and I want to know what I could do to
lower my blood pressure so I can get off the
medications they got me on. And thank you very much.
I appreciate your show. I just failed to you tonight
for the first time.

All right, fantastic, Maria, thank you for your phone call.
Sorry you have high blood pressure, but I'm happy you
called into the program. First, I would encourage you to purchase,
if you haven't done so already, a blood pressure measuring device.
Now you can purchase these. They're really simple to use,
easy to use, and reliable and accurate. You can purchase
it at any drug store. Have that at your home

so that you can measure your own blood pressure a
couple times a day, maybe for a while, and then
take a look at it see if it's changing. You'll
provide that information to your doctor. If you choose AM
and PM early in the morning, maybe right before you
go to bed at night, to determine if what you're eating,
certain foods, if certain elements of stress during the day,

lack of sleep, either exercise or no exercise, or maybe
medications you're taking if any of those are impacting your
blood pressure, so that you can report that the next
time to your doctor. But let's talk about to lower
your blood pressure one and these are the really the
(06:45):
base of things you need to be aware of. If
you are overweight, you should lose some weight, start exercising more,
eating properly. Alcohol also causes people to have high blood
pressure everybody, but it can absolutely alcohol contribute to high
blood pressure, as can smoking. So if either one of

those are going on, if you expect to successfully lower
your blood pressure, you need to revisit whether or not
you need to be continuing to drink alcohol, and if
you are, maybe cut back and slowly wean away from that.
These are big contributors to high blood pressure. Are you
able to walk one to three miles a day when
the weather is appropriate to do so? That helps lower
(07:31):
blood pressure? Maria find ways. If you are under stress,
let's say stress on a scale of zero to ten
tens the worst zeros at least if your stress level
is over a three or four. Work it ways to
lower that. Maybe learn some meditation or biofeedback or deep
breathing exercises, something that can help you chill out and

not worry so much and get stressed. Also, avoid eating
the stamp American diet, the sad diet, because that is
full of things that can raise your blood pressure up,
including too much salt, too much fat, too much sugar.
And switch over to maybe like a Mediterranean style diet.
You can get books on that how to do it
in recipes. Take nutritional supplements to help with blood pressure management.

Omega three is so important to help balance our system
out with the types of anti inflatlammatory oils that we
should come in contact with to counter the pro inflammatory
oils that we come in contact with in our food
supply in the food chain. It should be a goal,

for twenty twenty five, we need to decrease our consumption
and exposure of these ultra processed foods that are in
the marketplace and increase our intake of anti inflammatory foods,
including omega three rich foods like let's say, wild caught salmon, sardines,

Anchovi's mackerel, etemami, flax, chia seeds. To optimize the exposure
we need more of in the omega three oil category
to counteract the inflammatory unhealthy for us in ex sass

You can't avoid it. You're gonna get too much of that.
When you measure the ratio of Americans omega three to
omega six, we see it's completely upside down. Too much
omega six in our system creating inflammation at other diseases,

and we do that starting with the foods we eat
and the supplements we take. Start with rethinking about your
cooking oils with a focus on swapping out high omega
oils which you shouldn't get too much of or none
at all, like grape seed and soybean oil and cottonseed

from your diet substantially. For the omega oils like extra
virgin olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, ghee butter, Yes,
butter's fine, and take a omega three supplement just as

keep those omega six, those pro inflammatory oils under control.
Omega threes are highly are these are the healthiest fats
that you can take that support your heart health. One

ankle swell, because I've been eating a lot of salt
lately and my left ankle is swelling, not my right,
just my left. So I was just wondering about that

Does salt consumption make one ankle swell? Well, that's the question.
If like you, you know, I you know a lot
of people eat salt, but they don't just swell on
one ankle. If you're sensitive to salt, you're usually gonna

she may have some circulatory problems in that one side,

the veggies that we need to get all those important

Peggy Belt in South Carolina, and I heard you mentioned
the pardonal disease. I have it and I wanted to
talk with you about that.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
Thank you, okay, well. Periodonal disease or periodontitis is peggy
an infection or inflammation or swelling of the bones and
ligaments that support your teeth. It basically happens with the
gums starting to swell, or you get an infection also
(34:37):
known as gingivitis, and when it goes untreated, that's when
things get worse. The problem spreads from the gums into
the supporting structures of your teeth, and it can cause
your teeth to loosen and even fall out. So when
gingivitis isn't treated properly, it can cause a full blown
periodonal disease, which you've already gone through. And this happens
(34:58):
due to poor dental high gene over time, and that's
because the bacteria stay on the teeth too long they
form plaque. This plaque is not cleared out or cleaned off,
it hardens to what is called tartar or calculus, you
may have heard of it. And this causes us swelling,
irritated gums to develop in these pockets and these spaces,

Hi, this is Lynn from Lacrosse, Wisconsin. My question deals
with how to naturally take care of essential tremor.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
Okay, Lynn, thank you for your phone call. The central tremler.
It's a tough one. I got to tell you because
it can be so many things that can cause it.
First and foremost, I would ask you to have a
toxic metal test performed via hair analysis to screen for
heavy metal poisoning. Sometimes these heavy metals can mess up
your nervous system and the signaling in the brain to
(38:52):
the extremities. So get a toxic metal test heavy metal
hair analysis done and then see a nutritionist who can
interpret it and tell you how to rid those elements
from the body and the meantime. What I would do
is I would because I'm almost positive you have it,
most people with tremors have it. I would start on

something called clean slate. It's a detoxification liquid you put
under your tongue a couple times a day and it
draws these heavy metals out of the body. We're all
being exposed to it, mercury, arsenic, cadmium, nickel. It's in
