six zero six eight eight two two. Eight hundred six
zero six eight eight two two or one eight hundred
six zero six eighty eight twenty two is the phone
number into the Doctor Bob Martin's show. All right, now,
(03:22):
let's begin with this information, more negative news about fooling
Mother Nature with these drugs for weight loss that were
originally intended for diabetes type two. We're talking about the
drugs you're hearing about and being dosed with on television
ad nauseum, ozambic wegav I catch myself even singing those commercials,
(03:47):
uh munjaro. All of it is gop won agonist drugs.
People taking these drugs for weight loss because well, because
they want a full of Mother Nature. They don't want
to exercise, they don't want to eat well, they don't
want to change up their lives, so they just want
quick one weight loss and until when, because as soon
as you stop these drugs, you're gonna gain the weight
back and maybe gain more weight than you initially started with.
(04:10):
So there's nothing being fixed, nothing is being accomplished other
than the short term, uh, gratification of getting into clothes
you may not have otherwise gotten into, but you're gonna
go right back there and maybe even worse. And not
only that, you may be suffering the potential adverts side
effects I'm getting ready to talk about. And that is
the latest warning about this weight loss jab or shot
(04:34):
oh zembic linked to deadly cancer diagnosis in the year
after using them.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
So you're not gonna get.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Cancer, maybe the first two jabs or six, but a
year later, boom, suddenly you're starting to develop problems. You
go to your doctor and you get bad news. You
got cancer. Now, this doesn't happen everybody, but it certainly
can happen. It's a risk factor for sure, along with
all the other seven plus adverse side effect potentials of
this class of drugs. Game changing weight loss shots relied
(05:06):
on at least fifteen million Americans taking these drugs wanting
to lose weight and people who want to get their
blood sugar lower. Diabetics could raise their risk of Here
it is, here's the big one out just now, thyroid cancer.
You do not want thyroid cancer. You don't want cancer
in general. You don't want thyroid cancer. It's the largest
(05:28):
endercann organ in your body. It's so key to so
many functions. Every cell in your body depends on thyroid,
your thyroid function. And this is what's cropping up in
the first year of usage of drugs like ozembic and
their other cousins. That's what concerning. Research is now suggesting
(05:49):
the drugs, which include monjoro, ozembic, wegav and others, have
ushered in a new era in the battle against obesity,
helping dieters to shed up to a fifth of their
body weight. There's no argument that these drugs can drop
massive weight on people.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
But at what risk.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
That's what you have to ask yourself, the question, are
the benefits and the risks in a way themselves out?
I say no, Many doctors say no, But you have
to make that call. But American doctors who tracked get this.
Over three hundred and fifty thousand patients have now discovered.
These injections, these weight loss injections, these golp one drugs, semiglutide, wagaby, ozembic, Mojarna,
(06:37):
all the rest of them.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
They put users.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
At significantly higher risk of a disease compared to three
other common diabetes drugs. We're talking about thyroid cancer here.
It comes as an investigation last week revealed thousands of
people had been hospitalized, some with light life threatening complications
(07:01):
since the rollout of the shots Weggavy, Manjoro and sex
Sax and Deerra, these names of these drugs. In twenty
twenty three, researchers showed in mice the rats suggested that
this semiglutide drug, the powerful ingredient in weggavy and elzembic,
(07:23):
could raise the risk of one type of thyroid cancer,
medullary thyroid cancer. Last year, the European Medicines Agency also
said that research on rodents suggested the artificial hormones sold
under the brand name Monjarro could increase the risk of
(07:44):
this medullary thyroid cancer. In the latest study, research sures
from the University of Maryland in Baltimore assessed over three
hundred and fifty thousand patients with type two diabetes who
had no HISS three of thyroid cancer. Over forty thousand
were put on shots collectively known as the GLP one
(08:07):
AGONA drugs and that's what these semiglutide drugs are, or
the Weggavy Ozambic Majorro others. The others were given three
common other diabetes drugs and over a follow up of
six years on these three hundred and fifty thousand patients,
(08:29):
they found the risk of thyroid cancer was significantly higher
within the first year after the golp one drugs such
as the semiglutide ozembic, Weggavy and and this is what
they're finding. Most of the reactions to taking osembic, Weggavy
and other drugs are gastrointestinal issues such as persistent nausea diarrhea,
(08:53):
which leaves some patients with severe dehydration. Doctors also warned
they are seeing patients with serious life in complications including seizures,
ball obstructions, inflammation of the pancreas, pancreatitis, all black, the
list goes on, and all with these potential adverse side
effects that a lot of people are getting, and of
course a lot of doctors who are peddling these drugs
(09:15):
and making money off from them. They oh, it's just rare,
oh rare, really rare.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Well, that's what they say, of course, the ones that
are trying to benefit by it. We're talking about people
who are peddling it here now. Other reported problems includes constipation, fatigue,
stomach pain, headaches, dizziness. Bizarre symptoms like hair loss have
also been among those patients. So if you are taking
one of these GLP one semi glue tide drugs, you
(09:45):
better wake up because and then ask yourself the question,
what happens when you stop the drugs?
Speaker 4 (09:51):
Is this like a drug for life? You really want
to take that shot in the rump for life? Really?
H just unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
I don't know, you know, I know it's very alluring
to have the promise of just this shot once a
month or whatever and you'll be back to your high
school weight, back in the clothes that are in the
closet collecting moths.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
I get it. It's sexy, I know.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
The you know, a lot of celebrities are pushing hard
on it and showing the before and the after. It's
very difficult, but I'll tell you what it's risky, and
if you want to take that risk, that's your your
prerogative to take. But you need to know what you're
getting into before you go into it. I know a
lot of people are not in form There's not enough
(10:43):
time in a day to tell about the side effects.
They be in their doctor's office all day long. All right,
when we come back the health alternative of the week,
Then back to your telephone calls and questions.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
I'm doctor Bob Martin.
Speaker 5 (10:58):
You you.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Hopefully natural medicine when applicable. Welcome for Welcome back to
this hour the Doctor Bob Martin Show. I'm doctor Bob
and here in the capacity of helping you to become
your own best doctor most of the time.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Thank you so very much for tuning into the program.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Remember, we have a toll free number for you to access.
Should you have a question about your health, you'd like
to call into the show and express that and I
will answer that question on the air on a future show.
Be listening to the show so that you don't miss
my answer. Just call the toll free number eight hundred
six zero six eight eight two two eight hundred six
(12:03):
zero six eight eight two to two, and you'll hear
me answer the phone. I'll ask you to state your
first name, city, state, then your question or your health comments.
That's sets straightforward one eight hundred six zero six eight eight.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Two to two. Now.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
In an earlier segment of the show, I talked about
how eating chicken nuggets, which way too many people eat
in the United States in my opinion, and especially children
are eating them. I mean they want them constantly. They
live on chicken nuggets. They're hounding their parents to go
(12:41):
get more chicken nuggets at the fast food restaurant. That
little window opens up, out comes the sack of grease.
They're happy again for another two to four hours, and
then they want to go back and get more chicken
nuggets or sausage or cookies. And some parents are caving
into this. I did a segment on the show. Children
eating these on a regular basis long term are putting
(13:04):
themselves at risk of blindness. Talked about one little eight
year old boy who went blind another twelve year old.
This is happening because as children are pressuring their parents
into eating these fast foods that don't have the nutrition
they need for a growing body, and they develop problems
with their retina in their eye, and then they go
(13:24):
blind and it's permanent, there's no coming back from it.
And there's all kinds of other problems that are associated
with eating junk food on a regular basis as kids
grow up. So you know, if your kids want to
do that once in a while and you cave in, fine,
once in a while, once in a while, not every day.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Or two or three times today. I know parents who
do that.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
It's like obscene, But again that's me, and so talking
about that, I'm plugging in. Here is a solution to
the chicken nuggets regular damage to your children's health, giving
it to them, and here we go the health alternative
of the week. Once again doctor Bob hooking you up,
(14:19):
talking about the problem and inserting the solution. This is
the chicken nugget health alternative of the week, to extricate
parents and grandparents, and particularly the children and grandchildren from
these fast food chicken nuggets.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
They're not good.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
They are so full of nothing but chemicals and no
nutrients they need for the growing children's body. Yes, there
is a healthier, safer chicken nugget that you can buy.
Chicken nuggets are considered bad because they are typically high
in these processed foods, containing large amounts of junk fat,
which can lead to all kinds of things, obesity, dangers
(15:03):
of other health concerns if eaten on a frequent basis,
often fried in unhealthy oils that are rancid that damage
their body and rape their body of certain nutrients.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Not good. Giving children full rain of what.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
They can eat can be very unhealthy when all they
want is these ultra process chicken nuggets filled with rancid
hydrogenated vegetaboil, sugar, corn, sugar, msg, aluminum, and other additives.
Here are the alternatives to consider when your children or
grandchildren are pressuring you. Look for organic chicken breasts as
(15:46):
the primary ingredient, which is lower in fact compared to
other cuts. You can find these at natural grocers or
grocery stores that are comparable. Explore vegetarian alternatives like tofu
nuggets or vegetable fritters. They are there, and you can
(16:07):
just throw them in the oven for a little while
and then give those to the children. They're going to
be satisfied. Try making your own chicken nuggets made with
whole grain breadcrumbs for added fiber and focusing on cooking
methods like baking or air frying, significantly healthier than the
fried deep vats of rancid, damaging oil seed oils that
(16:31):
those chicken, those children are getting when they're eating chicken
nuggets at the fast food stores. Shop a natural grocers
for chicken nuggets. Here it is chicken nuggets, the alternative
source for your children by accompanied by the name of
Applegate Farms. Yes, there is an alternative to fast food
(16:55):
chicken nuggets. It's called chicken nuggets by Applegate Farms. These
are antibiotic free any antibiotics used at Applegate Farms, and
it's based on five freedoms of animal welfare. Freedom from
hunger and thirst with access to fresh water and a
diet to maintain good health and vigor. Freedom to freedom
(17:20):
from discomfort, providing shelter and comfort and resting areas to
these animals. Because if you have a stressed animal, an
animal that never sees light, never moves around, always injected
full of drugs, that meat is going to reflect the
poor health of that animal. It is we know this,
and Applegate Farms the company with their chicken nuggets, which
(17:44):
is an alternative to the chicken nuggets at the fast
food stores you're hitting. Is your answer here, it's your
healthier alternative.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
That's why we call it the health alternative of the week.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Your children, your grandchildren, they can still get their chicken nuggets,
but just make sure they're from Applegate Farms. Now, I'm
a father, and grandfather and great grandfather. Ultra process foods
are bad for all of us, and that's why I
(18:17):
shop at natural grocers, and maybe you should too. And
if you don't have a natural grocery store near you,
you can certainly go to their website and find out
about these safer, healthier, more nutritious and just the same
taste Applegate Farms chicken nuggets. And that way you don't
(18:38):
have to drive all the way over to McDonald's, Burger King,
Kentucky Fried Chicken, all the rest of the grease stores
you're frequenting right now. And that's why we call it
the Health Alternative of the Week. Chicken nuggets by Applegate Farms.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
All right, let's get back to work with your telephone
calls and questions.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
First up, this segment is Bill in sea Cott, Massachusetts.
Speaker 6 (19:08):
Hi, doctor Bob, and thank you for all you do.
This is Bill from Seaconk, Massachusetts. I was just wondering
this putting honey into a hot beverage tea or cereal
change the nature of honey in any kind of a
negative way. And also I was wondering about butter. Some
nutrition to say, go for it. Butter is the thing
(19:29):
to do as long as it's grass fed, grass finage,
and other people nutritionis will say, but I kind of
stay away from it as usual. There's a protocn. But
you're the only person I know who can square this away.
So once again, thank you for all you do. And
once again Bill from Seaconk, Massachusetts.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
By now, excellent question. Bill, I appreciate you calling into
the show and your kind comments. Yes, Bill, it's a
concern people should know about this. Raw honey contains many
live enzymes and nutrients and has antibacterial properties, but once
it's heated, you lose all of these benefits. So heating
(20:08):
honey also causes a rise in the glycemic index, So
it basically ratchets up the glycemic index and spikes your
blood sugar, which spikes spikes cortisol, which increases inflammation.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
With respect to the.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
Butter, using butter is a healthier option than using most
of the seed oils. So if you're cooking at high temperatures,
butter is a more stable substance to use.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
Believe me.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
You can also, of course use coconut oil, ghee and
tallow they're better as well with high temperatures. If you're
going to use those lower temperatures, you can of course
use cold press ergin olive oil, avocado oil, or macedamia oils.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
So there you have it, Bill, great question. Appreciate your
phone call.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
We're coming right back, ladies and gentlemen with the health
outrage of the week.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
Stay tuned. It's The Doctor Bob Martin Show.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Mistakes, but everybody's got a choice to make. Everybody needs
to leave the faith FDNY taking yours money you infound.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
The show. Name is the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
We're the largest longest airing health talk show in America
in large part thanks to you. Appreciate you being there,
Appreciate you telling other people about the program so they
too have an opportunity to get healthy.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
Naturally.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
We're here every week, same time, same place, just refer
your friends, co workers, neighbors, loved ones by virtue of
telling them about the radio station you're listening to by
jotting down the call letters. Do you know that if
your oral health is terrible, it could put you at
risk of heart problems. It could put you at risk
of developing an inflammatory disease somewhere else in your body
(22:04):
simply coming out of your mouth area, your gums, your teeth.
These are areas where if infection gets into that area
and unbeknownst to you, it can start a whole firestorm
of problems that convade deeper into your body and generate
issues you don't want. And so if that is a concern,
(22:27):
it should be. If it isn't, my entire family and
every single colleague that I know that understands the importance
of oral health, understands how important it is to floss,
brush your teeth, irrigate your teeth if you wish, I
(22:48):
do see your dental hygienist on a regular basis, and
your dentist of course for maintenance and use the Spry
dental defense system. Spry is spelled Spry. Spry is a
tooth based spry as a mouth rints, and you can
(23:09):
also get spry gum and mints so that you have
exposure to the magic secret sauce in these formulations that
shuts down the organism that evades deeper into your gums
and teeth that can cause all these problems with tooth
decay and ginger vitis and periodontal disease. We're talking about
(23:32):
the organism called Streptococcus mute hens. When that germ gets
going and it eats carbohydrate that you're taking into your
mouth and we all do it, then the metabolism of
that eating it generates this extreme acid that will bore
into your teeth, jack up your gums, injure your mouth,
(23:56):
and then you have problems in other areas, not just
your mouth, with the need for fillings and drilling and
tooth decay and gingivitis and all. You know, crowns. Nobody
wants that. Nobody wants to hear the sound of in
the other room your next Nope, I don't want it.
And that's why I use the spray dental defense system.
(24:18):
The tooth based and the mouth rins comes in peppermint, cinnamon, spearmint.
The stuff's amazing. You're dentist your dental hygienist. They're gonna
be impressed because it's anti cavity, anti plaque, and anti
bad news. So get on it. You can find the
Spray Dental Defense System. It's available at CVS and Rite
Aid pharmacies. You can find it at Target, vitamin shops,
(24:42):
Sprouts and natural grocers, or go to the company directly
on their website.
Speaker 4 (24:46):
It's Clear.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
That's x L E A R dot com, Clear dot
com for Spry, Spry sbr Y. They're also the makers
of the Clear nasal spray family, which I use as well.
All right, it's time now for the health outrage of
the week.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
She's you don't believe it.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
Come on each time for the health outrage because it's nothing,
but it's outrageous.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
You've heard me for all three years, almost four years
now talking about this whole COVID disaster that happened to
our great country and how doctor Anthony Fauci was partially
(25:41):
responsible for a lot of things that went on. Now
we see the Biden administration, which is now in the
rearview mirror, preemptively they pardoned doctor Anthony Fauci, now sparking
outrage and setting a dangerous precedence. In a controversial move
that has drawn sharp criticism from both sides of the
(26:04):
political aisle, outgoing President Joe Biden issued a preemptive pardon
of doctor Anthony Fauci, the former Chief Medical Advisor, just
hours before Donald Trump's President Donald Trump's inauguration on January twentieth.
The pardon, which shields doctor Fauci from potential criminal investigation,
(26:25):
has been widely condemned as an admission of guilt and
a dangerous president that allows those in power to evade accountability.
The decision to pardon doctor Fauci, who has been a
lightning rod for criticism over the handling of COVID nineteen pandemic,
has reignited debates about justice, transparency, and rule of law.
(26:49):
Critics argue that the move undermines public trust in government
institutions and sends a chilling message those in positions of
authority can endanger life and walk away unscathed, scot free
if the president shields them.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
Well.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
I think it's an outrage that this occurred, And I
saw something the other day that in Russia Putin wants
to bring Fauci there for under criminal law infraction to
try him in Russia.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
I don't know about that, but to.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
Me, to let this guy off the hook for what
he has done, in my opinion and the opinion of other.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
People's, is outrageous as it relates to COVID.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
If we don't fix this, If we don't, somebody's not
to answer to this COVID disaster that went on, History
will repeat itself.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
It will.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
You got to have people that can answer to the problem,
and it's not happening, and that is an outrage in
my opinion, and.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
That's why it qualified as the health outrage of the week.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
All right, let's get right back to work with your
telephone calls and your question. Our number again if you
want to call into the show and ask a question
about your health or make a health comment eight hundred
six zero six eight eight two to two one eight

Stroker music.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Here we go.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
The Stroker music is launched when a caller calls into
the show and compliments the host, because you know, talk
show hosts often will be braggadocious about themselves. They'll brag
about themselves, how great they are and how smart they are.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
I don't do that.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
I let my listeners do it for me, because it's
so much better when you are letting others stroke you
instead of instead of self stroking.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
It just feels better. It's just better overall.

Kia America has initiated to recall more than eighty thousand
Narrow vehicles from model years twenty twenty three through twenty

of these cars, or it sounds like you may have
a problem with your Kia, by all means, contact your
(33:16):
dealership where you purchased it, or the company directly to
find out what the next move is for you. That
eight hundred number is eight hundred three three three five
or four five four two eight hundred three three three
four five four to two to get customer service to
(33:37):
fight out about this recall of the uh Kia models
that I just mentioned in the years that I just mentioned.
Speaker 4 (33:44):
That's the product recall of the week.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Right right back to your phone calls and questions and
ladies and gentlemen, this is also the important thing I
want to point out. Make sure that when you hear
me answer the phone and I say please state your
first name, only your city and state, you do that
before you start your healthquades. Otherwise we may have to
get rid of the call. I don't want to do that, okay,
So here's the next call or no name, no state.
Speaker 4 (34:06):
No city.
Speaker 9 (34:07):
Go Hey, doctor Bob, I love your show. I've called
in and you've answered some of my questions. I was
just calling to tell you thank you. And secondly, I
don't know if you're aware of it or not. You
probably are. But on the TV news the other night,
a doctor lady was on just praising ozempic and how
(34:27):
now they're going to start using it to treat dementia.
So I was floored. She said, there's nothing wrong with
ozembic and has great benefits. This is a terrible medication.
And so anyway, now they've given up the green light.
The FDA has approved it for or going to approve it,
I guess for dementia. So I just you know that
(34:50):
it'd be like the health horrific thing of the week.
I don't know, but anyway, I just thought i'd share
that with you, and once again, thank you for your program.
I listen almost every week, so all right, thank you again.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
All right, well, whoever you are, thank you for that,
sweet lady. And that's why we decided to put her
on the air, without the name, without the city, without
the state. And I couldn't agree with you more about Ozambik.
That doctor's probably benefiting by it some way, somehow through
the company sending commission check.
Speaker 4 (35:25):
Who knows.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
I mean, come on, there are so many downsides to ezembic.
We now know that, and I couldn't agree with you
more on that. Appreciate that you calling you to the show.
All right, let's get back to work with your telephone
calls and questions at eight hundred six zero six eight
eight two to two.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
It's that simple. You just dial this whole free nationwide.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
You get in, you ask your question after you state
your first name, city, state, or make your health related
comment one eight hundred six zero six eighty eight twenty two.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
Next up is Tim in Kwane, Illinois.
Speaker 10 (35:57):
Tim and I in Illinois, Kiwannie, Illinois. My question is
I'm terribly bloated. My stomach is way bloated. What can
I take to get this bloating under control. I've taken tombs,
(36:18):
all kinds of medicine, and the doctors that I've seen,
they just don't seem to want to comprehend or understand.
You could punch me in the stomach as hard as
you want and it wouldn't hurt. Because I'm so bloated,
I was wondering if there's anything I could take.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Thank you goodbye, all right, Tim, sorry to hear that.
I'm glad you went to.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
Doctors to make sure that there wasn't something more serious
going on here. Bloated stomach. If this is what you
want to do, if you want to really get rid
of this problem, listen up, Tim In. This is going
to be something that other people have tried. You will
try you've got to clear this up, the gas, the inflammation.
I would start with a fast a tea fast first,
(37:08):
you make some warm lemon balm tea, also fenyl tea,
and between those two teas you alternate drinking a cup,
let's say, every two hours of either lemon balm tea
or fenel tea. For forty eight hours. You don't eat anything,
no food whatsoever. Now you can drink water, non tapwater,
(37:32):
pure water, maybe with a little lemon in it.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
If you want no food whatsoever, you're gonna fast.
Speaker 3 (37:37):
Do a herbal tea, fast on lemon balm tea and
fenyl tea for forty eight hours, and that, over time
will clear out the digestive system and you can take
digestive enzymes if you want after that and start feeling better.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
Give it a try.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
I'm doctor Bob Marchin. We'll be right back, all right,
Doctor Bob Martin with you our final segment of the week.
(38:18):
Appreciate you tuning into the program. And by the way,
if you've called in with a health question and you're
listening to the show and you're not hearing it, just
be patient.
Speaker 4 (38:27):
We'll get to those questions.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
Tons of questions come in, we answer as many of
them as we can, and we'll get to your question
for sure down the road. If you aren't hearing it today,
it's time now for the health mystery of the week.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
Somebody was saying I was in a dark red room
and then everything went black.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
What I saw next was, or rather has, dumbfounded scientists.
Jane Miller found herself in a dark red room, surrounded
by fame, muffled sounds that made her feel like her
head was stuck underwater. She floated there for what felt
like forever before everything went black. Miller suddenly felt herself
(39:14):
being dragged from the room, met with bright lights and
iridescent beeping. This wasn't a dream or a near death experience.
It was the day she was born. Jane, Who, whose
real identity is anonymous, is one of just a handful
of people claiming they have vivid memories from inside the womb.
(39:40):
Many experts argue that no one can recall their birth
due to a phenomena called infantile amnesia, where the brain's
memory center is not developed enough to store memories. It
is generally accepted this maturation doesn't happen until age three,
(40:00):
but some scientists say it is theoretically possible much earlier
if the moment was particularly significant in someone's life or traumatic.
For example, some researchers have shown children as young as
one can remember the birth of their younger sibling. Experts
say these stories beg the question how far back memories
(40:25):
can go, and in Jane's case, her earliest memory is
from the day she was born. She said she felt
like she was in a dark room for what felt
like forever before everything went black. Is it was nothingness,
she describes it. And then suddenly, you know, muffling sounds
(40:49):
eventually returned, and all of a sudden, bright lights, and
she felt like she was being dragged out of the room.
Speaker 4 (40:55):
She was recalling her.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
Birth process, and luckily most of us don't recall that because.
Speaker 4 (41:06):
It can be traumatic.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
And that's why they have come up with the explanation
as to why people can't remember their birth. Most of
the time, they have infantile amnesia, the inability to remember
that birth process. And she is a rare person that
apparently still has the visions and the memory that of
(41:29):
when she was born. It's mysterious that this occurs, but
it does, and it did for her. And that's why
it qualified as the Health Mystery of the Week. All Right,
ladies and gentlemen, we're finished. I want you to make
it a healthy day and a healthy week until we're
right back here.
Speaker 4 (41:45):
I'm doctor Bob Martin. Be well.
