(00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. Thisis Chad Benson. The Butcher is dead.
I repeat, the Butcher is dead. What are you talking about,
Chad? The Butcher of Tehran.Their president has died in a fiery hard
landing. It's a crash, that'swhat we call it, helicopter crash,

(00:32):
and no foul play, of course. Less, of course you want to
say that you know the Jews didit, because I'm sure Ron will figure
out a way to blame the Jews. But he is dead. President Ibrahim
Raisi, Iran's foreign minister, andseven others were aboard the aircraft overnight.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer saying therewas no evidence of foul play. It
looks like an accident. There wasvery bad foggy weather in northwest Iran where

(00:55):
the copter crashed. Elected in twentytwenty one, President Raysi is a top
contender for replacing Ayatola Komeni, whovows after the crash there will be no
disruption to state affairs. That's right, Chad, that's not very very nice.
He died. He is an awfulperson. His nickname was the Butcher,
the Butcher. Why was he calledthe butcher? Sir? Right?

(01:17):
Who was sixty three, is ahardline cleric who ran the Iran's judiciary before
being elected president in twenty twenty one. Under his tenure, he gave out
hugs and kisses, nope. Iranexpanded its regional influence, supported militant proxies,
and stepped up its nuclear program. His administration was marked by a significant
anti government protest, of which hestopped on. This is the Marcia Ameni.

(01:41):
You guys know that one. SoMachia Ameni was the young girl who
didn't want to wear her job.She died in stay custody. Boom.
Everything went crazy, economic decline becauseof him. Absolutely, But that's not
why he's a butcher. He's calledthe butcher because in the eighties he was
accused of authorizing the execution of thousandsof political prisoners. He was ahead of

(02:07):
Iran's notorious death Committee and was viewedas the next one in line to be
a richard to the world. Buthe is now gone. How did it
happen? We know that there wasa lot of fog in the area.
We know that they had dignitaries, very important people, which oftentimes puts an
extra at least mental burden on thepilots to make sure that they get to

(02:28):
get to the destination. And whenyou're flying in the mountains and you have
very low visibility, there's a naturaltendency for helicopter pilots to begin to sort
of descend and try to get lowerand try to get underneath either the fog
or the cloud layer. And theyknow that they can set the aircraft down
if they need to, but oftentimesit leads to tragedy. Yeah, And
I mean we saw that with Kobewith they the pilot should have said,

(02:53):
no, it's too much fog,we're not going to fly, but he
didn't, and so he felt likehe had to go and he did.
And Kobe's guy was like using wayslike an iPad. This guy, I
don't know what he was using wasn'tvery good. And they were in Azerbaijan
coming back because they're doing some bigdeal over there when the accident happened.

(03:15):
And remember this guy was ruthless, ruthless, no love loss. I guess
between us and them, But youdo wonder about the stability and is this
going to cause an issue because younever know what the next guy is going
to be. Like I always saythat, like you want to get rid
of this guy. And I sayguy because we know it's not a woman.

(03:37):
Are you talking about anywhere? I'mjust talking about there. We know
it's not going to be a woman. But you do wonder, right,
like, what's the next one goingto be like? Because they all seem
to go as hard line as possibleand to be the next guy a Tola,
you need to be super hard line. You had two of the people
who were most responsible for the troublethat Iran has been causing in the region

(03:58):
there, as we know, supportersof the Huthis, key supporters of Hamas,
and key supporters of Hesbalah, andso all of the region's woes and
all of the instability are at leastdirected in some way influenced by two of
the people that were on that helicopter. Yeah, there's no doubt about that.
So he is good. You seemexcited about it. I'm not.
It's said said that a bunch ofother people who aren't probably the worst humans

(04:23):
on earth this guy, and thisguy was a Holocaust denire. He's not
a friend of the Jews. AndI know for a lot of you young
kids out there, you think theJews are the problem for everything, and
that's not true at all, butthat's what you blame you know, everything
on, you know, because they'recolonialists and they're settlers and they're all of
the things that they're just bad andthey're oppressors. So just pointing it out

(04:46):
there, just pointing it out therethat this guy was not a nice guy.
And when you called the butcher,he was only sixty three. He
was in his early twenties. Havingpeople execute think about that is yes,
twisted, to say the least, three two, three, five, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at shehad Benson shows your Twitter tweet at
us text to program. Uh.This I found interesting over the weekend watching

(05:09):
a lot of the shows. It'sa little mash up here of what's going
on in the world of Poles whenthey look at Poles. I'm talking about
poland talking about Poles. When itcomes to like, hey, who's leading
over here, who's leading this race, who's leading that race? How do
people feel about the economy, howdo feel about Trump or Biden? But

(05:30):
despite it all, the state ofthe race remains stagnant. Biden continues to
trail former President Trump in several keybattleground states down by double digits. In
Nevada and Georgia, states he wonin twenty twenty. In Florida and Arizona,
we pulled in both of those datesby almost three to one. Voters
say President Trump would be better fortheir finances than President Biden. In Arizona,

(05:50):
Trump has a ten point advantage onthe specific question of who cares about
people like you a lot? Andthe economy again and again number one issue.
Yeah, you think, of course, absolutely, the economy's gonna be
the number one issue. We wouldlove it to not be the number one

(06:11):
issue, but that's not the waythis works. The economy is the number
one issue. Target says it's slashingprices on about five thousand frequently shopped items.
In April, the nation's biggest grocer, Walmart, launched Better Goods,
its biggest private food brand in twentyyears, with most items priced under five
dollars, and the fast growing chainAldi is introducing additional summer savings, cutting

(06:35):
prices on more than two hundred andfifty items. Trying their hardest to get
people to come in and not havesticker shock. It's hard, man.
I have kids. We go outto get food to feed them. Because
they're like, we need to eat, like, ah, it's so damn
expensive. It is. It isso absolutely efic expensive, and that is

(07:02):
going to ring in the minds ofeverybody when they're inside of those polling stations
right on election day, go on, who should I vote for? According
to the Labor Department, prices forfood at home fell by point two percent
overall in April. In some casesthe decline is even more significant. Prices

(07:27):
for milk, chicken, fruits, and vegetables are down nearly one percent,
while apples dropped two point seven percent, steak and ribs fell two point three
percent, and eggs plummeted by sevenpoint three percent, which is great,
but remember that's the rate of inflation. And if you go look at the
numbers across the board, they're stillup. You know, if you think

(07:48):
it's going up two percent to threepercent over here, because they always want
that there's a magical two percent numberwe always talk about. But when you
look at stuff, it's up fortythree, forty eight, fifty percent,
plummeting six percent. Sounds great.Didn't you realize, oh my god,
where it was a few years agoto where it is now. Plummeting six

(08:09):
percent. It's like you know, dipping a glass into a giant swimming pool
and taking out some water and going, I don't see any change. What
we're going to see is just aboutevery major retailer getting involved, lowering prices,
adding more store brands, adding higherquality store brands, because everybody's trying

(08:33):
to I mean McDonald's. I knowpeople are pissed off at the McDonald's value
menu because that I don't find alot of value on there. And some
of these value menus are only temporary. I mean they're trying it out.
It's it's it's like they're doing everythingthey can, you know, the other
day and this is the other thing, Like drinks are so damn expensive,

(08:54):
like soda and stuff like that. All stopping at a soda every once in
a while in Nice on the wayhome, I'll play pick a ball for
a few hours and I'm like,a some have a drink. I'm just
gonna drive through really quick, andit's like you'll order a drink. It's
like three point fifty nine. What, Yeah, it's expensive. People are
feeling that. The number one issue. We could sit here and talk about

(09:16):
Kaza. We could talk about Ukraine, and we talk about immigration and abortion
and those things are all important andthey're gonna be in people's minds. But
while inflation is the way it is, I got news for you kids.
This is the issue three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three atch edventson showsyour Twitter, tweet at as texta program,

Benson Show. I don't like beingin court because they say very mean things

(11:09):
about me while I am trying tosleep. Now my devins in This trial
is about to begin on Monday, and trust me, I would love to
testify. I'm not afraid to testifyat all. I'm just not going to
out of fear. Finally, justremember, if you're tired about hearing all
of my trials, all you gottado is vote for me and it'll all

(11:30):
go away. Ah. Not funny. That was the cold open was not
very good. Oh there was somefunny stuffs there. N live and if
you did not see the Scooby Doothing. It was pretty damn spectacular because
obviously they do everything live well, this is one of those ones they film
it before because they added Scooby andthey made it like a live action Scooby

(11:52):
Doo and it was violent. Shaggybleeds out, Fred's killing people, Velly
has her head cut off. Imean, I'm just it was funny.
That doesn't sound you know, itwas funny. Speaking of Trump, he's
backing card today, so is MichaelCohen. Prosecutors could rest their case as
soon as today against Donald Trump.First, though, Michael Cohen's going to

(12:13):
return to the witness stand here fora fourth day of testimony. He's still
under cross examination after the defense accusedCohen of lying about a phone call he
said he had with Trump in lateOctober twenty sixteen to finalize the hush money
deal with Stormy Daniels. Z itfinalize it hush money deal. This is
be it? Could it? Becausehe's this could be it. Michael Cohen's

(12:37):
going to return to the witness standhere for a fourth day of testimony.
He's still under cross examination after thedefense accused Cohen of lying about phone call
he said he had with Trump inlate October twenty sixteen to finalize the hush
money deal with Stormy Daniels. OnceCohen is finished, there may be an
additional witness to enter a document ortwo into the record, and after that

(12:58):
prosecutor are expected to rest confident they'veproved Trump falsified business records to hide the
hush money from voters, which againis that's not the falsifying of documents is
a misdemeanor at best, of whichthe statute. I want to remind everybody
had come and gone, and thenthey gave this weird thing where it was

(13:22):
like, well there was COVID,so let's extended a here. Now did
you do that with any other case? From what I understand, No,
you didn't just him, just him, And to make it a felony,
I want to remind everybody this, you had to prove that he did this
in order to commit another crime, therefore making it a felony, of which

(13:46):
you have not shown any of thatzero zilch na. But didn't you always
have to ask the question, whatcould he go to real jail? Could
it happen? If Trump is convicted, he faces the possibility of is in
time, but he would almost certainlyimmediately appeal. It's still uncertain what defense
attorneys are going to do. Theyhave told prosecutors they could call as many

(14:07):
as four witnesses, possibly including Trumphimself, but the judge is expected to
hold closing arguments here as soon asTuesday. Yeah, do I think that
that is that is going to happen? I don't. I don't think he's
going to prison. First of all, they've already said this. There's no

(14:30):
where they could put him. OhRykers is ready here, There's no there's
no where they could put him.You don't allow guns in there. He's
a former president of the United States. And I'm just going to throw this
out there for everybody thinks he's goingto jail. Scottie Scheffler spent more time
in jail than Trump will. Thisis not something you go to jail for
the hope of so many people outthere hoping and praying that this is going

(14:54):
to happen. You guys are foolingyourselves. Not going to happen, nor
should it happen. Look, ifyou want to bring up the other stuff
when it comes to mar A Lago, which I don't think is ever getting
off the ground, and we're gonnahave to wait to find out untill immunity
because of immunity is granted if youwill the Supreme Court granting the immunity.

(15:15):
If they say immunity, then there'snothing there. And nobody out there on
the left has answered the question, what if all four trials go down in
flames and you've got nothing, andyou've tried to prosecute the guy that's the
leader in the clubhouse for the Republicansthat will be representing the Republicans this November,
and you swang and missed. Andthat thing we brought up last week

(15:41):
of Trump being convicted in this casein New York and then having it thrown
out after the election's over, andhe loses a close one, and it
shows that this was a serious issuefor voters that decided not to vote for
him. Could you imagine what thatlooks like and the damage that would be
done? Lawfair, Kids, Lawfairthree, two, three, five,

(16:04):
three, eight, twenty four totwenty three at Chad Benson's show, is
your Twitter tweet at us text theprogram. A lot of you chiming in
about the Butcher dead. Did heWe'll talk a little bit more about Diddy
did he do it? He diddo it. There was no doubt about
that. That was absolutely bonkers. If you didn't see the video on Friday,
don't watch it. But Sean Diddydo it, Combs did it,

(16:29):
and he beat his ex horrifically. How is it coming out now? Because
this happened several years ago? Andthe question, like I always say,
who gets this stuff and then holdson to it? How is it only
now coming out? How are weonly hearing about it now, whether it's
Trump or Diddy or any of thesethings. Why is it only now we

(16:53):
hear about these things? But ifpictures say a thousand words, a million
words, a billion words, videoof Diddy and his ex girlfriend says a
trillion words, talk a bit aboutthat, A lot of other stuff to
get through. Three two three, five, three four twenty three at Chad

(18:00):
Gaza Graduation. Let's see how muchstudents actually know what they stand for?
Have you got them right? Youwin one hundred dollars. First question,
have you guys chanted from the riverto the sea? Yes? Okay,
which river? Which sea? Thesea of The answer was the Mediterranean and
the Jordan. What does hamask say? Their number one goal is according to

(18:21):
their charter, they just wanted thefree Pelt songs to murder all Jews around
the world. How many years didIsrael occupy Gaza late eighteen hundreds of the
hind entire time, forty is actuallyunder Egyptian control for the first twenty or
so years. And then these areactually left Gaza in two thousand and six.
Wait they left? Oh my god, Yes they did. They left.
They're like, we're God see guyslater. That was funny. What

(18:42):
do you know? What don't youknow? Well, there's you know the
thing because it's very important to alot of kids. At Morehouse this weekend,
Biden gave a speech at a historicallyblack college or university HBCU, and
one of the big things was Gaza, all of this stuff. I found

(19:02):
this entertaining because this goes across allcolleges, black or white, gay or
Strait. They have no idea whatthey're talking about. More, shall we
What is the definition of Zionis?Doesn't that mean you they hate Palestinians?
Right? Jewish people who think thatJudaism is the highest race. Zionism actually
just means that you think Jews areentitled to having their own homeland to protect
themselves from another Holocaust. You don'teven have to be Jewish that makes you

(19:25):
a Zionis Okay? What does antifaa revolution meet? So you've chanted it.
It's like a global call to murderedJews. Wow, wow, did
you know you said that? Wewould you say it again? Probably not?
She's eating She's like, probably not. I don't know. It depends
on the situation, because you know, I'm very much easily persuadable, and
I follow trends. In the trendright now is let's hate the Jews.

(19:47):
Itch have our foreign adversaries donated toAmerican universities in the last decade, no
idea. I couldn't give you anumber on that. The answer was over
six billion. How many gods andrefugees have the Arab neighboring countries let in
in the last a few months, thirty five thousand. Answer was zero.
Look, you ask an education majorabout students don't seem to know what they
stand for, So wouldn't it begreat if these expensive colleges actually taught them

(20:10):
something? Yeah, they don't knowwhat they stand for because it's whatever their
professors. So you were telling themand the joke aside of wouldn't it be
great if they learned something? Well, they're learning what the professors want them
to learn, and then they're takinga trend and they're tiktoking it and they're
going out there and they're being influencedand alas here we are not saying,
you know, we could sit here. We've had this debate here in this
conversation on numerous occasions, and Iagree one hundred and percent. Right now

(20:33):
there's a battle going on with bbnet and Yahoo and one of his supporters
slash Rivals, if you will, that there's got to be a plan in
place. There has to be,and right now there is no plan in
place. The plan is going,Okay, we got to eradicate Amass.
We have to think past that. What happens when we get to the point

(20:56):
where we've we've ankle Tomas. Yes, there's always going to be some fighters,
since some people are going to believein that, But we've gotten to
the point now where we have eliminatedthe threats as much as we're ever going
to be able to. What isthe plan after that? Because the plan
after that is going to be moreimportant at this point in time than getting

(21:18):
everybody Inamas, because you're not goingto because it's an ideology and it'll fester
somewhere else. So we'll see.Biden wants to cease fire. It's a
humanitarian crisis in Gaza. That's whyI've called for an immediaceasfire, an immediacy
swire, stop the fighting, bringthe hostage as holes, and I've been
working on a deal as we speakto get more aid into Gaza because the

(21:40):
question is, and you see what'sgoing on in Israal today, what after
what happens in Gaza? What rightsof the policy and people have I'm working
to make sure we finally get atwo state solution, the only solution.
Yeah, well we'll see, we'llsee what that looks like. I mean
do I think that this chance notin the It's what we've said from November

(22:02):
on. The only way a twostate solution happens, and I mean the
only way is if other Arab nationsget involved, and nobody wants to get
involved outside of bitching about the Jewswith a wink, wink, nudge,
nudge at this point in time, because I've said this over and over and
I'll continue to maintain this. Palestine'sa big pain in the ass for them
as well. They look over atIsrael and they're like, they're doing business,

(22:26):
they got stuff going on. Wewant a part of that. We
got some crazies in our country. We have to pretend like we hate you
guys, but all we really careabout at this point in time is money.
We want to be successful, wewant to feed our people. We
want to be a forward thinking societyas much as they're going to allow that.
And they look over at Palestine andsaid, those people would like to

(22:48):
take us back to the caves sowe can have sympathy and empathy and want
a to stay. But that onlyhappens if other Arab nations who don't really
want to get involved in that situationwhere they're overseeing what's going on in Palestine.

(23:11):
And how many times, and wesay this over and everyday, how
many times they've been offered a twostate solution eleven times? Go back to
go read what happened to Clinton?Oh man, I know right, that
was the worst. That was worsethan when I got caught with that youngster.
I mean she was twenty something whatever, you know what I mean.

(23:33):
I know he got so close. He got the Jews to give him everything
they wanted, and Arafat's like, nah, because you're not interested in it.
He was at more House over theweekend. We're talking about Biden,
and I'll sharp it had something tosay about that. I thought it was

(23:55):
a very good speech. I thoughtthat he really made some very key points,
including his outright call for an immediatecease fire. But I also think
where he listed things like the GeorgeFloyd Justice and policing active voting rights,
at specific things about how black unemploymentis down in terms of record unemployment.

(24:19):
So it was a substantive speech andit was inspirational, and it was at
a place that many of us seea sacred ground. Martin Luther King Junior
came from more House among many others, and I thought it was the place
to do it. I thought thestudents protested. It was a small amount,

(24:41):
but they did it with the dignitythat did not scar the school but
at the same time respected the graduation. So I thought it was a win
win for both the students and forthe president. Yeah, I really don't
think it was a win win.And then Biden went spoke to the NAACP,
which you know, he had toremind everybody. You know, hey,

(25:03):
since I was like an infant beenpart of this organization. My name
is Joe Biden, and I'm alifetime member of the NAACP. Matter of
fact, first organization I ever joinedwas the NAACP. Didn't get to vote
to you here at twenty one inthose days when I got involved in the
civil rights when I was fifteen, did you now, Yep, that's when

(25:27):
he marched with Mandela and Martin LutherKing across the bridge in Selma and then
over to Joe Burg and then hegot arrested. You guys remember that.
Yeah, he's done a lot ofthose things. He has. Let's remind
everybody the ethnicity of Biden and howmuch Biden is the King of pandering.

(25:51):
I was sort of raised in thePuerto Rican community. I had a very
close relationship with the Greek American community. Career, I am Joe Biden.
I grew up in a heavily IrishCatholic community in scrant Pennsylvania, in a
heavily Battalian Polish community. I gotraised in the Black church. He knows,
I'm not kidding. As a studentof the Persian culture, I probably

(26:11):
went to show more than many ofyou. I come out of the black
community in the back on. Myfamily was Irish American raised in the Pudogot.
Everyone in Tower is either Polish orItalian. And I grew up for
myself conscious my name didn't ski. That's right. That's where I got raised.
Man. So he got raised.Man. Always remember that. One

(26:33):
of the other things he said thisweek, and remind everybody what took place
on January sixth. Call the erectionistwho stormed Capitol Hill patriots. Okay,
who did what? Calls? Andthe erection a erectionist calls and the erectionist

is this is the second of thefour majors. Came down to a final

(30:21):
pot at Valhalla is now where thevikings go. Yeah, but this is
different. This is in Louisville,Kentucky, Kentucky. So Bryson a shambo,
the evil live golfer. I loveBryson, smashes the ball. He
already has done his thing. He'sin it twenty under Xander Schaffley, playing

(30:48):
two groups behind him. Only personthat can beat Bryson because he too is
at twenty hits his first drive orhis drive on the eighteenth first shot into
a situation where he has to standin the bunker. But the ball's not
in the sand trap if you will, it is outside, so he's got
to choke up on his club, wax it. That's his second shot.

(31:11):
He's about thirty yards off the green, chips it up to about six feet
and then has this to win it. You've practiced it as a kids and
thousanses times. Tell me yourself itwas for this very occasion to win it
all center what victory at Valha, victory at Valhalla. He's one of those

(31:41):
guys. It's a great golfer. He's got the one thing that the other
golfers don't have and can't win.And except every four years he's got a
gold medal, which is you knowit'd be one of those things where because
you don't know how. Here's thething with the sports, and in particular
Olympic sports, is outside of afew of them, the swimming, the
gymnastics, you're never really sure ifit's gonna stick around. Like we got

(32:05):
break dancing in this one, butI don't know how long breakdancing is gonna
be there. You might be theonly one. So there will be golf
this year, his chance to defendhis title. But he's got a gold
medal and now he's got a major, which is he's one of those great
golfers that never seemed to be ableto get over the hump. I walked
up, I saw a little leftright. I kept reading it. I

(32:27):
kept kind of panning sorry to lookright to left to me, and I
was like, oh my gosh, this is not what I want for a
winning putt. Fortunately it was uphill. It was you know, six feetish.
I ended up playing it straight. It did go left, caught the
left side. Just a huge justso much relief, so much relief.
Get that off your back, youknow of what, never being able to

(32:50):
win it. You win all theother stuff, but you can't win it.
But Friday obviously it started a littleweirder. According to the police report,
champion golfer Scotty Cheffer was behind thewheel being directed by a police officer
around an unrelated fatal accident scene whenhe refused to comply and accelerated forward,
dragging the officer to the ground.Scheffler later calling his arrest a big misunderstanding

(33:14):
and that he never intended to disregardany of the officer's instructions. Lousville's mayor
says there is no body camera footagefrom the police officers, but he says
video of the incident could be releasedthis week by all accounts, and everything
I've seen looks like they'll probably droppedthe charges. There was interesting listening to
him talk about it on because hecame out Friday and played really well,

(33:40):
then he struggled Saturday, and thenyesterday he was back to being Scottie.
And you got to think about thisguy has won for the last five tournaments.
He just had a baby, andI mean they had a baby last
week and then he was gone offthe play. So it was quite an
emotional week, you know. Andhe said that the cop asked him,
do you want the whole experience? He says with that, he goes,

(34:02):
you know, you want a sandwich? He said, General, I'll take
a sandwich. So he said,he stretched in the jail, they let
him out. He was gone, you know, straight there at about fifteen
twenty minutes and warm up went outthere if the feeling they're gonna drop all
of this stuff. One of thethings though, that I thought was cool
is he come out and he praisedthe cops even afterwards. Well it's a
very white thing to do. Iknow, I know, but I know
people are gonna say that. Butit was just like, hey, they

(34:24):
got a tough job. You know, it's a misunderstanding. They'll drop the
charges, no doubt about that.I mean to be, what are you
gonna get Are you really gonna gethim a felony for that? Well,
he dragged the guy. He didn'tknow what was going on, people reaching
in and trying to stop stuff.Maybe you do the same thing. Three
two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four twenty three at
Cheed Benson Show's your Twitter tweet athas text the program love hearing from all

(34:46):
of you. Obviously the big storyof the day, President and Leader,
that isn't the Ayatola in Iran isdead. President Ibrahim Raisi, Iran's foreign
minister, and seven others were aboardthe aircraft. Like in twenty twenty one,
President rays who was seen as atop contender for replacing Ayatola Komeni,
who vows after the crash there willbe no disruption to state affairs. Experts

(35:08):
are questioning how a transition of powerin Iran could affect a region already in
turmoil. Yeah, and so hehas come out and made sure that everybody
knows we still hate the Jews.Right. We're not sure they did or
didn't do this. There's a chancethey did do this, even though some
people are saying there's no foul play. Who said that, everybody, But

(35:29):
there is a chance that they controlthe weather. They control banking, Hollywood,
all the newspapers and the weather. And they made fog and the fog
took down the helicopter. So thisguy was called the Butcher of Tehran.
We'll get into a little deeper whohe is, what it could mean.
He was a Holocaust denier. Imean he sounded like he went to school

(35:50):
here three two, three, five, three eight twenty four to twenty three
at ched Benton's show, is yourTwitter. A lot of other stuff to
get to next hour moron obviously thedeath of the leader that is the second
in charge really because I had totalrules everything over there. Talk a bit
more about that. We've got somepolling numbers, a lot of other stuff
to get there, fallow across allthe social media, X instant and everything

(36:12):
else. It is the Chad BensonShow. This is the Chad Benson Show,

(36:40):
Independent thoughts, independent life. Thisis Chad Benson. If I was
to tell you several weeks ago you'drather be Kanye than Diddy, you'd be
like, what, Yeah, SeanDiddy Combs Puff Diddy Puff did it.
There's no doubt about that. Ifyou guys I haven't seen the video,

(37:00):
don't watch it. It's awful. In the surveillance video from a hotel in
Los Angeles in twenty sixteen, SeanCombs is seen in a towel beating up
his then girlfriend Cassie Ventura, chasingher down a hallway, throwing her to
the floor, kicking her while she'son the ground, dragging her across the
hotel hallway, then later throwing avase at her. The video was obtained
by CNN and it matches allegations ofabuse from Ventura that she thought in a

(37:21):
lawsuit last year, a suit thatwas ultimately settled. Combs's team is not
commented on the video, but hepreviously denied the accusations. Previously denied,
Oh, I didn't do anything.Well, you know, if a picture
says a lot, it's one ofthose things. You guys go back to
Ray Rice. Remember Ay Rice, football player. So the NFL suspended him,
I think for a couple games foralleged abuse against his girlfriend who's now

(37:42):
his wife. Then the footage cameout and he knocked her the blank out,
then dragged her across the parking lotin an underground garage by her hair.
Diddy upped it, and then heapologized. It's so difficult to reflect
on the darkest times in your life. Sometimes you gotta do that. I
was fucked up. I mean,I hit rock bottom, but I made

(38:05):
no excuses. My behavior on thatvideo is inexcusable. I take full responsibility
for my actions in that video.Disgusted. I was disgusted then when I
did it. I'm disgusted. Now. Were you really disgusted? Probably that
you were gonna get caught, Sohe whooped up on her good she was
on the ground and he punted herhead. I mean he with the town

(38:28):
on her. And the only reasonthere's no issues with this is because it's
past statute of limitations. Went andI sought out professional help kind of going
to therapy and going to rehab.Had to ask God for his mercy and
grace. I'm so sorry, butI'm committed to be a better manage every
day. I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm truly sorry. Well I don't

(38:50):
think you're gonna get you forgiveness. It's just man, that was just it
was insane, and I'm thinking tomyself, my god, Kanye is like
that guy's wacky. So you gotall of the stuff that goes with Let's
not forget. Was it a monthago they raided all of his homes,
took out like some two hundred cameras, all the computer stuff you could find
everything because of allegations of a lotof things. And then this comes out.

(39:14):
I'm always curious about why the videocomes out now? Why now,
Like it's been out there for awhile, obviously, who had it?
Somebody waiting for that right moment. And when they say he settled with her.
He settled the next day when shefiled that lawsuit. I'm curious to
find out what she got. Iwonder what she got. I go back
to ray Rice. They suspended itfor two games the NFL. That video

(39:37):
came out. He never played theNFL again. Will it be the same
with Diddy? He's no, He'snot going to play in the NFL.
But will he produce music? Willpeople want to work with him? That
is? Of course, he doesn'tget in trouble for other things because we
still have no idea what the Fedshave done and what they're looking for when
they raided his house. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at ChadBenson Show, is your Twitter? Tweet

(39:59):
at US text the program. Meanwhile, in Iran, in a forested hill,
the death of their president, PresidentIbrahim Raisi, Iran's foreign minister,
and seven others were aboard the aircraft. Elected in twenty twenty one, President
Raisi, who was seen as atop contender for replacing Ayatola Komeni, who

(40:21):
vows after the crash there will beno disruption to state affairs. Experts are
questioning how a transition of power inIran could affect a region already in turmoil.
Yeah, this guy was a baddude, sixty three years old.
It's called the Butcher of Tehran. He used to run their death squad back
in the day that he was kindof the judge and had thousands of prisoners

(40:45):
in the eighties, executed political prisoners. He has squashed ever since. The
young lady who refused to wear hera job and they took her in,
she was like, what twelve orthirteen that you ended up dying in their
custody and they're like, she hadheart attacker or whatever. She slipped and
fell in a banana peel and hither ad they any descent he crushed and

(41:08):
he was a big proponent of allthe proxies that help Iran push their evil
and hatred out, their largest exporterof terror on the planet. Hated the
West. And now he's gone dead, and the question is who's next.
So the person that is the vicepresident essentially will will be sworn in and

(41:35):
I think there'll be new elections withintwo months. But you never know what
the next guy is going to belike. Because this guy was an awful
human being, but he was atleast a known commodity. You had two
of the people who were most responsiblefor the trouble that Iran has been causing
in the region. They are,as we know, key supporters of the
Huthis, key supporters of Hamas, and key supporters of HESBLA, and so

(41:59):
all of the region woes and allof the instability are at least directed in
some way influenced by two of thepeople that were on that helicopter that are
no longer alive. Several other peopledied, dignitaries and whatnot. How why
why did this happen? We knowthat there was a lot of fog in
the area. We know that theyhad dignitaries, very important people, which

(42:20):
oftentimes puts an extra at least mentalburden on the past. They get to
get to the destination, and whenyou're flying in the mountains and you have
very low visibility, there's a superhelicopter pilast to begin to sort of descend
and try to get lower and tryto get underneath either the fog or the
cloud layer, and they know thatthey can set the aircraft down if they
need to, but oftentimes it leadsto tragedy. Yeah, because you're flying

(42:45):
in an area that is mountainous withfog everywhere. And we all know that
Jews control fog and all of theweather. They control the banking, the
media, and the weather. Youknow, there's somebody out there, probably
probably probably somebody controls it. Mygod, just insane. So who will

(43:07):
be next? I don't know. This guy was like he was on the
path to be the next Ayatola,Like they thought that highly of him,
Like he was going to be likeDickie Chief soon, like that was going
to be his gig and now nolonger with us. Tuba's full of super

(43:27):
full of hate. Just want topoint that out to you, speaking of
things that are full of hate.Cohen's back on the stand. Prosecutors could
rest their case as soon as todayagainst Donald Trump. First, though,
Michael Cohen's going to return to thewitness stand here for a fourth day of
testimony. He's still under cross examinationafter the defense accused Cohen of lying about
a phone call he said he hadwith Trump in late October twenty sixteen to

(43:50):
finalize the hush money deal with StormyDaniels. Oh oh, yes, have
they proved their case? They not, And there's no case to prove paying
people hush money for a story notto get out is not. I mean,
he should have done what the Clintonsdid, right then they have like

(44:13):
a bimbo squad or bimbo hip team. Not that they went out hit people,
maybe they did, maybe they didn't, but that went after tore up
anybody who came for him, andthen they ended up paying big money,
a lot more than one hundred andfifty grand. They'd pid like eight hundred
thousand back in the day when Ienterred thousands. A lot of money might
buy you a one vedom apartment ina place like California. What I love,

(44:34):
though, is because this is aat best a misdemeanor. At best,
Let's not forget that the statute oflimitations in a normal time would have
already passed, but because of COVID, we extended that if this thing got
to an appeals court, if itdoes, I think, at best,

(44:57):
I keep thinking they're gonna find itguilty, because but I think at I
think it's gonna be hung jury andthat's not a win. But if it
gets in an appeals court, they'regonna look at this and then what are
you guys doing, because you stillhaven't proven your case, and that case
is to make it a felony, you had to prove that he was doing
this to do another crime, andyou have never pointed out what that crime
is. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to

can't lead us and the country isscrewed. Tell some big guys barely speak
Sannglish, sniffs chugi and their mom'shere too. Goes the wrong way when

(47:23):
he leaves his speeches gets lusty inthe White House yard. Oh, that's
not very nice chat. You're right, he's with it right course. And
the direction is who stormed Capitol Hillpatriots? The what again? Course?

(47:44):
And the direction is who stormed CapitolHill patriots? The erectionist? What was
it like? Well, they wereattacking us, and let's just say it
was different. It's not very nicechat. He just made a mistake.
How about some more music? Allthe damns that we should relet him?
How can he run when walking ishard? The jokey bmine mom je joke.

(48:24):
That's not very nice. Shed. He's with it this over the weekend.
I've heard a lot of people talkabout this. Uh, but I
want you to listen to him, because he was in Detroit talking to the
NAACP, talking to the mayor, talking to everybody, giving big speeches and
uh, you know, doing whatJoe does. And I want you to

(48:45):
listen to what he he says herebecause you're like, huh. And when
I was vice president, thanks forkind of bad during the pandemic. And
what happened was Rock said to me, go to Detroit help fix well poor
Mary. He spend more time withme than he ever thought he was going
to have to when you were vicepresident during I want to hear that again.

(49:09):
You're vice president during what? Andwhen I was vice president, thanks
were kind of bad during the pandemic. You were not vice president during the
pandemic. You were not. AndI just again, look, both of
these guys have serious issues. ButBiden talking about being vice president during the

(49:30):
pandemic? Are you kidding me togo along with his erectionism? These erectionists
there everywhere. Excuse me, sovery nice. President Biden delivering a fiery
speech the NAACP and the key stateof Michigan, taking the stage in front
of African American voters in Detroit andtaking aim at his rival. Ask if

(49:52):
he thought volence would a cur ifhe lost, He said, quote,
it depends. How could it beto any American president not denounced political violence.
That speech was the second major stopSunday, the president also speaking at
Morehouse College. Yeah, they werenot thrilled by that. We'll get to
that in a second. More fromBiden's speech at the NAACP. My name

(50:14):
is Joe Biden, and I'm alifetime member of the NAACP. Matter of
fact, the first organization I everjoined was the NUBACP didn't get to vote
to your twenty one in those days. But I got involved in the civil
rights when I was fifteen. I'msure you did, because you've been everything

(50:35):
to everybody. Depends on where heis such a politician, but his lives
or spectac Yeah, the first thingI ever did came out of my mom's
wound. Joined the NAACP, marchedwith Mendela and Martin Luther King at the
same time when I was arrested forsticking up for people's civil rights, just

(50:55):
before we walked over the you know, the brain like, I don't really
think that's true, but let's remindeverybody some of the things he's done in
the past. I was sort ofraised in the Puerto Rican community, and
I had a very close relationship withthe Greek American community. For real,
I am Joe Bidenopolis. I grewup in a heavily Irish Catholic community in

(51:17):
scrant Pennsylvania, in a heavily ItalianPolish community. I got raised in the
Black Church. He knows, I'mnot kidding. As a student of the
Persian culture, I probably went toshow more than many of you. I
come out of the Black community inthe back on. My family is Irish
American raised in the Udgog. Everyonein town is either Polish or Italian,

(51:39):
and I grew up feel myself conscious. My name did Ski. That's right,
That's where I got rained. Andthat just little things he's done in
the past, all of the thingshe has been met, he is cultured,
to say the least. Speaking ofit, he didn't give a speech
at Morehouse. Some students were notthrilled, not some of them turned around
during this speech, but even beforethat they were talking about it. The

(52:01):
campus of Morehouse has really just beenbeen it's been air of confusion. I
feel like it's just a way tokind of get the black vote, in
the young vote, and to helphis election because I believe he knows that
less and less people are in supportof him, especially with his handling of
Israel and power sign and his banningof TikTok and the aid that he is

(52:23):
sending to countries, and just thekind of economic state of the United States
right now. Yeah, we've gotsome fun stuff about a game called do
you know Guys essentially coming up alittle bit which most people have no idea
what's going on over there. ButI like how they through the banning of
TikTok's a big deal. I'm nota fan of his coming here for multiple

(52:46):
reasons. It looks very good onpaper that President Biden is coming to speak
at Morehouse College. It's considered veryprestigious whatever, But I think a lot
of the seniors are suffering because ofit. As someone who has felt very
weird at this portion in time andhistory, with the tension and Gaza,

(53:08):
I think it's important for Biden tocome with the intention of wrestling with the
issues at hand. Yeah, thereyou go. So they were not thrilled.
Some of them were fine with it. It's the president. You should
be honored that he shows up andgets through it. Okay, you don't

(53:29):
have to like the guy. Showsome respect to the office. And it's
all about Gaza because that's the bigthing, right and it is and politicians
will be whatever they need to be. And this goes for both sides of
the aisle. So Trump comparing himselfto Lincoln again, I just shake my
head. I sit there and think, oh my god, this is where
we are. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four

(53:50):
to twenty three at chat Benson showsyour Twitter, tweet at as texta program.
If you miss any of the showShame, you can grab the podcast
make it up to meet. It'sthe Chad Benson Job, the Chad Benson
Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life. This is Chad Benson. It's time

(54:31):
to talk about immigration. House Republicanleadership says the BIND part is in border
bill that the Senate plans to voteon this week is quote dead on arrival
if it comes their way. Butthe White House says it strongly supports the
legislation and calls on every Senator toquote put partisan politics assigned and vote to
secure the border. Press Secretary KarineJean Pierre says the BIND parties in legislation

(54:54):
would deliver quote significant policy changes, resources and personnel needed to secure the border.
How do I know I can trustyou with it because you've got all
of the things you've needed to fixthe border to secure the border. That's
not true. It is true. And guys, let me tell you something.
Every day that I go out,I talk about playing pick a ball.
I mostly play with on average, ten to fifteen Border patrol agents every

(55:17):
single day over the weekend played. There was probably forty people in our group
playing. I've probably about twenty ofthem Border Patrol agents across the board,
some retired, some still working.Different one show up each and every time
I played two weeks ago in atournament for the Border Patrol. They laugh
at this like it's a joke.If you're not, I don't care.

(55:42):
All the money we're gonna change theYou're not doing the things now, and
you want more tools. You're notusing all the things that are your disposal
now and you want more tools. No, you want political cover. That's
what you want. Look, there'ssome things that are needed. They need
to take some steps. There's nodoubt. How long does it take to
even see a judge. Well, they're trying to streamline that process. As

(56:07):
it stands, it can take fouryears from the moment an asylum seker arrives
at the US border and the momentthat an immigration judge rules on the asylum
request. The DHS has assigned tenjudges to handle reprioritized cases with the goal
of cutting that four years down tosix months, six months from four years.
And that's you're really like, that'sa tough thing to get it down

(56:30):
to four years. But there's onlya certain group that that's going to work
for There are other places in thecountry Florida and several other places where you're
looking at seven to ten years beforeyou see anybody your life. You're entrenched
here now you are Immigration. Youknow, we've talked about Abe, Abe

(56:54):
Linkett, No, the three thingsthat are going to drive this election from
a national perspective. Obviously Ukraine, what's going on in Israel is a big
deal. But abortion, a border, b economy e So Abe, those

(57:16):
are the three things that will bea driver in this And if you're talking
four years, but you want thebills, Bipartisan's the best bill ever,
it's the greatest bill. It's betterthan nothing. But I go back to
this and I've said it over andover again, and both sides are we
like you to put the partisanship.Nobody's gonna put it aside. Nobody's gonna

(57:39):
put partisanship aside because it sells. We saw that last week with the insanity
of what's going on, you know, in Congress, to them fighting with
each other. And we'll get tothat a little bit later, but they're
never going to put it aside, not at this point in time, because
partially because we're so tribal and wewon't allow that. And the other part

(58:01):
of it is because you and Iboth know that it's good for business for
them. It's good for business becauseyou can't come out and talk about it,
right, raise money off of it, become a pelebrity. It's good
for business. So let's talk aboutthis because so much of our national conversation,
which is not a conversation about immigration, is driven by people who could

(58:24):
not care less about immigrants because it'snot a border crisis, it's an imperialism
crisis. Is a climate crisis,it's a trade crisis. AOC of course,
it's a climate crisis. What didI tell you guys? In the
coming years, and I've said thisfor the last year, climate change will
be a reason for people to immigrate. Here we're going to talk about the

(58:46):
pope. Last night was on sixtyminutes and ural O'Donnell, you know,
softballed the hell out of it.But he also said some stuff that I'm
sure, well, it's so funnybecause they're like he went after the right,
but then he talked about surrogacy andthings of that nature. Oh my
god, how could you do that? It's the immigration problem isn't going away.

(59:09):
And you're here illegally. You've crossedthe border illegally, you've taken advantage
of, you know, of cominghere and using our knowing full you have
zero chance of staying, zero chanceof staying. But when you hear what
she just said there, I wantyou to listen to it again. Throw
out the climate crisis, what else? So let's talk about this because so

(59:30):
much of our national conversation, whichis not a conversation about immigration, is
driven by people who could not careless about immigrants. Because it's not a
border crisis. It's an imperialism crisis. Is a climate crisis, it's a
trade crisis, it's an imperialism crisis. It's imperialism. What if we're so

(59:54):
bad, why are you coming here? I don't run at the bear.
If the bear is hungry or protectingtheir cubs. It's a bear crisis.
Run at the bear. And theywant to say, what about the surge,
Well, first of all, justgut check stop. Anyone who's using

(01:00:14):
the term surge around you consciously istrying to invoke a militaristic frame. This
is not a surge. These arechildren, and they are not insurgents,
and we are not being invaded, which, by the way, is a
white supremacist idea philosophy. She's sucha freaking clown one our much money should

(01:00:42):
make on the only fans. That'snot very nice yet aosee there. So
if you're worried, so let meask you a question. Okay, because
it's so blocking immigrants from coming tothis country is white supremacy? What about
other nations who aren't white, whodon't want other people coming there? What
about all of the Palestinians not beingtaken in by the other Arabs? Is

(01:01:06):
that a white supremacy thing. I'mcurious about that. Last night the Pope
on the sixty Minutes, surrounded bythe Sacred Francis has not forsaken his sense
of humor, even when discussing serioussubjects like the migrant crisis. My grandparents
were Catholic, immigrated from Northern Irelandin the nineteen thirties to the United States

(01:01:30):
seeking a better life. And Iknow your family too, fled fascism.
And you have talked about with migrants, many of them children, that you
encourage governments to build bridges not walls. So we're building bridges not walls.

(01:01:50):
That's what he's talked about CCCC see. See that's what we've done it that
migration is something that makes the countrygrow. They say that you Irish migrated
and brought the whisky and whiskey, that the Italians migrated and brought them afia.

(01:02:12):
It's a joke. Don't take itbadly, but migrants sometimes suffer a
lot. They suffer a lot much, they suffer a lot. You guys
brought whiskey and alcoholism to America, and uh, the Italians brought themselves a
bunch of gangsters. Why not letmore people here? Huh. I grew
up in Texas and I don't knowif you've heard, but the state of

(01:02:32):
Texas is attempting to shut down aCatholic charity on the border with Mexico that
offers undocumented migrants humanitarian assistance. Whatdo you think of that? That is
madness, sheer madness. To closethe border and leave them there, that

(01:02:52):
is madness. The migrant has tobe received thereafter you see how you're going
to deal with them. Maybe youhave to send them back. I don't
know, but each case ought tobe considered humanely, right, yeah,
but knowing full well based on ourlaws, that they're gonna end up going
back. That's the reality of it. We're gonna have more of this next

(01:03:15):
hour. But it just the waythat sixty minutes the migrants and the kids
just like AOC they're just kids andthis wonderful people and they're just I get
it. We can all sympathize,we can have empathy. We should.
That being said, having no borderand allowing anybody to come here whenever they
want willy nilly is not a policy. It's a failure. Three two,

like talk radio like Chad Benson likeshis meals, you've come to the perfect
place for takeout. Welcome to GazaGraduation. Let's see how much students actually
know what they stand for. Youget them right, you win one hundred
dollars. First question, have youguys chanted from the river to the sea?
Yes, okay, which river?Which sea? The sea of the

(01:05:15):
answer was the Mediterranean and the Jordan. What does Hamas say their number one
goal is, according to their charter, they just wanted the free Palestians to
murder all Jews around the world. How many years did Israel occupy Gaza,
lady, teen hundreds of the highentire time is actually under Egyptian control for
the first twenty or so years. And then these are actually left Gaza in
two thousand and six. Wait theyleft? I love that? Wait what

(01:05:36):
they left? No? Wait,no, come on, that's all they
do. You know, from theriver from the Mississippi to the Pacific,
isn't it terrific? I love this? They have no idea again, Gaza
Palestine, it's a fashion statement. What is the definition of zionis Didn't that
mean you they hate Palestinians? Right? Jewish people who think that Judaism is

(01:05:59):
the highest grease. Zionism actually justmeans that you think Jews are entitled to
having their own homeland to protect themselvesfrom another Holocaust. You don't even have
to be Jewish that makes you aZionist. Okay, what does antipater revolution
meet? That means you've chanted it. It's like a global call to murdered
Jews. Wow, Wow, didyou know you said that? Would you
say it again? Probably not?Probably not. I like to say probably

(01:06:21):
not. I don't know. Itdepends on the mood, right Like,
if I'm feeling it, I'm like, hey, this could be cool.
Zionism. What does it mean?A movement that re establishes the development and
protection of a Jewish nation what isnow Israel is established as a political organization
eighteen ninety seven. But it doesn'tit mean that you hate? That's what

(01:06:45):
you hate, Poulse, That's whatit means. It's a fashion statement at
JEMR. Foreign adversaries donated to Americanuniversities in the last decade, no idea.
I couldn't give you a number onthat. Answer was over six billion.
How many gods and refugees have theArab neighboring countries let in in the
last few months? Thirty answer waszero? Look, you a's an education

(01:07:05):
major about students don't seem to knowwhat they stand for, So it wouldn't
it be great if these expensive collegesactually taught them something? And I think
it's funny, you know, thirtyfive thousand, no zero, And the
reason is simple, they don't wantthem there. They don't want them there,
because what we always hear about isjust it. It's the children and

(01:07:25):
the women. The reality is isif you're gonna let people in, you're
probably gonna let men in. Andhow many of them. Egypt looks around,
they got the Muslim brotherhood. Theywant no part of this. Jordan
has already gone through this hell whenthey allowed a bunch in and they tried
to kill the king. They wantno part of it. And these kids

(01:07:45):
go out there and they scream anyhow, they do silly things because they're
kids, and in some cases they'reindoctrinated and they've bought into this. And
remember this, this thing that wesee on these college campuses, that is
going to subside for a while becauseit's summertime. But the things that we're
seeing on these college campuses are whatthis is. This neo Marxism, this
wacky modern Marxism where it is aboutoppressor and oppressed, this intersectionality. That's

(01:08:14):
what you're seeing on these college campuses. Speaking of stupid, I know that
Afghanistan, if you guys don't knowthis, they're trying to bring tourism up
and make tourism a thing again.I'm not lying. I'm not lying.
And they've even you know, they'regonna have ad campaigns and the whole nine

(01:08:35):
yards. I come to Afghanistan,it's like super awesome and stuff. Well
guess what, and they're really pushingfor this. Uh, you're probably not
gonna want to go, right. They have a fledgling tourism sector that they've

(01:08:56):
been pushing and I do mean likeunder a thousand, but they want to
get it up there. But whenyou know, when you go to Disneyland,
there may be a mishap. I'mnot gonna lie. Oh boy,
It's happened a few times, usuallypeople doing something stupid, but very rarely,
and you know what doesn't happen atDisneyland. The Islamic State cleaning responsibility
for an attack on tourists in Afghanistanthat killed three Spaniards and three Afghans.

(01:09:19):
Three other tourists were shot and wounded, but are now in stable condition.
According to the Taliban government, thegroup was fired upon while shopping in the
bazaar in the mountainous city of Bamiyan. One person said his name is Joe
Scheffer, founder of Safarat tourism agencythat specializes in tourism to the country.

(01:09:41):
If there's another attack in the nextfew weeks or months, Afghan tourism,
well, the industry itself will beover. You think who's going there?
Now? Look, there are peopleout there, young people, usually stupid,
who want to do crazy things.Right, and I'm not talking about
like lu gonna climb Everest. I'mtalking about they want to go to Chernobyl

(01:10:02):
and they want to walk around andsee stuff. They want to go to
war zones and see it for themselves. And you know, these people decided
this is the place that they weregoing to go, and lo and behold,
this is what happens. It's likethose people that want to go to
North Korea, why why would youdo that? So don't go to Afghanistan.

(01:10:26):
If somebody says I got a greatidea, I know somewhere we should
go, and you're like, whereAfghanistan? No, don't because the chances
of you dying could be high.Speaking of dying, he does it all
the time. The phrase playing possumtakes on a whole new life when you
see Carson the opossum dying over andover again. So there he is dead

(01:10:48):
again. We're just going to leaveour little dead friend right there. Hey,
I know that half the internet ishere right now just to see Carson
die. I can see that he'sdoing very well other than being dead.
This orphan, a possum, cameto Tennessee's for fox Sake Wildlife Rescue,
and instantly Carson began playing dead everytime Director Juniper Russo came near him.

(01:11:12):
Yeah, it's hilarious if you've notseen him. He's quite. He's quite,
he's quite amazing. He just keelsover dead every time she especially gets
near him. Sure, other possumsplay dead out of dread, but at
least you catch them looking alive.Sometimes not Carson. So how many times
has he died on you? Probablyabout one hundred and fifteen, and the

(01:11:33):
internet loves it. It's an involuntarydefensive reaction. He gets stiff or floppy,
stops blinking, tends to drool. He's dead and he's healthy, sounds
I got president. It's not avery nice, Chad. How about some
more? Have you ever thought hewas actually dead? There was one time

(01:11:54):
I ran and got the stethoscope andlistened to his lungs and heart. He
was completely fine. Fans like tocatch cars and faking a quivering lip,
a telltale blank Juniper wants glimpsed himrunning on an exercise wheel, but by
the time she started recording, hewas standing up dead. You enjoy being
dead in here. Okay, I'llsee you tomorrow. Ah, a little

(01:12:17):
fun with all the craziness going onin the world. Three two, three,
five, three, eight, twentyfour to twenty three at Chad Benson
Show is your Twitter. We'll havemore from Iran, so we go live
now. We're not going to golive there, for God's sakes, but
the president is dead. What happensnow? We've got some stuff about Israel.
We've got a lot of other stuffgoing on. You can fall across
all the social media. Make sureyou grab the podcast as well. Appreciate

(01:12:40):
it when you do that. Itis the Monday edition of the Chad Beinton
Shurl. This is the Chad BensonShow, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life.

(01:13:15):
This is Chad Benson. It's theeconomy stupid. You know that, and
I know that. Over the weekend, I watch a bunch of the muckety
muck shows, smarty folks Sunday talkingabout stuff, all dressed up in there,
top hat and tails, talking aboutstuff. That's all for grown ups.
When you're a kid, you're like, I don't know why that's stupid.
Now I watch it. That's partof my job. But I found

(01:13:36):
this interesting. I matched up afew polls here that show a lot about
where we are and how we feelabout Trump v. Biden, and a
lot of it's the economy stupid. But despite it all, the state of
the race remains stagnant. Biden continuesto trail former President Trump in several key
battleground states, down by double digitsin Nevada and Georgia, states he won

(01:13:59):
in twenty twenty. In Florida andArizona, we pulled in both of those
dates by almost three to one.Voters say President Trump would be better for
their finances than President Biden. InArizona, Trump has a ten point advantage
on the specific question of who caresabout people like you a lot and the
economy again and again, number oneissue, Number one issue, the economy,

(01:14:21):
stupid. Trump, What do youthink about it? You're very busy
with something else. We have securityright now. We have security right now,
and we're just racing our New Yorkcourses, and we're really just racing
our country. Because all over theworld they watch ye I love that.
It was like how much further inthe bathroom does he have to go?

(01:14:41):
That was from today. We'll touchon that in a second. But one
of the things, obviously, youknow, we've talked about ABE and I
keep going over that abortion, border, economy, big deals. Those are
the three domestic issues that are goingto be huge. Obviously there's stuff going
on in Ukraine. Obviously there's stuffgoing on globally with China and what's happening
in Gaza and with Israel. Butthese are the three we feel these at

(01:15:06):
home. We don't have boots onthe ground in any of those places.
And while it's costing us money,it's you know, as one person put
it, it's a rounding air inreality for the amount of money we spend
on stuff. But prices, whilethey're going down, it's not really what
you think. Price is on foodat home down point two percent overall in

(01:15:27):
April, according to the liber Department. In some cases price is down even
more. Milk, chicken, fruitsand vegetables nearly one percent, lower apples
down two point seven percent for thegrill Master, pork ribs down two point
three percent, and eggs down sevenpoint three percent. That's great ish because
the fact is this is down therate of inflation. When they talk about

(01:15:54):
stuff being down, that sounds great. People are like, oh my god,
it's down. Then you go andlook and realize, wait a minute,
it was up fifty eight percent,it's up forty three percent, down
two percent. You're not feeling that. That's a dixie cup in a pool
where you're taking out a little bit. You're not feeling it. And you
know that. And they're not talkingabout a lot of other things. And

(01:16:14):
this is something, you know, one of the things we've talked about when
it comes to the cost of inflationand the rise of it and what it's
costing us. We never talk aboutcar insurance, which is through the roof
childcare. Childcare. You're I'm gonnahear this elsewhere today, I bet because
not sexy. But some of youout there, whether you're a grandparent raising

(01:16:36):
your kids, we'll talk about thatin a second, or helping out.
The cost of childcare now is skyrocketto a point where you're like, are
you kidding me? Childcare is twentyfive percent more than rent for the average
family in all fifty states, andnot only rent, mortgage payments are also

(01:16:58):
getting outpaced by childcare in at leastforty five states. So here's a breakdown
of some of the regions of whatyou're paying for. This report specifically focused
on the average family, meaning youhave two kids at a daycare center,
an infant and a four year old, and this is the yearly price,
the annual price. So basically youhave the Midwest, Southwest all hovering in
that twenty thousand dollars range, inthe Northeast more than thirty two thousand dollars,

(01:17:23):
and according to this report, atthis rate, that means it would
cost ten percent of a married couple'smeeting income to a ford childcare and the
thirty two percent of a single parentsmeeting income. Both of those figures are
outpacing that seven percent target that isrecommended by the US Department of Health and

(01:17:45):
Human Services of what you should bepaying for childcare. And so it is
no wonder that parents across the countryfeel like they are always on the brink,
always on the brinkan listen to that. So it cost you more now
to essentially how's your kid during thehey then it does to house yourself and
your kid when they're not at theother place. Yeah, fifteen hundred alone

(01:18:08):
a month, just for him.I can't pay that. That's half of
more than half of my check. We haven't been able to raise our childcare
rates, and we have parents thatare leaving because of the cost of living.
Yeah, that is a lady whocan barely afford to pay for childcare,
and the lady that is running aplace can. We can't even raise
our rates because we can't. Webarely keep people here because they can't afford

(01:18:30):
it. But you got to eattoo. Elderly care. Childcare huge money,
massive, massive money. But thisis one of those things that's not
sexy, but it's not being talkedabout. And what are you gonna do?
I mean, in theory, itis the government gonna come in and
just pay for everybody's childcare. SoI keep telling everybody. If I'm a
business and I have a decent sizedbusiness, to retain employees, it's not
just about can I give them araise? You ask yourself. Got this

(01:18:54):
giant office here, we're not usinga portion of it. Childcare will be
a good place. Oh that'd be'dbe pretty cool, right, It's massive
saying hey, look you know,we're not giving you. You know,
you can go across the street andmake eighty grand. You can stay here,
make sixty five and your kid couldbe here and you don't have to
pay for that. Oh well, that's a big deal. Little things like

(01:19:15):
that. But the cost of childcareis at a point now where it is
outpacing rent and mortgage everywhere in thecountry. Of course, parents feeling the
squeeze, but as you just heardfrom there that is a childcare center director,
they are also really feeling the squeeze. You know. The pandemic forced
about sixteen thousand childcare providers to close, and then any you know, relief

(01:19:36):
funding has since expired, so therecould be more closures down the road.
Wages for childcare providers are very low, the US Department of Labor data saying
that they make about thirty thousand dollarsper year that's on average. And then
a recent report says that it wouldcost the federal government about sixteen billion dollars

(01:19:59):
per year to try to fix thissystem get it back on track. So
it's not as broken as some wouldsay as it is now. One of
the other things is people are beingtold they got to go back to the
office. Well, for the lastthree and a half four years, depending
on where you've lived, you've hadsome luxury of working out of the house,
which gives you an opportunity to bemore malleable with your time and what

(01:20:27):
you're doing when it comes to childcare, kids, after school, things of
that nature. So that has alsobeen a huge helper for some people.
That's why going back to you know, I've had several people I've worked with
when I was in the office upin Phoenix and said, yeah, it's
just not worth it. It's cheaperfor me to stay at home than to

(01:20:48):
be in a position where I gotto find decent childcare that isn't going to
break the bank, and also haveto be certain places at a certain time.
It's not being talked about. Theseare the things that when we talk
about the election and what's coming, these are the things. It's not just

(01:21:09):
about the food, the cost ofliving and when it comes to rent and
gas. Those things are all ashuge part of it because we see it.
But imagine if you're making forty granda year, your husband or wife's
making forty or fifty grand a yearbetween the two after taxes, you guys
take home five or six grand butyou got a couple kids in two thousand
that goes to childcare that eat stuffup fast. Speaking of grandchildren, wow,

(01:21:32):
grandparents also involved. Sixty one yearold grandmother Raylena Bonilla never expected to
be raising her grandchildren. They're mybears. I call them my bears.
US Census data shows that more thantwo million American grandparents are responsible for their
grandchildren. Even though parenting grandchildren ishard work, Lena feels blessed. I

(01:21:54):
don't care the sacrificial finances or thesmall home their family. They're yeah,
they're happy, and that's what counts. And when ABC News Washington, some
people are lucky to have that. But a lot of those people are raising
their grandkids. They're raising them. They're not watching them, they're raising them.
Trust me, when I look overat my mother, who has raised

(01:22:15):
my little sisters, seven kids andfor the most part, adopted all of
them. So they're my little brothersand sisters. And she's seventy two years
old. Seventy three should be seventythree still raising kids. I have a
eleven year old little brother. Justto put that out there, Oh jeez,

(01:22:39):

(01:24:29):
What's trending? I'm signed James Dean, Norway, Oman, Pakistan,
Qatar, Russia, Sir Raslad whattrappings by that was trending in the old

(01:24:55):
interwebs obviously number one trending thing today. He Wro the butcher of Tehran.
Their presidents died in a helicopter crashIbraheim Raisie, the country's foreign minister,
as well six others found dead Monday. I joked earlier, they'll blame the
Jews. You guys controlled fog.So he and several others were in Azerbaijan.

(01:25:24):
They were coming back. Haven't heardit was fog. It was a
mountainous area yesterday said it was ahard landing. By the time they got
to everybody, they realized that therewas no survivors. And he was a
hardliner, brutal dude who some peoplesaw as the next Ayatola. So dead

(01:25:47):
dead, not a nice guy.Let's be real, all right, if
we're going to throw that out there. Timberwolves, Nuggets, Pacers, Nixt
Dallas, Maverick's Man City. It'sa soccer team and when their fourth Premier
League in a row yesterday American idol. I didn't even know that was still
going on, but it is.Apparently there was a winter yesterday. Kaitlin
Clark Horizon, an American saga. This is the new project that Kevin Costner's

(01:26:15):
been doing, and apparently it's quiteepic, and this is the beginning of
could be several of these, andit's about obviously people traveling from the East
to the West. What it waslike to do such things. PGA Championship

(01:26:41):
yesterday, also trending on the oldinterwebs. Over to Yahoo Iran Prince Harry
Fury, Who's sick? That wasthe boxing match the other night. PGA
Leaderboard, Kevin Costner, Donald Trump, Taylor Swift, weakness and Harrison Butker
still trending. What do you saynow? I said he would have quit

(01:27:04):
the NFL he had to take avaccine. I saw that. The daughter
of the chiefs owners, Casey Hunt, and kind of came out and said,
look, he's got a right tobelieve this stuff. You're Bill Maher
talk about it. He's got aright to have this. He didn't say
anything crazy. The people freaked outabout it, the left in particular,

(01:27:26):
Oh my god, you mean youwould want traditional things? That's what are
you thinking? Patriarchy And finally readover to Twitter. Good Monday, Iran,
Timberwolves, big comeback, Mike Malone, Butcher of Tehran, Supreme Leader,

(01:27:48):
helicopter. It's not very nice. The massade all trending. Scooby do
If you guys didn't see the ScoobyDoo Saturday Night Live thing, the other
day. It's pretty epic. Let'sjust say that it was very violent,
far more violent than you would thinkScooby Doo would be. And it was

(01:28:09):
a live action Jake, Jill andHall. It was. It was pretty
damn good. I'm not gonna uh, I'm not gonna lie on it when
because they do everything live obviously, but this was something they filmed before they
added Scooby Doo. And it lookedkind of like the movies were the live
action movies, but there was gunsand decapitations. Shaggy lost his arm and

(01:28:31):
died. He bled out Fred's aKiller. It was spectacular. Three two,
three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty three at
you had Benson shows, your Twitter, tweet at US text the program.
Love hearing from every single one ofyou. Speaking of Saturday Night Live,
they had a little fun when itcame to well, all kinds of stuff

(01:28:53):
including yes, kids, the debate, the great debate that is going to
happen, and I will say it'suh well, I mean they were kind
of spot on with this. PresidentBiden and President Trump have agreed to two
debates this summer. For a previewof the debates, take a bottle of
ambient and adderall. At the sametime, Biden posted a video challenging Trump

(01:29:15):
to the debate, saying make myday Pale, to which Trump responded,
let's get ready to rumble, twophrases that are guaranteed to lock up the
youth votes. See the way theydid that, because those are things from
like the seventies and eighties. Obviously, let's get ready to rumble is still

(01:29:36):
something that is somewhat relevant because theystill do that, mister Buffer, Michael
Buffer, Let's get ready rumbore.I don't want to say it because he'll
probably come and sue us. Butuh, and I'm sure I'm surprised you're
not suing Trump. But I don'tyou know, because he's trademarked that.
If you don't know that, MichaelBuffer's trademarked let's get ready to And because

(01:29:58):
of that, because I can't believeyou said, they will come for you
if you use it, and it'scrazy. And then, of course,
you know, make my day pal, well, not so much, Powell,
make my day it was a dirty, hairy thing. So getting it
to the point where young people aregetting involved probably not so much. Three

(01:30:18):
two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four twenty three at
Chad Benson Show's your Twitter tweet athis texta program should City show? Make
sure you grabbed the podcast. Alot of stuff still to get to here
on this beautiful Monday. It isThe Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson

(01:30:38):
Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life. This is Chad Benson. Iranian officials

(01:31:02):
confirming the deaths of President Ebrahim Raisi, foreign Minister Hassein Emir dali Hian,
and several others after their helicopter crashedin Iran's mountainous northwest. Forced to make
a hard landing in heavy fog.Iranian Red Crescent rescue teams seen a new
video from Iranian state media carrying bodiesfrom the crash site. Yeah, so

(01:31:25):
he's dead. He hated the West, call them butcher of Tehran. The
president. They have fifty days,so the vice president is taking over.
They have fifty days until the nextelection. This guy was seen as maybe
the successor to the Ayatola. SoI don't feel sad about it. I
have to be honest with you.Maybe some people should be like, oh,

(01:31:46):
that's super sad. But this guy, he hates the Jews. He
is this guy in his twenties. The reason they call him the Butcher of
Tehran is because he was essentially standingin judgment as a judge, sentencing people
who are political prisoners to death bythe thousands. And then over the last

(01:32:08):
several years and while he was president, he squashed every opportunity there was a
dissension of voice, especially when itcame to the young women and the hijabs
and all of the you know thatyoung girl who was thirteen who died in
custody, And then of course therewas all of these people out there protesting

(01:32:29):
and he squashed thatt So do Ifeel because some of you are like,
I can't believe the callousness of you, and I'm like, uh, you
guys have no idea how callous Ican be. You think this guy was
a good dude. We sit heretalking Trumps some meaning, and he tweets
me things and he says mean things, and he's mean. This guy was

(01:32:53):
a flat out killer who enjoyed it. He enjoyed the power, the crushing
of souls, the squashing descent.Yeah, that's what this guy was.
So settle yass down, if youwill. Speaking of Trump, it's that
time of the week and day we'retalking about the Trump trials. Doom doom.

(01:33:15):
Prosecutors could rest their case as soonas today against Donald Trump. First,
though, Michael Cohen's going to returnto the witness stand here for a
fourth day of testimony. He's stillunder cross examination after the defense accused Cohen
of lying about a phone call hesaid he had with Trump in late October
twenty sixteen to finalize the hush moneydeal with Stormy Daniels. Finalize that hush

(01:33:38):
money deal Stormy Daniels. What's theprosecution gonna do? Are they making any
headways? Are people buying into thiscrap? Michael Cohen's going to return to
the witness stand here for a fourthday of testimony. He's still under cross
examination after the defense accused Cohen oflying about a phone call he said he
had with Trump in late October twentysixteen to finalize the hush money dealt Me

(01:34:00):
Daniels. Once Cohen is finished, there may be an additional witness to enter
a document or two into the record, and after that, prosecutors are expected
to rest confident they've proved Trump falsifiedbusiness records to hide the hush money from
voters. It's ridiculous. It doesn'tmatter. I bet you Trump's paid out
lots of these. I bet youevery ceo, every business in the country

(01:34:25):
has paid out tons of money togo away, made people sign NDA's before
they ever got to the position wherethey could sue. Let's stop pretending the
question is is it illegal? No, it's not, so who cares well?
This is about falsifying records. Thisis about writing something down and saying,

(01:34:45):
all right, we're gonna I'm gonnawrite this off as a legal expense,
like you can't do that. That'snot a felony. And remember,
to get to the point where it'sa felony, you have to prove that
he did this so he could thendo another crime, of which that crime
has not been shown anywhere during thisJonathan Turley, I mean, in my

(01:35:10):
view, the judges committed layers ofreversible error. But one of the most
important errors is that he's allowed thisjury to hear over and over again about
election violations. Donald Trump did notcommit an election violation. There's no such
violation in this case connected to hispayments to Cohen. But my assumption is

(01:35:31):
that the jury thinks that there wereYeah, there was no election violations.
There wasn't any. Remember, thishas nothing to do with twenty twenty.
This is all to do with twentysixty. So take twenty twenty out of
your mind. He like, whatabout that doesn't matter. What was the
election violation? There was none, zero, zilts, nada. Right,

(01:35:56):
let's just say, for the sakeof argument, you believe in your mind
that the Russians helped Trump win. That had nothing to do with Stormy Daniels.
Oh yeah, it had nothing todo with Stormy Daniels. So let's
stop pretending for a moment, ifyou will. Okay, okay, what

(01:36:21):
happens after God, we'll be lookingfor any sign that the defense is prepared
to put on any kind of anaffirmative case. The judge has so limited
the scope of what a defense electionlaw expert could could testify to. I'm
not sure it's going to be worthit for the defense. They have told
the prosecutors there are three other potentialwitnesses, including Trump himself, but we

(01:36:44):
won't know until the prosecution rests whatthe defense is going to do. And
again, this has nothing to dowith election fraud. He didn't commit.
There wasn't any election interference with noneof that stuff or Russians. Again,
that's nothing to with Stormy Daniels. If you believe that the Russians stole the
election for Trump, Okay, that'swhat you believe that they did that,

(01:37:11):
What does it have to do withstore Me Daniels. Nothing. So well,
I can sit there and say totallyunderstand mar A Lago, not so
much the because at this point intime, it doesn't look like it's gonna
get off the ground, and manypeople are looking at Jack Smith, who
is running everything, saying, dude, you just go after the the obstruction.

(01:37:33):
That's what you need to go after. Don't go after the documents.
Kids, You're never gonna get thedocument. At this point, you can't
even find a jury. It's gonnabe able to pass Mustard, right,
So, and then who knows what'sgonna happen with the other cases in Atlanta
and here you know, this isa joke. These are state cases comparatively
to DC and Marlolagu, which arethe federal cases. And if he was

(01:37:57):
to win, well, and thatchanges everything because those federal cases go away
like that if they're still out there. But this, if we're honest with
ourselves, which we can't be anymorebecause we're not allowed to be because it
makes people feel uncomfortable. This ispretty stupid and I've still yet to see
where again, did he commit thefederal Well, it was that No,

(01:38:19):
no, no, it's a campaignviolation. Okay, but if the federal
and this is remember, this isa state trying a federal crime of which
there is no federal crime. Sohow you're getting to that point is beyond
me. Oh, I know politicsthree two, three, five, three,
eight, twenty four, twenty three, atch had menton show. It's

(01:38:40):
your Twitter, your Instagram? Didhe apologize? Did he do enough?
He did not, cause he's ascumbag and we know that if you didn't
see did he beating his then girlfriendto a pulp on camera? It's so
difficult to reflect on the darkest timesand life. Sometimes you got to do
that. I was the I mean, I hit rock bottom, But I

(01:39:04):
make no excuses. My behavior onthat video is inexcusable. I take full
responsibility for my ashes in that video. Disgusted. I was disgusted then when
I did it, I'm disgusting.Now, Yeah, you're a scumbag at
pos We all recognize that. Andthis is on the heels of them coming

(01:39:25):
and raiding your house. And soif you haven't seen the video, don't
watch it. It was it wasbrutal. He beat her to a pulp.
He kicked her at one time inthe head when she was on the
ground, threw a vase at herto come out and apologize. He's got
a lot of problems, but therewill be no charges from this because past

(01:39:45):
the statute of limitation. Now,maybe there's a coronavirus statute of limitation you
can go after, but it isLA so it is California, so the
chances are that won't happen. Whata scumbag three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twentythree act had been? It shows

Wrap it up straight Aheadcha Benson ShowRunning with Scissors sounds great? Can
hear to this? So probably can'tdo my Islamic bit. Well, obviously

(01:41:16):
I'm not going to be telling thesame jokes about Mohammed. I'd feel very
comfortable telling about Jesus Christ. Andthat's because, fun fact, I'm not
a fack an idiot. So ifyou're a Christian and you're sat there,
think about that's not fair. Theymake jokes about Christians all day long,
but he won't make the same sortof jokes about Muslims. Well, then
maybe as a Christian, you shouldthink about blowing something up. Hey,

(01:41:41):
no one's scared of you. Whatare the Christians going to do? Forgive
me? I love it. JimmyCarr right there and no special and he's
absolutely right. I told you, guys a couple of weeks ago, I
watched a episode of Family Guy.They went back and they tried to undo
religions. They tried to undo Christianityand Judaism. They never tried to undo

(01:42:05):
Islam. And it is funny thathe says that, because I think that's
kind of spot on. Don't youthink a little bit you should try blowing
something up? Big story of theday obviously, helicopter going down carrying the
foreign minister as well as the presidentof Iran, two guys that are just

(01:42:30):
solid individuals. Who are you know, Holocaust deniers hate the Jews. By
the way, the guy that diedwas the president or easy He's the guy
that they call the Butcher of Tehran. So it's so funny that we like,
we attack Trump for all the things. This guy's nickname is the Butcher,
and they're like, that's a goodname for him, not because he

(01:42:51):
was an actual butcher, but becauseof what he did in the eighties all
the way through until cracking down onany kind of thing like women having freedom,
or being able to go outside withoutsomebody who's related to him as a
male or I don't know, notwearing the beekeeper outfit. You had two

(01:43:14):
of the people who were most responsiblefor the trouble that Iran has been causing
in the region. As we know, key supporters of the Houthis, key
supporters of Hamas, and key supportersof Hesbolah, and so all of the
region's woes and all of the instabilityare at least directed in some way influenced
by two of the people that wereon that helicopter. Yep, Now,

(01:43:36):
how did it happen? That's thebig How did it happen? Out?
Did these guys good? Was itthe Massa? Did they take him down?
Nah? It's good old fashioned fogand bad piloting. We know that
there was a lot of fog inthe area. We know that they had
dignitaries, very important people, whichoftentimes puts an extra at least mental burden
on the pilots to make sure thatthey get to get to the destination.

(01:43:58):
And when you're flying out the mountainsand you have very low visibility, there's
a natural tendency for helicopter pilots tobegin to sort of descend and try to
get lower and try to get underneatheither the fog or the cloud layer.
And they know that they can setthe aircraft down if they need to,
but oftentimes it leads to tragedy. And that's the Chad here. And remember
the Kobe thing, you know,I mean they flew in fog and bad

(01:44:21):
weather and the guy that was flyingthe helicopter he was using like an iPad.
He's on ways gone. I don'tknow. This is the same thing
here. They were coming back fromIserbaijan because they had done some joint thing
where they were going to build adam together, and damned if they didn't
crash. Chad, that's not verynice. Now, he is not a
good person. And the instability thatyou find over there throughout that region,

(01:44:46):
this guy was a big fan ofa lot of the people that are causing
hell over there, and the numberone exporter of terrorism on the planet is
Iran. Point that out to everybodythat's and this guy for all the people
have scream all the stuff and they'rejust all the liberals and the love and
the hugs and the cuddles. Andthis dude's nickname was the Butcher of Tehran.

(01:45:11):
Talked about it earlier, who thisguy was and what he was about.
Now they are going to move forward, the second in command, it's
going to take over and they vowwithin like forty five to fifty days they'll
have new elections to get Butcher Parttwo. Who knows, because you never
know what the guy behind the guyis. You might think, oh,
this person's going to be better, and they're like, this guy's worse,

(01:45:33):
way worse. I say guy, because we know it's not gonna be a
woman. What hey. Friday startedout crazying the world of golf. According
to the police report, champion golferScotti Scheffler was behind the wheel being directed
by a police officer around an unrelatedfatal accident scene when he refused to comply
and accelerated forward, dragging the officerto the ground. Scheffler later calling his

(01:45:57):
arrest a big misunderstanding and that henever intended to disregard any of the officer's
instructions. Lovill's mayor says there isno body camera footage from the police officers,
but he says video of the incidentcould be released this week. No
video, but video. I'm notquite how well because there's so much video
that's out there. So I guesswe're going to find this out. They're

(01:46:18):
going to drop the charges. Weknow that you're not going to go after
Scotty Scheffler for something that was obviouslya misunderstanding. And mind the way,
what I found to be very interestingis Friday, obviously charged up all this
stuff going on, played pretty damngood golf considering where he was earlier in
the day, And kudos to everybodywho got the mugshot t shirts before he

(01:46:40):
even got back to Valhalla, whichis where they played it. That was
hilarious and everybody's screaming free. Scottystruggled on Saturday, even said all the
adrenaline and all that stuff. Itkind of and then yesterday was back to
his old self. But that didmatter because the winner, little Xander Schoffley,
don't win at all. What victoryat Valhalla. Victory at Valhalla,

(01:47:08):
at last, at last, that'sright, because dude struggled for a very
long time to get over the humpand win the big one. Now he
had won a gold medal, whichis awesome because there's only one of those
every four years, and with theOlympic sports, it may be here this
year, but in four years itmay not be here. Oh my gosh,
this is not what I want fora winning putt. Fortunately it was

(01:47:30):
uphill, it was, you know, six feetish. I ended up playing
it straight. It did go left, caught the left side. Just a
huge just so much relief, sireof relief, to say the least,
because he's one of those guys Ialways talking about that guy's great, but
he can't win the big one, can't win a major. Well, now
he has won a major, whichbrings us. And then I go and
spoil it all like saying something stupid. It will takes stupid pills this morning.

(01:47:53):
It's the honest ones you want towatch out for because you can never
predict they're going to do something incrediblystupid. Now you're the fact stupid one
with the big mouth is stupid.Little last time. You should never underestimate
the predictability of stupidity. Now it'stime fall stupid information. All right,

(01:48:18):
here's some stupid information. The firstperson to win the PGA Championship Jim Barnes
October nineteen sixteen at the Siwanoi CountryClub in New York. Jim Barnes made
a four foot put, took homefive hundred dollars and a diamond studded gold
medallion donated by Rodman Wannamaker. Bythe way, when you win the trophy

(01:48:40):
now it's called the Wannamaker. Whatdid Xander win yesterday? Five hundred was
good back then because the average salaryin America nineteen sixteen about six hundred and
eighty seven dollars. Average salary inAmerica today probably right around sixty to seventy,
depending on where you live. Yesterday, Xander took home three point three
million dollars. In fact, Riceinto Shambo came in second, he got

(01:49:00):
two million. Victor Howlin came inthird. He got one point two five
eight million. Yeah, things haveimproved in the world of golf. Three
two, three, five, threeeight twenty four to twenty three at Chad
Benson show should Twitter, your Instagram. You guys have it blessed Monday.
