(00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. Thisis Chad Benson. Democracy on the ballot.
No, it's not talk about that. You know what is on the
ballot, power winning, not democracy. Democracy is not on the ballot.
And if you hear people say democracyis on the bat it's not. We're
(00:34):
fine, Okay, we're fine.No we're not. No, we're fine.
It's not going anywhere. Now,this stuff that Trump wins, the
world's not gonna end and nothing's gonnahappen. That's well, you don't even
know, Chad. He's gonna enslaveeverybody. But no, no, shut
up. It's ridiculous democracy on theballot. And I laugh at that because
(01:00):
Nick Christoph, who is the bigNew York Times reporter, wrote a piece
about, hey, it's time foryou to get out of the race.
And this goes with freedoman all ofthese other people. The New York Times,
I mean, the media is like, uh, did you know he
was not? Well, everybody knowswhy the polls haven't freaked out about it,
(01:21):
because the rest of the country sawthrough the prism of reality what the
media and their rose colored glasses didn'tsee and wouldn't report them. And now
they're like, I didn't know thatwas gonna happen. Okay, everybody did.
But when I hear people, becauseI get a lot of you texting
(01:42):
me, Chad, it's all gonnait's all gonna be over Trump's can enslave
us, et cetera, et cetera, I just laugh, and I hear
democracies on the ballot. So NickChristoph, he's doing all the shows right
now because the New York Times obviouslya big deal. It's the paper of
reck kids. But he was askedabout democracy being on the ballot, because
(02:05):
that's a big thing for Biden.Well, it's hard to say democracies on
the ballot when your potentially and inreality you're lying to the nation and it's
being covered up. How bad youare, it's being covered up, how
much of a struggle it is dayto day for you. It's being covered
up throughout. Part of it isthe media. The other part of it,
(02:30):
I'll be honest with you, isthe people with the inside of his
cabin is sphere of power. Theinfluential folk, if you will, including
family members who may be making somedecisions or help pushing him in some decisions.
Not elected officials, but they screamed, democracies on the ballot. So
(02:52):
what is it? That's not democracy? People? That isn't nobody elected you,
nobody voted for you. And ifyou can't do the job, them
covering it up to remain in poweris not democracy. But Nick Christoph brings
up it's about democracy, but whenhe talks about it, it doesn't talk
about democracy. But beyond that, there's, you know, simply the point
(03:15):
that Biden himself makes that this isan election with incredibly important stakes, where
democracy itself may be at risk. And if we believe that, then isn't
important to do everything we can forDemocrats to win in November. And if
it looks as if other candidates aremore likely to beat Trump, then doesn't
(03:35):
it make sense for those other peopleto step forward and to replace Biden.
It seems to me that right nowthe Democrats are on track to lose the
White House to a convicted felon whowasn't actually even all that popular, and
if the Democrats can remedy that inthe coming weeks, then you know,
to me, it makes sense todo that. It was never about democracy,
(04:00):
That's that that fear is the easiestway to get you to do something
if I can convince you the personacross the street is a monster and is
evil, and that the only wayto stop that person is to hire me
to protect you. Even though thatperson across the street isn't going to do
anything to you. And while theymay talk a game, the reality is
(04:25):
a lot of it is just abunch of bologney. But if I can
get you and convince you to dothat, then you're gonna reac Then you're
gonna react, and you're gonna actupon something he didn't talk about. Look,
he needs to step down. We'vewe've got issues across this country that
are that are really important, butalso globally, they can have massive impacts
(04:47):
everywhere, including here. And wehave a person who may not be in
a situation to make the right decisionat the right time because they have issues
mentally, they're struggling, and forus as a nation, for us as
the beacon of hope that's shining lighton the mountain for all of the things
(05:11):
that matter, we need somebody inplace to protect those things. No,
it's about holding on to power,That's what it is. What do I
have to do to hold on topower? George Stephanopolis. If you guys
haven't heard has apologized. Shouldn't hespoke out a turn yesterday? I guess
(05:32):
working out going for a little jog, somebody approached him with a camera.
Know this that if somebody approaches you, they probably have a camera somewhere.
They're going to ask you I gotchaquestion or just can you be honest for
a moment and was asked, hey, you think he can do another four
years? He think, Hey,how you doing? What do you think?
Do you think Biden should step down? You talked to him more than
(05:54):
anybody else have lately, and youcould be honest. You don't think you
can start four more years? Allright, that's an answer. No,
nobody thinks he can serve four moreyears. So what are you voting on?
Cause you're gonna get Kamala, whichI think if I'm the Democrats,
(06:14):
and what matters is identity politics.Again, we're not talking about democracy.
I'm taking that off the table atthis point in time because you've lost the
chance for that when you continue tocover up and hide and not actually do
the right thing. But that beingsaid, if I'm them, you give
(06:36):
it to her, You go toher, You go to people in his
cabinet to highest ranking people that caninfluence and move things, where the other
parts will say yes, yes, yes, the administration and you say we're
going to vote to twenty fifth,we're gonna make sure you get this.
You're gonna be able to check boxes. We'll get Pete Buotagich. I mean,
(06:56):
there's all the boxes you need tocheck right there, and then you
you've got to run. You've gotthis chance. This is it. But
then the Democrats can say we hadthe first black female president, which is
very important, and gay vies.I mean, you know all the things.
Somebody I said that to somebody yesterdaythis Oh Jackie Robinson said, now
different? How is it different?I said, well, first of all,
(07:17):
Jackie Robinson was amazing some one ofthe greatest baseball players of all time.
I don't think we're getting that withher. Oh yeah, you're right,
because you know, if you're gonnabe the first anything, you got
to make sure you're it because otherwiseit'll be a long time before there's a
second. But if you want toget her across the finish line, because
(07:41):
you know, she's more popular inthe unpopular zone, right, Like that's
what she is like she's she's aboveBiden in popularity, but she's still very
unpopular. But it's about democracy,it's not it's not I don't think he
(08:05):
should be president right now, andwhat is going on with him, and
this is something that needs to betalked about. What is happening is something
that is going to continue to happen. We have seen it for the last
umpteen it's really been the last eighteenmonths. There was a chart yesterday showing
(08:30):
how he has gone from forgetting afew things to just month after month,
it is getting worse and worse andworse. And that's said. It goes
back to that human side of things. But this exchange, this next exchange,
this may be the best exchange I'veheard in a while. Jonah Goldberg
(08:52):
writes for a Dispatch. Just abrilliant writer, smart dude, and he
and a Biden's spokesperson kind of goingat it, and it is, uh,
you know what he did. Hegave them. This is on CNN
Adoca reality. But he's the presidentof the United States right now, so
he got back barely. Yeah,I don't think he's up to the job.
(09:18):
I questioning I'm questioning his fitness rightnow to serve as president, barely
barely president. You're suggesting that he'snot capable of doing the things that we've
seen him accomplish in these in thesefilms. To me, and that's where
it took off. The last threeand a half years means nothing. People
are like, oh my god,she flips out, But he's absolutely correct.
(09:41):
Remember, when you're voting, it'sfor the future, it's not for
the past. You may vote basedon the fact that the person that you're
voting for has done a good job, or you think they have or whatever
reason, but you're voting for them, not for today. You're voting for
them for tomorrow. And when hesays and when Democrats say this election is
(10:03):
about democracy in the future of thecountry, and then he says, well,
if I lose, I give himmy best shot. Who cares?
That is a terrible answer. Hewas clearly prepped, and he still gave
a terrible help saying the last threeyears mean nothing to you. When you
have a president who has gotten moredone in a bipartisan way than anybody thought
was possible, has gotten meaningful gunlegislation done, has gotten infrastructure build,
(10:24):
you had a heart attack. Youwant to say, well, look when
he did the last three and ahalf that's like saying it doesn't so it
doesn't matter who president because it doesn'tmatter what happens when this person's in office.
That's saying that only the campaign isthe only thing that matters. I
don't think that's true. I don'tthink that's true. That's it. Then
it depends. Campaigns are about thefuture, and that's fine. I'm just
saying saying the last three and ahalf years don't matter at all. It
(10:46):
don't matter all about it whether ornot he can do the job the next
four next four and a half years. No, do you honestly think he
can serve four and a half moreyears? I do. I don't think
that's lunatic. I really do.I think it's lunatic. Do I think
he can? Actually, if youwere you were entitled to your opinion,
and his opinion is absolutely right, and yes, past performance. You go
(11:07):
see a movie based on the starthat you saw in another movie and you
liked his work or her work, and you're like, I'm gonna go see
that. It doesn't mean the movieyou're going to see is gonna be good.
It's just like, Oh. Butthe difference is if you go and
(11:28):
you're gonna go, I'm gonna gosee this movie here because this person I
like, and then halfway through themovie it ends and you don't know what
the rest of it's like and it'ssome other movie. Well, that's not
what you signed up for. Itdoesn't matter what happened yesterday. It matters
where this is going. Three two, three, five, three eight,

(12:56):
Chad Benson Show. You're listening tothe Chad Benson Show. Meanwhile, in
Kiev, the war still rages on. This is just a scene of utter
(13:16):
destruction here where the building of thelargest children's hospital in all of Ukraine was
hit by a missile. When themissile struck, immediately both first responders were
on hand, but also personnel herefrom the children's hospital trying to dig people
out from under the rubble. Theyimmediately came and with their bare hands some
(13:37):
of them with very rudimentary tools, sorted, shipping away and working away at
the rubble, trying to save peopleif they possibly could. Yeah, if
you've not seen this again, probablyyou can't tell all the marching in the
streets from the young, young kidswho are upset about this. Oh wait,
this isn't Palestine, know, thisis Ukraine, Kiev. They're bombing
(13:58):
the hell out of it. Wehave put that on the back burner in
a major way. Right after Octoberseventh, obviously things changed, and then
we had two fires for the worldto look at that were ready to just
explode. Then, right, you'vegot all this going on, and then
(14:18):
you have what's going on with ourpresident. But if you've not, I
mean this, imagine a children's everyone of you listening right, no matter
where you are in the country, there's a children's hospital, probably within a
close proximity, you know, fiftymiles, one hundred miles, maybe just
up the street. Imagine if ourneighbors decided to blow that thing up.
Oh my god. Now, ifthis would have happened in let's say Palestine,
(14:46):
it'd be all over the news. But nobody's talking about this. Now.
We know that at least two peoplehave been killed and dozens of people
were wounded. And when you're standinghere, you can really see how forceful
the explosion must have been. Again, that was one where a building stood,
and you can see there there's stillthe floor of the building right there,
and under it there's a car thatwas totally flattened when that building came
(15:09):
crashing down. The Russians, fortheir part, are saying that they were
not behind this. They say thatthey believe that this could have been a
stray Ukrainian surface to air missile tryingto defend against the missile attack the Russians
had launched. But the Ukrainians arehaving none of that. Nobody's having none
of that. And even if itwas a stray right so, even if
(15:31):
it was a stray missile, theonly reason there's a stray missile is because
you're bombing their city. Our alliesare questioning, is he up for the
job. We talk a little bitabout that right here on the Chad Benson
Show. Luckily we've got Biden. He's all over it, because you know,
(15:52):
NATO's in town. The guy thataligns through one of the most consequential
periods in its history. I realizeI've was talking to you, I personally
ask you to extend your service forgiveme. Oh my god. Just they're
questioning it as they should be.And we've got a lot of woke stuff
(16:15):
coming up. Man, We've gotsome crazy woke stuff coming up. Because
there is a lot of crazy wokestuff and we joke about it. So
if you're new to the program WokeWednesday, here is it's not so much
making fun of some of the stuff. Some of it is. It's fun
on its own. The other sideof it is the fact that this neo
Marxism insanity has seeped into our worldand our culture, and I think we're
(16:40):
pushing back in a way that hasn'thappened. I think people are feeling more
comfortable to push back in a waythat they haven't felt that they can push
back in a long time. AndI think that is a really good thing,
because I think we need to beable to push back. When somebody
comes up and says, you know, because the person has the pain,
it doesn't mean he's not a woman. You're like, what And if you
(17:03):
go in and there's a lot ofpeople out there who fear like I can't
say anything because I'll get in trouble. But we're pushing back and I think
that's good. So it's not somuch the you know, because a lot
of people say, why do youdo woke Winnesday? Well, first of
all, Bran Woke Wednesday kind ofrolls well. But it's also to understand
what is going on out there, how we push back against insanity with logic
(17:25):
reason stuff like that. Talk abouta lot of good stuff coming up as
well. We got some Alec Baldwintrial updates that we're gonna get to as
well. Woke stuff straight ahead righthere. Chad Benson Show, The Chad
Benson Show, Independent, Independent Life. This is Chad Benson. There was
(18:03):
the rumble in the jump. Therewas the Battle of the sexes, Billy
Jean King, Bobby Riggs. Thelast couple of years in golf, you've
had the match. Originally it startedout Tiger versus Phil One on one monoy
mono. You want to talk somegolf, remember this debate. And by
(18:30):
the way, I told you before, I'm happy to play golf if you
carry your own bag. A lookat that last night the Trumpster. That's
why this evening I am also andthis is an honor of you and everybody.
It is at forty five thousand people. That's a lot of people.
I'm also officially challenging Crooked Joe toan eighteen hole golf match right here under
(18:56):
ouse Blue Monster. Considered one ofthe great in his tournament golf courses anywhere
in the world, one of thegreat courses of the world. It will
be among the most watched sporting eventsin history, maybe bigger than the Ryder
Cup or even the Masters. AndI will even give Joe Biden ten strokes
aside. Ten strokes that's a lot. That means twenty strokes in case you
(19:19):
don't play golf. I will givehim ten strokes aside. And if he
wins, I will give the charityof his choice, any charity that he
wants, one million dollars. Youtalk to Game, brother, you talk
to Game. He can beat him. By the way, he can't beat
(19:40):
him. And he's not a sixhandicap or an eight handicap. It's just
not happening. And I'm not talkingabout trum Trump would mop the floor with
Biden, but it would be interesting. I mean Trump's right, I mean
how many people you would tune into watch that you're like, I don't
like golf, but I'm tuning intoon. Of course, you are see
(20:03):
a bunch of old dudes swinging awaylike it is Trump gonna cheat, probably,
is Yo gonna lose his ball?Probably, and then watching the dueling
group of people that are their hangerson, you know, and the surrounding
folks as well as the secret serviceeverywhere. And I think each one of
(20:26):
them should get a caddie that's apro golfer. Now they'll all want to
play with Trump and golf with him, because a lot of them do.
I don't know if you're wear this. Golf's a little bit more conservative than
liberal. I'm sure there's a fewout there. They could find hero and
they can let him help out.Joe is an a Henny guy. You
(20:51):
carry your own bag. Hey kids, it's Wednesday. You ready today?
What the woke wants? Every timethey were to me, it's always,
lady girl, it's non stop.We are contributing to our fat phobic society.
Someone fat like me, black likeme, beautiful like me. No
(21:15):
offense is a shit about you.So that's my intentional weight loss is fat
momus at your mouth? Who's fat? It's time for Woke Wednesday. We
get woke if you do the programevery Wednesday, we have fun with crazy,
wacky woke stuff. It permeates throughsociety, this wacky world social justice
(21:37):
dei insane, neo Marxism that isjust er should drive all of us crazy.
Where do we start today? Littlefat phobia. So nobody speaks about
the fat phobia that comes after weightloss, after losing some weight. Initially
I was three fifty. I wenton to one seventy, then I went
down to one sixteenth. Then Istarted going back up to one sixty one
(22:00):
seventy, and when I eat sawthat scale, I automatically got freaked out,
thought that I was getting fat aginand I was just like, oh
my god, Like what's going on. I'm like, what's going on?
Why am I gaining so much weightback? Like I don't want to go
back to three fifty. I don'teven want to go back up to like
two something like. It's just afat phobia kind of right. So your
(22:22):
fat phobic against yourself because you workedhard to lose a bunch of weight,
then you put a little bit ofit on and now you're worried about that
and now you're like, I hatefat people. I don't want to be
one of them. But nobody reallytalks about how afraid and scared and terrified
they are about gaining the weight back. It's definitely triggering, at least for
me to see my weight go upon the scale, so I tried not
(22:48):
to a weigh myself daily. It'sdefinitely difficult, especially as a former big
girl, like I continue eating right, I continue doing everything and all the
necessities that I need to in orderto maintain my weight. You are afraid
of going back to where you startedor back to where you came from.
By the way, that's natural.Could we all admit that if you've lost
(23:08):
weight before, and you worked hardto lose that weight, and then life
whatever, you put that weight back, that is natural to get a little
worry. You're you're you're recognizing thatyou're not phobic of and and let's start
stop using the word phobic for everything. You're a homophobe? Really, am
I scared of gay people? Becausethat's what phobic is, right, there's
(23:30):
a fear of something. You're you'rea fat phobic? Am I am I
scared of fat people? Is thatit? And and this lady here who
lost weight. There are people outthere that are presaged and happy with themselves
because they should love themselves and theway it is, and you should champion
the fat there's back because we're livingreality. People that would say the fact
(23:52):
that you got healthy and lost weightis a sign of fat phobia. One
more, and I honestly wish thatI can be a little and we're happy
in regards to my weight, butI'm always obsessing over everything that I eat
and my weight change. And it'sdefinitely something that I have to work on
because I can't be afraid of gainingtwo or three pounds, you know,
(24:15):
like that's not really gonna make muchof a difference, but it does trigger
me because I'm so scared of goingback to anywhere I or anywhere near where
I was. She's fat phobic onherself, which is you know, I
mean again the wokeness, the wackedness. We talk about this kind of stuff,
but the fact that she's in herown mind is recognizing that she's fat
(24:40):
phobic on what she used to be. That's the way you should be.
Again. It's not about not likingsomebody who's overweight, nutritional, overchiever,
I'm fatty. It's not about that. It's about the reality of healthiness and
people trying to lose weight. TheManjaro thing is very interesting. I came
across this yesterday on CNN by aguy named Brad Olson. He's lost a
(25:02):
ton of weight and on Manjaro, and he's approaching this in a way that
I think a lot of people aretrying to figure out if they can approach
it this way. I think moreand more people, partly because of the
expense, so people having to payout of pocket. But for some people,
I think they're trying to use itas a jump start. And I
(25:22):
just felt like, well, Icould do this temporarily and then maybe I
could come off and like hold onto the gains, you know, if
it works. What did your doctorthink of that plan? Who thought that
was not a great plan. It'snot a great plan, so as doctor
thinks, But it was costing hima thousand dollars a month. Are people
using There are people out there thatuse it as a jumpstart. Absolutely,
(25:44):
I've known a couple of them. They use it as a jump start.
They drop thirty pounds, but asthey're doing that, they're starting to eat
healthy again, they're starting to workout again, they're starting It's like it's
it's it's it's it's like getting ayou know, remember when you used to
have a car that was a stick. For those of you who don't notice,
stick is these stick shift there's it'san old thing, and you know
(26:04):
you're like, hey, dude,I need you to push me. I'm
gonna pop the clutch and we're goingto go. It's like that is what
some people are using it as,and doctors are saying, yeah, I
know if you should do that,And the evidence for what happens when you
stop these drugs is not on Broad'sside. I don't think it's fair to
say it's about willpower. Doctor JorgeMoreno is an obesity specialist at Yale Medicine
(26:29):
for people who do come off ofit. Have you had patients who've been
able to sustain their results over alonger period of time with Balkan drugs.
Yeah, so I would say thatthat's a minority of the patient. Weight
regain is also, just like weightloss, heterogeneous, and that is where
more research needs to be done. Why is one patient able to keep the
(26:51):
weight off after coming off these medicationsand why are some people gaining all the
way back? Some of it isgenes, but a vast majority of it,
I bet you find out has todo with the fact that some people
use as strictly as weight loss, and their goal was to use it as
a magic elixir and never to changeanything outside of that. Other people use
(27:11):
it as Hey, I'm gonna droptwenty thirty pounds maybe more, and while
I'm doing this, I'm gonna walk, I'm going to start lifting weights,
I'm going to work out. They'regoing to put effort in to maintaining a
healthy lifestyle, not just losing theweight. I think that's kind of what
that's about. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four

Chad Benson likes his meals, you'vecome to the perfect place for takeout.
I can tell if you're a liberalor a conservative by the foods you eat.
If you drink your coffee black, you are conservative. If you drink
like a gingerbread, oat milk, macha laze, I don't know, then
you're probably a liberal. If youwake up and you make like overnight oats
and like avocata toast, you're probablya liberal. You wake up and down
(29:26):
a plate of bacon and eggs,or if you straight up skip breakfast altogether,
then you're probably a conservative. Ifyou're drinking plant based milk, you're
probably a liberal. If you arestraight up drinking raw milk, you probably
live near a farm and you're aconservative. If you go out to eat
and you're going to like chopped orsweet cream, then you're probably a liberal.
If you're in the burger King drivethru, then you're a conservative.
Oh, I was at burger Kingthe other day. You were. You
(29:49):
can kind of tell. Let's bereal, you can kind of tell not
a lot of vegan conservatives out there. That's where we are now in the
split. The chasm afaration is youcan in a way, this guy's kind
of right, you kind of know, oh wow. Just based on snacks
(30:11):
and food and whatnot. The onlyplace in America where liberals and conservatives can
coexist peacefully is Whole Foods. Andif you take a look at their shopping
carts, they're very different. Everything'sorganic, but they're very different. Basically,
liberals want everything to be sustainable andgood for the planet. Conservatives are
convinced that the government and big foodis trying to poison us. Liberals will
have like kombucha, La croix, arugula, maybe some gluten free pasta,
(30:33):
and conservatives will have grass fed, grass finish, steak, raw honey,
wild caught salmon, beef, tallowand maybe some pasture raised eggs. All
story short, liberals eat too manyplants. They do eat a lot of
plants, and plants have feelings,as we all know. If you're a
vegan conservative, I would like toknow that text me three two, three,
(30:56):
five, three eight twenty four twentythree at Chad Benson Show is your
Twitter? I have friends who areDemocrats, though liberal, some of them
uber progressive. And you know what, one of my best friends of all
time, his ex is super liberal, Like he's liberal, but she's like
progressive in a way that you're justlike whoa. And we would have barbecues
(31:18):
at their house and he would eatthe like the this is well before beyond
meat. They would eat those horribleveggie burgers, and then we would have
real burgers, and he would lookat us like these sons, like,
oh my god, I want someof those, but I can't because you'll
get mad at me. And she'slike it tastes I'm like, no,
(31:42):
it doesn't. Don't even pretend itdoesn't. It doesn't taste anything like it.
It doesn't even come close to it. It is not even real food.
Oh geez ah. The trial isunderway. They have jurors for the
Alec Baldwin case eleven women and fivemen now seated. One juror an employee
(32:05):
for the state of New Mexico whohas experience investigating mistakes on the job.
At least two are gun owners, another previously served on a grand jury,
and only two jurors said they'd neverheard about the case in any form what
I'm always curious, what do youmean you've never heard of this in any
(32:27):
form? Like? Where are youthat you've never heard? You don't have
to know the ins and outs, but you should at least know that Baldwin
that it was in the news.Do you pay no attention? That's kind
of scary. It's just me,It's just me. Remember when he went
on with Stephanopolis. Man, Stephanopolisgets all this stuff. I would never
point a gun to anyone, topull a trigger at them. Never.
(32:50):
Never. That was the training thatI had. You don't point a gun
as man pull trigger. No youdon't. So we shall see Hannah Goutia's
the armors already got what I thinkeighteen months for the death. And this
is and we talked a bit aboutit yesterday. The big win he got
when they on Monday decided to separateAlec Baldwin the person on trial as an
(33:15):
actor and not a producer, becauseas a producer he would have overseen a
ton of stuff and could it wouldhave been probably easier to get a conviction,
but the prosecution could make their case. You can always text the show.
But when you text that line threetwo three five three eight, twenty
(33:37):
four to twenty three. When youdo, you can also leave a message
if you want to call in.Somebody called in about Baldwin saying, eh,
this is his fault. Is Falkelcall out for ched Benson. On
the Alec Baldwin bit, there's twochief reasons why he's culpable. One's a
hunter education and one from my experiencein moving and film. The first rule
(33:58):
of hunter education is muddle control. That what the control where you're pointing it.
On TV and movie sets, atleast among professionals, the guns are
tweeted as loaded. So even whenpantomiming with a trop gun or a blank
firing gun, we don't aim themat the person. We aim it off
center, off the side the head. That's what cameras do is ena over
(34:22):
that. You just don't aim alittle weapon at a person, no matter
what I think. That's what they'regoing to go with. You aimed pulled.
His thing is I never pulled thetrigger. It went off on its
own, and that's going to behis defense. But this all starts with
the fact that the armor didn't doher job, and there was tons of
(34:45):
red flags too. That's the otherside of it. The red flags.
And this is where the producer sideof him not being tried as a producer
of the movie, but just asthe actor in this incident, he's given
kind of a pass because as aproducer, you should know what's going on
on the set, and the realityof this situation was everybody knew that this
(35:07):
person should not have been the armor, and there was tons of red flags
before this. So while there'll belots of money paid out, I don't
think he's going to be convicted ofthis. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twentythree. That is the text line.
It is also the line you cancall and leave a message for us
(35:31):
on any of the things we're discussing, any of the topics right here on
the Chad Benson Show coming up nexthour. A lot of stuff still to
get to more on obviously Biden. What's going to happen? What's the next
step? They're all backtracking, butthen some of them aren't backtracking. It's
really weird. Is there this sensethat it's too late now? It's a
(35:54):
struggle out there if you're a Democrat, because you know, as we've talked
about it, you can't scream andyell democracy is the most important thing,
and it's on the ballot. Andat the same time you're lying to the
American people, and other people maybe making big decisions because you cannot.
That is not about the love ofthe country. That's about ego and protection
(36:15):
of whatever it is that you're tryingto protect. Probably all the stuff you're
getting used to. We'll talk alittle bit about that, a lot of
other woke stuff to get to.It is the Chad Benson Show. This
is the Chad Benson Show, Independentthoughts, independent life. This is Chad
(36:53):
Benson. Somebody text into the program, which you can always do at three
two, three, five, threeeight, twenty four twenty three, Jed,
why aren't you talking about Donald Trump'smental instability? You never mentioned that.
It's been mentioned for years. Ifyou don't believe me, here's some
(37:15):
stuff going back to twenty nineteen.I have nine more minutes of this if
you'd like, but I'll just giveyou a minute. This is scary hashtag
twenty fifth Amendment. President is notequipped to do the job should he be
removed from office. His brain issimply incapable of processing the information. Emotionally
(37:38):
psychologically unstable initiate proceedings to remove thepresident. You and several of your Democratic
House colleagues met with the psychiatry professorfrom Yale, doctor Bandy Lee. She
told ce An End Today. Quoteas the president is unraveling. He seems
to be losing his grip on realityand reverting to conspiracy theories. Doctor Lee
and other psychiatrists who've been up tomeet with members of Congress have been predicting
(38:02):
increasingly delusional and heronoid behavior on thepart of the president. The president is
dangerous and unable to successfully meet thepowers and duties of office. We got
serious stuff to deal with, andinstead we're caught up every day in what
looks like the country debating the mentalhealth of the president. That's just a
(38:22):
minute. There's plenty more. Iget you some a little bit later.
That was about Trump, and youknow what, I'm one hundred percent behind
testing Trump. Let's do it.Let's do it both instead of the next
debate. Let's give them cognitive testand dependent and we'll release it live to
the public. If we're not goingto have a golf match, which I'm
(38:45):
all for as well, let's dothat. And if Trump fails, then
you know what, gotta go bro. If Biden fails, gotta go bro.
If they both fail, bye, guys. If Trump passes and Biden
passes, well then there you haveit. It's funny because you hear the
(39:06):
every day. You know, well, we gotta test Trump too. We
got Trump's been saying, let's doit. Fine, let's do it.
Let's do it. I'm saying let'sdo it. I am, But you've
been saying this for years. See, here's the problem with what's going on
in the media world when it comesto Trump. There's been so many lies,
(39:29):
so many falsehoods, so much overreaction, so many times you screamed about
the wolf. So many times youdid this, and now nobody buys it
because they've all ended up being bshalf truth or quotes that were a minute
long that you took four seconds fromsaying crazy stuff. Isn't being mentally incapacitated
(40:00):
say crazy stuff? Everybody does. We're not talking about just some of the
things you say or even ask.You only have to listen to Biden,
you could watch him. One ofthe reasons the polls didn't while they've moved,
they didn't jump big time is becausethe rest of the country already knew
(40:22):
what the media wouldn't cover. It'sdoctor Tom Pitts. He's some sort of
doctor of neurology or something like that. It seems to be like he kind
of knows what he's talking about. Was on NBC. I think they were
a bit shocked to find out whatthis guy thinks. Just from the view.
Have you noticed it not the televisionshow, the view of television watching
(40:44):
it, not the view itself, but Biden and his mannerisms. Have you
noticed anything that gives you a redflag as a doctor? Oh? Yeah,
says he has just classic features ofNERD degeneration. I mean word finding
difficulties. And that's not oh Icouldn't find the word. That's from degeneration
of the word retrieval area. He'salso overcome stuttering though, could that be
part of that too. No,this is not a palattle issue or a
(41:05):
speech discrepancy, which is very differentfrom a lemon no dysfunction, actual word
retrieval where you pick a similar questionor talk around the issue. Plus the
rigidity monotone voice. Wait, goback to that. The rigidity, rigidity,
loss of arms, swinging standing uplord doedically you notice when he turns.
It's kind of end block turning. It's not a quick turn. And
I love that point where the mediaalways puts out, well, he's got
(41:30):
a stutter. Anybody remember mel tellUs He had a stutter, but he
could seeing. But when he washaving a conversation, it wasn't mumble and
then say bizarre stuff like we readmet. It was you know, people
(41:51):
out there have overcome those things. This isn't about a stutter. Is it
that hard? Or you that crazedabout wanting to win so bad? Which
is what it is. It's aboutholding onto power. It's about winning,
is what it is. I hateTrump so much. I got no bram
(42:13):
with that. Not a huge fanof Trump. I think he's funny.
Do I think he's the most dangerousperson on the planet. I don't do.
I think he kisses people off,and I will tell you this,
do I think he is an absolutemassive troll. And I'm not talking about
his looks. I'm talking about youknow, online troll. For those of
you out there, my uncle handlesour Facebook. My uncle is a giant
(42:37):
troll. And since I've gotten myFacebook hacked, I don't even go over
to that Facebook anymore. And He'sall, when somebody says that you're crazy
and you're racist, just tell himyour giant Mexican uncle is the one handling
the Facebook thing makes me. Hetrolls because he knows it gets a reaction.
I handle Twitter and Instagram. Ihate to break it to you.
(42:58):
Yes, I mean I go overto Facebook as that possibly can. But
it's Twitter and Instagram's kind of whatI do. And all the show stuff.
There's a lot of stuff going onin our show. But I will
tell you this right now. Trumpis a troll. He loves reactionary stuff.
Saying crazy things isn't something that isout of the ordinary. When you're
looking for reaction to something. Youjust have to look at Biden and understand
(43:23):
it's not a stutter thing. Hecan't find the words. He doesn't just
get lost in something. He doesn'teven know what he's talking about and why
he's there talking about it. Andthen the body thing. And when you
see the body thing and what hesaid, you ever had a stiff neck
and you have to turn your wholebody. That's not a stiff neck for
(43:45):
him. Look at his arms wherethey don't move. The rigidity. Doctor
Tom Pitts continues, that's where thehallmarks of Parkinson's is rigidity and brady kinesias,
slow movement. And how's that hallmark? Especially with the low voices?
Said it was a cold hypophonia.A small monotone voice like this over time
(44:07):
is a hallmark of parkinsonism. Icould have diagnosed him from across the mall.
Yeah, it's a hallmark. Shufflinggait. We call that so little
steps, loss of arms swing fromthe rigidity. When we walk, we
have a nice cadence. He youknows, he doesn't really swing his arms
and n block turning, meaning hekind of pivots around his foot. Yeah,
he could have diagnosed him from acrossthe mall, which is what everybody
(44:30):
has done, because everybody who understandswhat's going on. And this has nothing
to do with politics, right orleft. I'm just saying, could look
and see somebody who is struggling thefact that the media either lied or wasn't
curious. I don't know which isworse. Which is worse? Continue?
(44:54):
Doctor, one of the easier movementdisorders to diagnose. Actually right, but
it's so clinic. There's very littleother and I'm you know, I'm a
Democrat, I always say, yeah, at this right, It's just like
this guy is not a hard case. I mean, if a med student
did not pick Parkinson's on the test, they just mediated. You mean,
they wouldn't have looked at him,not being able to not just find words,
(45:15):
but to lose thought, not understandwhere they are, couldn't move their
body the way they used to shuffle, and they put down. I think
that guy's get a stutter. No, let me ask you, a Democrat,
you're a doctor. You sound likeyou're frustrated with what the White House
is saying. Yeah, why well, because you know, I'm an American
(45:35):
before everything, and I look atit and say, when I used to
see Russia, Soviet Union, NorthKorea when they just make out rageous things,
you know, like when when NorthKorea can't keep the lights on and
they say, oh, you know, it was some faulty power thing.
I kind of hate that kind ofstuff. They had four years, my
own party had four years to findyou know, this was a rec and
slow motion and they had four yearsto find out of three hundred and fifty
(45:55):
Americans, one person that could takethe place. And here we are the
day before school trying to do thehomework and replace a guy who's got a
NERD degenerative disease. Pretty damn spoton. I'm an American first, not
a Republican, not a Democrat. My buddy Gatos was due an afternoon show
with say, I'm not a Republican, I'm not a Democrat. I'm a
(46:17):
skeptic. I completely agree logical liberalsright, reasonable Republicans, the average American,
you understand what's going on. You'renot an idiot. They take you
for an idiot, but you're not. This is not about democracy because if
you care about democracy first and foremost, he needs to go because I don't
(46:45):
think he's capable of finishing the jobin the right way and giving it everything
he needs to. And I thinkthere are too many people who have surrounded
him who are doing their own bidding, that are usurping the democracy that they're
(47:07):
screaming about. From a human standpoint, what's going on, I think is
elder abuse. I think it isawful. I think the way that this
is going down in front of hereyes is a cringe worthy moment. You
(47:27):
ever watch a movie, and I'mnot talking about some weird violent movie or
some monster movie, I'm talking abouta movie where somebody's going to embarrass themselves.
Somebody's gonna do something so cringe worthyyou want to turn your head or
fast forward through it. That's whatI feel likes going on, and I
(47:49):
feel like we're being gas lit bya bunch of people who are either stupid
or truly believe that they're fooling theAmerican people. Three two, three,
five eight, twenty four to twentythree at Chadminton Show with your Twitter tweet
at us text to program. Somuch stuff to get through, some woke

they were hungry. I said toyou know what, I'm gonna try rough
Greens. They added nutrition, andmy dogs would just gobble up the whole
bowl immediately. We now feed themon a schedule, which is better for

them, no doubt. And I'veseen an uptick in their energy for sure,

that's roughgreens dot com slash Chad fora free bag of Roughgreens. You cover
the cost of shipping. It isthe Chad Benson Show. You're listening to
(49:50):
the Chad Benson Show. Well, guys, it's been over a week and
a half since the presidential debate andDemocrats are still divided over whether President Biden
should stay in the race and getthis new pole show that Hillary Clinton would
beat Trump in a one on onematchup. Once you heard Hillary burst into
the Democratic meeting like the kool aidman, Oh yeah, I'm in.
I don't know if Hillary's interested, but she just dropped off two hundred pantsuits
(50:12):
at the drag Clinton. Hey,now I know it's Hillary, it's Michelle.
It's all of the who. Firstof all, Michelle wants no part
of this. I've said that foryears. She wants no part of this.
She doesn't Hillary. You never cantell. But you're also getting to
(50:34):
the point where it's like that shiphas sailed. I think her fear is
that the only way I think shewould do it is if they came to
her and they said, we needyou to be on the ticket. You
don't have to do anything, We'regoing to do everything. And even then
Bill, but like, I don'treally know, I don't know. But
they're starting to run all these mockpolls to say, Okay, who could
(50:58):
beat Trump? Who couldn't be Idon't know if there's anybody that could be
Trump at this moment in time.I don't outside of Trump, himself.
I just I don't think they're atthis moment in time, because it's easy
to throw people out there when you'reyou're just saying, well, what about
this person? What about that person? But you're not looking at the baggage.
(51:22):
You're just throwing out a name.Eh yeah, yeah, so uh,
we'll see. I keep saying it. I think it's gonna be comlin.
I think she's gonna be president soonerrather than later, and it it's
gonna have nothing to do with theelection. I think the desperation of the
(51:45):
Democrats and their ideology and their wackinessthat they're push all this stuff, this
DEI crap and it's all I thinktheir desperation is going to be let's force
him out. Worst case scenario,we'll give her every opportunity. But we
can also say we did it.We got the first black woman. We'll
get Pete bodagech's vice president, sowe could check all of the boxes.
(52:10):
Oh my goodness. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four twenty three at Chad Benson Showis your Twitter tweet at his text the
program Columbia University. I don't knowif you guys are aware of this it's
got some serious issues. We're goingto talk about that coming up on the
Wokeness. And they're crazy anti Semitismthat has grown to the point of insanity.
(52:37):
Well, they finally made some movesat Columbia that are long overdue.
And when you hear this story, you're going to go, are you kidding
me? How did this go onfor so long? It's simple, this
wacky ideology at these universities has allowedit to be this way. Talk about
that in a bit on the ChadBenson Show. But before any of that,
(52:58):
Jerome Powell, in light of theprogress we've made both in lowering inflation
and in cooling the labor market overthe past two years, elevated inflation is
not the only risk we face.Reducing policy restraint too late or too little
could unduly weaken economic activity and employment. Fed chairs your own power, it
(53:19):
doesn't seem likely that the next policymove would be a rate increase. We
don't take things like that off thetable, but that does not seem the
likely direction. The likely direction doesseem to be in as we make more
progress and inflation, and as thelabor market remains strong, we begin to
loosen policy at the right moment.Oh my god, he is boring.
Well that's what you want for Yeah, I know that's what you want from
(53:40):
your fed chair. But every oncein a while, yelling and want somebody
like this is what they need toget actors go out there and act this
out. Let me tell you guyssomething right now, we haven't beat inflation
the way we wanted to at thismoment in time when the kickets asked,
you guys know that I'm doing mybest a hike likely. I'm not saying
it won't happen, but I'm notsaying it will. What I am saying
(54:06):
is things go the way we think. Maybe got a little bit you don't
know. That's why you get astay tune something like that. It'd been
a little bit more entertained. SomeWalpe stuff coming up. Don't go anywhere.
This is the Chad Benson Show,The Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts,
(54:40):
Independent life. This is Chad Benson. He's sharpest before eight pm.
So say that the Pentagon at somepoint picks up an incoming nuke. It's
eleven pm. Who do you callthe first lady? He has a team
that lets him know of any ofany news that is impertinent and important to
the American people. He has someonethat is decided obviously with his National Security
(55:04):
Council, and who gets to tellhim that news. So he's got somebody
to tell him. Wake him up. It's too early. Don't wake them
up. I think that's a fairquestion to ask. Remember, Doucy,
there has been asking the real questionswith a few others over the last couple
of years, and they've been theonly ones. Everybody else has ignored it
or said it was right wing talkingpoints. All of those things, some
(55:25):
of the stuff you know that theytalk about. Parkins were talking about earlier
cognitive changes. One of the symptomsdifficulty concentrating, remembering if O, finding
words, planning and completing activities, slowed thinking, difficulty with mental calculations,
measuring distance and depth, dementia. As the disease progresses, about four and
five people developed dementia. Just afew of the things when it comes to
(55:46):
Parkinson's. And remember he's had Parkinson'sexperts in there. Even though they say
it's about other people, I don'tthink people are buying it anymore. It's
Wednesday, people. Shall we wepivot from this to get woke Buckle up,
everybody, It's time to talk aboutmy When babies are born, the
doctor looks at them and they makea guess about whether the baby is a
boy or a girl. But sometimesthe doctor is wrong. She Lucy is
(56:10):
a ghost? Are pronoun they them? They? There was two of them
fun yesterday. I came out oftransform family. Don't let's go rockrocks pronouns.
That sounds so cool. Let meintroduce you to our non binary I
am non binary and I use theythem pronouns. And my students know this.
(56:30):
We just came up with new wordsthat fit us better. It's fine.
What if I want to be calledsir Elton Johnson. It's time for
woke Wednesday pronoun time, kids, because it matters, apparently to a younger
generation who's got nothing else to bepissed about. So they're pissed about the
fact that they've been labeled wrong. So you better figure out what their pronoun
(56:51):
is. For me, a bigpart of the appeal of using idiots pronouns
is the fact that they're dehumanizing.Because of a huge cocktail of trauma and
abuse and neurodivergence and my own queerness, I don't really click with humanity like
I just don't vibe with it.So basically, I like to use its
pronouns for myself as a way tosort of reclaim the dehumanization other people are
(57:16):
forced upon me. I see neurodivergent, somebody's got special needs, somebody's probably
on the spectrum, and that spectrum, but by the way, has expanded
tremendously, which I think is abig issue. We've seen it in our
family with people are on the spectrumand this push of weird gender ideology and
this craziness about it and how theymanipulate a lot of these young kids who
(57:39):
are confused and already having issues continuepronoun person. Another part of the appeal
for me, at least is thefact that it makes people uncomfortable. What
I mean by that is that sometimespeople want to push me into certain boxes
that they deemed as harmless for theirown comfort, and I'm tired of that.
I'm tired of being humanized with thecomfort of other people. Because of
(58:00):
the fact that I'm queer and neurodivergentand look the way that I do.
People call me freak a lot oftimes, and they're right about that,
and I'm fine with it because Idon't want to be humanized for other people's
comfort. So basically, I liketo use its pronouns for myself. Go
ahead, call yourself whatever you want. Unemployed might be one of them who
wants a bracelet. I just madepronoun bracelets, and I would like to
(58:22):
explain them. This one stands forhe him so green and blue, more
masculine colors, I get. Thisone stands for she her so pink and
purple, more feminine color. Andthen this one stands for they them,
and it's yellow and orange, whichare like ginger neutral colors. When I
wear this one, it means thatI just go buy them. When I
wear these two together, it meansI go by she them. When I
(58:43):
wear these together, it means theygo by he them. When I wear
all of them, it means thatI go by all pronouns. I'm gonna
wear them all right now, becauseI go buy all pronouns right now.
My pronoun like preference has changed threetimes today. You're disturbed. That's somebody
who's mentally has a serious problem.I've said this. If you want to
change your name, do it.You get it one. You're not changing
(59:07):
your gender twelve times in the day, three times throughout the day. You
know, earlier I was they them, I'm now she her. No,
sorry, your name is Karen, and we're gonna call you that, oh,
because she's a Karen, just becausethat's the name I came up with
at that moment in time. Whateverher name is, just call it.
But this is the wacky stuff that'scoming to work near you, and you
(59:30):
must push back on this gender ideology. This crazy chaos is the reason that
you have to sit through copious amountsof you have to sift through hours of
literature at work and watch stupid assvideos at work because it's all about inclassivity.
And this is why right here,Because you got a twenty three year
(59:51):
old with a nose ring, twelvedifferent colored hairs, who wants to be
treated as something special or else. They don't want to be treated like the
person you get treated as or theperson next to you. They want special
recognition. A speaking of that, and a lot of this starts in college.
(01:00:13):
As we all know, Columbia Universityhas an issue being completely anti semitic.
I don't think that's fair. Well, I think we've seen it,
we've absolutely seen it. And whathave I said about the Jews. The
Jews problem is they look white. That's your problem. That's your problem right
there. But again, nobody caresthat Ukraine is getting bombed by Russia.
(01:00:34):
Well, it's two white European countriesfighting. Nobody's pissed off in marching in
the streets because of what's going onin Haiti. There's a bunch of people
that look the same fighting. ButPalestine, Oh it's brown oppressed person queers
for Palestine. Yeah, whatever,Just ridiculous. So after all the stuff
that went down to Columbia, theyhad a big to do about everybody getting
(01:00:57):
together, including all the deans andeverything, where they were going to have
a chat and have an open discussionand a big forum about anti Semitism,
and lo and behold, somebody tookpictures of some of the deans who were
texting back and forth saying horrific thingsabout what was going on, including the
rabbi and some of the people thatwere speaking there, which is crazy.
(01:01:22):
So they're at an anti semitic kindof let's all get together and talk about
being more inclusive, and while they'redoing that, they're shooting text back and
forth to each other saying how horrible. These people are. Following the Congressional
hearing on anti Semitism in April andstudent protests over the Israel Hamas Whar in
May, Columbia University held a paneldiscussion during reunion weekend called Jewish Life on
(01:01:44):
Campus. Text messages from the CongressionalCommittee on Education show four administrators who oversee
student life in different capacities were ina group text mocking the speakers addressing anti
semitism. For example, Matthew Patashniksaid he knows exactly what he's doing and
how to take full advantage of thismoment, huge fundraising potential. Kristin Cram
(01:02:07):
said, amazing what money can do. It's antasemitic tropes, which we've heard
before and we've seen where that's gone. Didn't feel comfortable being Jewish on campus,
and the reason it's coming up isbecause they finally decided to do something
with those deans as they should. So think about this. They're all about
inclusivity. If you would have doneanything to a marginalized group, you would
(01:02:30):
have been oh, they would havethrown you out of campus and all these
things. These people are openly antiSemitic, repeating horrible stereotype after Horror's stereotype
about Jewish kids and the Jewish faithin people, and it took congressional hearings
and several other things like being calledout in the media for them to do
(01:02:51):
anything. In a letter Monday,Columbia University's president said the comments were not
only unprofessional, but also disturbingly touchedon ancient anti isomitic tropes. She said
Petashnik Crumb and Susan Chang Kim havebeen removed from their dean positions permanently,
but Dean Joseph saw Itt apologized andwill work to rebuild trust. A rep
(01:03:12):
for Columbia's president declined our request foran on camera interview. When we asked
why one of the deans was allowedto remain in his position, we did
not get a reply. Shame shameon you. Columbia and the rest of
these ridiculous college campus has allowed thisto run wild, all the while screaming
that this group's fascist, or thatyou're this or you're that. Remember,

Chad Benson Show Irreverence Like yeah,so what it's the chat ventson show.
(01:05:15):
John never really imagined this would growso much when he first hosted about a
dozen people for the inaugural Cat Tourback in twenty seventeen. For years,
he used to just enjoy seeing allthe cats watching over the neighborhood from their
thrones and thought it'd be funny tohost sort of a fake architecture tour where
you were really just looking for thefluffy felines. And as this annual red
carpet of celeb kitties continues to grow, John says he now feels the event
(01:05:40):
is not just about the cats.I'm really grateful because it's become like a
community building event. Yeah, thisis the Minnesota Cat Tour. It's where
they you know, like if you'dever done like a walk like people decorate
their houses for Christmas. These peopleget together, they go wander around the
neighborhood look for cats. I waslike four oder people walking up and down
(01:06:00):
the street looking for cats. I'mlike, are you kidding me? Yeah,
yeah, hey, look there's one. It's like a house cat.
I would like to release a lionand see how that goes. I found
it. It's eating ben. It'snot very nice speaking of stuff like that.
It is that portion of the programwhere we talk about nature doing what
(01:06:24):
nature weirdless you because it will absolutely, first and foremost, don't be an
idiot. That's hard for a lotof people to understand. Beryl Barrel,
(01:06:44):
True, parts of Texas not alot, and you can do about that.
But the heat in the Southwest, stay indoors, drink a lot of
water. But some people want tomake an adventure, and Death Valley seems
to be that place. Death ValleyNational Artificials reporting an increase in rest thank
you, with one motorcyclist dying fromheat related illness deth allly. It is
a dry heat, but that dryheat is pretty intense, so when you
(01:07:06):
step out of your vehicle, it'slike stepping your entire body out into an
oven. I have been there duringthe heated times, lived in Palm Springs
not too far away. You've justgot to be careful. And every year,
at this time of year in particular, you get people that come over
(01:07:28):
from all over the world and theywant to go there, and you know
what they don't do. They don'ttake any water with them. They'll go
hiking, and they think it's we'regonna go in the morning. It's gonna
be totally fine. We're gonna gohiking. Everything's gonna be and it's not.
Part of the nature messing you upis the fact that you don't understand
nature and or common sense. Imaginethis phone call speaking of nature. Nature
(01:07:50):
messed this person up twenty two yearsago. You're sitting at home one day
and you get a phone calls tryingI'm in Peru and I found your dad.
That's it. You're like, whatwait, what huh? Yeah,
a mumma fied body of a mountainnear I guess you would call them same
(01:08:15):
as William Staffle. He and twoother buddies were hiking a I think it's
the fourth largest peak in South Americaand they're in Peru and a massive avalanche
comes and kills him. And ifyou guys know anything, you listen to
(01:08:39):
the show, you don't recover bodieswhen you're at a certain level. And
this was one that was not goingto be recovered, except these guys recovered
it. And that was a veryinteresting story. We'll get to that in
a second. But there she isjust at home. Next thing, you
know, I mean, your dad'sgone. You know he's gone, but
he's not home. It's just ashock, and you know, we accepted
(01:08:59):
the that he was going to bepart of the mountain and never be found.
So the fact that he is foundis just a little surreal, unbelievable.
I bet it is. That's justgot to be, you know,
just crazy, just getting a phonecall, Hey, we found your dad.
(01:09:21):
And apparently what happened is they findthis body. It's preserved. Some
of the ice is melting away. It's climate change, okay, whatever,
and some of the ice is meltingaway. And they go into this guy's
they find him and they're like, who is this guy? You know,
somebody's up here. Somebody's fathers,he's brother's son, whatever. And they
(01:09:41):
look into his wallet and everything ispreserved, his passport, his license,
They got back down from the mountainand they made a couple quick internet searches,
found his daughter. And this iswhat they had to say about the
whole situation. That's where we're meantto be, Like we were meant to
summit that day. We were meantto find Bill, and we were meant
(01:10:02):
to bring Bill home and give hisfamily closure. Bill should be home next
week. They say that, Ithink they're going to cremate the body,
and then his body should be homenext week. But it shows you again
nature messing you up, and finallynature messing you up today. Two animal
attack stories. Another woman has beenswallowed by a giant reticulated python. This
(01:10:28):
is the second one in the lastcouple of weeks. Thirty six year old
one we went missing after she lefther house last Tuesday to buy medicine for
a sick child. They could notfind her. Finally they found her slippers
and pants on the ground about fivehundred meters from their house. And then
they found a ginormous snake and yes, the snake was still alive and she
(01:10:50):
was dead. The beauty of wherewe live is you don't have to worry
much about those kind of things happeningunless, of course, you live in
Florida and some of these other placewhere it's not gonna happen. But I'm
just pointing that out. But thensometimes we as human beings decide we're gonna
go to nature and we're gonna makeit fun. We're gonna go to one
of the reserves. What don't youdo with the reserves? Get your ass
(01:11:11):
out of the car. Spanish touristshas been gored and stopped to death by
a elephant during breeding season because theywanted a better picture upon into the into
the reserve, the guests needs toactually sign that they take notice of the
(01:11:32):
of the rules and regulations, andI think the first rule on that list
is for people not to invove fromthe from the vehicle. Yeah, it's
a spokesperson for the reserve. Thefirst rule of fight clubs, don't talk
about fight club. The first ruleof nature reserve is don't get out of
(01:11:53):
the vehicle. And the most importantrule is if you do happen to get
out of the vehicle, don't doit around breeding elephants. Because the bull
had a separated himself from the packand then went and attacked. How is
your selfie? Nature will mess youup three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twentythree at Chad Benson Show, is your
(01:12:14):
Twitter tweet? Tax love? Hearingfrom all of you on the Chad Benson
Show. Coming up third hour.He got more woke stuff, crazy insanity.
The battle for Biden and his presidentiallife is continuing to go on,
and the flip flopping of Democrats whoit's going to be tough for them to
(01:12:40):
make an argument about democracy being onthe ballot. Talked about it earlier in
the show. When you are notdoing the right thing for the country by
allowing this to continue. Talk alot about that as well. We have
also got what's trending a bunch ofother things. If you miss any of
the show, shame on you.I'm kidding, go grab the podcast.
(01:13:02):
It is the Chad Benson Show. This is the Chad Benson Show, Independent
(01:13:30):
thoughts, independent life, this isChad Benson. Nancy Pelosi telling Biden maybe
it's time to rethink what that wouldbe. Somebody's got to do it.
Who's got the balls to do it? You're saying Nancy has balls. Well,
hey, in this day and age, you can't have anything. It
(01:13:51):
is woke Wednesday somebody's got to havethe cone, has to do it,
and somebody's got to have the strengthenough to go to Biden and say,
dude, no more, it's over. It's time to step away, go
enjoy your life. Ego. Wetalked about it yesterday. The humanity side,
(01:14:15):
every one of us who's dealt withsomebody who's elderly, who's gotten to
that point where they are loosen enoughat times throughout the day to realize that
they are not what they once were, that realize that there are issues going
on that they don't understand, whichis terrifying, that things are slipping away
(01:14:38):
from them, that the end isnigh, and that their independence and stuff
is good. That is tough. You you multiply that by the biggest thing
in the world for a human bethe president of the United States, as
far as a job man's that's gotto be tough. It's going to be
(01:15:00):
very tough. But it's obvious andI'm still waiting to find out what a
leader looks like who's going to standup and say no, you can't.
You're just saying that because you hateBiden. I don't actually want my presidents,
regardless of party, to succeed becauseit's a good thing. I don't
(01:15:23):
want them to fail. I don'twant them to be embarrassed. It's what
Americans do. Care about our country, want to see our country thrive and
do well. But everybody tiptoes theline because it's politics. It's the only
thing in the world that stops usfrom reality. It's politics. This was
any other situation. This is yourmother, your father, your grandmother,
(01:15:45):
your grandfather. The conversation would bethey've got X Y or Z dementia,
Parkinson's, Alzheimer's. We need totake away the keys. They can no
longer run the company. That's wherewe would be. But politics is something
that's so weird. Where we'll go? You know what, I know Dianne
Feinstein doesn't know where she's at.I know Dianne Feinstein can't walk anymore.
(01:16:11):
I know Dianne Feinstein still thinks shewas here, even though she's been gone
for four months and she was justhere the entire time. Can barely speak.
So we'll we'll allow her to vote. Good God, that's sick.
It is absolutely sick. What aboutDonald Trump? I'm glad you asked.
(01:16:33):
Like the media would never question DonaldTrump ever, they would never talk about
evoking the twenty fifth Amendment ever,Right, nobody, no other politician would
ever talk about any of that stuffever. Right, Let's go back.
I don't know pre Donald Trump's presidency. I got lots of minutes of these.
(01:16:56):
Here's another minute. Donald Trump passthe force test for personnel working with
nuclear weapons. Absolutely not without furtherevaluation. Twenty fifth Amendment at the moment
is the only thing we have duringthe twenty fifth Amendment without actually doing the
twenty fifth Amendment. Why can't theyjust be honest with America, come clean,
instead of protecting this president and possiblyharming the American people. They've made
(01:17:23):
a decision to execute the twenty fifthAmendment option of removing Donald Trump from the
presidency. They just haven't told himor us. He is a dangerous man
with a degree of mental and personalinstability that puts the country at risk.
The President of the United States isunfit to be president. Here comes the
cold, bony fingers of insanity andauthoritarianism to grab your ankle when your foot
(01:17:45):
drifts off the bed. Theoretically, the twenty fifth Amendment might be useful for
removing President Trump from the office ofthe presidency. The twenty fourth Amendments is
there so that you can use it. This was the first place where the
twenty fifth Amendment was discussed after DonaldTrump was inaugurated, exactly one month into
the Trump presidency. Wow, that'scrazy. Oh yeah, there's so much
(01:18:11):
more of that. I'm sure we'llplay it throughout the week. But I'm
just the the a month into hispresidency. Remember, this is how Trump's
presidency started day one Washington Post inaugurationday. The march to impeachment begins before
he was inaugurated. The BS dossierand this media has lied about this,
(01:18:42):
and I'm not talking about since dayone. I'm going to play something.
This was him running for the nominationversus him today, him running against Trump
versus him today, I'm talking aboutPresident Biden. I continue to think we
have to make fundamental changes civil rights, and those civil rights, by the
way, include not just only AfricanAmericans, but the LGBT community. He
(01:19:05):
wants to get away with get we'rerid of the ability of medicare for the
ability for the I did not opposebusting in America. What I opposed is
bussing ordered by the Department of Education. That's what I oppose making sure that
we're able to make every single solitaryperson eligible for what I've been able to
(01:19:29):
do with the UH, with theCOVID, I was gonna be with dealing
with everything we have to do withLook, if you will determine the outcome
of this election, vote, vote, vote. If you're able to vote
early in your state, vote early. If you're able to vote in person,
(01:19:50):
vote in person, vote whatever wayis the best way for you.
Because you will, he cannot stopyou. And I'm going to continue to
move until we get the total banand on I mean the total initiative relative
to what we're gonna do with moreborder patrol and more asylum officers. Don't
Trump. I really don't know whathe said at the end of this,
(01:20:12):
and I don't think he knows whathe said either. Man. That's a
stark difference, isn't it. Bigtime. I think a lot of people
thought he was going to be aplaceholder. He's gonna run once get the
country back on track coming out ofCOVID. It's gonna be the great superhero,
(01:20:39):
right. This is his swan song, and he's gonna steady the country
all of that stuff, and thenhe decided, And ego plays a huge
role in that. And you've gotpeople around you whose egos are big,
and you've got people around you whosejobs depend on you. And you've got
people around you who enjoyed the poweror who were drawn to it. The
(01:21:00):
greatest afadisiak his power and lo andbehold here we are. And when you
listen to that and juxtapose just afew years, Wow, do you think
that's getting better? The fact thatnobody is outside of nine so far are
willing to be honest with themselves andwith the people and saying, dude,
(01:21:27):
you need to go and not justso and so over here and such and
such, and we can't slit goingover in mass saying this isn't going to
happen. This is about you, your health and your family. This is
no longer about the country. Andif you have to then invoke the twenty
fifth Amendment. Does Kamala have theguts to do that? Because she has
(01:21:51):
to. It can't be just someblanket idea. The way the twenty fifth
Amendment works, give you a quickbreakdown. So the vice president and the
majority of the principal staffs right likethe executive departments, Congress. What they
do is they transmit to the President'spro Tempore of the Senate and the Speaker
(01:22:14):
of the House their declaration that thepresident is unable to discharge the powers of
the office, and that the VicePresident will immediately assume the powers and duties
of the office of the acting president. So that means the vice president and
the majority of the Cabinet can invokethe twenty fifth Amendment to suspend the president
(01:22:39):
from office. Do you think she'swilling to do that? If I was
her, Let me tell you somehere's your first test as a leader,
understanding what's best for the country. It's your first test as a leader if
you care. It's about It's notabout democracy. Big lie about democracy that
(01:23:00):
I hear all the times about this. It's not because this is truly about
democracy. He would step down becausehe's going to lose. He is going
to lose. This is one ofhis his surrogates, delegate holders California,
talking about him today. Yes,so you know, essentially, if Biden
(01:23:23):
ends up running, potentially the Democratscould lose the Senate, the House,
and the White House, and it'sgoing to be a blood pat the Blue
states that we have help for manydecades, might potentially turn red. Trump
is doing well when he runs againstBiden in those states, and then the
(01:23:43):
swing states, the battleground states, they are looking terrible. So at this
point, all the polling indicates thatTrump is going to win. So we
need to send the best of thebrightest out there to run against Trump.
He's beatable, but we need tosend somebody who's got the energy off a
mandarin chief. Here in Silicon Valley, we have had great leaders and companies
(01:24:04):
thrive because of good leaders. Atthis point, it's debatable if Biden can
lead a nation. You know, carrying the nuclip football is a huge deal,
and you're not sure right now ifBiden is going to be able to
do his job. It's not changing. None of that's going to change.
(01:24:25):
Well, my grandmother was diagnosed withdementia. It wasn't changing. There was
no getting better tomorrow. My grandfathergot Huntington's and started to really it started
to go south for him. Weknew that it wasn't changing. There was
(01:24:45):
no magic pill or alickxir. Therewasn't going to be anything that was going
to fix that. So to thinkthat if he gets through this NATO thing,
and it's okay, it's not if, But when he has another it's
not if. But when he dropsthe ball, it's not if. But
when he trips, he falls,he stumbles, he calls out the name

that's trending, and yes, theBubonic plague has been spotted. The
plague killed as many as fifty millionpeople in Europe in the fourteenth century.
It's lived on as part of culture, but it remains a real, although
rare illness. One of those rarecases was confirmed in Pueblo County, Colorado.
That's in the southeast part of thestate, which is within the larger
(01:29:47):
region of the US where plague ismost common, although there are only an
average of seven cases in the USper year. Antibiotics can treat the plague,
which is spread by flea bites.I think if armadillo's carry the plague,
so if you want to get oneas a pet, be aware of

Will they The next several days willbe very telling. Three two,
three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chat Benton
Show's your Twitter. It's a chatBenson Jow The Chat Show, Independent Thoughts,
(01:31:20):
Independent Life. This is Chad Benson. You are what you eat?
Well, maybe we can tell youwhat you are by what you eat.
What I can tell if you're aliberal or a conservative by the foods you
eat. If you drink your coffeeblack, you are conservative. If you
drink like a gingerbread oat milk machalaze, I don't know, then you're
(01:31:42):
probably a liberal. If you wakeup and you make like overnight oats and
like avocata toast, you're probably aliberal. You wake up and down a
plate of bacon and eggs, orif you straight up skip breakfast altogether,
then you're probably a conservative. You'redrinking plant based milk, you're probably a
liberal. If you are straight updrinking raw milk, you probably live near
a farm and you're a conservative. If you go out to eat and you're
going to like chopped or sweet cream, then you're probably a liberal. If
(01:32:03):
you're in the burger King drive through, then you're a conservative. Okay,
I had burger King the other day. It was delicious. You know what
they got rid of at Burger Kingthat I loved? They had the spicy
nuggets. Damn those things were good. I do like their chicken fries.
That's why the rest of the worldhates us. You know how you guys
(01:32:23):
got regular French fries. Yeah,we decided turn ours into chicken fries.
Continue tell us more liberal first, conservative food guy. The only place in
America where liberals and conservatives can coexistpeacefully is Whole Foods. And if you
take a look at their shopping carts, they're very different. Everything's organic,
but they're very different. Basically, liberals want everything to be sustainable and good
(01:32:43):
for the planet. Conservatives are convincedthat the government and big food is trying
to poison us. Liberals will havelike kombucha, la croix, arugula,
maybe some gluten free pasta, andconservatives will have grass fed, grass finish,
steak, raw honey, wild caughtsalmon, beef, tallow, and
maybe some pasture raised eggs. Storyshort, Liberals eat too many plants.
Liberals eat too many plants. Theydo shouldn't need plants. They've got feelings.
(01:33:08):
Speaking of feelings, it's Wednesday.Shall we get woke? This support
group is for people who are sowoke they're finding it impossible to have any
fun at all. It's that timeof the week where we break it down
for you and get you woke. It's all right on that way too,
It's all right. Let it out, Like, can we actually agree that
(01:33:30):
women get pregnant and not men?Oh? Dad, you wait? Women
raise the white boys who grew upto be little misogynistic patriarchal tyrants. I
am Kamala Harris, my plnounert andher. A woman sitting at the table
wearing a blue feet. It's timefor woke Wednesday soon to be our president.
(01:33:56):
Kamala Harris right there speaking U Governorof the Great State of Florida,
Rhonda Santis. You said something ridiculousthere. You said that women can get
pregnant. Excuse me, shouldn't usethe word women or whatever they call it
now. I don't think that's verynice. I think that's what they call
it. I don't make it upas someone who is currently pregnant. I
(01:34:17):
do not feel like a mother.I feel like a person who is pregnant,
a pregnant person. Now, theother response I get anytime I use
the phrase pregnant person instead of womenor mother, is this one you mean
woman? No, I don't,I mean pregnant person. This is a
classic right wing talking point by peoplewho are transphobic. They love to say
(01:34:38):
like, but only women can getpregnant biologically, which just for the record,
is not true. First of all, trans men can get pregnant.
So can non binary people, neitherof whom are women. By the way,
calling yourself non binary means nothing. It means nothing calling yourself non binary,
(01:35:02):
you still have all your bits andbiologically, only the females can get
pregnant. Now, you can claimto be anything you want to be,
right, you could say you're ElvisPresley and you're pregnant. But the fact
that and this is what I'm talkingabout, You know, this insanity of
the world we live in, whereyou are being told you have to believe
(01:35:24):
that a person with a penis isindeed a woman, and you have to
believe it, just like the guyon stage who's a president of the United
States and doesn't really understand what's goingon and look confused. Is insane person
and living a brilliant life, fullof energy and vitality, and you're just
(01:35:45):
an idiot for asking the questions continue, pregnant person, excuse me. Even
if you're the most transphobic piece ofgarbage and you think that anyone assigned female
at birth is a woman despite whattheir current gender presentation might be, it's
still fact actually incorrect to say thatonly women can get pregnant, because that's
ignoring the entire intersex community, anyof whom do not fall into the binary
(01:36:06):
of man or woman, but canstill get pregnant. The other thing I
find so ridiculous about people who havea problem with the term pregnant person or
birthing person. That the only reasonableway you can have a problem with that
is that you don't actually believe thatwomen are people, because the term pregnant
person encompasses anyone who can get pregnant, including women. So ridiculous. You're
(01:36:27):
the one who are trying to erasewomen. You are And this is why
I always said, ladies, yougot to stand up. If you want
to claim this back, you gotto stand up. If you want to
be strong about this, you gotto stand up. Can't expect everybody to
fight that battle for you, andeverybody standing behind you and we'll fight it
next you. But you got tobe the one and you listen to that
(01:36:48):
assigned it birth that is not assignsomething is like I got to sign this
homework, I got to sign thisroom in college. It's not you got
to sign you know, a womanwhen you're really a man. Oops,
(01:37:09):
we made a mistake. No,using more inclusive terminology to talk about pregnancy
and birth does not take anything awayfrom women, unless, of course,
you think that a woman isn't aperson. The term pregnant person encompasses all
of the people who can get pregnant, and yes, that is primarily women.
Thanks for that. What does thatmean? That's just everywhere. It's
(01:37:33):
all wrapped up together in a bigballup. Hey, don't believe your eyes,
don't believe your ears, don't believewhat you read, don't believe what
you see. Don't believe what you'retold, even though you're believe what we're
telling you to believe, not whatyou're told from somebody else who's standing next
(01:37:56):
to you saw the same thing andtold you, did you see that?
No? No, no, youdon't believe that person. That person's a
lot. Believe what we're telling youto believe. That's it. Believe it
or else. It's fifteen years ago. If somebody would have come to you
(01:38:17):
and said this guy over here ispregnant and he goes by they them,
you'd have been shut the hell up. Nowadays, you're like, oh,
that totally can happen, or elseor else. Mostly I feel feminine or
non binary. Today I'm feeling reallyfum. I also feel masculine, mostly
boyish. I don't ever really wanta who. I'm proud to have a
(01:38:44):
uh, but yeah it's I gothrough stages of feeling feminine, lon binary,
and sometimes boyish. So yeah, there you go. Depends better it
right too. You better know onthe day as you're talking to that person,
(01:39:04):
they them, she, her, maybe he him, what they are
at that moment in time or elsestraight to hr. Yeah, every transperson
like is like, yeah, I'ma male woman. Why can't you be
a male woman? Like? That'sthat's what y'all don't understand. Like,
yeah, I'm not I'm I'm notsaying i'm a woman. I've never said
that. I'm just saying I'm amale woman. Just treat me like a
(01:39:27):
woman. Okay, Hey, lookover there. What is That's a tall
midget? Yeah, that is atall midget right there. Okay, what
is it about six' eight Yeah, it's a tall ass midget. Who
that's a big, big old midget. Wow, look at that. That's
just god so insane. Three two, three, five, three eight,

up straight ahead. Chad Benson deepstates no deep doo doo Eyeah, the
Chad Benson Show. I'm going tosow frustrated by the elite in the party
because they know so much more. But any of these guys, I don't
(01:41:43):
think I should run against me.Go announce the president challenge man the convention.
Ugh, that makes me laugh. The elites, dude, fifty years
in politics. You don't think you'reone of the elites. You're one of
the elites, just being challenged becausethe elites want to hold power and like
(01:42:05):
anything right, Like if you watchin nature, the minute the leader of
the pack, if you will, can no longer function to produce the offspring.
Another challenge is going to come throughand there'll be a fight, and
if you win, you win.The problem is the fight. There was
(01:42:25):
no fight. They wouldn't allow anybodyelse to get involved, and in any
way, shape or form, inany way they tilted everything. We were
listening to Jim Garritty the other dayfrom our buddy from the National View saying
that they had changed so many ofthe rules, the way that they had
moved things around. They started withSouth Carolina. They got rid because they
didn't want any challenge. They wantedto make this as smooth as possible because
(01:42:46):
there were people who gonna throw theirhats in. They realized the deck was
stacked against them, so they didn'tdo it. So settle down with the
elites. The elites help you getto this point. You're just now being
told the truth. And America, you know, everybody's like, man,
the polls really haven't moved since thatwhole night of what took place in his
(01:43:09):
debate. I'm like, yeah, because America saw what was going on.
America was already there. It wasthe media and everybody else now who's like,
oh, yeah, it's really happening. Michael Bennett, a Democrat who's
not afraid to tell the truth.You. Senator John Tester and Senator Shared
Brown all said during that launch thatyou don't think Bresident Biden can win in
(01:43:30):
twenty twenty four. Is that true? Well, it's true that I said
that and I did say that behindclosed doors, and you guys and others
asked whether I had said it,and that is what I said, So
I figured I should come here andsay it publicly. Why do you think
you can't win in November. Ijust think this race is on a trajectory
that is very worrisome if you careabout the future of this country. And
(01:43:53):
that's one of the things we've beentalking about all day is if you're telling
me that democracy is right here,it's front and center, and it is
on the ballot, and then you'relying to the American people about how he
is mentally, you're not reassuring themin any way, shape or form,
(01:44:15):
not with your doctors, but withindependent people. And there are people behind
the scenes that are closing ranks andmaking decisions potentially that they shouldn't be making.
That is not democracy. Joe Bidenwas nine points up at this time.
At the last time he was running, Hillary Clinton was five points up.
(01:44:38):
This is the first time in morethan twenty years that a Republican president
has been up in this part ofthe campaign. Donald Trump is on track,
I think to win the selection andmaybe win it by a landslide and
take with him the Senate and theHouse. That's the other side of this
that isn't being talked about, whichis the down ballot tickets, where these
(01:45:04):
guys and gals think this guy's goingto be a drag on our ticket.
People just aren't going to show upand we're going to end up losing.
And Michael Bennett, a Democrat, totally honest saying, look, it's going
to get blown out. It couldget ugly. So you're worried that your
party is not just going to losethe White House if Joe Biden is at
(01:45:25):
the top of the ticket, butthat you're also going to lose both chambers
of Congress. I think that wecould lose the whole thing. And it's
staggering to me. I mean,Donald Trump's already been president. I thought
he was the worst president that we'veever had. He already took away,
you know, the right for womento be able to make their own decisions
around healthcare. He's already put threeextreme Supreme Court justices on the Court that
(01:45:46):
wouldn't even survive to vet in theold days. But these are all the
things he's already done. And today, as we're sitting here, he's three
and a half points ahead in thepolls. Yeah, and when you hear
three and a half points nationwide, pole, go and look at where it
was. That's a twelve and ahalf point difference from where it was when
(01:46:06):
they ran against each other last time. And it's only going to get worse.

love hearing from every single one ofyou at that time of the day where
we throw a little stupid information atyou. We talked enough politics, we

shall we? And then I goand spoil it all. I say something
stupid. It will take stupid tillsthis morning. It's the honest ones you

stupid information. So earlier in theshow, it didt nature mess you up.
A climber that has died twenty twoyears ago in Peru, scaling the
fourth largest mountain in South America hasbeen found. He's dead, but he's
(01:47:18):
going to be returned home to hisfamily. She got me thinking about mountaineering
and inn. You know, everybodythinks Everest, Everest, Everest. We
got some interesting facts about Everest. For those of you not kiving score,
this is the stupid information port ofthe show. Highest number of times to
reach the summit, Cami Rita aSherpa thirty times summity. That's insane,
(01:47:44):
right, I would say yes, most summits by a foreigner, non Nepalese.
Kenton Cool, what a name?A brit went up eighteen times by
a woman, Melissa Arnott's been upsix and American first climbers to be confirmed
as having reached the summit. EdmundHillary, Sir Edmond Hillary. Remember when
Hillary said I was named El youweren't. And Tangzheng Norgay. But Everest
(01:48:09):
is not the most dangerous mountain toclimb. Also in Nepal not far away,
and a Perana and a Pirnah isvery dangerous. Steep steep steep faces
caused this to be absolutely the mostdangerous mountain on the planet. In fact,
(01:48:30):
only thirty two percent of people evenmake it close to it, and
out of the one hundred climbers thatgo up there on average, thirty two
of them will not make it home. Some stupid information for you on this

a possibility he's going to. Whatdo Democrats do? Can they push him?
Can they force them out? Willthey try to do that at the
convention? Is it going to haveto be another slip up? A lot
of this stuff we'll be talking aboutover the coming days. On top of
