(02:51):
library is there. The social media platform triggers are there, Instagram,
x LinkedIn. It's all there at doctor Bob dot com.
Spell it out, doctr bob dot com. All right, we
begin this hour talking about this latest fad. It won't
go away. It's not gonna go away. There's too much

(03:11):
profitability in it. What am I talking about. I'm talking
about GLP one drugs, those drugs called and you see
the television ads ad nauseum, now about ozimpic, wagaby and
all the other ones du jure. They're all over the place.
People are saying, look, I don't have to exercise anymore,

(03:33):
I don't have to eat right, I can just do
whatever I want. And when I need to lose some weight,
just start taking these injections. And look at them weight
coming off of these people on televisions, movie stars, these newspeople. Wow,
looks like something I'd be interested in. But what doesn't

(03:54):
appear is the potential adverse side effects. And they just
keep on coming. What do you mean, doctor Bob, Well,
the latest on the weight loss drug Ozambic and others
like it. It may cause blindness. Oh yeah, but it's
not me saying that. It's the Journal of the American
Medical Association Ophthalmology. Recently published study in the jama Optalmology

(04:20):
from Harvard Medical School and Mass Eye and Ear found
evidence that the active ingredient in these drugs for weight
loss these days, and I know a lot of you
have set your New Year's resolution as to being thinner
in twenty twenty five, and you want to drop some
poundage because you're not fitting into your clothes as well

(04:43):
as you used to, and you don't like what you
see staring back at you in the mirror. I understand that,
And so you're looking for a fast way, because that's
how we are indoctrinated in the United States. You know,
put it in a microwave of it, take an injection,
swallow a pill, don't cope, just take dope. Relief is

(05:05):
just as swallow away. That's what we are engaging in,
and it's what we are brainwashed into believing. But there
are inherent risks associated with that. You fool with Mother Nature,
You're gonna get burned. And this is another reminder of
that this drug class semi glue tide in the trendy
GLP one weight loss drugs like weggaby ozebic can in

(05:30):
certain cases. It's not as often as most of the
other side effects, but you can have blindness.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Ah.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yes, the medical drug spin they oh, it's gonna be rare.
You can do it, but it'll be rare. Isn't it
worth risking your vision for losing some weight? Uh No,
it's only rare in the case of people don't get it.

(05:59):
It's not rare if you happen to be one of
these people who take one of these GLP one drugs
for weight loss and suddenly you're blind. Now, it doesn't
become so rare, these trendy drugs that double your risk
of blindness. Now. Two independent studies from the University of
Southern Denmark support the findings of the ophthalmologists from Harvard,

(06:25):
finding that the popular weight loss drug they also of
course use it for diabetes as a diabetes drug, more
than doubles the risk of a severely debilitating eye condition
called non arturetic anterior eschemic optic neuropathy. Say that ten

(06:46):
times in a row otherwise known as NION for the acronymnion.
You take these drugs and you risk getting nion, which
ultimately causes the risk of NION is the damage of
the optic nerve that is caused by a sudden stop

(07:08):
of blood flow. It is an irreversible condition that can
lead to sudden, severe and permanent loss of vision. That
according to Jacob Goslin, Professor of Ophtalmology at the Department
of Clinical Research SDU and Department of Optalmology at Odense
University Hospital, NION, which is that condition called non arterretic

(07:36):
anterior ischemic opthic neuropathy, often develops in those with an
elevated risk of cardiovascular disease. Well, let's see what that is.
You might be saying, Well, I don't have a risk
of cardiovascular disease, so I'm a candidate for these GLP
one weight loss drugs like ozampic andwegavy. Well wait a minute,
on a minute. One in five people in the US

(07:58):
die of heart disease one in five, and they a
great number of them, twenty five to forty percent don't
even know they have any heart problems whatsoever when they
keel over, because the first thing is the last thing
they will note heart attack, So risks happen. Other risks
of people who can develop blindness from this class of drugs,

(08:21):
or people who have sleep apnea. Can you say people
who snored first and then developed into sleep apnea. Also,
age is a factor. The risk goes up with age.
The older you are when you start these drugs ozambic,
weggavy and GLP one drugs in general, the higher the

(08:41):
risk of going blind. If you have diabetes another one, well,
that's a this drug is actually used for diabetes. If
you have high cholesterol levels, you are at a greater
risk of taking these weight loss drugs GLP one drugs,
you are at a greater risk of blindness than if
you don't have high cholesterol. High blood pressure is another one.
So the list goes on and on. These are called

(09:03):
corel morbidities, meaning if you have some other condition that
existed prior to taking the golp one drugs, the ozambic,
wagaby and the others, your risk of blindness goes up.
It doubles at least well. The exact causes are not
fully understood. These golp one drug usage is the second

(09:29):
most common cause of optic damage induced blindness. Now I
dare say that the average person who's involved in this
fad of weight loss with these GLP one drugs doesn't
understand because somebody hasn't explained to them that they're risking

(09:50):
a long list of problems. Because I've covered this in
the past, and I'm not going to cover it here.
I want to focus in on your vision. What's your
vision worth? I don't if I took ten people in
a row that are doing these drugs and said, hey,
by the way, I understand you're taking gop one drugs.
Do you know that it doubles your risk of blindness?
I can just about guarantee you not a single one

(10:12):
of them out of the ten would say, oh, I yeah,
I'm I'm aware of that. But you know what, this
twenty five pounds is worth me getting it off and
losing the weight. And I don't care if I go blind. No, no, no,
that would be ridiculous, right of course it would. So
you have all these studies showing that this drug is problematic,

(10:37):
and if you after this, if you continue to take it,
I suggest you live real close to a real braille
center where you can learn brail, because if you go blind,
you'll be having to learn brail not good. We'll go
to phone calls right after this. Stay with us. You

(10:58):
are tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin's show.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Just GiB.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
You're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show. Thank you
for that. That be new year to you. We are
now entering into answering questions from our listeners. People who
are listening to the show who have some type of
health concern, a health challenge, a dilemma, a quagmire, an issue.

(11:43):
I'm here for them, I'm here for you. It's really simple.
You're gonna hear people calling into the program and me
answering their questions, and you can do the very same thing.
Should you have a health problem, here for you and
I'll do my best to help you out. So if
you want to call in with a question about your
own health through somebody else's health, that's fine, or just
want to lay down a health comment, which we have

(12:06):
some of those coming up you don't want to miss.
The number is eight hundred six zero six eight eight
two two eight hundred six zero six eight eight two
two or one eight hundred six zero six eighty eight
twenty two. And the website to stay anchored to the
show always and the podcast library and all the news

(12:26):
from around the globe. Doctor Bob dot com, spell out
doctor doc tr bob dot com. All right, let's get
to the phone calls. Next on the phone is Caroline,
who's going in from Reno, Nevada.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Hi, Doctor Bob. My name is Carolyn. I'm in Reno, Nevada.
I've had an EMG that show severe medium nerve damage.
They want to do carpal tunnel surgery. I do have
them and the two fingers that are numb. I am

(13:05):
taking new rotten, which is helped tremendously, but the thumb
is still kind of numb. Just when it gives any
possible way I could avoid the surgery. I don't want
to encounter more nerve damage to where it's permanent. I'm
in a dilemma. I do not know what to do.

(13:26):
Thank you so very much. We appreciate you, Carolyn.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Sorry to hear that, and I thank you for calling
in your question here. I have treated probably hundreds of
cases of carpal tunnel syndrome, and I'm here to tell
you that the surgery is something that you want to
try to avoid at all costs. There's no guarantee that
surgery is going to help you. In fact, it's trauma

(13:53):
on top of an already traumatized wrist. You're gonna have
scar tissue if they do surgery. Car tissue blocks stuff,
and who knows what else could happen. You may need
another one and another one. I've seen multiple attempts at
carpal tunnel surgery to no avail. So avoid it if
he can. But you got to find out what their

(14:14):
problem is. And if you haven't had an opportunity to
have an expert in risk function and structural integrity evaluate
you from a non surgical, non medical injection, non medical
drug vantage point, you're missing the boat. There's got to

(14:35):
be a doctor there in Rina Nevada who is trained
in applied kinesiology to evaluate your wrist function to be
able to trace the nerve entrapment where it's coming from,
because sometimes it's not just in the wrist. It could
be in the elbow, it could be in the shoulder,
it could be in your neck. And if somebody is

(14:55):
doing a terrific carpal tunnel surgery in your wrist and
there's compression up above that in your elbow or your
shoulder or your neck. You're not going to get better,
So you need the whole area from your wrist all
the way to your neck evaluated because that's where that
nerve is traced back too, before it goes up into
your brain to communicate with the rest of your extremity.

(15:18):
So find yourself a chiropractic physician in Reno, Nevada that's
trained in applied kinesiology. Go in evaluate. The doctor's going
to do a test on you called the opponents test,
the Opponent's test, and from that and other tests that
they can perform, they will be able to know whether
or not conservative management of this issue is going to

(15:42):
be able to help you. We see often in the
wrist misalignment of the pisiform bone, the bones in the wrist,
your alna, your radius, your elbow, your shoulder, your neck,
all of those need to be managed in order to
get the best result pattern here, and it may require

(16:03):
additional therapies on top of gentle manipulations of this area
and then ultimately exercise rehab. I would consider acupuncture, massage therapy,
I would consider soft wave therapy. You've got a full
court press here that needs to happen. You shouldn't just
hail Mary and say I'm just gonna go in and
have it taken care of it. Have the surgery, because

(16:25):
it may be the worst mistake you've ever made, because
once you operate and traumatize that that risk will never
ever be the same. You can't unoperate a botched surgery.
There's gonna be scar tissue and degenerative changes that happen
from that trauma. So avoid it if you can take

(16:46):
a conservative approach first, liberal second, radical last. Do not
go radical first and then try to fix it after
the fact. I've seen that too, and that's hard. But
I do wish you well and I appreciate you calling
into the show. Caroline, all right. Next up is Mollie
in Haburn, Idaho.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Hi, Doctor Bob. I want to let you know how
much my husband and I appreciate your program. We are very,
very adamant about listening to your good news. My name
is Mollie and I'm calling from Hayburn, Idaho. I want
to know if there is any supplement or herb I

(17:27):
can take to rid myself of a gaglian cyst I
have on my wrist. I eat healthy, whole foods and
along with supplements for vitamins. Thank you so much, and
I will be listening to see what you have to say.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
Bye bye, all right, Mollie in Idaho, thank you for
your call up. No, there are no nutritional supplements that
can really get rid of ganglionic cysts. These are cysts
that happen due to trauma, due to injury in and
around the wrist area. I've seen him over the years

(18:06):
in the old days. Don't do this, by the way,
don't do what I'm telling you. They used to put
this down. They used to put the wrist down. They
see the bubble there on the wrist and they slam
a big book on it to try to break that bubble,
that ganglionic cyst. Don't do that because a lot of
fractures happened in the wrist area from banging big books
and large objects to try to break open those gangli

(18:28):
onic cysts. These are usually benign, but they can't interfere
with other soft tissue structures. The best way to treat
these is to go to the health food store and
get some roll on DMSO. DMSO is kind of a
solvent that can get through there and start to help
breaking these cysts up. That's what we need to do
every day. Take the DMSO, maybe squeeze out a vitamin

(18:53):
ecapsule right over the top of the ganglionic cyst, and
just massage it aggressively two or three times a day.
Find a doctor there in your city that can offer
softwave therapy. This is the same kind of therapy that
they use at breaking up kidney stones and bladderstones. It's

(19:15):
a form of lithotripsy, except it's a little different frequency,
and you can use it for these types of cysts
and other problems, injuries and everything else. Stuff's amazing. Softwave
or shockwave therapy is what it's called. Usually it's performed
in chiropractors' offices and other healthcare providers. I think the

(19:36):
combination of you using the DMSO roll on which you
can get at the health food store, along with vitamin E,
massaging that three or four times a day yourself aggressively,
and then getting a series of softwave therapy treatments over
this cyst area is going to be your best bet.

(19:56):
Is going to be the way to approach this. They
used to try to inject this and draw these things
out and open them up and take them out they
would come right back, So you want to just mobilize it,
try to improve the circulation to the area, with the
idea that your body will eventually resorb the build up

(20:18):
of this tissue and whatever injury that caused it is
in the rearview mirror and there's not structural problems in
and around the area that can cause it to come back,
and the chiropractic physician will be able to evaluate that
and tell you if there's some mechanical problems there, they'll
be able to fix it right there on the spot. Okay,

(20:41):
all right, Molly, appreciate you calling that into the show.
Ladies and gentlemen, stick around because when we come back,
we're gonna get right back into phone calls. Your questions
the number eight hundred six zero six eight eight two
two eight hundred six zero six eight e two to two.
You're it tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin's show. Are

(21:03):
you waiting for the right excuse?

Speaker 5 (21:05):
Are you waiting for sign and choose?

Speaker 3 (21:09):
Why are you waiting?

Speaker 2 (21:09):
It's time?

Speaker 5 (21:10):
Is money in fine time?

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Phone?

Speaker 2 (21:28):
What are you in? Doctor Bob marching back with you
so appreciate you tuning into the program today. We'll get
back to telephone calls and health related questions and comments
very shortly. Here and you've been listening to people calling
into the program. It's that simple, folks, in the privacy

(21:49):
and comfort of your home, just pick up the telephone
when you think of a health problem that you have
that you want help with. I'm here for you, and
I'll do my best to help you out. You simply
dial in. You'll hear me answer the phone. I'll ask
you to state your first name. Make sure your radio
is turned down before you do it, so it's not
blaring in the background distracting me from hearing your question

(22:12):
and the listeners. State your first name, the city and
state you're living in, and then your question about health
or your health related comment. Try to make it as
brief as you can, and I'll do my best to
answer your question. In fact, after we do this messaging,
I'm gonna get right back to a phone calls. In fact,
we have a stroker coming up. I'll get my co

(22:35):
pilot fill a little lead in. We've got a stroker
call coming up. And when you hear somebody doing a stroker,
you're gonna hear some interesting music. We love to get strokers,
and we've been high and dry on one of those lately,
so you'll be treated to that very shortly. But before
we get to that, I wanted to remind you how
important it is for you to consume on a regular

(22:57):
basis fruits, particularly superfruits. These are fruits that have more
nutrition in them than regular fruits. Have you heard of
fruit superfruits like ronia berries. They're considered one of the
kings of superfruits because they're rich in nutrients and antioxidants.
Ronia berries contain these elements called phenolic compounds, which naturally

(23:20):
help the plant because they've evolved over thousands of years.
They help the plant to resist disease and premature deaths.
So when we consume these ronia berries, and all you
need is a handful or so of these ronia berries,
humans have been shown to be provided from the berries
anti inflammatory properties. It's like taking anti inflammatory drugs, of

(23:43):
course in a diluted form that won't harm you. And
consuming these superfruits, also in the literature, has been shown
to help reduce the risk of diabetes and heart disease,
and kidney problems, liver problems, even the Big Sea cancer.
It is worthy to note that scientific studies have proven
and subsequently published in peer reviewed scientific journals that ronia

(24:08):
berries have many health giving compounds that show the potential
to reduce the risk of influenza and other viral issues.
So now go out and find out how to get
a hold of organic ronia berries. You can find them
in grocery stores, especially like a natural grocery store. Get

(24:28):
the organic ronia berries, take a little bit of those
in each day, and if that's not convenient for you
or you cannot find organic ronia berries. And Ronia is
spelled a ro nia. Ronia berries is superfruits with all
these goodies in them, these natural phenola compounds that protect
your health. You can take it in a supplemental form

(24:50):
in something called Ronia Berry Complex by Terry Naturally Vitamins.
That one contains Ronia berry Extract A, which delivers a
concentrated and consistent source of this amazing superfruit. Additionally, the
Ronia berry Complex supplement includes French grape seed extract VX

(25:12):
one grape seed extract. It's an incredible and effective botanical
for strong heart function, arterial protection, and even healthy blood
pressure and cholesterol balance. So look for Ronia Berry Complex
at finer health food stores under the brand label Terry
Naturally Vitamins. You can also go to Terry Naturally Vitamins

(25:34):
dot com Terry Naturally Vitamins dot com to find Aronia
Berry Complex, a superfruit supplement. All right, let's get right
back to your telephone calls. Next up is Mark in Limestone, Tennessee.

Speaker 6 (25:50):
Mark from Limestone to the Sea. You get an exert
on the clear nasal sway. And after having my whole
live three or four size subfections a year, I was
down to one science fiction in the last fourteen months
or so, and I just want to say thank you.
It's been very helpful.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Wow, I am impressed with that. We have our first stroker. Folks.
Let's go. Well, you've heard it. Some talk show hosts

(26:33):
will stroke themselves on the air, bragging they're so braggadocious
about they're all that telling you how great they are
and so forth and so on. You know, I don't.
I just don't get into that. I try to avoid that.
I let other people stroke me because it feels so
much better when somebody strokes. She was supposed to win
you self stroke. There was a call that came in

(26:57):
mark Limestone, Tennessee. A listener of this radio show who
took some advice that he heard a while ago put
it into action with a chronic health problem for which
he was suffering and his quality of life was probably
circling the drain at least nasally, and upper respiratory system
wasn't working so well, and he simply incorporated something he

(27:21):
heard about on this radio show, the Clear nasal spray
and probably the rescue version of that. There's different ones. Clear,
by the way, is spelled x l ear nasal spray,
which you can find pretty much everywhere these days, health
Food's doors and target, you name it, CBS Radio, it

(27:42):
is there. But the one that I like, the one
my favor, is the Clear x l ear rescue nasal spray.
I don't go anywhere without it because especially on airplanes,
when you're breathing in all those air bad air molecules
and you get those infections in your nasal cavity. Here
you have a guy that's probably tried everything under the
sun medically and it didn't work, and he kept getting

(28:07):
sinus infections, and he drops down from four or five
of them a year to only one a year in
the last fourteen months. What's that worth, ladies and gentlemen.
What a valuable tune in to the radio Mark made
the day that he heard that and put it into action.
Good for you, Mark, I am so glad to hear

(28:28):
that you're feeling better in response to something you learned
on this radio show and put it into action. Clear
x l ear rescue nasal spray. All right, let's get
back to work with more phone calls. Next up is
Frank in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Speaker 7 (28:46):
Yeah, afternoon her, Good morning, doctor bo excuse me, my
name is Frank. Come from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Listen to
your program this morning. I go to the YMCA and
Cedar Rappis it's about every day and there's a lady
that comes in there and she has some health issues
here about a month ago she had gone maybe two
months ago. I couldn't do was there for a while
and turns out she had got her flu shot, her

(29:08):
pneumonia shot, and her COVID shot all the same time.
She was in the hospital for the following week. So
it just shows you how some people have to have
all these shots and what good they do. I don't know,
but my wife won't let me in the house if
I get a flu shot. I haven't had one of
several years, and things seem to be not on wood

(29:29):
doing very well. So I appreciate your comments and rfk's
comments related to that, but I just wouldn't have passed
out alone.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
Have a good day, all right, Frank, I appreciate you
calling that in. I feel bad for the lady who
got the shots and as a result of an adverse
reaction to the shots, which happens, she landed in the hospital. Wow,
feel bad for her, all right, Frank, thanks for the call.
We'll be right back. I'm doctor Bob Martin.

Speaker 5 (30:04):
So good.

Speaker 8 (30:15):
I'm about service number Simon.

Speaker 9 (30:23):
They have one never single.

Speaker 8 (30:26):
Power, most doubtable to do.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
Doctor Bob, marching back with you, taking phone calls on
the topic of health and hopefully knocking them out of
the park. That's what my goal is is to help
you with your most precious possession, with your health. With
your health, you have everything, let's face it, and without
your health you're pretty much bankrupt. It doesn't matter how
many toys you have, how much material wealth you have,

(30:59):
how much money you have in the it doesn't matter
if you don't have your hell. Think about that. We're
here with you and about you each and every week
trying to help those people who need help, who are
otherwise not receiving help. And we do it for free
ninety nine free ninety nine. Where else can you find that? Well,

(31:20):
if you like the show and you think other people
could learn and benefit by tuning into the program, simply
jot down the call letters of the radio station you're
hearing during the breaks, whether the radio station is an
MRFM station, the frequency on the dial, on the time
of the day, and just pass it on to as
many people as you can. Our mission, our goal is

(31:40):
to help as many people as we can. That's it.
And if you have a health stroker like Mark earlier
from Tennessee, like you've heard something on the program, you
put it into action and you've benefited or somebody who
knows benefited. My gosh, we love strokers laying on us.
Call into our toll free number at eight hundred six

(32:03):
zero six eight eight two two one eight hundred six
zero six eighty eight twenty two. And if you've had
an experience or you know about something like Frank, the
last caller from cedar Raps, Iowa, who knew a lady
who went in and had all these shots done, these
flu shots, COVID, and she landed in the hospital. And

(32:24):
you want to share that experience to warn other people
about it. By all means happy to take that comment
and put it on the air to save other people
the grief and the damage that could happen to them.
Eight hundred six zero six eight eight two two is
the number to call to provide that information. All right,

(32:46):
let's get back to work again. Next up, we say
hello to Madeline in a Wahu Hawaiian.

Speaker 10 (32:54):
Waho, Hawaii. I am concerned about son. He has been
coughing for three months. You won't give a doctor and
he has been coughing for three months, and I'd like
to know what I'll do my phone? Oh, I got

(33:15):
to listen to it on the radio. I'll listen to
it on the redio.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
Thank you, Okay, Madeline calling in from uh Let's see
it would be uh am eight thirty khvh and Honolulu beautiful.
Thank you for calling that in on your son. You're
not your son with a three week long cough really
should see a doctor, Madeline. And I don't know why

(33:41):
he hasn't done so yet, but he should just so
somebody can listen to it. He may have pneumonia, This
could be, you know, a life writing situation. We need
to eliminate that. Meanwhile, no reason why you can't go
out and find one of these nebulizers that you can do.
It's like a breathing machine. You bring that in and
you can actually put just a little bit of nanosilver

(34:04):
in the little bolus little cup, and that diffuses nanosilver
in like a mist, and he would breathe that in deeply.
Silver has anti macrobial properties to it. You can get
the ten parts per million silver in the health food
store and then find a way through a medical supply

(34:25):
company or store to buy one of these nebulizers and
get the most sophisticated one you can find. They're usually
around three or four hundred dollars. It's worth it. We
have one here just in case, not that we want
to use it, but we don't want to be without it.
Should somebody develop in our family some deep lung problem
and we can handle it here at home. The other
thing that can he can do for his lungs. I'm

(34:49):
aware of this lung formula that is botanical it's really good.
It's called doctor Tony's Lung Plus. Write that down, Doctor
Tony's Lung Plus. Doctor Tony's a specialist center bology, and
he put together a formula that is fantastic for helping

(35:10):
lung issues for people who are struggling with lung problems.
So you can get a hold of that Doctor Tony's
Lungs Plus. And let me see if I've got the
phone number. I think, yeah, I've got the phone number
here for that. You can find that at area code
eight one eight five seven five seven five five eight.

(35:35):
Doctor Tony's Lung Plus. Eight one eight five seven five
seven five five eight. And I wish your son well,
but get him to a doctor soon, all right. Next
we say hello to Jeff in Hudson, Iowa.

Speaker 11 (35:54):
Doctor Bob, Jeff Hudson, Iowa. Reference your flu shots. I
took it once years ago, got very sick after that.
It's been over thirty years ago. I've not taken it since,
and I don't get the flu. Thank you very much, sir.
I listened to your show quite often.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
All right, Jeff, thank you for listening to the show
and calling in with that comment. I'm not here to
dissuade people from getting flu shots. That's a choice, sho
you I have to make. But when you find out
that they have thermosol in them, which is a neurotoxin,
it's a form of mercury. When you find out there's
aluminum in there, which is another neurotoxin. When you find

(36:36):
out it contains three or four different antibiotics, mona, sodium, glutamate,
Holy score made eighty and all these other chemicals. I
wonder people are getting sick when they get flu shots
and they don't work. They don't work. But again you'll
have to make that call. We'll come back. Stay with us.

(36:58):
You're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show.

Speaker 9 (37:02):
What's wrong within, What's wrong with gin? What's wrong with
the in contentent O, It's time to.

Speaker 5 (37:18):
Get the tea.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
All right, Doctor Bob Martin, back with you, final segment
of this hour. But don't go anywhere. We've still got
a lot to tell you about, some important information to
share with you regarding that last caller and callers in general,
who are you know, they're sort of suspicious about flu shots.
They've heard bad things about them, but yet at the
same time they don't want to get the flu. They

(37:40):
want to know, Hey, how do I protect myself from
flu if I don't do a flu shot? Well, how
about taking vitamin D? Taking like two thousand to five
thousand international units of vitamin D three Vitamin D three
each day will reduce your risk of getting the flu.
That's a fact, and there's no side effect there. Elderberry's
another way to reduce your risk taking a little bit

(38:02):
of black elderberry liquid in. You can get all these
under the health food store. That'll reduce your risk, staying hydrated,
getting plenty of rest, eating right, those are always you
reduce your risk. Let your immune system. We're all gonna
get sick. We need these minor involvements to build antibodies.
I'm not saying go out and get sick. I'm just saying,

(38:22):
when you inject all these poisons into your body via
a flu shot, what do you expect your body reacts
to it adversely? All right, let's go back to the
Phone's finished with Bob in Waterloo, Iowa.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
Yeah, this is Bob. Call them from Waterloo, Iowa.

Speaker 11 (38:40):
I know that sugar is bad for you.

Speaker 7 (38:42):
What about honey? Thank you?

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Okay, quick and fast, that's a good question, Bob. Yeah,
some of the best sweeteners to use if you want
to use sweeteners include monk fruit. Look at that. It
is fantastic, zero cow. It doesn't spike your blood. Sugar
monk fruit sweetener STEVIEA is a good one. Yakkon syrup

(39:07):
is another one you can use. Also, anything's better than
fructose and table sugar and artificial sugars like nutrire sweet
and all those non these nutriture sweeteners. They cause all
kinds of brain related neurological issues. Coconut sugar is another option.
AliOS AliOS is another option. Yeah, and raw honey if

(39:30):
you use it conservatively and don't go overboard. And if
you want it, you know in a raw form, you
can't heat it up because then it becomes something different
if you drop it into hot tea. So there are
options and you should use those. And I'm glad because
you calling into the show, Bob and stating that question

(39:53):
is going to help other people because they may not
know about the options that exist to use as sweeteners
that are not artificial sweeteners like the ones in the
little blue and pink packets which are terrible for you.
And the fact that these Alternative sweeteners exist. You can
find them in health food stores like natural grocers. Monk fruit, stevia,

(40:18):
yakon syrup, coconut sugar, alos and of course, raw honey
would also be an option, certainly better than using refined
table sugar and other forms of sugar. Not good for you.
They pack the weight on you, they spike your blood sugar,

(40:38):
they're inflammatory. Great question, Bob, and I thank you for that.
All Right, ladies and gentlemen, don't go anywhere, because we
haven't got a lot to talk about here on The
Doctor Bob Martin Show.
