the illness, with Mexico recording 20,000 cases already this year.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Thanks for coming along. Appreciate you being here. I've needed
help on this radio show for years, and I've denied myself.
No longer will I deny myself. We're growing like leaps
and bounds. We're in our twenty ninth year of nationwide syndication,
and this show has grown so much, in large part
thanks to our audience that I just I've needed help.

(02:04):
And doctor Brockman was screened. Out of hundreds and hundreds
of physicians, we chose him and so we are glad
to have him with us. He has two doctorates. He
is both a nature pathic physician and a chiropractic physician
with a extensive background in functional medicine and clinical nutrition.

(02:26):
After having treated thousands and thousands of patients over a
seventeen year period of time, Doctor Brockman's also been helping
me on another radio show that I do in the Phoenix,
Arizona market and doing a phenomenal job. In fact, he's
done such a good job with me on that show

(02:48):
that our ratings on that program KTAR one oh two
point three FM and Phoenix had the highest ratings on
our show together. I'll have you know, doctor Brockman then
any other time in that show's history. So thank you
for contributing to that for sure. All right, now, all right,

(03:09):
all right, So I thought we would begin and just
sort of a takeoff from last hour. If you were
with us, ladies and gentlemen, you heard doctor Brockman and
I talking about how space travel impacts human health, and
since a lot of us have imagined and dreamed about

(03:31):
and fantasized about going into space, space travel being available
to every citizen, maybe in the very well near future,
if it's up to Elon Musk, I can tell you that.
And so scientists are studying all this stuff, looking at travel.
We covered it last hour, aeronautic healthcare and what the

(03:54):
astronauts go through and what could be improved in the
program to help them out. If you are interested in
learning about that, or if you didn't get a chance
to hear Last Hour, you'll be able to find it
in the podcast library over at either Radioamerica dot com
our number one Radiomerica dot com, or you'll be able

(04:16):
to find it on my website at doctor Bob dot
com spelling out the word doctor docto r bob dot com.
We doctor Brockman, and I are going to be taking
your phone calls, your questions about the topic of health
and health comments this hour, So don't go anywhere.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
And if you want.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
To call in and ask a question about your health
or somebody else's health, or make a health comment, you
may do so on the Caller hotline phone number. That
number is eight hundred six zero six eight eight two two.
Eight hundred six zero six eight eight two two one.
Eight hundred six zero six eighty eight twenty two is

(04:57):
the number to call if you need help with your health.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Health.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
We are available to you and we'll do our best
to help you out. Now, I wanted to begin and
this is sort of a takeoff of Last Hour speaking
of travel, well, the general population in the United States.
US travelers are being warned about an uncontrollable issue with
nosebleeds as a potential deadly virus is spreading in the

(05:26):
spring break hot spots. People traveling to warmer winter vacations
spots and spring breakers which is going on, are being
warned over a fast spreading disease that could be life threatening.
In an emergency notice, the CDC, the Centers for Disease
Control and Quasi Prevention, raised the alarm over dengay fever

(05:50):
dan gay fever, saying the US and America's regions is
seeing high transmission, with nearly one thousand cases so far
reported across twenty one states and that's probably under reported
already this year. A record number of infected travelers nearly

(06:11):
four thousand, returned to the US already this year, and
just as spring travel season kicks off, popular destinations like
the US, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Mexico are experiencing high
levels of dengey fever transmission, with Mexico recording twenty thousand

(06:33):
cases already this year. The disease is spread when infected
mosquitoes sting people, and it causes fever, headache, and rash
in most cases, and in severe cases, the disease develops
into dejas shock syndrome, which can trigger heavy bleeding from
the nose, gums, and under the skin. Now, that would

(06:54):
seem like ebola to me if I saw that going on,
But that's part of the symptomatology in the clinic picture behind.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Dan gay fever.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
It is rare for dan gay fever to turn into
the severe disease, but when it does, about one in
one hundred patients do not survive. This rises to twenty
percent if someone does not get treatment. There's no specific
medicine for dengay fever either, which is tragic with treatment
instead of relying on keeping patients hyghrated and relieving their pains,

(07:26):
so convalescence that's it. Watch and hope that they get better,
and wish that they get better. Now, the CDC issues
a warning to avoid mosquito bites. How do you do
that if you're out partying on the beach it's spring break,
or in some area on a coast where there are
mosquitoes everywhere.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
You know.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
They're warning people to wear insect repellent, which is nothing
more than insecticide, which is neurotoxic. Be careful with that.
Find natural solutions to that that are just as effective.
You can find those in health food stores. Alternatives to
the insecticides like cutters.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
And off and all that.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
No, don't put that on yourself for your kids.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Please.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
We've done many shows over on that over the years
where long sleeve clothing they recommend and be suspicious for
the virus. With patients who recently returned from abroad, doctors
are with high fever, they're thinking, okay, high fever, dan
Jay dn jay fever. In emergency notice, officials said denay

(08:31):
fever transmission remains high in the America's region, including, as
they said, US territories Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands. Spring
and summer travel coincide with peak season spikes in this disease.
Dan gave fever. About one hundred and seventy three million

(08:51):
Americans travel for spring break in the months of March
and April, and a good number of them do go
to these hot spot areas. Doctor Brockman, Puerto Rico, Mexico,
Virgin Islands. Been there, done that. There are plenty of
mosquitoes there. It's tough to get around that, but certainly

(09:15):
we want to get that message out to our listenership
if they are headed that way or know somebody is
headed into harm's way so that they know how to
recognize this, and if they do come down with this,
God forbid, they're able to react on it quickly and
not just keep partying and throwing back the bruce Kis

(09:37):
and drinking the alcohol.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
It's staying up.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Late at night, which is what a lot of college
students do when they're on spring break, do they not, Doctor.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Brockman, Yeah, I think we were all there once.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Oh yeah, big time, big time. Okay, so I wanted
to get that information out. Now we're going to at
this point pivot to our caller hotline phone number at
one eight hundred six oh six eight eight two two.
This is a number that everybody should jot down. You
should have this number. You should keep this number close

(10:11):
to you. And if you have people in your life
who you care about who are not well, or people
who are struggling with their health in some manner or another.
Maybe a coworker, maybe a neighbor, somebody you run into
and you get into a conversation about their health and
they tell you all their ills and all their story,
and you feel bad and they're searching for answers. Why

(10:35):
not hand them or provide for them? The doctor Bob
Martin Shaw call her hotline phone verse so they can
call in and get health advice at someone else's expense.
It's free ninety nine that number eight hundred six to
zero six eight eight two two. Eight hundred six zero
six eight eight two two. We're gonna get right into
those phone calls when we come back. Stay with us.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
We'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
And a healthy welcome or welcome back to this hour
of the Doctor Bob Martin's Show. We have doctor Adam
Brockman with his co host of the show from this
point forward. I also want to let you know that
later in the show we're gonna have for you. In fact,
next hour will have for you the health alternative of
the Week, Health outrage of the Week. We've got a
product recall to tell you about, and we're going to

(11:37):
slip in between all of that the top ten remedies
to improve lung function, because they do exist and you
deserve to know about it. Because we happen to know
there are a lot of people listening to the sound
of my voice right now who are still struggling with
lung problems. They may have asthma, they may have emphysema,

(11:58):
they may have chronic constructive pulmonary disease of some fashion.
They may be having lung problems because they've never gotten
over it since they took the ill advised advice to
get a COVID shot, or they're just struggling from some
type of an upper respiratory or lower respiratory issue and
they just want help. We're gonna have the top ten

(12:21):
remedies to improve lung function. If that's something that's of
interest to you, don't go anywhere, all right, Let's now
go to the telephones, doctor Brockman, and see if we
can help as many people as possible on our toll
free caller hotline phone number at eight hundred six zero
six eight eight two two one eight hundred six zero

(12:41):
six eighty eight twenty two. First out of the shoot
is Steve calling in from Elevenon, Oregon.

Speaker 5 (12:47):
Hi, Doctor Bob. This is Steve calling from Lebanon, Oregon.
I'm seventy three years old. I have prostate cancer. I
have a gleas and score of seven, and I've been
diagnosed as a low risk patient radiation scares of the
gv's out. I mean, would ivormectin be a better situation

(13:09):
for me? Thank you. I'll take my answer on their bye.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
All right, Steve, thank you for your call. Sorry here
that you're struggling with a high Gleason score. That's everything
is graded, of folks. The Gleason score is how you
grade the severity of a prostate challenge, which he has,
and that's a high number there. And I've read a
lot of information about ivermectin, and yes it is definitely

(13:36):
used in the treatment of cancer, but you have to
look at cancer from you know, thirty thousand feet meaning
it's a large, complicated disease and you cannot believe there's
a one trick pony that's going to solve it, like
taking a magic golden pill like ivermectin, or a magic
golden ivy of chemotherapy, or a magic blast of radiatation

(14:00):
or surgery. You know, look, we're trying everything we can
on this disease which is highly complicated and we should
understand or try to understand it from all perspectives. Or
recent study indicated androgen receptors of testosterone and or something
called DHD dihydrotestosterone in prostate cells can work as either

(14:24):
an accelerator at speeding the cell growth or a break
to inhibit it. Now, it just so happens that Memorial
Sloane Kettering Cancer Center suggests that cancer can be considered
a nutritional disease. Let me say that again. Memorial Sloan Kettering,

(14:45):
a leading cancer center, very highly respected cancer center here
in the US, suggests that cancer may be considered a
nutritional disease. I mean, I say, well, if it is considered,
according to them, a nutritional disease, why do on collagists
specialists in cancer therapy? Why did they pooh pooh nutrition

(15:08):
and tell their patients, Oh, just keep eating what you're eating,
you'll be fine. Just what time's your chemotherapy appointment? Have
you been in for your latest radio radiation treatment? Look,
you've likely Steve had your prostate cancer for many years.
Prostate cancer is usually slow growing, and it's much more
serious in a young man in terms of intervention than

(15:30):
it isn't at all man. In fact, I have interviewed
doctors over the years saying, look, the worst thing we
can do for somebody who develops prostate cancer after age
sixty five is go in and radiate them or cut
them up, because then their quality of life goes down.
The tubes and the ears that they have are terrible.
They would have died of something, but it probably wouldn't

(15:51):
have been their cancer, their prostate cancer. So you'll have
to think about that a little bit. So there's a
lot of things you can be doing. I would think
that it is smart to get your body cleaned up
because we know that cancer is a toxic disease. You
know that Memorial Sloan Kettering says it's a nutritional disease,

(16:12):
which means you use nutrition to give the body something back,
ra aw materials that it can fight back against those
cells that are immortal, that don't die, that keep replicating.
You've got to make some changes in your lifestyle course,
no tobacco, no alcohol, red meat that's got to go,
and prostate cancer, no dairy foods, no sugar whatsoever. You
got to start walking one to three miles and then

(16:35):
of course exercise all good and the nutrients. There's lots
of nutrients. But doctors of functional medicine and holistic doctors
can lay out a plan based on your own individuality.
And I'm going to have doctor Brockman comment on this
as well.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
Yeah, doctor Bob, I would like to also add that
there are several cancer treatment approaches out there, and you, Steve,
need to decide what fear right to you get another opinion.
As doctor Bob suggested, work on boosting your immunity, and
I suggest a good read for this is the Gerson
Therapy by Charlotte Gerson, which is spelled g R S

(17:15):
O N. It has great suggestions on nutritional programs to
fight cancer and other illnesses. It also has a recipe section.
And as doctor Bob was talking about, with this is
a cancer, a lot of times it has to be
partly a nutritional disease.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Yeah, I believe memorial Sloan Kettering when they say that
cancer should be considered a nutritional disease. And if that's
the case, why don't we consider it a nutritional disease?
Why aren't we then handing off these patients to other
providers such as yourself, doctor Brockman, who can take that
cancer patient say look, I'm going to do some analysis

(17:56):
on you to find out what nutrition you're lacking, what
your cells are not getting, and then we're going to
provide that. We're going to recommend that so you'll have
the best chance possible to write the imbalance that generated
your prostate cancer. Because cancer, you know, because it's such
a mysterious disease. As a chronic disease, it happens for

(18:16):
a variety of reasons. It can be caused or set
off by physical, chemical, emotional, mental, just environmental things. There's
so many things that can trigger it. And until we
start looking at it more comprehensively rather than the simple cut, burn,
or poison techniques that conventional medicine provides. And then they

(18:40):
discount or discourage people from seeking out other opinions in
the alternative or holistic model of care for cancer. To me,
that's my biggest complaint is them not wanting to participate
in getting other opinions. All right, So Steve, there you go,
some opinion, all right. Next up is Merlin in my Cocoa, Iowa.

Speaker 5 (19:04):
This is me.

Speaker 6 (19:06):
I'm from my Cocote, Iowa. For Charlie horses. I used
to try Bennaker and tickled you a bunch of different
things like that. Nothing happened. I started drinking more water
before I went to bed, and I haven't had a
Charlie horse since. Thank you, goodbye, Okay, Merlin, thank you

(19:28):
for that.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
A little drop in with a caller just giving some
great advice to other people who might have a similar problem.
So you heard him. If you're having cramping, muscle cramping,
and you you know, you're trying everything and you have
to get out of bed, it's extremely painful. It could
just be dehydration. It could be as simple as just

(19:50):
drinking more water. And you might say, well, I'll just
double down on my coffee or my uh my beers
or my wine. No, no, no, those are dehydrating. Those
actually just do the opposite. So the general rule of
thumb with water in terms of a whole body, and
this is a general It can increase with if you're outdoors, sweating,

(20:11):
if your exercises, et cetera. But about half your body
weight announces of water per day is the right amount
to drink over time, over the entire day and night.
That and I would say that, let's, for example, say
you're one hundred and fifty pounds at least seventy five
ounces of pure water. Please don't drink sink water. And again,

(20:35):
this is an opportunity for you to do something simple
and easy like Merlin did for cramping. And he was
his own best doctor, right on time. And you can
be two our number eight hundred six zero six eight
eight two to two one eight hundred six zero six
eighty eight twenty two.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
What is your health question?

Speaker 2 (20:55):
We'll be right back.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
I'm doctor Bob Martin. Are you waiting for the right excuse?

Speaker 7 (21:01):
Are you waiting for a site?

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Choose?

Speaker 5 (21:04):
Why are you waiting?

Speaker 8 (21:05):
It's time is.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
Spe I'm on the type.

Speaker 9 (21:21):
In phone.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
What are you info at?

Speaker 2 (21:26):
A healthy and happy welcome back to this hour of
the Doctor Bob Martin Show. Thank you so much for
tuning into the program and telling others to do the
very same thing. And the way the best way you
can refer a sick friend, a relative, or somebody you
know to this radio show so they can have access
to the information that we provide, we being myself and

(21:48):
doctor Adam Brockman, new co host of the show, is
simply jot the call letters of the radio station you're
listening to right now down. Jot the call letters down,
whether it's an AM or FM station. Then look and
note the frequency on the dial, the time of the day,
and just take that information and pass that out to

(22:09):
as many people as you can, maybe over your social
media platform as well. We would appreciate it, and I'm
sure they will eventually appreciate it once they tune into
the show, and we thank you for that, and we'll
get back to your phone calls and questions momentarily here
at eight hundred and six zero six eight eighty two
to two. Your access to being able to ask a

(22:32):
question about your own personal health or if you want
to call it in behalf somebody else, you may do so,
or simply, as in the case of Merlin, our last
caller who dropped off a suggestion on how to solve
muscle cramps by simply rehydrating and drinking water. He was
doing all kinds of other sophisticated things, drinking pickled juice

(22:52):
and all kinds of other remedies which sound interesting but
weren't hitting the mark. And then suddenly he just starts
drinking more water. And we'll h is muscle cramps our toast,
And we love hearing about your own remedies and things
you've done to help yourself out, and if you want
to share that with others, you may do so in
a comment on The Doctor Bob Martin Show. Caller hotline

(23:15):
phone number of eight hundred six zero six eight eight
two two one eight hundred and six zero six eight
eight two two the website doctor bob dot com spelling
out the word doctor. All right, before we get back
to more of your phone calls and questions, I want
to remind you how important your oral health is. Do
you know if your oral health is poor, it can

(23:37):
jeopardize your brain. If your oral health is poor, it
can jeopardize your heart. If your oral health is poor,
it can jeopardize well, your whole body because that is
an access point of inflammation and infection, low grade infection
that can simmer and evade deeper into the body. And

(24:00):
that's exactly why I'm a stickler when it relates to
my dental.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Health, and I hope you are too.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
I wasn't like that at one point in my life
because my parents just didn't understand the importance of it,
so they didn't they weren't able to impart that on me.
If they would have known, they would have done so. However,
now that I understand this, because I've had extensive training
in this area, going to seminars and symposiums about how
important it is to avoid tooth decay, avoid gingivitis, avoid

(24:30):
periodontal disease, not just by simply brushing your teeth with
any old toothpaste or using any old mouthwash, but rather
using the best, the most therapeutic, the most effective, safe
one called the Spry Dental Defense System. Spry is spelled
Spry Spry Dental Defense System. And I don't know about you,

(24:55):
but I am a my blood pressure I can have
my blood shp PRESSU go up like this just thinking
about a dentist and the few in the chair and
the sweaty palms begin, the pole starts to pound. No,
I don't want that feeling. And the way that I
keep that feeling off of my mind is that I
use Spry toothpaste. I use Spry mouth rints. I choose

(25:20):
Spry gum and mince to keep the magic secret sauce
available in my oral cavity. Xylotol, which tricks the germs
that cause all the trouble the gingivitis predonal disease to
tooth decay, tricks the germs into believing its food and
as a result of this plant based, science based substance

(25:40):
called xylotol in their toothpaste used by millions of people,
the germs die and they leave the oral cavity. You win.
Your teeth are squeaky clean, your gums are healthy. Your
dentist and your dental hygienist are telling you that you
are doing a whole lot better. What in the heck

(26:01):
are you doing? And then you share with them that
you're using the Spray Dental Defense system so they can
pass it on to their other patients. You can find
the Spray Dental Defense System at CBS and write aid
pharmacies target vitamin chop sprouts and natural grocers. Or you
can go directly to the website of the people who

(26:22):
make Spry Dental Defense System. That would be Clear X
L e AR. The X stands for Xylotol, Clear dot
com for Spry. They're also the makers of Clear nasal sprays.
You hear me talking about it all the time, the
Clear Rescue nasal spray for all things upper respiratory. All right,

(26:43):
let's get right back to work with your telephone calls
and questions at one eight hundred six zero six eighty
eight two to two. Next up is Kathy in Iowa City, Iowa.

Speaker 10 (26:54):
Kathee, Iowa City, Iowa. My problem is dry mouth. I've
tried all the Spry that you have suggested. I was
hoping there was some kind of an herb or something
that I could take within I've been to the dentist.
I do the special prescription to paste everything I can

(27:21):
think of, Just wondering if you have another suggestion. Thank you?

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Okay, Kathy, thank you for your call. A lot of
people have dry mouth. They don't know what to do
about it. It's not a good thing because if your
mouth stays dry, it can damage your gums, your teeth.
It's not comfortable. My question to you, Kathy, is has
your healthcare provider checked for metabolic imbalances internally? You know

(27:45):
your electrolytes and your blood. What about blood sugar.

Speaker 4 (27:48):
Problems, hormone issues.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Are you using caffeine or drinking alcohol? Are you taking
any medical drugs? These are questions that need to be
asked because any one of those are accommodation of those
can cause the symptoms that you're having with dry mouth.
Did your doctor rule out autoimmune disease? One that I
can think of right off the top of my head
is chogrin syndrome. You might want to ask your doctor

(28:11):
if they've done any testing for that. Have they ruled
out hepatitis or diabetes or some other more serious problem,
or just thrush. If you look in the mirror, you
stick your tongue out and you look in the mirror,
do you see a white coat over your tongue. If
you do, that could explain things as to it relates

(28:33):
to your dry mouth.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
You could have oral.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
Thrush, which is a fungal infection systemically, and it does
cause your body to dehydrate more often. You might try
following one of these coconut oil pulling techniques to treat
the symptoms of dry mouth. Coconut oil pulling just look
that up on the internet. Or you can go to

(28:56):
the health food store and use something called Swedish bitters,
maybe about a half a teaspoon of Swedish bitters, which
is a combination of certain herbs that you put in
your mouth that cause you to immediately start salivating more
and get that mouth freshened up. And with that saliva,
you need maybe fifteen minutes before you eat, and then

(29:17):
you can also lastly, and I've had patients do this successfully,
your parodded glands, which are your salivary glands, are located
just below the ear and just at the jaw line.
If you just kind of palpaint below the ear and
just right where the jaw line is there, you'll find
a little protrusion there. Start massaging the parodded glands, one

(29:38):
on each side, and sometimes this will prime the salivary
effect and help move these along, because sometimes you can
get a salivary stone in there and.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
It may help to loosen all that up.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
All right, thank you for your phone call, Kathy. We're
coming right back. Stay tuned. It's the Doctor Bob Martin Ship.

Speaker 5 (30:13):

(31:09):
your health comment or to ask your health related comment
or to state your health related question, and it could
be about yourself or someone else.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
It's fine.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Eight hundred and six zero six eight eight two to two.
Let's go to the next caller. Stan is calling in
from Gainesville, Georgia.

Speaker 9 (31:26):
Yes, my name is Stan calling from Gainsville, Georgia. Do
you have any comments an your possible resolution for ur lists?
Formation of kidney stones that would tend to migrate from
the kidney out the body sometimes, but for existing kidney
stones that are larger thin the kidney, possibly within the

(31:47):
urinary tract. Basically, that's the question. Some resolution for prevention,
a formation of your lists or the kidney stones, and
resolutions of existing kidney stones. Thank you very much. Appreciate
you taking the bug.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
All right, Stan, appreciate you calling into the program. Okay,
doctor Brockman, let's have you start on this one of
Stan in Gainesville, Georgia's having kidney stone issues and he's
wanting to know how to prevent them and how to
treat them. Is or are there any options anything that
you can impart that would be important for him to
know about.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
Yeah, doctor Bob, some people are more prone to kidney
stones and Stan, if you have a history or family
history of them, you know some suggestions you can use.
These are going to be mainly diet related. Eliminate what
is known as high puring foods such as red meat
and shellfish, Reduce sodium intake, and increase your water intake.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
Will all help.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
If you increase your water intake, which is I definitely
suggest doing, you might add lemon juice to that to
the water and it prevents kidney stone formation. And Dr
Bob you got to have some suggestions on this as well.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
I do.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
I've treated a good number of kidney's stone sufferers, and
you're absolutely.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
Right about that, Doctor Brockman.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
They tend to be someone is somebody in the family
had issues with kidney stones. And it doesn't mean just
because somebody in your family a kidney stones, you're gonna
have kidney stones. It's just that it's these things that
travel in families are because of the behavior of the
family is the same. They eat the same stuff, they
drink the same stuff, their behaviors are the same. Of course,

(33:28):
the genetic expression is going to be the same. You
can veer off that highway, however, Stan, and you can
strive to drink more pure water and avoid the caffeine,
avoid the alcohol, avoid the soft drinks that contain the
phosphoric acid that set you up to develop the next

(33:51):
kidney stone. And one of the things besides the pureines
that you mentioned, doctor Brockman, which is very important, the
high red meat situation, but sugar is a major contributor
to the development of kidney stones and how that sets
up a whole metabolic process of insulin and cortisol and

(34:15):
inflammation and the drawing out of calcium out of the bone.
And so I guess the main thing here from my perspective,
stan is get off the standard American diet and as
doctor Brockmann pointed out, more pure water, stay away from
the red meat and those high purine foods. You should
have a list of high purine related foods in your

(34:38):
pocket when you go to a restaurant, so you know
which choices to make, better choices to make to stry
to stay away from stone formation, oxalic acid or axalic.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
Stones being the most common form.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Now, there are nutrients that we know are deficient in
people who are stone formers kidney stone farmers, Vitamin A,
vitamin B six, MAGNI see them are all there and
usually they do very well. Kidney stone farmers when taking
these are supplementing with these. We also use.

Speaker 4 (35:08):
Tincture of lobilia.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
And there is a formula that I'm aware of in
the marketplace called stone Blaster. It's a liquid herbal formula
that is taken for both gallstones and kidney stones, and
you can, you know, just google it stone Blaster. You
take about thirty drops of that in water three times

(35:32):
a day.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
I've had great results.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
With it, Doctor Brockman, with kidney stone formers more so
than gallbladder formers. With the gallbladder stone farmers and the
gallbladder sledge, we just put them on a liver gallbladder
flush using a certain amount of olive oil and lemon
and apple juice. I don't recommend people do this on
their own. They need to be doing it under the

(35:54):
supervision of a doctor who's aware of this gallbladder liver
flush in case they get into trubble, which they usually won't.
I've supervised hundreds and hundreds of patients on this and
many the vast majority of them flushed their own gallstones
out and had high success. But with kidney stones. I

(36:14):
think this stone blaster works better. And staying away from sugar,
the red meats, the shellfish, as you pointed out, increasing hydration,
pulling back on the alcohol and those things caffeine that
dehydrate the body. And you do that, we're gonna get
results and a lot of people are going to stay
away from the hospital and having to have lithotripsy or

(36:37):
the stones blasted with an ultrasound.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
Like machine to break them up.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
All right, again, thank you very much for your phone call.
Stand We'll come back and go back to work for
you right here on the Doctor Bob Martin Show.

Speaker 5 (36:58):
And we said Sunday few chambers to the black you account.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Doctor Pogo was a gift and you got eternity to
think about what you do with it? What did you.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Do with it?

Speaker 9 (37:19):
What did I do with it?

Speaker 5 (37:22):
What what I do?

Speaker 2 (37:25):
Scott Hi, welcome you back to this hour the Doctor
Bob Martin Show. Thank you for tuning into the program
with me. Is doctor Adam Brockman, the new co host
of the show, helping me with all things related to
health and wellness on this program. So happy to have
him on board big time.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Now, we just have a little bit left in this hour,
but I want to remind you the next hour we're
gonna be talking about an important topic you should stick
around about to hear certain blood types. Do you know
your blood type? Is your blood type? Oh? Is it A?
Is it AB? Certain blood types are more likely to
develop cancer. Recent study of over fifty thousand people is

(38:08):
determining that, and so knowing your blood type, you will
be able to learn next hour if you stick around,
if you're more susceptible to development of cancer due to
your blood types. So don't go anywhere. All right, Let's
get another phone call in before the end of the hour.
Here is Mike in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Speaker 7 (38:24):
Mike, Albuquerque, New Mexico. What can men do about their
swollen prostate? Since over ninety percent of the men experienced this,
there has to be a solution. Thank you.

Speaker 5 (38:41):
Hm.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
You're right about that, Mike.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
If you live long enough, you're going to develop a
prostate problem.

Speaker 4 (38:45):
Yes, that's true.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
First thing is walking, We sit too much. Walk one
to three miles. Get a male salavary hormone test done,
which is a test where you spit in these little
vials and it tells you where the imbalances are in
your hormone system, and that will then drive the person
who's analyzing it to modify your lifestyle. Maybe eliminate caffeine, alcohol, dairy,

(39:11):
and red meat, which are the saboteurs of prostate health.
And if you're overweight, that even makes it worse. Doctor Brockman,
I want to have you weigh in on this as well, sir.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
Yes, doctor Bob. I also suggest eating foods high in
antioxidants like tomatoes, berries, and citrus fruits. Increase the good
fats in your diet Omega three fatty acids that are
found in fish, nuts, and seeds. A good supplement is
salt palmetto. It's great for the prostate. And you can

(39:43):
also find supplements for the Omega three'es in antioxidants if
you're not getting those in your diet. Some other supplements
that block androgens that you mentioned before, doctor Bob, and
make these androgens make that prostate swell. But some good
supplements to help with that include zinc staining, nettle, pumpkin seeds,

(40:04):
and pomegranate seeds.

Speaker 2 (40:08):
Yeah, those are great recommendations, and Mike, you can find
these in most health food stores. They're available in formulations.
You may have been watching the commercials on television. Beta
sido sterol. Beta sidosterile is the magic ingredient insult plemento
that makes it actually work against these BPH benign prosthetic

(40:32):
hypertrophy conditions. So there you have it. Thank you for that,
Doctor Brockman. Ladies and gentlemen, stay tuned. We are coming back,
and when we do, we're going to talk about certain
blood types more likely to develop cancer here on the
