Speaker 3 (02:42):
Let's go to the phones.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
First, up is Mary calling in from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Hi, doct you Bob. My name is Mary. I'm from
Cedar Rappids, Iowa. I really appreciate what you're doing in
your radio program. I'm calling because I have recurrent seaball
have had two rounds of zy fax and I'm wondering
what else I might do. I am carefully eating health healthily,

(03:11):
and also with this recurrent seaboll, I now have a
flare in ankylos and spondylitis. So if you could give
me an answer about these melodies, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you again, Bye bye.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Okay, Mary, thank you for your phone call. Appreciate you
calling in. Yeah, that's that's a tough one.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
And uh.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
These chronic bacterial overgrowth conditions that happen in people are
often generated by a dose of antibiotics, or more like
multiple doses.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
And think about how many doses.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Of antibiotics you've had in your life. Anybody listening to
this onto my voice and sometimes you know you think, okay,
so I took the antibiotics that did its job, and
they are miracle drugs, there's no question about it.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Can save your life.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
But they're way way too often used when other safer
and more effective things should be explored.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
But we have to learn to live with it, and
that's the way it is.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
But these chronic bacterial overgrowths that happen in people are
tough because they get started with something that rocks the
world of the gastrointestinal track, and then suddenly the good
guys are no longer in control, and the bad guys
get out of control and they wreak havoc on the
body and they can absolutely set into motion these degenerative

(04:38):
chronic autoimmune diseases. In the meantime, Mary, you need to
work with a doctor, a licensed doctor who's trained in
functional medicine or lifestyle medicine or holistic medicine where they
can order and then analyze and sit down with you
or give you a written report of findings and recommendations

(04:59):
about how while your gastro intestinal system is functioning. First,
you need to get what is called a comprehensive digestive test.
A comprehensive digestive test includes taking a stool sample in
the privacy of your home and a saliva sample. There's
a company that sends out these little kits that are

(05:21):
in a box and they have little beakers in them,
easy to understand, one sheet directions on it, and it
helps you to gather the stool, tells you how to
do it, and then where to send it, and then
they do a sophisticated, very sophisticated analysis of the stool
in the saliva and send the ordering doctor the results

(05:42):
of your test, which are about twenty I think there's
like twenty five different or separate biomarkers as to try
to explain why you have this chronic bacterial overgrowth or
SEBO going on. And there's no way medical care is
going to help SEBO. It just doesn't. It just makes
it worse. That's how you probably got there in the

(06:02):
first place. And now you've had, as a result of that,
this high inflammatory condition in an area where your immune
system mostly resides. Now you're at risk of having this
autoimmune disease ankylosimspondylitis going on in your spine most likely.
So I suggest that you don't abandon medical care. It's

(06:24):
just certain things in medical care are really necessarily important
in life saving. This isn't one of them. This may
have been how you got there was a round of
antibiotics or a round of steroids or something else in
the pharmaceutical arena that did this. This is usually what
we notice as clinicians. So you need to get to
somebody who understands this and can order this test, then

(06:45):
analyze the test and properly respond to you and recommend
certain things that we're going to help clear this problem
up for you. In the meantime, I would get started
on doctor Ohira's probiotics immediately, and I'd take a load
of that, like three capsules of it on an empty stomach,
three times a day, the last dose right before going
to bed. Doctor ohir Is probiotics immediately for this particular condition.

(07:10):
All right, thank you for your phone call, Mary, and
I wish you well. Next up, we say hello to Roger.
He's calling in from Atkins, Iowa.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
Oh yes, Bob, this is Roger from Atkins, Iowa. And
that question is concerning called ld L, which my doctor
says is high according to the it's one twelve. It's
supposed to be less than one hundred. Tried different stat
and drugs which didn't react very Charlie horses and back
aches and muscle aches, and so then here's a trade

(07:43):
me on the PATHA right now. And I was learning
what your opinion is of REPATHA is as far as
a health reason or if there's an alternative or something better. Presently,
in the morning when I wake up, I take two
or three ounces of the nano juice. Some breakfast, you know,
I have a whole bread with raw on fieldered honey

(08:07):
and littleberries and olive oil. So there's any other things
that would help LDL in a natural way or not
enjoy watching your show?

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Okay, Roger, thank you for your phone call.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Well, ultimately, Roger, you must decide if you want to
go along with your doctor's recommendations to take any medical
drug or or or not including a statin or cholesterol
lowering drug. What I'm about to tell you is not
to be interpreted as my suggestion that you stop taking
your statin drugs or any drug for that matter, that

(08:45):
your medical provider has prescribed, I would recommend you seek
out a second opinion by a doctor trained in functional
medicine or lifestyle medicine, or integrative medicine or holistic medicine
so you can find out why why you are making
excessive bad cholesterol. And it isn't that bad. By the way,
your LDL at that level is like nothing, and it

(09:07):
really means nothing to understand that level anyway. Cholesterol does
not necessarily pose any danger to your health whatsoever. The
types of doctors who are trained to understand this, this
discipline where they can tear this apart and look at
a lifestyle change for you to help engineer a better

(09:28):
pathway for you are doctors that are trained in nature
pathic medicine, chiropractic physicians, homeopathic physicians mds, doos that are
board certified in clinical nutrition. Because you know, if we
believe that many years of these statin drug therapies, cholestero
alluring drugs results in the gradual accumulation of what is

(09:49):
called mitochondrial damage, and you can you know cholesterol is
good for your health. It actually helps to promote longer life.
Your body makes eighty percent of your cholesterol right there
in your liver seventy or eighty percent of it, no
matter what you eat, if you eat it thirty.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Eggs a day or no eggs a day.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Cholesterol is important, but the type of cholesterol is all important.
That's really what we need to determine. And hopefully your
doctor is recommending certain tests that measure whether or not
you have the right kind of cholesterol, or is it
small particle cholesterol, is it apol B cholesterol? And what

(10:32):
is the cholesterol to HDL ratio? These are all things
that need to be considered. But man statin drugs used
to fight coolextral can actually harm your health. Many scientists
know that, some of them. It's not the best thing
to do. Now, you email me and I'll be happy
to send you some articles on statin. Go through my
website at doctor Bob dot com doctor Bob dot com

(10:53):
and I'll be happy to send you articles on statins
that will set you free.

Speaker 3 (10:57):

Speaker 6 (11:01):
And he said.

Speaker 7 (11:01):

eternity to think about what you do with it. What
did you do with it, What did I do with it?

Speaker 2 (12:28):
The show to ask a question about your health The
Doctor Bob Martin Show call her hotline number eight hundred
six zero six eight eight two two eight hundred six
zero six eight eight two two. Now just a finishing
comment before we go to the next caller. Here, I

(12:48):
wanted to follow up on Rogers call in uh Atkins, Iowa.
I feel really sorry for people who get down a
rat hole with the statin cholesterol a loring drugs, which
many experts are now believing was one of the biggest
scams ever pulled over the eyes of both doctors and

(13:12):
the public cholesterol lowering drugs, and I'm sure that they've
helped some people, but most of the time there are
other ways to go about it. There are lots of
side effects associated with statin drugs. They're now being referred
to as mitochondrial toxins. Mitochondria are those energy centers within
our cells, and when you make them toxic, they can

(13:35):
be a linkage to heart disease themselves, even though they
were pushed with the promises of protecting the vascular system.
Research published in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology Listen to
This reveals that statins are more aptly described as mitochondrial
toxins in that they impair normal muscle function in the

(14:00):
heart and blood vessels by depleting the body of coenzyme
Q ten, also known as coq ten. Now, if you've
ever been placed on statin drugs without the doctor saying
to you, now, look, I'm gonna put you on a
statin drug in an attempt to lower your cholestero level.
But while you're on it, you need to be taking

(14:22):
coq ten because it's gonna deplete it. And if you
get coq ten depleted, that's a major mitochondrial force and
energy source for those mitochondrial those centers, those powerhouses of
the cells, And if you get low in coq ten,
it puts your heart at risk. It's I think it's
malpracticed for a doctor to prescribe statin cholesterol lowering drugs

(14:45):
without at least offering the patient.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
To take coq ten.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
It's an antioxidant. Coq ten is and the cells use
it for growth and maintenance. Coq ten does not synthesize
properly when a person takes statin drugs as prescribed by
medical doctors to prevent heart disease, which is said to
be the.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Leading cause of death in America.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Even though it's not it's medical miscare also vital to
the production of ATP, the fundamental energy carrier in the cells.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
That's co q ten.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
We're talking about and it gets depleted when you take
these statin drugs, these coluster lowering drugs, and people wonder
why they have fatigue, why they have muscle aching, why
they have memory loss, why they have diabetes, increase risk.
These are all things that are caused by statin drugs.
And again I'm not here to tell you to stop them.
You just have to learn why you're taking them, and
maybe get to the inflammation as to why your body's

(15:40):
making excess cholesterol, find out what.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Kind it is.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
But I'm happy to send anybody a number of articles
for light reading about cholesterol and the fact that it
is important to longer life, not shorter life, if it's
properly managed. So you can send me an email and
I'll be happy to send you those articles through. Send
the request through my website at doctor bob dot com.

(16:04):
There's a place on my website where you can actually
send an email and request information on statin drugs. That'll
curl your toes that you're not being told that this
information is not getting out there. The drug companies love
it when this information doesn't get out there. Doctor bob

the area where you can actually ask me a question
and I'm happy to answer it. All right, let's get

Next up is Dan calling in from Beanstation, Tennessee.

Speaker 9 (16:48):
Dan, bean Station, Tennessee. I want to know is there
anything to these planes that synovial could or the cart
leads in your knee can be regenerated? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Thank you, okay, Dan, good question.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
A lot of people are being told that no regeneration
is possible once they you know, it's the old bone.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
You've got bone on.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Bone and you need a new knee, or you need
a new hip, or you need something. Usually that's coming
out of the surgeon's mouth. Of course, that person who's
going to benefit by the procedures cutting slice and dison
and doing procedures. Dan, I'm here to tell you, yes,
knee cartilage does have the ability to regenerate. Even if
somebody tells you it's bone on bone, there's nothing in there.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Don't believe it.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
I've had hundreds of people under my own care that
have regenerated. It doesn't happen overnight because the degeneration didn't
happen overnight.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
So what I'm telling.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
You right now is there are oral supplements that are
useful at helping to regenerate cartilage inside the knee joints,
no question. We're talking about things like hyaluronic acid, glucosamine,
and chondroid and sulfate. There's a collagen on the market

(18:07):
called Revive. It's a powdered collagen product r Vive. Revive
collagen stuff is amazing. People that want to regenerate more
cartilage need to maybe supplement with a small amount of manganese,
a mineral. Manganese. Vitamin C helps make collagen and these

(18:30):
cartilage substances. And then, of course, Dan you also have
the option to seek out a healthcare provider who can
maybe speed things up a little bit or make the
program of helping your knees to come back to life
so that you don't need a whole knee replacement or
have to stay on painkilling drugs that destroys your health
over time, or just bite the bullet and suffer in silence.

(18:54):
There are doctors who are trained to do injections platelet
rich plasma PRP, which basically takes your own plasma after
they change it up a little bit, and they inject
it back into your knee, which then stimulates the body

(19:14):
to make new cartilage. You can also get hyaluronic ha
injections into the joint, and there is a physical therapy
modality called soft wave or shock wave therapy that also
helps to stimulate stem cells, which are the cells that

(19:36):
can help regenerate new cartilage in and about within the joint.
And there are other things you can do. So do
not believe when somebody tells you that there's absolutely nothing
you can do for rebuilding cartilage. I've seen X rays
where it looked like bone on bone was there. But

(19:57):
if there's any cells there whatsoever, they can be restarted
and new cells can form.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
It takes time.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
This requires time, and at the same time, you need
to make sure that your feet are in balance. You're
not having your foot turn in or turnout pronation supernation.
See a good podiatrist or a chiropractor for that. Make
sure your hips are balanced. Your structure means good function.
Good structure good function. Make sure that you know it's

(20:27):
kind of like your car alignment. You'll wear out the
tires if the alignment's out of balance. Well, that's what
chiropractic physicians do.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
They keep your.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Alignment in proper working orders so that you don't wear
things out. So see the chiropractor for that, and maybe
try acupuncture, massages, therapy. There's a lot of treatment that
you can consider before and going under the knife, which
could be a disaster and you'll never be the same.
Appreciate your phone call down. Stay tuned, ladies and gentlemen,

(20:57):
We'll be right back. You're tuned into the Doctor Bob

The only bad health question is the one you're not asking,
So call in. Tell doctor Bob where it hurts from

website doctor bob dot com spelling.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
Out the word.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
All right, before we go back to calls and questions,
let's talk about how important it is to access superfruits
within your diet. Super fruits, and these superfruits, if you're
unaware of what they are. The superfruits are now being

(23:22):
studied furiously by researchers because they contain important ingredients and
chemicals that can assist your body in repairing itself and
maintaining itself. Is just amazing how much research is coming
out on this.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
And ronia berries.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Aronia berries, I don't know if you've heard of these
berries are very dark, rich looking berries. They're considered one
of the king superfruits out there because they're rich and
important nutrients and antioxidants. These aronia berries contain what are
called phenolic compounds, which naturally help the plant, the ronia berry,

(24:04):
resist disease and premature death. They have evolved over probably
millions of years to protect themselves from insects and sunlight
and rain and everything else. But when we consume these
ronia berries, when we ingest them as humans. They also
have been shown to provide anti inflammatory properties and may

(24:27):
help prevent or treat a variety of conditions, including cancer
and diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, libert disease, and
even metabolic disorders when we consume these superfruits. Now, it's
worthy to note that scientific studies have proven and subsequently
published in peer review scientific journals, that two of the

(24:49):
ronia berries many health giving compounds, were also found and
were shown to have potential anti flu properties. In other words,
there when you have the ingredients in the ronia berries
inside your body, they help you to resist getting the
flu or the common cold. So now go on out

(25:09):
and find ronia berries, but make sure they're organic so
that they're not full of pesticides, because they tend to
give pesticides on these things. So get the ronia berries organic,
or ronia berries any small amount of those, maybe a
handful or two of those a day very But if
you can't do that or you don't want to do that,
there's also a cost effective way to benefit from aronia
berries by taking a nutritional supplement called ronia berry complex

(25:33):
by arry naturally vitamins It contains a Ronia berry extract
AB forty, which delivers a concentrated and consistent source of
this amazing superfruit. Additionally, Aronia berry complex includes French grape
seed extract VX one. Grape Seed extract is an incredible
effective botanical for strong heart muscle function, arterial protection, and

(25:56):
even healthy blood pressure levels and cholesterol balance. So look
for Ronia Berry Complex at finer health food stores or
go to the website Terry Naturally Vitamins dot com Terry
Naturally Vitamins dot Com for Ronia Berry Complex. All right,
let's get right back to work with your telephone calls

(26:16):
and your questions. Next up, we say hello to Bob
calling in from Delhi, Iowa.

Speaker 8 (26:23):
This is Bob calling from Delhi, Iowa. I was recent
reading an article recently about turmeric or cumin, and it
said it's not well absorbed, and it's better absorbed if
you take a fairly good sized dose of black pepper.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
Is that true?

Speaker 8 (26:40):
Because I look on the label for tumeric and kuk Kuherman.
Neither one of them put black pepper in their formula.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Thank you, all right, well, Bob, thank you for that call.
That's a that's a great question. Uh, people are finding
out about kurkumin, the active one of the active ingredients
in turmeric, the herb.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
It's been used in.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Ira vetic medicine for thousands and thousands of years for
a whole variety of things from the common cold to cancer.
I mean, it is just out there and it's so
positive at reducing inflammation in the body. Yes, it's true, Bob,
that black pepper also referred to as piper nigrum and
or turmeric essential oil that's there when added to the herb,

(27:26):
turmeric increases the absorption and the assimilation. Now, unfortunately, some
people can't handle the black pepper, it can irritate their stomach. However,
if curcumin supplements contain what is called BCEM ninety five,
which is a better way to go to make sure

(27:47):
that the curcumin that you take in supplementally is going
to absorb.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Just make sure the.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Product has BCEM ninety five curcumin. And there's also some
thing called our tomorne that you won't have to worry
about it containing black pepper to optimize the absorption. I
know there are some people who have read that, and
it is true. Curcumin is hard to absorb. It's one

(28:15):
of those herbs that is hard to absorb, and black
pepper helps to optimize it. But some people, you know,
they don't want the black pepper. They may have irritation
of the stomach. And that's why when you go out
shopping for a turmeric or a curcuman product, maybe Cuamed.
There's one on the market called Cuamed or Curemens. That's
the one that has that BCM ninety five in it

(28:38):
that will help with the assimilation and the absorptibility of
the curcuman so that you get the most out of
that herb. All right, great call, Thank you for that, Bob.
Next up we say hello to Lyle, also state of Iowa.
Welcome to the program.

Speaker 5 (28:55):
Lyle, thank you for your show.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
MI.

Speaker 10 (28:57):
Name is Lyle from Iowa. Question I have is is
there any way for a patient in a major hospital
to find out maybe they went in under due rest
from emergency treatment or whatever. Is there any way to
find out if they had been given a COVID shot

(29:20):
while they were in there unbeknownst to them. I'd appreciate
to hear that that information. How do you find that
out without throwing up a red Knight and somebody saying,
oh no, that never happened. When it did. Maybe it didn't,
but I know the truth. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Well.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
First of all, you can request a copy of your
medical chart, which should contain all the information about the
carry was received. Additionally, there are there may be a
way to blood tests to determine whether spike proteins from
these mRNA experimental clot shots from the code nineteen was received.
So yeah, have somebody request the chart, see if it's
in there. If it isn't, uh look into the possibility

(30:01):
of getting tested blood tested to see if spike proteins
are still floating around.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
All right, thanks for your phone call. Stay tuned. I'm
doctor Bob Martin, so s Hamza.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
I'm a bush of Number.

Speaker 7 (30:30):
Simonvincible, the one never single minds, a powerful I don't
most apple.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
Today we are in the middle of a marathon, a
health and healing marathon, wherein I take questions from our
audience members, listeners like you who have called in into
our nationwide toll free number. It's that simple. You just
go to your telephone and you dial one eight hundred

(31:07):
six zero six eight eight two to two eight hundred
six zero six eight eight.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
Two to two and you'll hear me answer the phone.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
I'll ask you to state your first name only, first
name only, the city and state you're living in, and
then your question or your health comments.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
That simple, just like Lyle did.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
And if you're just tuning in, I want to let
you know too that we have a health poll question
love to get your opinion of it. It goes like this,
Florida becomes the first state to back the removal of
fluoride from tapwater. Your question on my website. I'd love
to get your answer to this. Are you in favor
of a nationwide band of fluoride in tapwater?

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Or no? Please vote on that will have the results
and I'll tell you what why I posted that up
and what you really need to know about fluoride. Let's
go right back to your telephone calls and questions.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Now.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Next up is, well, this person didn't state their name,
but I know they're from I'm sorry, what's their name?

Speaker 3 (32:06):
Oh K from Cortez, Colorado.

Speaker 11 (32:08):
Why I'm K in Cortes, Colorado. I was wondering if
there was some sort of liquid hydrating supplements. It's I
can't drink enough water. I'm always dehydrated in the conditions

(32:29):
around here.

Speaker 9 (32:32):
We're in a drought, but.

Speaker 11 (32:34):
I'm seventy two. I can't drink enough water. I'm just
wondering if there's something I can do to keep the
bun and creating in it base. Thank you, and I
do love your show.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
Well. Thank you for the call, and thank you for
the compliment.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
K Yes, first and foremost, I would be concerned that
if you're constantly dehydrated and cannot properly hydrated, you always
feel dry. I wonder if you're taking any medical drugs.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
There are a whole slew.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Of pharmaceutical drugs that can cause the very symptoms that
you are talking about. I would also stop drinking coffee
or using caffeine.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
It's a diuretic.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
And I would also if you're drinking any alcohol, push
back from that as well and see what happens. Yes,
you can improve your hydration and the absorption of water
by adding a concentrate of something called Willard water. You
don't drink it straight up. You add a certain small

(33:41):
amount of it to the water, the pure, hopefully purified
water that you're drinking there in Cortez, Colorado.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
You add the Willard water to the water that you're drinking.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
In other words, if you weigh one hundred and fifty pounds,
for example, you should drink at least seventy five ounces
of water per day. So that's the amount that you
drink half your weight in body ounces of water per day.
But to make that water wetter or more absorbable, you
can add this Willard water to the water that you're

(34:13):
drinking and it will make that water get into the
cell more efficiently. And Willard water is available at finer
health food stores and the health food store that you
go to. If they don't have it, they can order
Willard water. You can even get it online. I'm sure
somewhere just by doing a Google search Willard water, look
for the original Willard water.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
But there's a lot of fake ones I guess out there.
As I understand it.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
Also, to improve kidney function, I would suggest that you
start eating more green leafy vegetables, cabbage, garlic, onions, radishes,
charred arugula, red bell pepper, blueberries, tahati trader none juice

(34:59):
excellent for kidney concerns or people who are dehydrated, and pineapple.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Those are the foods that you should focus in on.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
To help with kidney health. You mentioned the blood urrea
nitrogen or b U N or creatinine, which is what
we as doctors have to monitor one of the tools,
two of the tools, two of the chemistries that we
look at in kidney function in blood tests. So I
think if you try the Willard water, stay on top

(35:28):
of that, and eat the vegetables that I just mentioned,
and then keep monitoring your bun and creating through and
that and your symptoms of course how you actually feel,
you should get better over time. All right, Kay, thank
you for your phone call. Next we say hello to
John in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Speaker 12 (35:45):
Hi, doctor Bob. This is John from Kingsport, Tennessee, and
I was looking to get the Is it the RGCC
cancer test. I've been looking around locally here in my
area and really hasn't found anybody that offers that. I
mentioned it to my primary nurse practitioner, but he gave

(36:09):
me this beer in the headlights look like I was
talking Greek to them. And yes, pun is intended. Love
your show, look forward to hearing your answer. Thank you,
doctor be all right, You're welcome.

Speaker 3 (36:21):
Thank you for your phone call.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Yeah, RGCC is a medical testing company headquartered in Switzerland
with facilities of course worldwide that specializes in these cutting
edge genetic tests to help diagnose and determine the effective
treatment plans for medicine, and they do test blood samples
for it to isolate these analyzing or these to analyze

(36:44):
circulating tumor cells and circulating cancer stem cells. So your
nurse practitioner response was probably likely due to the fact
that she's unaware of the tests. You will likely need
to find a license health provider that's willing to recommend
this type of proactive blood test. By the way, insurance
doesn't cover these tests, even though it is purported to

(37:04):
be ninety six percent accurate at detecting cancer cells.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
In the early stages. So good luck with that. John,
appreciate your phone call. We'll be right back.

Speaker 8 (37:29):
Subs.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
You're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show, and for
that we appreciate it. We absolutely appreciate you telling other
people about the radio show. And the best way to
refer them is to listen to the radio station you're

the station.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
Write those down.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
Whether it's an m r FM station, the frequency on
the dial the time of the day, and they just
passed that on to as many people. Is you care
to have as healthy as you are or to get
healthy naturally so they can tune into this radio show.
The website the extension of this radio show is doctor
Bob dot com, spelling out the word doctor docto r

(38:14):
Bob dot com. We have a health Bowl question over
there right now. Are you in favor of a nationwide
band on fluoride in tapwater?

Speaker 3 (38:22):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Or no? It's based on the fact that the state
of Florida has become the first state to back the
removal of fluoride in their water in the state of Floride.
Do you agree with that on a nationwide basis?

Speaker 3 (38:34):
Appreciate it? All? Right, let's see if we can squeeze.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
Another phone call in before the end of the hour.
Here is Bill from Seaconk, Massachusetts.

Speaker 6 (38:41):
Good afternoon, Doctor Bob. This is Bill from Seaconk, Massachusetts.
I heard you speaking about eggs and I was just wondering,
I do enjoy an egg salad every now and then?

Speaker 5 (38:54):
Is that?

Speaker 6 (38:54):
Okay? The what I do is water comes to a boil,
I put the eggs in for about ten minutes, dump
out the hot water and then add cold water. Is
that too hot? Or am I okay? Having hot boiled
egg sandwiches once in a while, a nice egg salad sandwich, Thank.

Speaker 3 (39:11):
You all right, Bill, Thank you for your phone call.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
You know, egg preparation hard boiled eggs once in a
while is not going to be a problem, but the
better more optimal ways so that you don't denature the
protein and cause oxidative damage to the egg itself. High
heat on anything and food typically typically is not good
for it. But if you lightly poach or maybe sunny

(39:35):
side up, it's really the best way if you.

Speaker 3 (39:39):
Intend to eat eggs.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
But having a hard boiled egg or a you know,
egg salad sandwich, no big deal once in a while.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Enjoy it, my friend.

Speaker 2 (39:47):
However, fried and scrambled eggs are the worst, the very
worst way to prepare eggs, because the high level of heat.

Speaker 3 (39:57):
That is required to do that type of.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Cooking denatures the proteins in the eggs, and it also
generates free radicals unpaired electron molecules that will then be
required to be neutralized by certain nutrients in your diet
that may be used up excessively to try to counteract

(40:23):
the damage that you've generated in the egg that has
been heated to the point of in the frying process
or the scrambling process where high heat is used in
an excessive way. So yeah, you know there's a better way.
And I think you heard me talking about there's a
better way to cook eggs, to optimize the egg itself
and not harm it before you eat it.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
And that's poached or sunny side up.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
But once in a while having a hard boiled egg
bill is no big deal. Enjoy it, my friend, and
I appreciate your phone call. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
stay with us. You are tuned into the Doctor Bob
Martin Show.
