(00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. Thisis Chad Benson. The economy, abortion,
immigration, maybe not so much inthat order. Depends on where you
are, but immigration is a bigdeal. Biden's going to make a big
announcement. President Biden today will announcea new program that will allow some undocumented
spouses and children of US citizens toapply for lawful permanent resident status. Under
(00:34):
current laws, these migrants are alreadyeligible for these protections, but this program
would facilitate the process and keep familiestogether. President Biden's also expected to announce
a new action to help facilitate theprocess of obtaining work feceas for recipients of
DHAKA or deferred action for childhood arrivals. Yeah, it's a big deal.
It's about five hundred thousand people.I think people think that e've sneak into
(01:00):
our country, right, come hereand you're here, you're living your life,
and then you meet somebody, fallin love and get married. That
automatically you're good to go. You'resafe, right, you got nothing to
worry about. It's not true.Marrying a US citizen is not a golden
ticket and most importantly, doesn't equateto a green cart under these same existing
(01:23):
laws. Undocumented spouses who wish toadjust their status are sometimes required to return
to their home country to apply forstatus, and they're susceptible to a tenure
ban from returning to the United States. That is a tough pill to swallow,
and I think that's exactly what theBiden administration is trying to address with
this new action. So what wouldyou do today if you had the chance
(01:46):
to marry an American citizen and stayhere with this Chad? But they only
say it's five hundred thousand. Biden'sall over this. Yes, I know,
I know he is. I knowKJP tell us more. You guys
got to and she's so good ather job. Yes, the President has
been very clear in making sure thatwe need a legislative solution, but he
also said when he's talked about theexecutive action that he recently took that in
(02:08):
weeks ahead, he's going to speakon how we can make our immigration system
more fairer and more just so hewill have more to say on that.
The President is certainly going to continueto address what we're seeing at the border,
the challenges at the border, onhow we can make our immigration system
more fairer and more just just goesin circles. How can you say as
(02:31):
many words as possible? I thinkshe gets paid by the word. I
don't think that's true. It's possible. Does this help anything? Now?
It's just another thing with immigration. We have a broken system, and I
blame both sides, by the way, on the broken system. Everybody has
allowed this to go on for decades. Go back way back in the day,
(02:52):
Tip O'Neil, Ronald Reagan president atthe time. What did they do
Amnesty? It's a one shot deal. We're going to sort this thing out.
Wall was a part part of it, all of this stuff. Here
we are four decades later. Nothinghas really been done at all. Nothing
has been done. I get alot of questions too about DACA because you
(03:16):
know, if you guys listen tothe show out here Phoenix, A lot
of my friends are border agents. We chat all the time about it.
And you know, seeing these kidscome here and they're raised here, they
don't know anything outside of here.Wasn't their fault. They didn't ask to
(03:38):
be brought here. They're blessed thatthey have come here. But what do
we do because educating them and inmany cases getting them through college pitching them
the American dream sending them home isnot the answer. We already have a
brain train in this country. Wealready have issues when it comes to not
enough people, which I don't thinkpeople pay enough attention to. It is
a real issue. That being said, we got to fix this system.
(04:02):
It is broke a f I thinkwe can all agree on that. Will
Trump show up next week or won'the You see James Carville's like, I
don't think Trump's gonna show up nextweek. I don't think he is.
I'm like, I bet my houseon it. Okay, Oh he's showing
up for the debate. You knowhe's showing up. Good God, he
debate right now and watching the dueling, this guy's a mess. That guy's
(04:26):
a mess. Should say to allof us, maybe they're both messes.
Maybe it's time that we say toourselves, all right, guys, guys,
time out, time out, timeout, time out. Maybe we
should get a mulligan. Maybe weshould get a mulligan on this. Maybe
we should all get a mulligan.Because you know, I'm reading yesterday and
(04:49):
the message that's going on right now, especially from the media, that is
a MSNBC's the world, who areall about Biden? Never been sharper,
It's never been better. You guysdon't see him juggle. He juggles all
day, right, He's just he'sNonStop. Came in the other day and
he was he was doing stuff you'venever even dreamed of. Right, he's
(05:12):
doing stand up, you know,he's doing handstand push ups, he's doing
crunches, but he's doing him midair. And as he's doing that,
he's doing a dumbbell in the airand he's bouncing it off his his his
forearms and he's catching it again. He is doing stuff you guys have never
dreamed of. We heard though thatyou know, Trump can't find his way
(05:33):
home. And then on the otherside you've got the exact same thing.
So this this is not a policybattle anymore. It's a who's a bigger
mess battle? And there's policy outthere to be had. There's a battle
still to be had, case inpoint, the battle of the Black voter.
(05:55):
I keep looking for signs that thisis going to go back to normal,
and I don't see it yet inthe paul of anything. Right now,
we're careening towards a historic performance forRepublican presidential candidate the likes of which
we have not seen in six decade. Joe Biden is truly struggling among black
voters. All right, So thisis black voters Biden versus Trump margin.
Look at Black voters age fifty andolder and you'll see it. Look Joe
(06:16):
Biden one was leading amongst this groupat this point by eighty three points back
in twenty twenty. Now it's seventyfour points. So yeah, a slight
decline in that margin. It's aslight decline. But remember when you only
win by several thousand votes here, five thousand votes there, twelve thousand votes
here, that slight decline is abig pickup when it comes to the other
(06:44):
side. Look at Black voters underthe age of fifty. Holy cow,
folks, Holy cal Look at this. Joe Biden was up by eighty points
among this group back at this pointin twenty twenty. Look at where that
margin has kareem down towards it's nowjust get this, thirty seven points.
That lead has dropped by more thanhalf. I just never seen anything like
this. I'm like speechless because youalways look at history and you go,
(07:08):
okay, this is a historic moment. If this polling is anywhere near correct.
We are looking at an historic momentright now. We're Black voters under
the age of fifty, which havehistorically been such a big part of the
Democratic coalition, are leaving it indroves. That is big. Why because
two reasons. One, the underfifty generation, in particular the males more
(07:32):
conservative. They're looking around saying, look, four years ago, we were
in a better situation. Inflation wasless. We felt we were in a
better situation. We're not sending moneyto all these countries, and there's a
lot of that. Right, Sothis whole thought process, because you're black,
you have to vote Democrat. Theother side of it is six seven
(07:55):
plus decades of voting Democrat, whatdoes it got you? They're asking that
question, and now they feel becauseI talk to black voters, who to
me are just voters. But again, we have to break everything down by
demographics. And in some cases it'sunderstandable. In some cases' absolutely understandable.
It's just because for the most part, it's a sales job, right,
(08:18):
this is what's going on. You'reselling yourself, and great sales jobs will
know who your demographics are, whoyou're going at, right, Like that
that's understandable. But we're all apart of the American dream, the all
part of the American vision. Youknow how black voters feel. You got
a new wave of voters coming acrossthe border that seem to be more important
(08:39):
than we are. And we're alreadybeing kicked to the curb. We're being
replaced by a new shinier object thatmay get you further. So you know
what, you already think. Youhave us in the bank, so no
need to try. I don't agreewith everything about President Trump. I don't
agree with the high you're saying everythingthat anybody does. However, I'm not
(09:03):
voting based off of personal feelings.I'm voting based off personal experience. I've
experienced Trump as president. I've experiencedJoe Biden as president, and I like
the way I like Trump as presidentmore. Okay, he's a rapper in
Detroit, by the way, ohjaed, it's all black people are.
No, there's not all black peopleare rappers. Settle down. It's actually
what he does. It's his jam, his name. I'm gonna screw it
(09:26):
up and please my whiteness is showinghis name is I swear VESO four comes
up? With those names. Doyou go to a rap generator. That's
how post Bolone got his name,to a rap generator. You go to
one of those things that gives youyour name. Maybe we'll do that a
little bit later. But listen towhat he said. I don't agree with
everything, but I've seen I've gota sample size now, had four years
(09:52):
under Trump, of which a yearand a half was COVID was insanity.
We'll talk about that in a littlebit, because Fauci's everywhere going I am
science. And that being said,he's got a sample size under Biden right
now. And the argument is andhe's old, or he's mean, or
he's this, or he's that. It's like, I've got this sample size,
(10:15):
and the sample size says that thefour years under Trump, with inflation
of the way things were going, felt pretty damn good. So I'd like
more of that. Okay, that'sa fair sample size. That's a fair
argument as opposed to he's a meaningdemocracy's dead blah blah blah blah blah,
which is and now it's just they'rethe oldest people in the world. We're
(10:37):

TikTok Tuesday, a lot of otherstuff to get to it is the Chad
Benson Show. You're listening to theChad Benson Show. People have hid under
(13:11):
the guise of wearing a mask forCOVID to commit criminal acts and bill acts.
And I think down the time togo back to the way it was
three COVID where you should not beable to wear a mask at protests and
our subway systems and other places.May Adams along with Governor Hokle will get
to heurnt a second because all ofthese protesters are wearing masks. All of
(13:35):
these protesters are covering up their face. All of these protesters are doing things.
And we're talking about the Palestinian protesters. You know, they're on the
train last week and they're threatening anybodywho's designed it is basically any Jew that's
out there, anybody supports them. They're wearing masks and hiding and for unteen
(13:56):
months you've seen protests after protest andeverybody's wearing a mask. Why is that,
Well, they don't want to becalled out for their insanity. And
other people who have not had theirfaces covered and they got called out for
it, and so they're taking apage for Mantifa and covering their faces.
And we talked about like DC thosemassive protests two weeks ago, even on
(14:20):
into last week which barely got anynews. Right there in front of the
White House, the stuff they weredoing at Lafayette Park, and how many
people are their faces covered? Avast majority of them, which is not
legal in DC, nobody was arrestedfor. And then after what took place
in New York, they said, all right, we've had enough. Why
because they want to identify these people. But you're hiding your face? Why
(14:43):
is that? What are you afraidof? The repercussions see individuals on a
subway being terrorized by individuals in masks. It's a cause for great concern.
We have images of people with masksthat almost cover up their entire face.
It's impossible to find these perpetrators.Yeah, and it's time that we pay
attention. Remember, these people arehere to cause hell and havoc. And
(15:07):
if you're new to the show.God bless you. Thanks for listening.
But I will tell you this rightnow. This neo Marxism that goes on
college campuses, These kids that areginned up and they just don't hate what's
going on in Palestine. That isa portion of it. The reality is
simply they hate the West and everythingthat comes with it, and they want
(15:31):
to do all they can to tryto break the system. But they're afraid
of the repercussions. They don't wantany part of that bunch of clowns.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty three
at Chad Benson's show. Is yourTwitter? Tweet at us text the program
on the Chad Benson Show coming up, We're going to talk about videos.
Why is that there? There seemsto be a sort of rash of videos
(15:54):
that have an exited to make thepresident up here especially frail or mentally confused.
I'm wondering at the White Houses, especially worried about the factor. Yeah,
we and I think you all havecalled this the cheap fakes video,
and that's exactly what they are. They are cheap fakes video. They are
done in bat eight. The wingcritics of the president have a credibility problem
(16:15):
because of the fact checkers have repeatedlycaught them pushing misinformation, disinformation, cheap
fakes, and misinformation. And well, we heard that. We heard that
the first time. KJP phenomenal.I'm kidding. Yeah, some of those
videos, and I've watched some ofthe videos, I don't you know,
when you watch them full context, just like they do with Trump, right,
they don't give you the full contextof video. Everybody's looking to take
(16:37):
a snidbit of something and run withit. We're going to talk about that
because while some of those videos areedited and shown certain things, there are
other videos out there that, quitefrankly, you can do whatever you want
to do and say it's a fakein full context. There's an issue with
Biden. We'll talk about that aswell a lot of other stuff to get
to it, sind you had Bensonchow Son, Chad Benson, Joe in
(18:00):
Dependent Thoughts, Independent Life. Thisis Chad Benson. It's Tuesday. On
Tuesdays we do a little thing calledTikTok Tuesday. Why because well, TikTok's
quite a big thing. I knowif you guys are aware of that.
Except for the Chinese. They're stealingall your information. It spy got us.
Some stuff's interesting, some stuff's wacky, some of it is just well,
(18:22):
it's this. We got a problemin this country, and it's people
not getting married, not putting ringon it, and not having kids.
But conversely, we also have aproblem with a lot of women voting and
they're voting Democrat, they're voting leftist. If you want to fix that problem,
you have to wife these women up, like we have to stopping and
sells and stop stop going up togirls and oh no, girls are all
(18:45):
just bitches. They're all just let'snot even go and ask them out to
pay and put a ring on it. If you want to fix the if
you want to fix the voting problem, that's how you fix it. That
is that how we fix it.That's very interesting because some of what she
said rings a little true, eventhough maybe said in a different way for
(19:07):
a younger generation. Maybe like anybodywho votes leftists, they're single women with
no kids and whatever, and they'redated with life. So if you want
to fix this problem, it's nottrashing women and making them go further away
from the conservative movement. It's likeManning putting a ring on it. Here's
where she's right. Young women, single dog parents, you know I'm talking
(19:33):
about they're super left. We're justtalking about the black vote earlier, you
know, because you've got to breakeverything down. Absolutely, the black vote,
especially amongst the younger black men, very conservative, very conservative. Think
(19:56):
about that for a second thing withwhite young men, high school age boys
more conservative than girls. So someof that rings true. The inceel wackiness
in the horrors of dating right nowalso is a problem in this country.
So but if you're going to fixthis, you got to vote right by
(20:18):
marrying somebody up. Well, partof that is true again, and I'll
tell you why. If you golook at the numbers. Single women overwhelmingly
left, married women center right, married women with children center right. But
it is so yeah, there's aportion of that that's absolutely true. I
(20:40):
don't know if I'd have said itlike that, but she did it for
us. She's all the cursed languageand whatnot. Did your ears hurt?
Now? I didn't think. Soit is a battle of who's a hot
mess when it comes to this presidency. Talking about earlier, James Carvell's like,
I don't think he's going to showup for the debate. I'll bet
my house on it or whatever yousaid, right, and you've got you
(21:03):
know, people coming out. They'refocusing too much on Biden's cognitive abilities.
Dromp screwed up? Is cognitive likethis, it's a hot mess. I
even saw John Stewart last night said, you know, both of these guys
seem to have soup or brain shouldbe paraphrasing, because it was a long,
like five minute segment. What aboutthe videos chat, because that's the
other big thing, the videos. What about those videos out there? So
(21:29):
all kinds of videos out there ofthis president in particular, who seems to
be a hot mess. There seemsto be a sort of rash of the
videos that have been exited to makethe president appear especially frail or mentally confused.
I'm wondering if the White Houses especiallyworried about the factor. Yeah,
we and I think you all havecalled this the cheap fakes video, and
(21:52):
that's exactly what they are. Theyare cheap fakes video. They are done
in bat eight. The wing criticsof the president have a credibility problem because
of the fact checkers have repeatedly caughtthem pushing misinformation, disinformation, cheap fakes,
and misinformation. Okay, first ofall, they're not called cheap fakes
deep fakes, so let's just getthat right. But they are. Some
(22:15):
of them are very cheap. Someof them though, in particularly the ones
a lot of people are talking about, is because like anything with Trump,
with any of these, you know, like the shark thing last week with
Trump, if you listen to itand it's context, okay, it's kind
of an interesting things, it's stillTrump. He goes off script, you
(22:36):
know that with Biden. You knowlast week they tried to show him wandering
off, you know, talk youknow, where's he going in this field
with all these you know leaders atthe G seven. Well, in the
broader context of a video, ifyou were to look at it, he
looks like he was going over totalk to one of the older paratroopers the
(22:57):
other night, the one that everybodyis talking about over the last couple days.
And again this goes back to howold are they too old? It's
this big fundraiser. Biden's standing thereand he looks like he's glitching, and
then Obama comes over and grabs himby the arm and kind of ushers him
(23:18):
off. Puts his arm around him. So some of these videos and context,
Yes, if you look at it, it's a much different thing if
you look at in the entire thing. But there's no doubt the shuffling,
the walking, the way that thingsare, there's no doubt that there's an
issue there. But this is thebattle. We've gone away from policy and
now it's everybody's too damn old tobe president, which I think we can
(23:41):
all agree we could use a littleyounger generation. Tonight, Barack Obama's camp
firing back after widespread claims on theright that he needed to lead President Biden
off stage after Biden appeared to freezeup at the end of a weekend fundraiser
in LA. There are still questionsabout what exactly happened there, but clip
comes just days after the far rightyou selectively edited video to claim that Biden
(24:04):
was wandering off like some dementia patientfrom other world leaders during the G seven.
Yeah, and that's, like Isaid, context. If you watch
the Biden video, whether you withObama, whether you think it's you know,
it's like he was just doing somethingnice or not. It's just not
a good look at a time wheneverybody is already asking certain questions about the
(24:29):
mental capabilities and the health of thepresident. You know, these are things
that we as a nation need toknow as the rest of the world.
This moment came at the end ofthe fundraiser, as the conversation between President
Biden, President Obama Jimmy Kimmel wasending, and President Biden looked out at
the crowd for a few seconds beforewalking off the stage with former President Barack
(24:51):
Obama. Now, there have beenRepublicans and right leaning media outlets who have
used this moment to say that PresidentBiden froze and that he had to be
led off the stage by President Obama. That is something that the White House
and also Obama allies had been pushinga very hard back against since this video
was released. It's understandable, butthis is, like I said, you
(25:15):
know, this is where we've gottento. We're not talking policy, even
talking about immigration, we're talking aboutabortion, we're talking about all of the
stuff. When it comes to theeconomy, We've gotten now to the point
where it's just you're too old andfrail, and the no, you're too
old and you're a convicted felon.I hear no policy it's ripe for the
(25:37):
taking. Trump last week gave agreat interview that the media didn't pick up
on because it wasn't anything they wanttalking about. Hey, look, you
know it's got to be tough drugsituation with Hunter. It's got to be
tough as a family going through somethinglike that. You know, you know,
it was a succinct, real interviewlike that. Trump wins hands down,
(26:03):
But it's you know that ain't goingto be covered. And even when
it comes to to Biden, Isee it now, all the stuff flooded
with these fake videos, and I'mnot saying Biden's all there. You guys
know my feeling. I think he'stoo old. I think he has serious
problems. And I have said itfor a very long time. That doesn't
get better. It doesn't. He'snot going to wake up tomorrow and be
(26:29):
better. The youngest he's ever goingto be is today. So there are
serious issues when it comes to this, and I think we need to have
a serious conversation about. But mostpeople in America are worried about their pocketbook.
Most people in America are worried abouttheir paying their bills, keeping their
(26:52):
lights on, things of that nature. I feel like these two now just
want to battle over the age thing. And that is very important, the
cognitive side of things. Let's bereal. But I feel like a lot
of America is being left behind becausewe're so busy trying to demonize. And
this is the thing that has becomeour politics today. It's about what confirmation
(27:15):
bias, demonizing the other side becausecoming out and saying guess what, let
me tell you what the answer is. Let me tell you your question about
the economy, your question about immigration, your question about this, that's hard.
It's just easier to go that guysucks three two, three, five,
(27:37):
twenty four to twenty three at ChadbentonShow, is your Twitter? Tweet?
At is text the program? Ilove hearing from all of you.
Social media as bad as tobacco forthe youth, and I want to touch
on this because we're going to talkabout this throughout the show today. Yesterday,
Vivic Murphy, who is the SurgeonGeneral, Get a little information about
(27:59):
the Surgeon General talk about later issueda warning the US Surgeon General pushing for
social media apps to carry tobacco stylelabels, warning of the risk to teens
and their mental health. This isthe defining public health challenge of our time.
Social media has emerged as an importantcontributor to that youth mental health crisis.
In a New York Times op edtoday, doctor Vivik Murphy saying teens
(28:22):
who spend more than three hours aday on social media double the risk of
anxiety and depression symptoms. The averagetime spent for that age group is nearly
five hours. Parents don't help either. Let's be one hundred percent honest.
Are you monitoring what your kids aredoing? I'll tell you this right now.
My son's out here visiting me.We're having a great time. I
get up at two in the morningand my stepdaughter and him are best friends.
(28:45):
They're up watching television and playing ontheir TikTok and I was like,
what are you guys doing? Whatare you watching? And you know,
they show me because they're very Ilove the fact that they're kind of very
vanilla, kind of nerdy in thatsense. But I'm engaged. How many
parents are engaged? Now? AmI engaged with everything? Well, you
can't be as a parent. Let'sbe real. But I think parents also
(29:07):
have to take a huge step inthe direction of monitoring their children and what
they're watching. We do that withtelevision. If your kids nine and you
walk in and they're watching the TexasChainsaw massacre, you're probably gonna go,
you know what, Maybe no,but do we know what's going on.
(29:30):
That's why you have to do thebest that you can. But I don't
know what you're going to be ableto do even with this labeling. I
don't know what you're gonna be ableto do because the reality is simply you
could put a label on there, right like we you said, remember the
music. Remember when when Tipper Gorewas out there and she says like,
oh my god, check this out, like all these bad language things,
(29:52):
all these things, and they're gonnaput the warning labels on there. Well,
let's just make kids want it more. It didn't stop kids. So
paying attention as a parent, we'regonna get deeper in this because there are
serious issues, and you look atthe studies, especially amongst young women and
mental health and young men and pornand things of that nature. There are
(30:15):
things that we have to be lookingat and social media. You go back
and start to look at these troubles, especially amongst these kids. Right around
two thousand and six, it startsto take off and to today who three
two, three, five, threeeight, twenty four to twenty three atch
you advents and show to Twitter yourInstagram. We got more of this lot
(30:37):
of other stuff to get to TikTokTuesday like it did. We do the
TikTok stuff cause it's fun. Thatbeing said, you need to know when
enough is enough. Your kids areon social media for how long every day?
That's crazy. Talk a bit aboutthat. Plus the black market of
(30:59):
Legos. This is an interesting story. If you've not heard, there is
a massive black market for Legos, which I did not know about, but
now you're gonna know along with me. We'll talk about that as well.
Roughgreens are uff Greens dot com slashchad vitamins, minerals, probiotics. I

serving up talk radio medium, rareand dripping with irony. It's Chad Beenson.
(32:30):
Look inside the lucrative thuff ring surroundingLego. Definitely a surprise to find
that many lagels. I think itwas over three thousand Lego box the Los
Angeles Police Department in the California HighwayPatrol Organized Retail Crime Task Force investigating first
seven months uncovering an organized operation. If you find them in secondhand stores,
or if you find them being soldon the street, might I want to
(32:52):
think twice before purchasing them? Ahouse full of high priced and collector's items.
Lego still in the box and readyfor re sale, ready for resale.
Legos are big business. They're huge. I'm gonna go to Lego Land
here, I think in next weekmy little niece's birthday. Very excited about
(33:12):
that. And Legos, though,are so massive. I didn't. I
mean, I knew they were, you know, kind of cool. I
mean I don't play with them.I prefer to step on them. But
the amount of theft that goes on, how many Lego boxes, what they
were worth? Hundreds of thousands ofdollars of Legos that people are stealing.
(33:35):
You're like, my god, it'sa Lego. The Los Angeles Police Department
uncovering an organized operation raison break inscome on camera at two hobby shops.
He just knows exactly where to goand what to grab. That's the easiest,
the quickest, and the most valuable. Two people arrested and the California
Highway Patrol Organized Retail Crime Task Forcealso arresting four suspects after recover more than
(34:00):
two hundred thousand dollars in lego merchandisestolen from various retailers across southern California.
What's that look like in prison? What are you in for? Got over?
There's in for murder? What areyou in for? Trafficking millions of
dollars to cocaine? What are youin for? Legos? Excuse me,
(34:25):
legos stole hundreds of thousands of dollarsof legos. I bust into hobby shops.
It's kind of my jam and Istill lego after lego. Nobody can
stop me and the Lego Master. So be careful if you're out there on
the streets, no matter where youare, and you see somebody offering you
(34:46):
legos that seem to be too goodto be true, because they may be
too good to be true something that'snot good. The heat dome, the
dome of high pressure that's really sittingover us. It kind of causes what
we call subsidence, sinking air. It's not going anywhere, at least for
the next five to seven days.Heat advisories in place We're gonna see lots
of records, like dozens of themin the coming days, and that heat
(35:07):
on then slides a little back farthereast, so areas like Tennessee, Nashville,
for example, by the weekend,we'll be seeing records as well,
Raleigh. But until we get therePittsburgh potentially in that five day hot to
stretch on record. Yeah, veryhot out there, be careful drink water.
It's the heat dome. Kids, not a fan of the heat Dome.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
(35:29):
three at Chad Benson Show. Thatis your Twitter. You can tweet at
us. You could text the programalways The Chad Benson Show. Speaking of
hot. Lot of stuff still toget to. Next hour on The Chad
Benson Show that includes more on ViveckMurphy and the warning labels that he would
(35:51):
like to see on social media. We're going to talk a bit about that
bunch of crazy stuff as well asmilitary service. Should they bring back the
draft because there's stuff going on outthere. We like to set the record
straight. We like to break thingsdown for you. We like to keep
it simple. Stupid fall long acrossall of our social media at Chad Benson
(36:14):
Show. Is your ex, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, all of the
other things. It is the ChadBenson Show. This is the Chad Benson
Show, Independent thoughts, independent life, This is Chad Benson. President Biden
(36:55):
getting busy when it comes to immigration, not what you think, and today
will announce a new program that willallow some undocumented spouses and children of US
citizens to apply for lawful permanent residencestatus. Under current laws, these migrants
are already eligible for these protections, but this program would facilitate the process and
(37:15):
keep families together. President Biden's alsoexpected to announce a new action to help
facilitate the process of obtaining work fisasfor recipients of DAKA or Deferred Action for
childhood arrivals. Okay, let's breakit down. First of all, we
know how big of an issue immigrationis in this country. Now this,
I think a lot of people thinkyou'd come here, you live here for
(37:37):
decades, you meet somebody, fallin love, you get married. It's
like, oh, that's it,it's the pathway. It's here. You're
now married to an American citizen, and that's a vast Marrying a US citizen
is not a golden ticket, andmost importantly, doesn't equate to a green
cart. Under these same existing laws, undocumented spouses who wish to adjust their
status are sometimes required to return totheir home country to apply for status,
(38:00):
and they're susceptible to a tenure banfrom returning to the United States. That
is a tough pill to swallow, and I think that's exactly what the Biden
administration is trying to address with thisnew action. Okay, so that seems
like a lot. You fall inlove and you get married and you're like,
oh my god, I love you. You're like, oh, I
love you, and then you goand you get married and they're like,
(38:21):
now you got to go home forten years. How was your honeymoon?
It was ten years separation. Sothis will give some protection the other thing,
and look, blame both sides couldtotally do it. I look the
flood of people coming here, that'sall Biden. I don't care what any
of you guys say out there. It's not Biden. It right, No,
(38:43):
no, no, this is allBiden. Sample size here lands at
Biden's feet, Okay, and thesample size has grown tremendously. But yeah,
kids should be allowed to stay here. I've said that over and over
again. You marry somebody and it'sreal. I got no problem with that.
(39:07):
I don't. It's the other stuff, the floods of people coming here
illegally from all over the world, abusing our system. Both sides have failed
to do anything. And when peoplesay, you know, because I get
to sultimtos al Trump's so it's notsorry, it's not. He didn't get
the wall built. Democrats would neverlet him do it. Here's the thing,
(39:30):
you know where Joe Biden was fori don't know, four plus decades
in the Senate doing nothing when itcame to this, and as president he
rang the dinner bell. So yeah, this is kind of a big deal.
There's no doubt about that when itcomes to helping people get their work
vices. Because I've always been abeliever when it comes to something like doc
(39:52):
and I know a lot of peopleout there aren't. And by the way,
if you think that Trump is gonnaround everybody up and send him home,
this just isn't gonna happen. Okay, it's all talk logistically, it's
constitutionally. I just don't think it'sno. Let's talk though, right,
because that's what you have to doin these things. You talk, you
throw stuff out there. But whenit comes to DACA. I've got friends
(40:16):
and people I've worked with who areDACA recipients and then who've gone on become
United States citizens and who are amazingpeople. And they came here in their
stories as youngsters were incredible. Butwe just can't allow the flood of anybody
(40:37):
and everybody to roll in here.We understand that now, of course we've
always understood that. But some ofit was for business, some of you
know, I mean, there wasa lot of reasons why everybody turned a
blind eye. Well, nobody's turninga blind eye anymore, and it's time
to sort it out. And youcan go and blame Trump and he said
this and then they stopped doing itworking. It isn't it failed the minute
(41:05):
you said it's all Trump's fault. And then you told everybody with your executive
action, hey, don't follow theexecutive action I just put in there.
Oh yeah, So this will bevery interesting to see how this rolls itself
out, uh, and what receptionit gets, because it's still not dealing
with the issue, and the issue, unfortunately, is too lucrative for both
(41:27):
sides to give up. Oh yeah. Meanwhile around the globe, tensions pointing
over on the streets of Jerusalem.Just hours after is Rady, Prime Minister
NETANYAHUO dissolved his war cabinet after twokey members resigned. Where you can see
the protesters A really trying to facedown the police there if I water cannon
trying to disperse the crowd. Butso far the protestas sank tros to Netanyahu's
(41:52):
residence, the political and public countcrycoming as the IDEF says it's beginning a
daily tactical pause, halting operations alonga key highway in Gaza. Yeah,
stop and the protes It's weird becauseso the cabinet wasn't getting along. He's
(42:13):
like, I don't need a cabinet. He's under immense pressure and has been
under a men's pressure for quite awhile to put together over you know,
the last year and a half puttingtogether a cabinet at all. Then after
October seventh, and you've got familymembers who are like you better keep the
fight up, and you better gorescue our family members. You have other
(42:35):
people to say, no, enoughis enough. We need to figure this
out. It is it's He's arock and a hard place, there's no
doubt about that. And I don'teven know where we are at this moment
in this situation, because you know, we're like, don't do this,
but then here's all the stuff. We're never going to abandon you, and
(42:57):
then let's let's let's we're going tonegotiate ourselves over here. It's it's it's
a hell of a situation. It'snasty over there. And then of course
you got college kids over here, and it's apartheid and it's colonialism and it's
evil and it's bad. That's horrible, horrible, I say, just a
bunch of clowns. We're going totalk about some of the clowns coming up
(43:19):
in a little bit because they're worthtalking about, especially when it comes to
the face mask. If you didn'tsee the Governor of New York and the
Mayor of New York talking about theface mask wearing and what we need to
do. You move from Palestine totwo buddies getting together, right, just
hey, hey there, my friend, it's me Led. I would like
(43:40):
to come over and visit you andthey have party and it'd be nice.
And then of course North Korea's KimJong un said it. If you're going
to Kim Jong un for help, things aren't going the way that you think.
And then on tip top of that, you've got skirmishes along the border
(44:05):
right of North Korea and South Korea. We're hungry. That's a you problem.
This is the second time this monththat North Korean soldiers crossed the border
and the South fired at them.South Korea's military explained that many North Korean
soldiers have been spotted installing mines andputting up barricades near the military demarcation line
(44:28):
in the last few weeks. Allof this happening while the Russian leader is
expected to visit North Korea on atwo day trip starting Tuesday. Hack On
Kate Lee, ABC News, SaulI, what do they talk about?
Honestly, can you give me anything? We got nothing. Our military is
(44:51):
just ass kicked. They don't knowwhat's going on because we're not telling them.
Ukrainians are fighting like hell. Allthose damn oligarchs we gave all that
money to, who also gave memoney out of the money we gave them,
Well, that crap they built wasbuilt a cardboard. What do you
guys have that can help and thenI don't know. I just it's such
(45:15):
a weird, bizarre thing. Imean, what are we missing now?
Gee a couple of warlords from Africaand maybe uh, the Itola and you
just have the trifecta of ass hats. I don't think that's very nice.
(45:36):
It's probably racist. No, it'snot. It's honesty. Three two,
three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benzon
Show is your Twitter tweet at hisTEXTA program. I love hearing from every
single one of you. So muchstuff to get to Today. We're gonna
talk AI because McDonald's is phasing outsomething. But there may be a city
(45:57):
that is jumping at AI in aweird way. And it's going to be
interesting to see the way this thingplays itself out, because it's not just
here that is trying AI politicians.Ooh really, And of course around the
globe to around America. It's hotin Beltsville, Maryland, people sweltering inside
(46:20):
their condos, the ac not working. We need air. And in California,
people in Santa Clarita told to stayindoors the air is just too smoky.
This fire in Sonoma County prompting hundredsof people to evacuate. At least
two homes burned, and in NewMexico more than seven thousand people told to
evacuate. Okay, that's a lot. You've got fires in Redosa, which
(46:45):
is New Mexico. You've got firesacross the country. It's that time of
year. It's a time of yearwhere God's like heat dome and smoke and
fire America. You are not pleasingme. So we're gonna it's gonna be
h It's gonna be a hell ofa year. There's no doubt about that
when it comes to the weather andthe nightmare that's going on out there,
(47:07):
because we're feeling it out here.Phoenix. Yesterday was okay, but I'll
tell you what. I hate thewind. And my son's out here visiting
and we hate the wind. Ihate the wind more than I think people
realize, Like, I won't play, I will take the cold, I'll
take the keat all day long.I'll take snow, I'll take rain.
(47:31):
I don't like the wind. Wewere trying to play pick a ball in
the wind and it was like crazy. But it's dry, it's nasty.
That heat dome is packing stuff inand You've got to look. This is
one thing I always tell everybody thistime of year in particular, check on
your neighbor, especially if they're elderlyand you're in a place where it is
(47:52):
ridiculously hot. Are they using theirair conditioning? I remember my great grandmother.
She fell well and the neighbor finallywent and checked on her after not
seeing her for a day or two. We had talked her, but is
not at that time something that didn'thappen. But I'm telling you, guys,
that neighbor a little bit older, right, maybe somebody who's got some
(48:15):
issues physically check on them. Younever know who. You might say three
two, three, five, threeeight, twenty four to twenty three at
Chad Benson Show, it's your Instagram, your Twitter. We've got some of
that stuff coming up, including facemask on subways and in public areas.
We'll talk about that as well.Raycon best herebuds around. Love my Raycon
(48:36):
wear them every single day, goout, workout. And what do I
have Raycons? Why? Because they'reamazing? What is amazing about them?
First of all, the fit ergonomicallycorrect, amazing fit that these new Raycons
have second to none. Right, soft geled tips. Top of that,
you've got the best sound quality. So you've got new design, best sound

(49:04):
We can go on and on withall of this stuff that Raycon's put together.

I save you an extra fifteen percent. That's buy raycon dot Com slash Chad.
(49:27):
Bye Raycon dot com slash Chad forthe everde earbuds from Raycon. Bye
Raycon dot Com slash Chad. Itis the Chadbentson Show. You're listening to
(49:49):
the Chad Benson Show. I wantevery branch of the military to listen to
this video because this is warning.Do not draft me. Please, for
y'all safety, do not draft me. And I'm gonna tell you why.
Y'all safety is involved, because ifI get drafted and I'm kidnapped or catcher
by the enemy, I'm snitching.I'm telling everything, Yes, sir,
what was that? Oh our hotout spot yet, Yes, sir,
(50:14):
we're actually located in a camp twomiles from here. It's not hard to
find at all. It's actually easierif y'all find it on Google Maps.
Oh y'all don't know what that is? Okay, give me your phone.
I'll show you. I'll show y'all. My god, what a punky?
Why is that person on TikTok talkingabout that? Well, because like everything,
news spreads like wildfire. I knowif you guys saw this the other
(50:37):
day. But a couple of thingshappened as they passed this massive military bill
in Congress, whether the US shouldhave a military draft. This report from
the Washington Post just days ago claimingsome and former President Trump's camp specifically are
considering bringing back the draft now.Trump has since called mandatory military service a
(50:58):
ridiculous idea, sharing that the storywas a failed attempt to damage him,
with voters saying he's quote never eventhought of that idea. It has been
more than fifty years since anyone hasbeen drafted into the US military. Currently,
about one point three million people, that is, less than one percent
of the population serves in the armedforces. Yeah, that's not a lot
(51:20):
But why would we want a draftwhen the lottery may end up with somebody
like But yeah, there's about tenof us. We have guns, we
have nukes, everything you could thinkof. We got it. You snitching,
bro, Hell yeah, I'm snitching. I'm not dying for none of
y'all or this country. Bitch.I want to live, even if that
means joining the enemy. I wantmy life. So yeah, yeah,
(51:42):
that's that's why. And this iscaught wildfire on the internet. My wife
came, she goes, can youfact check this for me? I said
absolutely. It says here that they'regoing to do this, this, and
this. No. So here's whathappened on Friday, Right, they passed
a massive bill, including a provisionthat would automatically enrolled young men. It's
always meant tweet eighteen and twenty sixfor selective services. But that is Congress.
(52:08):
Guess what happens. It has togo where to the Senate controlled by
the Democrats, and it is dA three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twentythree at Chad Benson Show. Is your
Twitter? You want to reach outto the Chad Benson Show. Not that
I don't think you should register forselected service, because I think you should.
(52:30):
I'm just saying it caught like wildfirethat over the weekend on the tiktoks
of the world and everything, thatthis is something that was going to happen.
It is not. I'm just hereto tell you that dromming up a
lot of good stuff to get to. Man drives around with the body partner
this car after drunk driving. We'regoing to talk about that. Shark attacks,
(52:51):
are they on the rise? Weneed to discuss. Of course Trump
talked about shark attacks last week. Was he right? He doesn't like the
sharks. Talk about that as well, and a lot of other good stuff
to get to, including that AIthing. We talked about it earlier about
McDonald's trying out AI drive through andhow they tried it out. Didn't go
(53:12):
the way I think they thought itwas going to go. And I don't
know if it's the AI's fault orif it's the fault of humans, which
is always a possibility as well, but they're dumping that. Is that a
win for human beings? Speaking ofhuman beings, maybe we'll talk about the
fact that there is a guy runningfor mayor. I think it's Wyoming or
Montana who said if he wins,he's going to leave everything up to AI.
(53:37):
It's gonna let it make decisions. That might not be the worst thing.
I think taking humans out of certainthings, in certain decisions when emotion
is involved, almost using it asa guide and referee, would it be
the worst thing. Ever. I'mvery much a person who embraces AI.
(53:58):
I know a lot of you area little where do you have it totally
understandable. I'm not saying taking humansout of it altogether. I'm just saying,
maybe we can partner together to makea kindler, gendler, more common
sense based society. It's a ChadBenson Joe such Chad Benson Joe, independent
(54:39):
thoughts, independent life. This isChad Benson. Whole Foods needs a union.
I can't survive this anymore. Thisis like worse than being in Vietnam.
I had to work three hours yesterdayand we only had thirty minutes for
lunch. And I'm a kosher vegan. You know how hard it is to
(55:00):
find a restaurant. These hours arekilling me. And I'm a full time
student majoring in queer knitting and minoringin films from the patriarchy. They made
us watch a Woody Allen movie theother day. I was on suicide Watch
for five hours. Uh that right, there is somebody taking the pissip what
you'd say in England over this youngergeneration. He's not done continue And I
(55:25):
got misgendered again. I was stalkingsomething and someone's like, hi, little
boy, can you help me getsomething? I was like, hello,
I'm a girl. I have abeard and a bulge. They don't offer
any like support for high challenge queerpeople. It's like, and I have
to stalk the bread. I'm gluingintolerant, and they make me stop the
(55:47):
bread. I can't even reach it. I'm intolerant. And it's like,
I know my manager's doing it onpurpose because he's a sis, straightweight male.
He kind of hits it out ofthe park with some of this younger
generation. Let's let's not for dandy, doesn't continue because it's just well,
it's funny. They don't even giveus a break. I tried taking a
(56:09):
nap with my weighted blanket in theshampoo island. They're like, you can't
do that. I feel like aslave child on Epstein's Island when I'm here
and I have anxieties they don't evencare about. I suffer from anthropophobia,
which is fear of people, incyclophobia, which is a fear of food,
and I'm run food in people allday. I'll do it. I'll
(56:30):
cut myself. Oh it's a butterknife. Again. That is all parody
for those of you not keeping scoremaking fun of how they need a union
at the Whole Foods because they hadto work three hours. Speaking of unions,
because there's this big rush to pushfor union union. You gotta unionize
everything, right, twenty dollars anhour, Liverpool wage blah blah blah blah
(56:53):
blah. You know, you see, you know Dallas, They're like,
we need a unionized Starbucks. Start. Doesn't it pay for your college and
give you benefits and do all thesekinds. Yeah, but it's not enough.
It's never meant to be enough. It's ever the goal Starbucks less.
You're thinking, I want to becorporate. I want to be a manager,
you know, being a barista, right, because you majored in it,
(57:15):
as that guy put it, queerknitting along with you know, dance,
specializing in the hearing and pair.I mean, it's it's ridiculous.
I'm gonna unionize everything, but sometimesthat Backfire's case in point, oh are
you can't hide? We all seeyou're Cray Sorr. Former employees of OCF
(57:37):
Coffee House rallied outside of the nowclosed Fairmount Cafe on Tuesday. We've been
paid really bad wages and this isjust this was our attempt to get better
wages and like make the place thatwe love better. The coffee shops are
owned by OCF Realty. The realestate brokerage announced the closures to employees in
an email, which included two otherlocations in South Philly. Workers like Alec
(58:00):
Simpson say they were shocked. Iam pretty crushed, especially when it's such
a blatant response to our union process, like this comes a week after we
publicly announced our union. What theyshut it down a week afterwards? What?
Yeah, we need to unionize.Okay, you're upset because you're not
(58:24):
making more money. What is theworth of a barista? Can anybody answer
me that? Like? What shouldyou make? Fifty dollars an hour?
Twenty five bucks an hour? Payme a living wage? Okay, so
I pay you a living wage andby the way, I paid you a
wage that you'd agreed upon at thestart of this and then you didn't like
(58:45):
it, so you wanted more. Now have you gone and made yourself more
valuable to the company? Where ifyou want twenty five bucks an hour,
you're bringing in thirty dollars an hourof services, so I could cover you
your taxes, your insurance and havea little left over. So as that
(59:06):
happened? Or is it just ademand? And by the way, if
you watch the video, it iseverything you think a bunch of baristas would
be. Once again, Chad herestereotyping correctly. Workers say they made anywhere
from nine to thirteen dollars an hour, along with fluctuating tips. Former employees
say they attempted to bring their concernsto management. OCF Realty president or Phi
(59:30):
Busch told us over the phone heheld meetings on Monday to hear from workers,
but very few attended. No oneshowed, so those conversations have not
been able to happen. We've unilaterallyextended health vision and dental for every staff
member for three months. He ownsa chunk of the city, so we're
just very confused as to why hecouldn't pay us a couple more dollars an
(59:50):
hour. Phi Busch says the coffeeshops already operated at a loss, and
he's not against workers unionizing. Instead, it's the cost of legal services that
come along with the union that addedto the decision to close. My decision
that is as difficult as that. One is never simplistic with you know this
happened, or that you had anorganization that was already at its limit.
(01:00:13):
It did not have the capacity tocontinue to burn in additional cost. I
don't have a problem with that.At some point in time, my job
as a business owner is not tolose money so I can employ you and
make my life more hell. Atsome point in time it becomes too much.
(01:00:40):
But I go back to this thisand I'll and I'll tell you.
You know, whether it's California andthis demanding of twenty dollars an hour,
you know where they they're they're arbitrarilyforcing fast food places, unless, of
course you have a fresh bakery. What was that all about? You know,
(01:01:01):
twenty bucks an hour? Yeah, but are you bringing in twenty dollars
an hour in service? Are you? I watched a guy the other day
I should have saved it. Hehas like a dairy queen, and he
breaks down what it cost for himto operate and the profit after taxes of
(01:01:22):
what he makes, and you'd besurprised. It's not a lot. It's
not. And with the rising costof food, it's less, but labor
eats it all up. Now AIis coming. We know that McDonald's has
tried it. It didn't work.I think the way they thought it was
going to work. If you frequentone of the more than one hundred McDonald's
(01:01:45):
locations that have used artificial intelligence atthe drive through, get ready to talk
to a human again. The GoldenArches are calling it quits on a partnership
with IBM, which since twenty twentyone has integrated AI chatbots into drive through
ordering. The company's Hey, thetechnology will be phased out by July twenty
sixth. Neither firm provided a reasonfor the split. The last AI orders
(01:02:07):
will be taken July twenty sixth.Uh it's coming. I mean even now,
it's that you go in and you'vegot the push things right, you
can order stuff yourself, you cando all. It is coming because people,
It's not even just about the savingwages, which is a huge part,
(01:02:27):
but I think people forget that managingpeople is also especially his younger generation
at times where you're getting your firststart in the world is a pain in
the ass. So yeah, frustration. Indeed, Now I didn't go to
(01:02:49):
any of the AI. I wishI would have. I want to see
what that was like because they're gettingso good. But I don't know was
it people that screwed it up?Was it the AI itself? Because AI
is still I mean, in somecases it's not ready for primetime. It's
just not and it still makes thingsup, so I don't know, you're
gonna have to have people still therein working it, which is important.
(01:03:15):
And then the other part of it, you know, like Chick fil A
is getting lambasted because they have thisday camp. It's like thirty five bucks.
You go to this Chick fil Aday camp, right, and everybody's
all, this is child labor, this is awful, this is bad,
and it's it's interesting because I wasreading about it and I thought to myself,
(01:03:42):
it's really kind of intriguing. Sowhat is it You get to go
to this day camp it's thirty fivebucks and for people it's controversial. Kids
summer camp Yay child labor. That'son the Today Show. Social users are
split on their thoughts about the Chickfil A daycamp in the Louisiana program and
(01:04:09):
I saw Micro talk about it,but we've talked about it for years on
our Little Dog and Pony Show. One of the great things about this thing,
it's soft skills. It's human skills. One of the reasons that people
are frustrated and looking elsewhere from AIacross the Board and other things is because
we lack soft skills. We lackhuman skills. Kids come out today and
(01:04:31):
we're talking earlier about the largest finein air flight plane travel history because why
because we've lost the ability to actaround human beings. Alcohol sometimes plays a
part in it. But this thingis not controversial at all. In fact,
(01:04:56):
I find it refreshing. So whatis it? Thirty five bucks and
you go and you basically spend timewith Chick fil A cow, which is
always fun. Team leaders get behindthe scenes look at hospitality and service,
have a fun time getting behind thescenes view of what it's like to work
in America's favorite quick serve restaurant.Enjoy a VIP lunch, going with goodies.
(01:05:19):
That's it. Why would they wantto do. I think it'd be
kind of neat. I'd sign mykids up for it because it's getting them
out of their comfort zone and aroundother kids. And of course there's a
bunch of people that's it's wrong,it's crazy, it's evil. They should
be learning how to read and toplay music and to what never leave their
(01:05:43):
house. If this wasn't a Christiancompany, say a local McDonald's, would
you all be over the moon forpaying for the exploitation of your child?
The hell are you talking about?Like it's an amazing thing. Your kids
not working there. It's not likeI'm gonna drop you off. They're gonna
(01:06:04):
chain you up to the fry machineand I'll pick you up in a few
hours. No, you get itbehind the scenes. Look what goes on,
how the thing moves right going out, and it's it's it just any
you got a free damn lunch.I'd sign myself up. Stuffs so expensive
(01:06:24):
nowadays, the kids were all signingup for it. Three two, three,
five, three eight, twenty fourtwenty three Atchad Benson show to Twitter
your Instagram. I just love lookingat the comments. Making kids learning fast
food instead of reading, crafting, and playing music, discovering nature, sports
and so many wonderful things. It'sone effing day, you clown. Corporations
(01:06:46):
taking over education of children is very, very dystoping. It reminds me of
the movie Idiocracy. We're already thereand corporations have nothing to do the way
you think see unions. It's justamazing. And the entire they act like
you're dropping your kid off at fivepoint thirty in the morning. They don't
(01:07:13):
let them leave. It's a threehour program or whatever. Oh Chad,
it's just as dangerous gonna hang outwith a cow so stupid. Oh my
god, three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show. It's your Twitter. It's awesome. It's
(01:07:36):
not the first time the chain ishosted a summer camp. A Houston area
Chick fil A started a a summercamp and still going by the way,
and it sells out quickly. Justto let you guys know, but it's
free. It's not free labor. They're not doing anything. They're just getting
(01:07:57):
a behind the scenes look. That'sit. Nothing else. They're not doing
anything else. Just want to leteverybody know that I know that everybody thinks
they're getting some weird thing. Likeif you were to take your kid and
drop them off at a movie studioto get it behind the scenes look,
and it costs thirty five bucks andthey got a shirt, what would you
(01:08:17):
say then, Well, they'd befine, of course. But this is
different. Why why is it different? It's not different. They're not working.
It's not like you're sitting there workingthe milkshake machine all day, which
you might want it. It's justgetting a feel of what people are doing,
interacting with other children and adults. Not a bad thing in today's world.
(01:08:39):

(01:09:56):
to this. Say, far thisyear, Americans have been infected with bird
flu. You can count them, though on one hand. The number of
positive cases three farm workers who likelygot it from cattle that they worked with.
All of them had mild symptoms andrecovered, and it didn't appear that
any of them spread this virus toother people. That's one reason why the
CDC says the current risk to thepublic is low and at this time there
(01:10:19):
is no evidence that bird flu isspreading from person to person? Will I
have to wear a mask? Andwill this really pick up right around October
November voting time chat. I'm notsaying that because you guys know this,
you listen to the show. Igot to see all the evidence. I'm
joking about that. I'm kidding goingwith the conspiracy wackadoos out there, and
(01:10:40):
there's plenty of let me know whoyou are, but the bird flu,
you know. And we talked aboutthis, and we're going to get into
a little bit more because Fauci's out. I don't know, but he's must
be selling hawk in a book orsomething on all the talk shows and defending
himself. And of course the mediawho fawned over him is trying to cover
their ass by giving him opportunities.Go see he was right, he was
(01:11:02):
right, He was absolutely right. It can spread from animal to human and
blah blah blah blah blah. Yeah, nobody doubts that. We get that.
We're just asking questions, is thisa threat to mankind? There's been
a lot of discussion about the theoreticalrisk of a human outbreak of bird flu,
including from a former CDC director, but right now the CDC says the
risk to the public is low.So here's everything that we know right now.
(01:11:25):
The most immediate threat from bird flunaturally is to birds. Nearly one
hundred million poultry have been affected acrossthe country. But this is also impacting
cows. There's been one hundred andone dairy herds affected in twelve different states,
with Michigan, Minnesota, and Iowaas the hotspots right now. So
cows and I don't think it ittransfers to milk, but so be prepared.
(01:11:50):
Can it jump from cow to humanto bird back to cow. I
don't know. I don't know it'spossible. What kind of mass don't have
to wear? I don't know.Again, I'm unaware of this. Three
two, three, five, threeeight, twenty four, twenty three at

we need to put some sort ofwarning on there like we did with music,

and with the Surgeon General saying, just like we do with cigarettes.
That's a tough thing, man, because the addiction is very, very real
and if you if you could getcancer from it, we'd be in a
lot of trouble. But what wedo get is anxiety and depressed kids,
and we need to talk about that. You can always reach out to us
(01:12:58):
across all the social media. Yesyou've missed any show, make sure the
podcast. It's Chad Benson Show. This is the Chad Benson Show, Independent
(01:13:29):
Thoughts, Independent Life. This isChad Benson. Immigration, Nation Biden doing
big things. Shut the porter down. No, no, no, no,
just trying to figure out how tokeep as many people here as possible.
The President is announcing two major newimmigration policies. The first executive action,
it could protect up to half amillion undocumented immigrants from being deported.
(01:13:53):
Now, these are people who aremarried to US citizens, They've been in
this country for at least ten years, and under this new policy, they
can apply to legally live and workin this country without having to leave the
US first and risk separation from theirfamilies for years. Okay, Well,
isn't isn't it like if you comehere and you marriage somebody, you hit
(01:14:13):
it out the park. You can't. Well, let's settle down here.
I want to point some stuff outto you. It is now what you
think it is. Marrying a UScitizen is not gold ticket and most importantly,
doesn't equate to a green cart.Under these same existing laws, undocumented
spouses who wish to adjust their statusare sometimes required to return to their home
country to apply for status, andthey're susceptible to a ten year ban from
(01:14:34):
returning to the United States. Thatis a tough pill to swallow, and
I think that's exactly what the bidAn administration is trying to address with this
new action. Well, okay,okay, I think it's a it's a
fair thing. I think if you'remarried, and look, I want to
put this out of everybody's mind. The thought of getting rid of everybody that's
(01:14:58):
here illegally, it isn't going tohappen. They're not deporting everybody. Isn't
just this massive round up. That'sall rhetoric can talk. So settle down
with that. That being said,we do need to streamline the process.
And if you've been here for along time and you married somebody. Yeah,
I mean, well, how dowe know that they're not marrying for
(01:15:20):
that person? If you've been marriedfor five years? Were you hoping for
this? But will this push peopleto go get married asap? That's a
fair question to ask. It's notthe only thing he's doing. So now
he's stopping the porter stuff. Sonow he's going to build the wall.
So now he's going to stop peoplesettle down. That isn't happening. A
second executive action from the President comingtoday. This is on dreamers. These
(01:15:44):
are undocumented immigrants brought to the USSchildren and they're now adults. This new
policy makes it easier for them toget work visas if they have a college
degree and a high skilled job offer. Okay, I'm fair with that.
I've always said when it comes tothe dreamers side of stuff, because I've
got friends here, people I usedto work with, people I still work
with that are dreamers that it camehere and it listening to how they got
(01:16:13):
here as children, not knowing wherethey were going. I have a five
year old, and I remind everybodyI have fifteen year old, fourteen year
old, thirteen year old, anda five year old, my children,
my kids, I love them todeath. If the Golden Goose was on
the other side and I was livingin slop and I needed to get somewhere,
(01:16:38):
I'm gonna do anything to do thatto give my kids a future and
an opportunity. One are mind peoplethat most of you who do the same
damn thing. Like if I broughtmy five year old with me, we
tracked across hell and high water toget here. She doesn't know what's going
(01:17:01):
on. She's just following dad,and she gets here, and she lives
here, and she grows up here. And the opportunities that are afforded this
country because of who we are. It's great. She doesn't know anything,
(01:17:21):
but what would be this country andthis country is help feed her, feed
her mind, educate her. Allof the things I don't want to get
rid of that I don't So there'sa lot that goes into it. But
(01:17:45):
I've never been one of these peoplethat, oh, we need to throw
all the DOCCA kids out. Wasn'tthere issue mom and dad escaping something?
And when they did this, Let'snot forget when DAKA first came about and
Obama, who said he couldn't doanything then he did do something. When
that happened, we weren't in themess that we're in now, and that
(01:18:06):
is a reality. It was weren'ta hot freaking mess at this point in
time. See the likes of Biden. Donald Trump has been slamming President Biden,
blaming him for the border crisis, often using violent and derogatory language to
describe immigrants. With the election looming, the president here he is trying to
show that he is tough on theborder. Just weeks ago he announced those
(01:18:29):
tough asylum restrictions, but with thisannouncement today, he's also trying to show
compassion in this new move. Itcould also boost a standing with those progressive
Democrats who were outraged over those recentasylum restrictions, which are gonna die in
the courts, and that's why youoverdo it. But here's the thing,
who is this for? Honestly, you know the old saying you try to
(01:18:50):
please everybody, you please nobody.Well, this is what he's doing.
It's like the same thing he doeswith Israel. It's like we're going to
continue to give him weapons and we'renot going anywhere. At the same time,
we're going to build a twelve bizilliondollar pier that sinks every five minutes
and none of the food gets towhere it needs to go. This isn't
pleasing anybody. It isn't And andyou saying I'm doing an executive action.
(01:19:15):
And then at the same time aseverybody found out, you tell everybody in
the busiest place San Diego at thismoment in time that hey, businesses of
usual, release people, catch andrelease, catch and release, keep them
coming through, keep them coming through, keep them coming through. What's the
use of having the executive order ifyou're not going to enforce an even he
(01:19:40):
rang the dinner bell, this messis on him trap. That's violent rhetoric.
Things about people that come here.Yeah, there's some people here that
are bad people. I hate tobreak it to you. I know you
want to chink everybody comes here asjust ruffy and nice. That's not true.
It's not some people to come herethat are bad people. There were
(01:20:02):
bad people where they were, andthey're bad people here. That's the reality
of it. And this is goingto be a big issue going forward.
And I'm curious as to what thislooks like because one of the things that
(01:20:26):
Trump is doing is saying, hey, look, they don't care about you.
Democrats don't care damn thing about you. You guys, you know what,
you don't get it. They're notpaying any attention to you, Black
America. They're not paying a damnbit of attention to you because they've got
(01:20:46):
a new shinier object that is givingthem the opportunity to potentially get more voters
down the road. What. Yeah, And so when it comes to say
what's going on right now with blackvoters, it's evident that there's some issues
(01:21:08):
out there, and yeah, immigrationis one of them. I keep looking
for signs that this is going togo back to normal, and I don't
see it yet in the polling ofanything. Right now, we're careening towards
a historic performance for Republican presidential candidate, the likes of which we have not
seen in six decade. Joe Bidenis truly struggling among black voters. All
right, So this is black votersBiden versus Trump margin. Look at Black
(01:21:31):
voters age fifty and older and you'llsee it. Look, Joe Biden one
was leading amongst this group at thispoint by eighty three points back in twenty
twenty. Now it's seventy four pointsso yeah, a slight decline in that
margin, A slight decline in thatmargin, a slight decline. But black
men who are fighting for jobs againstpeople that have come here in many cases
(01:21:54):
illegally. And if you go andlook at the numbers, and Trump got
fact checked for this the other dayabout jobs, he said, most of
the jobs that have been creative havegone to illegal aliens. That's not true,
but there has been a lot thathave. But a vast majority of
the jobs have gone to people thatare here a illegally or b are resident
(01:22:15):
aliens that are getting a lot ofthese jobs. And they're taking a lot
of these jobs. So your competitionin many cases is against people have in
some cases that have come here illegally, and they look at the border and
they're saying this up, you're takingcare of other people first. Why because
they potentially are a bigger voter block. And because of that, and you
already think you have us in thebag, you pay no attention to us.
Look at black voters under the ageof fifty. Holy cow, folks,
(01:22:39):
holy col look at us. JoeBiden was up by eighty points among
this group back at this point intwenty twenty look at where that margin has
careem down towards it's now just getthis, thirty seven points. That lead
has dropped by more than have Ijust never seen anything like this. I'm
like speechless because you always look athistory and you go, okay, this
(01:23:00):
is a historic moment. If thispolling is anywhere near correct, we are
looking at an historic moment right now. We're black voters under the age of
fifty, which have historically been sucha big part of the Democratic coalition,
are leaving it in droves. Yeah, because they're not happy. They look
back some six decades, seven decades, and say, what have you done
for us? What have you donefor us since quote unquote the Civil rights
(01:23:24):
movement? What have you done? It's become a hot mess and must joke
about the Democratic plantation, and wecan go on and on about the failures.
And by the way, the Republicanshave failed big time. You know
what the Republicans' biggest failure is whenit comes to quote unquote black America.
Again, it's just America of ablack America. You gave up, you
gave up, and that is thebiggest shame on you period. You gave
(01:23:47):
up, you gave up. Youdecided that our message is here. You
can come to it if you likeit. But the Democrats don't do anything
for you. You never extended theolive branch. You never went You never
did the things that you should havedone, even if it wasn't in your
(01:24:09):
district. You gave up. Andthen the Democrats just said, ah,
they suck and they hate you,and they only care about white people,
and lo and behold, you wereabandoned. And that's crap. It's been
a failure across the board. Andnow seven decades later since the civil rights
(01:24:30):
movement, they look up and they'resaying to themselves, Ay, sixty plus
years, what have we got forit? You take our vote for granted,
you tell us certain things, youdisappear, and you only come back
when you need something from us.And now that you've got a new shinier
object in people coming here from differentcountries that you can say, hey,
(01:24:50):
look we're going to take care ofyou and do all these things, and
you're a bigger voting block, youget pushed to the side. No,
this is a real issue, andthe Democrats are finding that out. It's
gonna change now, They'll they'll comeback be careful. You've already taken them
for granted for too long, muchas the Republicans. And you can say
what you want about Trump, buthe's paying attention three two three, five,

will? And again, immigration isa massive story. Talk a little bit
about that as well. On topof that, more on the social media
situation. Vivic Murphy, who isthe surge at General, came out and

labels really aren't going to do anythingto kids. What you need is some

forever. It's a Chad Benson Show, Sun Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts,
(01:31:18):
Independent Light. This is Chad Benson. Did he glitch? Did he
not glitch? Questions are being asked, what's happening out there with the president.
A lot of videos out there. How real are they or aren't they?
There seems to be a sort ofrash of the videos that have been
exited to make the President appear especiallyfrail or inventally confused. I'm wondering if
(01:31:44):
the White Houses especially worried about thefactor. Yeah, and I think you
all have called this the cheap fakesvideo, and that's exactly what they are.
They are cheap fakes video. Theyare done in bat eight. The
wing critics of the president have acredibility problem because of the fact checkers have
repeatedly caught them pushing misinformation, disinformation, cheap fakes, and misinformation. Okay,
(01:32:05):
that's a lot to unpack there withher cheap white fakes. Right,
fakes, they're deep fakes, bythe way. And I'm going to tell
you guys this and some of youout there who love to just absolutely jump
all over Biden and he does aright, there's a lot of stuff there
you should question, uh. Andthere's no doubt in my mind that he
(01:32:28):
has got some serious issues. Andfor those people out there who are covering
it up because they hate Trump, then they want to make it all about
Trump. Sorry, I mean theeyeball test. It's very real. But
some of the videos they're not doctored. They're shown to a certain point,
they're shown from a different angle,so that is not fair. But then
(01:32:55):
there are other issues, and thebig one they're bringing up, it's the
whole thing about Obama. There weretwo since in recent days where leaders formed
President Obama and George Maloney early theyphysically put hands on the president to guide
him and show give stage directions. Are they doing that on their own or
has anybody asked them to look I'drun the show like that. First of
all, President Obama, he said, this did not happen in the sense
(01:33:15):
of what people were saying they wereseeing right, or what was being falsely
reported that they were seeing. Yousaw the President put his hand behind on
the back of the President Biden andthey walked off the stage at an event
taking questions from Jimmy Kimmel, Okay, the look wasn't good. We recognize
that he's got some issues. AndCharlott Mane the God said the other day
(01:33:40):
he looked like he was glitching. We recognize he's older, and yes,
you know what, Trump's older too. That they have slip ups. They
do. The difference between Trump andBiden, And if you're new to the
show, let me tell you, like a lot of the policies of Trump,
the chaos, I can do withthat. I think most people look
at that. Here's the difference.Trump is in front of a camera and
(01:34:04):
on stage and talking NonStop all thetime. Biden, everything is protected and
selected, everything is choreographed, everythingis done in such a way. Could
you see Biden doing a two hourany kind of two hour event where he's
(01:34:28):
on stage and at the mic foreighty five to ninety percent of the time.
You can't. You can't do it. And by the way, the
leaders at the G seven weren't justsaying that they had to guide him or
this, and that there were peoplethat were genuinely concerned about his will be
So there's a lot more that goesinto it than just whether or not these
(01:34:51):
things have been altered doctor What didshe call them cheap fanks? What are
their deep fakes? There's a lotmore than just that, And I think
we need to be honest and we'renot because we've got a disingenuous media whose
whole goal is just to get ridof Trump. But I have news for
you, disingenuous media. If yougot rid of Trump today, I'm fine
(01:35:14):
like as policies, like I said, but if he went away as far
as the entertainment value, the thingsthat I do, I had stuff talk
about all day. Do you becauseI don't think you do. You're not
talking policy. I know that.So what do you do at that point?
Schools? Should they or should theyhave a ban on phones? Interesting?
(01:35:38):
What's going on in California? Aand a different kind of band,
not just a band of like youcan have your phone at this time,
look a band band. If youhave kids in grade school, you know
it's the great parent debate on ifand when a child should get a phone.
Plenty of kids have them, evenin lower grades, and they're looking
at them all of the time.Today, LAUSD, which serves about a
half a million students, will decideon a pot ban on cell phones during
(01:36:01):
the school day to keep kids moreengaged, help their mental health, and
prevent bullying. The board will takea vote that would ban their use even
during recess and lunch. I ama big proponent of that. I have
no problem to that. I thinkkids are too attached to their phones.
It's nice to be able to geta hold of your parents and stuff and
(01:36:24):
whatnot. You could do that afterschool when you need to. Now I'm
fifty three, I didn't have thatluxury. Dad said be here, you're
there. Mom said be there, you're there. And if something happened,
well, they'd have to figure thatout. Word of mouth. Do you
see like carry your pitcheon whatever itwas. But the mental house side of
(01:36:45):
it is a big deal. Yesterdayyou had Vivic Murphy, who is the
Surgeon General, come out and say, hey, this can't happen anymore.
We need to figure something out withsocial media, and we just don't know
what that is. Here's the problem. Parenting is the number one thing to
do when it comes to social media. That has to be the number one
(01:37:06):
thing. Having an idea of whatis happening in your child's life, what
they're watching, what they're consuming.When I was a kid, and look,
you're not gonna be able to getit all. Let's be honest,
it ain't gonna happen. This isnever gonna happen. But as a parent,
(01:37:29):
you've got to be somewhat engaged.I woke up this morning, as
I do I get up early, get about one forty five two o'clock,
depending on the day, what Ihave to do, and my son's out
visiting. Stepdaughter and him are bestfriends. They're up. Both one's fourteen,
my son, the other one's thirteen, and they're watching the TikTok and
they're laughing, and what are youguys laughing at? What are you watching?
(01:37:55):
Because I want to go through itall now. I know I'm not
gonna see everything. I know I'mnot gonna be able to view everything,
but I do want to have anidea. I want them to know that
I am looking and I'm telling themas much as I can that's not the
real world. Most of that isfake. It's okay to laugh at some
(01:38:15):
of that silly stuff, but don'ttake it too serious. I have a
bigger issue with my wife. She'slike, hey, check this, what's
going on here? Check this?So conspiracy lady. So I'm just putting
that out there. I think itis a real issue that we need to
deal with this country. But wecan sit here and say we need to
put, like, you know,a warning label on something. And while
(01:38:38):
that okay, I understand what you'retrying to do, that also is the
responsibility of the parent to understand andto give guidance in those situations. Here
is the Surgeon General, Vivic Murphy. Doctor Murphy, your children. You
talk about how they're six and seven, calling for the warning labels. You've
said you won't let them have aphone until high school, and I should
(01:38:59):
say, there are studies out there, the show every single year you can
delay giving your child a phone isa huge gift. This is something that
all of us, you me,all of us parents are grappling with right
now in our lives. And whatI worry about and what I find to
be disheartening as a parent, isthat the entire burden of managing all of
this social media technology more broadly forour children has fallen on their shoulders of
(01:39:20):
parents. But parents aren't doing thatjob. And yes, kids are going
to figure out anything. But here'sa question. You guys, when you
were young like me, there's alot of music we listen to, right,
a lot of music. My mom. I love my mom, but
(01:39:40):
I watched Animal House when I waslike ten years old, like fifty times.
My mother thought it was like apuppet show. She came down,
She's like, oh my god,It's like my favorite movie. Other kids
like I don't like Star Wars, like div you go to see Animal House
is awesome. It's like the greatestthing ever. Okay, I mean you
(01:40:01):
guys should really watch it. Fat, drunk and stupid. There's no way
to go through life, so Iknow, right like that. Yeah,
so yeah, parents can be thereto a certain extent and you have to
guide. But the problem is withkids is they're so far ahead of us
when it comes to everything. Soguiding them you are the most important part
(01:40:25):
of it. Because no matter whatsocial media does to try to put in
any of these these you know, safeguards and warnings, kids are just going
to fly right by it. Despitethe fact that we didn't grow up with
this technology, despite the fact thatyou have some of the most well resourced
companies in the world, with someof the best product engineers in the world
designing these platforms to maximize how muchtime our kids spend on them. So
(01:40:49):
we've got to get help to parents. Here's what I'm planning to do with
my own kids. Number One,I am planning to wait until at least
after middle school for my kids touse social media, and when they're in
high school. My wife and Iwill reassess them based on their maturity,
what the data says about safety, and whether they are safety standards in place.
Okay, that's fair, and Ithink that's good, right, you
(01:41:12):
know, I mean, I thinkit's absolutely a smart thing. But you're
talking about the safety plans, you'retalking about all of those things. Kids,
man, kids. And I wasa proponent of getting my kids technology,
probably earlier than a lot of otherpeople out there, because technology is
not going anywhere less. Of courseAI takes over and we all start living
like the Amish. But the realityof what technology is and isn't doing and
(01:41:35):
able to protect and not protect isI want my kids to be on a
not just a level playing field.I want to give them as much mantaged
as possible. But that also goesto participating, and you've got to do
that. You've got to talk toyour kids. I know it sucks sometimes
you want to engage with the kids, because you know what, my kids
(01:41:56):
they don't always want to engage withme. But there are additional steps a
week and take as well. Ifyour kids are already on social media,
establishing technology free zones in their dayto protect sleep, in person interaction and
physical activity that can look like makingmeal times, tech free, making time,
you know, an hour before bedtimethroughout the night. But the bottom
line, Aeron is is that thisis hard to do alone. And as
(01:42:17):
parents, if we can come together, have each other's backs, and make
a pact that put in place theserules for our families, it's easier for
us. It's also easier for ourkids, who will know will not be
alone in establishing those kind of guardrails. Again, I like what a lot
of what he's saying, but whetherhe wants to believe or not, just
can't be that it's all going tofall on you. And I'm blessed because
(01:42:43):
my kids are in many cases alot like me, where these things have
a shelf life. They may watchit for forty five minutes. But like
yesterday, perfect example, they wereon the TikTok and they were laughing and
they were watching and you know, the goofy's, the skibbity toilets or whatever,
all that wackiness is out there thatthe kids are doing now, these
(01:43:04):
jokes you shore doing nowaday. Butthen they got in the pool and they
swam for like three hours, andthen they went skateboarding, and I think
a lot of that. You know, when we overparent in some ways,
we take away that free parenting likewe used to have. We don't want
to be like the eighties, likewhen I grew up and like Mom's like,
(01:43:24):
all right, you're five, here'sthe key. Come home right,
you relax, you know, makemake yourself some dinner and we'll be home
later. It's like that, No, no, it's not. We don't
want that, but we do wantthem to have an adventure. We've taken
a lot of it away, andso when you take all of that away,
you leave that adventure now to theinternet. So it's that happy medium.
(01:43:45):
But once again, participation of theparents is the most important thing.

it up straight ahead? It's aChat Benson show, a sashtag me too,
(01:45:45):
hashtag immigration reforms, hashtag help,I'm trapped in a hashtag factory and
I can't get out the Chat BensonShow. So far this year, some
Americans have been infected with bird flu. You can count them though on one
hand. The number of positive casesthree form workers who likely got it from
cattle that they worked with. Allof them had mild symptoms and recovered,
and it didn't appear that any ofthem spread this virus to other people.
(01:46:08):
That's one reason why the CDC saysthe current risk to the public is low
and at this time there is noevidence that bird flu is spreading from person
to person. Well, if birdflu was to spread from person to person,
I noticed there's a guy that ison TV on a daily basis,
And yesterday we touched a bit aboutthe fact that there's never been a reckoning
(01:46:29):
with COVID, and there should be. We absolutely need to talk about and
be open and honest about the factthat our leaders failed us. It became
more political than anything ever. Itshould never have gotten to where it was,
and it was awful, and ourkids suffered tremendously, and yes,
people died. We stopped talking scienceand we talked to politics. We did
things we should never have done, and it wasn't good. And besides the
(01:46:50):
fact that it hurt our kids andit became ridiculous, it also caused us
to lose trust in something that wemay need one day because we no longer
believe what they say. And alot of that has to do with this
character. Can talk about this interestingpress briefing that you did. This is
in March of twenty twenty, andyou had to correct the record even if
the president was talking. And firstof all, how challenging is I said
(01:47:15):
to myself, I have a responsibilityto preserve my own personal integrity and a
responsibility to the American public, regardlessof what administration I've been responsible to the
American public when I first came herehalf a century ago, and I'm responsible
to the American public now. Sowhen I walked up to the podium,
(01:47:36):
I said, here it goes, doctor Fauci. The President just said that
hydroxychloric and is the end all,and I'll say, no, I'm really
sorry, but that's anecdotal and there'sno information that it actually works. That
was painful to me to have todo that, but there was no doubt
that I had to do it.He's such a clown and it was an
(01:47:59):
absolute clown along the way, andhe was part of the problem. And
that is not a good place tobe in this country, especially as we
talk about our surgeon general. Now, what brings us to this? And
then I go and spoil it allby saying something stupid? It all take
stupid pills this morning. It's thehonest ones you want to watch out for
because you can never predict they're goingto do something incredibly stupid. Now you're
(01:48:23):
the fat, stupid one with thebig mouth. Is stupid little as you
should never underestimate the predictability of stupiditing. Now it's time for stupid information.
Is that Surgeon General really a surgeonthe first person to hold the title of
(01:48:44):
surgeon General was an American physician,Walter Wyman. Hope you had a good
