some changes
in their lifestyle. Chill out a little bit, stop eating poorly,
smoking cigarettes, maybe get a little bit of exercise, do
what it takes to let the body right itself or
to better manage whatever is going wrong. That's wobbly. Now, Larry,

(29:16):
we're gonna take a break, and when we come back,
we're going to talk about the fact that you've been
helping people improve their health, including their blood pressure, by
providing ta Heati Trader nony juice. We're gonna try to explain.
I want you to explain to our audience how drinking
an exotic fruit juice such as nony and many people
may not know what it is, so I'm gonna ask

(29:37):
you to explain that and how that may help with
the management of a problem we call hypertension. We'll be
right back, folks. You're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
Somabuservice, numba simoncible, the one never single means up.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Well, you're having to be tuned into the largest and
longest airing radio health talk show to America in large
part thanks to you. We so appreciate you being here
today to listen to this conversation we're having on a
very important topic, high blood pressure, high pretension. Our special
guest is Larry Logsden, who's a functional food research chemist

(30:50):
with expertise and medicinal properties of exotic fruits, including the
one that I want him to tell our audience about
right now, and that is non need juice. Larry, you've
been helping people improve their health, including blood pressure, by
providing Tahiti Trader nony juice for years. Please explain how
nony juice has been able to help so many people.

(31:13):
And then I want to play for our audience an
audio clip that you provided prior to the show of
a fascinating testimony of a woman who had high blood
pressure and used Tahati Trader nony juice in order to
get it under control, which is an amazing story which
we'll hear shortly. But can you tell people what nony

(31:33):
juice is? I mean, they know what apple juice is,
and orange juice and grape juice, but they probably don't
know what nony juice is unless they've actually used it
in the past.

Speaker 5 (31:42):
You're right, doctor Bob. Nony juice comes from a fruit
that we get from the South Pacific Islands of Tahiti,
and the nony fruit is like a prickly pear looking
thing that's actually in the coffee family. If we're going
to try and in a family. Now, this stuff here,

(32:02):
it's got more than one hundred and forty unique any
compounds not found in any other fruit on earth, folks.
And one of the things that happens when you drink
none ea juice, is it according to in vitro test, Now,
the concentrations of non e chewice inhibit acee enzyme and

(32:24):
the AT receptors. Now that's what is the high blood
pressure comes from? That is it? Nony does this, it's furree,
doesn't cost you anything. And what's wonderful about it is that,
according to research, nony juice also helped protect against tobacco
smoke induced DNA damage, which leads to high blood pressure.

(32:44):
So this is a good thing.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Wow, all right, now, Larry, thank you for that that.
I did not realize that you set a testimony. The
interview you conducted with a listener of this radio show apparently,
who had amazing improved blood pressure as a result of
consuming Tahati Trader Nony juice. And what I would like
to do right now, if my producer will do so,

(33:10):
is to play the audio clip, and when we finish,
I would like to discuss it. So let's go with
that right now, please Phil good?

Speaker 1 (33:18):
What is it?

Speaker 5 (33:19):
Larry?

Speaker 6 (33:20):
Oh, Larry, this is Sea Laying. When I started taking
the Nony juice, I did not know, you know, I'm
a health addict, so I was running across you know,
different things, and I came across that and I thought, Wow,
this sounds interesting. So I bought it. Now I'll take

(33:41):
it forever. So I hope they continue making this because
I have not had to take my blood pressure in
a paril ever since I bought it. I went through
one bottle, and because I have high blood pressure, I
take my blood pressure every day, sometimes two three times,

(34:03):
especially when I first started this, because I couldn't believe
my blood pressure was going down, but I could feel.
I just didn't feel correct. I was still taking the
blood pressure and the non age. So I stopped the
blood pressure meds and then took my blood pressure like

(34:23):
four or five times a day and it was low.
It's low now, so I just continue on using it.
I started out with an ounce a day, went through
one bottle, and that's when I started noticing my blood
pressure dropping. So I don't take the meds anymore, you know,

(34:46):
which I like. I'm a more natural type of person
and I'm older. So I went ahead and I bought
three more bottles, and oh, I have it here and
I'm going on. Let me see, I've already taken two
bottles and I'm starting on my third, and it keeps

(35:13):
my blood pressure lower than it's ever been. Like, I
listened to Ktaar a lot.

Speaker 5 (35:21):
Doctor Bob Martin, and I haven't an interview.

Speaker 6 (35:24):
Yeah, it's on Sunday, and I listened to him because
you know, I really believe in all the natural things.
So it's one hundred and oney five and seventy eight
and then eighty eight for pauls.

Speaker 5 (35:47):
Well, that sounds wonderfully, Lane. I'm so happy that your
blood pressure is where you want it now. That's awesome numbers.

Speaker 6 (35:54):
So I'm a happy, happy person and I will continue
taking that nni jee.

Speaker 2 (36:02):

a very satisfied, happy customer of Tahiti Trader Nony Juice. Now,

moments left in the show Lightning around time, so I
have to ask you this. Are there any known adverse
side effects of drinking nony juice?

Speaker 5 (38:14):
Not one, not even one. It's an amazing thing, Folks.
You're gonna love drinking nony juice. You're gonna love.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
You'll have to correct that. I'm gonna have to correct that, Larry,
because there's gonna be an adverse effect on the pharmaceutical
companies if people pick up on this, because if they
have happened what happened to that lovely lady that you
brought in the audio clip, they're gonna be they're gonna
be hurting for certain.

Speaker 5 (38:40):
Well, she's seventy eight years old, folks, and she brought
her blood pressure under control. Very natured. You can too,
Aimle can It's very possible, all right.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Please describe the different forms of nony juice. You know,
I know that there are more than just one.

Speaker 5 (38:57):
Well, there are two.

Speaker 4 (38:58):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (38:59):
There's the original formula that's blended with blueberry and raspberry,
and it is a wonderful product, which is the one
e Lane is using. And we have another one called
Island Style and this stuff is a bit stronger flavor,
and it's designed for people who have some serious problems.
But if you're not in a serious problem, you probably

(39:19):
want to go with your original formula. It's a great
tasting product and you'll love it.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
And again, folks, you can get it at Tahiti Trader
dot com, Tahiti Trader dot com or finer health food
stores nationwide including GNC, Sprouts and many others. Or call
eight hundred and eighty four to two five three oh nine, Larry,
how can how much can the average listener expect to
pay for nony juice?

Speaker 5 (39:45):
It depends on where you go, but at GNC it's
like twenty nine dollars. You can go to Vitamin Shop,
it might be a few dollars extra, maybe the same
at sprouts, about the same price at middle thirties. It's
a it's a very reasonably priced product.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
I think it is, especially when you consider it your health,
which is priceless. And I know some people often cringe
when they find out how much their pharmaceutical drugs are
costing them, not just in terms of their pocketbook, but
the adverse side effect potential risks of taking them. It
all works out. We're so glad you joined us today, Larry,

(40:22):
to talk about how to better manage high pertension and
high blood pressure, and particularly focusing in on the Tihiti
Trader and Only Juice. We appreciate you coming by and
look forward to having you on the show of the
very New Future. Sir.
