(00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. Thisis Chad Benson. History took place yesterday,
and we will talk about that ina second. But first, he
is not a hero. He isnot a legend. He is none of
the things that the people who pushedhim out are saying he is. Joe
(00:32):
Biden didn't get out of this racebecause he felt it was for the better
of the country. He was toldyou better get out or else. He
was told, if you don't jump, you will be pushed. The same
people that, if you will, forced him to jump, are now praising
(00:54):
him as a legend. He's ahero, he is all of the things.
He didn't do it for the bettermentof the country, because if that
was true, he should have steppeddown a long time ago, when everybody
in the country outside of the mediaand the Democrats could see for their own
eyes that he had a lot ofcognitive issues that needed to be sorted out
(01:19):
privately with his family. So whenyou hear he's a legend, he's amazing.
He did the most selfless act.No, the selfless act was you're
doing this or else. That's theselfless act. No, that's not.
He didn't come to people seven monthsago and say look, obviously I have
some serious issues and we need totell the country and I need to step
(01:42):
away. He didn't do any ofthat. The powers to be around him
and Joe and his family decided theywere going to take this for as long
as they could, for absolutely aslong as they could. So when you
say he's a hero, and youhear stuff like this a week ago and
I talked to President Biden, andI was saying, at all costs,
(02:05):
we must protect his legacy and whathe began, because he's not finished in
terms of voting rights, women's rights, and other things he was dug in.
He was going to fight to theend, and maybe it was his
commitment to those principles that he said. In order to best preserve that and
maintain that, I'm going to stepback. And I think that the country,
(02:27):
Republican, that Democrat owes him areal, real, real applause,
because I think he showed that hehas commitments bigger than himself, which is
rare in politics. What he didtook real courage, and what he's done
for his country, he should haveeveryone's gratitude. No, as of Saturday
morning, he wasn't going to getout. I don't buy that. I'm
sorry. You were told you weregoing to leave, you were told it
(02:52):
was over, you were worried aboutwhat was coming. So the whole thought
process, he's a hero, isa legend. He read the team leaves
and by that somebody else read himto him, and then they had to
read him to him again. Thenthey had to tell him again, and
then again and again. A realleader would have stepped up a long time
ago when they knew things were goingsouth. And Kamala, you got a
lot of splaining to do. We'llget to her in a little bit.
(03:14):
But to say legend right, isthat what John Stewart tweeted out about Joe
legend. No, Chris Coon's cryingyesterday on MSNBC. Joe Biden is grounded.
He's grounded in his faith, inhis family, and in our state.
Excuse me, I'm sorry. Thiswas a very difficult decision. It's
(03:37):
the anatomy of taking somebody down becauseit would affect you. How do I
force this guy out of the race? How do we because it's hurting all
of us and we can't have that. The party and the power that we
have is much more important than asingular person, even though that person is
the president of the United States. So when I hear he's a legend,
(03:58):
when I hear things like Van Jones, his heart is as big as ever.
His heart is as big and astrue and as strong. And this
is this is the difference between apolitician and a leader. Uh, he
made a selfless decision. And peoplewho are heartbroken, even people who are
pushing for this to happen. It'skind of like like when when your when
(04:19):
your grandpa, you got to takethe keys, and everybody, you gotta
take his keys. You gotta takehis keys. You gotta and and and
he's fighting, and he's fighting, everybody so frustrated, and then you finally
get the keys back and then youjust cry because this is somebody that you
love, This is somebody that youcare about, This is somebody who was
there for This is somebody you wouldn'tbe here without him. Oh my god,
(04:41):
drama. He was terrified of whatwas coming because the big Eiaes hadn't
come out yet and that was goingto happen. So yesterday was historic.
But when I hear he's a legend, he's all of these things, He's
selfless. No, he was toldto get zero chance of winning, zero
(05:05):
chance of winning. Why is that? Because cognitively, everybody knew what was
up, and we're going to findthat out after this is all said and
done. The leaks won't be leaks. They'll be in books, they'll be
in ourp ed pieces, they'll beeverywhere. But come on to say,
(05:28):
oh, he's just a legend.No, a person who is a leader
would have recognized six months a yearago the decline that you were in,
and the family of that person wouldhave said it is time for you to
go. It is. But insteadthey're like, no, he's great behind
(05:53):
closed doors. I mean, Ijust you know, you guys know he
knows Latin. I didn't either,World unicycle champion, Yeah, yeah,
writes poetry. No man behind closeddoors. You guys just don't see it.
Brilliant. No, a real leaderwould have recognized the position that they
were in several months ago and wouldhave stood up and said something. You
(06:20):
were forced into a decision, andthat decision was based not on your cognitive
abilities, which it should have been, based on the losing money left,
right and center and having zero pathto win and as of Saturday morning.
(06:41):
As of Saturday morning, President Bidenwas still intending to stay in this race,
but then he talked to his closestaids as the day went on,
summoned the family, and then madethe decision to bow out because of those
polls, because the fundraising dramatically dryingup, and because so many Democratic lawmakers
have spoken out against them, Someof the heavyweights Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries
(07:01):
had done so privately. Fears inthe Biden camp that was about to change
that if the President had stayed inthe race as this week went on,
that those leaders, namely Pelosi, were going to go public with the polling,
with their concerns with a call forthe President to bow out. Doing
so yesterday it was a face savingmove. The president and his family wanted
to save his reputation and choose hisown terms of exits. All of a
(07:27):
face, it wasn't a face savingmove. Everybody knew you were forcing him
out. That's not face saving.Giving them the opportunity seven months ago and
saying, look, man, youand I both know that there's a lot
of issues here. We need tohave a real plan on how you step
out of this and away from this, and how we do this gracefully.
(07:48):
That would have been legend, thatwould have been like this dude gave up
power, understood the position that hewas in and what he was going through.
Understood that I did to put thecountry in front of his own wants
and needs and the people around him. But the people around him were suckubuses.
(08:11):
They were absolute suckubuses. They wantedyou can do it, Dad,
You can do it, Honey. You answered all the questions. I mean,
come on, so you'll hear whata legend. We're better for it.
This guy shows you how to lead. No, he was pushed into
(08:33):
something that he still doesn't want todo, and reports are today he is
pissed a f pissed af over thisthree two, three, five, three
eight, twenty four to twenty threeat Chad Benson Show, as your Twitter
tweet at his text to program. But I did tell you guys about a
year ago he wasn't going to run. I did tell you guys for quite
(08:54):
a while he wasn't going to bethe nominee. It was it's arde to
see. That's why the polls didn'tmove left, right and center even after
the debate for most of the country, because they had been seeing it for
a long time and they knew,Hey, this was an issue. It
(09:16):
wasn't until the media that goes,oh my god, maybe those people were
right. It's not right wing talkingpoints. Oh geez, so much stuff
to get to Kamala obviously, isshe it? We're going to talk about
that. Where does she stand ona lot of the issues. She's already
run once before, And let's notforget there is a difference between being it
(09:41):
at the top of the ticket andbeing somebody who wants that and is running
to be that. So much stuffto get to an historic weekend. Indeed,

Good to No US Radio dot comChad Benson Show. You're listening to the
Chad Benson Show. We're not goingto do that. You sure, Oh
(11:33):
yeah, sure, Look I meanif the Lord of Money came out said
Joe Gandill of the race. Igot the race, and Lord of Money's
not coming down, are you sure, Doucy? Yesterday, Peter Doocy,
not Doug Doocy, former governor ofArizona, was on into special time slot
along with several others, obviously withthe news breaking, and he brought that
(11:56):
up along with several other things pollingand whatnot. But did Lord Almighty visit?
Remember the three things that he said, we get him out of the
race. A medical issue, whichwe don't believe that he is having a
medical issue beyond COVID At the momentat least nothing diagnosed. If you heard
from the Almighty, and maybe hedid, he can explain that later on.
But or if somebody presented him withpulling the Jody had a zero percent
(12:20):
chance to beat Donald Trump and alot of the national polling has been pretty
stable, but the battleground state pollinghas been terrible. Yeah. So I
don't know if the Lord Almighty cameto him, but there's no doubt that
he may have hurt something. Itis historic on a daily basis that it
(12:46):
feels like it is from I remembera week ago we were talking about the
assassination attempt of Donald Trump. Thenwe had all of that stuff that took
place at the RNC, from himshowing up to the vice presidential pick to
that speech that meandered and wandered allover the place and was the usual thing,
(13:07):
but him telling the story, whichI thought was great, to all
of a sudden Friday, rumors hadgrown that it was going to be this
weekend. Deny, deny. Hehad gone as so far as are you
ready for this? He and Lettermanhad something set up in Hawaii with the
Governor of Hawaii to raise money andrealized nobody was going to be there.
(13:31):
I think that was the big thing, that money wasn't coming in. And
by the way, speaking of money, over the space of about five to
six hours, about fifty million dollarsraised for VP Harris. So there's no
doubt the money is there at thismoment in time. And they've already got
(13:52):
ads out by the way, onKamala and hey, I mean this didn't
take Why is that because they alreadyhad it ready. Kamala was in on
it. She covered up Joe's obviousmental decline. Our president is in good
shape, in good health, tireless, vibrant, and I have no doubt
about the science of the work thatwe have done. But Kamala knew Joe
(14:13):
couldn't do the job, so shedid it. Look what she got done,
a border invasion, runaway inflation, the American dream Dead. They created
this mess. They know Kamala ownsthis failed record. So there is already
ads out there. There's going tobe plenty of them. The question,
I think is going to be askedon several occasions, what did you know
(14:37):
and when did you know it?Because he stepped down for a reason,
And it can't just be polling, because polling wasn't very good anyways, not
for a while. So his brothercame out and we're going to talk a
bit about this, spoke to CBSNews and made some kind of startling revelations
(15:01):
from the first time we've heard somebodyinside the circle the family on potentially the
issue that was there, the issuethat everybody in America knew about. By
the way, that wasn't That's nota surprise. Nobody should be smelling,
Oh my god, I didn't know. I had no idea. Just Troe,
what do you mean? He hadissues three two, three, five,
(15:22):
three, eight, twenty four totwenty three at Chad Benton shows your
Twitter tweet as text the program.Love hearing from every single one of you.
So much stuff to get to.Who potentially could be the VP pick.
It's a very important question. Shouldshe actually be the nominee? Are
they gonna have a roll call onAugust first? How does this work?
(15:43):
They're already doing kind of straw polls. They're already going around talking to delegates.
Is everybody going to coalisk around her? And the thing that we've talked
about and we'll continue to talk about, there is a difference between being it
and being somebody who wants to beit. So you're chasing somebody you want
(16:04):
to be it, whence the spotlightgets on you. It is totally different.
Now she is a little bit moreseasoned, there's no doubt about that.
But she's gonna have to own someof this nightmare at the border,
inflation, those things matter that hasn'tgone away with Joe. There's not somebody
(16:25):
coming in with a fresh new like, Hey, I wasn't a part of
all of this. No, Soyou are the person that was there and
people are gonna go You're responsible justas much as he is. How does
she handle that man. Crazy times, historic times. What's next? That's
a great question. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
(16:45):
four, twenty three Atch had bentto show's your Twitter tweet at us text
The program got a couple of pollsup on Twitter. We'll get to some
of those as well. One ofthe things I tweeted out last night that
I thought is kind of the situationI think America finds itself in is you
(17:06):
have two choices. You vote forKamala and potentially Trump loses and says it
was stolen, or or you votefor Trump, Kamala loses and you're a
misogynistic racist. So those are ourchoices, America. Who's excited for that?
It's gonna be crazy. Chad BensonShow, Chad Benson Show, Independent
(17:56):
Thoughts, Independent Life. This isChad Benson with Biden Mount Harris kind of
assumes the lead, and we're goingto talk about that throughout the day.
What does that even mean? Howdoes that look going into August and then
into the DNC. I don't know, because you have a lot of people
(18:19):
who and for the most part,my assumption is and again assumption can make
an ass out of you and medon't ever assume the reality is that she's
probably going to get it. Theydon't really have a way forward, although
there are some people that are hesitant. I don't think you have a choice
but to put her in. Butthere's going to be serious questions because of
stuff like this. This is someonewho is tireless in terms of working on
(18:42):
behalf of the American people. Ithink that age is more than a chronological
fact. To be very frank withyou, he is an extraordinary leader and
I wish that people could see whatI see. Joe Biden is going to
be fine. And let me tellyou something. I work with Joe Biden
every day. We will win forelection. I've been in the Oval office
work heads of various countries' allies havecalled literally to ask Joe Biden for his
(19:07):
advice. Yeah, they're going toask what did you know and when did
you know it? And those areall fair questions to ask. Goes back
to being a leader. You wantto be a leader. A leader should
have seen this, and a leadershould have forced the issue earlier behind closed
doors, saying look, you arenot in the best position to run this
(19:27):
country and everybody knows it. That'swhat a leader would have done well,
that had been like a coup. No, that had been a reality.
You are trying to take it fromsomebody who is cognitively on the top of
his game. You weren't. I'mtrying to take it from somebody because you
want it. Of course, everybodywants that You're not vice president because you
don't want that position. You alreadyran for president. But a leader would
(19:51):
have been out in front of this, and there's a lot of questions about
can he even go on. YesterdayI talked to Key self, who is
a congressman Texas third Congressional District, talking about the a the hypocrisy of a
lot of the stuff, because let'snot forget the fact that they've already had
their primaries, but also who thehell's running the country at this point in
(20:11):
time. Well, it's been transparentfor more than a year, and the
hypocrisy is wide open. They've beentelling them that he's totally mentally competent for
a year at least, and nowthey've turned on him. Shows the loyalty
they have to their president. Butyeah, the people i'd be asking,
what the world is next? Whatare you going to do for the fourteen
(20:33):
million voters, and frankly, Ithink they need to be asking the better
question, which is, if he'snot fit to run, who's going to
run the government for the next fourmonths. I know the Speaker Johnson has
called for the president to step downand resign immediately. We'll see what they
do, but chaos is going torain for the next few months, folks.
(20:56):
I can wait to see what happensin Chicago during their convention. Well,
I think by then Harris will beestablished and I have a feeling she's
going to have her vice presidential pick. We'll talk about that in a little
bit. But it is fair toask the question, as a person who
wants to be the leader of thefree world, Vice President Harris, why
(21:18):
didn't you do more? Why didn'tyou get out in front of this more.
Why weren't you the one truly puttingon pressure. Well, we don't
want to do that because that's notwho we are, and that been looked
kind of mean. I'm sorry.A leader does what a leader needs to
do, and you want to bea leader. You want to be the
(21:40):
leader. You should have forced theissue without it becoming as public as it
was. You should have led bygoing in there and saying, I demand
to know what's going on with thepresident. This is obviously a serious issue.
What is going on can't happen inthis country when the world depends on
(22:07):
us and we've got a man whois obviously incognitive declined, that's what you
should have done. Yesterday, CBSNews actually got to speak to the younger
brother of Biden. It was veryinteresting what he said. CBS News had
(22:27):
a brief conversation with Frank Biden, one of President Biden's two younger brothers,
and here's what he told us.He said, I'm incredibly proud of my
brother. Selfishly, I will havehim back to enjoy whatever time we have
left. He is a genuine herocountry over self. It sounds corny in
our cynical political environment, but henor I are cynical. The goal remains
(22:49):
the same, defeat Trump and continuedthe work that Joe has done. My
hope is that our party rallies aroundthis heroic act. We ask to whether
he feels at his brother's overall healthand vitality played a major role in this
decision, and he says, inmy humble opinion, absolutely so. A
(23:11):
member of the president's family, nowconfirming that the president's health was indeed a
major factor in this decision, andcalling his brother a hero for making the
decision to pass the torch to KamalaHarris. No, again, the decision
was made for you by the powersthat be, big money donors, because
(23:34):
you got no money, can't runfor the presidency, and the people who
are worried about their potential power beingtaken away because you were a drag on
the ticket, so was the machinebehind you. And then there was the
other machine, the machine of life, the reality that you weren't what you
(24:02):
used to be. None of usare, and that decision was made by
your mind and your body. Yourbrain had nothing to do with them.
But you could have made that decisionearlier. And the fact that his brothers
come out and said, hey, yeah, of course, it made it
(24:22):
serious decision. And for everybody thisthing was a big decision. But Joe
had to make it. But thereality is is nature made it for him
and then the other people behind there. I tweeted out last night, brutus
at two Pelosi, Hakeem, Jeffries, Schumer, They're all cleaning their knives
(24:48):
as they were walking out going thatguy's a legend and there he is amazing.
We're happy for him. He's madethis smart decision. Jeez three two,
three, five, three, twentyfour to twenty three at Sheed Benson
shows your Twitter, tweet at ustext to program. A lot more to
talk about when it comes to this. Now on to Kamala. What to
(25:10):
do? What to do? She'sgonna be it. They have no choice,
as much as they want to pretendlike there is a choice and that
this is gonna be you know, this is gonna be amazing, This is
gonna be it. There's gonna bestuff right like this is this is gonna
be it. He's tapped her tobe the president in waiting, if you
(25:34):
will, the heir apparent. Theydon't have a choice in this. And
they could say people may challenge becauseyou've heard Mansion, may reregister it as
a Democrat and then throw his hatin the ring. I don't know if
that's gonna happen. But they don'treally have a choice because you've made your
entire platform for the most part identitypolitics, emotional politics. So to take
(26:02):
it away from the first female BlackAsian would be destruction. It would be
for all the things that you believein. It would be an absolute disaster.
No matter what anybody says, Oh, it's going to be an open
(26:22):
it's not. They'll figure something outto make it look like it was somewhat
open, but it's not going tobe that open because they're also telling a
lot of people on the side Newsom'sof the world. By the way,
Newsom and her couldn't run because herprimary residence is supposed to be California,
and they can't too, can't beon the same ticket, so that would
be virtually impossible. Whitmeer doesn't wantthe gig. Shapiro and Mark Kelly are
(26:48):
the ones. Maybe Andy Basheer, but it just I'm sorry, you have
to make it transparent kind of sortof. But the reality is this,
you've painted yourself into the corner withWe don't have a choice but to go
with her, even if some peopledon't want to go with her. Kamala
(27:10):
Harris is ready. She is battlescarred, but she's also battle tested.
She knows the job and she knowsthe pressures of a national campaign. You
can't teach that. So she's goingto make a case to the delegates.
She's going to make the case tothe American people, and she is going
to ensure that the Democratic Party isready to take on the Party of Donald
(27:33):
Trump. Donna Brazil there is sheready. One of the things that I
want to mind everybody running to beit. As she did before, she
didn't do a great job. Shewas not very good. She didn't even
make it to Iowa, raised alot of money, fizzled within a couple
weeks, and it was over anddone with. I don't think she cracked
like one or two points that beingsaid, how she is going to be
(28:00):
it? The money is poured in. They got fifty million dollars overnight.
It and fifty of the chairs, the fifty chairs the Democratic Parties in every
you know, each date, thefifty yeers, they've all said we're behind
her because you have no choice. You have no choice. But you also
(28:21):
had fourteen million people that voted forBiden, and you've got to give those
people some sort of opportunity to havea voice, or else it's gonna look
really bad like you've usurped the process, and you don't want that crazy Indeed,

It is the Chad Benson show.Running with scissors sounds great compared to
this. So can you raise yourhand if you love a yellow school bus
(30:11):
right? Because there's something about yeaand most of us, many of us
went to school on the yellow schoolbus, right, and it's it's part
of our experience growing up. Theschool bus takes us there in particular fondness.
I must tell you for electric schoolbuses. I love electric school buses.
(30:33):
I really do it. I've beenon these electric school buses and think
about it. On a daily basis. Twenty five million children in our country
every day go to school on thosediesel fueled school buses. These children aren't
haaling what is toxic air. Sothere's that Vice President Harris school buses speaking
to school buses. President Trump, how do you feel about that? She
(30:56):
has some bad moments. Her momentsare almost as bad as is I think
his are worse. Actually, yeah, she seems pretty senile too. She
speaks in rhyme. It's weird. It's weird, but she has made moments
and in rhyme. Well the wayshe talks. The bus will go here
and then the bus will go there, because that's what busses do. And
(31:18):
it's weird. The whole thing isweird. This is not a president of
the United States future. And Ithink they probably have some kind of a
primary and yeah, we'll see aboutthat. We've got a lot to get
and say on whether or not they'regoing to do that. And we were
just talking about why it's a goodthing that they do for Vice President Harris.
Over the weekend, while you wereout living your life, maybe you
(31:44):
saw a movie, because a lotof people did. Can't just be all
about politics today. I was surprisedabout the number. I knew would be
pretty big, But my goodness,me, talk about twisting up a storm.
God's whatever's in there. It's biggestmove back. They ran toward the
tornadoes. At movie box offices thisweekend, Twisters with a blockbuster opening eighty
(32:06):
and a half million dollars in ticketsales in North America's A Studio estimates a
sequel to the nineteen ninety six hitTwister with different characters. Universal also had
the number two movie Despicable Me fourin three weeks, grabbing over two hundred
and fifty nine million bucks domestically insideout two third Long Lakes. Fourth.
Yeah, I played a little picka ball. It worked yesterday a lot
(32:29):
because this did a show as well, So it was It was crazy.
It was a crazy weekend and Iwas fortunate enough to watch the end of
golf. And I bring that upbecause yesterday Xanderschoffley won a second major of
the year, which was awesome andit was great to watch. But a
(32:52):
one of the things I find aguy named Tristan Lawrence who is from South
Africa. Hell of a player. He had the lead at one point with
about ten holes to play and thenthe wheels came off the bus. One
of the things that I've talked aboutover and over again, and we're going
to talk about it throughout the showis the spotlights on her. Some people
(33:15):
handle the pressure much better than others. When she ran for president the first
time she did not handle it verywell. She got a ton of money
early, was like twenty five milliondollars within the space of a few days
or hours, and she spent itall and she didn't even make it to
Iowa. That is going to bewhat people are paying attention to now,
(33:39):
because they don't have a lot oftime, they're going to have to make
a decision sooner rather than later. And a lot of people think they're going
to make a decision sooner than peoplethink. And that is going to be
interesting because it goes back to isthis an open process? Yesterday I spoke
(34:00):
Mark Jones and Rice University. He'sa political scientist over there, talking about,
Hey, are they going to doa virtual roll call? How's this
going to work? Well, it'spossible. I think Democrats may try to
sort of shut that off, though, by continuing with their previous leap plans
for a virtual vote during the firstweek in August, at which time they
would formally nominate her, meaning thatthe final the convention would be just a
(34:23):
symbolic act. If they get thatdone, then she'll be locked in as
the nominee. And I think that'sthe goal of most Democrats to have her
from early August, focusing one hundredpercent on Donald Trump and not trying to
jockey for position with other Democratic leadersfor the nomination. But I also think
(34:43):
that she has about a week toprove herself. Meaning while there was money
pouring in, there was all ofthis stuff happening yesterday and some excitement.
If she has a week where shescrews up a munch, if she has
a week where she fumbles and saysthe things that she said, the word
salad after work salad, then Ithink there'll be a rethought over this entire
(35:05):
Should we do a virtual roll call? And I think there's also a lot
of people out there going, well, hold on a second, don't we
deserve an opportunity to see this thingplay out? So there's so much when
it comes to what is coming andthe potential chaos in Chicago, which would
also be very entertaining. We'll talkabout that, so many other things to
get to fall across all of oursocial media. By the way, I
(35:30):
threw up a couple different polls yesterday, who are the Democrats going to choose?
Harris number one? New some numbertwo, as far as person whitmarth
way back there, and then otherand a lot of other people think that,
you know, Joe Manchin now isthinking about throwing his hat in the
(35:50):
ring, that they're gonna come upwith something surprising Hillary Michelle. And I'll
say this about Michelle. She doesn'twant the job, and I've said that
for a long time. And she'ssure in the hell not going to go
on a ticket with Harris as thepresident in the lead. If you will
of this entire ticket and her secondthat ain't happen. If you're missing this
show, make sure you grab thepodcast. It is the Chad Benson Show.
(36:14):
This is the Chad Benson Show,Independent Thoughts, Independent Life, This
(36:44):
is Chad Benson. Biden is out, Kamala is in. How did Biden,
who is now an American hero, real American hero? We salute you,
Joe who can't remember anything and waspushed out of the window by the
other people who want to make surethat their place is secure. How did
(37:07):
we get here? When did weknow? Those are the questions being asked.
And boy was it quick and itwas not painless. The staff wasn't
totally blindsided, Jesse. They hada one minute heads up. We are
told that President Biden convened a groupof senior staff from the White House and
the campaign, and they were toldat one forty five that he was changing
(37:30):
his mind, going to drop out. So see how quick that went.
Because he's a hero. It's nota hero, said that last hour.
Your choice was be a hero orbe the villain. Either way, you're
not running. So that's your choicenow. On the Kamala, she said,
(37:51):
right, I am not confident atall because, as it was laid
out earlier, I do know thatyou know, behind closed doors, while
I won't name names, there werepeople that were absolutely like, it can't
be the vice president. So inone breath they were saying, you know,
the president needs to be out.In the next breath they were also
saying it can't be her. Ithink quietly, if given the opportunity,
(38:14):
they would want this thing to bea super open convention. But you did
this to yourself. I want topoint that out to the Democrats. You
did this to yourself. Dean Phillipsran against Joe Biden in a primary that
was set up to make sure thatnobody could beat Joe Biden. All the
(38:35):
while that was going on, youknew he had serious issues. All the
while that was going on. Youknew, but you did nothing, and
now that it is, well, gonna beat Kamala because it is. Even
if they have a open primary ofsome sort, which it can't have.
(38:59):
It's late, some sort of blitzprimary, some sort of town hall,
some sort of it's too late. It's too late. And as many people
say, challenging her at this pointwould be political suicide. That's what Maggie
(39:20):
Haberman said. You can't challenge thefirst woman of color colors actually she's Asian
and black. You can't challenge her. It's political suicide. My goodness,
me, kids, come on,but you did this to yourself, her
(39:42):
mind, You did this to yourself. You had a chance. Dean Phillips
ran from Minnesota, but he's like, well, he ruined his life.
He feels vindicated, he feels vindicated. But now you have to come up
with some sort of Okay, nowwe've pushed him out, but we've got
to make sure like that was somewhatof an open process, because we don't
(40:02):
want to have it look like we'vejust anointed her. But there's got to
be some sort of process. Andshe said, you know, I welcome
the process, an open convention whereHarris would likely have to go and get
the delegates that she has earned.Remember these are Biden Harris delegates, and
she will have to ensure that shehas the requisite number to secure the nomination.
(40:27):
Donna Brazil right there. It's itif you are a Democratic voter and
you voted in the primary, andyou maybe are like fine with your vote
going towards Harris, anybody but Trump, right, But Harris wouldn't have been
(40:47):
your first choice. You got yourvote kind of taken away. Now he
should he have died, we wouldn'tbe in the situation, right, And
I don't want to die. Godbless him, my I hope he lives,
you know, forever whatever, Butwe'd be looking at something different because
she would have been the president. She would have been the incumbent. But
(41:08):
because they fixed it, remember whatthey did with Iowa. They changed some
of the rules. Started in SouthCarolina where he took off last time,
and it was really stacked against anybodywho wanted to get into the race.
And because of that, knowing fullwell by the way that he wasn't one
(41:30):
hundred percent there, knowing full wellthat these weren't just you know, as
you age, you forget a namehere, forget a name there. My
mom, you know, because ofall the kids, she calls me Tristan
my little brother half the time. And but she's not slipping. I will
tell you this. You did thisto yourself. You did this to yourself,
and now to even think about openingit up in any way, shape
(41:53):
or form would potentially be political suicidefor anybody who wants to jump in there.
So you only have yourself to blamefor this. Now on toa Kamala
who did run for president before forthose of you who don't remember, and
she didn't do well. But nowwell you're it. It's very different to
(42:15):
be the person writing for president thanthe person running for number two, and
so she's going to be under adifferent level of scrutiny, a different level
of pressure, and there's a differentexpectation level. Chris Christy there running for
president with five, six, seven, eight, ten, twelve, fifteen
other people is big, But thisis something totally different. Now she's vice
(42:39):
president, she's been around it,she's had a chance to prove herself,
and she's got some weaknesses. There'sno doubt about that. Partially because you
didn't bring up all the stuff thatwas going on behind the scenes and maybe
been a little bit more vocal, which you should have been about the situation
at the White House with Biden.Secondly, you are the czar of the
(43:02):
border. That isn't going to goover well for a lot of people.
That is it. I want toremind you, guys of some of her
border takes. Shall we Do youhave any plans to visit the border at
some point? You know? Imean I don't. I don't understand the
(43:23):
point that you're making. I'm notdiscounting the importance of the border. We
are going to the border. We'vebeen to the border. So this whole,
this whole, this whole thing aboutthe border. We've been to the
border. We've been to the border. You haven't been to the border,
and I haven't been to Europe.Well that's not much about Helper. You've
never been to the border. Ihaven't been to Europe. I don't care
(43:45):
about their borders. I care aboutours. She is still the vice president
for a presidency that isn't very popular. Inflation kick to the grundle, immigration
kick to the grundle. Global issuesabsolutely a hot mess. So those are
(44:07):
weaknesses that are going to be frontand center. And if you think the
well she's just going to talk aboutabortion, it's not going to win you
over. It's gonna win you overin a lot of states that already have
abortion on the ticket, that alreadyhave because remember we don't pick popular.
(44:29):
This isn't most votes. This isstate by state to get to that two
seventy. But one thing. Abortion, Well, that is an issue that
she's been driving. I've heard froma lot of women, they're like,
you know, we're more than justour huha, you recognize that. Yes,
(44:50):
Can she energize a younger base ofwomen that weren't thrilled? Of course
she can. Can she get backsome of those black voters that may be
heading over to Trump? I thinksome of the females because you know,
we talked about it last week. This has become a man versus woman,
boys versus girls, as one articleput it, kind of election. But
(45:12):
she has her weakness. So theexcitement is there, But everybody's got a
plan, as Mike Tyson says, until you get punched in a face,
meaning she's never been hit like she'sgoing to be hit when it comes to
the attacks coming. She's never beenin a situation where the weight of the
world is now going to be onher shoulders. She's never been in a
(45:32):
situation like this where it is allabout you. You have nobody else to
contend with but that guy over there, and that guy over there has already
been president, and that guy overthere is hated, yes, but absolutely
been loved in other ways. You'refacing something you've never faced, and that
(45:53):
is going to be something that she'sgot. That's the pressure that you know,
we've been talking about much different beingthe person as opposed to wanting to
be the person. And this isgoing to be a very interesting situation because
the Democrats are also going to figureout how do we go about explaining to
the constituents, to the voters, this is what we did. Can we
(46:16):
rally around her? Are they goingto be people pissed? Are we going
to get enough money? It's allgoing to be crazy in a historic time.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to
twenty three atch Haad Benson Show isyour Twitter tweet at as texted program.

Benson Show. You're listening to theChad Benson Show. It's not Hamela,
(47:55):
It's not Carmala, not Comala. It's Kamala. Kamala, Harris, kamalas
for our schools, COMMA for affordablechildcare that Kamala Tamala has. So that's
how you say a name. Kamala, not Kamala. Not Kamala, Kamala,
(48:16):
Kamala Harris. Okay, just wantyou guys to understand that. I
want to make sure that you guysget it, so you're not accused of
being a racist, homophobe, transphobe, xenophobe, whatever people are gonna throw
at you if you mispronounce said name. Okay, it's not Kamala, It's
(48:37):
not Kamala, It's Kamala. Harris, just say Harris, Okay. Vice
President Harris makes it easy. Guesswho's coming to town. It ain't Santa
Claus. All of this stuff isgoing on, All of this chaos is
going on, and over the weekendthings got heated even more so in the
(48:58):
Middle East when Boom the wod he'sgot bond. Then they fired some missiles
that got blowed to Hell by IsraelWednesday. Guess who's coming to speak to
Congress. Babe I will address forthe fourth time both houses of Congress as
(49:20):
the Prime Minister of Israel. Iwill seek to anchor the bipartisan support that
is so important for Israel. Whyis that important? Well, you're going
to have to at some point intime, think that he's going to have
to sit down with Vice President Harrisand have a chat. Maybe she can
explain certain things to him that hedidn't know, things like this. Ukraine
(49:45):
is a country in Europe. Itexists next to another country called Russia.
Russia is a bigger country. Russiais a powerful country. Russia decided to
invade a smaller country called Ukraine soquickly. That's wrong. And relatedly,
is the United States willing to makea specific allocation for Ukrainian refugees? Okay,
(50:07):
a friend in need is a friend. Indeed, good times net Yahoo
coming over here. Though. It'slike one of those things where you've decided
you and your and your your youknow, you and your wife that you're
(50:28):
getting a divorce, and you invitedeverybody up for dinner, and it just
happened, and all of a suddenhe showed up here and he's not not
coming. He's here now. Hecame from out of town. He thought
it was going to be fun. He's got nowhere else to go, and
it's going to be uncomfortable for sure, But welcome to modern politics. I
(50:49):
planned to see President Biden, whomI've known for over forty years. This
will be an opportunity to thank youfor the things he did for Israel in
the war and enjoying as long asunderstand which career in public service. So
he's gonna address Congress, talk toBiden, Will he talked to Harris?
I'm assuming at some point they're goingto have a chat. And at the
(51:10):
same time, is he going tohave a phone call with Trump. I'm
assuming at some point in time theyprobably will, because you have to look
like I was just reading about howthe money is rolling in from Wall Street
for Vice President Harris. I'm readingall of this stuff, and of course,
Hollywood, do we expect those things. That being said, you have
(51:31):
to heage your bets in a lotof ways because you do not know who
is going to be there at theend, So you better figure out who
you're going to have to chat with. Zelenski last week spoke with Trump.
So you've got to make sure,Hey, this new person comes in,
I got to make sure we're kindof on the same page. This person
(51:53):
over here is coming in. Igot to make sure we're on the same
page. Man, the gig, that's what I call her, been calling
her that for a while. She'sgot some splind to do, though,
because she stood behind Joe and shetold the world he's wonderful. This is
someone who is tireless in terms ofworking on behalf of the American people.
(52:16):
I think that age is more thana chronological fact. To be very frank
with you, he is an extraordinaryleader. And I wish that people could
see what I see. Joe Bidenis going to be fine. And let
me tell you something. I workwith Joe Biden every day. We will
win re election. I've been inthe Oval office work heads of various countries'
allies have called literally to ask JoeBiden for his advice. Well, they're
(52:40):
not going to be doing that, and maybe they didn't know how bad it
was. But the question is goingto be to you is how bad was
it and did you know or wereyou so isolated from him? Where you
saw him very rarely, which happensin politics where a vice president and the
(53:00):
president aren't necessarily pals, aren't necessarilyon the same team, if you will,
they're doing their own thing, andshe was frozen out. That's a
possibility, but it doesn't take alot to realize that he was having serious
issues. And I think this isgoing to be a very serious question for
(53:23):
her is when did you know? What did you know? And why did
you lie? Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three atch had Benson showsyour Twitter, tweet at a texta program.
A lot of stuff still to getto. Obviously historic news, Joe
Biden stepping down, slash pushed andtalk about that, why it'll benefit Kamala
(53:50):
Harris, vice president of the UnitedStates, to have some sort of open
primary blitz primary thing for her andfor the nation. Talk about that.
A lot of other things you getthrough. It's a Chad Benson, Joe
such Chad Benson, Joe, independentthoughts, independent life. This is Chad
(54:34):
Benson. We should always find timesto express how we feel about the moment
that is a reflection of joy becauseit comes in the morning. We have
to find ways to also express theway we feel about the moment in terms
of just having language and a connectionto how people are experiencing life. And
(54:55):
I think about it in that waytoo. I call myself a joyful warrior.
She's gonna have to do something.I think an open primary ish kind
of thing whenever they come up withthe DNC is a must. And I'll
tell you why two reasons. One, you can't scream you're all about democracy
and then have some bizarre we're usheringher in. The primary thing is gone,
(55:20):
done and dusted. You You screwedthat up. I said it earlier.
I blame you and you alone,DNC. This mess is your fault.
This mess is a you thing. You ignored what the people saw.
You then went and essentially jerry manderedthe entire primary process by threatening anybody who
wanted to get in, and outsideof Marian Williamson and Dean Phillips from Minnesota,
(55:43):
nobody got in. You didn't wouldn'thave any debates whatsoever because you wanted
to hide Biden. And then whenwhen crap hit the fan, this is
where you're at. So this isa you problem, and now you're trying
to go democracy by the way,we decided to give it to her because
it'll just be easier. But thenwe're also telling everybody, if you decide
(56:06):
to run against her, maybe justmaybe it's political suicide. So there's that.
But why she needs it, First, it's a good thing, open,
as transparent as you can be.Secondly, Sharpen, the more you
get up to bat, the betterit's going to be. The more you
get up to bat, the strongeryou're going to be. You want people
(56:30):
not to think about all the crazythings you've said and your words slid and
things like this. So the importanceof community banks is they are as they
are called, they're in the community, led by members of the community.
They are the people who understand thecapacity of the community, the needs of
(56:52):
the community, the culture of thecommunity. So the money that we are
putting in community banks is intentional inthat it is there that we believe there
is going to be the greatest opportunityfor folks in the community to actually do
the work that is about entrepreneurship inthe community. Yeah, yeah, that's
(57:14):
I've said it over and over again. She sounds like somebody who is giving
an oral book report to a bookshe's never read. She's like the old
man in the sea. First ofall, he's old and there's there's a
boat and the sea. So obviouslythe old guy gets in the boat,
(57:45):
goes out on the sea, andthe sea is where the boat is,
and the old man is together asone and three because of the sea and
the old man in the boat. But you couldn't have the old man without
the boat, and the boat withoutthe sea, and the sea without the
boat. That's what she's got totry to clean up. She's got to
(58:07):
sharpen those skills. And having somesort of town halls open primaries, those
kind of things where you can showyou're not the giggler is going to help
because when people hear that and theythink to themselves, Trump's going to eat
you alive. Secondly, should youwin, because there's enough disdain for Trump
that you never know, But shouldyou win and you're sitting across from g
(58:34):
and you laugh like that, putinany of those Those people play for keeps.
They play for keeps, they do. Now, all that being said,
there is some data out there.Polls they've been running over the last
week or so because people have beencurious and they're doing the best They can
(58:59):
say like they have all the polesyou could think of, because it wasn't
until yesterday this happened. But thereare and let me tell you something,
there's several poles out there, somenot so good, some it's hard to
get a feel for it. Butone thing's for sure. When you throw
Robert Kennedy Junior in the mix, things change a bit. But first,
Steve Kornaki MSNBCNBC, the same pollsthat produce this average since the debate and
(59:25):
the Biden Trump race, what dothey show when Harris is substituted in a
difference, But it's a difference ofa point. Biden at forty five Harrison
the same poles and average forty sixpercent Trump forty seven percent in both of
them. So you look at thisand Kamala Harris is not entering, at
least in the head to head standpoint, with an obvious strength over Joe Biden,
(59:46):
or with an obvious weakness compared toJoe Biden. Really, those numbers
are pretty close to the same interms of a starting point for Harris.
Also just the basic impression of thesefolks. So, Joe Biden, this
is the average when you have askthat question, do you have a favorable
unfavorable view? Biden thirty six fiftyseven. Been seeing numbers like this for
(01:00:07):
a long time with him. Obviously, these are very perilous numbers. What
are they for? Kamala Harris averagedfrom the same set of polls a little
bit better. Thirty six goes upto thirty eight, fifty seven comes down
to fifty two. But you know, take a step back. Those are
not strong numbers. They're not.The thing that Trump has is, yes,
(01:00:30):
he has got a bunch of peoplethat can't stand him. Let's not
pretend that there's a bunch of peopleout there that ready to jump ship at
any moment and come over to Trumpbecause he's expanding the tent. Let's I
don't play that game. I'm gonnagive it to you straight. But he
does have a bunch of people thatdo love him, and he also has
(01:00:51):
a bunch of people who love theway that things were pre COVID that was
cheaper, felt safer, those things. They don't like the drama. Who
likes the drama? I don't likethe drama. You don't like the drama.
Trump may like it, I don't. She's going to have to figure
(01:01:12):
out how do I get to expandthis tent to bring people back, the
disgruntled Democrats, the reluctant Republicans, those independents that are looking at RFK Junior,
how do I get them over here? Because she is you may have
that easier path to the nomination, but you're also saddled with high inflation,
(01:01:36):
a wide open, porous border, the thought that you're part of the elite
class that thinks that you know, hey, like the college kids do when
it comes to the squad in Palestine, a nightmarish kind of well public thought
(01:01:58):
of you as the giggler, andof I mean, you've got a lot
of things to overcome, you do, so you're gonna have to figure this
thing out fast. So it's notlike everybody thinks. You get excited,
right, it's the new thing. It's exciting. Finally we've got a path.
It's new, it's exciting. Let'sgo with it. It's new,
it's exciting. But then the dustsettles and then you realize, all right,
(01:02:20):
this is this is it, right, So this is our horse.
This is what we're doing here. The Republicans they have their horse, and
they know what's going on. Wenow have decided the other one it's glue,
it's dog food. We put itaway. This is the one we're
going with. So the excitement ofoh my god, it looks great.
But now the lights are on,the spotlight's on. Now we get to
see all of the stuff, thegood, the bad, all of that.
(01:02:45):
And it's not like the Polan's greatfor anybody. But if you are
the Republicans, at least you knowyour path. At least you do if
you're the Democrats. While she hasbeen vice president, she's still somewhat of
an unknown to a lot of America. She hasn't entered the race with strong
(01:03:06):
numbers on that basic question, what'sthe comparison to Donald Trump? Here Trump
averaging forty one favorable fifty five unfavorable, also not strong numbers, a tick
though above where both Biden and Harrisare. Again, this is the starting
point for Kamala Harris. The bigquestion here is going to be what happens
in the next week, the nexttwo weeks, as this sort of rollout
(01:03:27):
of Kamala Harris as a presidential candidatebegins. Does the does she get a
second look from some voters? Dothese numbers improve? Is their movement in
the horse race. Ah see,he's at a horse race, So did
I? Steve bernaccurate there MSNBC,NBC all of the season. We will
see. She's got to get outthere. And if I was her,
(01:03:49):
I would be everybody's like whatever Vittervice president duties, she doesn't stop it.
First of all, the vice president, what do you do? You
open up supermarkets and every once ina while you go to the Senate to
break a tie. I mean, she's out there with a big set of
scissors. That's kind of the vicepresidents are relegated to. Now you are
first and foremost getting in front ofthe VP pick. I would do that
(01:04:12):
as fast as possible. I'm gonnatalk about that next hour. Secondly,
I'm somewhat distancing myself without distancing myselfcompletely from Biden and some of the accomplishments,
but also saying I'm my own person, I have my own path.
I disagreed with the way that somethings were, but he was the commander
intrief and I've made myself and myfeelings and my opinions known, but he
(01:04:35):
still had the final say. Andyou try to get out there, and
you get out and you do townhalls and you go and you do,
you do Fox, You do allof the things you wouldn't do. Put
yourself in that pressure. The moretimes you're up the bat, the better
it's going to be. And thenyou get out there and you go,
I want to take on Trump. You have to be that. You have
(01:04:56):
to show you strong. You're gonnahave to show all of these things because
you have to show America who youare. And secondly, you have to
figure out how you message yourself differentfrom the guy now, because that guy
had unfavorables big time, and you'regonna be saddled with those three two,
(01:05:16):
three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson
shows your Twitter, sweet at astext to program. A lot of stuff
still to get to roughgreensruff greens dotcom, slash chat, the Guy,

kids. We seem to say thata lot around here. It's the

Chad Benson Show. Sashtag me too, hashtag immigration reforms, hashtag help.
I'm trapped in a hashtag factory andI can't get out The Chat Benson Show,
(01:06:44):
don't you take It's time a pottleon? Then the waterhouse at make
you use a little femail com itsays, damn, it's a day and
it's way best overdue. Yeah,I think it is time with more a
(01:07:08):
woman in a bar. That's right, Cheryl Crow put a woman in the
White House, little common sense.I can imagine what can be and be
unburdened by what has been, youknow. So I'm here to ask you
to do what you know, HONANDU, because when you do what you do
what you know, HANANDU. Onall these issues, we know what we
(01:07:29):
are up against, and we knowwhat we stand for exactly. And I
believe when you know what you standfor, you know what to fight for,
okay, and we will fight understandingwhen we fight, we win.
All Right, There you go,just a few of the common sense wisdom
words from the potential nominee. Iwould say it's a certainty, but not
(01:07:54):
quite. But it's as close asI think you're going to get to a
certainty that she is going to gointo the as the nominee. We moved
from one woman to another woman whois going to be on the hill today
facing a grilling. Kimberly Cheatles, director of the Secret Service. And I
don't know if you remember a weekago, all we were talking about was
(01:08:15):
an assassination attempt, and by Sunday, eight days later, that was gone,
done dusted. Why because Biden wasout and somebody else was in.
But there's still some missplanning to do. This is the first time that we
will be hearing from the Secret ServiceDirector Kimberly Cheatle in answers to lawmakers pointed
(01:08:36):
questions that they will be asking. She has spoken out over the last week
or so in just a couple interviews, but not much more beyond that.
Today she will be under oath testifyingbefore a House committee. And what is
interesting here this is all coming aswell during reports that the Secret Service now
admitting they did deny some extra protectionprotective resources to former President Trump over the
(01:09:01):
last couple years. They said originallythat that was not the case, but
they're now admitting that, largely dueto financial and resource constraints, there were
times when Trump's security detail had askedfor extra resources. They denied that.
They are pointing out that there wereno specific resources denied for the Butler Pennsylvania
(01:09:23):
rally. That's not a good lookwhen you tell everybody over and over again
after it happened, Hey, theynever asked for anything more. Hey,
they didn't do that, and thena couple of days later you're like,
oh, they totally did ask more. Actually Trump spoke about did you know
about any of the stuff when youwere and Butler, no, nobody mentioned
it, Nobody said there was aproblem. And I would have waited for
(01:09:43):
fifteen They could have said, let'swait for fifteen minutes, twenty minutes,
five minutes something. Nobody said.I think that was a mistake, a
mistake. Indeed, I know howmuch longer she is going to hold on
to her position. She should begone, she should be up there as
the former director. How much longeror can she hold on? That's a
question because, by the way,it's not just Republicans that are demanding answers.
(01:10:06):
Democrats are demanding answers and a resignationas well. People want to get
to the bottom of this. Howdid this happen? And you have to
be transparent because the conspiracy theories.I saw the five gunman yesterday, three
gunmen, two gunmen, grassy oldguys back. There is so many issues.
(01:10:26):
And you've also showed that you liedabout whether or not he asked for
more security at certain times you saidthat never happened. And then you had
to come back and say yes.And now you're trying to blame the local
department for this, the local ButlerTownship Police department. You're saying that it's
their fault. This was outside ourperimeter. This was supposed to be theirs,
and they're saying, nah, nowthat's a you thing. So this
(01:10:49):
is the commission that was called forby President Biden in the wake of the
assassination attempted to bipartisan commission, andthe Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro maiorcis just announcing
yesterday this commission who it would bemade up of. It's a bipartisan commission,
and one of the people that isparticipating is a former Homeland Security Secretary
(01:11:10):
at Janet Napolitano, also several aidsto former President George W. Bush.
And they will be looking at thosethings that you just mentioned, Leland,
the planning, and what happened duringand after the assassination attempt. It's a
forty five day review and then they'llbe out with their conclusions. We shall
see what it looks like. Butthere's definitely an issue that needs to be
(01:11:33):
dealt with asap when it comes tothis, and I think that a lot
of people are looking at how theyhandle this issue because while it is now
in our twenty four hour news cyclebehind us, Trump's out there. He
and JD. Vance having a bigthing this weekend in Michigan and they're out
(01:11:55):
there, you know, campaign together. Well, all of that is true.
We'd be having a different story todayhad it not been for the turn
of a head. As one personsaid, the assassination bullet didn't miss.
It went where it was supposed togo. But Trump turned his head.
And questions need to be asked becausethis was Keystone Cops esque. Three two
three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three at CHEDD.
(01:12:15):
Benson Show, was your Twitter tweetat as text the program? A lot
of stuff still to get to you. I don't if you're aware of this.
Joe Biden has dropped, slash pushedout watching people celebrate him as a
legend and amazing and incredible and betterfor all of us because he has done
this selfless thing all the while thosesame people that are celebrating him were also
(01:12:40):
the people pushing him. Talk aboutthat. A lot of other stuff to
get to three two three, fivethree eight twenty four to twenty three at
Chad Benson Show's your Twitter, It'sa Chad Benson show. This is the
Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts, independent life, this is Chad Benson.
(01:13:20):
What are the people on the streetssaying thinking about what took place? As
now Joe is out totally. I'mnot surprised at all. This needed to
happen, and there was just toomuch rumor about this for it not to
come true. I mean, comeon, he's only he doesn't know what's
going on. He's got to getout of there. I feel like it's
partly to do with the debate thathe just had with Trump and Obama saying
(01:13:41):
that Biden lost his chance at reelectionbecause the debate was so bad. So
I feel like Obama's commentary and thatplayed a big part. I don't want
to say it's Obama's fault. Ithink Obama just said what a lot of
people were thinking. I definitely thinkJoe should have been more prepared for that
debate and that led to his untimelydownfall. But I don't want to say
it's Obama's fault. I'm a blameJoe because he wasn't prepared, but that's
(01:14:03):
what people think on the streets.By the way, it wasn't Joe's fault
that he wasn't prepared. He remembered, he told her, but he overprepared.
No, it was the fact thathe cognitively couldn't have pulled it off.
And yesterday, as he was ceremoniouslypushed out by the donor class,
by the elites, who, atthe same time as they're cleaning their nyes
(01:14:28):
getting ready to sheathe them again,we're also saying he's a hero, it's
a legend, it's a hero.No, he's not. He is not
a hero. He is not ahero. He knew he couldn't win.
They were going to force him outand make it so it was untenable for
him to continue, or they gavehim another path, and that path was,
(01:14:51):
Hey, this is your decision, right, wink wink, nudge,
nudge. But he's a legend,chatt, he's a hero, No,
he didn't hero, A leader,a somebody that you would call that person.
They're trying to make him out tobe that guy. That guy would
have done it six months ago,a year ago, when he knew the
(01:15:15):
issues were in front of him thatwere bad and they weren't going to get
any better. He would have wentand found out what was going on and
told the American people, been upfrontand honest, and they would have had
a real primary. You only haveyourself to blame, Front page New York
(01:15:36):
Times today. The voters knew longbefore the Democrats what was going on with
Joe. Everybody who has eyes andears could see and hear what was going
on. You have yourself to blame, but to say he's a hero when
you threaten to push him out, when you were gonna make it untenable for
(01:15:59):
him to go forward, when hewas not going to have any more money,
when the pressure was going to grow, he had no choice but the
choice. A leader, a herowould have made that choice months ago,
not after that night marish hell thathe gave to the Democratic Party and unfortunately
to himself on the debate stage aweek ago. And I talked to President
(01:16:23):
Biden, and I was saying,at all costs, we must protect his
legacy in what he began, becausehe's not finished in terms of voting rights,
women's rights, and other things hewas dug in. He was going
to fight to the end. Andmaybe it was his commitment to those principles
that he said, in order tobest preserve that and maintain that, I'm
(01:16:44):
going to step back. And Ithink that the country Republican, that Democrat
owes him a real, real, real applause because I think he showed that
he has commitments bigger than himself, which is rare in politics. What he
did to real courage, he's donefor this country. He should have everyone's
gratitude. Yeah, no, No, The gratitude was you had no choice.
(01:17:08):
The gratitude was there wasn't any otherchoice. The gratitude should be to
the people who forced this situation. And the anger should be why didn't you
do it sooner? Why didn't youdo it sooner? Why did you let
it go this long? The messthat you're in right now, and it's
(01:17:29):
a potential to get much worse. The enthusiasm, the excitement. I saw
that with Kamala before she raised liketwenty five million dollars when she first announced
her candidacy. She never made itto Iowa. She's different now. Yeah,
we're gonna talk Jim Kennedy Kennedy Instituteof Public Policy Research coming up in
a little bit, because she doeshave some issues that aren't just about immigration,
(01:17:53):
and some other stuff. But youallowed this to get out of hand.
You knew, you scream and yellall day it's about democracy, and
you hit it from the American people. Then you hit it from the primary
voters because you jerrymandered essentially a primarywhere you wouldn't allow anybody else in for
(01:18:16):
the most part, and you threateneverybody, and the people that did get
in had no chance, and youwouldn't even allow them debate, even though
a majority of the primary voters wantedit. Eighty percent wanted to see a
debate, and you wouldn't allow it. So you have yourself to blame for
this. More from the from thepeople in the powers to be about the
(01:18:39):
hero Joe Biden. Yeah, there'sa lot of political stuff. Their guy
part as a family at the endof the day is a family matter.
You know. Joe Biden's body maynot be as strong as it used to
be, as language skills may notbe as sharp as it used to be.
His heart is as big as ever. His heart is as big and
as true and a strong and thisis this is the difference between a politician
(01:19:05):
and a leader. Uh, hemade a selfless decision and people who are
heartbroken even people who are pushing forthis to happen. It's kind of like
like when when you're when your grandpa, you gotta take the keys, and
everybody you gotta take his keys. You gotta take his keys, and you
gotta and and and he's fighting, and he's fighting. Everybody's so frustrated,
and then you finally get the keysback and then you just cry because this
(01:19:26):
is somebody that you love. Thisis somebody that you care about. This
is somebody who was there for thisis somebody you wouldn't be here without him.
Oh my god, settled down, man, It's not a selfless act.
The great money Python, I rememberthis phenomenal money Python. But do
you remember the part if you're goingbackways where they said she's a witch and
they're like, well, we needa test. What's the test. We'll
(01:19:48):
burn her out the steak. Ohno, no, no, no,
I know, I know. We'llthrow her in the water with with chains
and with stones, and if shedrowns, she's not a witch. And
if she survives, she's a witch, and will burn her at the steak.
(01:20:09):
Does that seem fair? You didthe same thing. You did the
same thing. You basically said, look you are screwed. We're going to
throw you out, or you're goingto get out. Those are your choices,
but both of them in the sameway. With you being out,
who should feel cheated? The Democraticvoter. I'm not talking about all voters.
(01:20:32):
I'm talking about the Democrats, thevoters. You were screwed over by
the powers that be who wanted tomake sure that they kept their power in
place. Then when they thought,oh my god, we can't hide it
anymore, and the other powers thatbe thought that their place was at risk,
they turned and this is what you'vegot. You've done this to yourself.
(01:20:55):
But this is a human moment forone of the great humans in America.
This is a huge moment for him, for his family, for all
of us who love him, forall of us who wanted him to get
across the finish line. But ifyou're a young person watching this, this
is leadership. This is patriotism. This is what it means to put the
country first, and put the partyfirst, and put the cost first when
your arm gets tired, to letsomebody else finish pitching the game. That's
(01:21:18):
what Joe Biden has done, andhe's done that for all of us and
so I just want to say,I don't know who's going to be the
VP, the non VP. Idon't know anything about politics. I just
know that I love this man.I care about this man. It was
painful every day to sit up hereand talk about him like he's just some
problem for the party. Way tillwe get to the convention, you're gonna
see people crying, standing, screaming, cheering. He may not get a
(01:21:42):
chance to talk for ten minutes. We finally get a chance to put our
arm around this guy. He didthe right thing for this country. You
did the right thing for this party. All of us are going to be
in this situation someday, and Ihope that we take a moment to honor
this man and to love this man. I love Joe Biden. I appreciate
what he's done, and a lotof people are heartbroken today. Even if
it's the right thing, it's stillhorrible. He's not a legend, he's
not a hero. He didn't dothe right thing. He was forced into
(01:22:04):
doing the right thing. And it'sgot to be taught. It's gotta be
super super hard. Look, thereare more than Joe Biden is not gone
ninety percent of the time, he'sthere, probably seventy percent of the time.
So you're understanding as a human beingthat things aren't going the way that
you want. You're understanding as ahuman beings as a person realizes that the
(01:22:28):
end is near in life, thatyou can see the finish line, that
the identity that you have crafted forthe last fifty years is no longer going
to be. That all of thesethings are taking place, but you still
decided as early as Saturday afternoon thatyou weren't going to get out of the
(01:22:49):
race. So if you were thelegend and the hero in this, knowing
that you were slipping, no knowingthat you were struggling, knowing that all
of those things were going on,you should have gotten out months ago.
(01:23:09):
But it wasn't until they took youinto another room and pulled up a giant
chart that says you have no chanceand hell of winning period case close,
end of story. You've gotten nomoney, you've gotten nothing, and they're
gonna come after you starting Monday ina real way. They're gonna tear you
(01:23:30):
up and down. They're gonna leakeverything in the history of the world they
possibly can. The media is gonnaturn on you you're screwed, or you
craft a nice letter and away yougo. That's not being a hero or
a leader. That's being somebody whowas forced to do something that they didn't

You're listening to the Chad Benson Show. Now it's time to find out what's
trending. What's trending? I'm signedJames Dean, Norway, Oman, Pakistan,
Qatar, Russia, serm, whattrapping? Let's find out what's trending
(01:25:58):
on the old interwebs on this month. I think you know what the number
one trending thing is. That's rightwnba oh No, it's not. No
start with Google Biden ten million searchesplus yesterday. Josh Shapiro, who's that
Governor? Of Pennsylvania, very importantstate trending. Gavin Newsom, also governor
of California, the state that theDemocrats will win. But is he the
(01:26:25):
VP candidate? No, Mark Kellymy favorite as far as the VP candidates
go. Opportunities for him. JoeManchin. Is he going to run?
The word is that he is goingto throw his name potentially in the hat
by reregistering as a Democrat. MichelleObama DNC Convention, Robert Kennedy Junior,
(01:26:49):
All trending. In the magical worldof Google. Head over to Yahoo number
training, think Kamala Harris, Kamala, how do you say her name?
We will find out. Caitlin Clark, Prince, Harry Jake, Paul,
Lanna Braves all trending, and thenover to Twitter, Oh Twitter slash x
(01:27:15):
Kamala, Hillary Mansion, Pete. That's mayor Pete to you Democrats. Shapiro,
Mark Kelly, Democracy, Michelle Obama. Willie Brown. I posted something
about Willy Brown yesterday and some peoplelike, how dare you and other people
like, what are you talking about? And if you don't know who Willy
Brown is? And I said, this isn't disparage Kamala or any of this
(01:27:41):
stuff. But if you don't knowanything about Willy Brown, he was arguably
the most powerful man in California politics. He was a guy that was a
mover and a shaker mayor of SanFrancisco. He dated Kamala when she was
young and he was very powerful, helped her get on some boards things of
(01:28:01):
that nature. And there's this kindof sordid thing that people are gonna bring
out. And I kept saying, look, guys, you're gonna find out
who will he is. And atthe same time, it is going to
be something that Kamala has to dealwith. Harris is gonna have to deal
with the stuff that's coming at her, and we've talked about it throughout the
day. She is gonna have todeal. Now that you're it, be
(01:28:23):
prepared for what is coming, becauseit ain't gonna be easy. Three two,
three, five, three, eight, twenty four, twenty three at
Chad Benson shows your Twitter tweet atas texta program. But a lot of
people were pissed, how dare yousay that? How dare you bring that
up? I'm just saying, thisis the thing. When you want to
be the person, if you will, if you want to be the man,
(01:28:44):
if you want to be the personthat leads, if you want to
be the person that is is isyou know headlined, there's gonna be a
lot different things coming at you inways that you've never had it before.
And she is going to have todeal with that. She's gonna have to
come to terms that the things comingat her now are much different than before
(01:29:09):
she ran once. Let's not forgetthat she ran one time. She raised
a lot of money very fast, and then she never made it to Iowa.
So this is gonna be a situationwhere she's gonna have to face the
facts that this is a much differentthing being the person you're probably gonna be
(01:29:29):
at the top of the ticket. And I say probably because you never know
what's gonna happen. I don't thinkeverybody was thrilled by just anointing her,
and I don't think it's good forher that they annoyed her. She came
out yesterday, so she wants toearn the nomination, et cetera, et
cetera. Those are the things yousay. Any think Hillary feels right now?
Oh, she was only a fewyears younger. It's not very nice
(01:29:50):
yet. And Trump, now you'rethe old person on the ticket, I'm
Trump. What do you do?Because you're gonna have to deal with the
fact that you're the old person onthe ticket, There's no doubt about that.
You have to understand you're it whenit comes to age and people are
gonna be looking at you and it'snow becoming an issue for you. Talk
about that A lot of other stuffto get to three two, three,
(01:30:12):
five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three At Chad Benson Show is
your Twitter, It's a historical day, week month. It seems like every
time we turn around, something historicalis happening. But yes, something historical
was happening. A week ago.We were talking about the assassination attempt on
Trump's life, and now we're talkingabout the person he's running against, the
(01:30:33):
the President of the United States, dropping out crazy, Chad Benson, Joe
Sun, Chad Benson Show, IndependentThoughts, Independent Life. This is Chad
(01:31:05):
Benson historic to say the least. This guy and I were texting back and
forth yesterday as all of this wasbreaking. Joining us now Jim Kennedy Kennedy
Institute of Public Policy Research, andfirst, Jim, let's put it in
historic kind of you know, context, here because this was a big effing
deal. As Joe Biden once said, yes, it absolutely is. Good
(01:31:27):
morning, Chad. We basically gotto go back at least to the nineteen
sixty eight Democrat situation where LBJ LyndonBaines Johnson, president at the time,
stepped down in April and announced shewasn't going to run, rather than actually
go through a primary process like wehave here and before that, you've got
to go back over one hundred yearsto have a situation like this. So,
yes, it is historic. Itis unprecedented, especially in the modern
(01:31:49):
times, where you have kind ofthis presumption of a nominee. Once all
of the delegates vote and the fourteenmillion Democrats who voted for Joe Biden now
have their vote, it's basically nullified, and are told doesn't matter who you
voted for, We're gonna go picksomeone else, because what America knew all
along was that Joe really wasn't competentto be the nominee for your party,
(01:32:11):
and we were kind of running ahoax on you. And now we've got
another person who's gonna hopefully be thenominee for us and lead us to victory.
So they think you know that's fair. I've said this throughout the day
on the show. First of all, he's not a legendary hero he was.
His choice was, you know, you know, basically, you're gonna
jump or you're gonna get pushed.Either way, it's happening. And so
(01:32:32):
he chose the quote unquote heroic becausehe had no choices. And the second
thing is the DNC only asked himselfto blame for this because they rigged the
primary system where they moved from Iowa, they went out there, they started
in South Carolina. They basically threatenanybody who wanted to get in. Only
Dean Phillips and Mary and Williamson werein it. And the reality is is
(01:32:54):
they wouldn't even do a debate becausethey knew what it would be like.
They have themselves to blame for thisto one hundred and twenty five percent.
Absolutely yep. And like you said, they rig the process as it was
to make sure that even if youtried to run against Joe, you basically
you're basically your your delegates would youknow, would would be negated. So
yeah, it's absolutely ridiculous what theydid. And they have absolutely the same
(01:33:15):
thing. This is in a senseanother Ruth Bader Ginsburg moment, where you
could have had a pick of yourof your choosing. You could have had
an open process, or she couldhave stepped down in time and Obama could
have picked her her her replacement. But instead she had to unfortunately die during
Donald Trump's term for the Democrats, and they got they had to go with
what Donald Trump picked. And theDemocrats could have had an open primary,
(01:33:35):
there could have been a great debateor who should be the next the next
Democratic nominee, and instead they hadto go basically put Kamala in. Kamala
in there, excuse me. Andfor the most part, there still isn't
a lot of love for her amongstthe donor class. If you notice,
there's no there is no endorsement fromObama, there's no endorsement from Pelosi,
there's no endorsement from Schumer or forJeffreyes as far as I know of a
(01:34:00):
Kamala Harris. So what exactly doesthat mean? Joe Indorster. Yes in
an email that are in a letterthat we've seen, though no one has
seen Joe Biden since his alleged steppingdown from the nomination talking to Jim Kennedy
Kennedy Institute of pulg Policy Research. You know, we haven't seen Joe,
and I have to be from whatI understand, my sources are saying,
(01:34:20):
he's fuming, he's pissed, he'sangry, he's going through all of the
emotions as you would do because you'realso I mean, and you recognize this,
Jim, as a human being, you're going through something where all the
things that you work for fifty years, your identity is going away. Secondly,
you also understand that you're in overtimeof life, so there's a lot
of things going on there. Butlast night would have been the opportunity to
(01:34:43):
come out and have the nation wherethey're not coming home from work, they're
not taking their kids to you know, sports and all of that stuff.
They're not at the movies or dinnerwith their friends. You had the nation
at home on a Sunday night andyou didn't do anything. No, and
there is no just like I'll talkto you later in the week and it's
(01:35:04):
like wow, that's yeah, that'slike, what's going on here? Do
they? You know, does hehave more problems? Is he you know,
how bad is he sick from COVID. Is there something else going on?
There'd be some silly things hinted atby the by his brother that you
know, but the time we haveleft with Joe. Okay, sure,
we know Joe's up there and youknow, probably isn't going to live another
twenty year. Maybe hopefully he does, God bless him. But it's you
(01:35:26):
know, what exactly does that alsomean? So yeah, it's very weird.
Evidently this wasn't something that where theygathered the staff together and had an
announcement. It was pretty much alot of the staff in the White House
found out on Twitter when it wasposted that he stepped down. There was
no announcement beforehand. There was acall afterwards, I believe with some of
the staff, but nobody knew beforehand. I'm not sure even if the Vice
(01:35:49):
president had been notified beforehand that shewas going to be the nominee, and
they've still been up until earlier.Even on Saturday, they were sending out
announcements about Joe was going to bein Chicago for a luncheon this week and
Jill is doing a fundraiser in Paristhis Thursday on the start of the Olympic
Games. So I don't exactly knowwhat's going on there, but there's certain
(01:36:11):
seems to be not a well executeda communication plan for this. That's for
darnshare, no talking to Jim Kennedy. Kennedy Issue public policy research. Let's
switch from there, Kamala, Ithink there needs to be somewhat of an
open primary. You're going to giveit to her. You've lived your life
on identity politics. You're not goingto take it away from her. That
being said, you have to doit, and I think it would be
good for her. She needs toreintroduce herself to the American people. She
(01:36:33):
needs to show that she's not thegiggler in chief. She needs to show
that the word salad isn't there anymore. And I think the more times you
up the bat, the better it'sgoing to be, whether you're holding town
halls or many kind of debates andprimary stuff. I think she needs to
do that to assure the Democrats andpotentially the donor class that yeah, Okay,
(01:36:56):
we're making, if not the mostwide open, transparent decision, at
least something we feel comfortable with.Yeah, And I'm not con I mean,
I'm so not convinced that she isone hundred percent going to be the
nominee. I keep hearing that she'sgoing to one hundred percent being the nominee.
The Joe Mansion thing isn't going tohappen. He's actually, i think
said this morning, he's not actuallygonna run because he's not really technically a
registered Democrat anymore. But sobeit that, I think she's got a week or
(01:37:19):
two to prove herself to the tothe to the donor class, and to
the higher ups in the party likethe Obama's and the Pelosis who haven't endorsed
her yet. I think she getsa second first impression, and if she
stumbles when when she comes out withthat, it's going to be like we
were just after that first debate againand what you know, what do you
do now? If they decide,Wow, she really can't do this.
(01:37:41):
She is not up for this. She has not learned in three and a
half years anything. Standing next toJoe about how to be presidential. She
is laughing in appropriate times, orgiggling or talking about school buses or ven
diagrams or things like that. Soshe's really got to step up. She
is traditionally been bad with staff asand she doesn't keep staff. She's brutal
(01:38:02):
on them. She evidently doesn't liketo be briefed and doesn't like to read
the briefing materials because you think sheknows it, and manytimes, she doesn't.
So it's gonna be very interesting tosee what happens. And I don't
know if they're going to do akind of put her out there and let
her sink or swim, or they'regoing to kind of slowly push her out
there in very favorable situations only sothat, you know, so that it's
(01:38:24):
going to be a friendly audience regardlessof what she says or how many ven
diagrams she discusses. Yeah, theven diagram thing is spectacular. Talking to
Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute Public Policy Research. Now, Jim, let's break down
the thing that maybe one of themost important vice presidential picks ever. Normally
you pick somebody. Trump needed evangelicals. He went with Pence, right,
(01:38:45):
Biden wanted to make sure that hechecked the box. He went with
you know, you know Harris,at the time, she is going to
need to do something where whether peoplewant to like to hear this or not,
she needs to pick a middle agedwhite dude to maybe calm the fears
down of some other people inside ofthe party. And part of that is
because the progressivism has gotten so outof control that I think a lot of
(01:39:08):
people are worried that it's going tobe the squad two point zero. Her
picks are you know, I lookin the you know, you hear Andy
Butcher, you hear Shapiro, youhear the likes of you know, Whittmer
Newsom have already kind of ruled themselves. I don't eve think Newsom could do
it because she's also from California. But I hear Mark Kelly here, he's
getting vetted somewhat. I think thatwould be a good pick Swing State.
(01:39:31):
What do you think? Yeah,Kelly's name. I keep I keep hearing
from a lot of people in alot of different forums. I you know
Mark, I mean you know himbetter than I do, because I believe
you've interviewed him once or twice ofa non mistaken Yeah, he gets mad
at me all the time because everytime I interviewed him, always asking him,
come on, do you can behonest about because he was he was
a he was an astronaut. Yeah, there's there's aliens. Right, there's
(01:39:53):
aliens. You got to tell methere's aliens. And he gets all mad
at me. That's great. Uhyeah, you know they're going to play
that up if he's picked. Imean, he's he to me, he's
beige. He's the perfect beige personfor them. He is nothing outstanding about
him. He's an astronaut, he'sa fighter pilot. He checks on the
boxes. You know, you wouldbe considered an American hero because of all
(01:40:14):
of those accomplishments. He's a senator. He has unfortunately had to go through
his wife being you know, withan attempt assassination attempt by a crazed shooter
almost a decade ago. So hegets that, you know. So you
know, people have sympathy for obviously, as they should for him for that.
And he but he says nothing.Really that is all that you know
(01:40:34):
that that's really all that noteworthy. He doesn't make any great headlines. She
doesn't make any great faux pause either. From what I've seen. He's from
Arizona. It's a border state. She has the borders are and has done
a horrible job as the borders are. She has the borders are. Who
has not gone to the border, which was an interesting conversation she had with
the news media at one point tryingto claim that I think she flew over
(01:40:55):
the border or something that qualified. She's also never been to Europe. Remember
that, absolutely, she's not youhear it either, exactly, thank you.
But but but Kelly brings them, you know, a border steak again.
You know, I just had amiddle aged white male. The other
ones bring them that Joshapiro is Jewish, and there's some questions about that,
Not that I personally have any,but there are some people that would question
(01:41:15):
whether that would hinder them. Well, yeah, because if you're trying to
go for you know, she isseen as the you know, an extension
of the squad, and she's gotto get out in front of that.
I heard Chris Matthews say that today, she's got to get out in front
and say I want nothing to dowith this, and I'm about Israel and
I'm about you know, we needto have a two state solution. But
Israel has the right to defend themselves. But if she also decides to pick
(01:41:38):
Shapiro, people are gonna go allthose super progressives are like, nope,
there you go, you picked aJew and they have, of course said,
you know, are Zionists. Sothis is America. No, absolutely,
And that's the thing is, shedefinitely has to run to the middle
on this. Ye. Absolutely, for everything she does. She has to
like not be basically squad two pointover the fifth squad member or whatever you
want to call her because of that. Yeah, I mean she and she's
(01:41:59):
gonna have a historical problem with allof the things she has said in the
past and done in the past, from basically either being too progressive into twenty
twenty where she was bailing out riotersin Minneapolis with a fund versus her history
in California as being a prosecutor whoput behind bars an abnormal number of African
American men who smoked marijuana. Soshe's got both sides of that that are
(01:42:21):
not going to help her with variouscommunities in various parts of the identity politics
game that the Democrats play. Soyeah, so that's going to be an
absolute mess, which again why yousaid Mark Kelly helps if it really wants
to be Gavin. By the way, Gavin has canceled everything for the next
two or three days on a schedulethat came out yesterday afternoon. There is
some word that he may be interestedin being the pick. They can basically
(01:42:45):
to get around the Twelfth Amendment problemis they could just have Kamala basically be
reregistered in Virginia because she's lived therefor the last three years as VP.
So they could probably take care ofit that way, just as if Mark
or Rubio would have reregistered Inina ifhe had been Donald Trump's pick for the
vice president. So they can getaround that. I don't know necessarily if
Gavin wants it, because this couldbe a monumental disaster, dumpster fire of
(01:43:11):
a campaign because of just of howlate this is and the disorganization of it.
So I'm not sure that's why you'regonna have a problem getting maybe a
Shapiro or a Basher who really errorGavin, who thinks they have real presidential
aspirations in twenty eight and just say, look, I don't want to be
part of this dumpster fire. Youguys just go off and I'll work on,
you know, putting together campaign ina couple of years for the twenty
(01:43:31):
eight campaign. We'll go forward fromthere. And I don't want my name
associated with this because if this goesdown in flames, I'm gonna be the
guy that was part of the disasterticket in twenty twenty four. Love having

so what it's the Chat Benson Show. I can imagine what can be and
be unburdened by what has been? You know, what can be unburdened by
what has been? What can beunburdened by what has been? What can
be unburdened by what has been? What can be unburdened by what has been?
(01:45:30):
What we can see, what webelieve can be unburdened by what has
been? What can be unburdened bywhat has been? What can be unburdened
by what has been? What canbe unburdened by what has been? What
can be unburdened by what has been? Who we can be unburdened? By
(01:45:51):
who we have been? What canbe unburdened by what has been? Where
we can be unburdened by where wehave been and unburdened by where we are
right now? What can be unburdenedby what has been? What can be
unburdened by what has been? Whatcan be unburdened by what has been?
Oh my, you can't do that. You got to get out there.
(01:46:13):
Historic A week ago, we weretalking about the fact that Donald Trump,
leader of the Republican Party, gettingready to go to the RNC to accept
the nomination, was almost killed andthe debacle that that was. Eight days
later, Joe Biden drops out ofthe race, and now it's kind of
a mini free for all. Eventhough VP Harris is definitely the person that
(01:46:38):
people are looking at the most,I still think she's got a week or
so to prove herself and not tocome out with that kind of bs because
that isn't going to win over America. There are a lot of people skeptical
of her. Even people within herown party are skeptical of her, and
even voters who don't know a lotabout her. But she tried once and
(01:47:00):
it didn't go well. Look,I get it. What's the name Kamela?
There you go, you know whoit is. That's the title.
Anyway, What do you mean bythat? She doesn't actually do anything?
You don't like her, sweetheart?Nobody likes her. If she can make
it to the tab anyone can onlyreason that I don't want Joe Biden to
die is if he does, weget stuck with her. MAILA. Harris
has been vice president for four years. What are some of her greatest accomplishments.
(01:47:24):
Nothing? Yeah, something about airplanebathrooms not being accessible. What is
Kamala Harris done for the community?Nothing? Oh, that doesn't sound like
a win. By the way, those are Democratic voters. Everybody at home
watching this? What does she dofor us? Kamala was supposed to handle
the migrant crisis. How's that workingout? So far, so not so
(01:47:45):
good. The border's unsecured. Justlet migrants in our country to take over
the world. Beat the police up. We got millions of people come to
can't you take a hold of dumb? If Joe Biden decides he's not gonna
run for re election, should KamalaHarris automatically be the nominee, she would
be absolutely trounced no, I ratherterm. Kamla Harris is declaring that she's
ready to serve is she? Sheis ready and she is champion at the
(01:48:09):
bit. Well she might get herchance. What brings us to this?
And then I go and spoil itall? I say something stupid. It's
all think stupid tills this morning. It's the honest ones you want to watch
out for because you can never predictthey're gonna do something incredibly stupid. Now
you're the fat, stupid one withthe big mouth. Is stupid little at
(01:48:33):
right? You should never underestimate thepredictability of stupidity. Now it's time for
stupid information. Nineteen sixty eight. This guy Lbja, I shall not see
and I will not accept the nominationof my party for another term as your
(01:48:56):
president was not the first, bythe way, for your stupid information.
There wrote before him, and beforeJoe James K. Polk, James Buchanan,
Ruther V. Hayes, Calvin coolandsaid a second term just seems like
too long Harry S. Truman, and now Joe Biden joins that list.
You guys, have a blessed restof your Monday. It's chaos and craziness
follows across all of our social media. As always Night eye Jack. This
(01:49:20):
is the Chad Benson Show.
