Speaker 1 (00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. This is Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
I will tell you the truth. That's what I do.
You're a truth teller. I am truth is Donald Trump's
fumbling the ball, jacking the pooch, screwing the whole damn
thing up. You're a hater. No, I'm honest. I'm honest.
He is everything going for him. When it comes to

(00:39):
where we're headed, vast majority of Americans think we're headed
in the wrong direction. Their issue, voters, and the issue
that is number one in their heart and in their
bank account is inflation, the cost of living. Can they
make it? You're making things personal. People don't like that.
You're making things personal. Your base may like that, but

(01:03):
as I have told you over and over again, your
base is already there. They don't get a vote twice
the Democrats do. Shut up. You've got to win this
based on things that aren't your base, people that aren't

(01:23):
your base. That five hundred thousand million people across several
states that will decide this.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
You have to win.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Them over. And you are sitting in the right place
when it comes to what is frustrating the hell out
of them inflation, immigration, But the number one thing is inflation.
Frank Lunz, Polster Republican for many years now just a

(01:53):
Polster poster, but talking about how Trump is making this
thing personal, getting off message and losing the room.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Donald Trump has not had two good weeks since.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
Biden pulled outs. He's been off message.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
He's been very negative and very hostile, and clearly he's
kind of lost his balance. He absolutely emerged from the
convention with a clear and convincing lead.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
But what has happened.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
He stopped talking about immigration, he stopped talking about inflation,
and has said he's been so personal with his attacks
that voters are starting to recoil. And it's not been
a good It's been really an awful two weeks.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Fra him and awful two weeks. And I think that's
an understatement from her crowds or AI. By the way,
I had a couple of friends who were covering the
crowds in Arizona. There was fifteen thousand people there. They
were there hours earlier. They're all actors. Okay, they're all actors.

(02:57):
They're there for a concert. Some of those things are true.
The concert. I don't know about the actor thing. I've
saw that, but I'm not quite sure, I believe all
of that. Of course you wouldn't. I've been saying, you
stay on message, make it about policy, not personal. You win.
You stay on message, you win. You get off message

(03:20):
and start battling her for crowd sizes, You start battling
her for things that do not matter. You take away
from the message that matters most and shift over to
her and give her a sympathetic figure, and you piss
off some people in the middle that you're going to need.

(03:43):
Does he care? No, I don't think he does. I
think he's going to do what he does, and if
he blows this, that's on him.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
We're doing focus groups now trying to measure those who
are coming over with the Harris who did not support
Biden and make a mistake. Are issue voters, and nothing
matters more to them than either inflation, which I call affordability,
because they simply can't get the food and the housing
and the healthcare and the fuel and all the things

(04:13):
they want to live. And it's also immigration, which is
a broader issue to them because that's a sense of
safety and security.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
Trump has the advantage.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
And this is what I do not understand as a
paul Ster and someone's been doing this for thirty five years.
Trump has the advantage on these issues by ten, fifteen,
even twenty points, and yet he's not talking about them.
She's on message.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
He is not stay on message, which is hard. And
this is my frustration with Trump. There's the undisciplined side
of him. Stay on message. Stay on message if you
want to win on Saturday, and rarely do I go
on Twitter on the weekends just because. But Timpoole, who

(04:59):
I like, was sticking up for Joe Rogan because last
week supposedly Joe Rogan endorsed ore FK Junior. He did not,
at least he's come out and said he didn't, says
he likes the guy. And Trump then takes a swipe
at Rogan, you know, as you do, right, because that's important,

(05:24):
And you swipe at Rogan and basically say you know,
you disavow Rogan and say, you know, we'll see what
happens next time you walk in the ring at the UFC.
And and then all of a sudden, all these other
people start swiping at Rogan all the and Tim Poole
comes out, and you know, this is a conservative ish commentator,
free speech commentator says, this is the problem with MAGA

(05:45):
right here. You guys are follow him like the cult
or else. You never build a coalition, You never try
to grow. You just want to be in the club. Well,
the club isn't going to get you over the line.
You're going to have to figure out how you expand
the club, build a coalition. The number one thing you
do is stick to message. He can't. And there's my frustration. Immigration.

(06:08):
My god, come on, she tried to talk tough on
immigration as if Look, if you're gonna come out and
you're going to try to talk like tough on immigration,
then throw the old dude under the bus. And I'm
not talking about Trump. Say look, I don't agree with
anything Biden's done. I wanted to do this, this, this,
and this, and he said no. But you won't. She's
gonna have to answer some questions soon, hopefully. But if

(06:31):
you stick to message, you win. It's that simple. In
text the program three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four twenty three, Atchad Benson shows your Twitter a couple
of texterers. No one is going to change Donald Trump's
personality or temperament. He is who he is. People don't
have to like Trump to vote for him. Like a
boss that few workers like. We tolerate the boss because
of results equal a paycheck. American voters have to get

(06:54):
over they're having to like a candidate before voting for
the candidate. Focus on the results and you'll never remember
how much you hate that individual. The difference is we
don't get a vote for another boss. And if you
think the paycheck may be better over there and you
have a chance to vote for another boss, well then
what happens? Maybe you vote for the other boss. Oh
that's always a possibility. Sam or Buddy Massachusetts. Hey Chad, Sam,

(07:19):
I'm unenrolled voter and want to know if anyone that
is close to Trump. He needs to know who we
are need to convince us to vote for him. Please
tell him that we want to stop the personal attax
and to win, focus on the plan to recover the country.
The more he talks, the more he loses my unenrolled vote.
I hear a lot of that. It's about Look, I'm

(07:40):
a policy guy. You stop thinking about Well, I believe this,
so this has to be true for everybody. It's not.
It's not if your goal is to convince five hundred
thousand people across several states to vote for you so
you can win. You need to find out what is
their main concern And if being a richard turns them

(08:04):
off and gets them not to vote for you, either
stay home or vote for somebody else, well then maybe
that's not the plan of action. Oh that's not very nice, Jed.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
We have never had a situation where the country was
more believing, more universal, believing that we're off on the
wrong track, believing that it's harder to make ends meet
today than it was three and a half years ago,
believing that we're worse off today than we were four
years ago. Donald Trump should be winning based on those beliefs,
and they are widely held and the spread is significant,

(08:41):
and yet he's not. And the reason why, in the end,
is Donald Trump the persona. And it's fascinating as a
polster because this is going to determine who wins on
election day. And that's why messages and advertising and shows
like this commerses it all matters.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Four weeks ago, Joe Biden was the Democratic nominee.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Today life is completely different, and who knows how it
will be two weeks from now.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Focus on the things that matter and you in. That's it.
I don't care about her crowd size. I don't care
about any of those things. Stop letting the media dictate
things because you give them things to run with. If
your goal is to win, if your goal is to
make noise, and your goals to get the base excited,
and your goals to do all of those things, then

(09:30):
do what you've done. But if your goal is to win,
and you know the path is in front of you
and all you have to do is follow that path
and you get there, well, he is who he is.
I never said he was anything other than who he is.
He's an enigma. But part of being all of the
great things is being able to pivot when you need to.

(09:52):
Nobody's saying change who you are. What they're saying is
fix the messaging and stop making it personal. You can
still be funny, you can still take swipes, you can
still do all of those things. But if the entire
time that you are going to campaign is going to
be pushing craziness, making an aggrievous fest, talking about the

(10:18):
size of the crowd, doing all of those if that's
what this is going to be about, and then make
it extremely personal all the time. And that turns off
those voters that are in the middle and personally they're
not a fan of you, but they like your policy.

(10:38):
But you get to the point where they can't stand
you and they're not going to vote for you. They'll
either stay home or vote for her. That's not a win.
And if you want to win elections and the path
is in front of you, why don't you follow it?
Three two, three, five, three eight three at chat, Benson

(11:01):
shows your Twitter tweet at us text the program. I'm
sure I'm gonna get some more hate as you do.
I'm okay with that though, like I said, I'm gonna
tell you the truth. You may not like hearing it,
but it's the reality of what's going on out there.
I like Trump's policies better. I don't really care about
either of the personalities. He makes me laugh, but at

(11:25):
the same time he's infuriating. He is and never have
we been so on the same page when it comes
to where we're headed and the frustration with immigration and
inflation in the economy as we are now, and the
person who has the lead in many cases, especially on

(11:47):
you know, immigration whatnot by double digits big time, can't
get that message across because he's too busy going My
crowds are way bigger. That's not message. Jeez, Rough Greens,

Speaker 7 (13:13):
We had showed that it was the neck and neck
race would have been down to the wire. But what
happened was a number of my Democratic colleagues in the
House of Senate thought that I was going to hurt
them in the races, and I was concerned if I
stayed in the race, that would be the topic you'd
be interviewing about. Why did Nancy Pelosi say?

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Why did some of it?

Speaker 7 (13:36):
And I thought it'd be a real distraction.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
First of all, I had no idea what he said
half the way through this. He is such an afterthought
right now, isn't he. It's weird. It's like he's been
put out the pasture. It's like who's running the who's
steering the ship right now? Out of curiosity? Out of curiosity.
It's interesting, though, that he's doing interviews when the lady
who's running for president is not doing any Somebody else

(14:01):
doing interviews Nancy Pelosi, who I think is worried that
her relationship with him is fractured.

Speaker 8 (14:06):
I love him so much. I think he's been really
a fantastic president of the United States. So I really
wanted him to make a decision of a better campaign
because they were not facing the factor of what was happening.
Just so background, I've never been that impressed with his political.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Operation, Biden's operation.

Speaker 8 (14:24):
Yeah, I'm not. I mean, I just hadn't They won
the White House bravo. But my concern was, this ain't happening,
and we have to make a decision.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
It's funny that we have to make a decision when
we aren't part of that team. No, you ran that team, crazy, man,
I mean, think about it. It's not a coup. It
was business. So I said last week, one thing about
Nancy is she's business. It ain't personal, baby, it's business.
And business isn't good right now, and you're not good

(14:57):
for business, and we're going to have to do some
And a couple people were like, I can't believe you said.
That was leadership for her side of the aisle. Absolute leadership,
absolute leadership, absolute, And if you're the Republicans, you're like, damn,
she should have kept her mouth shut. We'd win this.
Trump is having issues with his campaign. We've already talked

(15:17):
a bit about that. But this has nothing to do
with the campaign so much as behind the scenes. And
what may have happened was he hacked.

Speaker 9 (15:25):
The White House telling me that they are taking this
very seriously, so they would not confirm any of the
specific claims from the Trump team. Now, Microsoft said in
a report that an Iranian back group, through an email
scam did target a high ranking official of an unnamed
presidential campaign.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Chad Benson Show. Is your Twitter tweet at his
text the program right here on the Chad Benson Show.
We've heard all kinds of things, and you never know
what's true anymore. That's the sad thing of the world
we live in. But it sounds like they hacked and
got a decent amount of emails and correspondence between people

(16:02):
behind the scenes. Ew and some of that seems to
be a dossier, if you will, of jd Vance that
is supposed to be some two hundred pages. Why would
they have that, because that's what you do when you
vet somebody that is going to be vice presidential material
potentially a candidate. You have to know everything. Look what's

(16:26):
going on right now with Tim Walls and the Stolen Valor,
which is still picking up steam, and people are asking
serious questions, even on the left about this, and every
day there seems to be something new that comes out. Supposedly,
he told people in twenty twenty one that he was

(16:49):
at Bagram Air Force Base when bodies of soldiers were
coming off of an airplane and he talked about how
you'll never forget never there. He was never there. These
are the things right here that you go and you

(17:10):
search and find out what has he said in the
past is going to come bite him in the ass
three two, three, five, eight, twenty four to twenty three
at Chad Benson Show, to your Twitter, your Instagram, got
some of your texts coming up, some of your love
and hate, more on the Crazy Olympics, inclusing more on
the Crazy Olympics, including the Hero of the Olympics for
many that made us all smile on Friday. Since Chad

(17:31):
Benson Show, Sun, Chad.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Benson Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life, This is Chad Benson.

Speaker 10 (18:05):
I hate elon Mas. You don't even know how much
money he has donated. It's a drum ten trillion dollars.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
He doesn't need that money.

Speaker 10 (18:20):
He's already a trillionare trillionaire supporting other trillion airs. You
know how much money of that could be donated to
worthwhile causes like the Budden Harris campaign.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
That's somebody taking the piss out of people who are
freaking out over Elon Musk and his evilness. All kidding aside,
The Brits are threatening to come after anybody who post
things they deem evil and bad, including Americans, that could
cause well, bad things to happen over there, and if

(19:02):
you're not paying attention. There's been some issues with unfettered
access to the country from people who are immigrating there
and basically coming in full stop, moving into areas where
they essentially wall themselves off from the rest of the country,
with no interest in being British whatsoever. People are kind

(19:24):
of fed up with it and it's not working.

Speaker 11 (19:26):
I think there are enormous problems that mass migration has
created in terms of our culture, and that mass migration
has taken place at such a rate that integration has
been impossible, and that this has had an effect on
the very fabric of the nation, and that we need
to stop immigration now. And I don't mean just get
it down to three hundred thousand rather than the best

(19:48):
part of a million. We need to get it down
to the tens of thousands.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Tens of thousands. Why the tens of that? Because it's
not working the beauty of immigrations. A lot of people
want to come to places like Britain, places like here
at the west. But in coming to the West, you
need to be open to the West. The culture. The
ideas living your life as who you were before and

(20:18):
not wanting to be a part of where you are
is not a sign of success. In fact, it is
a sign of failure for both your country and yourself.
And by your country, I mean the country you just
moved to.

Speaker 11 (20:32):
It needs to be a small number to allow time
for integration and cultural acclimatization. That yes, we have created
in this country areas where communities are and we've seen
this with the Palestinian riots are carrying on with their

(20:52):
culture wrong, becoming part of the English or British culture,
and I think that is very difficult.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Jacob riesmog there as you can. He's very much an
app a crast person, but he's very honest. He's a
former member of parliament. Here's another former member of parliament,
Ham's that Yusef Scottish Parliament who says people like Elon
Musk are evil and bad should be dealt with.

Speaker 12 (21:18):
As for Elon Musk, he is one of I would suggest,
one of the most dangerous men on the planet. He
uses his billions, He is unaccountable to anyone to amplify
far right white supremacist ideology. He has, as you have
rightly said, suggested, I think instinctly is hoping for civil

(21:38):
war in some parts of Europe, including in the UK.
And instead of using X as a platform for good
and using his enormous wealth for good, he is using
it I think, for the most wicked evil possible. And
in terms of regulation, let me say this is something
that the Prime Minister Keir Starmer will now have to

(21:58):
think seriously about what more needs to be done. We
need to have beta regulation to ensure that we don't
have the kind of disinformation that has run rampant in
the last week been allowed to do so in the
future of such devastating consequences.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Oh really, he's the most evil man on the planet.
That seems like a bit of a stretch. Well, Chad,
he's calling for service, He's not calling for SIVI war.
He said it's going to be a civil war. Why
is that? Because you have decided to allow your country
to change in such a way, and the people that
help build your country, you were leaving them completely behind.
You're elevating another group of people while not asking them

(22:36):
to be a part of the country. While does that
sound familiar? In doing so, did you not expect there
would be some issues? But they would never do anything
like put you in jail. They would never call for
any of that. Met police Chief.

Speaker 13 (22:50):
And whether you're in this country committing crimes on the
streets or committing crimes from further afield online, we will
come after you. Being a keyboard warrior does not make
you safe from the law. You can be guilty offenses
of incitement stirring up racial hatred. There are numerous terrorist
offenses regarding publishing of material. All of those offenses are
in play if people are provoking hatred and violence on

(23:12):
the streets, and we will come after those individuals, just
as we will physically confront on the streets the thugs
and the yobs who are taking who are causing the
promise for communities.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Yeah, you don't want to be a yob. By the way,
if you don't know what a yob is, footballs Oh,
you're a bunch of yabos. Yobs, just a bunch of nutters.
So they're going to confront Yeah, this is insane, but
I do worry about it. First of all, social media
is crazy already. I was tell everybody if I didn't

(23:42):
do this job, the chance of me doing social media
would be slimmed, inn I, just because of the insanity
on there. It's not real life, but it can have
a huge effect on what goes on out there. Oddly enough,
the stuff that has a bigger effect is what app
discord telegram Comparatively to when you're looking activating people to
do things, those things have a bigger I guess they

(24:04):
have a bigger influence because they're the people who are
going to actually go out and do things. Those people
are on what happen all of these other things, not
so much on the Twitter and the Facebook. That's just
the celebris and everybody else who wants to be a
talking head who's out there saying stuff. But the fear
of this coming to a place like here. Thank god,
that's not going to happen. And thank god there is
a place for free speech, even if a lot of
it's stupid and disinformation and misinformation. That's where you need

(24:28):
to be aware of stuff. But frustrating, and let's not
forget why it's frustrating for the Brits. The same reason
is frustrating for us because you've allowed your borders to
essentially disappear, and in doing so, you're changing the makeup.
Not just oh, you mean more brown people, You're changing
the entire makeup of what it means to be a

(24:50):
brit or an American. Keep your culture, live your life
the way you do back in your home, and do
not assimilate. Do not be a part of this culture.
That will never work long term, that'll fail. And it's
scary the things that they're talking about over there, things
like this feels a little China esque.

Speaker 14 (25:11):
The time has come for a social credit system in
the West now. A lot of people are really scared
by these words. But the simple fact is we now
have the technology to drive individual behaviors to make a
better world and a fairer society. So say somebody was
spreading hateful content on the internet, you know, the government

(25:32):
could then disable their electric vehicle and stop them driving
around the country and spreading their hate to other parts
of the nation.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Does that sound very I don't know, dystopian.

Speaker 14 (25:43):
The same could apply to things like red meat. If
somebody's buying meat that week and destroying the planets, an
automatic limit could be put on their card to stop
them buying any more red meat. And you know, a
little message could come to their phone or a social
media platform saying, you know, you have bought this much
red meat. I'm sorry, you can't buy that kibbab at

(26:05):
three o'clock in the morning. This way we can drive
individuals to create a better world.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
You're forcing them, You're forcing them. That is a dystopian,
scary place, and some people out there on the left,
for whatever reason, think these are the things you have
to do. That is scary. Af you've eaten too much
red meat. Sorry, your car doesn't work anymore. You said

(26:34):
something I didn't like on the internet, and the government agrees,
so we've disabled your vehicle. No, thank you, I'll pass
good God. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your Twitter tweet
at us text to program. Love hearing from all of you.
By the way, we're going to get to last night's

(26:55):
closing ceremonies. But one of the things being talked about
is the Cruise stuff. And you know, he comes down
and does the thing and will place some of it.
But he was kissed and if you didn't see it,
So he comes down, does his little thing right, and
he's running through the crowd. He's gonna go down good
and go get the flag. And then you know, right

(27:16):
on this motorcycle and people are you know, he's running
through the crowd and people are taking pictures and this
lady just walladen a couple of kisses on him.

Speaker 15 (27:25):
And now it's raising the uh the the conversation about consent, right, like,
was should that lady be charged?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Should she? Should she be charged with a crime?

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Never thought of that? I know, right. You know, first
of all, I don't know you, lady. Secondly, that's Tom Cruise,
the last true movie star, and you just grabbed him
and kissed him. I think we're gonna have to have
a serious conversation about this. Was he sexually assaulted? Talk

(28:06):
about that and the greatest of all Olympians. That is
become the greatest meme of all time. That's coming up
as well. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three at Jed Bentson show is your Twitter,
tweeted at his text to program Raycons not to be
confused with ray Gunn. We'll get to her in a second.
Raycon's best earbuds around Absolutely incredible.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
What are they?

Speaker 2 (28:27):
First of all, the everyday earbuds, feel, fit, sound amazing
at a price that will not break the bank. And
you will truly love these.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
Now.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
What I love him I Raycons is the sound quality
absolutely second to none, smooth as can be, the fit
second to none. So when you've got the best fit

The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
The Olympics came to an end last night, And was
it awesome the last couple weeks at the Olympics. Yes,
because it wasn't politics. It wasn't Kay said, wasn't crazy.
Doesn't mean there wasn't some controversy. Will talk about that
in a second. There was controversy. But last night they

(30:20):
said goodbye to Paris, hello to Los Angeles, and they
did it in a little bit of style.

Speaker 17 (30:24):
Paris has been a tremendous post of the Olympic Games.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
And the Olympic flame extinguished. Seriously, thank you.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Paris just has.

Speaker 18 (30:35):
Been great gangster but y'all the big post.

Speaker 5 (30:40):
Dogee, I had to do it.

Speaker 18 (30:42):
I keep hoping a flag hanging up my backside and
only on that side. Yeah, that's the cup side.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
Up. Only only Tom Cruise.

Speaker 19 (31:04):
This Isria, Simone Biles and Tom Cruise for that opening ceremony,
the Journey to America again.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
So Tom Cruise on the top of the stud de France,
comes down off of it, jumps off of it. Right,
he's got all the pulley wires. Lands goes on stage
to get the Olympic flag from Simone Biles and La
Mayor Karen Bass, who nobody mentioned because well she's awful.
Then off he rode on a motorcycle and then they
had all these musical things on the other side right

(31:37):
that the Chili Peppers, Billie Eilish Snoop Dog. It was.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
It was cool.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
I mean, I'm excited twenty twenty eight coming to essentially
my hometown born and raised, baby born and raised. Very
excited for that. And I remember as a kid going
to the eighty four Olympic Games. It was so cool.
Went what because we were up literally within a mile
and a half two miles. The archery took place at
Eldorado Park and we went and watch that, and then

(32:02):
I went to a couple soccer games and I saw that.
You know, you're thirteen years old. It was totally cool.
But they had breakdancing in this one. It will not
be in that one. So they have test sports and
you may be in and then you may be out,
and they kind of plan ahead. But I watched breakdancing
and it was like one on one. It was awesome,
But the person who stole the show did not win.

(32:26):
The person who stole the show didn't even win a point.
It was Australian breakdancer Rachel Gun. Now if you did
not see they call a ray Gun. If you did
not see her, she is the meme of memes. First

(32:47):
of all, the Australian team did not help her with
her uniform. It was awful. Secondly, it was more like
interpretive dance. She hopped around like a kangaroo. She spun
in circles on the ground and not like a breakdancer,
but like a child where you're laying on your side
and you're just kind of running in circles. It was spectacular.

Speaker 20 (33:07):
I think my understanding of musicality going into breaking was
very strong.

Speaker 6 (33:12):
Your backgrounds in ballroom dancing, right.

Speaker 20 (33:14):
Yeah, I did boring for many years, and I also
did jazz and tap and some hip hop as well.

Speaker 21 (33:19):
Is there any kind of parallels between the two.

Speaker 22 (33:22):
Ah?

Speaker 20 (33:22):
Look, I mean I think my understanding of musicality going
into breaking was very strong. My body awareness, my coordination,
my eye for technique has been much stronger going into
the dance.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
It was spectacularly awful. It was it right shark or
left shark with Katy Perry better than that. She is
everywhere and they've come out to defend her because people
have torn her up. Some people have. The reality is
the internet fell in love with her because it was

(33:55):
so awful. You could have put me out there and
I would have been more entertaining as far as like
the moves she was. It was that bad it was,
and then they've had to come to defender. This is
the lady who is kind of the chief operations on
the ground person for the Australian team. Talking about Reygun.

Speaker 23 (34:17):
I love Rachel and I think that what has occurred
on social media with trolls and keyboard warriors and taking
those comments and giving them airtime has been really disappointing.
If you don't know Rachel's story. In two thousand and eight,
she was locked in a room crying being involved in
a male dominated sport as the only woman, and it

(34:39):
took great courage for her to continue on and fight
for her opportunity to participate in a sport that she
loved and that got her to winning the Olympic qualifying
event to be here in Paris. She is the best
breakdancer female that we have for Australia.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Well that's not very good if you've not seen it.
The hopping around like a kangaroo, because so what happens
is you're in like it looks like a ring, you know,
and they're they're they're battling each other. You're supposed to
point at each other. So the whole it was, it
was everything you'd want it to be. And when she

(35:17):
started hopping around like a kangaroo kind of making the faces,
that was it Like the other person's like, is are
we being serious now? Spectacular spec Tacular three, two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Is your
Twitter tweet ns text to program right here on The
Chad Benson Show, Coming up, Second hour We're going to

(35:43):
talk yes about the race. What race? The presidential race.

Speaker 24 (35:47):
This is an entirely different campaign. One week out from
the Democratic National Convention and a new poll shows and
Vice President Kamala Harris is gaining traction and those critical
battleground states. All of that really not sitting well with
for President Donald Trump, who has order to push in
conspiracy theories about the crowdside that are rallies and questioning
her racial identity.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
I said it earlier and people get mad, but he
is not sticking to the plan, is lashing out, and
several of you have chimed in, some of you mad,
but a lot more of you going yeah. I feel
like he's letting this slip away. Talk about that. A
lot of other stuff to get to, including what's going
on in the Middle East and Ukraine. Three two, three, five, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show's your Twitter,
It's a Chad Benson show.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
This is the Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life.

Speaker 6 (36:55):
This is Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
When will she speak about Harris? Kamala, current Vice president,
hopes to be president of the United States. The media
for a while was a little quiet on it. But
now they're starting to ask questions like, Hey, the rest
of the country thinks we're part of this campaign, which

(37:16):
we are, but we can't be this obvious.

Speaker 25 (37:20):
Kamala Harris has yet to hold a press conference. She's
been in this now twenty one days. She has yet
to do a single interview. Why is that and is
that going to.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
Change twenty one days?

Speaker 26 (37:33):
Jonathan three weeks started running for president forgot let me go? Okay,
before that, she did tons of interviews. She's done interviews
with you, She's done interviews. I'm sure she's going to
do interviews.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
I mean, are you positive she's going to do interviews?
You know who does jd vance? Jd Vance does any
interview anywhere, anytime, talk to anybody, CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC,
doesn't matter. He will go on there and talk.

Speaker 27 (38:06):
Now, ask me three questions about comments that I made
three years ago. I wonder what Kamala Harris thinks about
the fact that she supported policies that opened the American
Southern Boarder. I wonder what Kamala Harris thinks about the
fact that she lives to the American about Joe Biden's
mental facility for the office. You are interviewing me, Dana,
because I respect the American people enough to sit down France.

Speaker 5 (38:27):
I appreciate that Kala Harris has.

Speaker 27 (38:29):
Been the nominee for three weeks. She hasn't sat down
for a real We are asking.

Speaker 5 (38:33):
You're not gonna get it, but.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
You're still talking about the stupid cat thing. Get over.
It means nothing. It doesn't doesn't mean anything. Things the
matter in this inflation immigration state of the world that
maybe freaking out on balance. We're gonna talk about that

(38:58):
coming up in a little bit, but those things matter.
Where is she Why isn't she simple? She doesn't have to.
It's simple. She doesn't have to. You don't have to
do it until it's absolutely necessary. You don't. Why would you?
And I'll tell you this. I talked to a couple

(39:19):
Republican folks that work in and around pulling and doing
stuff for the Trump thing. They said to me, if
Trump could do a little bit more of that, he'd
be a little bit better position. What do you mean
not talking to media about everything all the time, which
we love, right, Let's be open and honest. We love
transparency sometimes too much though TMI point.

Speaker 27 (39:41):
Is Dana you've got me for fifteen minutes, or however
long you have me. We should be talking about public
policies that matter. How are we going to lower inflation,
How are we going to reduce the cost of food
and housing? How are we going to close down that
southern border. We've talked so little about that. We've talked
a lot more about a sarcastic remark I made three
years ago.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
I think we should talk about the issues that it's
here exactly one hundred percent, and that includes Trump. You
heard what JD just said. You heard what he said. Donald,
you heard it. Focus on it, Focus on it, Focus
on it.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
Frank Lunz, he has lost touch with the people that
he needs, and she is in perfect touch.

Speaker 5 (40:23):
Look at the rallies, look at how she relates to them.

Speaker 4 (40:26):
The challenge is what happens when she has a press conference,
what happens when she faces people like you asking questions
like yours. That's significant. She hasn't had to do it,
and eventually she will be forced to do so. But
as it's happening right now, her attributes versus Trump's issues, She's.

Speaker 5 (40:45):
Got the lead.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
She's got the lead. It's not true. It is absolutely true,
he has everything going for him as far as inflation.
People are frustrated. They're pissed, they're angry, they're looking at
their paycheck's not going as far as they used to go.
They're very frustrated about that. The American dream is becoming
a American nightmare. And in some cases it's far worse

(41:12):
than that. For some people who are just living off
their credit cards, thousands of dollars in debt, struggling you
like you could not believe, and and and you focus
on that message. That's all you gotta do. And it's
the message. What's the message? The message is inflation sucks,

(41:34):
You're not making what you should be. Immigration is rampant.
The world right now is on a powder keg. I'm
gonna come in. We're gonna cool the inflation anymore. We're
gonna rev this thing up the right way. We're gonna
do what we need to do when it comes to
China and the battle there for cheap goods. Try to

(41:56):
get us on a better footing than we are now.
We're gonna comp things down throughout the Middle East by
playing a little bit harder ball than we've been playing,
which is really not even quite sure what we're playing
or what the hell's going on. And when it comes
to immigration, we're going to sort this out. The message

(42:16):
is in hard, but he's not following the message. Instead,
he's focusing on things that do not matter.

Speaker 4 (42:21):
If this is an issue based campaign, Trump still has
the advantage. Not only am I not calling him out.
She is winning right now. She is absolutely ahead. But
we have ups and downs that this league will go
back and forth. But remember this is happening before the convention.
She's going to get a bounce from that convention, and
she's getting pre convention bounced. If it's about issues, Trump

(42:44):
is much more likely to be successful. If it's about attributes,
Harris is much more likely to be successful because Critt frankly, people.

Speaker 5 (42:53):
Like her more than they like him.

Speaker 4 (42:55):
It's something that if he's watching this right now, his
head is exploding and that's part of the problem.

Speaker 2 (43:01):
That is part of the problem. He'll take that and
run with it. Focus on the things that matter. You've
got everything in front of you. It's about message. Here's
the message, inflation, immigration, geopolitical world wars, things like that.
In focus on those, you're never going to win. People

(43:25):
like this, Why are you voting for Kamala. Why are
y'all voting for Kamala Harris?

Speaker 28 (43:30):
I don't want to.

Speaker 20 (43:31):
Lose my rights.

Speaker 11 (43:32):
I'm a trans man and I'm gay, and I have
been pregnant, and I've had.

Speaker 6 (43:36):
An abortion before, and I don't want to lose that.

Speaker 24 (43:39):
I'm afraid of not being able to be myself anymore.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
So that's why.

Speaker 29 (43:43):
I'm here today, and that's why I'm voting blue.

Speaker 20 (43:47):
I've also been pregnant, had an abortion before iwa was
a minor, and it would have been dangerous for me
to It would have been dangerous.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
For me to carry a baby with like I Also,
I'm very.

Speaker 29 (43:57):
You know, alternative, alternative, and I feel like if Trump
where to win, I wouldn't be able to like express
myself through my looks and everything.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
You're never going to get those people. What you need
to get is the average person who really can't stand
a lot of the attitude that you have, who are
sick and tired of you making it personal. Well, those
people are idiots. That's not the way to win them.
You know how many times over the last week I've
talked to people who are because they'll ask me, do

(44:26):
you think Trump's going to win, And I say, if
he continues down the path, he's going right on. No,
I don't. Why not, I said, because those five hundred
thousand voters who are undecided in the middle no information
to low information because they're living their life, and those people,
if you're going to read them, stick to the script.

(44:47):
If the script is they're lying about crowd size, everything's
AI generated, that's the new one. And then go on
and on about all of the stuff that you make
it personal and not about policy, you're going to lose. Well,
those people are idiots. That's not the way to get
them the base. You've already got them. You've already got

(45:08):
the base. What you need is to add to the base.
Even if that tent is temporary, you only need to
add to it on the fifth of November. It's that simple.

Speaker 4 (45:20):
We have never had a situation where the country was
more believing, more universal, believing that we're off on the
wrong track, believing that it's harder to make ends meet
today than it was three and a half years ago,
believing that we're worse off today than we were four
years ago. Donald Trump should be winning based on those beliefs,
and they are widely held and the spread is significant,

(45:43):
and yet he's not. And the reason why in the
end is Donald Trump the persona. And it's fascinating as upholster,
because this is going to determine who wins on election day.
And that's why messages and advertising and shows like this
and press commentses it all matters.

Speaker 5 (46:04):
Four weeks ago, Joe Biden was the Democratic nominee.

Speaker 4 (46:06):
Today life is completely different, and who knows how it
will be two weeks from now.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Stay on message and you win. Here's the roadmap. Follow
this get to the pot of gold. If you veer
off these roads, bad things happen. And right now the
Drump campaign is in the bushes triving to get circles.
It's time to get back. It's it simple, simple, you're JD.
Van say, You've asked me all these questions that have

(46:32):
nothing to do with the most important thing. What's the
issues for the American people? What are the policies that
are can to help the American people? That is all
that matters. But when you take the bait, this is
what happens, and you better figure out how to get
the message back. She's going to have a nice bomp

(46:54):
next week when it comes to the convention, and you
got to look at the numbers. I mean, they're at
the point now where some polls are pointing out that
they think the Democrats are better for the economy. Something
you are blowing people await. Is it an outlier? It's possible.
But if you stick to the message, and I don't

(47:14):
know how hard it is. This is the stuff that
infuriates me about Trump. You've got a great message and
at times the way you deliver it is incredible. But
in between the delivering of that message, you go all
over the place. Keep it short, keep it sweet, keep

(47:38):
the message on point, and you win. Three two, three, five,

Israel for the assassination in tech Ran, Israel's defense minister saying,
if Irano has Bulla harms Israel, they can expect quote
a blow unlike any other in.

Speaker 2 (50:06):
Return, can they? Yes, that will happen. By the way,
what are we doing? Something out of the ordinary for
us when it comes to military stuff. By the way,
our navy has been attacked more times. We haven't seen
this kind of attack on our navy since World War Two.
Just want to point that out. Just want to point

(50:28):
that out. Shows the kind of respect we have around
the world. But we have done something out of the ordinary,
something we don't normally do. We let everybody know what
we were doing.

Speaker 21 (50:37):
The Pentagon is ordering the USS Georgia to the Middle East.
The nuclear powered submarine is capable of holding more than
one hundred and fifty Tomahawk missiles. The Pentagon typically keeps
the movements of submarines classified. Analysts say this rare announcement
is a clear message to Iran to back.

Speaker 2 (50:56):
Down, back the aff down. Brother, Do you understand what
we were saying? Do you get it now? This is
interesting because they are trying to figure out if they
can get a seasfire, and Hamas is like, nah, we're
not going to do it. We're not going to talk
anymore about a seasfire. We've already agreed on one.

Speaker 30 (51:14):
They believe there is a previous framework deal back in July,
which they claim they've already accepted, and they say, effectively,
there's no need for more rounds of negotiations on new proposals.
There have been issues sticking points like exactly what would
happen to Israeli troops in the case of a ceasefire

(51:35):
after the initial six weeks, what would happen to the
area of territory between Gaza and Egypt.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
Yeah, except for the problem was that one that was
agreed upon was one that Israel didn't have a say,
you agreed on something that everybody else said, here's all
the stuff you want, the stuff that they've asked for.
We got rid of that. Meanwhile, you guys, they're paying attention.
It's getting a little hot in Russia.

Speaker 31 (52:01):
Several thousand Ukrainian soldiers now estimated to be in the
course region, some up to nineteen miles inside, according to
military analysts, some filming themselves raising their flags over a
handful of villages. Russia saying seventy six thousand Russian civilians
have now fled, now housed in shelters.

Speaker 2 (52:20):

Speaker 31 (52:32):
State TV showing Russia racing to send reinforcements to the region.

Speaker 2 (52:37):
Yeah, I have zero problem with this. I know a
lot of people. Well there, they're making it worse. You
attack their country and they've said we've had enough and
they're moving towards your country. Well this could cause things
to escalate. Yeah, when you attack their country. That caused
things to escalate. When you do those things like attack

(52:57):
their country and they finally say we've had enough. This
is what happens. And yes, they've got nuclear weapons. China's
got more of a control over what they may or
may not do when it comes to nuclear weapons. And

(53:18):
everybody's like they're going to drop nukes if they got
to Moscow. That is a possibility, but I highly doubt
it because they understand what would becoming. But with somebody
like you know, the pooter, you just never know, and
it's a risk though when you go over there.

Speaker 22 (53:38):
Let's be honest, Kremlin is being caught heavily off guard
by this. But this is still a very big gamble
for Ukraine, which appears to hope that this will help
relieve pressure elsewhere on the front, perhaps strengthen its hand
in future negotiations.

Speaker 2 (53:51):
And that's all this is. At this point in time.
We've talked to our buddy, my clients, military analysts over
and over again. It's a World War one, World War two.
They're fighting over land and this is what you get.
See what you can push back, See what can you
can eventually get to a point where you realize you've

If you look at the body CAEM footage, there was
no hesitation and asset from the first handful of offers
that went in there and went straight towards the hot
zone as you may call it, douchebag and took fire.
And then at that point we worked what we had.

Speaker 6 (55:00):
We couldn't again. You can't see what's on the.

Speaker 5 (55:02):
Other compo wall.

Speaker 2 (55:03):
That right there is Chief Aredondo Valdi Police. Did I
say something? Did I say it out loud? I call
him an asshat and a douchebag because he is so.
More and more is coming out every day, freedom of information,
at kids, lawsuits, trying to find out what went down.
We're finding out more and more and guess what, it
ain't good, it's worse.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
Right, we might need help. We got shots fired at
the school.

Speaker 32 (55:25):
Bro That's what Uvalde Police sergeant at water Canalis said
nearly an hour after the shooter entered rob Elementary School
and fired through a classroom door. Canal Is hit in
the ear by building fragments during that gunfire, but the
new body camera footage from him and others show officers
still standing, not breaching the classroom. The footage among hundreds

(55:48):
of files released by the City of Uvaldi after a
long legal battle with NBC News and other organizations.

Speaker 33 (55:55):
We're going to see more hesitation, more of them willing
to put their lives over our children's lives.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
Absolutely well, there was a wall. You can't see through
the wall. What an absolute clown. The fact that he
went on CNN and spoke last week was just it
just made it so much effing worse. You're not the victim.
You're a douche. You screwed up. No screwing up is

(56:23):
I tried some it didn't work. You didn't even try.
We can't find the keys, so we can't get in

Speaker 32 (56:41):
According to a case report from twenty eighteen, officers questioned
Salvador Ramos when he was still in middle school over
concerns that he was obsessed with the Columbine shooting, and
told others he wanted to shoot up his school when
he became a senior.

Speaker 2 (56:58):
Red flags, Red Flags, enormous, red flags, red Flags.

Speaker 32 (57:03):
Brett Cross's son, Uzzi Garcia, one of the nineteen children
already murdered by the time nearly four hundred officers breached
the shooter's classroom, more than seventy minutes after he had
entered the school. Video blurred by the city before release
reveals frantic and angry officers as they shuffle survivors out

(57:28):
of the classroom.

Speaker 33 (57:31):
There was a lot of running in after the shooter
was dead. Then there was no hesitation. Then there was
this act of urgency.

Speaker 2 (57:42):
Yeah, you think, just okay, now let's go. He's dead.
He's dead. Who killed him?

Speaker 3 (57:50):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (57:51):
The Border Patrol Special Unit showed up and they did
our job for us. Well. Then Boys High five.

Speaker 32 (57:56):
Newly released records also include text messages between officers in
the days of following the massacre, Sergeant Donald Page writing
to others that he would decline a meeting with President
Biden to go quote to camp Wood and eat great
brisket and just relax the records, Cross says, reinforcing what
he's felt for two years, but still important to see.

Speaker 33 (58:20):
I think everything should be shot. I think the world
needs to continue to see how these officers felt. How
because of them, children are dead. Because of them, teachers.

Speaker 2 (58:30):
Are dead one hundred percent. His uncle, by the way,
some of the other stuff that's coming at his uncle
actually called nine one one when all of this was
going on. So his nephews and they're shooting stuff up
and he's calling nine one one saying I know who
he is.

Speaker 34 (58:44):
He got be coming number one.

Speaker 3 (58:47):
Time.

Speaker 35 (58:48):
Some happening that Robinson, my nephew. Do you know of
any change in his behavior over the last couple of days. No, no, no,
nothing nothing. He just said she said that he was
mad that his grandma sadly was.

Speaker 32 (59:07):
My god.

Speaker 13 (59:08):
Please.

Speaker 35 (59:08):
He told them about I think you're shooting kids, shooting
you have the classroom hostage.

Speaker 2 (59:20):
Yeah, and he did just disgusting. And they stood out there,
four hundred cops center around. Some wanted to go in.
And this guy, this Aridonda douche just was the word douchebag,
just ass hat and just stood around, did nothing. Just
a horrible does somebody who asked kids, see why the
parents are pissed? One who wanted to go in there.

(59:42):
They had him arrested, including another officer. My goodness, me,
this is the textbook how never to do anything. This
is it right here, how never to do anything. Just
absolutely when you think about it, and the fact that
he's out there talking infuriate everybody. Everybody. The Olympics came

(01:00:05):
to a close last night, not before somebody tried to
climb the Eiffel Tower.

Speaker 22 (01:00:11):
As a dude climbing in the Eiffel Tower, he just
passed the blue ring.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
I don't think he's wearing a shirt that matters. Oh
my goodness. Of course, you know, with what's going on
potentially with what could have happened at the Taylor Swift
concert and the heightened chaos going on at times in France.
They've got an issue with radical Islam. There was a worry,

(01:00:39):
and then of course you throw Russia in the mix
as well. But maybe it was just somebody who wanted
to tell everybody stop eating meat. I don't know, but
there was some controversy at the Olympics, and if you
guys haven't heard. And I'm not talking about the unwarranted
and wanted kiss by the lady who kissed Tom Cruise. No, no, no, no,

(01:01:00):
I'm not talking about that, talking about Jordan Chiles, our
Olympian Well she robbed.

Speaker 34 (01:01:05):
A controversial end to the Games for American gymnast Jordan Chiles,
the International Olympic Committee stripped of her bronze medal in
the floor exercise. Initially, Chiles finished fifth in Monday's competition.
Her coach appealed, saying her athletic difficulty score was under
credited and her score was adjusted. But today Olympic arbitrators
ruled the appeal missed the one minute deadline. The medal

(01:01:28):
will now be given to Team Romania's Anna Barbosu. USA
Gymnastics said they were devastated by the ruling. Teammate Simone
Biles wrote on Instagram, sending you so much love, Jordan.
Keep your chin up, Olympic champ We love you. The
US Olympic Committee plans to appeal.

Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
So the way it works is if there's like fifteen
girls going and your number twelve and they want to appeal,
you have four minutes to appeal. If you're the last
person to go. You only have a minute. They got
it in supposedly a minute in four seconds, but we've

(01:02:04):
got other video that said we got it in earlier.
She has to return her medal right now. Now, all
this happened when we went in appealed and the Romanian
was third, and all of a sudden she was bumped,
and then the Romanians were like, we're not even gonna
come to the closing ceremonies. Then they went to an
arbitration and the arbiter said, you guys can do whatever

(01:02:26):
you want, but we think that they didn't get it
in in time. Here's our ruling. Do whatever the hell
you guys want. So that's where we are in this.
And then of course it's now become about racism because
her sister's like, this is racism. I'm like, what, how
is this? How is this racism?

Speaker 17 (01:02:45):
Did?

Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
What exactly makes this racism? And sexism? First of all,
she's competing against other women, so I don't know how that,
you know, makes it that. And the other side of
it is did you get it in? Did you not
get it in? Why don't you guys just come up
with the Hey, both of you guys are gonna get
a bronze. We're gonna move on for this. Both of
you guys are gonna get in a bronze. By the way,

(01:03:07):
we won the Olympic medals we had forty in China
has forty. So then we go with overall metals and
we smoked everybody. So good for us. Damn it can't
beat those can Let those communist get up on our groove?
You know what I mean? Have you ever raw dog
to flight? What is that chen that sounds just weird?

(01:03:29):
That's where you sit on these long flights. No headphones,
no phone, no television, no reading. You just stare ahead
because it's stupid.

Speaker 36 (01:03:43):
The tick talkers are at it again. They just discovered
raw dogging flights, which apparently means flying to your destination
without the aids of music, movies or a book. Oh
you mean how everybody flew to their destination before two
thousand and three. Allow me to sound nine hundred years old,
But why to young people, I'll think they just discovered
the next thing when the next thing has actually been

(01:04:03):
around for like fifty years. I can't wait for the
next hot jen Z. Take raw dogging dinner. This is
where you sit down to eat your meal without snapping
any photos or propping your phone up against the salt
and pepper shakers so you can watch the circle.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
It's just like there was a guy last week or
the week before last. He went from Los Angeles to Australia.
It was like seventeen hours and he just stared straight
at it. A lot of times they'll have the screen
and you could follow where the flight is and apparently
he just stared at it the entire time. How dangerous
are you, dude? That's the way we all used to fly.

Speaker 5 (01:04:38):
Really?

Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
Yep, we didn't have all this stuff back in the day.
My kids will ask me, so, uh, what was the
internet like back when you were a kid. I'm like,
we didn't have the internet. The internet was me driving
down to my friend's house to ask him what he
was doing. That was the internet. That was texting, That
was all of the stuff. Oh yeah, And it's probably

(01:05:02):
the way we felt about little House in the Prairie
when we were kids. For you, we don't even know
how these kids can have calcovision? How do they survive poorly?

Speaker 6 (01:06:18):
Running with scissors sounds great compared to.

Speaker 17 (01:06:20):
This, say, well, the weekend, the families of the sixty
two people who died in that plane crash and sell
Paulo gathering together just hours after investigators recovered the black boxes.

Speaker 29 (01:06:31):
The big question now, how did it happen? The plane
itself was not that old. It flew about fourteen years.
Some experts wonder if ice could have built up on
the wings. Brazilian officials had been warning of severe icing
in the area.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Yeah, if you didn't see it, it was everywhere because there
are phones everywhere. There's bring cameras, even places like Brazil's
out in the middle of nowhere. Everybody's got access to
a phone, and you could see the plane coming down
and you're like, what is going going on?

Speaker 37 (01:07:00):
When we talk about that type of spin, how we
get into those spins is unknown at this point, how
the aircraft got into that predictament or not. But what
we refer that to as a power on stall, meaning
it didn't have engines lost and then it stalled and
fell to the ground. This is a power on stall
in which they're trying to attempt to keep moving forward
and get airflow over the wings enough where they can

(01:07:22):
recover from the spin that they're in, and that's sometimes
referred to as a flat flat spin as well.

Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
Yeah, and it was just awful. They were just going
in circles coming down and you see it, you know,
and different views. It goes behind the trees and then
you see the smoke and everything, and it was it
was horrible, and it was like, what do you mean ice?
Think about different We're in summer there in winter, That's

(01:07:49):
what we're talking about here, Because some people are going
to go, why do they have ice on their wings? Summer, winter,
different hemisphere, things like that. Just put that out there. Okay,
Democratic Invention starts on the nineteenth. We're what a week
away from that? Are you guys ready for it? Who's
excited for it? The protesters, that's who. And there's going
to be plenty. People are worried. This is going to

(01:08:10):
be nineteen sixty eight all over, So you guys, don't
what happen nineteen thy eight. Several days of rioting. It
was supposed to be some sort of protest against the
war and Vietnam and celebration facts of life and all
this kind of thing, and what it turned out to
be was a lot of rioting and it was ugly

(01:08:32):
in Chicago during the sixty eight convention, some ten thousand protesters,
twenty three thousand police and National Guard. Are we going
to see a repeat? Is it possible?

Speaker 3 (01:08:43):
Book?

Speaker 38 (01:08:44):
With protest organizers, they tell me that they still expect
there to be tens of thousands of protesters out there
at the DNC, regardless of Kamala Harris's position as a
new Democratic.

Speaker 6 (01:08:54):
Front runner, and people.

Speaker 38 (01:08:56):
In that community that are planning to protest say they
have a mixed actions when it comes to Harris. Now,
Kamala Harris is a scene as being a little bit
more sympathetic to the Palestinian calls than Biden. Many activists
argue that she hasn't done enough, though, despite her recent
calls for increased aid to Gaza and a more nuanced
approach to Israel, the protests organizers remain resolute. They are

(01:09:18):
preparing for what they hope will be a demonstration on
par with what happened at the nineteen sixty eight Democratic
National Convention.

Speaker 2 (01:09:26):
Yeah, I don't think anybody wants to see a repeat
of that. Here's something interesting, Little Palestine is in Chicago.

Speaker 38 (01:09:34):
There's a wide range of topics and causes when it
comes to this protest, but the main one is that
these protesters want an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
They also want usaid to Israel to stop. They would
like to see more effort to end this war. Chicago
actually has the largest concentration of Palestinian Americans. The protests

(01:09:58):
are being driven by a deep since of anger and
frustration within the Palestinian American community, particularly in Little Palatine
that's just outside of Chicago, only fifteen miles from the
United Center where the DNC will be held, and many
of these residents have direct ties to Gaza and have
been profoundly impacted by the ongoing war there.

Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
So I didn't realize Little Palestine was there. So there's
that their potential. We were joking earlier. We're like, it's
is it gonna be chaos because there's a lawsuit out
right now where they are trying to do the same
thing they did in nineteen sixty eight. Daily back in
the day, his thing was We're just not going to

(01:10:39):
issue permits to protest, which didn't stop people here. They're like,
you guys can protest, but you have to do it
way over here, and so they've gone to court and
said no, no, no, no, no, no, we want to do
it here. You guys are trying to stop our voice
from being heard, and out of the chaos back, I'm like, yeah,

(01:11:00):
that's not that. You guys shouldn't do that. They should
be able to do it right there, and you know
some of them are going to get on the floor.
What will the cops do?

Speaker 38 (01:11:07):
The protest includes over two hundred advocacy groups with varying
causes from reproductive rights to combating police brutality. Organizers are
demanding significant change in US policy towards Gaza and are
not satisfied with the Biden administration's actions. The Anti Defamation League,
a group that combats anti Semitism, sounding off on X

(01:11:27):
after flywers were found in a nearby neighborhood with quote
anti American and violent rhetoric. Chicago leadership tells us that
while they do respect protest rights to freedom of speech,
if there are any kind of security issues or safety issues,
they will step up and put into place any kind

(01:11:49):
of security measures that may be needed to keep the communities.

Speaker 2 (01:11:51):
We'll find out if that happens. Are they're going to
crack heads or they're not going to crack heads if
they need to. Hopefully they don't have to. Hopefully everybody
can be peaceful. But is the potential for this to
get ugly? I think there is. I'm hoping it doesn't.
There A little bit of me wants a chassfactor, but
I'm hoping it doesn't. Three two, three, five, three eight

(01:12:12):
twenty four twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Is your
Twitter tweet at as text the show right here on
the Chad Benson Show. Meanwhile, the race that is for
President of the United States is always taking a weird,
silly turn because none of the stuff that talked about

(01:12:32):
really matters.

Speaker 24 (01:12:33):
Trump has long boasted about the size of his rallies
just easygo, claiming nobody has spoken to crowds bigger than me.

Speaker 33 (01:12:39):
It's not as if anybody cares about crowd sizes or anything.

Speaker 2 (01:12:44):
He's right and a lot of that, but especially in
the modern political world. But he's making this about crowd
size again, little things that do not matter. Focus on
what matters, which is hard for him to do. To
struggle with the discipline he has three three twenty four
to twenty three at Chad Benson Shows your Twitter slash ax.
It's the Chad Benson Show, this.

Speaker 1 (01:13:05):
Is the Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life, this

(01:13:35):
is Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:13:37):
Stick to the script should be simple. Stick to the script.
When I was trying to do voiceover work and trying
to get my voiceover business going long gone days of viewer,
one of the things is I did is I worked
in the financial industry. And some of the first things
you do is you're kind of an opener. Mean, you
make phone calls back in the day when the internet

(01:13:58):
wasn't the way it is, and you make phone calls
and you call somebody and you would try to get
them interested in whatever financial product you were selling. Right,
So a lot of times you were already clients, but
maybe you had something else to offer them, and then
you would hand it off to one of the bigger brokers.
And they still always say, stick to the script. It works,
it works. Stick to the script. It works. Stick to

(01:14:20):
the script. Now put your twist on it. Don't read
it word for word because people could tell, but stick
to the script. Donald Trump does not stick to the script.
He hasn't stuck to the script. He's frustrated, he's angry,
he's making it personal, he's lashing out. And when you
do those things, that's not good. No, it's not undecided

(01:14:46):
voters are deciding already. The shrinking pool of undecided voters
Wall Street Journal. Most voters, they say, tend to come
home to the party they usually fit, which I think
we all know that happens most of the time that happens.

(01:15:09):
Are they coming home now, yeah, I think some of
them are. They weren't coming home to Joe Biden, but
they're coming home now to Kamala Is it because she's young, Yeah,
that's a big part of it. They understood that he
can't and wasn't capable of running anymore. But the turbulent

(01:15:35):
events of the past month have sped up the process.
The attempt on Trump's life, Biden's withdraw and the selection
of running mates have energized the core voters within each
party and helped Harris erase Trump's previous lead. Six weeks ago,
the Wall Street Journal found that twenty eight percent of
voters were up for grabs. That means they're not fully

(01:15:55):
committed to any candidate. By late last month, it was
only fifteen percent, and it's down even more so. Now
Trump and Harris have ninety three percent of their party's voters.
That's big. That's huge because you had a lot of
disgruntled Democrats who were frustrated with what was going on,

(01:16:22):
who were looking around saying, there's no way I can
vote for Joe Biden. I may never vote for Trump,
but I won't vote for Joe Biden. Well that was
a win for Trump. But now they look and the same.
I can vote for her, I could vote for her.
We've talked about this seven hundred. I mean there's seven states,
five hundred thousand to a million voters that may be

(01:16:43):
less in those seven states will decide what is going
to take place. Share of voters considered persuadable or up
for grabs only fifteen percent as of late July. Now,
there's been a couple outliers where it says that the
Democrats are better on the economy than the Republicans, but

(01:17:06):
for the most part, Trump has led big time. According
to the Wall Street Journal, the economy Trump sixty one percent,
Harris twelve, Immigration fifty eight to eighteen. Abortion. Harris wins
that you need to stick to the script because if
you don't, you're going to lose.

Speaker 4 (01:17:24):
Donald Trump has not had two good weeks since since
Biden pulled out. He's been off message, He's been very
negative and very hostile, and clearly he's he's kind of
lost his balance. He absolutely emerged from the convention with
a clear and convincing lead.

Speaker 5 (01:17:44):
But what has happened.

Speaker 4 (01:17:45):
He stopped talking about immigration, he stopped talking about inflation,
and has said he's been so personal with his attacks
that voters are starting to recoil. And it's not been
a good It's been really an awful two weeks fra him.

Speaker 2 (01:17:59):
It has it has now the media is focused, like
with jd Vance, on the most ridiculous stuff that doesn't matter.
And when I listen to jd Vance talk, I'm like,
you should just do what that guy's saying. We're not
talking about policy, and we should be talking about policy.

(01:18:20):
We need to be talking about the things that matter
to the American people, not some offhand remark I made
three or four years ago that you're trying to make
this entire campaign about crazy catwomen and they're out there. Uh,
that's not very.

Speaker 5 (01:18:35):
Nice, Jed.

Speaker 2 (01:18:36):
They are and everybody knows it. Like he didn't say
anything that people don't already know. I mean, how many
memes are out there of crazy catwomen before? Well, it
was different than it was fun. This time is full
of hate. Whatever, stick to the script. It works. What's
the script? Immigration, inflation, Those are your that's your jam,

(01:18:56):
that is your that's that's the wheelhouse, the wheelhouse, that's
the place you need to live. Immigration inflation. If you're
up there for thirty minutes, twenty nine minutes, better be
immigration and inflation. That's it. The other thing is he
needs a little bit less is more. I'm gonna tell
you that right now. Some of you probably don't want
to hear that. Some of you are in the cult.

(01:19:19):
Less is more. You don't need to be on stage
for two hours. We know you can do it. You
start rambling, you're all over the place. Stick to the script.

Speaker 4 (01:19:29):
We're doing focus groups now, trying to measure those who
are coming over to Harris who did not support Biden,
And make no mistake, they are issue voters and nothing
matters more to them than either inflation, which I call affordability,
because they simply can't get the food and the housing
and the healthcare and the fuel and all the things

(01:19:49):
they want to live. And it's also immigration, which is
a broader issue to them because that's a sense of
safety and security. Trump has the advantage. And this is
what I do understand as a Paul Stern. Someoney's been
doing this for thirty five years. Trump has the advantage
on these issues by ten, fifteen, even twenty points, and

(01:20:11):
yet he's not talking about them. She's on message.

Speaker 5 (01:20:14):
He is not.

Speaker 2 (01:20:17):
He is not what's his message? Her audience is fake
and it's not real. My audience is bigger. Is she
black issiation? It depends. Stick to the script. Say simple.
Somebody asks you a question about whatever you say. Look,

(01:20:44):
the American people are frustrated, they're broke. They feel like
they're running uphill in a sandstorm while they're on ice skates.
And our goal is to get rid of the sand,
to do our best to put in stairs, get those

(01:21:05):
ice skates off of them, and help them get to
where they need to go. Immigration is a disaster, and
her taking a hard stance on immigration. Nobody knows what
she thinks because she refused to answer questions because you
won't sit in front of anybody to do it. You
guys know I will. But it was working under me,
it hasn't been working under them. And whether you want

(01:21:27):
to say she was bizarre, she had an important part
of immigration and she failed to do anything about it.
Most importantly, she failed to pay any attention to it.
Stick to the script.

Speaker 4 (01:21:38):
If this is an issue based campaign, Trump still has
the advantage. Not only am I not calling him out.
She is winning right now. She is absolutely ahead. But
we have ups and downs that this leeg will go
back and forth. But remember this is happening before the convention.
She's going to get a bounce from that convention. She's
getting pre convention balanced. It's about issues. Trump is much

(01:22:03):
more likely to be successful if it's about attributes.

Speaker 5 (01:22:06):
Harris is much.

Speaker 4 (01:22:07):
More likely to be successful because, quite frankly, people like
her more than they like him. It's something that they
If he's watching this right now, his head is exploding,
and that's part of the problem.

Speaker 2 (01:22:19):
That is part of the problem. Focus is on too
much stuff that doesn't matter. You're focused on crap. Nobody cares.
I don't care what big your audience was. I don't
care about any of that. You know what to care about? Inflation,
unstoppable access to our country from anywhere in the world
because this administration wants to do nothing about it. The

(01:22:41):
chance that there may be an absolute, all out, full
blown war in the Middle East and Ukraine and Russia
getting to the point where Russia decides, hey, we need
to do something desperate here. I care about those things.
How does that affect us? What draws the fact that
our navy has been fired at more over the last

(01:23:04):
couple of months, and they have been since World War Two?
Those things matter. We're moving a nuclear sub into the
area to try to, you know, send a message to Iran. Hey,
don't do that. Those days matter. I don't care about
the size of your audience, dude, I don't. I don't.

(01:23:27):
My audience was so big it means nothing. Who cares
stick to the script.

Speaker 4 (01:23:34):
He has lost touch with the people that he needs,
and she is in perfect touch. Look at the rallies,
Look at how she relates to them. The challenge is
what happens when she has a press conference, What happens
when she faces people like you asking questions like yours.
That's significant. She hasn't had to do it, and event
she will be forced to do so. But as it's

(01:23:57):
happening right now, her attribute versus Trump's issues.

Speaker 5 (01:24:02):
She's got the lead.

Speaker 2 (01:24:03):
She's got the lead. Focus, focus, focus, man, it becomes
simple when you just keep it simple, stupid, do the
things you're supposed to do right in front of you,
and then go from there. So you don't want to
end to personality. It's not that I did say that. See,

(01:24:25):
that's what people are gonna hear. And I've already got
the mag of people yelling at me. You're awful, You're horrible,
You're the worst, Okay, whatever, Live in the bubble you
live in and you'll get what you get. If you
do not think you need to do anything else, then
there you go. And if you lose, then I'm sure

(01:24:47):

Robert Bird trending because if you guys did not see
the Biden interview, talked about the KKK and how comfortable
they are that they could take their hoods off. Not
forgetting about Robert Bird, democrat many years being the at
one time Grand Wizard of the KKK oh Bogram Air Base.

(01:28:07):
And that is trending because apparently there's a some sort
of speech or something that Tim Walls did where he
talked about seeing the coffins of that soldiers at Bogram
Air Force Base when he served, and he had never
been there. And you know what's funny. At this point,
I don't even know it's real anymore. I I know

(01:28:31):
that sounds weird, but welcome to the world of reality
of AI. Is it real? Is it not real? I
think it is. Head over to h Yahoo, Noah Lyles,

Fin Olympic Medal count all trending on Google. Yeah. I
watched a bit of the end of the ceremonies last night.
Obviously everybody's wondering what Tom Cruise was going to do
and what did he do?

Speaker 3 (01:29:37):
Whoa Tom kras Only only Tom Cruise.

Speaker 19 (01:29:51):
This is real, the mobiles and Tom Cruise for that
opening ceremony, the Journey to America begin.

Speaker 2 (01:30:00):
That's that's right, So we have it now, tag we're it.
So Los Angeles has the Games in twenty twenty eight,
so we'll see. We'll see how that goes. What are
you gonna do? All the homeless people and all the crime?
What are you gonna do with all that stuff? Chad?
Crime is down? I know crime is down except for

(01:30:20):
the part where crime is up. And we explained it
last week. The bologna of how they play with these figures,
and it is hilarious. I remember what I said last week.
I'm California. Last two years, my mother's had her car taken.
We've been robbed twice when we've went out there. Outside

(01:30:42):
of my mom reporting it, What were we gonna do?
They've broken our car, took our stuff. Cops don't want
to hear that stuff, so you just chalk it up
as a loss. Didn't mean crime didn't happen. You're just frustrated.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benton Show's your Twitter tweet? That is
texted program. It's a Chad Benson Chow Chad.

Speaker 6 (01:31:24):
This is Chad Benson Femina.

Speaker 20 (01:31:26):
Taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.

Speaker 25 (01:31:31):
Last night we saw a big speech in Nevada by
Kamala Harris and she came out for.

Speaker 5 (01:31:38):
No tax on tips.

Speaker 3 (01:31:41):
Where have I heard that before?

Speaker 4 (01:31:42):
We are going to not charge taxes on tips people
making tips?

Speaker 2 (01:31:50):
Hmm, I've heard that from that guy. Stick to the
scrip and you win. It's that simple man. Some of
you mad at me you left his Tommy. Then other
ones are like, you are going to vote for a racist,
you hate America because you like Trump. I'm pissing both
of you off. That means that I'm doing something right.
It is funny, though, that she's going to do no

(01:32:10):
tax I thought that was who did I see today?
Somebody on MSNBC. Really No, that was actually her policy. Okay,
settle down. She told it to me years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:32:24):
She was quiet.

Speaker 2 (01:32:26):
She didn't tell anybody but me, so I know it's
totally true. Okay, Okay, okay, sure it is. Meanwhile, the
rest of the world's on fire.

Speaker 30 (01:32:36):
Iran doubling down on its commitment to take revenge against
Israel for the assassination in Tehran, Israel's Defense minister saying,
if Iran has Bulla harms Israel, they can expect quote
a blow unlike any other in return.

Speaker 2 (01:32:51):
Yes, in fact, it's getting so uncomfortable over there. We
move some things around that we don't normally tell everybody
we do.

Speaker 21 (01:32:58):
The Pentagon is ordering the USS Georgia to the Middle East.
The nuclear powered submarine is capable of holding more than
one hundred and fifty Tomahawk missiles. The Pentagon typically keeps
the movements of submarines. Classified. Analysts say this rare announcement
is a clear message to Iran to back.

Speaker 2 (01:33:17):
Down, back the f off enough enough. Although we talked
to our buddy Mike Lyons last week military analysts, he said, look,
they're doing something that is unpredictable for them, because normally
Israel's had the really the easy fight with Iran and

(01:33:37):
everybody else because it's been very reactionary and very predictable.
But they're doing something very different for Iran. Is they're
very unpredictable. Now they're saying we're coming, they're just not
saying when. And then you move over and you got
Ukraine and.

Speaker 31 (01:33:54):
Oh my god, several thousand Ukrainian soldiers now estimated to
be in the Kuz region, some up to nineteen miles inside,
according to military analysts, some filming themselves raising their flags
over a handful of villages. Russia saying seventy six thousand
Russian civilians have now fled, now housed in shelters, and

(01:34:15):
dozens of Russian soldiers surrendering. State TV showing Russia racing
to send reinforcements to the region.

Speaker 2 (01:34:24):
It is getting very scary over there, and it already
was scary. It is just awful. The amount of people
lost on both sides, the amount of horrific violence that
is happening at close range. It is brutal. But Ukraine
fields they have to go for it. I think they think,
you know what, if Trump gets in, he's going to

(01:34:46):
want us to give up a bunch of land for peace,
and or else we're not going to have any money,
and what could that mean, Well, maybe we got to
take the effort to attack now, or otherwise we could
be sol.

Speaker 22 (01:35:01):
The Kremlin is being caught heavily off guard by this.
But this is still a very big gamble for Ukraine,
which appears to hope that this will help relieve pressure
elsewhere on the front, perhaps strengthen its hand in future negotiations.

Speaker 2 (01:35:12):
Perhaps because that's what it is. You want to get
to the point where you have got the most bargaining chips,
because you're not going to have them all. So if
you've got the most bargaining chips, maybe you get back
a little bit more land than you thought you were
going to get back.

Speaker 31 (01:35:26):
Russia saying seventy six thousand Russian civilians have now fled,
now housed in shelters, and dozens of Russian soldiers surrendering.
State TV showing Russia racing to send reinforcements to the region,
trying to gain the upper hand, now hunting Ukrainian military
vehicles with drones and aircraft. President Zelenski for the first

(01:35:48):
time Saturday, confirming his operation I Daskayovini Ukraine is proving
that it can indeed restore justice, he says, and put
pressure on the aggressor.

Speaker 2 (01:35:59):
And I have no problem with are you putting pressure
on the aggressor? He is not a good person. Everybody's like, well,
look how weak Russia was. Russia was only weak because
we supplied them with stuff that was well more advanced
than they could have ever thought about, which they have
now figured out. They've now figured out a lot of
what we do and a lot of the stuff that
we have, at least they know we have. There's a

(01:36:20):
lot of other stuff they have no idea, So we
have that. Being said, without that, I do believe they
would have marched right on in without the help of us.
In some European countries they would have wanted into keep.
It didn't mean it was gonna be easy, but it
wouldn't be what it is now. And I have zero
issues with this. Now. Do I think that Putin could

(01:36:41):
get jumpy or if they moved and got to the
point where they really had a path to Moscow, Yeah,
that's when I think, oh oh oh, then yeah, could be.
That's when you start thinking tactical nuke. That's when you
start thinking those kind of things. But I don't think
that's gonna happen. And I think that the Chinese have
warned him if you do something like that, we are

(01:37:03):
gonna just step away and not have any part of this.
So we shall see how that happens. This weekend, I
went shopping and grab a couple of things and boy,
Halloween is everywhere. Summer what summer?

Speaker 18 (01:37:17):
We the people of this town love Halloween so much
they celebrate it twice a year.

Speaker 36 (01:37:22):
Summer ween.

Speaker 1 (01:37:24):
Something about that feels unnatural.

Speaker 2 (01:37:26):
Sometimes summer what summer? We summer ween earlier, so you're
not imagining things. It's earlier. Usually right after Labor Day
stuff starts to pop up. But I am seeing it
all over now. And I don't get me wrong. I

(01:37:47):
love Halloween. It's my favorite thing in the world, Halloween
and Christmas, and I'm thrilled. But it's still kind of
warm out to feel halloweenish, if that makes sense. Oh yeah,
speaking of scary one hunt python.

Speaker 40 (01:38:02):
Hundreds of people are in the Florida Everglades hunting Burmese pythons.

Speaker 4 (01:38:06):
This is what I've lived doing my entire life, and
there's a tournament doing it.

Speaker 2 (01:38:10):
I want to do this.

Speaker 40 (01:38:11):
Python hunter j Catalycus is exactly who the Florida Fish
and Wildlife Conservation Commission wants hunters to get rid of
the large snakes and raise awareness about invasive species.

Speaker 2 (01:38:22):
Every python removed from the environment is a win for
native species. Yeah, there's a lot of pythons. Somebody's like
that's because they're bad pet owners. You know, a lot
of it was hurricanes. People fled over the years. When
hurricanes came, they damaged a lot of things. People lost
some of their pets, and these animals, especially the Burmese pythons.

(01:38:46):
Florida is set up for these animals, tagus and pythons
to thrive. The weather is almost identical to where they
are in the wild.

Speaker 40 (01:38:59):
Python Management coordinator Zachary Tchechanovski says more than two hundred
pythons were taken out in last year's challenge.

Speaker 2 (01:39:08):
Some big ones out there too, some big, big pythons
out there. So if you're going out going hunting, it's weird, right,
like the way that that people celebrate hunting these things.
And if it was Bambi people and you were to
party and scream and yell like, yeah, this is awesome.
Gonna kill Babby. You're gonna slaughter Babby. Be like you're
disgusting because it slithers. It's it's it's it's it's evil

(01:39:33):
and bad. It's okay. Oh yeah, tonight, uh five pm
Pacific a PM Eastern. Trump's gonna sit down with Elon
on X little one on one. Elon, by the way,
is not loved in Britain.

Speaker 12 (01:39:46):
As for Elon Musk, he is one of I would suggest,
one of the most dangerous men on the planet. He
uses his billions, he is unaccountable to anyone to amplify
at far right white supremacist ideology. He has, as you
have rightly said, suggested, I think instinctly is hoping for
civil war in some parts of Europe, including in the UK.

(01:40:11):
And instead of using x as a platform for good
and using his enormous wealth for good, he is using
it I think for the most wicked, evil pointicket. And
in terms of regulation, let me say this is something
that the Prime Minister, Keir Starmer will now have to
think seriously about what more needs to be done. We
need to have better regulation to ensure that we don't

(01:40:34):
have the kind of disinformation that has run rampant in
the last week and be allowed to do so in
the future with such devastating consequences.

Speaker 2 (01:40:41):
Yeah, Elon's the most dangerous men on the planet. That
is a hends up use of former Prime parliament Member
for Scotland talking about Elon and Elon last weeks. Then
there's could be a civil war. The race riots and
stuff that are going on over in Britain. They're not
race riots. Their immigration riots and their fed up riots

(01:41:03):
is what they are. Three two three, five, three eight,

Paris has been a tremendous host of the Olympic Games.

Speaker 2 (01:42:30):
And the Olympic flame extinguished.

Speaker 3 (01:42:33):
Seriously, thank you Paris.

Speaker 18 (01:42:36):
Just a big great gangs will the big post bill
He I had to do it. I keep up with
the flag hanging up my backside. And only the that side.

Speaker 41 (01:42:46):
Yeah, that's the quick side crash.

Speaker 19 (01:43:03):
Only Tom Cruise, the mobiles and Tom Cruise before that
opening ceremony, the Journey into America.

Speaker 3 (01:43:12):
Again, Let's go.

Speaker 2 (01:43:16):
H ended. Last night Tom Cruise was accosted by the way.
After he comes, he dove down on top of the
stopped de France, and he dove down. He had wires, obviously,
he landed and then he ran through the crowd and
some woman accosted him that you shouldn't do by the way,
man or woman kissed him twice, so I can't do that.

(01:43:41):
Don't touch Tom, all right, don't touch Tom. It was interesting,
though interesting into it, still a little artsy all in
all though pretty damn good. Olympics got our minds off
all the crazy stuff that's going on out there in
the world, which we need a break from every once
in a while. But who was the real star, the
real star of these Olympics. Was it Simone Biles and

(01:44:03):
her comeback?

Speaker 3 (01:44:04):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:44:05):
Was it the French superstar swimmer? No? Was it Noah Lyles,
it's one hundred meter? Well what about the US women's
basketball team or soccer team or men's bat No, no, no,
no no. The real winner was breakdancing. And the real
winner of all of it was Rachel Raygun, the breakdancer
extraordinaire who has now become a meme, who has now

(01:44:28):
become so famous for her awful breakdancing. That wasn't even
breakdancing at best, It was interpretive dance.

Speaker 20 (01:44:35):
I think my understanding of musicality going into breaking was
very strong.

Speaker 6 (01:44:40):
Your background's in ballroom dancing, right, Yeah.

Speaker 20 (01:44:42):
I did boring for many years, and I also did
jazz and tap and some hip hop as well. Is
there any kind of parallels between the two. Look, I mean,
I think my understanding of musicality going into breaking was
very strong. My body awareness, my coordination, my eye for
technique has been much stronger going into the dance.

Speaker 2 (01:45:02):
Oh yeah, except for you had no idea what you
were doing. So the breaking thing was so much fun.
So there was like several groups, just like there would
be a soccer tournament or something like that. So you
had four people in a group, and everybody would face
off with everybody once she got zero points the entire time.
In fact, one of the judges said she was awful,
but she tried hard. If you saw it, you would

(01:45:24):
have thought she had never seen breakdancing. She had no
idea what she was doing. It was interpretive dance. She
jumped around like a kangaroo with the little arms. It
was spectacular. She laid on the floor on her side
and then spun in circles, not like a breakdancer, like
a child pissed off because they didn't get a toy
they wanted. But you know what, if you play your

(01:45:44):
cards right, you can make this work for you in
ways you never dreamed. You are left shark or right
shark or whatever it was behind Katie Perry. But the
difference is is you got a face to it all.
You can make it happen. You could become this month's
version of a Hot two girl if if you're smart
with the people at the Olympics, especially for Australia, not happy.

Speaker 23 (01:46:03):
I love Rachel and I think that what has occurred
on social media with trolls and keyboard warriors and taking
those comments and giving them airtime has been really disappointing.
If you don't know Rachel's story. In two thousand and eight,
she was locked in a room crying being involved in
a male dominated sport as the only woman, and it

(01:46:26):
took great courage for her to continue on and fight
for her opportunity to participate in a sport that she
loved and that got her to winning the Olympic qualifying
event to be here in Paris. She is the best
breakdancer female that we have for Australia.

Speaker 2 (01:46:43):
I saw some of the qualifications. She is the best,
So that says a lot about everybody else. Run with it,
become something with it, Take this disaster and make it
your own. Most people would love to go viral like
this and the people that hate you, they hate it.
A vast majority of people are making fun of you,

(01:47:03):
but they love you because you made their lives a
little bit easier that day for being so awful at
what it is that you do, and you did it
in front the world. So God bless you for that
speaking in front of the world. Box office numbers still massive.
They may be contemplating a new wing at the Blake
Lively and Ryan Reynolds household after this weekend's box office

(01:47:24):
Reynolds Deadpool and Wolverine holding on to the number one spot,
earning another fifty four point two million dollars domestically in
the number two spot his better half, Blake Lively and
Her Romance. It ends with us surpassing fifty million dollars
in its first weekend. Twisters takes third with fifteen million dollars.
Border Lands, with a week eight million dollar debut for

(01:47:44):
fourth Despickable Me four rounds out the top five. Dead
Borderlands front costs one hundred million. You made eight. That's
not a good situation there. Deadpool is amazing. Don't take
your kids. I told you that last week, and I
continue to say that. If you bring your children and
I'm not talking about a fifth teen year old boy
or girl that's seen. I'm talking about if you take
your five year old to see this, you are an idiot.

Speaker 42 (01:48:05):
Dad pulling overine ruined my kids. And here is why
I took the family to the movies yesterday to see
that movie, because everyone was talking about it. Mama's let
me tell you, guard your hearts, protect your little ones.
I have contacted the movie theater to get a refund
because my kids were definitely traumatized, ruined, and emotionally damaged
from that movie. My one hundred and twenty month old
could not stop talking about all of the horrindous things

(01:48:27):
she had seen. They also truly believe in multi universe
and have been trying to kill each other because there
is obviously another replacement somewhere else and all they need
is a time machine. When we know, in fact, our
Lord and Savior, Baby Daddy Jesus, is the only one
that holds the time in his hands, so there is
no such thing as time machine, metaverse, whatever it is
that it's called.

Speaker 2 (01:48:48):
Baby Daddy Jesus. That's kind of an odd thing to say.
Three two three, five, three eight twenty four twenty three
at Chad Benson Shows, your Twitter, tweet at as text
the show right here on The Chad Benson Show. Secondly,
one hundred and twenty month old, your ten year old,
don't take your kids to see it. That's poor parenting.
Thank you very much. Solid fun show today, as always,

(01:49:11):
didn't have a chance to get to stupid information you
need to know, because what we were busy doing other things,
you know, week away from the Democratic Convention, kind of
getting going in earnest. We have a lot of stuff
that's going to happen this week, and the ebbs and
the flows and the twist and the turns that are
going to happen, and it's going to happen people. We
still have a long way to go, even though it

(01:49:33):
seems like the finish lines not too far away. You guys,
have a blessed rest of your Monday. We will do
it again tomorrow and as always, night night Jack.
