(01:23):
the Doctor Bob Martsin show. I'm Doctor Bob, and very
shortly here I'm going to tell you about a medical
test given to millions of Americans that may be causing
an explosion of tumors. The medical tests used to detect
cancer may actually be causing cancer's tumors, researchers are suggesting,
(01:46):
and you should know about it. We'll get to that
shortly here, but before we do, I want to let
you know also that if you want to participate in
the show, or have a health related question about yourself
or a comment related to something you hear on the program,
you can certainly call that into our Doctor Bob Martin's
Show caller hotline phone number that number. Jot it down.
(02:07):
You never know when you're gonna need it. Eight hundred
six zero six eight eight two two. Eight hundred and
six zero six eight eight two two. The only bad
health question maybe the one you're not asking, either about
yourself or somebody you love, or a friend or a coworker, neighbor.
Maybe they've got a problem. You want to call them
(02:27):
in their behalf. You may do so, or make a
health related comment. One eight hundred six zero six eighty
eight twenty two you'll hear me answer the phone, turn
your radio down, and I'll ask you to state your
first name, only the city and state you're living in,
then your question or your health comment. It's that simple,
(02:49):
and we'll get to those calls, lots of calls later
in the show. Today we also have coming up and
interview with a pharmacist gonna tell us what we need
to know about having a healthy heart, because that's important.
It is, after all, the number two killer of man
after medical miscare, so that ought to be a very
(03:12):
interesting interview. Stand by for that. All right, So we
begin with this information about an overused medical test given
to millions of Americans each year may be causing an
explosion in tumors. Now think about that. How would you
like to go to a car mechanic and the car
(03:33):
mechanic discloses to you that the diagnostic tests are getting
ready to do in your car engine may cause more
of the same, or may cause other problems you didn't
have before you had the diagnostic test the car is
currently suffering from. Would you go forward with that test?
Think about that? Most people, I don't think would saying,
(03:55):
oh my gosh, you're telling me if you change my
spark plugs. You'll you may I may blow my engine,
or you may blow my engine. Well possibly listen to this.
These cat scan they just call them scans to try
to convince you that they're not problematic. CT scans or
computerized tomography or CT scans or CAT scans use X
(04:20):
rays to create detailed images of the human body and
are used to diagnosed and monitor diseases like cancer, bone injuries,
as well as assist in surgeries and evaluate efficiency of
certain treatments. And listen, I absolutely believe in diagnostic tests
when they're necessary, when they're absolutely necessary, but not when
(04:43):
they're not. And this particular test, these scans, they call
it just so that you don't think it's ionizing radiation,
because it is. They convince people to take them for
I mean, like almost like a hangnail. If they can't
figure it out, let's do it. Let's do a scan.
We're going to do a body scan, and you go, yeah,
let's do scan. Okay, let's scan me. A lot of
(05:04):
times it's let's scam you because they're highly expensive and
they're gonna light you up full radiation. And there's no
pretty much virtually no regulation on these CT scanners and
radiation levels emitted, and they can vary widely from machine
to machine because a lot of them are not calibrated correctly.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Back about ten years ago, researchers estimated high doses of
radiation from these CT scans were responsible for a whole
lot of cancers, for roughly maybe over thirty thousand cancers
being generated by the scan itself, by the diagnostic test itself,
that people didn't have otherwise before they had the scan.
(05:51):
Experts believe this is a highly underestimated number. It could
be in the hundreds of thousands as far as we know.
So that's a problem. And did you know that one
a singular CT scan And a lot of times they
don't even give you the CT on the front end.
They just said, oh, let's go in for a scan.
(06:13):
Oh yeah, it's almost like being in a Star Trek movie.
Oh I'll just scan you and find the problem, no
big deal. And they run this little almost like if
smartphone device over your body and oh, yeah, you've got
you've got gallbladder problems, or you got a tumor on
your liver. But having a CT scan, let's say, if
you're abdominal area you're having abdominal problems and they can't
(06:36):
figure out what's wrong, and they say, wow, let's let's
go scan you, and you go, yeah, scan me. That
is the equivalent of receiving over one hundred chest X
rays in one fell swoop. Can you say ionizing radiation?
That is cancerous potentially, and ongoing research indicates as the
(07:00):
number of CT scans increases, related cancers will likely rise.
CT scans can be, of course, as I said, life
saving tests catching diseases are bleeding early enough to be treated. However,
experts say they are over prescribed and performed unnecessarily, potentially
(07:26):
because of the money making opportunities. Oh yeah, they make
major Bank, Major de Naro doing these scans. You may
not even feel it because your insurance company is being
socked for it. Okay with you, It shouldn't be. It's
creating a problem for you potentially down the road. Can
you say tumors? As the tests are not only expensive,
(07:51):
but doctors you know are now fearing that it is
a after the fact issue they need to work about.
You should be two. Doctor Rebecca Smith Bingmann, a professor
of the University of California, San Francisco Medical Schools. One
of the researchers in an ongoing study. She told NBC
(08:12):
News it's unfathomable. We keep doing more and more cts
otherwise known as CT scans, and the doses keep going up.
Doctor Smith said between two machines, one could be exposing
patients to ten to fifteen times higher radiation doses than
(08:35):
the other. She also added there is a very large
variation and the doses vary by an order of magnitude tenfold,
not ten percent different for patients seen for the same
clinical problem. About ninety three million, ninety three million of
(08:56):
these CT scans are performed in the US every year,
according to IMV, a medical marketing research company, and that
number is rising constantly. Radiation exposure to these scans the
CT scans is measured by milli sieverts, which measures the
(09:17):
amount of radiation absorbed by the body. Now, the study
that doctor Smith Meidmin was involved in looked at the
radiation dose associated with the eleven most common types of
CT scans before performed on over one thousand adult patients,
and the radiation exposure varied widely. Average dose is ranged
(09:40):
by from two milliverts to thirty one for an abdominal
or pelvic CT. However, the researchers found the amount of
radiation emitted by CT scanners varied widely across four hospitals.
They collected data with a thirteen fold difference between the
highest and the lowest doses for each type. Now, if
(10:05):
those hospitals were a McDonald's restaurant, they'd be out of
business because you couldn't get the same type of hamburger
down the road as you did that you were expecting.
Of course, you don't feel the radiation going in when
it's happening. You just get lit up. So just keep
this in mind when your doctor or doctors are saying, look,
(10:29):
we can't find out what's wrong with you, and therefore
we're going to send you for a CT scan. We're
going to send you for a scan. You're antenna ought
to go up, and it ought to say, I'm getting
ready to get some dosage of radiation, ionizing radiation, the
equivalent to if it's an abdominal CT, the equivalent of
(10:50):
rope drew over one hundred chest X rays, and I
may have another problem down the road as a result
of it. Are there any options, doctor? That's what you
should be saying, I'm doctor Bob Martin. Just give all right,
(11:16):
doctor Bob Marts' back with you. Just keep deep breathing
when you hear the bad news that I just laid
on you about how these medical tests to millions of
Americans may be causing an explosion in tumors called CT
scans otherwise known as scans. Let's scan you. They're all
(11:38):
a lot of them, A tremendous amount of them are unnecessary,
and they're causing potential tumors down the road. Because you
need to be thinking about this. If you get an
abdominal CT scan, you're getting the equivalent of over one
hundred chest X rays all in one fell swoop. And
then if you're at your dentists practice, they do a
(11:59):
full on your mouth and then you have to go
in for something else. You might be lit up as
in glowing in the dark. But at least now you
know to ask your doctor any options. Now. These diagnostic
tests are important, they're life saving, but they're overused, way overused,
and often used as a profit center in these medical
(12:22):
clinics to potentially your demise. All right, we're going to
turn our attention now to a very important area of
human health and it's related to your heart. We've invited
a special guest to join us on the program to
talk about the topic of what you need to know
(12:45):
for a healthy heart, and since heart disease is the
number two killer of man only after medical miscare, it's
an important topic. We invited to join us doctor Jim Laval.
He's a good friend and collie of the show. Doctor
Jim Levell is a clinical pharmacist, author, board certified clinical
(13:07):
nutritionist and heart health expert. Doctor Lavell shares with us
what you need to know about having a healthy heart,
in particular blood pressure, cholesterol, the importance of exercising your heart,
and nutritional supplements. And with that let us welcome back
to the Doctor Bob Martin Show, doctor Jim Levell. Good
(13:29):
day to you, Doctor Lavell.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
Hey, how are you, Doctor Bob. It's great to be
here doing fantastic.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Good to hear your voice. Jim, missed you at the
last expo, but we'll catch you the next time. I
guess all right, So, so Jim, you've you've you've been
our go to heart expert for probably going on about
two decades or so, which kind of ages us a
(13:57):
tad and have provided the listeners of this radio show
fantastic information about maintaining good heart health or good cardiovascular health.
What would you say to listener? Are the top concerns
that people should be aware of about their heart health?
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (14:20):
I mean I think it's important that people want they
should know their blood pressure. I mean that's super important
that they should absolutely know their blood pressure morning and night.
They should do both. I think the other one is
understanding cholesterol. That's a another big area and it's not
(14:41):
just about how much cholesterol you have. It's whether you're
making bad cholesterol right, because there's different kinds and a
lot of times people have no idea if that's the case.
They just think, you know, LDLHDL and there's a lot
more to it, and people should, you know, take a
minute or two and figure.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
That out, all right? So are you an advocate doctor
Lavelle as I am? Are you an advocate of someone
having a self testing machine that you can easily purchase
at any drug store to measure one's blood pressure at
home so that they can keep an eye on it
(15:19):
and don't have to go down to the fire station
or or some other place. They can do it where
they're nice and calm and relaxed in their own home
and can monitored. Are you Are you an advocate of
self measuring blood pressure at home?
Speaker 4 (15:35):
Absolutely? I think people that's what I say. People should
get that blood pressure morning and night. I think they're
cheap to get and that's, you know, the first thing
you could do. And everybody should check their blood pressure
regularly because the first sign of death fifty of the
time on a heart attack. The first sign of a
(15:55):
heart attack fifty percent of the time is death. So
it's really important to understand that, you know, hypertension, heart
disease kind of a silent killer. Get that blood pressure monitor,
Understand what your heart rate is, Understand what your your
blood pressure is, and I'll tell you what. I go
(16:17):
a step further, doctor Bob, why not get a glue
commoner and stick your finger and find out what your
glucose is too?
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Mm hmm oh absolutely very important. All right, So can
we discuss doctor level this blog article why high blood
pressure is a concern at any age and maybe associated
with brain health or brain damage, changing the effects even
(16:45):
in young people. Because most people are thinking to themselves, Okay,
so I don't have to worry about blood pressure problems
because that happens when somebody's like middle aged or elderly
or maybe senior citizens. I never have to worry about it.
If I do, I can always get it under control
some drugs or drop some weight or whatever. Is that
a healthy thing to be considering?
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Well? I mean, if you looked at that blog that
was posted, it was pretty scary. Actually, there twenty two percent,
a little over twenty two percent of young adult age
just eighteen to thirty nine half high blood pressure. That's
almost you know, that's almost one in four. So and
almost half the people age forty to fifty nine have hypertension.
(17:27):
But the real striking one. Honestly, I was actually shocked
at death statistic that that many people, because you don't
think of blood pressure problems, Like you said, when you're young,
you're not thinking of that. But the earlier that you
can get a hold of it, the better off that
you're going to be. Right, I mean, so you can
start with magnesium, and you can learn about, hey, what
(17:48):
do I need to do for exercise? Get out there
and walk. Use things like aged garlic extract, which is
phenomenal for blood pressure, but a lot of people don't
realize pretiovascar disease, hypertension, increased risk of dementia, So blood
pressure problems in your thirties, dementia later in your life.
(18:10):
So why people need to be you know, once you're
an adult, you got to start taking care of yourself.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Yeah, exactly, You've got to watch the warranty. You've got
to be careful thinking that. You know, you've got to
reverse or rebuke that thought of being indestructible just because
you have raging hormones and you're procreating at a certain
point of your life. It doesn't necessarily matter because when
you look at the research and I'm looking at this
(18:37):
blog right now talking about how if somebody has high
blood pressure, and millions of people in the age brackets
of eighteen to thirty nine and forty to fifty nine
do and don't feel that. That's why they call it
the silent killer, folks. They're actually experiencing brain damage. And
in the blog, it talks about how the frontal cortex
(18:58):
is being damaged, which which is helping with executive function,
which basically means, you know, how do you handle situations
on an everyday basis making good decisions and how you
know your behavior, your emotions. All of that is going on,
and that part of your brain is being whacked by
the blood pressure banging against those blood vessel walls and
exposing the neurons to toxicity.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Correct, that's exactly right. I mean, look, when you can't
carry oxygen, the other blood vessels are getting stiffer. That's
why the blood pressure is going out. You can't get
that oxygen after the brain. You're going to create more
oxidative stress. But you're going to create a lot more
damage to your neurons and it's going to accelerate that
aging process. And you know you're think about it, doctor Bob.
(19:42):
I don't know about you, but I have more people
in their forties and fifties starting to complain about short
term memory loss. And I think a lot of it
has to do with just this fact. You know a
lot of folks are stressed out. They never check the
blood pressure and it's a factor.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Yeah. I hear it all the time, and people just
kind of brush it off. Oh I'm having an Alzheimer's moment.
Wait a minute, you're thirty years of age. What are
you talking about here? What's going on now? You mentioned
you mentioned using kyolic garlic. How does that play a
role in blood pressure? What do people need to know
(20:20):
with respect to the efficacy of using kyolic garlic, which
you and I have talked about here in this radio
show for a couple decades or so.
Speaker 5 (20:31):
Yeah, I mean basically, multiple human trials show that age
garlic extruct will drop your blood pressure an average of
at least eight point systolic five point sky stolic.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
That's being people with uncontrolled hypertension. They're already medicated and
it's not working. So for the average person, you could
see a twelve to twelve point drop and a six
point drop, So really important on the blood pressure side,
I think about age garlic extract.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
All right, we'll be right back. I'm doctor Bob Martin.
Are you waiting on a nine next take? Are you
waiting for the perfect night?
Speaker 6 (21:09):
Are you waiting to the time is night by?
Speaker 5 (21:16):
Don't you want to learn to deal with Don't you
want to take the wheel and steer it?
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Don't you beating now the man?
Speaker 4 (21:25):
Why wait?
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Why are you in fun? But you have to be
tuned into the largest and longest airing radio health talk
show in America, and that is in large part thanks
to you, the audience. We so appreciate you being here
today and telling everyone about this radio show so they
too can hear our excellent guests like doctor Jim Leval,
(21:50):
who we have on with us right now. Uh. And
of course, when you're referring to somebody to this radio show,
simply listen to the commercial in between the segments and
when you hear the station id their call letters, jot
it down note if it's an AM or FM station,
the frequency on the dial, time of the day, and
(22:11):
just tell as many people as you can so they
too have the opportunity to tune into this radio show
to learn how to have quality life and length of life,
improve longevity and improve quality of life. That's what we do.
It's what we're all about, helping you to become your
own best doctor. Most of the time, doctor Jim Leval's
(22:31):
with US Clinical Pharmacist author, Board certified Clinical Nutrition HERD Expert,
and we're discussing blood pressure and cholesterol things you know
that you may not otherwise know. It could be life
saving some of this information we're talking about. And of
course doctor Leval has already mentioned one of his favorite
things to help with blood pressure issues with cholesterol issues
(22:53):
is using Kyolic Aged Garlic extract, which is available in
health food stores wide including Sprouts, Farmers' Markets, natural Grossers.
You can find Kyolic Age Garlic Extract at Whole Foods
and nationwide health food stores, or you can go online
(23:14):
at Kyolic that's kyolc dot com. You can also follow
them on Facebook at Kyolife and Instagram at the Kyo Life.
All right, back to our conversation. Oh, by the way,
I want to let you know coming up later in
today's program, we're going to talk about how manhood is
(23:37):
being destroyed by a popular hair growth product. So if
you are or you know somebody who's using a hair
growth product to have more hair, thicker hair, fuller hair,
hair growth, you may be doing some major damage with
(23:58):
your manhood. And I'll explain a little bit more about
that later in the program. All right, back to our
interview doctor James Leval. Doctor Levell, we started to talk
about cholesterol and our listeners. Of course they understand cholesterol.
They are concerned about it because everybody hears about it,
(24:18):
and a lot of people are kind of brainwashed into
believing high cholesterol is a statin deficiency. You know, and
the cholesterol companies that sell that, the big farm companies
love it to have people believe that. But how important
is cholesterol education for our listeners today.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
Well, I think it's incredibly important, you know. You know,
some of cholesterol's a reflection of your health from the
standpoint of stress can influence your cholesterol. Eating too much sugar,
too many refined cards will make more of the bad
actor cholesterol. So even though you'll hear some people talk
about all cholesterol doesn't matter, it really does. It's whether
(25:02):
or not a healthy or not to you know, for
you know in the way that your body is making it.
So one of the most important things for people to
realize is, you know, you've got to exercise to help
them pre very stail cholesterol. And a lot of people
today because of the stress, are under the lack of
sleep other dietary factors. They are all the ol gets
(25:24):
too high. And it's not just that the aldo gets high.
You make really small particle LDL, meaning that it's like
you're throwing a bb through a tennis net instead of
trying to throw a softball through the tennis net. That
tennis nets the innerlining of your artery and when that
BB penetrates that, your body then attacks it and now
you develop a plaque.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Is that where the inflammaging comes in? And we've talked
about the past, the inflammatory process that a lot of
doctors like yourself are now focusing in on more so
than just cholesterol bio itself, but rather it's really the
fire that's going on that the cholesterol is rushing to.
Is it not to try to repair the damage.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
No, that's exactly right. I mean I've been I've got
a book coming out on metaflammation. I mean, I've been
talking about this now for about seven years, and finally,
you know, people are listening that metabolic inflammation is what
damages the cholesterol. And you know, there was a new
study I'm sure you saw Doctor Bob that came out
that was showing that people actually lived longer when their
(26:33):
lipids like were around two twenty. So I think that
was a startling publication that came out recently. So I
think that lends that site to You know, when you
take h garlic extract, you get rid of the oxidized LDL,
the stuff that it's basically rusted LDL. That's what plaques
your arteries and it also lowers a lot of the
(26:55):
bad actor lipids like ape lipoprotein be life a protein
little way. These are sub fractions are portions of cholesterol,
and if you have more of those portions, you're very
much prone to increase US for heart disease. So that's
the special thing about ahe garlic talctor, Bob, is that
it almost plays a symphony around your cardiovascular health because
(27:22):
it does influence the bad actor lipids. It does improve
the pliability of your arteries, it does decrease inflammatory signaling,
you know, it does lower your cholesterol, helps to defat
your liver. There's a lot of really good things about
it that have been shown in multiple human studies.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Well, when was it the last time I think we
talked ahead over nine hundred period view published studies on
kyolic age garlic extract. Am I wrong with that number.
Speaker 4 (27:53):
They've got over nine hundred publications And in terms of
clinical trials, I gotta be honest with you, doctor Bob,
they publish at least four to six clinical trials every year.
I mean, drug companies don't do that. You know, it's
pretty amazing the amount of clinical trials they do.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Now, Doctor leval for people who are just tuning into
the interview here. So many people prefer to take pharmaceutical
drugs to correct hardy issues are cardiovascular issues such as
high blood pressure and high cholesterol. This is twenty twenty five,
and there are many more natural therapies to consider correct.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
Well. I think there's so many things that you can
do when it comes to cholesterol. You know, first of
all as garlic EXTRAX fantastic. But the other thing, you know,
when you combine it with blood pressure, they need for
magnesium is important. You could look at the kyolic combinations
for that matter, that have other ingredients in them. They
(28:56):
have a blood pressure formula, they have a you know,
a lit you know, cholesterol lowering formula. So I think
I think that, you know, there's a lot that they
can do. I mean, the number one thing I think
they do is get that magnesium and that after not
you know, in addition to taking kyolic, make sure you
(29:16):
get some magnesium in because you know, magnesium drives a
but sugar problems and drives blood vessel stiffness. When you
combine the two of those together, it is pretty amazing
what happens, all right.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Our guest is doctor Jim leval. We're talking about what
you need to know for a healthy heart, and as
you can tell, one of his very favorite things to
do besides exercise, healthy lifestyle and maybe pumping up your
magnesium by eating more green leafy vegetables is taking kyolic
aged garlic extract. When we come back from this break,
doctor la Val, I want to address people's hesitancy of
(29:50):
taking a garlic product for fear that their breath will
be wafting into the next nose and it'll be repugnant.
We'll get to that after a month. But here I'm
doctor Bob Martin.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Sorry, I'm a bussom a number simoncible, the one never
(30:24):

And we'll get into that. This is written up in
a medical journal and a lot of children are in
just this substance, so we'll get to that later in
the show. Very important stuff. All right, doctor levelt. Before
we took the break, I was talking about people may
have that hesitancy about taking aged garlic extract kyolic age
(33:15):
garlic extract because they fear that they may have that
stinking rose smell on their breath that may gross other
people out, so they just decide to bypass taking it
as a supplement. Can you please address that, sir.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
Yeah, The beautiful thing about age garlic extract is when
they age it, it actually gets rid of those stinking
rows effect. Volatile compounds, and what happens is new water
soluble compounds, things that are really good for you develop
over that eighteen month aging process. So no stinking rose
effect if you're on blood thinning medications, no effect on
(33:54):
bloodedding medications. And in fact, if you're on a statin,
the very next thing you should be doing is going
and getting some H garlic extract, because when you take
H carlic extract what is statin, you reduce your plaque burdens,
so your progression of your cornary artery classification by as
much as seventy percent. Wow, that's incredible what I get
(34:18):
doctor Bob.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Oh Man alive, I'll say, uh geez, it's the dsure favorite,
it seems by big Farm. And how they bonus up
these doctors by taking the lunch almost every day, bringing
them lunch, bringing them gifts, bringing them prizes, bringing them
trips to the Caribbean. Just as long as they keep
that prescription of statins up, it happens. Ladies don't believe,
(34:42):
believe it doesn't even though there's a there's an ethical
law against it all, they find ways to get around it.
Oh yeah, I had a lady just the other day
telling me her doctor was putting around a stat and
I said, well, what's your cholesterol? We went through numbers
one hundred and fifty total. Everything was perfect, your cholesterol
to HDL ratio below three point five five. And I said, well,
you can obviously see that you don't have a cholesterol problem.
(35:05):
Why is your doctor putting you on a stanton? Well,
my doctor says, if I don't go on a STAT
and I'll have a stroke. I really, you'll have a
stroke if you don't go on the STAT When you're
cholesterol's perfect, Ah, it's time for new doctor. It was like, whoa,
I mean, it's so blatant these days, it's hard to believe.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
Oh, it's really sad. It is.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
It is crazy. But in folks, look, we're talking about
something that is in nature that has been properly presented
to the human body in the form of a sociable,
odorless garlic that's aged very very different than garlic oil, folks,
very very different aged garlic extract like a fine expensive wine.
(35:56):
Even though kylea garlic is not expensive when you compare
to about eighty to one hundred thousand dollars open heart
surgery splitting that breast apart and going in and re plumbing.
No no, no, Kyle lock Age, garlic astract coupled with
a healthy lifestyle, not smoking, eating properly, lowering your stress.
All the things that doctor Jim Leval teaches us on
(36:18):
this program are the way to go. And you can

You can go to also sprouts, farmers' markets, natural grocers,
whole foods, natural grocery stores everywhere basically, or you can

James Leval, we have a run out of time. I
just want to thank you for all of your help
on this radio show in helping us to understand how
to take better care of our heart naturally and safely
drug free. Wishing you abundant health, my.
Speaker 6 (36:54):
Friend, what's wrong with Ben? What's wrong with Ben? What's
wrong with being confident?
Speaker 3 (37:08):
As wrong?
Speaker 2 (37:17):
It's time to get the jam? All right, Doctor Bob
Marten back with you. We thank you for tuning into
the program today. I want to thank doctor James Laval
for joining us on the program to talk about heart health.
I mean, what an important topic to go over to
(37:39):
help people better understand that they can be You can
be your own best doctor most of the time. Doctor
James Leval a pharmacist, nutritionist, author of many books, and
a heart health expert. This is one of my postgraduate instructors,
(38:03):
this doctor Leavell, being a pharmacist and an expert in
the field of heart health, and I always enjoy his talks,
his lectures, his modules. Doctors receive continuing medical education just
listening to the important stuff that he has to say
because he's a researcher and he has so much to
(38:28):
bring to the table to help doctors stay apprized of
all the latest breaking information that doctors may not otherwise
have the time to go out and gather, but yet
he does it. He figures out a way to do
it along with his busy practice and all the consulting
that he does. He's been a guest on this radio
(38:49):
show for many years and we appreciate the content that
he brings to bear here on the show because we
get a lot of positive comments when he's on the program. Now,
for those people who are first time listeners of the show,
it may be a little overwhelming to hear some of
(39:09):
the comments that doctor Lavelle said, including you can take
your statins right along with it a Coyola cage garlic extract.
Same thing with your blood pressure. Just monitor your blood pressure.
Monitor your blood pressure at home so you know what
it is. So in case you're on a blood pressure
drug and it gets better by virtue of some lifestyle changes,
including taking kyolic age garlic extract, you can report that
(39:32):
to your doctor your blood pressure reading is going down
because you don't want to have it go too low
artificially driven by whatever Listen April or whatever it may be.
And that way, your doctor or your pharmacists can carefully
step you off of the blood pressure medication if that's indicated,
and that has to be done through careful observation of
(39:53):
a healthcare provider who's familiar with your case or you're
under the care of that's how you do it. I mean,
think about how nature. Mother Nature once again has provided
a tool, a food, a medicine if you will, to
help remedy some of the problems that we have in
(40:14):
this crazy chaotic lifestyle and life that we are living.
And sometimes it's hard to get the exercise you need.
Sometimes it's difficult to eat well. On the run and
when it comes to stress, who isn't overloaded with it?
So here's an antidote for helping that out. Kyolic aged
(40:37):
garlic extract found at all health food stores pretty much nationwide,
or kyolic kyolic dot com. All right, stay tuned. Coming up,
we're gonna be talking about manhood destroyed. I'm doctor Bob Martin.
