Independent thoughts, independent life. Thisis Chad Benson. Man. What a
weekend watching the talking heads run aroundtry to figure out what in God's name
is going on? How do theyfix this? Can it even be fixed?
Meet the Press yesterday started like this. It is yet another extraordinary moment
in the twenty twenty four election cycle, with Democrats in a state of crisis
(00:35):
after President Joe Biden delivered a disastrousdebate performance that fuel voter's top concerns about
his age and ability to serve anotherfour years in office. Not since the
first Nixon Kennedy debate in nineteen sixtyhas a debate had as much potential to
shake up a presidential race. Thismorning, there is widespread panic within the
(00:57):
Democratic Party and questions out whether thepresident should drop out of the ranks.
Yeah, you think this weekend isfamily? Met And I've been saying this
for quite a while. Many ofyou listen know this. Joe Biden doesn't
want to give up the stuff. She loves, the lifestyle, she loves
(01:19):
all the stuff. She loves thestuff, she loves, the power.
She loves all of those things. And for a group of people who run
around screaming and yelling, all thetime about it's about democracy, democracy,
democracy, Well, who's running thecountry, because from what I see,
(01:40):
it is in this guy. I'mnot trying to be mean to this guy.
I wish Joe Biden nothing but thebest. But the reality simply is
this, we are being run bywho A bunch of puppet masters. Come
on, that's not a stretch tothink it's fair to ask the question who's
running the country. So let mesee here. Several months ago he said
(02:02):
he wasn't going to be the nominee. Almost a year ago, I also
said that he has serious issues withhis mental acuity and there is a limited
time. According to my sources, and I've been saying it for a while,
and many of you shot me downinside of the White House, that
(02:24):
he struggles after about four or fiveo'clock at night and he doesn't get going
till about ten lo and behold, that's what you're hearing. The New York
Times came out and said, dude, you need to step down. I'm
paraphrasing. They wouldn't call him dude, but it's a nightmare, and the
(02:44):
Democrats understand that. I think itwas a disaster. I think it was
like maybe the worst bit I've everseen in my entire life. I do
think people feel like that we areconfronting your crisis. There are going to
be discussion, but whether he shouldcontinue. At first it was shocking,
and it was scary, and itwas sad, and by the end it
was absurd. Is the riskiest pathsticking with Joe Biden, or is the
(03:06):
riskiest path saying we want someone else. And anybody who says that that is
not a tough call right now isfull of It's not a tough call for
the country. Mister president, youneed to step down. It's not a
tough call. You care about democracy, well, democracy is important to you,
as like the most important thing, because that's all you do is try
(03:28):
to scare everybody that minute Trump comesin, it's over. It's done,
it's it, it's over. Ifyou care about it, then you need
to step aside. But the realityis is democracy is not going anywhere regardless
of who wins. Fear factor isn'tgoing to work. The fear is he
is a hot mess and everybody knowsit now. George ol Orwell nineteen eighty
(03:52):
four. The quote of quotes theparty told you to reject the evidence of
your eyes and ears. It wasthe final and most essential command. That's
what they're telling you to do.Reject what you saw and heard. This
is an opportunity for Joe Biden togo out there and show he has a
stamina. And by the way, there are healthcare professionals who think that Trump
(04:15):
has dementia, that his connection, his thoughts not go together. Yeah,
that's it. Pivot, blame somebodyelse. Remember these are other people that
said he is sharp, intensely probingand detail oriented and focused. This is
a man who is sharp, whois on top of his game, who
(04:38):
knows what's going on. This guy'stough case, smart case, on his
game. His mental acuity is great. This is a very sharp president.
This is a man that's on hisgate. He's not. And if you
care a lot about the country andmost importantly as a human being, if
you care about him, you're notgoing to allow him to continue because what
(05:01):
he has doesn't get better. Whathe has isn't going to get better.
What is going on in his worldisn't going to get any better. What
is going on is going to getworse, exponentially worse. Now they're gonna
cout Kamala See, this is theproblem too. On the other side of
it, though, they understand thatshe is completely unlikable, that she is
(05:25):
completely a drag on any ticket,But because they played politics when it comes
to identity politics, they're stuck inthis situation where they can't get rid of
her. What are they going todo? Hey, we got the first
black Asian woman as vice president, but we know we can't win with her,
(05:53):
so we're gonna have to take heroff the ticket. But always scream
about is diversity, diversity, diversity. It's diversity. It's diversity, it's
diversity. It's a nightmare. Let'stake a look at some of the post
debate polls. CBS News you Govconducted some polling post debate. We can
compare it to the pre debate numbers, and the bottom line, auls,
(06:15):
it's not any good. It's notany good. Look at this voters who
say that Biden has the mental healthto be president. It was just thirty
five percent pre debate. Look whereit's dropped to now post debate twenty seven
percent. How about that he shouldbe running for president? It was thirty
seven percent pre debate, it's nowtwenty eight percent. I have never seen
numbers this bad for an incumbent presidentduring my lifetime. You haven't, Well,
(06:40):
it's about to get a lot worse. I think every one of us
realizes it's about to get a lotworse. If it's not President Biden,
then who could it be on theDemocratic side? And the truth is,
there are no easy answers. Youknow, I went back and looked at
the polling versus Donald Trump. Fora bunch of different Democrats have been suggested.
Gretchen Whitberg, Gavin Newsom, MalaHarris. They all trail Donald Trump.
(07:02):
So the idea here that we're somehowgoing to get this magic bullet,
that there's somehow going to be someDemocrat who can beat Donald Trump easily,
I just don't see it in thenumbers. That's the other thing. Over
the last couple of days, I'veheard, well, if there bring somebody
else, and who's younger, who'sfresher, who's this that? No,
No, here's there? First ofall, Gavenusom, I'm out in California
(07:24):
right now visiting my family this holidayweek, leaving today, but we came
out to visit my mom. It'sher birthday. I love California. Was
born and raised in California. It'snot what it used to be Texas.
Glorious, glorious, Arizona, beautiful, wonderful California. I mean, we're
(07:45):
sitting here last night looking out overthe ocean because we my was a big
family to do and kind of likeyou get together and you know, we're
on the beach and it's gorgeous andit's like seventy two degrees and it's just
everything. And yet at the sametime, the minute you leave this little
area, pulling into it, homelesspeople everywhere, and you say to yourself,
(08:11):
he's not gonna make it. BecauseCalifornia is a perfect example. And
what I hear from you people outthere who love California so much, who
are Democrats, who always say tome, you know, we're the fourth
largest economy in the world. I'mlike, yeah, we're the fourth largest
economy in the world. When Iwas ten, We've always been that.
It's not like we have the fiftiethlargest economy and all of a sudden were
(08:33):
the second or third or fourth largesteconomy. He didn't do that. Gretchen
Whitmeyer now hard passed Trump leader alive. No, no, he will crush
her. I think jos Shapiro. But here's the thing. Who wants that
gig? Who wants that gig?At this point in time, I don't
(08:54):
think anybody wants that gig. Whywould you want it? You want to
serve fresh and new, So youknow you do if you're the Democrats,
you throw Kamala to the wolves. You say you want it, you got
it, here you go. Maybehe bows out, and I think that's
the other part of it. Ithink there was an opportunity for him to
bow out potentially where it was hisdecision. Now it looks like he's getting
(09:22):
pushed, and what happens when peopleget pushed, they push back, Thank
Launz. Right now, Donald Trumpis two hundred and sixty eight electoral votes
on his side, and Joe Bidenis somewhere in about the two twenties.
But there's still three states that arewithin the margin of era Pennsylvania, Michigan,
and Wisconsin. What this debate isgoing to do is to give Trump
a lead in every one of theswing states, which gives him the presidency.
(09:46):
Yeah going away, by the way, maybe even the popular vote.
He's close in Iowa, which doesn'thappen. And by the way, this
is something Minnesota. He is withinthe margin of air. Do I think
he's gonna win it? No?Do I think? Well the other night
I didn't think he was gonna winit. Do I think he's gonna win
it? Now anything is a possibility. There was still time on the Democratic
(10:11):
side to say thank you, misterpresidents, thank you for all that you've
done, thank you for your legislation, thank you for your leadership. But
we need somebody else as the candidateagainst Donald Trump, because I will say
on the record, if things stayas they are, Donald Trump is the
next president of the United States, and the Democrats have to come to grips
with that. Yeah, we're goingto talk a lot about this because big
(10:37):
Donor weekend, but also a lotof people who are saying, you lied
to us. We went out onrecord and you lied to us. We
went out and said he was fine, and you lied to us. We
went out and said everything was gonnabe a okay. We talked to him
every day, We talked to himat specific time when you wanted us to,
(11:01):
because you knew. On top ofall of that, even some of
his aides are saying we relied toas well. That's a tough thing,
man, I'll tell you that rightnow. Three two three, five,

mean a great story of a ladywho is running for a political position in
Minnesota who got into an argument withher roommate and well to say how she
(11:46):
settled it was creepy and both thatand hilarious be an understatement, and she's
got some interesting things to say. We'll talk about that as well. Three

Supreme Court has just handed down itsdecision on absolute immunity for acts take and
(13:15):
while serving as President of the UnitedStates, ruling that presidents are immune for
core constitutional powers that they have whileserving as president. Former President Trump's legal
team trying to convince the justices thatpresidents need immunity rules. Immunity arguments saw
one of the more astounding hypotheticals posedby Justice Soda Mayor to Trump Attorney John
(13:35):
Sower, regarding a corrupt political rival, he orders the military or orders someone
to assassinate him. Is that withinhis official acts for which he can get
community It would depend on the hypotheticalwhat we can see that could well be
an official he could. The governmentargued what Trump was seeking went well beyond
any immunity laid out in the Constitution. So what does this mean. It
(13:58):
means Trump it has some immunity, because all presents should have some immunity.
It was a six or three decision, and this takes a day or two
to go through. You've got toread it. Most people read zero decisions.
They see what happens. So it'sovers done. No, Actually,
the case goes back to the lowercourt, which means the chances of there
being an actual trial before the electionis basically done and dusted. So what
(14:24):
you've got out of out of AlvinBragg and probably nothing that you're gonna get
out of Georgia, it is itis, this is it. This is
what you've got so there is noimmunity for unofficial acts. So an unofficial
act you get no immunity. Foran official act, you will get some
immunity. So of course there's goingto be blowback. Of course, there's
(14:46):
gonna be people freaking out. Ofcourse, this is the worst thing that's
ever happened in the history of theworld. Of course there's this, that,
and the other. So, butwhat they said, and again,
going through this and I'll read itall later on tonight, because you have
to go through this. These thingsthey're not like here. It's like here
it is. Let's sum it upin two sentence. Uh. So it's
(15:09):
an official act as president if you'reacting on behalf of the presidential office,
yes, you have some immunity. Now, what they're gonna do is they're
gonna send it back down to thejustices, and doing so, they're gonna
say, hey, to the lowercourts, figure out precisely how much to
apply this decision to the Trump case, which means the chances of a trial
(15:31):
are slimmed to none. So,which is not a shocker, because I
never thought those cases were going toget off the ground anyway. Three two,
three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty three at
Chad Benson Shows, your Twitter tweetat as text the program right here on
the Chad Benson Show. So ifyou guys are just tuning in, it
was earlier today Supreme Court cited somewhatwith Trump kicked some of it down to
(15:56):
the lower courts. What does thatmean? It means simply, yes,
presidents have some immunity. How muchimmunity in this case will be decided by
the lower court, but they offerTrump a glimmer of hope of having some
immunity, so we shall see.I know a lot of people are probably
(16:18):
freaking out about this. Some peopleare excited about this. It was the
right thing. I'm surprised the questionhas not been asked earlier, long before
Trump ever got there, which wasshould presidents have a certain amount of community?
And that's what they ruled on,Yes, especially during the office,
(16:41):
doing it for the office of thepresidency, And that's what they're saying.
If you are the president of theUnited States and you're acting on behalf of
the president and the Constitution, youhave immunity. If it's personal, that
is a different story. And sothat's what the lower court is going to
(17:02):
have to figure out. It's alot to go through. I'm not going
to bore you. It's one hundredand nineteen pages, I think, and
I will look through it today andwe'll have more on it tomorrow because there
will be an effect. Obviously, still what happened on Thursday night. It's
a way bigger issue for a lotof people out there because they're not quite
understand this and they don't pay thatmuch attention, and the decision and reading
(17:25):
through it is far more important thanjust going, oh, Trump wins or
loses three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to
twenty three. At Chad Benson Shows, your Twitter, your Instagram, all
of the other things. It's theChad Benson Show, Sun, Chad Benson
Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life. This is Chad dnsit. Everybody's talking
(18:03):
about Joe Biden's debate. Obviously youknew this guy would have an opinion.
Bill Maher did you see the debate? And Cashmista don't worry, so did
one of the contestants. Wow,I mean Trump told lie after lie after
life. He never would have gottenaway with that if Joe Biden was there.
Joe, Joe, come on,man, Joe, you know Joe,
(18:26):
he famously loves trains, but apparentlynot of thought this all night,
confused and halting and trailing off.I've seen beauty patchant contestants answer questions better.
Oh my goodness, it's not verynice, but very honest, continue
sir. And it wasn't just whatcame out of his mouth, you know,
I mean the look on his facethe whole night. It just looked
(18:47):
like somebody just thought he left thestove on. I mean, the last
time seeing Inn, the last timeCNN covered someone this lost. I got
to go back to that Malaysian Airlineplane. Here's the most ironic part.
The Republicans were so afraid it wasgoing to be beating expectations. Remember the
last week, they were like,he's gonna be jacked up, He's gonna
have a secret earpiece in Really, who was on the who was on the
(19:10):
other end of it, Jimmy Carter, Oh my god. There was one
thing. I don't know if you'veseen it on the interwebs, Dana Bash
pointing a couple times, like tellingJoe that's the camera, that's the camera,
look that direction. I don't knowif that's true or not. I
mean, you could take anything fromthe video, but based on what we
saw the other night, absolutely couldbe. And I say all this because
(19:34):
the world has some serious issues rightnow. I think we can all agree.
Case in point, we've got anissue going on and I don't know,
we'll call it Israel Palestine area that'sthrowing has blaw as well, Israel's
foreign minister threatening Iran a day afterthe regime bout to wage an obliterating war
(19:55):
on Israel if it launches an offensiveagainst hesbow Law Israel that's tweeting he has
a response for Iran. Quote,A regime that threatens destruction deserves to be
destroyed. The belligerent rhetoric comes asthe US fears Iran would indeed join Hezbolah
in a future war, likely firinghundreds of missiles to try to overwhelm Israel's
(20:18):
air defense system. So you've gotthat going on with the person who in
many cases is not all there, and that is something that needs to be
talked about. Then yesterday they announced, Hey, all of our military bases
super heighten. Yeah. Two USofficials tell ABC News that troops are now
(20:40):
operating under a force protection level knownas Charlie it's the second highest level of
security for the military, and accordingto the Army, that level suggests that
some kind of terrorist action or targetingof US personnel or facilities is likely.
The development comes as Paris plans tohost the twenty twenty four Summer Olympics in
late July and flirtys Washington. Sowe've got that going on on top of
(21:03):
that. China, Russia, Ukraine, our NATO allies are absolutely worried.
But people want to hold onto powerand they're continuing to gas light you.
Chris Coons yesterday talking about his pollingDemocrat, the polling I've seen after the
debate has actually moved in the directionof Joe Biden. So I do think
(21:27):
it's for Joe Biden to make anydecision about his campaign, his debate,
prep his path forward. Yeah,I mean that was the big thing,
right, Like, well, heover prepped, settled down, He has
a cold settle down, right, settled down. Your eyes and ears did
(21:51):
not deceive you. Why isn't Trumpdropping out? Look, there was no
He may be full of crap, which they all were, by the way.
They love to point out all thelies that Trump says and ignoring all
the lies that Biden said the othernight, because I always want to put
stuff in context for him. Thereality is is both of them are full
(22:11):
of it. Welcome to the worldof politics. Not like Trump rocked it
the other night. He didn't haveto, though the performance was so pissed
poor by Joe Biden. And whoout there is running the show is a
fair question. I think that that'sthe most troubling takeaway from this. I
(22:32):
don't think that you should take awayfrom last night that Joe Biden had a
bad debate. I think what weshould take away is that there is a
person who should be allowed to transitioninto the sunset and be celebrated for what
he's done, and instead there arepeople that frankly, are acting pretty unethically,
acting somewhat diabolically to prop this personup so that they can keep power.
(22:53):
Correct So, one thing that's nottalked about, who's behind everything,
who's pulling the strings in this situation. It's a bunch of people who do
not want to give up any power, who want to hold on for as
long as they can to their power. That who's back there, and that
(23:14):
should be a bigger worrier for allof us unelected officials who are pulling way
more strings than should be pulled.Three two, three, five, three
eight, twenty four to twenty threeat Chad Benson Show, It's your Twitter,
your Instagram, all of the otherthings. Satan Club, the after
school Satan Club met for the firsttime here at Holmes Elementary. This has
(23:34):
controversy brewing throughout the school district andthe community. I let my kids believe
in whatever the hell they want tobelieve in, as long as they're happy
and it's not hurting them or hurtingsomeone else. Christina Longsorts threw her kids
back, got some pencils, andwe got a sticker. New school supplies
from her kids. A new group, the after School Satan Club. Did
your kids have fun today? Oh? Yeah, they had a blast.
(23:56):
They can't wait for the next one. It's sponsored by the Satanic Temple.
The after school program is pomping uparound the nation and in many schools that
also give space to Christian groups. In Ohio there's three Lebanon, Eton and
now Wilmington. We look to Satanas a symbol for standing up to tyrannical
authority. To us, Satan isa symbol. It's like Santa Claus or
(24:18):
the Tooth Fairy. No, Itry to be mean. It is not
like Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy. Let's be honest about the Satan Club.
It's not Now. I am afree speech kind of guy. After
school special after school. You knowspecial clubs have gone on for years,
right, you know the Gay StraightAlliance or you know woodworking, you know
(24:42):
with your I mean they've had allof these things. And yes, they've
had Christian clubs. If it's allabout science and critical thinking, why don't
you call it the science a criticalthinking? Why has it got to be
about Satan Club just out of curiosity? Group? Isn't about conjuring up spells?
Instead? June Everett, the afterSchool Satan Club national director, says,
(25:06):
it's about critical thinking, creative expression, and inclusion. We don't talk
about Satanism, even though we arenon theistic co meaning we don't believe again
in a supernatural Satan. We don'ttalk about it. We don't push it
on the kids. Playing Devil's advocateis Jane Johns. She stands alongside others
that question the Satan Club's motives. But I think most people are frightened by
(25:30):
hearing that, I mean, thatis a little uneasy to take in.
That's a fair question, right,Like the Satan Club. What are you
guys doing go to Satan club? What do you mean we're not conjuring up
stuff? Who sent your kid toSatan Club? We want to be about
inclusion. It's all the stuff Satanwants. Right was that movie Devil's Advocate?
(25:53):
The greatest thing he ever did wastell the world he didn't exist.
Oh. Wellington City Schools released alengthies statement that reads, in part,
the after school Satan Club is nondistrict or school sponsored event and it does
not endorse the activities or the intentof the group or any religious groups.
I understand that we have to haveboth. You know, if you allow
(26:15):
one, you have to allow theother. But you know, with Satanism,
everything's linked to be evil. It'swhat we've been taught. The sticker
was one of many things passed outthe kids in their hoodie bags this afternoon,
and this group will meet once amonth. And then you've got the
other side of it, which isOklahoma saying hey, we're going to teach
(26:37):
the Ten Commandments in school. Sonow there's a battle between and now that's
Oklahoma again, the Bible belt ofBible belt. But the battle is going
to rage now. But Satan clubagain, let's keep all religion out now.
You should teach not religion to believe, but have understand what religions are.
(27:02):
This group over here worships this,This group over here worships that.
I mean, we understand that asa curriculum as part of the learning experience,
explaining who worships and how they worshipand move on. Not this is
what you need to worship. Thatshould be between you and your family.
That's where I am with that. And Oklahoma is saying, hey, you
(27:23):
know what, maybe it's best thatwe just have this taught here. And
that is of course going to bea massive, massive, massive battle.
Oklahoma says it will provide instructions toits school districts on how to implement this
policy in the upcoming school year, but the state superintendent says strict and immediate
compliance is expected. Yeah, sothey're going to teach the Ten Commandments and
(27:48):
whatnot in school. The top educationofficial in Oklahoma directing all schools across the
state to incorporate the Bible and theTen Commandments into the curriculum requirement for grades
five through twelve, effective immediately, every teacher every classroom in the state will
have a Bible in the classroom.Oklahoma's Superintendent Ryan Walters calling the Bible a
(28:11):
necessary historical document to teach our kidsabout the history of this country. The
move coming just days after Louisiana becamethe first state to require all public school
classrooms to display the Ten Commandments. This battle's going to be huge. Texas
and Utah weighing similar laws. Civilliberties groups are already suing Louisiana, arguing
(28:33):
its new law is unconstitutional and violatesthe separation of church and state. That
moved by Oklahoma, they say,is part of a larger trend. If
it was an after school thing, which they already have, I have zero
problems with it. I think mostpeople have zero problems with it. But
it is not. And this iswhere this battle's going to go. Like
(28:56):
I said, making children aware ofall things is a wonderful thing. I'm
a Christian, i am, butit should be taught in school. Nlet's
go and do a Christian school,Catholic school, right, that's the way
it should be. But should theyknow who this is what this group believes.
This is what this g has aspart of his history. Zero problems
(29:18):
with that, I think most people. But this is going to be a
battle that's massive and it's coming forward. So get ready. You got Oklahoma
Louisiana saying we're teaching the Bible, and in Ohio they're like, we got
Satan Club. Scotis last week ruledon, you know, obviously the bigger
one, but Scotis last week ruledon some other stuff, including the homeless
(29:40):
situation, which I think is massive. And we talked about it a little
bit because everything was happening on Fridayso fast. It's a big deal.
So if you didn't know, itwas a Grants Pass thing that said,
hey, you being out here,it's not illegal, sleeping out here,
(30:00):
living your life out here. Yeah, you can't do that. That's not
and and and and we're not requiredto do what to find you a room
and to prepare your life for you. You need to do that on your
own, otherwise you're going to geta ticket. And Supreme Court says,
yeah, that's pretty much right. And Grant's Pass has tried something and they
(30:22):
took him to court. And thisis an Oregon and it went all the
way up and they said, no, Grant's pass has every right to try
something to stem their homeless issues. It clears the way for those that already
have bands in place, and it'llmost likely embode in those that were considering
bands but maybe hesitated to do that. I'm glad you know this bs about
(30:47):
compassion of allowing people basically to dieslowly on the streets and insane conditions,
whether it's in the streets of Phoenix, you know, and at the zone
we've talked about before, it's aone hundred and fifteen and they're sleeping on
the streets or in organ where theshelters you know, can only house so
many, and many of them don'twant any help whatsoever. I got no
(31:08):
problem with that. I think mostpeople are like, you've got to try
something else. It's a big deal. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twentythree. Atch you had Benson shows your

and now surpassing a billion dollars worldwide. The Quiet Place Day one debuts at
number two, the horror flick, earning fifty three million dollars. Plenty of
empty seats at Horizon in American SagaChapter one, The Kevin Costner Western with
(33:19):
a disappointing eleven million dollar debut.Bad Boys Rider Die drops to number four.
The action adventure Kalki twenty eight ninetyeight a d rounds out the top
five massive box office weekend to saythe least billion dollars. Now Inside Out
one billion dollars huge weekend as wellfor Quiet Place showing it has tons of
(33:40):
legs and horizons didn't do that well. I mean that movie is, first
of all, it's like three hourslong. He Love Him, Make Himself
a long movie, Chemic Costner.Remember Whideer Like whide Herb came out at
the same time as Tombstone, likethey weren't too far apart, and Tombstone's
like, here's like a hundred andten minutes of action and fun, and
(34:01):
then Wider It's like, here's threehours of a slow burn slow burn.
Inside Out's massive though one billion dollars, first one this year to hit a
billion dollars. We're gonna go seeit in the next couple of days.
We've got some time off with thekids. We can definitely run out and

At Chat, Benson shows your Twittertweet at his text to program. Some
of you have tweeted and text in. There were issues last week with the
podcast. I'm going to tell youthat right now that should be all taken
care of. Sorry about that.Somebody from the five OHO three. Best
thing the DNC can do is switchover to Kamala, add Hillary Michelle or
America's mother in law Elizabeth Warren asthe vice. That way, it would
(34:42):
go down in history as a twowoman ticket that tried to win the White
House. Totally historic significance. Trump'sgoing to win anyway, but you're gonna
have to pull something way out ofleft field to be able to try and
win the White House because Biden hasto go. That's my humble opinion.
Also a nice, nice thank youappreciate that. Send me some love about
dood to my dog dying a whileback. So tell you what they got
(35:04):
to do something right, pull somethingout of the fire. There is no
doubt about that. Several of thepeople chiming in asking me why I haven't
talked about Trump and his missteps.I have. He's Trump, though,
don't. Here's the thing. Stopmaking excuses. Republicans, don't make excuses
any more for Trump. He iswho he is. Deal with it.
The world didn't come to an end. There is no way though that you

Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent life, This is Chad Benson. What do
(36:52):
you do if you're the Democrats?Well, I know what they're going to
do. Is it the smart thingto do? No? And by democrats
I mean the people who are incharge of what's going on around Biden.
I said last week. If youreally want to dispel these rumors, you
put him out there every single day. You put him out there at different
(37:13):
times, not just the times.Because here's the thing. What God exposed
this weekend is something we've talked abouton the show for a very long time.
He's got about six hours in hima day, five to six,
and you were from ten to eleventill about three or four in the afternoon,
and then he's done. And thestruggle is real. This is a
twenty four to seven, three sixtyfive job. Can't have somebody wandering on
(37:35):
the White House wondering where he's at. It's not very nice. It's honest.
It's honest, and that's what youwant. You want honesty. And
they have lied to us, likeI've been saying, the books they're going
to come out after this are goingto be huge. They've gas lit the
American people. We're going to findout that Jill was pulling a lot more
strings when it comes to him stayingin the race, because they all got
together this weekend. But Joe Scarbosaid something interesting. Here's a guy who
(37:59):
loves Joe Biden because he hates DonaldTrump, but he loves Joe Biden,
right, he loves him. It'sa second Dad do. But he said
something that we should honestly think about. I said it. I've been saying
it for several months now. Thatwas your grandfather, that was your father.
You'd have taken the keys away fromhim. You would have said,
Dad, it's time he brought itup. Finally, I think it's critical
(38:21):
that we ask the same questions aboutthis man I love, respect and who's
public service in saving this country fromDonald Trump over the last three and a
half years, I honor. Ithink we have to ask the same questions
of him that we have asked ofDonald Trump. If he were CEO and
he turned into performance like that, would any corporation in America, any fortune
(38:44):
five hundred corporation in America keep himon a CEO. No, No,
they wouldn't, nor should they. That's the reality of it. They shouldn't
keep him on a CEO because he'spassed the sell by tape. And we
can sit here and this, andI've said this, and I'll continue to
say this. First of all, settle down with the he saved us from
(39:06):
another three and a half years ofDonald Trump. Well, if that's the
way, you really feel you coveringup for him just cost you another four
years with Donald Trump because you didn'trun anybody else out there and take away
the Even if he survives to theelection and he wins, you're not getting
four years of him. I thinkeverybody knows that. You know where you're
(39:28):
getting four years of that guy.I'm not advocating this position, but it's
what the weekend was was Elected's lobbyistsdonors importantly because they're going to fund this
campaign if but goes forward, saying, does our guy, who we've loved
and who we would love to seewin, does he have what it takes
to win? And does he havewhat it takes to govern for four years
all the way to the age ofeighty six, which is what the president's
(39:50):
asking for, is another term thatwill give him four more years in office
where whatever degree of slippage that hehas suffered is going to not get better.
He's he's going to he's going toage further. So there are people
who are on Joe Biden's side coreworried about this, and that's the thing
that the campaign is trying to thecamp are trying to manage now is how
(40:10):
to reassure people who are not fundamentallyhostile to Joe Biden are a iimical to
his interests, but are just concernedabout the stakes in the election that the
Biden can't be talks about all thetime to his egistential stakes. That's really
what's going on here. So whythis discussion is so difficult. It's not
difficult. If you care about Americafirst and foremost, you remove him.
Secondly, if you care about JoeBiden as a human being, you remove
(40:32):
him. It's that simple. Ifthat's your big worry. But it's not.
People are selfish. They care abouttheir own party first, number one
thing. Party first. Get behindeverybody. You need to gaslight the American
people. Tell him how amazing heis, Tell him how again, He's
the sharpest, He's the greatest. It's never been any better. It's still
to this day. I can't believehow incredible he is. I can't believe
(40:55):
he continues to do the things hedoes. Is intensely probing and detail oriented
and focused. This is a manwho is sharp, who is on top
of his game, who knows what'sgoing on. This guy's tough case smart.
His mental acuity is great this isa very sharp president. This is
a man that's on his gate.No, it's not. It's a man
(41:19):
who has lost his way. It'san elderly gentleman, Robert Hurr. Why
didn't they prosecute him because he's anelderly gentleman with a bad memory, and
he would have been easily sympathetic tojurors. It wouldn't have been right.
Remember that. Oh yeah, thisis not about the president. Shouldn't be
should be about the people, andthe people need to know on top of
(41:44):
that, that's a human being.I wouldn't want my husband, my wife,
my father, my mother, dependingon who you are out there embarrassed
like that? Would you? Becauseyou're around him every day. You know
the reality of it. But yourwant and desire for power and to hold
onto the accouterments that come with it. I don't understand that. I do
(42:04):
not understand that at all. Sonow what are they gonna do. Well,
they're gonna roll them out. They'regonna roll them out every single day.
They're gonna put him in front ofthe press. They're gonna get him
out there, you know, everywherethey possibly can they show the world to
ease their mind when in reality andain't gonna help it isn't. I think
we all understand that, and we'regonna see misstep after misstep, so we'll
(42:29):
see, we'll see. I justdon't know how you continue to push him
out there. I just I don'tknow how. I don't just as a
person on a personal level. Becausemy grandfather and my grandmother both started struggling
with dementia and a lot of otherthings that they were struggling with. It
(42:50):
was there was a time when itwas like, it's it's it's about having
some dignity. It's about taking them, putting him in a position where other
people could help them, because itwas so bad, and my grandmother she
you know, it was noticeable,a little bit more noticeable, really noticeable,
(43:12):
and then it took off and youwere like, oh my god,
my grandfather was kind of the itwas a slip in the memory here,
some of the memory there, andyou start chalking it down. It's age.
It happens. Then it's we justwent out to dinner, drop him
off at the house. He getsin his truck, drives away. We
(43:32):
catch up to him. What areyou doing going out to dinner? We
just got back from dinner. That'swhen you know, keys, it's time
let alone them having the the theaccess to the nuclear button. Three two
three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three Atchad Benson show,
to Twitter, your Instagram, allof the other things. Got some
(43:53):
travel stuff and some weather stuff comingup. But what exactly are the polls
saying about this? That's another thingthat you know, you can't hide it.
People's eyes saw what they saw.CBS News, you Gov conducted some
polling post debate. We can compareit to the pre debate numbers, and
(44:15):
the bottom line owls it's not anygood. It's not any good. Look
at this voters who say that Bidenhas the mental health to be president.
It was just thirty five percent predebate. Look where it's dropped to now
post debate, twenty seven percent. How about that he should be running for
president? It was thirty seven percentpre debate, it's now twenty eight percent.
I have never seen numbers this badfor an incumbent president during my lifetime.
(44:40):
Terrific. Those numbers weren't good anyways, I remember five thirty eight.
That's Nate Silver's group had Trump winning. He says it wasn't a you know,
even before the debate, Trump wasn'tjust winning, He's like, he's
going to win. We've done agazillion models, mockups, right, We've
put it through the machine some fortythousand times Trump wins. This that was
(45:05):
pre debate. If it's not PresidentBiden, then who could it be on
the Democratic side? And the truthis, there are no easy answers.
You know. I went back andlooked at the polling versus Donald Trump for
a bunch of different Democrats have beensuggested. Gretchen Whitberg, Gavin Newsom,
Kamala Harris. They all trail DonaldTrump. So the idea here that we're
somehow going to get this magic bullet, that there's somehow going to be some
(45:29):
Democrat who can beat Donald Trump easily. I just don't see it in the
numbers. No, I don't seeit either. But the scary thing is,
and I continue to talk about thisover and over again, is the
power behind the people that are pullingthe strings here. That's something that should
(45:51):
worry every one of us that you'reso willing and what I've said this for
years, it's the party first, right, the person second. Anything that's
left for the people is what weget, and one thing I know is
(46:13):
we're not getting the truth. Threetwo, three, five, three eight,

Short pauses, whether you take afew breaths before entering a room or

Man, It's always good to takea deep breath avoid brain overload.

(49:45):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show. It does find this under our
constitutional structure of separated powers, thenature of presidential power entitles a former president
to absolute immunity for from criminal prosecutionfor action within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional
authority. He is entitled to atleast presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his
(50:07):
official acts. There is no immunityfor unofficial acts. That's the first blush
we've got on this. It isit looks like a six to three split.
We've got the descent by Justice Sodamara, Kagan and Jackson join that there
is a kind of split decision onsome of these. Somebody joins in one
part not in another part. Butthat's the overall holding of the court.
(50:28):
So what it means now, we'llhave to dig into this and see if
they tell us, Now, howdo you decide an official act versus an
unofficial acts, because that's going tobe critical. Having now said, the
president does as an absolute immunity fromcriminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and
preclusive constitution, So what does thatall mean? Simply this, at least
right now, it's going to goback down to the lower course. They
(50:51):
have said that presidents have absolute immunitywhen essentially discharging their powers as the president
of the United States. The lowercourts are going to decide did Donald Trump,
in doing what he did when itcame to the election and all of
the stuff, was that part ofhis power of the presidency or was that
(51:17):
personal? So no person is abovethe law. But at the same time,
when you are president, you willdo things that the average person would
go to jail for because you're makingdecisions that at times are life and death
and things of that nature that nobodyelse would. So is it a win
(51:40):
for Trump? Yes? Is itan absolute win for Trump? Not yet,
because it has to go down tothe lower court, and the lower
court is going to then decide atthat point in time, which of these
in the case that they're looking atin DC applies. Was it personal?
(52:06):
Was it presidential? If it wasdeemed personal, well then that's a different
story. Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four
twenty three at Chad Benson Show,is your Twitter, tweet, ats text
the program on the Chat Benson Show. If it was deemed well part of
(52:30):
his duties, he was doing thisas president of the United States. So
because of that, he has absoluteimmunity from prosecution either way. The January
sixth, as they like to callit, which is really not it,
but it's the DC case. It'sgone at least for now. None of
these things are going to happen beforethe election is over, so just tuning
(52:52):
in it is a partial win.And some people would say it is also
a situation where their kicking it backdown to the lower courts to make the
big decision. Because they didn't makethe big decision. They put the framework
in place of saying, hey, yes, the presidents should have immunity,
(53:12):
which should have been there. Imean, we should have had this figured
out. But the personal side ofit is what people are going to be
looking at. What is the personalaspect of this? Was Trump doing something
illegal or potentially illegal as a personalsituation as opposed to a presidential and his
(53:35):
argument was free in fair elections.I felt there was this. I felt
there was that as the president ofthe United States, I should be protecting
those things, which is a verygood argument to make. So I don't
think it has the effect because Ithink it's mucky and in the weeds.
It's one hundred and nineteen pages aswhat we saw the other night, because
(53:58):
we saw their own eyes and ourown ears of Joe Biden. So I
think that has a bigger effect onon this. But from a personal standpoint,
yeah, I think Trump's got asmile on his face. At A
three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Chad Benson Show's your Twitter. It is the Chad Benson Show, The
Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts,Independent Life. This is Chad Benson,
(54:40):
Caldever, Joe Biden versus Pigdonald Trump. I am concerned. Trump came out
like nothing, like he's hopped upon diet Cokes and quarter pounders with cheese.
Caldaver Joe Biden. I thought hewas going to be on that Lance
Arms tromp. I thought they weregonna have him juiced up. I thought
he was gonna look like Sugar RayLeonard in his time moving and grooving.
He looked like he was comfortably numb. He didn't know what the fuck or
(55:05):
where the fuck he was. DoctorJill Biden at the end ran into the
ring like Adrian at the end ofRocky, checking on him. Michael Rappaport
there by the way. If youdidn't see the Joe Biden clip where afterwards
Trump just turns and walks off stage. Joe comes on stage and she's like
(55:27):
yay, you know, like youdid good. And then they walked down
like four stairs to go say thankyou to Jake Tapper and Dana Bash and
watching him. I know they're cheapfakes, but they looked like real.
That's what I'm saying, because they'renot cheap fakes. You get where I'm
going with this one more from MichaelRappaport. Oh, I tell you one
thing. A lot of people rightnow currently are talking about Biden dropping out
(55:47):
and replacing him with Gavin with theGood Here Newssom, Gavin with the good
here Newsom. I lived in California. I still pay taxes in California.
You ran that place into the ground, San Francis. Just go you and
Kamala Harris. You turned one ofthe most beautiful cities in the world into
dawn of the dead. If Gavinwent the good Ear or Kamala replace him,
(56:10):
I'm openly proudly Donald Trump twenty twentyfour. Man, think about that
for a second, how much hehated Donald Trump. But then realized,
Hey, a lot of what youguys are saying is bs speaking of the
older generation. Here's a new term. I want you guys to learn.
(56:32):
What isn't boom mating? What isa boom mate? Excuse me, what
isn't boom mating. I'm glad youasked. This is what a boom mat
is. When we look at boomates, those are obviously, as you mentioned,
kind of baby boomers who decide torent a room in their home or
apartment to another person now, typically, of course, as a younger person
in a local area seeking we allare seeking affordable housing. Now. Boomers
(56:55):
tend to live, of course,in large home by themselves, and there's
really just little incentive for them tomove out of those homes. For one,
they'd be competing with record housing pricesright now and scarce inventory. When
most lumers tend to have a fixedincome, plus they are typically locked into
a low mortgage rate already, andwho wants to lose that right, It
would just not make sense financially forthem to pick up and leave. Not
(57:17):
to mention, last year, seventyfive percent of the country's housing market was
considered unaffordable. According to Autumn realestate data companies, which is insane,
Like the average family can afford ahouse pretty much anywhere in the country,
let alone in a place like Californiaor New York or or some of you
just can't. It's unaffordable with interestrates in particular, where there are it
(57:42):
is, it is unaffordable. Butyou've got no inventory because if you've got
a two point nine or a threepoint two, you're not giving that up.
And so people are saying, allright, let's merge. We'll make
the odd couple here, We'll bringthe young and old together, which,
as we all know parently, theyounger generation doesn't like boomers, unless,
of course, they needed place tostay. On the flip side of this,
(58:05):
this is why the younger generation cannotafford to buy a home and are
turning to living with boomers in orderto have a place to live. Now.
Internal data from the housing nonprofit FrontPorch Community and Services shows that average
income for a housing provider looking toshare a home with another roommate is just
slightly over forty six thousand, whilethe average housing seeker their income is around
(58:25):
forty thousand dollars, making it kindof this perfect situation for Baby boomers to
rent the room in their house. Now, the trend of boommates is not
relatively new, right, but allowspeople to pool their resources to maintain housing
stability in the midst of what we'redealing with a national affordability a housing crisis.
But money, we're told not theonly driving factor for boomers seeking roommates,
(58:50):
which is interesting. So what they'resaying is, yeah, money is
a good helper. They're on fixedincome. Thanks to that nature, they
don't want to, you know, they could in theory downside, by selling
their house and chances that are theyown it out right, taking that money
to something else, But a lotof times people don't want to give up
their independence as well. Here's somethingelse though, it's good to have somebody
around, especially as you get olderand we're finding out more and more human
(59:12):
contact is important. The folks thatare living at home alone, maybe you
need of some companionship or maybe alittle bit of support around the house,
and bringing in a roommate offers themthe ability to maybe have coffee with someone
in the morning, or ask forsomebody to take out the trash or bring
in the groceries in exchange for reducedrent, which I think is interesting and
I like it. Here's the otherside of it, Like they've said,
(59:34):
look, this is not about somebodywho needs medicals to get, you know,
support twenty four to seven. Thisis for people who are maybe in
their sixties and they're they're rocking androlling. Their life is still good,
but they're empty nesters. Kids aregone, they got grandkids every once in
a while. Maybe their husband's gone, maybe their wive's gone. It's just
(59:58):
them and the opportunity to move ayounger person in have that human contact is
a big deal. So that's oneof the things they pointed out. It's
like, look, this boom maate'sthing is not about you having somebody come
in because you need help twenty fourto seven. It's like having a roommate.
(01:00:20):
One of them happens to be aboomer. So these people are still
functioning, not medically critical. Butthen the question is asked, Hey,
I don't know if you're aware ofthis, the younger generation not a fan
of the older generation. How dareyou? You've ruined my life? And
what we find is that humans arehumans, and that once people meet and
(01:00:42):
they get to know each other andthey get a good sense of who the
other person is and how they liketo communicate their values and the things that
are important to them. We oftensee the most fruitful relationships between an older
person and a younger person. Sometimesexactly in the case where they thought,
maybe this isn't going to work becausewe're going to be too different, they
found that they were a lot moresimilar than they work, which is true,
(01:01:02):
you know, I mean we area lot I say that about our
politics too, We're a lot moresimilar. People don't understand that because all
they see is the extremes. Takethe extremes, throw the extremes out because
the extreams drive us all crazy.Understand that we are so similar in so
many ways. And I don't thinkpeople really have an understanding of how close
(01:01:23):
we are in a vast majority ofthings. And that even goes for the
older generations. We we hammer theolder generation in the younger generation right of
all these things. But we're allmuch closer together in a lot of stuff,
and people don't realize that. Butget ready for it. It's the
boommate's phenomenon. Do dude three two, three, five, three eight,
(01:01:45):
twenty four twenty three at Chad Bensonshows your Twitter tweet at us text to
program. All right, kids,it's fireworks time, so you know what
that means. Stuff's gonna happen andit's going to go wrong. A fiasco
of fireworks in northwest Didiana. Severalpeople are heard in Holmes damaged after an
(01:02:08):
unauthorized fireworks show went bad. Firstof all, I love this a fiasco
of fireworks. This was not justa fiasco. These people were putting on
a fireworks show. Like this wasa fireworks show. They had stuff out
there. I mean it looked likethey had cannons. I mean they were
ready to do it up big.The family is really distraught about this,
(01:02:31):
but also grateful in realizing that theoutcome could have been worse. They tell
me all of their fireworks were storebought and that this is a celebration that
they've put on for decades. Thiswas the moment it happened. The family
didn't want their faces shown, buttell me, I hope they've lived here
one year. Their annual fireworks displayhas been a thirty year tradition. It
(01:02:54):
was just basically a falcy firework. It was nothing that was maliciously done.
It was in an accident. Thesefireworks First of all, I don't know
what store you're going to, becausethis isn't that tent you normally go to,
you know, the one that's outthere. It's like we're raising money
for the boys casts and you're like, what would you like? Would you
(01:03:15):
like firearms? Would you like abazooka? I mean, this is a
These people had the stuff that yousee floating around barges on lakes and in
the ocean, so they're going todo a big firework. This is what
this looked like with the tubes.Again, I have no idea what store
you're going to to buy these, but wow, it was just like a
(01:03:35):
boom and then next thing, youknow, everything just asho. Now like
gonna sucker. The cries and Iassumed it was just the kids got scared
from the sound. One neighbor gaveus this picture of a fireworks tube inside
a bucket. They say the familylaunched an hour before the blast by daylight.
A few houses and multiple vehicles weredamaged. This vehicle's back windows shattered.
(01:04:00):
Another neighbor sharing her reaction, thefamily is very distraught. Nothing malicious
happened. It was something that wasa freak accident. A freak accident.
It was an explosion like you cannotbelieve. I mean the pictures. It
looked like there were drive bys,It looked like it was It looked there
(01:04:24):
were houses, windows, car windowsblown out shrapnel. Every year, right,
every year, there's that thing inyour neighborhood. Because everybody's got that
person in their neighborhood that goes alittle bit too far. It's like,
all right, I took all ofthe me eights and I connected them because
I made several sticks of dynamite.I'm like, I don't think that's a
(01:04:44):
good idea. But there were peopleinjured here. Six people were struck by
debris, including children and adults.Fortunately, four of those gathering were nurses.
The woman I'm speaking to here amedical assistant, all jumping into action
wound care and giving EMTs a headstart. We just wanted to survival.
We secured the premises. We makesure every person will stabilize. Now,
(01:05:10):
the homeowner tells me she's met witha detective as well as a fire marshal.
She says they believe this was anaccident. We're still waiting to confirm
that with fire officials. Police onlycalling this a fireworks metal function. In
terms of those relatives that were injuredseven in total. Many of the injuries
were minor. We do understand thatat least one person is still recovering in
(01:05:31):
the hospital from their injuries. Yeah, and some of you listening will know
this. Maybe some of you've donesome silly things in the past. Somebody's
losing digits in a couple of days. Somebody's hanging out today having a good
time, get excited for the fireworks. That uncle that had too much to

A lot of stuff still to getto. More on obviously Biden,
what's going on, the crisis atthe White House, the crisis plus France.
If you guys have not seen what'sgoing on France. France made a
(01:06:15):
hard pivot right over the weekend, which is very interesting, as Germany has
done the same. Several other nationshave done the same because of their frustration,
in particular with immigration and the factthat they're looking around their countries and
saying this is not what we signedup for. The left is dominated for
(01:06:36):
years and now there is a pivotto the right. We'll talk a little
bit about that. We have somenature messing you up, and part of
that is going to be political innature, and I'll tell you why,
because it's hilarious. We'll talk aboutthat straight ahead three two, three,

(01:08:15):
Is that portion of the program wherewe laugh a little because, as
we know, nature can mess youup. Nature weirdless you because it will.
It's that time of the year.People heading to the beach. We're
(01:08:35):
at the beach right now, joiningtime with our family. Saw a bunch
of sharks. Little sharks. Sharksaren't going to hurt you, but there
are sharks out there that can andas we know, they will take a
bite. A Florida boter is recoveringin the hospital after a shark latched onto
his arm during the fishing trip onthe Atlantic Ocean near Jacksonville. The boater
managing to flag down water patrol hisinjuries non life threatening at lunch and grabbed
(01:08:59):
a whole of his forearm, whichhad a pretty bad bite, lost a
lot of blood. Friday's incident marksthe fourth person attacked in Florida just this
month alone, and comes as otherstates have reported sightings and dangerous encounters.
Be careful when you're out there. We give you guys these tips because nature
is at times dangerous. We startedwatching It's like Shark month. So you
(01:09:23):
remember last week, so you gotnat Gio has their Shark Month, and
then the Discovery has Shark Week. It's coming up. And my daughter was
asking me last night, she's five, do they want to eat us?
I'm like no, Well do theywant to bite us? I'm like no,
And she goes, why do they? And I said, because they
don't have any hands. They don'tknow what you are right, They're just
taking a nibble. They can seethe problem is when your nibble is that
(01:09:45):
big, it can hurt you. She's like, oh, speaking of nature.
Now we are talking about the debate, chaos, the craziness going on
there. This though, is crazy. This is somebody who filmed the attack.
Kind of attack that is a roommatefighting with another roommate and a candidate
(01:10:09):
for Hennepin County Board in Minnesota. She decided to her name is Marissa Simonetti,
so she allowed somebody to move intoher house, which she doesn't own,
to kind of sublet so her friend, quote unquote could study for the
bar. This is after like aday or two of fighting and it went
(01:10:30):
sideways from there. So she startedplaying Christian music loud as can be going
crazy. Then she took her tarantulaand flung it at her, did throw
things, and the tarantula thing downthe stairs, that tarantula thing, that
home alone. That Kevin McCallister,I'm telling you, Yeah, But now
so you're just trying to be funny. I mean, there is an element
of humor to that movie. Yes, And at the end, what was
(01:10:51):
I supposed to do? Uh notthat it looks and it sounds a little
unhinged. Found a little unhinged inthat video. Yeah, And at the
end of the day, unhinged gother out of the house. The battle
apparently started because Vasquez was complaining ofa spider infestation. Simonetti says her complaints
(01:11:12):
were NonStop and she asked Vasquez toleave, but she wouldn't, and then
says Vasquez sent harassing messages. Simonettisays she and her son expect kindness and
respect in their home. But doyou understand that, like just from an
outsider, what you did wasn't maybekindness and respectful. I mean so perhaps
as someone who's in my home notpaying a squad, or perhaps I should
(01:11:34):
have invited her up for tea andcrumpets. I cannot even believe this is
where we're at. She threw aspider. She's been charged with an assault.
She didn't throw it either, shelet it out of the box on
top of the stairs. This iswhere we're at. Three two, three,
five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
It is your Twitter, Feel freeto tweet at us. Love hearing
(01:11:54):
from all of you. Coming upnext hour, big stuff, obviously,
more on what's going on. What'sthe next step for Biden? What about
Kamala Harris? They're trying to pumpher up because let's be real, he
stays on and wins, what arethe chances he finishes those four years?
That's a very fair question to ask. That's not mean, that's not being
(01:12:16):
horrible. So many people, howdare you ask a question like that?
That is being one hundred percent honestin this situation, and it's not me
that's asking it, even though I'vebeen asking it for a very long time.
And did the Democrats hurt themselves withKamala Harir? Not that she's mad
at them, but that the nation'slooking going, Yeah, maybe identity politics
(01:12:36):
wasn't the way to go. We'lltalk about that a lot of other stuff
to get to It is the ChadBenson Show. This is the Chad Benson
Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent life, This is Chad Benson. The dust
(01:13:13):
is settling, the nerves are rea. What will Joe Biden do? Sweekend,
his entire family got together and theylooked right at him and then said,
Jill, what do you think weshould do? And Jill's like,
I should still, we should still, he should still be president. That's
what I'm thinking. Yeah, yeah, that's where they're going with this.
(01:13:34):
I just want you guys to understandthat he is not backing down. He's
got no way, shape, orform of any kind of word of quit
inside of him. This guy isnone of those things. He is a
cantankerous old man who's got his witsabout him. We saw what we saw,
But it's funny because they're not givingup the ghost. We're basically saying
(01:13:57):
the president is the only person outthere who's beaten Donald Trump, and he
will do it again, you know. And we're all going to work together
on this. You're gonna have towork together because the puppet masters need to
puppet He's the only one that's everbeaten Donald. Okay, that's right,
it's the only one that's ever beatenDonald. That being said, that was
(01:14:17):
not this Joe Biden want you guysjust go back four years and see the
debate with Donald right then, justjust the don and you know, former
Vice President Biden. Watch the debate, Look at the debate, Listen to
(01:14:41):
the debate. Then you come forwardthree and a half plus years and there's
no doubt he is not who heonce was. Who is by the way,
but this isn't going anywhere. Heain't fixing this. It's no magic
shot. There's no lecture you're goingto give him. There is none of
(01:15:01):
that stuff. Plus, you've liedto the American people. You've lied to
people within the White House as wellas mega donors, which you need.
You've just lied through your teeth. The reason why this has been such a
shock to the system inside the WhiteHouse is because the Joe Biden that they
(01:15:25):
saw on Thursday night was unrecognizable tothem. They are both sad because how
this could affect the election. They'resad for him because there's great affection for
him, but they're also angry becausethey feel that this side of Joe Biden
must have been known to at leastsome of his close aids, and they
hid and they hid that part ofit, not just from them, but
you know, from potentially from votersand from Democrats and from donors. And
(01:15:50):
that's a big thing because if youdon't have donors, big donors. Little
donors are great, but if youdon't have the big donors as well,
you're going to struggle big time. And they're all worried, and they can
all come out and say stuff likeAlan Dickman here, you guys aren't doctors.
(01:16:14):
The problem right now is that theDemocratic Party is considering replacing Biden,
mostly because it's unclear whether or nothe actually physically can carry out the rest
of this campaign and put up afight against his opponent. So that seems
like a fundamentally different thing than someof the items that you have in your
rubric. It's a huge mistake. They're not doctors. They don't know whether
(01:16:36):
Biden is physically capable of carrying outa second term or not. Remember a
lot of folks was saying the samething about Ronald Reagan, who was you
know, seventy three. An agewas very different then, and they said,
you know, he's not capable ofcarrying out on the term. And
what do we find out later onRonald Reagan, especially the last two and
(01:16:57):
a half years of his presidency, the struggle was so bad, his memory
had slipped. He was obviously said, as you know, struggling with with
with early onset Alzheimer's. And heis younger. Just what you understand,
he was younger at the time thanJoe Biden. He was younger at the
time. But you're not a doctor. I don't have to be a doctor.
(01:17:24):
I don't have to be a doctor. But they're gonna lie to you.
That's what they have done, andthey've continued to do. They continue
to tell you things that are lies. He is sharp, intensely probing and
detail oriented and focused. This isa man who is sharp, who is
(01:17:44):
on top of his game, whoknows what's going on. This guy's tough,
he's smart game, his mental acuityis great. This is a very
sharper president. This is a manthat's on his gate. No, it's
not. They're lying to George Orwellnineteen eighty four, amazing, one of
the great quotes in there. TheParty told you to reject the evidence of
(01:18:08):
your eyes and ears. It wastheir final, most essential command. Don't
believe what you hear see. Don'tbelieve a word of it. It is
all lies. He's sharp, he'sbetter than ever. They're not even pretending
anymore like the people who understand what'sgoing on. They're not pretending. But
(01:18:33):
you still have the sick ephants aroundhim. Who you know what? There's
a fair question out there and whoin God's name is run in this country
at this moment in time, becauseit ain't this guy full time, they
knew this, but they all comeout together at the same time as a
group. There's protection into her.So the signal went out. Now's the
time to write about and speak aboutthe obvious. What Jill Biden is doing
(01:18:53):
here is elder abuse. It's visitingangels. She knows exactly what's happening.
No one more than her. He'dhave done Barack Obama. They all the
books will be written about what's beingdone behind the scenes to revive this guy.
They are complicit in the destruction ofour nation. We have a military,
we have conflicts, we have aborder, we have crime, and
we don't have a president. Whois the president? Who is the president?
(01:19:16):
We don't know who the president isright now. And that is a
fair question, because what I've beentalking about for the last year plus,
what my people have told me onthe inside, is that he's got a
few hours throughout the day and thenthere are issues. So ten o'clock ish,
nine thirty ish, eleven ish, four or five, maybe a little
(01:19:39):
bit later once in a while, there are issues after that. So you're
not a three sixty five seven day, you know, twenty four to seven.
You're not that guy. You're notthe two o'clock in the morning phone
call. Think about that, right, Remember who's going to call? Who
do you want to pick up thephone at two o'clock in the morning,
Not you, that's who? Notyou? Why? Because you're not there
(01:20:03):
and everybody knows it, You're notjust asking him to finish out the term.
Politico's White House corresponds Jonathan Lamara todaysaid, Hey, it's not even
about just finishing out the term. You're asking for more than that. I'm
not advocating this position, but it'swhat the weekend was was Elected's lobbyists donors
(01:20:26):
importantly because they're going to fund thiscampaign if it goes forward, saying does
the does our guy, who we'veloved and who we would love to see
win, does he have what ittakes to win? And does he have
what it takes to government for fouryears all the way to the age of
eighty six, which is what thepresident's asking for, is another term that
will give him four more years inoffice where whatever degree of of of slippage
(01:20:46):
that he has suffered is going tonot get better. He's going to He's
going to he's going to age further. So there are people who are on
Joe Biden's side who are worried aboutthis, and that's the thing that the
campaign is trying to that campaign istrying to mana now is how to reassure
people who are not fundamentally hostile toJoe Biden, are animical to his interest,
but are just concerned about this takesin the election that the Biden can't
(01:21:09):
he talks about all the time tohis existential stakes. That's really what's going
on here. It's why this discussionis so difficult. It's not difficult.
You do the right thing. JoeScarborough came out and said, if this
was a CEO of a company, you would be having conversations about removing it
if he didn't step down. Ifthis was your mother or father, you
would have taken the keys away along time ago. This is not a
(01:21:30):
difficult discussion. But for the powersthat be, the people behind the president,
this is a time when you haveto shine because your job is on
the line. But also you enjoyedthe stuff Joe Biden has pushed a lot
of. She seems more excited aboutbeing the president than he does because he
doesn't know half the time he's thepresident. You're not being fair to him,
(01:21:54):
Jed. No, I'm being honest. You any of you have told
me, oh, you're such ahorrible person, and how dare you say
anything about that? How dare you? No? I'm just being one hundred
percent honest with the fact that agingpeople tend to struggle. Now in twenty
years will it be as bad.Probably not? Why because we'll come up
with stuff. We don't have thatstuff now. We don't have those things
(01:22:15):
now. There's not the magic elixirnow, and he needs it yesterday.
And that's something to understand. ButTrump's a liar. Trump's a lot of
things. He's braggadocious. He lies. They all lie, by the way,
Biden told a whole bunch of liesthe other night when you could understand
what he was saying. But itwasn't about that. What's it about?
(01:22:39):
Simple? Can you do the jobof which we ask you to do?
Can you complete the job? Whatdo the polls? Says CBS News,
You Gov conducted some polling post debate. We can compare it to the pre
debate numbers, and the bottom lineowls it's not any good. It's not
any good. Look at this, voters who say that Biden has the mental
health to be president. There's justthirty five percent pre debate. Look where
(01:23:01):
it's dropped to now post debate, twenty seven percent. How about that he
should be running for president. Itwas thirty seven percent pre debate, it's
now twenty eight percent. I havenever seen numbers this bad for an incumbent
president during my lifetime. That's bad, that's ugly, that's uncomfortable. He
(01:23:23):
was struggling anyways. Nate Silver fivepoint thirty eight had him not just behind,
had him losing. In most ofthe programs that they use to play
this thing out right through their algorithms, their AI, they ran it over
and over again, and Trump wona vast majority of times. He had
said this is not a Biden tolose thing. This is a Trump's going
(01:23:46):
to win it thing at this pointin time, and Thursday night did not
sway any voters to saying, yeah, he's up for four more. If
it's not President Biden, then whocould it be On the Democratic side?
And the truth is, there areno easy answers, you know. I
went back and looked at the pollingversus Donald Trump. For a bunch of
(01:24:08):
different Democrats have been suggested. GretchenWhitburg, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris.
They all trail Donald Trump. Sothe idea here that we're somehow going to
get this magic bullet, that there'ssomehow going to be some Democrat who can
beat Donald Trump easily. I justdon't see it in the numbers. I
don't think a lot of people seeit in the numbers. We've got a
(01:24:30):
lot of stuff still to get toon this today, including what the Democrats
have done to kind of ham stringthemselves in this situation with the backup plan
and how identity politics has really gotthem in trouble. Talk about that as
well as a lot of other stuff. Three two, three, five,

Benson Show. You're listening to theChad Benson Show. It does find this
under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of presidential power entitles a
former president to absolute immunity from criminalprosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclusive
(01:26:23):
constitutional authority. He is entitled toat least presumptive immunity from prosecution for all
his official acts. There is noimmunity for unofficial acts. That's the first
blush we've got on this is itlooks like a six to three split.
We've got the descent fi Justice Sodermara, Kagan and Jackson joined that there is
a kind of split decision on someof these somebody joins in one part not
(01:26:45):
in another part, but that's theoverall holding of the court. So what
it means now, we'll have todig into this and see if they tell
us. Now, how do youdecide an official act versus an unofficial acts,
because that's going to be critical.Having now said, the president does
as an absolute immunity from criminal prosecutionfor actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutions,
So what does that all mean simplythis, at least right now,
(01:27:09):
it's going to go back down tothe lower courts. They have said that
presidents have absolute immunity when essentially dischargingtheir powers as the president of the United
States. The lower courts are goingto decide did Donald Trump, in doing
what he did when it came tothe election and all of this stuff,
(01:27:30):
did that was that part of hispower of the presidency or was that personal?
So no person is above the law. But at the same time,
when you are president, you willdo things that the average person would go
to jail for because you're making decisionsthat at times are life and death and
(01:27:57):
things of that nature that nobody elsewould. So is it a win for
Trump? Yes? Is it anabsolute win for Trump. Not yet,
because it has to go down tothe lower court, and the lower court
is going to then decide at thatpoint in time, which of these in
(01:28:17):
the case that they're looking at inDC applies. Was it personal? Was
it presidential? If it was deemedpersonal, well then that's a different story.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to
(01:28:38):
twenty three at Chad Benson Show.Is your Twitter tweet at as text to
program on The Chad Benson Show.If it was deemed well, part of
his duties. He was doing thisas president of the United States. So
because of that, he has absoluteimmunity from prosecution. Away the January sixth
(01:29:00):
as they like to call it,which is really not it, but it's
the DC case. It's gone atleast for now. None of these things
are going to happen before the electionis over, so just tuning in it
is a partial win. And somepeople would say it is also a situation
where they're kicking it back down tothe lower courts to make the big decision
(01:29:24):
because they didn't make the big decision. They put the framework in place of
saying, hey, yes, thepresidents should have immunity, which should have
been there. I mean, weshould have had this figured out. But
the personal side of it is whatpeople are going to be looking at.
What is the personal aspect of this? Was Trump doing something illegal or potentially
(01:29:49):
illegal as a personal situation as opposedto a presidential and his argument was free
in fair elections. I felt therewas this. I felt there was that
as the president of the United States, I should be protecting those things,
which is a very good argument tomake. So I don't think it has
(01:30:09):
the effect because I think it's it'smucky and in the weeds. It's one
hundred and nineteen pages as what wesaw the other night, because we saw
their own eyes and our own earsof Joe Biden. So I think that
has a bigger effect on this. But from a personal standpoint, yeah,
I think Trump's got a smile onhis face at A three two, three,

frail and his voice was hoarse, and it was just I was like,
come on, give me something.Despite CNN's attempt to make the debate about
policy, as soon as Biden cameon stage, that entire debate came about
(01:31:17):
his age and his mental capacity. Most Republicans don't want to see anything bad
happen to Joe Biden. We wantour country to do well. We're patriotic
and having a strong president place makesthe country better for everyone. But after
seeing that debate last night, I'mmore afraid about the future of our country
today than I was on September eleventh. I'm planning on voting Biden, but
(01:31:38):
it's not because of his strengths. It's really just because he's not Donald Trump.
I saw a tired president and Ithink he needed a snicker and a
mountain dew. I don't think asnicker or mountain dew was going to fix
what was up there the other night. You know, they all talk about
Donald Trump, like, hey,Donald, you better be on your a
game because they could bring somebody inyounger. But know you heard the polling
(01:32:00):
earlier in the show. The pollingsays that he beats the Newsom's and the
whitmears, and he beats them. Here's something else though, on the flip
side of that, Democrats are luckythat this isn't Nicky Haley up against Joe
Biden. Not only is the agedifference of the gap so much larger,
but because there isn't that disdain thatpeople have for Nikki Haley the way that
(01:32:26):
they do for Donald Trump, theyalso don't have that love for Donald Trump,
you know what I mean. Butshe would she would win almost every
state. Would she would put statesin play that you would be going,
are you serious now? Yeah?Because it is that bad, unless,
(01:32:46):
of course you're James Clyburn, whowas the reason that he won. Let's
not forget you go back four yearsago. Biden was dead in the water,
got to South Carolina, powerful SenatorJames Clyburn, gets behind him,
throws everything behind him, and thenfrom there he takes off. James Clyburn
(01:33:08):
still thinks this guy's got a lotin him. I said, come with
me, come to those two churchesI visited in Madison, Wisconsin. Yes
to make yesterday, come to theworking men and women that I met with
in butno, it last night. And I suspect I'm going to find the
same thing here in Milwauker today becauseof what I found when I was in
(01:33:30):
Atlanta, Georgia, eight four hundredAfrican American men had registered for that conference.
Now I know when I set upto speak, I didn't see eight
thousand people, but I saw atleast five thousand in that auditorium, and
they were all for Joe Biden. So let's not think about all of the
stuff that we may read about, what we may think about, what we
(01:33:51):
may speculate about. Listen to theAmerican people. Come out here among them,
feel them, and to have thebenefit of their emotions. And when
you sit down to write your editorials, okay, well we just heard from
Americans. Do you not remember whatwe just did. We just played you
(01:34:13):
Americans. Do you want us toplay it again? So maybe you hear
He just looked so frail and hisvoice was forced, and it was just
I was like, come on,give me something. That's Americans that are
not happy because they saw what theysaw. This has nothing to do with
policy. Policy didn't matter. Itold you guys the other night. Policy
doesn't matter. People were gonna seecan Trump hold his cool not freak out?
(01:34:39):
And could Joe Biden would stand theriggers of standing up for ninety minutes.
And the answer to the first onewas Trump did better than he normally
does when it comes to keeping hiscool and not talking over everybody doing that.
He did. You know again,I don't think he rocked it,
knocked it out the park, buthe didn't have to because the other side
of it was Joe Biden was awful. Absolutely, these things happened. I
(01:35:00):
saw it happened to Ronald Reagan.I saw it happened to Barack Obama,
and both of them cam back fromthose bad performances because they had the ability
to connect to the American people. And Joe Biden has the ability as good,
if not better than anybody that Iever been around. And so yes,
(01:35:20):
I'm sticking with him, and Ido believe that the American people,
the vast majority of the American people, will stick with him as well.
No, they won't. And let'sgo over Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan for
just a second. There's a differencebetween having an off day and what we
saw the other night, because there'sno fixing what happened the other night.
(01:35:45):
That's why I don't want you guysto get you know, say well,
what they're still selling us the dream. No, there's no fixing that.
That's not getting better. You watcha baseball game and a guy will go
zero for five, couple bad days, okay, but you know what that
right there is. You know he'shad an off night. He's going to
(01:36:09):
come back the next day. He'sgoing to come back the next day.
Joe hasn't come back the next dayat all. And that's what they're trying
to get him to do. Secondly, and is is the people that have
gone over five when they're forty two, there's no coming back. You're not
going to be twenty three again.Do you recognize that. Yeah, So
when you're a rookie or you're inthe middle of your career and you got
(01:36:31):
a long way to go, youhave an off day. It's an off
day when you're at the end ofyour career and you've probably stayed a season
or two too long, and yougo zero for five and on that last
strikeout you swung and fell over.Well, then there's no coming back from
that. There's not another lecture that'sgoing to turn you into a twenty five
(01:36:51):
year old. It's the thing thingwith Joe, this had nothing to do
with policy and him just misspeaking.I'm gonna play something. This is twenty
twenty versus twenty twenty four Joe debate. I do not get elected the next
president the United States because they knowI know them and they know me.
We're able to make every single solitaryperson eligible for what I've been able to
(01:37:15):
do with the with the covid ix, could be with dealing with everything we
have to do with. Look,if we finally beat medicare all of those
so called dreamers, those Dhaka kids, They're going to be immediately certified again
to be able to stay in thiscountry and put on a path to citizenship.
(01:37:39):
And I'm going to continue to moveuntil we get the total ban on
the total initiative. Relative to whatwe're going to do with more border patrol
and more asylamos, it's not evenclose. That's three years. What does
five years from now sound like?Sounds like Kamala Harris, which is also
their other big issue. This isgreat James Carville, who said last week
(01:38:01):
it says lots of stuff. Youguys don't know. James Carville, it
kind of looks like an alien. But he and his wife were the dominant
force of politics in the eighties andnineties. He's a big Democratic guy.
She was a big Republican and conservative. They ran campaigns, they he got
Clinton in the White House. Hemaneuver Clinton through all of those things.
This guy's the kind of go toguy back in the day for everything.
(01:38:25):
Now, this is what's interesting, and I've been saying this. I think
they would be less panic in theparty if there was somebody behind him they
trust and they do not trust her. But as he likes to point out,
this is the problem with Democrats intoday's world, from them, from
the from you know, from thejust just the way they talk, the
(01:38:45):
attitude they have, and the factthat it is it's a self importance about
being allies and pushing things out there. You've talked yourself into a position where
you cannot get rid of the firstAsian slash black feet email Vice President.
You can't you put yourself in thatposition when you start speaking in a language
that people don't speak, they resentthat. And if you start speaking like
(01:39:11):
NPR, you're going to lose votes. I tell people, there's one term
that I just don't like, theterm communities of color. I don't know
what they tell it means they gotthree guys on a street corner. I
said, hey, for all thosea lot of things in the community of
calling a day, it's just talkingabout seriously, all right, address people
you like they address each other,And that right there says a lot the
(01:39:36):
communities of color. But do yousee what he's doing there. He's pointing
out the ridiculousness of what goes onand the language and how it's used and
how it's framed so many things, and that is now biting them in the
ass because they've been so concerned withidentity politics rather than you know, who's
(01:39:57):
the best for this gig at thismoment in time that actually wants this gig,
by the way, because there's alot of people out there black,
white, gay, straight, tall, short Republican Democrat who'd be good eat
these gigs, But they don't wantthem because they're smart enough to stay away
from We started on this coded language, and we let it get away from
us, and it hurt us.And it's what I call coastal condensation that
(01:40:20):
we know what's best for you.Don't eat hamburgers, don't watch football,
don't drink beer. Guess where ouryoung male number is going in the titlet
because democratic messaging, I'm sorry,is too feminine. It just is that
right there is hardcore, straight onright at you. It is too feminis
It's one of the things we've talkedabout in the political world. If you
(01:40:42):
go and look at the numbers youngunmarried women, mostly white skew hardcore left
progressive, which is a large numberyoung men read women go right, why
(01:41:03):
is that? Well? You know, as I always joke, those liberal
white women, you know who youare. If you think about democratic message,
listen to NPR read what comes outof there, and you can see
it. And I'm sorry. Thereare too many preachy females and democratic campaign
culture and we come across to peopleas judgmental and that's not good at all.
(01:41:26):
You can come across as understanding. The proof isn't a putting. Look
at the male number of people thatidentify as Democrats. One of the things
that I've found out you don't winelections by telling people that their dietary habits
are bad or they shouldn't be watchingfootball and drinking beer at the same time
not good. But they do,and that's what makes me laugh. They
(01:41:48):
do. They tell you not todrive that vehicle. It's all about the
look the virtue signal. And Ibring that up because what he says is
brilliant. But the other part ofit is you've put yourself in this position
now where people don't feel comfortable withwho's behind you. They don't feel comfortable
(01:42:08):
with the person that is the copilot on this flight, that is the
Presidency, with Biden as the leadpilot and hers the copilot. That's an
issue that isn't going to change. Her numbers are worse than his, and
he doesn't know where he's at.Three two, three, five, three,
(01:42:30):

(01:43:45):
you've come to the perfect place fortakeout. Man. It was something about
the debate that threw him into thisstate that he was in because watch this.
While Donald Trump was probably enjoying acelebratory plotter of cheeseburgers, President Biden
made an appearance at watch party alittle while after the debate, and he
scarcely resembled the guy from earlier inthe evening. This is really unbelievable.
(01:44:08):
Watch We're gonna beat this skuy.We need to beat his guy, and
I need you in order to beathim. You're the people I've running for.
Certainly no colds. Suddenly he wassixty three? Yeah, what happened?
What happened is? First of all, why is your wife dragging to
a watch party in Raleigh, NorthCarolina after you just had the debacle on
(01:44:29):
stage? Isn't that weird? ButI just love like there what happened?
He just says, sounded sharp. Can't get any better than that. That
guy's on fire. No he's not. He's an old man who needs to
ride away into the sunset. AndI feel bad that they are not doing
that for him. And it sucksbig time. And I think everybody needs
to understand what is happening and thefact that people want to hold onto power
(01:44:54):
and are willing to do just aboutanything to do so is not very all
about democracy, is it. No, it's not. This week. Lots
of travel going on. How howare you fair? Because it's going to
be busy af as the kids wouldsay, yesday's experiencing some of its highest
passenger counts. Ever, In fact, this past Friday was the fourth busiest
(01:45:15):
day on record for the TSA nearlythree million passenger screened at airports nationwide.
But it's this coming Wednesday, Julythird, that will likely be the busiest
day to head to your destination thisholiday period. Now what i' I always
tell you leave it day early ortwo days early. Right, So let's
say you have something big on aSaturday and your goal was to leave Friday,
and Sunday may not work for you. Best thing to do if you
(01:45:39):
can leave Thursday and a Monday, give yourself extra wiggle room. Right,
if you have something on a Wednesday, try to get there on a Monday.
I know it sounds in this dayand age of it only takes one
situation, for especially on airplanes, where there's weather here that causes this,
and from there it does that. You don't want any part of me seeing
(01:46:00):
any of the stuff. I'm lettingyou guys know it's what I do here,
all right, I'm here to helpyou. What about driving? Experts
say the best day for traffic ison Monday, the worst day being Wednesday,
the day before the fourth, becauseeverybody is leaving town Traffic will also
be pretty bad on Sunday, Julyseventh, as everyone comes back. The
worst times to be driving are betweentwo and eight pm. So of course
(01:46:23):
if you want to get somewhere quickly, you want to leave before ten in
the morning. So people are goingto be on the road everywhere, so
you've got to be careful as youget out there, and there are special
times you should be going. Okay, understand that Wednesday, if you're driving,
it's going to be busy. Sundaybusy. See where we're going this
today, not so busy Tuesday, not as busy Wednesday, nightmare Friday.
(01:46:47):
Too late, you've missed it ifyou're trying to get somewhere for the fourth
okay, and then you got tostart thinking about, oh what if I'm
flying, Well, understand if you'reflying, whether in certain areas is going
to be nasty and potentially coming up, we could be seeing a hurricane.
Carrol is located in the Central Atlantic. It's a few hundred miles east of
the Lesser Antilles. At the moment, it did strengthen very quickly. It
(01:47:09):
went from not even a name stormlate last night to now the first hurricane
of the twenty twenty four season.First hurricane of the twenty twenty four season.
Who's excited? Nobody? That's right, but it'll bring us to our
stupid information. And then I goand spoil it all. I say something
stupid. It all takes stupid tillsthis morning. It's the honest ones you
(01:47:30):
want to watch out for because youcan never predict they're going to do something
incredibly stupid. Now you're the fat, stupid one with the big mouth.
Is stupid little last. You shouldnever underestimate the predictability of stupidoting. Now
it's time for stupid information. Wewrap up the show. We'd like to
(01:47:56):
give you a little titbit of fun, infvolity stupid information today. What is
the strongest hurricane ever? The burlhere is rolling in at what cat three
four? You never know what it'sgonna end up? Like? People like,
has there ever been one that isso strong? Over two hundred miles
an hour? Yes there was HurricanePatricia. Gotta walk out for Patricia.
Highest record is wins two hundred andfifteen miles an hour. Hit Mexico and
(01:48:21):
Texas, cost about four under andsixty million dollars in damage. Strongest recorded
hurricane ever now you know three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at ChadBenson Show is your Twitter tweet at his
text. The program on The ChadBenson Show, solid fun show as always
today, more about the big newstomorrow as we can read through it and
(01:48:45):
find out exactly what it all means. Plus obviously more is the Great Debate
from the Great Debate continues to takeplace of will he or won't he?
I'm saying he will. And thereason is simple. Nobody wants that gig
at this moment in time, andI don't think anybody at this moment of
times could be able to beat DonaldTrump, which is something to absolutely think
about. Even others that they throwout there probably wouldn't fare very well,
(01:49:11):
especially at this late time. Atleast the people are talking about you,
guys, have a blessed rest ofyour Monday. We'll do it again tomorrow,
remember or off Wednesday, Thursday andFriday. As always, Night Night
Jack. This is the Chad BensonShow.
