(00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. Thisis Chad Benson, Biden v. Trump,
the economy. Who's better for it? Well, we can sit here
and argue amongst ourselves, what aboutthis he only likes the rich and blah
blah blah blah blah. Or wecan look at the numbers, which the

(00:30):
Wall Street Journal did, which Ithink is a great way to break things
down. Facts over feelings. Let'stake a look at the numbers. But
Chad, it's more than just theeconomy. No, it is the economy.
Stupid. We consider here to talkabout all the other things, and
I see it MSNBC, the CNNsof the world and all of the campaigning.
It's about democracy. It's about democracy. It's this election is about because

(00:56):
if Trump wins, it's over. You lose everything, it's taking everything away.
All black people are going back intochange. Remember Biden talking, Oh
yeah, he said that those arenot keeping score and you're right to Vote's
gone. He installs himself as king, ruler, dictator, and it's over.
It's over, it's done, it'sdusted. Which is silly. This

(01:18):
election. You can try to makeit whatever you want if you're Biden.
The reality is simply this Axelrod says, here, it ain't about democracy.
They're talking around the dinner table. You're the average person. Biden and the
Democrats are really emphasizing the threat thatthey say Donald Trump poses to democracy.

(01:38):
Do you think it's effective? Youknow this. I'm the son of a
Jewish refugee from Eastern Europe. Istill love this democracy. But I've also
said, if you are talking aboutdemocracy over the dinner table, it's probably
because you don't have to worry aboutthe cost of the food on your dinner
table. I would think the messagingshould address that. I think the people
who are hanging out here, thepeople who need to be reached and motivated,

(02:01):
are more motivated by those kinds ofissues than they probably are by the
issue of democracy. That's right, democracy, period, case closed, end
of story for everybody. No,it's not, it's not. They want
to make it that Trump yesterday onthe hill right back there, everybody cheering

(02:25):
him on, and you can go, I mean, it's just fine whatever.
January sixth, and it's democracy stealingeverything. It's food on the table,
it's the expense of life, it'sall of those things. That is
going to be the biggest driver outsideof a black Swan event, somebody passes
away, a massive terror attack.Porous immigration points out that hey, look

(02:52):
these people got here and now there'sa massive terror attack, and people like,
ah, but Trump's already well aheadon that. So they push democracy
and age wise, it shows thatthe older generation which votes is leaning towards
for the first time in a longtime, towards Biden, and they're worried
it's somewhat of democracy. The youngergenerations like, we need to eat,

(03:14):
but aren't we better off? Thepublic believes that the former president Trump was
better for the economy than the currentpresident. Well, you know, I
think President Biden understands that people arefeeling pain when they say this. They
are concerned. They've seen the levelof prices rise quite a lot, I
mean, over twenty percent over thelast three years or so. They can

(03:38):
remember when the price of a gallonof milk or a loaf of bread was
thirty percent lower than it is now. Think about that, Nannie Yellen being
honest there right, Like you couldtry to couch it as democracy, and
you can get it is still aboutthe economy, the one thing we all

(03:59):
participate in, and you me,everybody all Americans, both those who are
well off and those who are nearat the bottom of the income distribution are
better off. Now their wages haverisen more than prices. Is that true?
No, it's not. None ofthat is true. Wages have not
risen more than prices. That's I'mcalling up Pinocchio on you, as did

(04:25):
the Washington Post. So how havethey done? Trump v. Biden?
We'll look at the Dow. We'llalso look at net worth a lot of
different things. You know, ittickled the forty thousand the Dow. But
as I've said, and Biden pointedout when Trump was bragging about the stock

(04:48):
market, stock market is not theeconomy. No, it's not, and
we say that all the time here. It's not. But kind of some
of the metrics we have, shallwe Okay, let's take a look percentage
of the DOO when you go andlook at it from the time that both

(05:11):
of them were elected through you know, the periods that they're at currently right
now. From election day, performanceof both presidents been pretty strong if measured
from election day. For example, after election day in twenty sixteen, stocks
rallied on expectations Republican president Congress woulddo what cut taxes and regulations, and

(05:35):
it was good. It was good, good news also with the COVID vaccines,
And so the Dow was up fortyfive percent since or forty three percent
since Biden defeated Trump in twenty twenty. At the same point in their presidency
it was thirty four percent. SoTrump Biden's beaten him there. But Trump

(05:57):
was also dealing with COVID, whichsaw a massive jump. And and when
Trump finished his term it was upseventy percent. Oh again, numbers socks
on only one part of the householdwealth, says Wall Street Journal. Their
ownership is mostly concentrated amongst the wealth. The better measurement of financial health is
net worth. It's pretty much apush. Networth rose nineteen percent through Biden's

(06:24):
first three years in office, notmuch less than Trump's twenty three percent during
his first three years. But thenwe get to the thing that matters when
you look at all this because ofinflation. So when you look at net
worth, then you adjust for inflation, less than one percent for the average

(06:47):
person under Biden, the same timefor Trump, people's net worth adjusted for
inflation. We look back, Trumpwas up sixteen percent, and people feel
that that's not me making it up. That's the reality of what people are
feeling. It is the economy stupid. And there are other things out there.

(07:13):
Obviously we talk about and immigration isa big deal one percent. What's
going on globally is a big deal. Abortion is a big deal for some.
And yesterday, of course, theyou know Supreme Court said, hey,
those pills, Yeah, they're fine. People who brought the lawsuit are

(07:35):
not doctors. They're advocates and anactivists. They're not doctor. There was
no medical science behind anything they weresaying, which I know freaks a lot
of people out on the left becausethey were mean and evil. This this
rogue Supreme Court. So abortion, border economy, speaking of the order.

(08:00):
Within the past few days, wehad a border patrol agent tell us point
blank on the ground that migrants crossinginto the San Diego sector right now are
not being properly vetted. And nowwe're concerning new report from the Homeland Security
Inspector General RICE that vetting needs seriousimprovements or else it will continue to fail.
That report, writing in part,DHS will remain at risk of admitting

(08:22):
dangerous persons into the country or enablingasylum seekers who may pose significant threats to
public safety and national security. That'snot a chakra evolution there, Fox.
But here's the thing that's a hardthing to get any kind of understanding of

(08:43):
who's here. Because systems are behindis one thing. We don't have enough
stuff on the ground and the resourcesthat need in certain other areas. Also,
other nations who may not like theWest and American in particular, may

(09:05):
not participate in giving us all theinformation when it comes to some of the
people. So that's a hard thingfor us to overcome. And they're coming
here in droves from all over now. Every day we are seeing small,
medium, large groups of migrants illegallycross right here. And what they are
doing is just walking around the endof this wall right here. They're doing

(09:30):
it easily with little to no deterrence. This week, we have seen migrants
coming from Yemen, Nepal, China, Iran, and Mauritania. Yesterday morning,
before sunrise, there was a groupof about sixty single men, adult
males. I spoke to one Chinesemigrant. He didn't want his face on
camera because he says he fears theCCP and because he's the first of his

(09:50):
family to enter the US. ThatChinese migrant told us it cost him fifteen
thousand dollars to be illegally smuggled intothe United States. How many days is
it to take you to get hereabout Moza and Tidy? Twenty days?
Yeah? Yeah? Yeah? Didyou take an airplane? What was your
path? London on the Mexico city, uh, Tijuana on the here?

(10:18):
Yeah? Do you think we knowanything about that guy? I'm gonna go
with a hard no. So Trump'sgot issues, there is no doubt about
that. And they're gonna throw democracyand the felonies and all that stuff out
there on him. And we haven'tgot to the other side of, you

(10:39):
know, these cases, because there'sstill stuff pending in the Supreme Court and
whatnot. And I think a lotof people, like I've said, when
it comes to the Trump cases, some cases are way more politically damaging than
this one. If he got convictedin say mar A Lago or the DC

(11:01):
case. This, I think peopleunderstood is very very, very political and
stupid, and nobody's buying it.On the other side of it, though,
when you look at the numbers,it's Trump's personality because the economy and
even close who people support when itcomes to immigration and aiming close to who

(11:24):
people support, but they're tied threetwo, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three. Atchd Benson shows your Twitter, tweetedts

you're listening to the Chad Benson Show. Donald Trump had a meeting with all

(13:13):
he called a meeting with all theHouse Republicans on Capitol Hill. It was
his first visit to the Hill sinceJanuary sixth. They always returned to the
scene of the crime. Some Republicanswho are in the room described the meeting
as a gripe filled airing of legaland personal grievances. There were no cameras
in the room. Reportedly, Trumpcovered a lot of ground. One of
the things he's upset about is TaylorSwift supporting Joe Biden. He said,

(13:37):
why would she endorse this dope? And they were like, I don't know,
why did we endorse this dope? It's Trump? God, look at
that the humor right there. JimmyKimmel, he loves Trump. Let me
ask you a question. Let's sayTrump goes away quickly. What happens to
late night shows? What do theyhave to talk about? Fallon? He's
all over the place. He hammersboth sides, kindd me, Carson ask

(14:00):
and and also sticks to a lotof other things. What does Colbert and
Kimmel do when they're punching bag?Isn't there anymore curious? Hey, it's
Friday, kids, you know whatthat means. I want a Sacred Heart
of Jesus flag because I have tolook across the lagoon at the Pride flag
for the next month. I alsohope that most Americans can understand the difference
between a flag that symbolizes uh,you know, glove and acceptance. I'm

(14:28):
not a hundred dollars walking home.I know how I'll saying. Burger's burning
a hole. I'm through my buggetin and do my skin. I'm running
morning. I'll be bron It's fine, free, I'm not my motor running

(14:48):
again. It's fine. It iswhat power are we going to exercise in
order to rein in a fundamentally unaccountableand rogue court and a hunanimous opinion.
How often do you hear that fromthe Spring court? It is not illegal

(15:11):
to teach striving. It's fine.Five freak, I'm my motor running again.
It's fine from time. The bestthing that could possibly happen to Donald
Trump is if hunder Biden gets quickter Biden has just been found guilty.

(15:33):
You're running against me, and uphere the two people that are going to
run this country for the next fouryears. Of the two of us,
only one has been convicted of aFelony'll be hurting my hand guyon week in
a thirty slowly dunity free year.Every single time you see the NBA logo,

(16:03):
that is a silhouette of Jerry West. How fights the aldis means?
Currently an unknown number of disruptive activiststaking hold here of at least the first
floor of the student services building atcal State LA. Would there have been
a warning to those civilians for themto get out on time? Of course,
we cannot anticipate Israel to be warningahead of the raid to extract or

(16:26):
to save hostages. That would defeatthe purpose. For Caitlin Clark, there
was concern about her immense fan base, the idiocy off team USA women's basketball.
How dare you make this decision? It's stupid, you know loss see
knows so long as nine. Bythe way, a lot of your architects
lately, do you notice that?Lot of you? Every time Trump is

(16:51):
you can hate him all you want, but if you're honest with yourself,
funniest president we've ever had, andit does feel like he's doing stand up
sometimes it does. Oh my god, you guys just newly married. Fantastic.
It's like he's doing crowd work. You guys like sharks, Yeah,
yeah, three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,

(17:12):
twenty three at Chad Benson Show,is your Twitter? Tweet? At his
text program? A lot of stuffto get to what took place on the
train in New York the other dayWhy isn't this a bigger story? If
it was a couple guys wearing redhats, it would be all over the
place. We're talking a bit aboutthat, a lot of other stuff.
Straight ahead, Chad Benson show, such Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts,

(17:56):
Independent life. This is chat thensaid, after eight months of this war,
more than thirty seven thousand Palestinians havebeen killed, probably more more than
eighty thousand injured. Was it anecessary sacrifice for the people of Gaza?
You seem that you can't start fromthe beginning, Let's start from Beijon.

(18:19):
But one, why to talk aboutthe page of the seventh of October?
What about this occupation? Talking aboutwhat came after the seventh Well, the
seventh of October it was a reactionagainst the occupation. What cames after that
it shows the real face of Israel. It shows how Israel is occupying the
Palestinan lands, demolishing the situation ofthe Palestinians, killing the civilians. It's

(18:44):
not the first time they are killingthe civilians. I mean, Hamas is
an organization. Does it regret whatit did on the seventh of October?
Given what happened afterwards? We areliving with this for the last seventy five
years as Palestinians lies. It's juststraight out liar. Occupation hasn't happened since
two thousand and five. They've beenoffered what eleven times two states. Hamas

(19:08):
and the powers that be want nopart of any of this stuff. That
is a spokeshole for Hamas, andit is no matter what you say,
they come up with some new thing. You can give them everything they want
and it's still not enough. We'vetalked about that. This right here,

(19:33):
though, may take the cake. When asked about the hostages, he doesn't
know where the rest of them are, doesn't know how they're doing. But
when asked specifically about the four thatwere rescued, no, CNN spoke to
one of the doctors who treated thefour Israelis who were freed on Saturday,

(19:56):
and he said that they saw, first of all, CNN sharp on you.
We're going to get back to thisin a second. They were not
freed. Freed is something that hey, you know what, We're going to
free these people, right, We'regoing to free these hostages. They were
rescued. You lying liars, Stoptrying to make it like this was something

(20:18):
that Hamas came up with and allof these people were killed. Because the
doctor was killed and the journalist waskilled. You were harboring terrorists and you
were participating in the captivity. Andthey were not freed, they were not
let go, they were rescued. Now, CNN spoke to one of the
doctors who treated the four Israelis whowere freed on Saturday, and he said

(20:45):
that they suffered mental and physical abuse. And what do you say to that,
Well, he's an Israeli has tosay what the Israeli authorities are asking
him to say. If you convertthe images of before and after releasing,
you will find that they were betterthan before. I believe if they have

(21:06):
mental problem, this is because ofwhat is I'll have done in Gaza.
Wow. The balls, Oh,look at them, it was like they
were a vacation for seven months. They look freaking great. I know they
were raped and beaten, but theylook amazing. And people here in America

(21:30):
buy it. People here in Americago oh yeah, yeah. The occupation,
all of that stuff, it's allreal. Do you see what's going
on in our country? The otherday on a train in New York,
they were asking for Zionists. Areyou on this train? By the way,

(21:53):
I like that he goes repeat afterme, and then they go repeat
after me. It reminds me ofthis. I state your name. Yeah.
Yeah, They're not very good atthis. Rasor Hamlen, you're a
scientist, raiser, heads of yourscientist, just as your test to get

(22:18):
out. Okay, no Zionists weregood? Who? No Zionists? Wow?
Sharing no zion Like, what wouldhave happened? Would you have would
you have killed them? Would youhave beaten them? What would you have
done if there was quote unquote aZionist a Jew by the way, anybody

(22:41):
who supports Israel, you're officially aZionist. And if you're Jewish, you're
a Zionist. It doesn't matter. It's going on in our country wearing their
their you know they got the vason. You can't see their face.
They're all right, are you blank? And me? Like I said earlier,

(23:02):
it's two people with a red hatlose their mind. Remember what a
big story, as Dave Chappelle putit, Uh, Juicy Smoole was Jesse
Smuller. Remember that big story?Right? Two guys wearing red hats beat
him up and ended up being allfake and we realize that now, but

(23:23):
all the media everywhere, Oh mygod, it was. It became front
page story, and then it quietlywent away when everybody found out it was
bs. You've got people filming.Hey, we'd like to kill all the
Jews. October seventh, every dayin front of Memorial for the kids,
and people were slaughtered at the musicfestival. What the hell? These protesters

(23:45):
massed outside the exhibit, They setoff smoke bombs, they carried banners that
said long live October seventh, Theycarried the flags of Hamas and Hezbollah,
and there was several different incidents thatpolice believer related. You think Eric Gaturski
their ABC News vile. That iswhy is it on the front page of

(24:07):
everything. Remember Biden, he ranto be president because of Charlottesville. Narry
a word, narry a word fromhim on any of this stuff. Nothing
out in front of the White Housestatues protest chanting death to America, death

(24:32):
to Israel. Basically killed Jews. We're good with it. Nothing. It
used to be that you were notallowed to cover your face during protest,
and that was obviously more complex duringthe pandemic. But police wanted to be
able to identify people who might becausing trouble, and so there's a move
afoot now to try and reinstate thatprohibition on mask wearing during protests. In

(24:53):
fact, Governor Cathy Hochel said she'sgoing to be talking to the legislature about
this idea around masks should But doesit matter, because none of it matters
if you're not going to arrest andprosecute any of this stuff. DC already
has no mask thing. Nobody wasarrested, nobody's prosecuted. People are terrified

(25:19):
because you've got people on planes going. Is there any on trains going?
Is there any Zionists here? Raiseyour hand? So could you? First
of all, I would just think, what did you expect somebody to do?

(25:40):
Hey, we're gonna crush you andkill you and beat you. So
if you're here, raise your handso we know where you are. You
have dumbasses. The police are treatingthis as less a matter of free speech,
and they say it's tipped over intothreatening speech. Whether that threat is
explicit or implicit, police believe itdoes cross a line, and they've already

(26:03):
had at least one passenger who wason that subway car at the time come
forward to say he or she feltthreatened. The police are asking other writers
who may have similarly felt threatened tocome forward. And what's going to end
up happening here? And I'm tellingyou guys this right now, what's going
to end up happening is it's goingto go too far and these Antifa,

(26:27):
Western hating hesbalah Hamas loving hate theJew people are going to get their come
up. It's because somebody's going tosay I've had enough. Somebody's going to
say we're done. And then it'sgoing to tip to her. You've allowed
it to grow out of control. And I'm a big believer in free speech,

(26:47):
but what do I say you startthreatening death and violence, Well,
you've crossed that line. And thefact that our president who ran according to
him, on the fact that hesaw Charlottesville and the anti Semitism and the
blah bl nothing from him. Nariaword three, two, three, five,

(27:10):
three, eight, twenty four totwenty three at Chad Benson's show,
it's your Twitter, your Instagram, all of the other stuff. We can't
be serious all the time, right, No, Caitlin Clark time what she
was asked a question about racism sexism, all this kind of stuff she being
used. People use your name forracism, misogyny, whatever. What is

(27:33):
your response to best specific Yeah,I think it's disappointing. I think,
you know, everybody in our world, you know, deserves them the same
amount of respect. The women onour league deserve the same amount of respect.
So people should not be using myname for first of those agendas.
Who's using Caitlin Clark for misogyny andracism out of curiosity? I mean,
and the white thing is a realthing, But I don't think it's a

(27:55):
racism. I think I think peoplewant to make it that, but to
say she's racist or to further theiragendas insane. By the way, her
jersey is outsold, I think everyjersey combined since like forever in the WNBA,
and uh, they're having to moveher games in other cities to bigger
arenas. And when she plays, ratings way up when somebody else is playing,

(28:21):
nobody cares three two, three, five, eight, twenty four to

and the featured group is Rory, number two player in the world, Xander
number three player in the world, and Scotti Scheffler is the number one player
in the world. That's just awesome. Pioneers, It's gorgeous. I love
it, baby, I love it. You know, we talk a lot

(30:53):
of UFOs on the show because Ithink they're out there. Donald Trump is
always there was the one thing Iloved about Trump, Like I loved about
it. He's like, let's getto the bottom of JFK, the assassination.
Let's get let's get this stuff released, right. I want to know
about the aliens if there is any, If there is any, and he's

(31:14):
one guy you can't tell, Likeeven if you know, you're like,
we can't tell him. We can'ttell President Trump because he's going to tell
the world. I'm not saying, but I'm saying. He was asked about
the UFOs. I want to talkto you by aliens. UFOs UAPs the
disclosure we've seen in Congress recently,it's confusing and upsetting a lot of Americans.
Because something's going there's something happening. There are unidentified aerial phenomena in this

(31:38):
guy. We don't know what theyare, do you. I've met with
pilots, perfect people, not conspiratorial, they're not crazy, and they tell
me stories that they've seen things thatyou wouldn't believe. Sir, there was
something there that was round in formand going like four times faster than my
superjet fighter plane. That's why Ilove him. There with Jake paul I

(32:02):
having a conversation about aliens. Nowwhat you're going to notice throughout this It
gets to a different kind of alientowards the end. So we're talking about
UAPs, unidentified flying objects whatever youwant to call them, little green men,
the grays, whatever it is we'restarting there continues there. Am I
a believer? No? I probablyI can't say I am. But I

(32:24):
have met with people that are serious, people that say there's some really strange
things that they see flying around outthere. People that are very smart and
very solid have said they believe thereis something out there, and you know,
it makes sense that there could be. I've never been convinced, even

(32:44):
despite that, you know, justfor some reason, it's not my thing,
not your thing, but you're notsaying or not. So you got
an open mind. And I likethat. A lot of people don't have
an open mind, and I thinkthat's a fear thing right. They're afraid
what would happen. You've got aHarvard faster that's come out and said and
finally something that came out of anIvy League school that has nothing to do

(33:04):
with hating the Jews, said thathe believes not only are there aliens,
they're here. They've been here forquite a long time. Governments know about
him. There's several people over thelast several months that have come out and
you're seeing people more and more thathave worked inside the gun of it.
And there's a Pentagon official high upwho said, oh, yeah, there's
totally aliens. What a lot ofvery good solid people believe it's true.

(33:27):
And you and know there are illegalaliens out there, but those are the
ones that come through at the border. We have plenty of that. Those
are the ones. I know. When you say aliens, I say are
they illegal? Aliens? These areThese might be illegal, but we don't
want to test them because if theycan go four times faster, we're not
going to test them. That istypical Trump and the brilliance of Trump.

(33:50):
For all the flaws, and there'splenty of them. Everybody's got a flaw
or two, or five or tenfor all of the stuff, listen to
them. Cognitabilities stand. I mean, we could see here and talk all
day about you know, listening tothe left try to oh Trump has lost
that, he slipped these losses thatyou come on stop having an actual conversation
is great, But to go andto pivot from little green men to I

(34:15):
worry about illegal aliens. Illegal aliens, those are the ones that come through
at the border. We have plentyof that. And these are not people
that make America great again. Theseare people that have a lot of issues.
We're going to have a lot ofissues as long as they hear,
and we're going to get him out. We have to get him out,
have to get him out. Conversations, sitting down talking doing what he does,

(34:37):
doing what he does, Chad doingwhat he does. And it's interesting
because yesterday, you know, Trumpobviously talked a little bit about it.
He's out there, he's in DC'sreturned to the you know, we heard
the joke early returned to the sceneof the crime and blah blah blah blah.
And they were, you know, having supposed to have dueling press conferences.

(34:59):
That's what they were supposed to have. It's not like any of them
really had any kind of press conferences. But Trump has a ton comparatively,
so did Obama, so did Bush. CNN yesterday was honest about something when
it comes to the current president. He's been snippy recently about being asked multiple
questions in these press conferences, whichwe should just be clear and were both

(35:22):
former White House correspondents. These arevery limited. They're called two and two's,
and the reporters tend to there's atradition of asking more than the questions.
It's just pretty usual because there arenot that many questions to ask and
follows as well. That's right, and this president has, I mean,
he falls far below his predecessors whenit comes to interviews and when it comes

(35:45):
to press conferences. We just needto be clear about that. They have
a lot of questions to ask him, and these reporters do not have many
opportunities. They've all dragged themselves toItaly for this G seven summit to do
one thing their jobs, ask thesequestions, and there was no conference.
Two questions and that was it,and then he shuffled off. They're hiding
him as long as they can.Three two, three, five, three

This is the Chad Benson Show,Independent Thoughts, Independent Life, This is

(36:45):
Chad Benson. Controversy, controversy. What did Donald Trump say behind closed doors?
It's all kinds of controversies. Hehate Milliwauker, which is Algonquin.
I thought it was Milwaukee. Apparentlyhe hates it, and of course that
becomes major news. Behind closed doors, Trump reportedly attacking the city of Milwaukee,

(37:08):
where Republicans are holding their convention nextmonth. Punchbowl News reporting Trump told
lawmakers Milwaukee, where we are havingour convention, is a horrible city.
When word got out, house Republicansrushing to offer explanations, some saying Trump
was specifically talking about crime in Milwaukee, while others claimed he was actually talking
about election integrity. Trump later insistedhe was talking about boll Was he was

(37:32):
he, Now, do I thinkthat Milwaukee is a horrible city. I've
been there. It's okay, right, it's no Indy, I'll tell you
no. I like Milwaukee. It'snice. I do. I was talking
to a buddy of mine. Iplayed pickball with Kurt, good guy.
So he just got back from Iowa. And you know, the Midwest,
I think we forget. It's justit's assaulted the earth. People just good

(37:54):
people. It's a great place. Is Milwaukee. Uh, you know every
place. I'm just tell you thisright now, and I'm gonna be honest
here, so this might make someof you out there uncomfortable. Every place
has both their goods and they're bad. They do. We always talk about
Chicago it's the most violent. No, it's not. Actually, it's one
of the safest cities on the planet. But there are areas inside of Chicago

(38:16):
that are war zones. But avast majority of it's fine. Every place
has their good and bad. Iunderstand why they're doing it. It's political.
Could Trump have said it's a crappleit is. It's possible he said
that. Is it also true that, you know he said some things that
were misinterpreted. I don't know ifyou guys are aware of this, but

(38:37):
that has happened in the past. But it's major news because that's what happens
when Trump speaks, the world listensand criticizes. Milwaukee is an excellent city.
It's a wonderful city. It's asplendid city. It's a city that
the Republican National Committee, Donald Trump'sfellow counterparts, and the Republican Party chose
as the host city for the RepublicanNational Convention this year. I do wonder

(39:00):
if a comment like that coming fromTrump could actually cost him the state in
November. In Wisconsin, where purplestate statewide elections are decided on a razor
thin margin. And so for theformer president to call Milwaukee a horrible place,
that's insulting the home to roughly fiftythousand people who vote Republican. So
to call their home horrible, Ithink is just bizarre. It's just bizarre.

(39:22):
Eh. The last time I wasthere was during the Trump's first convention,
so it's got going on almost eightyears and we were there in the
summer. It was beautiful, itwas I'm at the time, my producer,
I'm like, drive me by whereJeffrey Dahmer was that was my exciting

(39:43):
part of Bill wall milliwa k oh, my lord? Did he say it?
Did he not? Who cares?Right, cause if you think that
Trump's an evil, bad guy,you believe he said it. If you
think Trump's been misquoted at gazillion times, you're going to be in that direct
where you think it's a bunch ofboloney. Again, it's just interesting.

(40:04):
He says one thing, and it'slike all over the news MSNBC, all
day today. Ah, he hatesMilwaukee, Okay, yesterday, big ruling
when it came to abortion. Theruling keeps Mith of Priston available by mail
in most states where abortion is legal. In other words, status quo,
which Vice President Harris says is notreason to celebrate. We are looking at

(40:27):
the fact that two thirds of womenof reproductive age in America live in a
state with a Trump abortion band. It's been two years since the Supreme Court
overturned Roby Wade in Congress. Theissue has expanded to include access to contraception
and IVF. Interesting because I heardthat they were an evil, crazy Supreme

(40:47):
Court that was rogue, and thatall it takes is a phone call for
Donald Trump to have his way.Apparently that wasn't it was unanimous decision.
By the way, those arguments, even though they were outlandish, were successful
in the lower courts, in thedistrict court and then in the Fifth Circuit,
which did rule that these plaintiffs hadstanding. And so I think there

(41:10):
was an enormous relief on the partof both the FDA, individuals who might
need access to mif apristone, andalso the pharmaceutical industry. Written lars,
Yeah, so it's it's not goingwhere it's staying. So but what about
the thing? Right like their roguecourt they said, you guys might be

(41:32):
doctors, but the reality is you'recoming at this as activists. This isn't
you know. So it's again rogueevil Court nine zero. Now the evil
Court has other cases out there.Apparently it's taking quite a long time to
get through these because there's trust issuesbecause of the League of Dobbs who talked
about that the other day. Butthere are big cases still left. Let's

(41:57):
go through some of those cases.More than twenty four care is still yet
to be decided by the end ofthe month, so a lot on the
line, including another major abortion case. That case deals with the question of
whether women in emergency situations need tobe able to have access to abortion in
hospitals funded by the federal government. That could apply nationwide, even in places
where abortion is banned. So I'llbreak these things down as simple as I

(42:22):
possibly can. You're a woman, something is happening, your life is threatened.
You go to a hospital, andyou need to have a situation taken
care of an abortion, otherwise yourun the risk of dying. That's where

(42:43):
this one comes in. The doctorshave to do what do people know?
Yeah, that might be fine atthis hospital. This is a federally funded
hospital. That's the case that's outthere for that continue or waiting for two
gun cases, including a case onwhether the ban for guns for domestic abusers
can stand. Also the ban onbump stocks, the device used in the

(43:05):
deadliest mass shooting in American history, whether that can pass musters. That's interesting
because that case on the domestic abuseside is very interesting because should you use
a constitutional right if it's not afelony, And that case may play into

(43:25):
Hunter Biden's case down the road,So that one's going to be looked at
quite a bit. Moving forward,we continue, We're also waiting to see
from the justices whether cities and statescan penalize people for sleeping outside. It's
the biggest case on homelessness in morethan forty years. The justices could decide
whether cities can use ticketing to getpeople off the streets. That's also another

(43:52):
massive case. And here's the thingfor a lot of these The case that
eventually turn the tide was the casebrought here in Phoenix, which one of
the federal courts said, hey, listen, if you're homeless and you have

(44:15):
no other resources, you have nowhereelse to go. There's no shelter,
there's no rehab facility, there's noCouchSurfing, you have nothing, and there
are no options. Then it's notillegal to sleep in the park on the
streets. But if there are bedsavailable, if there are areas where you

(44:42):
can go, whether it is arehab or a shelter or something, and
you choose not to, then itbecomes an issue and they're going to rule
on that one. And I thinkthat's a really important one because of homelessness
and the fact that these people areaddicts in a vast majority of cases and
mentally ill, and when given theopportunity. They don't want to follow the

(45:07):
rules. They don't want to goto rehab, they don't want to go
to a shelter because there's rules. So what do you do at that point?
Continue? What else is out there? The multi billion dollar historic settlement
with the Sackler family and per NewPharma and the opioid crisis is on the
line. The justices will decide whetherthat payout can go forward. And also

(45:28):
big cases dealing with questions on socialmedia. Can states regulate the social media
platforms and how they moderate their contentand the algorithms that run the feeds that
we see. I think that caseis the big one. They're on the
social media. I think that's goingto come back. It's like, no,
you guys can't. You guys cannotdo that. Now? Is there
an age range that they may beable to put on there? Okay?

(45:50):
Maybe all of those things. Imean, I understand like the Florida and
several other states are trying to dosaying hey, you guys are bad this
speech over here, but saying thisspeech is fine, You're taking this down.
COVID whatever it was, the vaccines, whether the Lave League theory and
saying it's wrong, and then lateron saying it's okay, you overregulated.

(46:14):
There's a freedom of speech issue inthere, but there's also a freedom of
speech issue. And finally, Iwonder if there is one other case that
may be big. The biggest casethat a lot of people are waiting to
see this court decide is whether formerPresident Donald Trump has absolute immunity from criminal
prosecution in these cases involving the SpecialCouncil. The Court has never taken up

(46:35):
that question before. It has saidpresidents former presidents have some immunity in cases
of civil liability. But this willbe a historic and momentous decision, not
only deciding for this president of course, and whether a trial could move forward
by the end of the year, but for all future presidents. And I'm
surprised this case has never been broughtup before. And this immunity case which

(46:57):
everybody's freaking out about because I thinkTrump's going to win this one, which
will basically give him immunity from whenhe you know, the quote unquote January
sixth, but the election interference thingsthat give him immunity because as a president,
so take Trump off of this ifand it's hard for people to do.
But I want you guys think aboutthis for a second. What they're

(47:20):
saying here is you do things asa president where much much like police officers,
you kind of have your discretion andthat you and I couldn't do.
So as a president, you're doingcertain things and you should have immunity from
that. And if you don't haveimmunity from that, then when you are

(47:44):
done being president, should you beable to be charged with stuff that you
did while you were president? AndSo I look at this and I think
I think Trump's gonna win that, and I think it's not going to be
five to four six three. Ithink it's gonna be um bigger than that
because it's not just about Trump. This because of all the stuff that's going

(48:05):
on, and Trump is always he'sjust noise is you know, they'll make
it about that, but it's alot of other things. Now, it
doesn't mean that after president that you'reyou got blanket immunity, But while you're
in the office, do you haveimmunity? So that's a big one.
That's what everybody's waiting for, andthat will affect a lot of things,

(48:28):
especially the you know, the theDC case three two, three, five,

if he would commute his son Hunter'supcoming sentience, President Biden told reporters quote

(50:00):
no. The President earlier in hispress conference was asked if he believed his
son was able to get a fairtrial. He reiterated, he will not
pardon Hunter. He's one of thegreatest, most decent men I know,
and I am satisfied that I'm notgoing to do anything. I said.
I advide by the jury decision.I will do that, and I will

(50:20):
not partner him. You know whosaid that he should commute the sentence,
Hillary Clinton? I would do it. Sorry, he's my kid. Would
you not do that for your kid? If given the opportunity, would you
not? Now a lot he saysall the things he could say, Oh,

(50:42):
I'm not going to do this.I'm not going to do that.
A lock can happen between now andNovember and now and next year. So
if and it's a big if wherewe are right now, if you look
at the polls, it's a bigif. But if I had to put
money on it, Trump wins, you're leaving office, you're eighty two years

(51:09):
old or whatever. You're not goingto commute your kids sentence. You're not
going to pardon him. You knowwhat would really put a nail in it.
If Trump becomes president his first actis to pardon him. Oh my

(51:29):
god, that would be such aTrump thing to do. And then everybody
be pissed like he's only doing thatbecause he hates Joe Biden. Speaking of
hate, Does God hate Florida? In Miami, the streets lined with abandoned
vehicles, tow truck driver Leo Alonsotelling our team his phone has been ringing
NonStop or won't an houswer anymore? So much? Some homes still drying out.

(51:52):
Darla Casillo says the water brought insideher home, frogs flying bugs everywhere
and call your county. More thantwo feet of rain has fallen. Police
say two people in the area werekilled after a driver lost control, causing
a multi vehicle crash. Yeah,it's massive, and it's not just I
mean think about this too. Floridais a big destination place, so you've

(52:15):
got this horror going on it.Fort Lauderiel's getting ready to get pounded again.
It's another wave of massive amounts ofrain getting ready as seismic, giant,
huge, chaotic, huge, godlikeNoah esque rainfall. It's getting ready
to happen. But think about otherplaces. What do you mean flying,

(52:38):
Because as we all know, allit takes is for one plane not to
get somewhere and the next thing, you know, the Domino effect. Extreme
rain and flooding in South Florida arecausing problems for air travel. Miami's Airport
has the most canceled and delayed flightsof any airport in the world, followed
by Fort Lauderdale International, and becauseMiami is such a major hub for American

(52:59):
air LA, Americans canceled hundreds offlights, followed by Spirit and Southwest Airline.
Yeah, so that Domino effect couldstart to happen, but it is
going to be a just a delugeif you will, coming in the next
few days and throughout parts of theSouth. It's crazy how bad it is

out there right now. Three two, three, five, three eight twenty

very real thing that we've got totalk about because you hear you know,
it's doom and gloom. Some places, it's great others. We'll get his
breakdown of what's going on in theCPI report, which is the inflation report,
and so much more so. ChadBenson, Chow Such Chad Benson Show,

(54:24):
Independent Thoughts, Independent Life. Thisis Chad Benson. Father's Day is
the worst holiday in the world.I've done the research. I already know.
Let me tell you something. Mother'sDay is the second most celebrated holiday
in the world. Christmas is first, so that means it's Jesus, then

(54:46):
your mama. You know what Father'sDay fall? That number twenty the eighteen
of the holidays. Do you realizeHalloween is number six. That mean ghost
in goblins go before fathers all theday is number thirteen. I don't even

(55:08):
know what that is. Ha hah. It is Father's Day weekend. Go
to mystaks dot com. Actually, you grab dad those amazing steaks. He
will appreciate it. Dads don't getenough credit because we've decided that dads aren't
really needed. And then we goand look at the statistics and the amount

(55:30):
of things that we could solve inthis country when it comes to poverty,
imprisonment, we go on and on. If dads were more involved and not
diminished, would be tremendous. Igo back to those statistics, mother and
father in the home, chances ofthe child male or female doing great spectacular,

(55:58):
father only saying outcome, mother onlyhorrible odds. Not to diminish to
mothers, but to show that fathersare important and it's not always the man's
fault and it's not always the woman'sfault. Why there isn't a father in
the home. But if you wantto see what fatherless and this gets you,

You're hanging out with convicted felon DonaldTrump. I don't think anyone on

But Trump did visit yesterday and alot of people were excited. What I
would say today about the Senate engagementwith President Trump. He was the team
captain and we were glad he wasleading us. Everybody in that room is

(57:28):
dying for him to get back inoffice. He wants us to win the
Senate so we can put judges onthe bench. He talked about him helping
us. It was the single bestmeeting I've ever seen between the United States
Republican senators and President Trump. Hewas in a good mood. People appreciate
him, yeah, but some peopleare critical of him decided not to show

(57:54):
up. What are you hearing fromthe Republican lawmakers after their clothes meetings?
A lot of the Republicans were verypositive coming out of the meeting, even
some of those who have been criticalof the former president, believing that this
is a good effort to try tounify a party that has been badly divided.
And some of the dissenters in theSenate Republican meeting actually did not even

(58:15):
attend the meeting, so there wasreally not much dissension that was voiced within
the room. In fact, SusanCollins of Maine, someone who voted to
convict Donald Trump, has not endorsedhim, to not attend the meeting needed
to Lisa mccowsky. So critics weren'tthere people that were there to celebrate him
and to realize that, look, whether you like it or not, this

(58:36):
is the guy. And here's somethingelse too, Lisa mccowsky. Susan Collins,
we can sit here and say theydon't like him, They're not going
to endorse him, et cetera. When it comes to voting, what do
you bet a vast majority of theirvotes if he becomes president again, we'll
line up with Trump. Oh yeah, yeah. They don't like Trump,

(58:59):
understand they like some of the antics. Understandable. I get tired of it
as well. Is exhausting, Butso much of what we talk about when
it comes to Trump has zero, zero to do with policy and all to
do with personality. Oh yeah, that's true. Hey, it's pride mouth.

(59:20):
How excited to you? This cakeand these donuts are only for the
gays, the LGBT students in here. What would you say? I'm an
ally? I like that, yo. Wouldn't that be very fair? No,
that wouldn't be fair at all.So you shouldn't treat people differently based
on your sexuality, right, SoI should get every give everybody a piece
of cake. Right. I don'tcare if you're a straight or dead.

(59:44):
Yo. I love y'all the same. There you go. The teacher there
giving a pride lesson has pride wornout. It's welcome. This is Jennifer
Say. She used to run LeviStrauss and she's talking about the fact that
you know what h companies are kindof over it. And it's not just
because of the crazy right. Yeah, I think I think Pride may have

(01:00:07):
finally jumped the shark, at leastthe corporate version. And you're right,
it's coming from both sides. Thesort of you know, money making strategy
wrapped in kind of a values ledinitiative has been revealed for what it is.
It's a strategy to make money. It's not values led. They don't
care about values, they don't careabout LGBTQ, not to any real extent.

(01:00:30):
They care about making money. Andwhen those campaigns stop doing that,
they're going to stop doing it.But they won't admit it. They can't
admit it because that reveals the liethat is woe capitalism. So they have
to just kind of pull back veryquietly, pull back very quietly. It's
about money, it's about all ofthe things. It's about not being yelled

(01:00:53):
at by one activist group. We'vetalked about it on numerous occasions. They
don't fear a downtime in the economylike they used to. They don't fear
the things that we would look backin the seventies, eighties and even the
nineties of what CEOs and corporations wouldworry about what they fear is social media
fallout, and everybody felt like theyhad to get on the side of this

(01:01:15):
in the social media world. Andwhat they did is they overstepped because they
were habitual line steppers of a silliness. Look, everybody was fine with rainbow
t shirts for Pride, you know, I think it just started to go
a little crazy and get a littleweird. And I think the Target tucket
bathing suits and the children's section justwent it was a bridge too far.
And I you know, it hasbeen positioned as this far right pushback,

(01:01:37):
but I don't think that's even whatit is. I think it's just regular
moms and they want to go toTarget and they want to buy their laundry
detergent and you know, kids clothes, and they don't necessarily want to be
confronted with that. And I wantto be clear, this isn't just Pride.
I mean, did anybody really believethat Dorito's cared about elevating black voices.
I don't think so. Dorito's astoner d for guys playing video games,

(01:02:00):
And it all was ridiculous, thesefake values led stances. Nobody believed
it not really, And I thinkthe lieon hypocrisy has been revealed for what
it is. And I think atthe end of the day, companies need
to deliver a great product and marketingthat is tailored to that consumer and kind
of stop with all this nonsense. Here here, that's Jennifer saying. She's

(01:02:20):
former CEO of Levi Strauss, andshe's absolutely right. These companies didn't care
they handed money to Black Lives Matterand all these other things because they thought
it was the right thing to do. They were trying to court customers and
appease them and look nice. Theydidn't care about any of that stuff.
I'm not saying they didn't think thatblack lives matter, or that they don't

(01:02:42):
believe in equality or equal you know, the equity bs, but you know
you're not. I'm talking about theybelieve in that, so who do.
It's not about that. It's aboutthe fact that they felt that they were
buying goodwill for the betterman of thecompany and maybe buying new people purchasing said

(01:03:04):
products to look like they're good people. In reality, they didn't want to
give money away, but they feltthey had to. It's not because it
was something ingrained in their core atthe corporate level. Not a shocker three

Chad Benson, Joe, hashtag metoo, hashtag immigration reforms, hashtag

(01:04:30):
help. I'm trapped in a hashtagfactory and I can't get out the Chat
Benson Show. At that time ofthe week, we sit down and talk
about the economy, you know, the things that matter in life. Joining
us now is always our friend, our buddy here a sponsor of the show,
Zach Abram, chief investment officer overat Boy Capital. Let's hit it
out of the box, CPI report, What do you make of it?

(01:04:53):
How's this going to affect the market? And we're looking at rate cuts anytime
soon? You know, that's athat's a great question. CPI came in
a little bit a little bit cooler. You know, I don't think you
can make too much of it,but it definitely seemed to be two reports
now in a row of the mostyou know, that spike of inflation we

(01:05:14):
saw at the beginning of the yearand really throughout much of the first quarter.
It looks like that's tempered a little. That could certainly create space for
them to to cut. If youwere to make me choose, I'd probably
say the likelihood is you'll see onecut this year. Now. The tough
thing about that this is such abizarre, abnormal, really incomparable macroeconomic setup.

(01:05:39):
And I don't mean to say thatas a pass I just mean that
you've got so many different setups inthis market and the economy that not that
are strange, but that we've neverseen before. Right, So I think
any type of prognostication needs to comewith a big old grain of salt,
just because you know, we're inwe're in undiscovered territory. So I think
anything can happening the micro. Youknow, the economy could decelerate much faster

(01:06:02):
than most people think. But Iwill say at this point, and I
think it's buoyed. Mostly it's stillabout deficit spending, which is, you
know, if you're looking for recessionand you think when there's right around the
corner, using traditional metrics and lookingat traditional recessionary indicators, it's really hard
to say there is one right aroundthe corner, you know. So I

(01:06:24):
really think for the FED to cutrates, you're going to have to see
a rise in unemployment. I justdon't think until you see a rise of
unemployment, you know, Because here'sthe deal. If if the market starts
sniffing out another rate cut, equitiesare going to continue rallying. You know,
we got new all time highs thisweek on the S and P and
the NASDAC, and every time thosethings make new all time highs, that's
going to be upward pressure on inflation. So we'll see. Like I said,

(01:06:47):
I kind of think you might seeone. I think the odds are
either one cut or no cuts thisyear, so you know, and that's
kind of what the FED is forecasting, and you and I both know if
they're forecasting it most likely not goingto be the case. But yeah,
that is where we're at talking toZacha ramchief investment officer bull Or Capital.
You look at the stock market, inflation obviously hasn't seemed to slow anything down

(01:07:12):
over evaluation of many of these companies. There's going to be something, I
mean, from I mean from everyexpert I read and watch. Everybody's waiting
for that Shoes Act to come down. They just don't know when it's not
if but when you're like, ithas to have a correction at some point,
we can have a bull market forever. Look at and as a guy

(01:07:33):
that is really tied into fundamentals,I could not be more sympathetic with that
take. You know, I thinkeverybody needs to take a step back and
realize what happened last year. Okay, and let's use Apple as an example.
You got a company, first timeever went four or five straight consecutive
quarters with declining earnings and declining revenues, and interest rates went up at the

(01:07:56):
same time, and the stock rallyfifty percent in the same year that those
things happen. So the reason Ibring that up is because I think that
we're all, including myself, havebeen very resistant to the idea of the
stock market is a value indicator overthe long term. But when you have
a government spending this much money, the money has to go somewhere, right,

(01:08:19):
and the other thing that and again, I you know you'll hear me
screaming from the rooftops. You know, this is an artificially created market,
This is an artificially driven economy.Things are going to get ugly at the
same time. Again, when whenyou're spending that much money, things can
continue to go up. And thenif you look historically, when do big

(01:08:41):
crashes never happen. They never happenwhen everybody agrees that they have to,
right, it's just it's not Unfortunately, even that is aiding markets going higher,
you know, and people are like, what are you talking about?
We look, guys, I meaneight oh nine, And just take it
from me because I was saying thisat the time and I didn't have a

(01:09:01):
public platform. But if you wereinside the big investment houses in No.
Eight o nine and you were tellingpeople you thought housing was about ready to
collapse, you've got laughed at,right, you got you got laughed at,
ridiculed, shunned. So when everybody'sout there saying, oh, this
market can't keep going up, Imean, look, if you're going to
keep spending the way the government istheoretically it can you know what I think.

(01:09:24):
I think. The other thing, and this is the drum we've been
pounding on chat is hey, guys, there are worse scenarios than markets going
down. And let me just remindeverybody that when you talk about markets going
down, what you're talking about effectivelyis a deflationary incident, right, where
markets go down. Okay, Oneway to look at deflationary incidents is especially

(01:09:47):
when it's done in a local currency. Meaning if we had asset prices drop
here, it's asset prices dropping, but it's also a currency gaining strength relative
to those asset prices. Right. So how many governments or countries do you
know failed because their currency got toovaluable? Right? None? What ushered
in the end inflation and currency degradation. And that's one of the things we're

(01:10:08):
pounding on the table is, Hey, guys, I understand your calls for
correction and need to protect from thedownside, which I couldn't agree with you
more. I'm with you, butthere's another there's another risk out there that
can be just as deadly, ifnot more deadly, and we have to
we got to protect against both ofthem. So you need to have a
portfolio that's going to be able toaddress the inflationary side. But also what

(01:10:30):
you're talking about, right, becausewe're not on solid ground and it's very
tricky. It's very tricky, verytricky, indeed, and exactly Abrahm,
Chiefvestment Officer, Board Capital people wantto reach out to you get that,
and I keep telling everybody and they'relike, I've never even thought of it
that way, Chad. It isa second opinion on what's going on in

we do, what it's like, what benefits you'll get from being a bullwork

(01:11:38):
deploy, the different strategies we're goingto deploy to protect our clients from current
inflation and pending inflation, and alsowe're going to explain and through charts and
visuals, how the average portfolio ismore exposed to inflation than it ever has
been. And it really is justa makeup of the market. But it's
something that I think everybody needs toknow because I think the's a lot of

(01:12:00):
folks out there thinking, oh,I'm well diversified. If you're just invested
in the overall stock market today, you're less diversified than you've ever been.
So just wanting to explain that riskjust so everybody knows it, and you
know, hopefully people will want tobecome clients. But more importantly, I
think even if you don't want tobecome a client, I think there's still
a lot of actionable stuff in thereto give you ideas and different ways you
can manage the inflationary risk on yourown. I love it, brother,

twenty four to twenty three At ChadBenson Show's your Twitter, It's a Chat
Benson Show. This is the ChatBenson Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life,

(01:13:15):
this is Chad Benson. When you'rehungry and you're sitting around the table
at night with the kids, areyou discussing democracy or you're saying, man,
life is expensive. We've got tofigure this thing out because it ain't
working the way that things are rightnow. That's what David Axelrod said,

(01:13:35):
which I found to be very refreshing, because the reality is, while the
Democrats say, look, Trump iselected, it's over. He's can install
himself as a wizard or a kingor whatever, and he's never going to
let anybody ever have an election again, enslave everybody, et cetera, et
cetera. I'm the son of aJewish refugee from Eastern Europe. I so

(01:13:56):
love this democracy. But I've alsosaid, if you are talking about democracy
over the dinner table, it's probablybecause you don't have to worry about the
cost of the food on your dinnertable. I would think the messaging should
address that. I think the peoplewho are hanging out here, the people
who need to be reached and motivated, are more motivated by those kinds of
issues than they probably are by theissue of democracy. Wow, that's honesty

(01:14:23):
right there, That's what that is. Kids. You're pushing all of this
other stuff democracy, you know allit's all the things, those things matter.
Are you worried about democracy yet?I am not? Democracy's fine.
I don't for a second think thathe is going to enslave us or destroy

(01:14:45):
us or do any of those things. Sorry, you guys know my feelings
about Trump. I'd rather see somebodyelse. That being said, I kind
of agree with Bill Barr in manyways. One fils a certainty of death
i e. Biden and the waythat things are going, and the other
one feels like Russian roulette. Ithink Trump again. Personality always wins out

(01:15:11):
over the politics and policies of Trump. We never focus on that. I
mean, you know, today,it's just he talked about Milwaukee behind closed
doors. Somebody said, so,how many times have we heard that?
But it becomes a story. Butthe average person doesn't care. The average
person is thinking food, inflation, gas, business, those things. That's

(01:15:39):
what they're thinking we talked about itearlier. I'll just do a quick snapshot
here about the Wall Street Journal, because they've been hitting up you know,
Janet Yellen talking about all the stuff. You know, how good the economy
is. She's talking how great itis, how how better off everybody is.
The public believes that the former presidentTrump was better for the economy than

(01:16:00):
the current president. Well, youknow, I think President Biden understands that
people are feeling pain. When theysay this, they aren't concerned. They've
seen the level of prices rise quitea lot, I mean, over twenty
percent over the last three years orso. They can remember when the price
of a gallon of milk or aloaf of bread was thirty percent lower than

(01:16:26):
it is now thirty percent. Celebratethe wins, celebrate the losses, right
for you're honest with yourself, Katy. You don't celebrate the losses. You
have fools, no, But whatyou do is you're honest about it.
And I think that's the problem withpoliticians always trying to talk around. We
want to do you want to hearsomething real or do you want to be

(01:16:46):
told something that you want to hear, even if it's a lie. I
think politicians would benefit more coming outsaying, look, time suck. We've
got through a lot of different stuff. We've tried several things. Some of
it's work. If it hasn't,we're doing everything we can within our power
to do some of these things,to try to bring down inflation, to

(01:17:06):
try to get us to a placeof more comfort as a nation, and
then the rest is on you.But instead it's just talking points and you
know, rah rah and half truth. All Americans, both those who are
well off and those who are nearat the bottom of the income distribution,

(01:17:28):
are better off now. Their wageshave risen more than prices. That's not
true. But why let the truthstand in the way of a great story,
the reality if you've made because theway that they do, you know,
the way they start to break thingsdown is like, well, you

(01:17:50):
know it rows two percent, youknow, two point five percent inflation,
and you've got a three percent jup. That's great, But cumulatively over time
during Biden, no, it hasn't. You know that, And I know
that because if wages have outpaced everything, why are we all going, oh
my god? Now? Wall StreetJournal did a breakdown of different variations of

(01:18:15):
the economy. As far as howthis looks like, first was the stock
mark, both of them have performedpretty damn well. Biden's up a little
bit on Trump at this point inhis presidency, but Trump dealt with the
pandemic, which Biden didn't have todeal with in that way the first,
you know, kick in the grundle, and over his presidency it was up

(01:18:40):
to seventy percent. That's huge.As far as net worth, Trump hasn't
beat by about four percentage points. But when adjusted for inflation, Trump,
as far as the net worth andeverything, nineteen percent up, Biden zero

(01:19:00):
point seven, so less than onepercent. That's why we consider and say,
oh, adjusted for this, adjustedfor that, and then what about
inflation? And its doubt done thisand you could tell the story how you
want to tell us. So wewere talking to Zach Abraham. They all
tell a different story, and thatincludes the right and left. When it
comes they're gonna pick and choose thethings that they want you to hear.

(01:19:21):
But do I think we're better off? I don't think we're horrible. I
know a lot of people out therethink we are. I don't think we're
horrible, but are where we couldbe? No, have we put ourselves
into I think this position because ofoverprinting money. Absolutely, and remember this
the federal government, it's the onlyone who could print money. That's where

(01:19:43):
the inflation comes from. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three actch youhad Benson show, it's your Twitter.
Yesterday the Supreme Court, evil andbad decided that hey, this this this
abortion drug MILF for pristo't we're gonnaallow it because this should never even gotten
to this point. These people areyou know, even if they have some
arguments that you could be listening to, they come in at an activist position

(01:20:05):
that says zero to do with themedical side of it. So it was
a unanim's decision. Normally, bynow we've got all the cases, but
it's taking more than a little whileto get all of the cases, and
there's still important cases out there toowell for us to find out. They've

(01:20:26):
already been heard, we just haven'tfound out yet. We're also waiting to
see from the justices whether cities andstates can penalize people for sleeping outside.
It's the biggest case on homelessness inmore than forty years. The justices could
decide whether cities can use ticketing toget people off the streets. Why that's
a big case is up until Ithink it was last summer or the summer

(01:20:53):
before last, we had the zoneout here in Phoenix, which is this
homeless area that people just did whateverthe hell they wanted. Nobody did anything,
and they just kind of Phoenix hitit away, except for it expanded
and then a case went above. You know, I went went from court
to court to court to court, and they finally ruled and said, nah,
you know what, at the federallevel, not supreme court level,

(01:21:15):
this is wrong. You can removethese people because the original decision came out
of IAHO was was horrible. Thisdecision was the right decision, and they're
now hearing at the federal level canyou remove people? Here's the catch.
If you have nowhere to go,I'm talking zero places, no shelter,

(01:21:39):
no car, no rehab. They'reall full up, right, we're all
full up at the end. Well, then it's not a crime. But
if you refuse service over and overand over again, then it becomes an
issue. And I have a feelingthat going to rule that yeah, if

(01:22:01):
there is nowhere else, then no, it shouldn't be you shouldn't be ticket.
It shouldn't be crunching me. Butif if you have the opportunity and
you choose not to take it becauseyou don't want to follow the rules,
you don't want to go to rehab, you're mentally or whatever it is,
then it is a problem. Continue. I know there's more out there,
more than twenty four cases still yetto be decided by the end of the

(01:22:24):
month, so a lot on theline, including another major abortion case.
That case deals with the question ofwhether women in emergency situations need to be
able to have access to abortion inhospitals funded by the federal government. That
could apply nationwide, even in placeswhere abortion is banned. So what that
means is quick snapshot, you're awoman who's pregnant, you have an emergency

(01:22:51):
and they're going to have to abortthe baby or you run the risk of
dying. At the federal level, federal hospitals across the street may be fine,
but the federal it's emergency. Dothey have the right to do that
during an emergency? And then whoyou know the decision side of it,
like is there there there have tobe a panel? Things of that nature.

(01:23:14):
That's what they're addressing there, andI heard there may be one more
case that's important. The biggest casethat a lot of people are waiting to
see this court decide is whether formerPresident Donald Trump has absolute immunity from criminal
prosecution in these cases involving the SpecialCouncil. The Court has never taken up
that question before. It has saidpresidents former presidents have some immunity in cases

(01:23:34):
of civil liability. But this willbe a historic and momentous decision, not
only deciding for this president, ofcourse, and whether a trial could move
forward by the end of the year, but for all future presidents. And
this is important because this has asmuch to do about other presidents as it

(01:23:57):
does Trump. Question, surprise hasnot gotten further long before this that something
you do as president you could beheld liable for because you make certain decisions
that the average person could never make, and if they did, they'd be
in serious trouble. But now couldyou be liable for it? Or do
you have immunity as the president ofthe United States because you have to make

(01:24:19):
certain decisions. So that is abig one, and that has more to
do with the federal cases in particularthe the DC case. So we're going
to find out what that looks like. And that's gonna, I think,
be a big deal when that happens. In the bump stock Today they rejected

(01:24:41):
Trump's bump stock ban, so we'llsee still more out there, kids,
But that big one right there isthe one that a lot of people in
the political world are waiting for.Is the immunity case. Three two,
three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty three. Hatch had

cost you tens of tens of thousandsof dollars. It's cost you time lost

income. On top of that, beware saw that was that that dentist in
southern California took that that squatter thatlady was in there, took him forever
to get him, I mean,to get her out of there. It's
crazy crazy, Indeed, it soundssalid. California's crazy. There's a lot

(01:32:26):
of stuff happening right here in thishistoric building behind me, also known as
the California State Capitol. Right now, Democrats in this building are trying to
ram through a bill that would establisha fund in the state treasury for reparations.
The Reparations Task Forces recommendation is thatAfrican Americans in the state of California

(01:32:47):
received eight hundred billion dollars in taxpayerfunded reparations. That'll be one point two
million dollars each. Wow, that'sa that's no problem. I'm right,
one point two each California. Yeah, you guys are doing it up.
Senate Bill one three three one, which would be the first step to getting

(01:33:08):
this to happen. Just pass outof the Assembly Appropriations Committee. That means
once they can get it through theAssembly floor and to the governor for a
signature, it becomes law. That'swhat State Senator Stephen Bradford wants to do.
He wants California to take responsibility fordiscriminatory policies against African Americans, for

(01:33:29):
slavery, for all these different thingsand all these different injustices that happened in
our past. But let me remindeverybody once again that California was a free
state. Yeah, it doesn't matterthough. It's about being woke, it's
about doing something insane because California thinksthey can the governor, even the crazy
Gavenus and will never sign this becausethey don't have the money. You're losing

(01:33:51):
people. You lost Jillian Michaels, for God's sakes, California got too crazy
for me. I grew up here. I'm a woman and woman. My

I hold a million cards in yourgame of woke victimology poker. And when
I leave California, maybe you've lostyour mind. When you have me running

big time. Just think about thatfor a second. She just she
just went through all of the thingsthat she is, Kay, black kid,
Jewish, Arab dad. We goon and on, like she said,

(01:34:36):
she got all the cards, andCalifornia's gods are the point now where
chasing her away, Like like, what was it? I got? Girl?
There's not enough time. I actuallytake this line from Bill and Elon
Musk and they're like, I actuallyhaven't changed. The world around me is
shifting and I haven't moved. Someof these laws that our passing here are

(01:35:01):
absolutely mind boggling in relation to crimeprotecting our kids. We're decriminalizing everything,
which arguably I would probably be okaywith, but we're not regulating any of
it, which is a big deal. That's why I prop forty seven.
They're trying to repeal that. Now, we talked about that yesterday. It's

(01:35:23):
Jillie and Michaels. Though again she'sI might be for a lot of those
things. The regulation thing is theylove to regulate business and individuals as much
as they can, who are theupstanding citizens. What they don't want to
regulate is anything else, and theywant to make everybody else who is responsible
pay for it. So it's like, Okay, you're going to decriminalize sex

(01:35:45):
work, but only so women canlegally loiter on the streets, like not
to keep them safe, not tohave them pay taxes, not to make
them regularly check for STDs, notto take away the pims out of the
It's the like, if you madethat argument to me, you'd be like,
well, yes, of course,I mean I could be liberal,
I could go there with you,but I grew up this way. She's

(01:36:08):
one hundred percent right and that wholeand so much of what they're doing is
they're doing out of the kindness ofthe heart of doing about feelings, and
then what ends up happening is allthe things they say they're going to do
makes it so much worse. Andshe hit it on the nose that you've
talked about. There's no there's noaccountability or responsibility for any of the actions.
They promise you these things and thenthey don't deliver any of them,

(01:36:30):
and they do it all in manycasions based on lies. Oh no way.
And then what we're gonna do.We're gonna pass a law for LGBTQ
rights so that twenty four year oldmen can sleep with fourteen year old boys
and not have to register as asex offender because it's just not fair to
the gaze. I'm like, what, like, I don't know if you
saw that one. That was likeI think early twenty twenty when they passed

(01:36:51):
that law and it's I was giventwenty four year old men touches my fourteen
year old son. Oh, Iwill get a gun? In my own
answer, yes, California do everythingto make sure that you can't get a
gun. Jillian Michaels one more fromher or the fact that a twelve year
old child can be put on offlabel cancer drugs to irreparably change their body.

(01:37:20):
Again, if my son came tome and said, Mom, I
think I'm trans I'd say, okay, you know, like you want to
dress this way? You want meto call you whatever you want me to,
fine, explore it. I loveyou, do you as long as
we're safe. But we're not changingyour body until it's fully developed. I'm
sorry, conversation's over. Can geta tattoo. It's insane. It's madness.

(01:37:44):
To me, I agree, onehundred and ten percent, absolutely insane.
And you continue to chase people awaybecause you continue to do ridiculous things.
And that's California from everybody who's blackgets reparations even though they weren't a
slave state. To you're chasing liberalsaway who are like, look, I'm
a liberal, I'm not woken insane, and yet here we are from more

(01:38:09):
insanity. It's even more insanity. Here's the mayor of Chicago. Let me
ask you another question that will bethe awkward elephant in the room, and
that is about the Suntime story lastweek about your spending of thirty thousand dollars
from your campaign fund for hair andmakeup. Can you respond to that and
explain why you think that's an appropriateuse of the campaign dollars too many people,

(01:38:31):
seems like a lot of money.I think it's always appropriate to make
sure that we're investing in small businesses, especially minority owned, black owned,
women owned businesses. Oh god,he's just the worst. It's Brandon Johnson.
There. So you spent thirty grandon hair and makeup for small businesses?
What do you bet you know them? Our campaign spends money on food.

(01:38:56):
We support black and brown owned businesses, women owned businesses. There are
a number of things that my campaignspends dollars on, and I'm so committed
to supporting small businesses that even asmayor, we just made another announcement of
another thirty four to thirty five milliondollars available for small businesses. Yeah,
but here's the thing, you're spendingit because it's not your money. Would

(01:39:18):
you spend thirty thousand dollars if itwas your money on hair and makeup?
Probably not. That's that's important topeople that we lift up. You know,
small businesses that in particular that don'talways get the attention to support that
they deserve it. And so we'regoing to continue to do that as a
city, and we'll make sure thatyou know, I encourage all of you

(01:39:40):
in this room support support small businesses. Go get your hair and makeup done
by black people in particular, yep, support small business one hundred and ten
percent correct on that, and ifyou have a chance, support small businesses
with other people's money. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three. Atchyou had, Benson Show? Is your

If you liked doc Radio like ChadBenson likes his meals, You've come
to the perfect place for takeout.Donald Trump had a meeting with all he
called a meeting with all the HouseRepublicans on Capitol Hill. It was his
first visit to the Hill since Januarysixth. They always returned to the scene
of the crime. Some Republicans whowere in the room described the meeting as

(01:41:35):
a gripe filled airing of legal andpersonal grievances. There were no founras in
the room. Reportedly, Trump covereda lot of ground. One of the
things he's upset about is Taylor Swiftsupporting Joe Biden. He said, why
would she endorse this dope? Andthey were like, I don't know,
why did we endorse this dope. It's oh look at that there by the

(01:41:56):
way, Taylor Swift. I wasreading that people were dancing some much at
her concert. It was on theRichter scale. I thget about that.
It's the kind of power she has. I don't think anybody's caring about Joe
Biden and Taylor Swift. I'm justletting you guys know that is the power
she has. Mitch McConnell, how'dto go with Trump? We had a
really positive meeting. He and Igot a chance to call a little bit

(01:42:21):
if for sure pans a few times. Yeah, they haven't seen each other
since what that day? Right aroundthat day? They haven't seen each other
in a while. And Mitch, let's be real, he's done. He's
gonna run again, but he's notgoing to be the leader of the Senate,
even if the Republicans take it.He's already stepping down from that position.

(01:42:44):
How to go in your mind, lindsay what I would say today about
the Senate engagement with President Trump. He was the team captain and we were
glad he was leading us. Everybodyin that room is dying for him to
get back in office. He wantsus to win the Senate so we can
put judges on the bench. Hetalked about him helping us. It was

(01:43:04):
the single best meeting I've ever seenbetween the United States Republican senators and President
Trump. He was in a goodmood. People appreciate him. Is that
true. Well, there's a reasonthat it was rah rah rah is because
the people that don't support him aren'tthrilled. They just didn't show. What

(01:43:25):
are you hearing from the Republican lawmakersafter their closed door meetings? A lot
of the Republicans were very positive comingout of the meeting, even some of
those who have been critical of theformer president, believing that this is a
good effort to try to unify aparty that has been badly divided. And
some of the dissenters in the SenateRepublican meeting actually did not even attend the
meeting, so there was really notmuch dissension that was voiced within the room.

(01:43:47):
In fact, Susan Collins of Maine, someone who voted to convict Donald
Trump has not endorsed him, didnot attend the meeting. Negative Lisa Mkowski.
Yeah, so the people that arenot on Trump's side are not thrilled
by Trump. Who have already said, yeah, I want no part of
this. They didn't show up,and the people that did were there because
they love Trump and because it's politicallyexpedient for them. Immediately after the meeting,

(01:44:12):
I caught up with our league fromLkowsky and I asked her about her
concerns about her party getting behind DonaldTrump so quickly, even though there has
been some divisions, there's no chancehe'll support her. I've already made clear
that I am not satisfied with eitherchoice that we have as Republicans or Democrats.
Yeah. I think a lot ofpeople feel that way for both sides
of it. I think we understandthat not everything is great. Wish we

(01:44:36):
had better choices, which we had, some younger choices. The reality is
this is what we got, atleast at this point in time. Three

unaccountable and rogue court and a unanimousopinion? How often do you hear that
from the Spring court? It isnot illegal to teach striving. It's fine.
Fire my motor running, dude,it's time. The best thing that

invented by Miss Sonora Smart DoD.Father's Day was invented by Miss Norrasmart Dodd.
Her father had looked after six childrenas their mother sadly passed away.

After celebrating Mother's Days, and orbelieved that there should be a Father's Day

And I don't know if you guysknow this, Mother's Day dwarfs it
when it comes to how much wespend, but Father's Day is the fifth
