Speaker 2 (03:00):
All right, we're going to begin this hour before we
go to your phone calls and questions about the topic
of health. Some comments from none other than icon music
icon Elton John. Did you read about this, Elton John?
He says legalizing marijuana or cannabis is one of the
(03:24):
greatest mistakes of all time. Elton John said that he did.
He says, and I quote, I maintain that marijuana it's addictive,
it leads to other drugs. That's what the Rocket Man
singer insisted upon. I couldn't agree with him more. And no,
I have never inhaled. Well, I guess I did at
(03:48):
a concert that I was at one time, and there
was so much skunk in the air at the time,
so much gonge, so much reefer, so much pot in
the air that I was probably taking in secondhand slipstream.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Marijuana and didn't even know it.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
But I don't know if it was enough to get
enough THCHC to get high off of it. I hope
not in any event, I digress. Elton John says he's
been sober since nineteen ninety and he thinks a recent
policy shift might lead more people down the path to addiction,
that is legalizing marijuana. The Rocketmanzinger denounced the legalization of
(04:29):
recreational marijuana during his time Icon of the Year profile.
He says, an I quote, I maintain that it is addictive,
it leads to other drugs, and when you're stoned, and
I've been stoned, he says, you don't think normally close quote.
(04:50):
He goes on to say, and I quote, legalizing marijuana
in America and Canada is one of the greatest mistakes
of all time. I couldn't agree with him more. Marijuana
is currently in twenty five US states and federally legal
in Canada. Other countries such as including other countries such
as Mexico, South Africa, and a whole Sloum Germany have
(05:12):
legalized marijuana in the last decade. But there's problems associated
with it. With marijuana that most people don't think about it.
And it's not just about the stink. The stench that
I smell in certain cities who have legalized it when
you're walking in downtown Denver, there's skunk in the air.
(05:32):
Even when you go to Las Vegas E's Day, you
can't get away from the skunky marijuana stench. And if
you speak to somebody who cleans up the rooms after
the tokers are out of there, out of the you know,
the pot smokers are out of the rooms, they can't
even get the smell out of the room. That's how
(05:52):
pervasive it is.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
They go deep clean, they still can't get the smell.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
If I walk off of the elevator onto a floor
or in a hotel and there's been marijuana, you can
smell it. I can smell it. It's nasty. But that's
not the only thing that it does. Marijuana has been
found to reduce brain flow in the brain, that's what
study authors suggest, and that it may increase the risk
(06:17):
of dementia. Marijuana also users have higher levels of having
a metal poisoning in their bloodstream and their urine. Having
metals such as mercury and cadmium can cause you to
lose your memory and have dementia and or Alzheimer's disease. Yes,
there are a lot of things associated with marijuana use.
It was a bad news thing when we legalized it
(06:40):
well and promoted it as it is today. Even the
country of Thailand, they're now recriminalizing recreational marijuana. I'm not
saying to make it a criminal event event here in
America at all. They have now reinstituted getting rid of
(07:03):
marijuana because they saw such a spike in criminal activity
and hospital related events and people getting sick. In the
country of Thailand where I was recently, they shut it down.
And I'm not suggesting you know any of that. I'm
(07:23):
just reporting the news to you. Just wanted you to know.
All right, Let's get to your telephone calls and questions now,
and let's begin.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
With Steve in Elebanon, Oregon.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Hi, doctor Bob. My name is Steve from Lebanon, Oregon.
I have recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I have
a gleas and score of seven. As far as I know,
my best options are either removed the prostate or radiology.
And which do you think is my best option?
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Okay, Steve, sorry to hear that you've got a cancer diagnosis.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
There.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
A Gleason's score of seven is considered like a medium
grade as it relates to prostate cancer. You have likely
had this prostate cancer, Steve for many, many, many years.
I don't know your age or your general health status,
(08:26):
which is important, but typically men between the ages of
sixty and sixty nine ers suggested to have radiation when
they have prostate cancer at a certain stage in a
Gleason score, and men seventy years and older, it may
be the best not to perform any aggressive medical procedure,
including radiation or surgery, because they are likely to outlive
(08:52):
their cancer and die of something else aside from the
cancer itself. So why leave them in diapers by removing
their prostate glan or radiating their price prostatect lan and
causing other problems that they otherwise didn't.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
Have because they'd outlive it.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
However, if you were my brother or my best friend,
I would encourage you to get a true second opinion
as to what other options that you have besides cut,
burn or poison, as in what you know orthodox conventional
medical care, which may be necessary offers up. So if
(09:28):
you want to get a true second opinion, maybe you
need to reach out to some alternative cancer clinics that
are right here in the United States that do very
good work and some of them combine both conventional care
along with alternative care, which I think could be the
best of both worlds in many cases. And if you're
unaware of any of the cancer alternative clinics, you can
(09:51):
give a call to one that I'm aware of called
en Vita Medical Center and Vita Medical Center. They're in Scottsdale, Arizona,
and they offer a lot of alternative along with conventional
treatments combined. You might check them out. And Vita Medical Center.
I think they're at en Vida in Vida dot com
(10:13):
or and Vita Medical dot com. You might want to
check that and see what they have to say. Just
have a consultation with them, and you know, ask them
the very questions that you asked me and see if
you get a different answer, and continue to perform due diligence.
Check out other places and see if you can come
up with something that you're comfortable with a decision that
(10:37):
you make based on your research and due diligence as
opposed to a doctor's recommendation. Who's going to stand to
benefit financially from treating you with whatever skill set they have?
Speaker 3 (10:51):
All right? I wish you well, though, sir and good
health to you.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
All right, we're coming right back with more phone calls
than the health alternative of the week.
Speaker 3 (10:58):

Speaker 1 (11:03):

Speaker 3 (11:04):

(15:00):
our toll free number, Health questions and health comments at
eight hundred six zero six eight eight to two to two.
Next up is Jonna in Walla, Walla, Washington.
Speaker 5 (15:10):
Hello, doctor Bob Martin. This is Johona Fault and Walla Walla,
Washington State. I have a question about lowing your blood pressure.
I was just recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and
a doctor wanted to give me a drug called low
(15:36):
thirtne los s U R T O n E. And
I have problems under trying to understand that because I
have chemical sensitivities in my past and I don't usually
do prescription drugs. This is a first. I'd like your
opinion of that. If there's an alternative, and I don't
(15:58):
have any reason in my system for my blood pressure
to be that high. It's not was my lifestyle or
anything or my diet. We can't quite figure it out.
But thank you very much for your time. Thank you,
bye bye.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
All right, John, thank you for your phone call. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
One thing I want you to do is start measuring
your blood pressure at home if you're not doing it already,
to see if it matches up what happens in your
doctor's office. To make sure you're not just developing white
coat syndrome, which means you go into the doctor's office
and your blood pressure is elevated and your doctor wants
you to put you on.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
High blood pressure drugs.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Now, I assume you're not overweight, you don't smoke, you
get regular exercise, and you eat a clean diet, and
your stress is low. Because those are all risk factors
associated with hypertension or high blood pressure. But given those
things out of the equation, there are things you can
do to naturally manage blood pressure. There's a formula called
(16:55):
healthy blood Pressure by Terry Naturally vitamins and blood Pressure
Health Formula one oh nine by Kyolic Kyolic blood Pressure
Health Formula one oh nine, and Healthy blood Pressure that's
the name of the supplement by Teary Naturally viems. These
can be found in health food stores and they're safe
(17:16):
and they are effective. I'm not telling you not to
take your doctor's recommendations, but you're asking for options, and
there you have it. As long as you're measuring your
blood pressure and it stays in a good range, by
doing these things, you will be better off. Thank you
for your call. Next up, well, we don't have any name,
but it's a person calling in from the state of California.
Speaker 7 (17:35):
Hi, Bob, I'm calling from California. I was wondering on
your next show if you could talk about what foods
are gmoh, I'm a little confused about what not to
get and if beans, rice and nuts are on that list. Anyway,
thank you and I love your show. Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Okay bye, all right, well, thank you for your phone call.
Whoever you are. You neglected to state your name, and
that's fine.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
Well.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
GMO, folks, stands for genetically modified organisms. And through this
GMO technology, which is here to stay, scientists have produced
crops that resist, you know, when they can go to
the marketplace. They resist spoiling and have longer shelf life.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
That's what it's about.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
Because they can spray the crops with glyphosate and other insecticides, fungicides, pesticides,
and so what happens is they make these plants, they
splice these plants to resist dying from the weed killer.
So the weed killer kills the pesticides and the insects,
(18:46):
but not the plant. And so you end up as
a consumer end stage sucking in or taking in these
GMO or genetically modified organisms and the toxicity of the
sprays that are going on these plants. And I'm talking
about things that like canola oil terrible for you, corn
(19:09):
papias and these aren't necessarily bad for you, but they
are the ones that are most genetically messed with, and
the ones that are genetically modified now canola corn, papaya, soy,
sugar beets, yellow squash, and even zucchini. Glycoside is an
herbicide used in the production of these genetically modified and
(19:32):
resistant plants so that they can survive the spray. And
that's why it's important to eat whenever possible organic fresh
fruits and vegetables organic whenever possible. All right, Next up
is Polly in Shreeve, Ohio.
Speaker 8 (19:48):
My name is Polly from Shrieve, Ohio, and I had
a colonoscopede done and a polyup was taken out. I
was still bleeding. There was bigger hemorrhoids up inside. So
I went to a specialist and he bandoned one. It
came out about a week after he did. I thought
(20:10):
that I basically had to pass gas and it was
just solid blood that came out, dripping down my legs.
I went to the bathroom immediately sat on the toilet
and it was straight blood coming out, solid blood, and
then I wiped. I cleaned the toilet up, cleaned myself up,
went up my house and got all cleaned up, change clothes.
(20:33):
I felt the bubbling going on again. Long story short,
I did that like four times in a row.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Wow, TMI on that call, right, folks, poor guy Paulie.
I will answer this question when we finish with the
health outrage of the week which is coming up about
his situation.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Stay tuned. I'm doctor Bob Martin.
Speaker 9 (21:00):
Everybody's got a fame, mistakes, but everybody's got a choice
to make.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Everybody needs a leap of faith.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
WHENNY taking yours money, you infhote.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Doctor Bob Martching back with you. Thank you for tuning
into the program today. Remember to stay in touch with
us via my website and all the latest breaking news
over at doctor Bob dot com, d octu r bob
dot com.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
You also should.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Jot down the caller hotline phone number the Doctor Bob
Martin Show caller hotline phone verse should you ever need
it to ask a question about your own health or
somebody else's health, or to make a health comment. That
number eight hundred six zero six eight eight two two
eight hundred six zero six eight eight two two one
eight hundred six zero six eighty eight twenty two. Now
I'll get back to Paully's answer with his question with
(21:57):
a hemorrhoid having a colon oscar bee which was from Hell.
I guess sound from the sound of it, and my
answer to him. Plus this week's health outrage of the week.
I'll get to that as well, but first this speaking
of the importance of eating fresh fruits and vegetables and
the nutrients that they give your body so that it
(22:19):
can properly repair itself, mend injuries, and supply you with
the necessary nutrients to keep your immune system strong. Think
in terms of ronia berries, have you heard of a
ronia berries spelled a r nia Ronia berries? Arona berries
are considered the king of superfruits and are rich in
(22:40):
nutrients and antioxidants. Aronia berries contain something called phenolic compounds,
which helps the plant to naturally resist disease and premature desks.
That's how they have evolved and when we as humans
eat ronia berries, when we ingest them, they have been
shown to be natural anti inflammatory and have a variety
(23:03):
of conditions to reduce risk of cancer and diabetes and
cardiovascular disease and kidney problems and livery issues and metabolic problems.
Aronia berries are amazing and it's worthy to note that
scientific studies have proven and subsequently published in peer reviewed
scientific journals that two of ronia berries, some of the
(23:26):
ingredients in there have health giving compounds that were found
to show potential against flu activity. And so now go
out and find organic ronia berries and have a little
bit of those every single day.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
It's cost effective.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
But if you can't find organic ronia berries in your community,
you can also take it in a supplement form called
Erronia Barry Complex by Terry Natural Vitamins. It contains Aronaberry
Extract AB forty, which delivers a concentrated and consists and
source of this amazing superfruit. Also, Roniaberry Complex includes French
(24:06):
grape seed Extract VX one grape seed extracts, an incredible
and effective botanical for strong heart muscle function, arterial protection
and great healthy blood pressure levels as well as cholesterol balance.
So look for Ronia Berry Complex at finer health food
stores by Terry Naturally Vitamins. You can also go to
(24:28):
their website Terry Naturally Vitamins dot com Terry Naturalivitamins dot
com and you're looking for Aronia berry complex. All right,
it's time now for the health outrage of the weeks.
Speaker 10 (24:45):
I don't believe it.
Speaker 9 (24:48):
Come on each to for the health aubridge because it's nothing.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Bullet Oh, this is so outrageous. So hospitals gave pay
She's medical drugs during childbirth then reported them for illicit
drug use. Listen to these outrages. Amara Selena's age, I'm
(25:15):
not sure what a she was. She was thirty two
weeks pregnant with her fourth child about a year ago
when doctors at a Texas hospital discovered that her baby
no longer had a heartbeat. As they prepped her for
an emergency cesarean section C section, they gave her mitasolum,
(25:35):
a menzodiazepin drug commonly prescribed to keep patients calm. Otherwise
valiums in that same category.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
By the way, a.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Day later, the grieving mother was cradling her stillborn daughter
when a social worker stopped in her room to deliver
another devastating blow. Miss Selenis was being reported to child
weyh welfare authorities. The drug test had turned up traces
of benzodiazepin, which are the drugs she was given before
(26:09):
they did the C section, the very medication the staff
administered before wheeling her into surgery. So here she gets
reported for the very drugs that she was given in
the hospital to Child Protection Services. How outrageous can you get?
Here's another example. Victoria Villanueva, pregnant with her first child.
(26:34):
The drug detected in her baby's system was morphine. Miss
Vellezuela had arrived at an Indiana hospital at forty one
weeks to have her labor induced to ease her pain
of her birth contractions. Doctors gave her narcotics. A day later,
a social worker told the new mother the baby's maconium,
(27:00):
or first bowel movement, had tested positive for opiates. Now,
instead of bonding with her baby, Miss Villainuea shook, shook
with fear that her newborn baby could be taken away.
She said an I quote, I didn't even know how
to function.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
She recalled.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
So here's the hospitals giving her a narcotic, and then
they detect the narcotic immediately in the baby's stool because
it goes right through the barrier, placental barrier into the baby.
And now they're looking at her as baby abuse because
she was given a drug in the hospital. This is
(27:39):
what goes on so many times, and you don't realize it.
In hospitals with obstetrical care. That needs to change these
poor women. It is outrageous that this kind of activity
goes on, but it does, and that's why it qualified
as the health outrage of the week. All right, let's
get right back to work with your tele phone calls
(28:00):
and questions. I wanted to answer this call by PAULI
that had called in earlier. He went to a proctologist.
He had a colonoscopy and started bleeding because they clipped
a know, a polyp while he was in the procedure.
(28:22):
Because it's true that more colon cancer does occur near
where polyps are chronic irritation, but now he's bleeding like
a sieve and then they don't know what to do. Well, Paul,
if you're still listening, you may want to start drinking
yarrot three to six cups of that a day, along
with ala Vera drinks to help sue the irritated colon
lining to help stop the bleeding.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
Yarrot does a good job of that.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Also, anybody out there who is considering having a colonoscopy
should go over to my website and read the top
thirty things to know before choosing a colonoscopy.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
It's on my website at doctor bos.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Spell out the word doctor doctor Bob dot com and
then click on the button self help. You need to
know what you're getting into with these colonoscopies. The thirty
things to know. This is all taken out of medical
journals before having a colonoscopy. It's under self help. Tap
the self help button on my website there at the
top and read about it. You'll be shocked like I was,
(29:22):
but you still need to be informed. All right, back
to the phones. Next up is Julie and Lake has
Oh we're not going to have time for Julie. We'll
take her in the next break, but stay tuned because
Julie is going to be asking about diabetes and.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
Her A one C.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
I know a lot of people in the audience today
are concerned about blood sugar. They have higher than normal
A one c's and they want to know how to
handle the problem without taking drugs.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
You'll learn about it after this break, So stay tuned.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
You're tuned into the Doctor Bob Markton Show and we
will be right back.
Speaker 9 (30:05):
So above service number Simoncible the old one ever single up.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
And welcome. You're welcome. You back to the Doctor Bob
Martin Show.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
We'll get to the next caller, Julian Lake Havasu, Arizona,
shortly here.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
But we have two features.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
That I wanted to squeeze into the show before the
show finishes this hour. The product recall first, and then
the top ten list of risks associated with marijuana use.
Since I talked about marijuana in the opening segment, Elton
John the music icon his shocking comments about marijuana and
(31:09):
its legalization. If you didn't hear that, you can hear
it in the podcast library over at doctor Bob dot
Com this coming week. But let's get too now. The
product recall of the week. The company Stanley Tools recalls
more than two point five million travel mugs over possible
(31:29):
burn hazards. Stanley, Well, I guess they're a drinkwear company
brand that exploded in popularity on social media, issued a
recall of two point six million travel mugs over potential
burn hazards, The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced in a release.
The recall applies specifically to all stan Lee's switchback and
(31:51):
trigger action stainless steel travel mugs sold in the United States,
So if you've got one of those tumblers from twelve
to twenty ounces in a variety of colors, whether it's white, black,
or green. Take it back at your money back, don't
get burned. That's the product recall of the week. All right,
(32:12):
we move from the product recall of the week to
the top ten health risks associated with marijuana use. Here
go number ten on the list. As music icon Elton
John has pointed out in many other people, Number ten
on the list of top ten health risks associated with
(32:33):
using marijuana addiction. Marijuana is addictive and it's a gateway
to other more danger strugs. Number nine on the list.
Adolescent brain development. Adolescence to start on marijuana early screw
their brain up big time. If you're smoking marijuana and
you think you're going to drive a car correctly, you're
(32:54):
wrong because traffic collisions have gone up in places where
marijuana has been egalize. Number seven on the list of
top ten risk associated with marijuana hallucinations, number six, impaired memory.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
Number five.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
You can actually get anxious from smoking marijuana. That's number five,
and number four is depressed, so you can go either way.
It's like a roller coaster ride. Number three in the
list of top ten health risks associated with marijuana use cancer,
including testicular cancer. Now this is not me saying that
this has all been scientifically proven, but I know you're
(33:30):
If you're a toker, you're committed to it.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
I get it, enjoy it. Your choice.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Number two in the list of top ten health risks
associated with marijuana use psychosis and schizophrenia. I've seen this
in my own practice with our patients who have come
in who.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
Admitted they were smoking marijuana. And the number one.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
Risk of smoking marijuana lung damage. Can you say asthma COPD,
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema even more common in marijuana
smokers than tobacco users. Plus, smoking marijuana increases the risk
of mouth, tongue, and lung cancer. So if you smoke marijuana,
(34:12):
live real close to a real hospital that provides cancer
treatment and psychological treatment and everything else. Because if you're
a heavy marijuana smoker, that may come to rain on
you someday.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
I don't want to.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Reconsider your situation. All right, there, you have it all
right Back to the.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
Julie in Lake havisiou Arizona.
Speaker 5 (34:36):
Hi.
Speaker 11 (34:36):
My name is Julie and I'm from Lake have Asioux City, Arizona,
and my health question is my A one C for
the last twelve years has slowly climbed and now it's
at five point seven. I don't I'm not a diabetic
and the medical doctors can't help me. What can I
(34:58):
do to get that down? Thank you very much. I
appreciate your show so much, Doctor Bob.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
I appreciate you too, Julian, thank you for your call.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Well one to get lower A one C and type
two diabetes is totally reversible and totally preventable, does not
require drugs if you pay attention to what you're doing,
and I know you will, exercising at least three times
a week. That means aerobic and resistance, maybe twenty minutes
of aerobic to warm up and then maybe forty minutes
(35:28):
of resistance exercise per week. That combo works really, really well.
Avoid all fruit juices. A lot of people think, oh,
fruit juice is healthy. Not when you have blood sugar problems,
unless it's Tahiti Trader Island style, which is really not
something that's going to spike your blood sugar. You should avoid,
of course, all sweets, desserts, white flour anything and avoid
(35:51):
ice cream, soda, pop and alcohol. All of them will
spike your blood sugar and make that a one c rise.
There's also supplements that you can take in the marketplace.
I know that Terry Naturally Vitamins makes a supplement healthy
blood sugar. I think Kyolic makes one also healthy blood
(36:13):
sugar control. I think it's formula one twelve. So go
into the health food store. They'll help you find something.
But realize, Julie, that part of it has to do
with what you're going to be doing on a regular basis,
which is making good decisions about what you put in
your mouth and making the decision to on a regular
basis exercise.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
That's the key.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
Those are the keys, and then from there, the easy,
the almost passive part of it is to take supplements
that help the body to get the nutrients it needs,
to better manage blood sugar and to resensitize those insulin
receptors so that you can get the blood sugar out
of the stream and into the selfur using it as energy,
(36:56):
which I gave you a couple of options there. Appreciate
your phone call.
Speaker 10 (37:01):
Be well.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
I'm doctor Bob Martin. This is my son.
Speaker 6 (37:06):
Take my life not tis.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
All right.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
So the co pilot of the Doctor Bob Martin Show,
Phil made an executive decision to tell me that I'm
going too long today, so we're going to skip the
health mystery of the week in favor of taking more
of your telephone calls and your questions. Uh So, next
up is Dwyane in Lansing, Iowa.
Speaker 10 (37:48):
Dwayne Lanty and Iowa, I missed the program. Let me
talk about I have my budget in my ear, so
you didn't have appeel for it. But I'm a farmer.
I did write it down quick enough, so I just
(38:10):
want to get back to and find out what that was.
And another thing I wanted was I'm underthly dial so
I don't know where Seeded Rapids Natural Groceries is that
Is there one in Lacrosse? The concert? That's all.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
Thank you, bun okay, Dwayne, thank you for your call.
Ringing in the years is just an incessant, insane kind
of thing. You can find the formula that I believe
you're talking about ringstop.
Speaker 3 (38:43):
You can do a Google search on it.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
And yes, natural grocers stores should sell ringstop for ringing
in the ears of tonightis and you If you want
to find the closest natural grocery store to where you live,
just log on to your Internet and type in naturalgrocers
dot com naturalgrocers dot com. Now, remember, with ringing in
(39:05):
the air, caffeine makes it worse, ibuprofen makes it worse,
aspirin makes it worse. Is about two hundred and fifty
drugs that increase ringing in the ear, so be aware
of that. Appreciate your phone call. Next is Vaughn in Beaumont, Texas.
Speaker 12 (39:21):
Yes, this is Vaughan from Beaumont, Texas. I was looking
at my hematology report and my MCHC is thirty two.
It's low. The bottom range should be thirty three and above.
(39:45):
And also my MPV is high. It's eleven point six
and the top range is ten point seven. I was
wondering would make MPV high and what would make MCC low.
(40:07):
Thank you very much, I'll be.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
Listening, okay, Vaughan, thank you for your call. First of all,
it's best to understand your entire CBC or your complete
blood count with the numbers. But I'll let you know
that the MCCHC stands for mean corpuscular hemoglobe and concentration,
and the MCV stands for mean corpuscular volume. These are
likely indicating of VON that you have a vitamin B
(40:31):
twelve and folate deficiency. These are things that are deficient
in your diet. So I recommend you go to the
health food store and you get methylated, be complex, methylated,
be complex, and get started on taking that maybe once
in the morning and once at noon time, and that
should help those numbers get better over time. Appreciate your call.
(40:53):
I'm doctor Bob Martin.
Speaker 8 (40:54):
Be well,
